Fantastic experience: OAll the Dr's.are great and my dogs have always got exceptional care, I have been a pet parent since Dec1997 and all my dogs (4) and 2 grand dogs have had their medical needs taken care of here. All future pets will as well

Positive experience: This has been my 'go-to' vet for nearly a decade and one thing that makes me recommend this clinic is the stability of the staff, from vets to office staff to vet techs. I did have one poor encounter recently, where a pet owner didn't control his two full-grown German Shepherds, who went after my 11-year-old dachshund. No fault of the clinic -- just had no way to keep away from the aggressive dogs and a bad owner.

Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY recommend Raytown-Gregory Animal Health Center to everyone. The Doctors and Staff are knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. All of my pets are (or have been) patients there; from my diabetic/hyperthyroidism/one-eyed geriatric cat, my puppies to old age, and to the cats that saw the ‘vacancy’ sign on my door, lol. My latest trip was with my 14 y/o border collie mix that is allergic to everything (thank goodness for Apoquel) for her annual check that turned into more than routine. After an ultrasound and consultation with Dr. Beachner, we are now in hospice care. Raytown-Gregory Animal Health Center is the best in town. Over 25+ years, thank you for being there to take care of my four-legged and one 3-legged family members.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very welcoming, understanding, and informative. Granted, it's a pain getting an appointment but that's because they are swamped with patients. Everybody brings their pets here for good reason, they are amazing. If you ever need reliable and caring vets that will give your pet the assistance they need, please visit these fantastic clinic!

Fantastic experience: Had to take our senior kitty to See Dr. Godwin. This was our first time at Raytown-Gregory Animal Health Center and I couldn't be happier. The wait was minimal and with animals, that's appreciated. Dr. Godwin is amazing and our Sirius is feeling so much better. The location is easy to get to and the place is really, really clean and smells nice. I will say it's a tad pricey but all vets are. Still, we will be going back and taking our other animals there.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Beachner not only gave our new puppy a very through examination but also spent a long time answering our questions. The clinic itself is very clean, spacious, and the prices were more than fair. This clinic is very professional and my husband and I were really happy with the service we were given.

Fantastic experience: My dog was injured and I never been seen at this clinic before in between looking for a new one and they were able to get me in the same day which was awesome. The staff and the vet were super nice and welcoming and help get Lola squared away. I believe we found Lola a new vet :)

Fantastic experience: My 1st visit with my puppy, Lizzie. The entire staff as well as other clients were awesome, gentle and welcoming not only to Lizzie but to me as well. Lizzie didn't wine, cry or bark. She took her shots like a champ.

The front desk staff are extremely helpful when we call or check in for appointment. Doctor Beachner has always guided us in the right direction when making decisions about our dogs' care. Our dogs have also seen Dr Chirpich. He too, provides great guidance. We highly recommend this clinic for pet care!

Update October 24, 2025. The entire staff show extraordinary compassion and consideration. They take the time to listen to pet owners, even when I ramble on and on. They address every concern and work with me to provide the best care possible for my dogs. Each one of these people are very important to me.

Fantastic experience: My friend really likes Dr Beecher so we went there to get Thunders shots. The assistant was awkward and and immediately put thunder in a mussel.

Fantastic experience: It’s always a friendly atmosphere walking into this clinic. The front staff is SO nice, informative and they do show how much they care about you and your fur companion. The veterinarians and technicians are all so amazing too. They are fully engaged when listening to your concerns and make sure that you and your pet are taken care of. They will absolutely address any concerns you may have with comforting, yet knowledgeable explanations. My sweet Dutch Waffles (and I) absolutely loves coming into the clinic (shocking that a dog is excited to go to the vet!!) and loves all of the care and attention he receives. We will be staying with them for a LONG time.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brancato is a great and very knowledgeable doctor. She listened to all my questions/ concerns and reassured me.

Negative experience: Raytown Gregory is the worst vet I’ve ever dealt with. My cat was dying and all they did was try to siphon as much money from me as they could without figuring out what was wrong with him. They insisted he have an echocardiogram and be put under for an X-ray. I visited Crysler Animal Hospital and they X-rayed him right away and discovered his cancer. Choose a vet who cares less about lining their pockets.

Even though we didn’t get good news about our dog, Dr. Beachner was so kind, explained everything thoroughly, and answered all of our questions making us feel at ease and not rushed. If I could give a higher rating than a 5, I would.

Front desk ladies are friendly and accommodating, vet techs are great with our pets and the veterinarians are wonderful at explaining options, pros and cons of various treatments, and test results! Fantastic experience: DR. TIM CHIRPICH is the absolute best. He is so kind and i am truly so thankful to have him as my vet. I have gone to Dr. Tim for many years now and have always been happy with my experience. (I go every 6 weeks or so) My dog is my child and my whole world, so if you’re the same way, give my review a read. Dr. Tim has gone above and beyond for my dog. My dog got an infection and sadly had to be on an iv for a week and stay at the center overnight. My dog is much better now and was given the best care by Dr. Tim and his team. I can’t thank him enough. His staff came into the room and all were so happy to see my dog was better, gave him kisses and hugs. I can tell they all truly loved and cared for my dog and I couldn’t be more thankful. thank you Dr. Tim CHIRPICH and staff. I’ll always be thankful and grateful.

Negative experience: I took my dog here had a full health check up and paid atleast 600 for that and shots the. My dog passed away I have called the office and unsubscribed to the emails and texts they are still ending me reminders for his "up coming appointments " or coupons for some bull ish I hope this can get there attention thanks for making me cry every time I open my email oh and not finding his giant stomach tumor I say don't go there they are corporate owned and don't give a flip about the animals just the profit

I drive all the way from Midtown in Kansas City all the way to Raytown-Gregory, in order to receive the highest level of veterinary care and competence that I've received in this city since Dr. Dean Maxwell retired at Union Hill Animal Hospital. Dr. Chirpich, and quite honestly, every other veterinarian in that clinic are highly skilled, and truly care about your companion animal. I have been to other clinics in Kansas City, where I feel like their profit margins are more important than honest care. Fantastic experience: They are definitely not inexpensive, but we have been using them for several years and they have always been just great with the fur babies.

Positive experience: Absolutely one of the best places to take my pets. My only concern is that a lot of symptoms or serious health concerns were just mixed with an ‘air of mystery’ and a full list of what my cats lump might be was never given. Just a hefty price tag.

Fantastic experience: Decided to get a second opinion on my cats teeth. The last vet stated they would need to pull a few teeth but couldn’t decide on a number. When I asked for an estimate with 4 teeth extracted I was ignored. Due to this unpleasant experience I decided to get a second opinion at Gregory animal hospital. The Vet performed the second exam and said they believe the teeth can be cleaned without needing extractions. Sadly my cat had two broken molars and they were pulled. However I appreciated them not immediately going the pull 3+ teeth route.

Fantastic experience: The staff and Dr. Lowry are knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Our dog Calli , now 16 yes, has been going since she was a pup. Everyone takes time to answer questions and explain procedures and options for her care. We were in for annual shots and exam, but had some other health questions about our aging companion and Dr. Lowry took time to examine and explain "normal" aging and things that required follow-up. It's comforting to rely on the Docs to care for our pet's health. We recommend them highly.
