El Paso Animal Emergency Center: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommended this was our second visit. In our first visit our furbaby had an obstruction in his stomach and the vets were very reassuring of the process and the recovery of my boy. On the second issue our other furbaby was struggling due to dehydration, and even though it was 3am the were quick to help and so attentive to the needs of the pup. We thank you so much for all you have done for us.
Experiencia positiva: I want to thank the doctors for saving my little dog I'm from LA and she never had such a long trip on the road. She's been doing well with medication and I'm taking her to a doctor here in LA now, for her heart condition. I'm so glad they let me go back there and retrieve her blanket and bed that's her favorite and my sister had made it for her. Thank you Edward
Experiencia negativa: If I could give a negative star I will!! This place was no help!! I waited for two hours with a medical emergency for my puppy! For them to do absolutely nothing! I came into this place hoping they would do something right away, but that wasn’t the case. After waiting for two hours the doctor came in to only say” we can do an X-ray and blood work, and that’s all but no one will be here to treat my puppy due to them closing.” They were so quick to close up the doctor just told me I would have to take him somewhere else! So plz if you have a pet don’t bring them here! They don’t understand urgency and aren’t quick to help or point you into the right direction! The only message I have for this place is “ thank you for nothing!”
Experiencia fantástica: Great care, very detailed and personable, our vet was very knowledgeable and patient with us to explain the various options. I felt very confident my pup was in great hands.
Thank you for the 5-star rating, Sarah! Your trust in our care means everything to us. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know!
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia positiva: Staff at check it could be a bit more friendly when you are dealing with an emergency situation. Also prioritizing an animal that comes in with an issue the owner hasn't addressed in 3 months should not take president over an animal with a possible poison issue.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. In emergency care, unfortunately, wait times can vary depending on the number of patients and the severity of cases being treated at that time.
Experiencia fantástica: My cat Fred got sick and we took him here. It was in the middle of the night. This veterinary clinic and everyone treated him so nicely. Everything was explained to us thoroughly and with great kindness and we were given options. If ever we have to take him anywhere again it will definatly be here
Thank you so much for the 5-star review, Jenny. We’re glad we could be there for you and your pet when it mattered most. We hope you never face another emergency, but please know our team is always here if you need us.

Experiencia fantástica: Very caring and attentive staff during a very difficult time, kept us calm and very understanding. Becky was very attentive and overall a joy to be around we’ve been in an emergency. The entire staff is very caring and professional, and we are very comfortable going there and leaving our baby. We will definitely be back just to visit And not with an emergency
Experiencia fantástica: Can’t say enough about this center. caring and overall attentive staff. Treated our pig and made us feel comfortable with her situation. Becky is the sweetest and most helpful. Everyone there are all just amazing rockstars. We will visit soon (without an emergency) Johnny Elvira and I are forever grateful to you
Experiencia negativa: The service was really slow. I had to ask for an update. Everything is ridiculously expensive.I had even called a couple days later to see if they could switch out one of my boys medications and they said they'd call me back and never did.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Providing compassionate care and clear communication is very important to us. In emergency care, unfortunately, wait times can vary depending on the number of patients and the severity of cases being treated at that time.
Experiencia negativa: Took our 1 year old maltipoo for emesis and dark tarry stool. We spent 4 hours there which isn’t the issue. After the doctor drew labs and saw reviewed the treatment to follow in the clinic which was subcutaneous fluids and omeprazole, she left so they could get started (2am), a little after 3 am someone came in to charge us for the fluids and meds. It took an hour to calculate charges and they still hadn’t provide any treatment. We both needed to be up by 6 am for work so we opted to treat at home. The home prescription was then taken away and not given to us. We were sent home $500 later without home prescriptions, no diagnosis, without discharge papers, and without home care instructions. We were emailed a receipt only and labs. Pretty poor service if you ask me. Doesn’t cost money to give the already written script.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Providing compassionate care and clear communication is very important to us, and we take feedback like this seriously. We would appreciate the opportunity to learn more and address your concerns directly. Please feel free to contact our practice manager so we can better understand what happened and discuss this further.
Experiencia fantástica: We took our Yorkie in for just not being himself, he was promptly taken back and diagnosed with a hurt neck. I wouldn't hesitate to go back for our pets health concerns. They're great and I recommend them.
Experiencia fantástica: We had the best experience, the staff is so friendly and Dr. K was awesome, so thorough and explained all options for our sick little dog. Hi would highly recommend them for your animals!!
Kenda, we’re grateful for your 5-star feedback. Emergency visits are never easy. If you ever need us again, our doors are open.

Experiencia negativa: On Saturday I arrived with my baby she had a medical emergency where I took her to this “emergency” clinic due to the fact its the only one open on weekends. It is the closest emergency vet to me otherwise I would have chose different place. When we got there they took my baby to the back and had her back there for about 45 mins before they placed me in a room. I waited another 45 mins for the vet to come in and ask me a whole bunch of questions about my bany and then left . Another 45 mins later another person came into the room telling me that, cpr if needed will be $500 for each attempt which i thought that was outrageous and for bloodwork and a nights stay up to $3,000. After they told me these prices I asked for my baby back because I was growing frustrated that it seemed more about getting money out of me then them actually providing any service for my dog. After about another 30-45 mins they finally admitted her. You would think they start an IV immediately instead of getting money of me! I left baby for the 24 hours observation. The next day they gave the worst ever and my baby health issues were bad and they askwd for more labs. My baby didn’t need bloodwork or an overnights stay to figure it out and that infuriates me they try to get lore mo ey out of you. I feel like this emergency vet on airway needs to be shut down and or change their name from “emergency” I went there because my dog had a serious medical emergency and they did NOTHING for my baby. I went the next say checked in with the front desk and a sat in the lobby waiting when my phone rang to let me know my baby was passing I told the lady I have been here and you staff didnt communicate with you! They put me in a room with my baby while the meds were taking effect for her passing. Less than five minutes they were charging me for cremation which I regret doing it with them. They are heartless people working here and they need more bed side manner just because they are animals doesnt mean they dont deserve compassion. I feel I left my baby in a place to suffer and will never come back to this horrible hospital. They pray on people who love their animals to get money out of you. Beware of this place and try to find a better loving facility.
Experiencia fantástica: They took extreme care of our baby. Our dog was rushed in and they quickly assessed and provided a statement of the services needed. They offer a couple different ways to pay for services if needed. Would highly recommend

Experiencia negativa: I went for my dog who had appeared in pain, white gums, and faint. I described to the staff when we came in. I waited for about one hour and they took her vitals in that time. They finally took her to the back after she threw up (about 1 hour of being there at this time). They indicated they were going to run blood work to see what they were working with (which later I found out the blood work was not done). After another 30 minutes or so I was led to a room. After another hour I asked for any updates. The doctor came in after another 15-20 minutes and they suggested my dog might be having an allergic reaction, had thrown up twice in the back, and they wanted to take x rays, give her an IV, and keep her overnight. I asked why she needed to stay over night. She had been there for 3 hours and it seemed I could watch her at home with any medications they can offer to assist…as it didn’t seem medically necessary ,as no treatment had been done at this point(again we had been there for a little over 3 hours). I became very concerned with the recommendation as dr. Clement became cold, stared intensely, and interrupted me after any question I was attempting to address. Her responses then became very dramatized and seemed inconsistent with her initial report after I began questioning. It seemed as a way to push and charge for an overnight stay. I excused myself from the room and called my partner. I returned to the room and kept him on the phone as I spoke to the doctor again and again asked for additional options than staying over night. She presented as a totally different person and all of a sudden I was given options so we can return home and follow up with my regular veterinarian in a few hours once they were open. I had to then question their ridiculous prices (about 1k for meds and an xray, that again were not provided after 3 hours of being there but were previously described as so urgent). I asked if I can cancel the almost $250 radiologist consultation that they appearently send out and is not observed in real time (I asked if the records could instead be sent to my vet who I had planned to see in the next few hours). Although the bill was presented to me as individual procedures (X-ray, “additions view”, and radiologist consultation) they refused to do the x ray without sending it to the radiologist as it is a “packaged procedure”(again I asked to send it to my regular vet instead who I planned to see in the next few hours). If the radiologist consultation was not in real time I don’t understand why it couldn’t be sent to my girls primary vet. *after following up with my vet, my dog was essentially reacting to pain in her back and is now taking joint medications. I am so glad I followed my gut and advocated for my dog as what was reported to me felt very off. It seems like it may be a place where people get taken advantage of for the love of their animals. I would not return here. And to top it all off, the place is not clean. I’ll give them 2 stars for the front staff, what I believe was the medical assistant (NOT Dr. Clement), and eventually giving my dog reasonable care.
Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough wonderful things about El Paso Animal Emergency Center, especially Dr. Flores and her incredible team. From the moment I walked in, they treated my pet with urgency, compassion, and genuine care. Dr. Flores took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question without rushing, and made sure I understood the treatment plan. Her calm, confident approach immediately put me at ease during a very stressful moment. The staff was just as exceptional — attentive, gentle, and truly dedicated. They handled my pet with so much kindness, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. I’m extremely grateful for Dr. Flores and her team. They turned a frightening situation into one where I felt supported and reassured. El Paso is lucky to have an emergency center with this level of expertise and heart. I highly recommend them to any pet owner who wants their animal in the best hands.
Experiencia fantástica: We had a good experience taking our older dog to them for emergency care. The front office staff were so kind and efficient and the vet was knowledgeable and decisive. We got in quickly and our pup was able to settle and recover with their recommended care. Good experience all around.
Mandolyn, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re happy we could provide care and comfort when you needed it. Please know that we’re here anytime you need support for your pet.
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: I will never tire of a medical care center that has genuine compassionate employees and concerns for the animal itself and for their owners. It was a truly bittersweet experience given I had to take my pet to emergency, however the greatness of availability this place had at the moment was the only way I would suggest for anyone to go. All the people I interacted with were very loving and attentive, reflectively listening and slow to give easy response. They weren't speaking like perhaps some medical personnel can with a hollowness to their tone, speaking over you, repeating the same answers to different questions. They did NOTHING like that. It was all kindness and supportive and that any per owner would appreciate from emergency care for their furry loved ones. God bless you Ladies and I will never undervalue for the care we received yesterday.
Thank you for the 5-star rating! Your trust in our care means everything to us. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know.
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: I had a follow up for Samson and as soon as I entered the door, everyone was amazed at how Samson was looking a lot better and hugged him and petted him, he eats on his own now and drinks plenty of water, goes outside to excercise, anyhow all his vitals were excellent his weight was 69.5lbs but that soon will change and Dr Bowen was amazed as well and will see him in one month Rita the assistant was extremely helpful and caring with me and Samson and she cut his nails and walked Samson to the car for me and I thanked everyone
Thank you for such kind words, Daniel! Your pet’s well-being is our highest priority, and we're glad to hear that you had such a positive experience with us at El Paso Animal Emergency Center. We’re here for you whenever you need us.
Experiencia fantástica: I came in with my dog at 3 am for an emergency. I was in a panic and crying uncontrollably. I am beyond grateful for the care and compassion Joe treated myself and my dog. He was beyond professional and allowed me to grieve my little best friend helping me through this unthinkable process. He allowed my dog to leave this earth comfortably and with dignity. I hope you read this and I want you to know that your care you provided meant the world to me in such a horrible and painful situation. I can’t thank you enough. You were my blessing in time of crisis.
We’re so sorry for your loss and for the heartbreak you experienced that day. Thank you for trusting us with such an important and emotional moment. We’re grateful to hear our team was able to provide comfort, kindness, and clarity during such a difficult time. Your words mean a great deal to our team, and we truly appreciate you sharing your experience.
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bowens and his team were amazing! My dog steadily got worse and became paralyzed so I took her in to get evaluated and she ended up needing surgery to have a chance at walking again. The staff was so helpful and supportive while taking good care of my little fur baby. They sent me pictures while she was at the hospital and let me come visit her. Becky at the front desk is amazing and she comforted me through the toughest moments. Highly recommend the team at El Paso Animal Emergency Center on Airway. Thank you Dr. Bowens!
Experiencia negativa: I took my cat there, and they don’t talk to each other. I got three different vets while my cat was there and they didn’t give us the same diagnosis. The diagnosis from them was all different. Unprofessional. Plus, rude staff. The tech was going to give me feedback, but still no calls from her. I won’t take any of my cats anymore.
Experiencia fantástica: Thank you Dr. Bowens and staff at El Paso Emergency Animal Center for such wonderful care! Last year one of our furbabie's pupils became completely dilated and we knew this was potentially a very serious issue. Our vet referred us to an eye specialist and was tested for some of the possible causes. When none pointed to issue we were then referred to a neurologist, Dr. Bowens. We had no idea our city had this outstanding specialist! We brought our sweetheart to him, tests were run, and we had a diagnosis. It was a heartbreaking one but she was put on immediate treatment. Dr. Bowens was straightforward with his explanations and was also very kind and considerate. Under Dr. Bowens's care she has continued to remain with us for nine months now. She is a senior dog at 14 yrs. old, still very active, and full of life and love. We're so grateful we didn't have to travel for hours to receive such great care. She recently was showing some possible progression of issue. Although I understand and accept the reality of her age and situation, she still shows us she's not ready to stop enjoying life while bringing us joy and love. Dr. Bowens modified her treatment and we will go forward with this amazing little creature for as long as we are still Blessed to have her in our lives.
Experiencia fantástica: What a wonderful place to have in a pet emergency! They helped save my baby! Thank you to the kind Vet and staff of the emergency center for taking such good care of us in our hour of need. Everyone had a smile for us and we won't forget your kindness.
Thank you for the 5-star rating! We are so happy we could help your fur baby feel better! We hope you never have to go through another emergency situation, but we will be here if you ever need our help!
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: They were great. My stupid cat ate about 4 feet of string. We rushed him to the hospital. We thought he was dead for sure, so we were an emotional mess. They took his to the back with in minutes or arriving to check him. 30-40 minutes later the doctor had a game plan and reassured us without over promising. We were lucky and they got the string out. Here he is one week later living his best life, the bastard.
Experiencia fantástica: Bit of a wait time if your pet doesnt have a visible emergency but once its your turn they do an amazing job at giving you a diagnostic and quote for services quickly. They let me know when my dog was out of surgery at 3am which I truly appreciated, and they kept me updated in her (dog's) recovery Staff is very friendly and I was able to visit my dog at pretty much any time.
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had to take my baby there a few times since the beginning of the year. The last visit unfortunately being when I had to make the extremely difficult and heart wrenching decision to euthanize her as her prognosis had gotten worse. Despite this being not at all the place I wanted to take my baby in her last moments, Joe and Dr. Rogers made it the most ideal and peaceful passing that my baby could have had. Joe was extremely empathetic and was so gracious in making sure my last moments with Mimi were honored and sacred. We made the room dark and Dr. Rogers did the sedation and euthanasia while sitting infront of me so I didn’t need to keep my baby out of my arms. This was the worst day of my life but having their compassion made me feel more at ease even if my world was falling apart. I work in a hospital setting alongside nurses and doctors and I can tell when someone truly cares for their patients. Joe and Dr. Rogers embody compassionate patient care. I have wanted to write them a note to personally thank them but I just wanted to let you guys know through here. - Denisse (Mimi’s mom)
Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt reflection. We are deeply sorry for the loss of Mimi. It means a great deal to hear that our team was able to provide compassion, gentleness, and peace during such a difficult moment, and that your time with Mimi was honored the way it should be. We will be sure to share your words with them.
Experiencia fantástica: Dr DeMarco was prompt and efficient for my dog’s unexpected discomfort. Her eye was retracted and is slowly getting back to normal after a couple days of the care and meds that were ordered.
Thank you, Tiffany for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are so happy to hear our staff was able to give you peace of mind in your time of need. If you need anything in the future, please let us know!
Thank you,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: Extremely kind and patient staff. We had an emergency late at night—around 2 AM—and they still took the time to explain to us a lot of the process when we asked. The place was quiet, calm, and clean.
Madison, we’re grateful for your 5-star feedback. Emergency visits are never easy, and we’re glad we could help your pet feel better. If you ever need us again, our doors are open.
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: Brought in my Miniature Dachshund Khloe and was helped immediately. She was shaking uncontrollably and was seen right away. My baby is back home and doing so much better. She gave me a huge scare but El Paso Animal Emergency Center helped her feel better. Thank you for your help and immediate attention to my furbaby.
Cesar, thank you for the 5-star rating! We are so happy we could help your fur baby feel better! We hope you never have to go through another emergency situation, but we will be here if you ever need our help!

El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: Very caring and loving towards our baby Sydney during our visit! Dr. Bowen called us himself to let us know results of the MRI and spinal tab tests. Appreciate the personal attention.
Thank you for such kind words, Gabe! Your pet’s well-being is our highest priority, and we're glad to hear that you had such a positive experience with us at El Paso Animal Emergency Center. We’re here for you whenever you need us.
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Flores is top notch. She was very professional, took noes and explained everything. Long drive from Las Cruces but worth it. We highly recommend it.
We can’t thank you enough for your 5-star review, Harold! Your support and feedback motivate us to keep delivering the best care possible. We’re grateful for your trust in El Paso Animal Emergency Center, and we’ll be here whenever you and your pet need us!
Experiencia fantástica: I had to take my 9 yr old german shepherd because her back legs quit working and a stomach bleed. They got me in right away and kept me updated all the time even throughout the night. Unfortunately it wasnt fixable but even with the after care they were very helpful and caring. I live 3 hrs away and wouldn't think twice about taking another pet there if needed
Thank you for trusting us, and we’re so sorry for what you went through. We’re glad our team could be there to support you, keep you informed, and care for her with compassion. Your kind words mean so much to us, and we truly appreciate you making the long drive to be with us during such a difficult time.
Experiencia negativa: Had to bring in our 9month kitty at 10pm from Cruces on Saturday, female staff was very kind and friendly but male staff was rude and inconsiderate. We were saying our goodbyes to our sweet boy and the male tech could be heard loudly through the door saying “its just a dead cat.” Please reprimand this employee as he shouldn’t be working for this location if he has no empathy or sympathy towards the frantic and stressed pet parents coming in. There’s no excuse for that behavior or comment and it severely ruined our night on top of having to come to terms with having to put down our baby kitty.
We are truly sorry for the loss of your kitten. Please know we take your feedback seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly. If you are willing, our practice manager would like to listen and better understand what happened so we can address your concerns.
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bowens and his neurosurgery team gave my 6 year old Corgi the ability to walk again! My family and I are eternally thankful for the skill and expertise that helped our puppy ( they’re all puppies). Over a period of 2 days, our puppy was showing signs of weak hind legs until he stopped standing/walking all together. It broke our hearts. Our vet determined that he had a ruptured disc which was too severe. He would need a neurologist. She recommended Dr. Bowens. We went straight to the emergency hospital from her office. After conducting some physical tests, Dr. Bowens said he may be able to get our puppy to about 70% mobility. We paid $10,000 and left our puppy for 3 days. We were allowed to visit as long as we called ahead to make sure it wasn’t too busy. We visited the day after the surgery. The wait took longer than expected (3 hours) because they forgot we were there to visit. Throughout his time there, the technicians would call with updates which made us feel at ease to know he was in good hands. The surgery went well and we received a refund of $2,000 because it didn’t require more than expected. Post-op was a bit messy. We had to confine our puppy to his kennel, give him medication and help him urinate by applying pressure on his belly. He had lots of accidents in his kennel because he couldn’t control his lower extremities. But it was all worth it; within a week he was attempting to walk. It took some time to regain his strength but he’s a determined pup and started running again. Dr. Bowens did wonders for our pup because I can confidently say that he’s at 95% mobility! He’s eager to play fetch again and mad we don’t throw his toys further like before. You can definitely trust Dr. Bowens and his team.
Experiencia fantástica: Puder was brought in and diagnosed quickly. We received a quote for the procedure to help Puder and we agreed to it. The operation occurred that night and it was communicated to us that it was successful. He has been recuperating for two weeks now and is getting around fabulously! Thank you so much for healing our beloved Puder!
Thank you, Steve for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are so happy to hear our staff was able to give you peace of mind in your time of need. If you need anything in the future, please let us know!
Thank you,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: DO NOT COME HERE !!! IM TELLING YOU YOU WOULD BE BETTER WITH A VET MAKE SURE THEY HAVE ALL EQUIPMENT BECAUSE HERE THEY DO NOT CARE AND TAKE UR MONEY IN 1000s your better off somewhere (TLC Animal Hospital) unless its a emergency over the weekend EMERGENCY as life threatening then transfer them to another vet that has all equipment you need for ur pet and actually cares for your baby’s, not only is it outdated, and non organized , when u go visit ur baby in the back everyone is mugging you, I got quote 4000 here and they will tell u they need to say over night! So you end up paying more, I would 1000% recommend TLC animal hospital so informative and they care for ur baby’s by check everything!!And less then half of what they were charging me here , Joe and Becky are amazing here genuine people that’s the good part of it.
Experiencia positiva: Overall, the care was wonderful. The doctors involved were great. However the wait was long. The tech giving us discharge instructions was talking fast and seemed to be in a hurry. We slowed him down and he responded accordingly.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us!
Experiencia negativa: They over charge you for everything. The staff is rude. I brought my animal to an animal emergency hospital for a reason and they just let him to die in the waiting room. Waited 5 hours to be seen.
We are so sorry for your loss and for the experience you described. We’re truly sorry that you felt dismissed during such a critical moment. We would like the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand what happened and address your concerns. Please contact our hospital at your convenience and ask to speak with our practice manager.
Experiencia fantástica: First and foremost, THANK YOU EL PASO ANIMAL EMERGENCY CENTER!! They literally saved my 5 month old kitten from dying! I know everyone has a different experience and there’s other bad reviews, but my most recent visit about a week or so ago was truly amazing! The staff were so nice, caring, and understanding. We brought our kitten in from our local vet because he was in severe kidney failure. Literally dying! Many thought he wouldn’t survive the night, but he pushed through and survived and is doing so much better! They cared for him and kept us updated throughout the night. All of the doctor’s and vet techs who cared for him were amazing as well!! Thankfully he only had to be there for two nights, but we truly believe if it wasn’t for their active care, as well as our prayers, he wouldn’t be with us today. He’s truly a walking miracle. THANK YOU GOD! The cost is of course, pretty costly, but that’s expected of an emergency hospital. However, they do try to work with you. Still, I will always forever now tell his story because he’s our miracle baby. So thank you all again! Mr. Oliver lives and thrives because of you! I will share a picture of him before when he was in the hospital, and how he is now. His sister is so happy to have him back home!
Experiencia fantástica: The staff is very professional, helpful, and understanding. Wish I could have met them under different circumstances but I really do appreciate how nice they were to me and my boy in his last moments
Thank you for your kind words, and we’re so sorry for your loss. Your trust means a great deal to our team, and our thoughts are with you.
Experiencia fantástica: I had two dogs end up at the Emergency Center in El Paso. They were wonderful to deal with and promt with their care and attention to a very serious issue affecting both dogs. They put me at ease and were very confident in their care and treatment plan, which was very comforting. Both dogs are home doing very well and I am so thankful to the El Paso Emergency Animal Center and for an option for Emergency Care close to Las Cruces.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service and staff! Truly care about the well being of your pet If they weren’t an emergency clinic, I would have them as my primary vet ! Can’t say enough good things about them!
Hi, Don. Thank you for your rating! We are so thankful to be able to treat such grateful and amazing clients! We absolutely love what we do and are so glad we could be there for you when you needed us!
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia positiva: Great place, everyone was nice there. The only issue I had was that I was left in a room for a couple of hours. The Vet explained that there was a couple of emergencies that happened and they had to take them before my dog. I totally understand that, it’s an ER, but a heads up would have been nice.
Thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback.
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: Brought my Blue in right after Christmas because she was eating Christmas lights. They examined her and found no lacerations from the bulbs in her mouth (Fortunately they weren't plugged in) they prescribed some medicine to coat her stomach and intestines. The vet tech was super nice and very helpful. She answered all my questions and took hood care of my dog. Almost 3 weeks later and she's doing great. Back to her old self.
Experiencia fantástica: In December, I brought my 16-year-old Lab/pit mix in. Unfortunately, there was no cure, and we had to euthanise him. I felt the compassion of the staff and Dr. every step of the way. Shortly after Christmas, I returned with my Blue Heeler, who was having seizures. She stayed overnight, and while I missed her terribly, I knew she was in good hands. The staff kept me updated throughout her stay and stabilized her with medication so that I could take her to her regular vet. I will always choose El Paso Animal Emergency Center and highly recommend it.
Thank you for trusting us with both of your dogs during such emotional moments. We’re so sorry for the loss of your senior pup and honored to have supported you through that goodbye. We’re also glad we could be there for your Blue Heeler, keep her comfortable, and help get her stable so she could return home and continue care with her regular vet. Your kind words mean a great deal to our team, and we truly appreciate the recommendation.
Experiencia fantástica: Our baby girl was not using her legs… we were super concerned and had no choice but look for an animal ER. We found the El Paso Animal Emergency Center. The staff and Dr. took us in. Analyzed our baby and we’re so loving and helpful. I am so happy we have a hospital and Dr who care for our furry friends. Do not be overwhelmed by the wait time, they take every pet in and analyze them with expertise and love. Thank you all .
Experiencia fantástica: We so appreciate the concern and special care given for Mindy! You all literally saved her life and gave us more time to enjoy her companionship! Our heartfelt thanks! Joanne and Rich Ferrary
Joanne, thank you for the 5-star rating! We are so happy we could help your fur baby feel better! We hope you never have to go through another emergency situation, but we will be here if you ever need our help!

Experiencia fantástica: My French bulldog needed spinal surgery, Dr Bowens did an amazing job, after 4 to 6 weeks my frenchie is back to her normal self.
Thank you for the 5-star rating, Charlie! Your trust in our care means everything to us. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service every time we bring our 4 legged babies. My husband is a traveling ER physician in Texas; your ER has the same spirit of excellence but for animals. We especially appreciate how caring you were with our 13 year old pug “Faith”. Thank you!
Thank you for the 5-star rating, Maruyi! Your trust in our care means everything to us. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you for taking such good care of my dog, Murray. He was poisoned, but today he is doing great.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so grateful to the emergency vet team for taking such wonderful care of my sick chihuahua. From the moment we arrived, they were kind, patient, and compassionate. They explained everything clearly and treated my baby like their own. Thank you for your professionalism and genuine care during a very stressful time.
Experiencia fantástica: Great doctors and staff. Our dog was having tremors and Dr. Bowens came up with an effective treatment plan. Thank you for your kindness and care for our beloved fur babies.
Kristine, thank you for the 5-star rating! We appreciate you choosing us! If there is anything else we can do to help please let us know!

Experiencia negativa: We left my dog at 3 am then when we came back later at around 8 pm the only improvement was that she no longer had a fever. There is no accountability for who did or didn’t do what they were supposed to. One dr would blame something on another dr. When asking techs for updates no one knew what was going on with my dog. The drs said they believed she may have had an infection yet no one gave her antibiotics. I was asked to try to go feed her but when I showed up at the time the dr asked I waited 2 hours and still was not able to go in and feed her then come to find out she hadn’t even been given her anti nausea medication so that she could eat. So I left and called to get an update an hour later and finally she had been given her medicine so I went in to feed her but then again when we asked what was going on, no one knew. We were then told to wait for a dr who then AGAIN suggested we see a neurologist when they believed it was an inner ear infection but yet had still not administered antibiotics. We finally just asked if they would send us home with antibiotics and some anti nausea medication at which time they agreed. We paid $1200 for not even 24hrs and just for some fluids and pain meds.
We apologize for the communication breakdown and treatment delays you experienced. We understand your frustration. Please call (915) 545-1148 to discuss this matter.
Experiencia positiva: Only real issue was the ridiculously long wait time and unclear communication from staff. I understand wait time is more to do with other emergencies that have higher priority but its still extremely disheartening to wait so painfully long; we went in before midnight and left at almost 5am. Staff did not clearly communicate, causing me to have several questions, that ultimately caused another 2 hour wait while they got back to me. We honesly could have been home at least two hours earlier if they had a staff member that focused on the lower priorities. Reasonable prices considering its emergency and overnight. I appreciate the due diligence on letting me know the potential CPR cost, and I super appreciate the front staff who made sure I was in before midnight when the price jumps.
We take your feedback seriously about wait times and communication. We appreciate your understanding of emergency priorities and value your patience during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing this feedback.
Experiencia fantástica: I've unfortunately had to go several times for different animals, different cases. Each time they've been so kind and informative. The staff and vets have always been superior and amazing. They face so many challenges I feel bad for them, I also feel for the pet owners. Thank you for all you do!!!!
Thank you for sharing your experience and your kind words about our staff.
Experiencia fantástica: I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to the wonderful staff and veterinarians at the El Paso Animal Emergency Center. My partner and I made the shared decision prior to the holiday break to leave our baby with our wonderful cat sitter while we were out of state. Who would've thought that our cat would get super sick right before New Year's. He started having respiratory distress and refused his food. Our cat sitter immediately took him over to El Paso to the Animal Emergency Center since there were no services open in Las Cruces on New Year's. Long story short, our baby was dealing with cellulitis (likely from a healed wound that was never noticed before) on top of asthma that was never diagnosed. The animal hospital took excellent care of him from the moment he was evaluated to the second he was discharged. The Emergency Center kept us all updated multiple times a day, was very transparent with the financial cost, and explained things very clearly. The 3 vets that cared for him (Dr. Flores, Dr. Demarco, and Dr. Clement) were excellent. The staff was kind and patient. If you ever need excellent care for your furry companions, I'd recommend this hospital.
Experiencia fantástica: Went in with worries for my dog, staff was very understanding and quick to attend to me. Aside the worries I felt for my dog, I left there feeling appreciative of the staff and dr for being able to help.
Thank you for trusting us with your dog's care. We're grateful our staff and doctor could help ease your worries.
Experiencia fantástica: We are very blessed to have found this animal hospital and Dr. Bowen. Our dog suddenly became paralyzed due to IVDD, and we were losing hope that he would ever walk again. With their compassionate care and Dr. Bowen’s expertise, he was up and walking within a week of surgery. As he continues to recover, they have been there every step of the way, answering every question we have. We are incredibly grateful for everything they have done for our handsome pup.
Thank you immensely for trusting our team with your pup's care. We're grateful to have helped him walk again. We are glad to hear he is recovering well!
Experiencia fantástica: Took My Baby Bully here when he decided to eat something he wasn’t supposed to! Staff was successful in getting it out!! Definitely recommend El Paso , great care for your baby !
Your positive feedback means everything to us. So glad we could help your pet and that you recommend our care.
Experiencia fantástica: Unfortunately, I had to bring my baby girl in for sudden on set seizures. The wait was long, but I don’t see that as a bad thing, to me it says that many people trust EP Animal Emergency. My baby had to stay the night and the staff did exactly what they said, keeping me up to date throughout her entire stay! I am extremely appreciative of the staff. My hope is not to be back for a long time, but I would not hesitate to return if needed.
We are privileged to care for your pet during such a frightening experience. Thank you for your trust and understanding.
Experiencia negativa: Came to this location 12/25 after I went to West location first. Took my 13 year yorkie for heavy breathing and panting in the evening. They did bloodwork and X-ray at West location first. Dr. Shelby Mobley saw her at West first. She couldn’t really give a diagnosis other than possible slight chance of fluid around lung but she was on fence about it, medication would be optional. She sent me home around 7:00 pm charged me almost $800. Came back home to Las Cruces and dog became worse with the panting and I made the decision to go to other location across town known as Airway location (where they don’t have access to any tests done at West) and upon arrival her heart stopped and they brought her back and put her with oxygen for 24 hrs and fudemoside for her heart and didn’t do anymore bloodwork or imaging until the following night around 10:00 pm almost 24 hrs and when they finally did X-ray 40 mins later Dr. called to tell me she died. This cost me $2300 when I brought her in and that’s what I was told had to be paid immediately. The west side location Dr. Mobley NEVER told me “I am not sure what’s going on with your dog she’s in distress I’m calling other location take her there she needs to be seen, not taken home, your from Las Cruces and there isn’t anything I can do at this location because I am not equipped” she SHOULD have. Instead they send you back home with pet so they can get worse and than have to go somewhere else pay more money just to die. This location on Airway gets too many patients and the care the animals get is compromised because there is so much of a need and building and staff isn’t capable to provide high level of care because of the amount of patients that go in. They get forgotten about because they are so busy and do tests after doctors leave and new ones come for shift change like mine almost 24 hours later!!!!! You pay money immediately and when you go asking to check in on your pet they make you wait hours to spend 3 minutes with your pet. The office lady with bright eyeshadow is RUDE as well when you ask to see your pet that you just dropped $3k in services for at combined locations. The photo I’ve attached is what you get in the end because they don’t have the staff for the amount of dogs they get, it’s all about $$$$$$ making and don’t treat for a condition that she may have had and just deal with too many patients. Also, after you feel like they didn’t do what they could for your pet and pay $3k and get told what do you want me to do with fog, you drive there a hour to get your baby and they meet you on the side of the building ghetto like and hand you body bag with some sentiments. I’m sorry but my animal was my family not a dog!!!! I just find this not compassionate!
We take your feedback seriously. We deeply apologize for your loss and the care concerns. Please contact (915) 545-1148 to discuss further.
Experiencia fantástica: Very attentive to the our emergency needs. Our Shitzu got into a package of Hershey’s kisses that my son accidentally left on the couch Christmas Day. When we got home from a Christmas gathering, there we foil wrappers all over the floor. Naturally, I panicked, and rushed her to the El Paso Animal Emergency Center. When we arrived, they took her immediately to the back and induced vomiting. Ultimately everything turned out for the good. My dog is still with us because of the staff at the hospital. I highly recommend them if you are ever in need of their services. Thank you
Experiencia fantástica: My baby was poop out blood and money was tight they understand try everything they could make it easier for me im beyond greatful alot vet don't make easier and they did everything they could to help my baby doing well and happy again thank you , my niko is beyond happy for all your help
Experiencia fantástica: My boy Hercules got very sick throwing up so much and i brought him in I just want to say the staff was so friendly. Becky at the front is amazing you can tell she loves her job. she knew exactly how my boy was behaving with the staff when I came in to pick him up during his overnight stay (a good boy as always) so that just shows she cares about the animals a lot to check on them when shes stationed at the desk not even the back with the animals. There was another sweet young woman who went to the back to take pictures of him for me off her phone when i came to visit him in the night and they were too busy for a visit. I appreciated that a lot. Thank you so much!
Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was helpful and compassionate. It was a plus that the vet had wolfhound experience. They caught the pneumonia in time, and he's doing just fine. Everyone loved on my big boy so he felt like this was just the standard "love on O'Maille " visit. I highly recommend them.
Experiencia fantástica: We took our English bulldog in because he recently suffered from a “prolapsed urethra” - LOTS of blood coming out of his winky! My husband & I were very worried, especially with all the blood. Thankfully, Jo at the front desk consulted with the kind vet on duty that day. They told us with a quick look at Meatball that it wasn’t serious but would need an operation SOON. It’s a pricey operation & this is just days before Christmas. Jo told us to try a vet that used to work with their clinic and now has his own on the East side. My husband & me truly appreciate the kind consideration the vet & Jo provided us considering our concern for Meatball, the timing (close to Christmas) & the cost! Thank you for helping us!
Experiencia fantástica: Of course, it never fails that my Yorkie got sick in the wee hours of the morning. I was attended to as soon as I arrived, and although I expected to wait for results, it was quickly determined that he had a ruptured abscess—something that sounded much worse than I initially thought. Within an hour, I was headed home with clear instructions and medication. Thank you all for taking such great care of my Yorkie. It is truly appreciated.
Sandra, thank you for the 5-star rating! We appreciate you choosing us! If there is anything else we can do to help please let us know!
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: Update: We got a new puppy, and one day out of the blue he did not want to eat or do much of anything else. I rushed him to El Paso Animal Emergency Center. He had a high fever and many other signs and symptoms of Parvo. El Paso Animal Emergency Center’s vets, vet techs, and all staff were wonderful in treating my puppy! They constantly monitored him, giving fluids and antibiotics as prescribed. Our new puppy got to go home and is doing well! Thank you to everyone at El Paso Animal Emergency for the compassion and care! This emergency vet is great. They took care of my dog that ate a silicone hard plastic cooking/serving spoon. I didn’t have to wait in my car for hours to be seen. It did take some time for x-ray results, but that is because they had more critical patients other than my spoon eater (which is fine now) and they have a radiologist also read the films. They gave the same compassion and care to him as they would any other dog in any other situation. Great caring doctors and staff. Be patient, emergencies can happen and be fearful. You are in good hands here.
Experiencia positiva: I had to bring my 3-month-old puppy here in the middle of the night after he threw up several rocks (which I had no idea he’d eaten). From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptional. They handled the situation with so much care, compassion, and professionalism that it immediately helped ease my panic. They kept my pup for about six hours for monitoring and treatment, and he went home feeling (almost) as good as new. They were fully prepared to perform surgery if necessary, and I felt confident he was in capable hands the entire time. Thankfully, it didn’t come to that. I was very nervous heading to an emergency clinic so late at night, but their security measures made me feel safe. The front door stays locked overnight, and staff let clients in as they arrive. The only downside is that although they can take X-rays on site, they do not have a radiologist in-house. Because of that, it took about an hour after imaging to receive feedback from an outsourced radiologist.
Paige, thank you for your review! We are so happy we could help your fur baby feel better! We hope you never have to go through another emergency situation, but we will be here if you ever need our help!
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia fantástica: The first time I sought out the services of El Paso Animal Emergency Center last month is sadly when my 16 year old Chihuahua's time was coming to an end. They were very kind and promptly provided service when I brought my pet in. They talked me through the options and described the benefits and downsides of both options. They were very gentle and kind throughout the whole process and helped my baby go in peace. Just the other day one of my other babies got injured and I brought her in to make sure everything was alright. Wait times were long, but that's expected when the issue isn't life or death and many animals are being brought in with more serious injuries. Even then we were still treated with the upmost care and they answered my questions thoroughly. My pet was treated very well, especially considering how anxious she was in the moment. I would absolutely recommend you bring your pet to this facility for any emergencies as they provide the upmost compassionate care.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so sorry for the loss of your sweet dog and honored that you trusted us to care for them in their final moments. It also means a great deal to hear that your other pet was treated with patience and compassion during a stressful visit. Your understanding and kind words truly mean a lot to our team. We’re grateful for your trust and are always here when you need us.
Experiencia fantástica: I live in Las Cruces and had to bring my sweet boy, Pepe, to this emergency vet last night. For a month, we've thought he just needed dental surgery to remove his one last fang, as he has FIV. He was scheduled for surgery this Thursday at Animal Hospital of Las Cruces. I made multiple phone calls and visits to them and they kept assuming it was just his tooth that needed removed. I couldn't get pain medication in him by putting in his food or putting in his mouth, so he was really suffering. However, his condition worsened so we took him back to our vet once i told them the pain injection he got didn't really help him. They said he had a pleural effusion and to get him emergency care. This emergency vet was wonderful. They took an ultrasound of his chest and found a mass. Pepe rescued ME when we were living in El Paso waiting to move to Las Cruces. I was going thru chemo and radiation and Pepe was truly a Godsend to me. He showed up at our apartment and I fell in love with him. I had to say goodbye to him last night and the staff and doctor were very compassionate and understanding. I would recommend this service and El Paso should feel fortunate to have them as we don't have a full time emergency vet in Las Cruces. I'm very disappointed with our vet in Las Cruces. We did not expect to lose this beautiful, sweet boy over "just a tooth"!! We are devastated!
Experiencia fantástica: A week has passed and the shock of losing my companion of 11 years has finally worn away. We ran into the Emergency Vet at 11:11pm on 11/25. With my dog already unconscious and unresponsive. The staff here were absolutely incredible with my boy. They were compassionate. Caring. Gentle. And attentive. I can’t thank you enough for your kindness that evening. This night changed my life. And I’ll forever be thankful for every single person who was there that evening to help me. I’ll never forget you all. Thank you.
We’re so sorry for your loss. Losing a beloved companion is incredibly hard, and we’re honored to have been there to support you and your dog during that night. Thank you for trusting us, and for your kind words about our team.
Experiencia fantástica: The entire staff took excellent care of our baby. The doctor took her time to explain her diagnosis and answer all of our questions. It was great experience from start to finish.
Thank you for the 5-star rating, Haydee! Your trust in our care means everything to us. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know!
Thanks,
El Paso Animal Emergency Center
Experiencia negativa: If I could, I would give ZERO stars. We have a dog with known epileptic seizures and have visited this location many times. We have seen the neurologist, Dr. Bowens, who is a very good neurologist, and the normal daily receptionist Becky is also very nice, but neither were there. However, what happened this weekend was completely unacceptable. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, our dog began having seizures, so we took him to the ER for relief. On Friday, everything went smoothly—they took him in, already knew his medical history, and recommended overnight observation. We agreed that was a good idea. Later that night, I called for an update and was told there were no issues or seizures, just that he was barking a lot, which is normal for him. On Saturday morning, I called at 8:45 a.m. for an update on his status and was told they would call me back. After waiting, I called again at 10:45 a.m. and got the same response. At 12:15 p.m., we went to the clinic in person. We waited until 1:15 p.m. just to get into a room to see our dog and hoped to get an update or take him home. When we finally saw him, it was clear something was wrong. His IVs had been removed, and he did not seem like himself. We waited until 2:15 p.m. for a vet to speak with us, but no one came. We decided that the wait was too long and that we could take him home and manage his medications ourselves if needed. When we told the receptionist, Jo, that we were leaving, she responded with an attitude and seemed upset that we were leaving without speaking to the vet. We continued waiting until about 2:35 p.m., with still no one coming into the room. I went back to the front desk and told her we were leaving and needed our dog’s medication—the same medication we brought from home on Friday so the vet would have it available. Around 2:50 p.m., the receptionist came into the room, slammed papers down on the table, and said we had an outstanding balance—even though we had already paid over $500 the day before. I told her I was not paying anything else and simply wanted our dog's medications back. She then began to argue with us about a signature in dinner papers that she had, I told her again that I was not going to sign anything or pay anything more, to just give me the medications and we will be in our way. I went and retrieved the bag from the receptionist desk, and was told it contained his meds. We left. When we arrived home, we realized one medication bottle was missing. We called the office and were hung up on multiple times. My son went to the clinic in person to retrieve the missing medication bottle. Once he returned, we called again to find out what medications our dog was actually given while he was there. We were told he only received phenobarbital. Yet on Friday, I clearly informed them that he takes Keppra 1500 mg twice daily, phenobarbital 129.6 mg twice daily, and zonisamide 600 mg twice daily. They failed to give him his medications Friday night and Saturday morning. This is unacceptable. Because of this, my epileptic dog came home and immediately began having seizures again. No surprise—he had been without his essential medications. After a long Saturday night, I was finally able to get his seizures under control, but this entire situation should never have happened.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry that you left feeling unsupported. Your feedback has been shared with our management team. We’re glad your dog is back home and stabilized, and we hope he’s resting comfortably.
Experiencia positiva: Yesterday, we had a scheduled procedure at the hospital. We were told to drop off our pet in the morning and pick her up about 5. When we arrived to drop off, we waited over an hour just to drop our pet off. We were told they would call us when she was ready. At 5:30 I called. I was told that they had to call the tech to return and it would be 7:30 before she would be ready. We picked her up at 8 pm. Where's the customer service. We are not returning.
Thank you for such kind words, Ken! Your pet’s well-being is our highest priority, and knowing that you had such a positive experience with us at El Paso Animal Emergency Center brings us so much joy. We’re here for you and your pet.
Experiencia fantástica: After I had to put my Husky down in May there, they are my choice for anything I need. They are compassionate, humble, and knowledgeable. They speak the right way to grieving families, comfort you when needed, and high level professional at all times. Thank you for everything!
Thank you for sharing your kind words. We’re honored to have been there for you and your dog, and it means so much to know our team could offer comfort and support during such a difficult time.
Experiencia fantástica: The entire team helped me today with my one week puppy. From the time I walked into the clinic, the team was focused on my fur-baby and did everything possible to make her comfortable. I had to make the most difficult decision to put her to sleep and the team was great in helping me to get through this most tragic situation. I would definitely recommend this clinic if you need help with your pet. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
We’re so sorry for your loss. It means a lot to hear that our team could support you and provide comfort during such a heartbreaking time with your puppy.
Experiencia negativa: Waited almost 5 hours. Multiple people left because they weren’t attended or keeled getting skipped. They told us they would get in pets depending on the emergency, which I understand in extreme cases. 2 dogs that looked completely fine walking around were brought in less than 30 minutes. Another 2 seemed in a lot pain, vomiting and crying and still we’re waiting for like 3 hours. Don’t come here unless you want to wasted your time!
Dara, we're very sorry to hear of your experience. Providing quality care to all our pet patients is our greatest priority, and we’re sorry to hear we missed the mark during your visit to El Paso Animal Emergency Center. Unfortunately, wait times can vary in emergency situations. Please contact us directly at your convenience and ask to speak with our Practice Manager.
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve taken several pets to EP Animal Emergency before, and I’ve been very happy with their care of my pets. My cat Henry has urinary issues and he was having problems this past weekend. He had an appointment on Monday, but Saturday night he seemed agitated and struggling to urinate. I took him in to EP Animal Emergency around midnight, and didn’t have to wait long to see someone. Staff there are courteous and cheerful, even at that hour of the night. We saw the vet after a while and she understood we were just trying to keep him calm and comfortable till we could het him to his vet Monday morning. A special shout out to Joe, who spoke with us several times and kept us informed of Henry’s progress. He explained everything and we made some decisions. Later, when we were ready to take Henry home, Joe went over everything we needed to know about what had been done and what we should do going forward, what medicines we were being given, and he even shared an awesome method of giving a cat medicine with a syringe! He was very professional and we felt he took really good care of us. Thank you to Joe and the rest of the staff. You’re always there when we need you!!!
Experiencia negativa: It to ok a long time to get seen by the doctor. She seemed nice and knowledgeable, but the cost proposed was ridiculous! My puppy, only about 13 weeks old died that night. I cried a lot the next day.
Experiencia fantástica: They were very kind and respectful. towards my Ranger . The only thing I would change would be the outcome but that wasn’t in the cards . They put my baby in a body bag and had me drive around to pick his body up. They made me a paw print mold and that meant the world to me . They showed respect to my baby by doing this and not making me walk through the main doors with my baby’s body. I would like to warn people the dangers of foxtails and how they can kill your fur babies Please watch for them . They stuck on ur dogs fur they can and will enter the ear and move down out of sight, cause an infection that spreads to the brain and it’s to late , Why don’t vets warn people about these outside dangers that are everywhere.. for my baby Ranger plz watch for foxtails maybe my baby can save a life by me warning people… RIP my Ranger definitely my hardest goodbye
Thank you for sharing this, and we're so sorry for the loss of your sweet Ranger. We’re grateful we could give you a little comfort during such a heartbreaking moment, and it means a lot that the paw print and the care shown to him brought some peace on such a hard day. Our hearts are with you.
Experiencia fantástica: Took my dog in the middle of the night with sneezing allergies. The gentleman in the front asked relevant questions and quickly took him in. The doctor checked him quickly and we were out in a flash. Was very impressed with their response. I have nothing but praise for this emergency care center! Would recommend them to friends and family! Thanks guys! Percy was well taken care of this morning!
Thank you for the positive review, Dan! We loved taking care of your pet and are so happy that you felt well cared for at El Paso Animal Emergency Center. If you ever need anything, even just advice on pet health, don’t hesitate to get in touch—we’re always here for you!
Experiencia positiva: We appreciate the time and care of our dog during his visit. We were pleasantly surprised to see an empty waiting area when we arrived. The check-in process went smoothly and we were shown to an evaluation room within about 30 minutes of our arrival. Of course we were given the most expensive treatment options at the beginning, but we ultimately received only what was necessary after a discussion with the Vet. The total time spent was over three hours. This would be our only issue. Everything else was as expected and our fur baby is feeling better! We would recommend this location for an emergency issue with your pet.
Hi, Crystal. Thank you for your positive review! We are so thankful to be able to treat such grateful and amazing clients! We absolutely love what we do and are so glad we could be there for you when you needed us!
Thanks,

Experiencia negativa: I warn pup parents if you have an emergency DO NOT bring your fur babies here. I'd post a Negative star if it was available. I took in my sick pup on Friday morning to be seen she was unresponsive. The intake girl was yawning while explaining cost, I paid $265 just to get her checked and signed a form where if CPR is necessary it's an additional $500 per revival effort. We were then taken to a room where at least 45 mins passed and no one came in to check on her. I go ask what's keeping them from checking on my baby. She then informs me that there's shift change and rounds and will be another good while before someone can even come check in. I was thrown back, I couldn't believe it. If you have time to waste while your fur babies are sick this will be the place to go!
We’re truly sorry for what you experienced and for the concern you felt while waiting with your pup. Emergencies can be overwhelming. Your feedback is very important, and we’d appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to learn more and see how we can make things right.
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff, took good care of my baby girl . I was very comfortable with the cost. Sophy is doing great✝️❤️
Thank you for such kind words, Elizabeth! Your pet’s well-being is our highest priority, and knowing that you had such a positive experience with us at El Paso Animal Emergency Center brings us so much joy. We’re here for you and your pet.
Experiencia fantástica: The most kind and understanding people I’ve ever met work here! It was comforting to be treated with equal amounts of empathy and respect while also seeing the staff work together with care and compassion for each other. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me the resources and options to make sure I was making the smartest decision not only for the animals health, but also gave me options that saved money without having to sacrifice quality of care. They worked efficiently and I was in and out within 2 hours while Pumpkin got fluids and medication after getting into some chocolate. I hope to never *need* to come back in, but if I do I will continue to bring our animals into this clinic & recommend them wholeheartedly.
Mckenzie, your 5-star review absolutely made our day! Our team is passionate about providing top-notch care, and it means the world to know that we’ve earned your trust. We look forward to continuing to care for your furry friend with the same dedication and love!
