Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was very kind. I took my rescued kitten in to be spayed and microchipped. This veterinary office was the only one that the adoption facility worked with that the service was prepaid in the adoption cost. They were prompt and considerate of my lengthy drive there and home. I very much appreciated it. If I lived closer, this would be my permanent vet office!

Experiencia negativa: Updated review: I left there awhile ago. The staff and drs were changing, most of them were becoming very rude, snappy, short, and always irritable. Plus one of the Drs was WAY TOO YOUNG, aside from some other dismissive actions, and no real feeling of connection from the Dr or some of the newer staff a specific time I will never forget- I had brought up the fact that my cat with hyperthyroidism (which I had just found out about and didn't know much about it or what it meant) has a HUG golf ball size lump on her neck/thyroid area, and she felt it and said "oh that is a big one" but then said NOTHING else to me about it. At the time I had no idea what it is as from, if it was cancer, or I knew nothing about it, and was not reassured in any way at this vets office. I don't know what happeded over the years, but this place went way down hill since I initiated care through them first in 2020. The doctor that I had first seen in 2020, was always phenomenal. She now is in surgery almost all of the time so it was becoming very hard to get appointments with her, and I refused to see anyone else there, so that is another reason why I left. But that doctor, I forget her name, she was wonderful, caring, compassionate, and kind. She never tried to force anything on me or my animals, and always had the best interest in my cats. They use to be wonderful, kind, easy to get an appt with, gental, understanding, and a great place that I always recommend. Now I tell people to stay away. Especially because of the one very rude front staff lady (idk her name but I think she was pregnant at one point a year or two ago. She was always SO BITTER AND RUDE.) anyways, sorry for the long review. I just am sick of people and business getting away with poor attitudes or bad care. ESPECIALLY when it comes to my babies.

Experiencia negativa: This hurts my heart to leave a negative review but I have no choice. I have been going to this clinic since Dr.Davis owned it. I have continued going here once it changed hands and have always had a great experience. I’ve even recommended this vet to friends. However there is a tech here who insists on feeding the crows peanuts. It has created an enormous mess in the adjoining neighborhood and the squirrels have gotten super aggressive over these peanuts. It’s is also attracting rats to the neighborhood. My dogs are getting sick from the shells that the squirrels are leaving in our yard because my dogs are eating the discarded shells. After explaining all of this to the tech who insists she is only feeding the crows, she said she will not stop. The vet parking lot itself looks like trash with all the peanut shells there. I cannot believe the vets who own the clinic are ok with this especially once I told the tech that my dogs who are patients here were getting sick. The complete lack of professionalism and care about their patients and the neighborhood they are in is astounding. I will not be returning. I have talked to the tech who is feeding them and have asked that the clinic manager Susie call me back with no response. The tech is still throwing peanuts all over their lot. I’m fairly certain this violates county code as the rubbish is attracting vermin and I will be following up with code compliance with the county and filing a complaint since the vet office itself does not want to solve this matter civilly.
Experiencia negativa: I’m writing this with a heavy heart. I grew up going to this clinic with my childhood dog back when Dr. Davis ran it, and it was a place our family truly loved. Because of that history, I continued bringing our dog here as an adult without hesitation. For most of his life, our dog was very healthy and only needed annual checkups and vaccines. Unfortunately, at 12 years old, he has now been diagnosed with cancer and does not have much time left. This has been one of the hardest experiences our family has ever gone through. What has been most shocking and deeply disappointing is the complete lack of empathy and compassion we’ve experienced during this time from both the front desk/phone staff and the veterinarian. They have said “I’m sorry for this difficult news” one time and even then the tone, facial expression, and overall demeanor feel insincere and dismissive. When I ask questions (questions any loving pet owner would ask during end-of-life care), I’m met with annoyance. Calling the clinic feels like an inconvenience to them rather than a family seeking guidance during a devastating situation. One interaction that still deeply upsets me was a phone call that began with the vet saying, “Are we going to have trouble hearing you this time?” in a frustrated tone, referencing a previous call that dropped due to spotty cell service while I was at my daughter’s horse lesson. In that moment, I felt embarrassed, dismissed, and honestly shocked by the lack of compassion. This clinic may still provide medical services, but compassion matters, especially when families are facing the loss of a beloved pet. Unfortunately, that compassion has been entirely absent in our experience. We will not be returning, and I am incredibly sad that a clinic we once trusted and loved has changed so much.

Given your long history with our clinic, this is especially difficult to read. What you described — feeling dismissed, met with frustration, and experiencing a comment that came across as insensitive — is not acceptable and does not reflect the level of compassion we strive to provide. I understand how upsetting that must have felt, and I am truly sorry.

Experiencia fantástica: Vista Pet Hospital has been so good to our organization, Array Animal Rescue. They get us in with more than reasonable wait times, often next day! They offer a great Rescue Discount for spay and neuter procedures and the doctors are very proficient. We have never had a problem with any animal surgery performed. The staff is wonderful and great about communication, which is the thing I find hardest to come by these days with most businesses. 5 stars all around.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been taking my 2 dogs and my cat to Vista for about 3 years now. They have always been kind, patient, and caring with my pets, answering my litany of questions, and providing options for my pets care so that I feel like I'm part of the conversation. Recently, I had to say goodbye to one of my dogs and I can't commend Vista and their staff enough for helping me through that process. Their staff gave me plenty of time, space, and communication to help say goodbye to my dog and made an incredibly emotional process be as calm and comforting as possible.
Experiencia fantástica: Archer had his teeth cleaned. There was one necessary extraction. I was so grateful that dr Thompson took care and of this and a little extra at no extra cost!!! Apparently Archer was a little grumpy and difficult to work with, thank you for giving him loving care despite his hissy disposition. I ended up opting for the liquid antibiotics. This is a challenge for us all as they taste awful and Archer foams at the mouth and salivates equal to a small puke. In hindsight i would have definitely paid extra for the injection. Would have loved to know the price difference and a few key details including how the aftertaste is so pungent. I do want to report that Archer seems to be in a great mood overall (other than medication time) and is spontaneously purring like a mountain lion even when he is off lounging on his own. I think he must be feeling so much better! Thank you for the great care!!!! We appreciate Dr Thompson and the vet team!

Experiencia negativa: I left after 10 years when my cat’s ear tip was cut off during a dental procedure. There was explanation given. The ear cut was very obvious, but they flat out denied it. It was bonkers. It used to be a great clinic with some outstanding vets but they all left, one by one. I had 5 cats and a dog treated there over the years so I know both feline and canine treatment.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your concerns. After multiple conversations with you regarding your cat’s ear, we want to assure you again that we did not cut the ear during the dental procedure. We would have had no reason to do so, and we would never perform such a procedure without prior discussion and consent. The only time our clinic performs ear tipping is when working with rescue organizations for feral cats, and only when specifically requested.
We also understand your concern about staff changes. Several of our veterinarians have moved on to new opportunities in other cities and states, but we remain dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients and their families.

Experiencia fantástica: Vista Pet Hospital is a great place to take your pets! When I moved to Portland, finding a place for my dog’s vet needs was tough. But going to Vista Pet Hospital was the best choice. They have an excellent staff who keep me informed of everything that happens from general visits to when my dog goes under anesthesia for teeth cleaning. And their prices are relatively decent. They also don’t pressure you nor do they judge because sometimes, money is hard to come by. They’ll be honest with you if it’s an urgent need or if something can wait. My dog (and future pets) will be going here for as long as I can!

Experiencia negativa: Vista Pet’s office staff have mixed up their priorities. Instead of providing customer service, they bully and exploit their customers. They have held my pet’s prescription for ransom. Rather send the prescription to the pharmacy as requested or fill it, they wanted to charge an additional $25 “ service” fee and than make me wait 3-4 days.
Barbara, thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I’d like to clarify the timeline and our process regarding your pet’s medication refill request.
Your refill request was submitted over the weekend while our hospital was closed. We work hard to review and approve prescription requests as quickly as possible, but our veterinarians are actively seeing patients throughout the day, so prescription approvals are completed between appointments, similar to human medical providers.
To help accommodate urgent needs, our team has an optional expedited service to move a refill to the front of the queue. I understand this option was offered and declined.
You were contacted to confirm where you wanted the prescription sent, as we received duplicate requests through two different pharmacies. We did not hear back immediately, but once we did, our doctor finalized the request to your preferred pharmacy.

Our goal is always to ensure every pet receives needed medication in a timely and safe manner, and we appreciate your understanding of the process we follow to make that happen.
Experiencia fantástica: My sweet kitten Poots was a patient at Vista last week. Poots had a broken leg. After talking to professionals in the vet biz and getting opinions from friends and family, it was decided that amputation of her leg was the best option. My husband and I called around to get as much info as possible about this procedure and possible outcomes. During these calls, Vista was suggested a few times. We were told that they are not only compassionate, knowledgeable and incredibly skilled, but their prices are on the lower side. I was a bit worried, having always believed that you get what you pay for, but I am SO THANKFUL that we trusted the recommendations that we had received about Vista Pet Hospital. I never felt like just a number to them, even though this was my only time visiting their office (I live in Washington) and there were many pets being dropped off that morning for procedures. I was informed later that morning that Poots was last on the list to be seen that day so pickup would be a bit delayed. When her surgery was finished I got another call saying she was recovering and doing so well. When I came back to pick up Poots, a few of the staff came out to tell me how well she had done and share cute stories of their interactions with her. This made me feel good. Like Poots was really cared for all throughout the day. While paying for Poots' surgery, I asked why their prices were so reasonable. I was told that Vista wants everyone to be able to have access to the best quality services. I think this is so amazing. Thanks to Vista Pet Hospital Poots is healing AMAZINGLY!

When my beloved cat Stephen developed neuro FIP, Vista Pet Hospital did everything in their power to save him. Because of Dr. Thompson, Stephen made it to his first birthday. I sleep better at night knowing that he was given every opportunity to live, and I will cherish the extra months we were given together. Vista Pet Hospital dealt with my grief with the most empathy I have EVER received from a vet clinic. I cannot thank them enough. Now, my new kitten Roy has deformed front legs that cause him to walk on his wrists. Dr. Thompson was able to craft him some mini splints on the fly! I know that Roy will be very well taken care of here, and if he is capable of walking normally, it will be achieved!

Experiencia fantástica: Brought our dog here for the first time to establish care and have him seen for intestinal issues. They were able to fit us in within the week! We barely waited 5 minutes to be seen. Everyone there was very kind and friendly, and no one acted like they were too busy for us. I don't have a single favorite staff person to shout out because everyone there was great! The place smelled clean, and by that I mean, there wasn't really a smell at all! Most places either smell terrible or you get an overpowering smell of cleaning products, so I would say this place is allergy-friendly! The vet was very knowledgeable and did not recommend anything unnecessary at all! Our bill was much much lower than I was expecting, so I even had them double-check it! My sister's dog had a similar condition, so I was expecting many more services and treatments to be pushed on us. I cannot recommend them enough, and I am comforted knowing they will be our future care as our dog ages. - Wall-E's Mom

They ignore calls & voicemails, when they do answer, they put you on hold for ages & then disconnected you, they screwed up my billing & never refunded me, & they have attitudes when you call them out on these issues. I recently switched to a new vet & they confirmed that Dr. Ari provided inaccurate information in regards to my pets care & medications. They knowingly put my dogs health at risk…..yet they have the audacity to deny, deflect, dismiss, & blame ME for their unprofessionalism.

When she saw that they hadn’t sent out the emails (and she was wrong) she got embarrassed and hung up the phone leaving me unable to make an appointment for my pet after being put on hold on and off for 10 minutes.

Experiencia negativa: I have gone her a few times and originally thought it was great but haven’t had good experiences with them the last few times I have gone. The vet is not good at communicating and speaking with her was extremely difficult. I did the labs she recommended and it’s been 2 weeks with no call back with the results (they said it would take a few days). I left a message for them about this and also have not had an answer. I don’t think I’ll be back or at least won’t see the same vet (Jeanne smith) there.

Experiencia positiva: We've been bringing our dogs here for about five years. For years there was great service, with prompt responses. Their system of always leaving a voicemail and then getting a call back is not what I would have preferred, but responses were prompt and it worked. Something changed over the last six months or so. We have had to repeatedly request prescription refills, to the point of physically going in rather than using the system they have in place. When one dog was having urination issues, we had an extra appointment. As part of the care process we were asked to fill out a questionnaire via email. There was never any response or followup. Six weeks later we got a call asking how the issue was progressing, which coincided with no response on the most recent prescription non-response. I mentioned that we'd found a way to cope with the issue at home, but then asked if the prescription was being filled. The person said they'd check and get back to me... never did. It's sad because we really loved this place for a long time, but the change in communication has been stark. Don't know if there were changes to office management or something else, but the time has come to leave.

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t normally write reviews but my experience was too amazing not to share! My cat Riley is an older man who has always struggled with ear infections that I’ve typically been able to manage myself for the most part. A few months ago his ear drum ruptured and I was way in over my head. Dr. Thompson was absolutely amazing through the whole process-she was so caring and really made me feel so comfortable with the whole process. After trying a few different antibiotics we found the ear wasn’t making enough progress. She finally recommended we do a surgery called a TECA and admittedly I was really nervous especially with him being 16. She explained the surgery, what would be used and how Riley would be cared for. Her words really stuck with me that our goal was not just life span-but also health span and that this would be what was best for Riley in the long run. She went absolutely above and beyond and I could not be more thankful. Riley is now healed (at least stitches out today) and is so happy now- and will never have to deal with all of this again! Thank you so very much Dr. Thompson for you and all you do! You’ve done amazing work in supporting not only the pets, but the pets family as well and that is something a lot of places miss the mark on. The front desk attendants are also always helpful and courteous! We will forever trust Vista pet with our pets! Experiencia positiva: Very nice staff and we were able to get an urgent same day appointment which was so relieving. However, the vet told us our cat didn’t have tapeworm (which is why we brought him in) despite us having samples of the tapeworm segments. They did offer stool testing but I trusted the vet’s medical opinion that it “definitely” wasn’t tapeworm, so we didn’t do it. We had a check up appointment a week later with our regular vet and the vet immediately diagnosed him with tapeworm when he looked at the sample we brought (identical to the one we brought before). Luckily our cat wasn’t sick or otherwise symptomatic, but it’s gross knowing that we had little tapeworm segments all over our house because it wasn’t treated for a week. I’m not sure if the presentation of the tapeworm was just really uncommon or if it was off day, but the misdiagnosis was upsetting. We did like the kitten care handouts we were given that day though. Very helpful.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT THOROUGH, THOUGHTFUL, COMPASSIONATE, EMPATHETIC CARE! This clinic dropped the ball on our kitten, which directly almost lead to his death while costing us thousands upon thousands in ER bills. We felt like we were not heard. We had concerns about his extremely elevated breathing rate that they ignored and shrugged off as “asthma.” They even refused to do any type of imaging to ease our concerns saying that they wouldn’t do that type of imaging on a kitten. Eventually, he stopped eating and we took him to the ER and he was diagnosed with FIP. He is doing very well in his recovery now but no thanks to Vista. I could go on and on about how they completely mishandled another of our cat’s cancer diagnosis by offering no real information, comfort or empathy or how they basically ignored our dog’s ear infection by barely giving it a glance but that would be piling it on, right? Our pets are our children. Our family. Vista cares about numbers. They don’t care about what these pets mean to you or what you mean to Vista as a returning patient. We have given them business for over 3 years but no more. We will gladly pay more elsewhere for better care. I urge you to pick anywhere else unless you just have very basic needs. You will be treated like a number. The front desk staff will treat you coldly. The vets will give a half effort exam with minimal detail or care put into their follow up. They won’t even remember you or at least pretend to remember you. We tried to make these complaints to the practice manager but were IGNORED. Run away from this place. Your pets deserve better than this. I could only recommend basic vaccinations.

By tough love, I mean that in a good way! Pricing was WAY better than I’ve experienced at other vets throughout the Portland and Seattle areas. No price gouging or pushing of non-critical tests/medications/vaccines. Experiencia negativa: I brought three cats to be spayed and neutered. They all came home with upper respitory illnesses. All 3!!! I contacted Vista many times only to be disregarded. No vet addressed the issue. Just blew me of, told me it was normal, NOT. I had to find another pet clinic to take them. The kittens ended up getting antibiotic shot and some pill for inflammation. Poor kitties are so lethargic. It cost me over 350$. And they are still not feeling good. I m very disheartened with Vista. Moreover, my kits got in their cat carrier with no prb be4 the appt at Vista. When I went to put them in carrier for new vet appt, their were so frightened it made me cry. What the heck went on at Vista?! I do not recommend this vet clinic.

We will never come back. Very much a one sided double standard as I’ve routinely waited for our dogs to see a Dr on many occasions.

Experiencia positiva: It went well. Roxy likes the staff and they always make her comfortable. I took Roxy for a checkup and to have her examined for a cough she has had in the mornings for a week. She also had the heartworm injection. The vet and vet assistant were great and explained everything well. Roxy needs her teeth cleaned and they said the cost hasn't gone up. The person at the front desk told me the teeth cleaning cost has increased and is $1200 and that I paid $1100 last year. I never paid that much, nor would I. I told her I paid a little over $200. She then said I paid $467. I said, "No." She said okay. That person lies and if the cost is $1200, I'm going elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: They gave me two medications (at the same visit!) for my dog that when taken together long enough could gave caused some serious damage to his kidneys or even death. Luckily I found out pretty quickly because I read the warning label on one of the meds. How did this make it from the vet, to the vet tech and past the front desk where no one caught it? I called to ask about it and the front desk lady was very nice and apologetic. She asked if I wanted the vet to call. I told her no. She said she'd have the manager call. I missed that call which was fine but then I got a voice mail from the vet, apologizing. I know it sounds petty but that made me angry because I told the front desk I didn't want to talk to or hear from the vet. So, I stopped taking my dog. Outside of that, fair pricing, great front desk service.

Experiencia fantástica: Vista pet hospital offers low-cost spay and neuter which appeal to me very much. It came with a complimentary nail trim with the spay and neuter. If your dog and cat are well you don't have to bring them in for an extra visit when scheduling for the first time before surgery. It was a little tricky to find what's the only drawback.

Experiencia negativa: I had taken my Yorkies there since they were young. I loved the Vets and all of the staff. My dogs passed at 17 and 17 1/2 last year. This place has really changed. I recently revisited and they only had record of my cat who I only took there once.Really???!!! You do not have records of my dogs who went there for 15 years Their rates have skyrocketed and all of the great people who worked there are gone. I used to recommend them to my dog park friends. I no longer can be an advocate. It’s too bad. It was a good vet hospital.

Experiencia negativa: When I made an appointment for first time annual check for my puppy, they asked $80 deposit, but they did not say if I come late more then 10 minutes the deposit will be forfeit it. So today I got there late for 15 minutes because of the traffic. So I was about to reschedule, but the front desk name Randy asked me for another $80 deposit and I was shock. Then she offer if I want to talk to the manager and I just walked away. Then I called asked for the manager, she said let me see if the manager is available, so I waited for so long, and that RUDE front desk name Randy just hang up my phone call. Thats how you treat FIRST TIME CLIENT? THERE ARE A LOT OF VET. CLINIC OUT THERE WILL TREAT CLIENT NICER, WITH GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a RIP OFF vet. clinic! Other vet. clinic when I called they will work with me if I come late and would not charge me another deposit, unless if no show, no call.

Experiencia negativa: I have brought my 2 rescued cats to Vista a few times, and every time went smoothly, and the vets were good with my cats. Today though, we had an appointment to deworm them, and we talked about the prices of different treatments, and decided to only have use the dewormer today, than come back for a poop check up later on. We agreed for a little more than $50 for the dewormer, and $70 for the poop check up on a different day. However, at the check out, we were charged $193.94 because they did a physical examination. My wife and I never asked for a physical examination, and then when we asked about why the doctor did one, they said because I asked about a check up in my email. It was a miscommunication between us, but we were never informed about it until check out. When I asked questions about it, because I was never told about it, the receptionist and someone else talked demeaningly to both my wife and I, and became ruder and ruder. They weren't professional unfortunately, and I am disappointed because I thought we found a lifetime veterinarian.

Experiencia negativa: I really hope whoever runs Vista Pet hospital reads this post because they have a lot to fix. Multiple bad experiences with customer service and communication with various pets. The staff will talk amongst themselves about personal stuff and ignore customers waiting to check out. They tried to charge us double for medication that THEY prescribed in the wrong amount, and only told us because they wanted us to drive all the way back to the clinic so they could fix their mistake (we live an hour away) . I could keep going but I’m not going to waste more of my time. Only reason to go here is the fact that it’s a bit cheaper than some other places but it’s not worth the hassle. Save your time and money and get better care somewhere else. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I adopted a rescue kitten, and was able to get an appointment right away! I even had to reschedule it for later that day because the kitten was MIA in the morning, but when we caught her later that day, VPH was very accommodating. Everyone is sincerely caring, and I trust the advice of the doctors. I really appreciate the reasonable prices, and the staff’s dedication to local rescue organizations.

I was concerned about a change in my older kitty and easily requested an appointment online, Instructions for arrival were easy to follow and very well organized. The tech who picked up my kitty was very professional and I soon received a call from the vet to advise of my options. After having to sedate my kitty in order to examine him, I soon was contacted by the vet to advise of what she found. Thankfully, the news I received was good news. This all took place in less than two hours and the fee was very reasonable for these attentive services.

Experiencia fantástica: We absolutely love the staff at Vista! They are truly the best at caring for our 5 dogs and 1 cat. We live about 40 minutes away and we have lots of vet offices located closer to us, but we trust Vista and will continue to drive the 40 minutes to their office beacause of the care and service we receive. They do not try to tack on unnecessary add ons or charge outrageous fees! They want caring for your pets to be financially feasible as much as possible. The techs, assistants, and front desk girls are so friendly and inviting. The doctors are also so friendly and polite.

Experiencia negativa: I really wish I could give this vet a great review, but I just can’t anymore. I’ve been going to Vista Pet Hospital for almost 10 years now and my latest appointment will be my last, it was great 6 years ago but they have taken a nose dive the past 3 years. I arrived at my appointment ten minutes early with two pets. After their weigh in I sat in the room for 40 minutes before I had enough and had to come out and ask if anyone was working that day – after which it was explained that the vet my appt was with was still busy with a prior appt. I think at a minimum a tech could have popped into the room to let me know that this was the case rather than just ignoring me. What really upset me is that 1) I waited so long without any explanation 2) when I came out of the room and stood in the hallway I was ignored by the 4 employees working in the area until I went to the front desk. Aside from all of this, when I call to try and get a urine sample tested for a suspected UTI they want to schedule an appt two weeks out – not something I find acceptable – let’s just keep the pet in pain every time they try to pee, that’s great!

Not only are they a fantastic veterinarian team but they are reasonably priced and don’t push unnecessary procedures and tests. Experiencia fantástica: We take our two cats here and have had a great experience. Our cat Clementine normally needs to be sedated but for her most recent exam, they were able to do it without sedation! I really appreciate how much they truly care about the animals.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a fantastic experience here! Even though they are not my usual vet, my new rescue pup had an appointment to get spayed here. We experienced no issues and they went above and beyond and clipped her overgrown nails for me (I would have done it at home but was worried I’d hurt her, and I wasn’t comfortable taking her to a groomer until she was fixed) PLUS they took the opportunity to remove a stubborn baby tooth that had stuck around even though the adult tooth had grown in beside it already, which I hadn’t thought to mention and did not ask them to do. Such above and beyond service and very friendly staff. Thank you Vista!
Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE! I have been taking my animals to Vista Pet since I was 11 years old. I have loved Vista Pet for many years and have sung their praises for years now. But since they got purchased a few years ago I have been continuously disrespected and treated very poorly by them. I can name a long list of complaints but the one I want others to know about is the most recent experience I have had with them. I have been bringing my dog (who I recused/purchased from CARE in 2015) to Vista Pet since 2015, multiple visits/vaccines/etc. I have paid for since I started bringing her in. Due to life and everything being very expensive there was a time for a few years a good friend of mine brought her into Vista Pet to get care and was the one who paid for it. She was still my dog and I have had sole custody of her since 2015. My dog is not doing well and needs to be seen, due to the terrible treatment I have gotten before from Vista Pet I was having my dog seen by another vet in the area. When the new vet called to get my dog's medical records Vista Pet told them they did not have anything for my dog under my name or phone number. I went into Vista Pet after I found this out to speak with them about this thinking it is a misunderstanding. I was wrong, I found out that they ILLEGALLY transferred my dog's medical records to my good friend who had brought her in a handful of times. This was done WITHOUT my approval. Vista Pet told me today that they cannot release my dog's medical records because my dog in their system is not my dog. This should have NEVER happened because a good friend helped me out a handful of times. They have lost all record of the MULTIPLE times I have brought in my dog to Vista Pet way before my good friend ever did. My good friend is bipolar and in a manic episode and has moved away and is not able to be contacted. So I cannot get my dog's medical records because of a ILLEGAL mistake they made. DO NOT go here. Response: my friend brought my dog into your office YEARS after I had brought her in MULTIPLE times since 2015. According to your legal rules whoever is the first person to bring the animal into the office is the person who the account is under. Which would’ve been me, not my friend. I started bringing her in when the original owner was there and in the old location across from the post office in 2015. So you illegally moved records that were originally in my name without my permission, that is illegal.

Experiencia negativa: Found out from my new vet that this office used to muzzle my dog for visits. I understand that it is to keep everyone safe for dogs with history of biting or showing aggression, but my dog is is neither (he is actually quite anxious and will poop himself before showing teeth!). Our new vet shows a lot more patience and willingness to get to know my dog's personality and keep him as comfortable as possible. I was really disappointed to hear how my dog was treated (without my knowledge) at this clinic!

I did not wait long in the waiting area and the exam was completed smoothly and efficiently. Recommendations were made taking my dog’s age into consideration. She was brought up to date on immunizations.
