Fantastic experience: This is the best clinic ever — 100% recommended. They are truly passionate about what they do. They genuinely care and go above and beyond for their patients. Our chicken was bitten by our dog and was in very bad condition, with wounds all around her neck. They immediately took her into surgery, and within just two days she was back home with us. We are so grateful and absolutely in love with Dr. Mileydis and her entire team.

Positive experience: Wonderful experience overall. They were running a special promotion, so our cats’ dental cleanings were free, and we only paid for extractions, anesthesia, and bloodwork. This made care for our two senior fur babies very reasonable—each dental (including anesthesia and pre-anesthesia bloodwork) came out to around $500 per pet. Becky at the front desk was incredibly kind and even gave us a few cans of wet food for our cat who had a tooth extracted. She also waived the credit card fee for us! We also appreciated that Miami Animal Clinic has an in-house lab. Our cats needed blood work before anesthesia, and unlike other clinics that require a separate visit, everything was handled in a single appointment. The staff was patient, professional, and easy to work with. I’m giving four stars instead of five only because I would have liked a bit more explanation around the dental findings and recommended extractions. Overall, though, we had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend them for convenient, kind and reasonably priced care.

I brought my kitty in and everyone was super nice and patient.The prices were also very reasonable, which is such a relief when caring for multiple pets.All of my cats go to this clinic now, and I truly trust them with my fur babies. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about animals and wants the best for them. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for a caring and reliable vet!

Positive experience: I brought in my cat for what I suspected was a UTI. They got to me pretty quick and after some xrays, they figured out that it was actually constipation. They explained that she’d have to stay overnight for an enema. The next day I was told they had to sedate her and do some “deeper cleaning.” I was not told that any of this would leave my cat in pain on her behind. I wish this was explained to me and I wish I was given some advice on how to make her comfortable at home. I have to wonder what exactly was done that could leave my poor cat in this condition. Ultimately, the place was nice, the workers were caring, and the doctor seemed informed enough but I wish there was a more empathetic and informative approach to sending pets home after such invasive procedures.

Fantastic experience: I am deeply grateful to Miami Animal Clinic and all the staff who work there. They saved the life of my little puppy, Carmela. We went in on a Thursday at 7 p.m. after I noticed blood in her stool and a sudden drop in her energy. Dr. Lorente saw her right away, and from the very beginning he was incredibly kind and gentle with her. They performed a fecal test and a parvo test, and unfortunately Carmela tested positive for Parvo. Dr. Lorente was always honest and compassionate. He explained the seriousness of the illness and let us know from the start that there was only about a 50% chance of survival due to the severity of the virus. Even so, the entire team gave us hope and constant support. They allowed us to visit Carmela every day, which gave us peace of mind knowing she was in a safe, caring environment. Don Leo and Don Mario are truly amazing people who treat every animal with love and patience. They were kind to us every single day and never made us feel rushed during our visits. Carmela was hospitalized for five days and was discharged with all the medications she needed to continue her treatment at home. Because Parvo weakens the immune system, Carmela later developed kennel cough. I called the clinic, and they helped us on Christmas Day. They examined her, provided the necessary medication, and let her go home with us again.

She had given birth to six puppies just 15 days earlier and suddenly started shaking and struggling to breathe. We rushed to Miami Animal Clinic and arrived at 7:45 pm — well after closing time. Even though the clinic was closed, the receptionist immediately recognized the urgency and called the doctor, who was just leaving. Without hesitation, he turned around and came back to help. That alone spoke volumes about their dedication. Two hours later, the doctor came out with Chichita back to her normal self — stable, comfortable, and safe. Instead of turning us away or sending us to an ER that easily could have cost over $2,000, the staff stayed late, treated Chichita on the spot, and only charged us $370. Their compassion, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond will never be forgotten. I can’t say enough good things about Miami Animal Clinic. They treated our Chichita as if she were their own, and thanks to their care, she was back home with her puppies that same night. Negative experience: My friend gave me the phone number for this clinic. My dog was sick. She was bleeding pooped and Dr. Palacio told me that I had to leave her for two or three days. I asked him how she was. My dog came out fine, and she was doing well again. I went back to the clinic the second week that my visit was scheduled and I told Dr. Palacio how was my dog. He told me that my dog would be with me for 2 years. On July 16th, she got sick again and I took her back to the clinic. Now he told me that I had two choice: one was to put my dog to sleep or second choice was he would give me medicine for one or two days so that dog got better for only 2days. Unfortunately, my dog passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2026. My question is, what do I do? Because he didn't tell me from the beginning that my dog wasn't going to live long and made me spend so much money. Now I called him to explain how my dog died. He never called me.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE!!! I just want to say that THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND THE STAFF IS SOOOOO KIND AND SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. We have an appointment for Bam Bam, who is suffering with the nastiest couch and our Lexie who is a 15 year old pittie who is developing lumps. They were able to work with my schedule and with them having later hours, it makes it easier. I know that on Friday we will get the best service and amazing expertise. Maria always makes scheduling so easy for those that don't speak spanish and she is and the rest of the staff and very compassionate. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR BEING AMAZING AND TAKING CARE OF MY BABIES!!! I just want to shout out to the world how AMAZING Dr. Perez and her staff are!!!!! They saved my baby Justice when she had pyromania and she was hours away from passing away and THEY SAVED HER!!!!!. And they were so awesome with my babies Toto and Bam Bam. Even though I live an hour an half away, it is worth driving down there for not only their kindness and expertise and they are very reasonable with their pricing. I recommend them to everyone who needs a vet. My friend Lizette, who owns the rescue God Made Dog, is the one who referred me to them and I love her for that.

Fantastic experience: My rescue dog has been a patient of Dr Yusell Palacios for over 7 years. Dr Palacios is a caring, knowledgeable, honest and fair. His expertise far exceeds my expectations. My dog has many illnesses. She suffered from constant Pancreatitis, in and out of the hospital every several months. After trying many special foods out there to no avail, Dr Palacio gave me a recipe to cook for her. It was a miracle, she hasn't had an issue with her Pancreas since she started eating his special diet. She also has Cushings which was out of control before Dr Palacios took over her care, it is now under control. If you are looking for a Doctor that will deliver exceptional care to your pets look no further than Dr Yusell Palacios. You won't be disappointed. I know my Goldie would not be here today if I hadn't found Dr Palacios.

Positive experience: I had a great and transparent experience here. I would definitely recommended. My only wish is that they make it more cat friendly. A designated room/closed off area for cats free from distractions would be helpful, as it can be stressful for cats in open environments with other animals which can lead to further complications. My cat was very scared from all the noises. In which I would suggest if you come here, bring your pet in a good comfy carrier with treats to negate this. All in all - they helped my pet and we are very happy.

Fantastic experience: Miami Animal Clinic is the best veterinarian office in all of Miami!!!! Dr. Perez & Dr. Palacios are absolutely amazing! They have been taking care of our fur baby’s Fatty & Enzo since they were born 15 & 11 years ago. Unfortunately, our beloved Yorkie Enzo got cancer last year and thanks to Dr. Palacios‘s surgery and constant care, Enzo is still with us today, doing great after eight months Recently, our Maltese fatty went into kidney failure. She’s been ill for quite some time and with the constant care and monitoring of Dr. Palacios’s and Dr. Perez she has been stable but a month ago she had a horrible crisis and we thought she was going to pass but thank God to Dr. Palacios‘s she’s still with us, getting treatment and doing great! There are many vets in Miami Dade County, but none like Dr. Perez and Dr. Palacios‘s! Miami Animal Clinic is a place where the pets come first & the doctors & the whole staff will do everything they can and then some for all of the pets that visit their clinic. I have heard over the years, such sad stories of other vets offices, string pet owners along to get money out of them and that is so wrong!!! In the past when when we had to put two other of our beloved pets down I trusted in the years of experience that Dr. Perez & Dr. Palacios have to let our other 2 fur babies cross over the rainbow. They are not in it for the money they are in it for the health and well-being of our fur babies! I have been with them for many, many years and I can tell you, I would not go any place else. Thank you, Miami Animal Clinic for all you do for our pets and the pet owners and for always giving such excellent care…

Negative experience: We brought our 15-year-old cat Gorda here after several days of not eating. Bloodwork and imaging showed signs of pancreatitis and an enlarged kidney—both painful and serious conditions—yet no pain medication was given, offered, or even included in the hospitalization estimate. The vet spoke quickly and focused only on the enlarged kidney and mentioned an infection, but didn’t explain that, due to her age and multi-organ involvement, her condition was critical—even with hospitalization. We were given the option to care for her at home or admit her, but no one told us she could be in her final hours. A vet friend later confirmed she was likely in multi-organ crisis. Gorda passed away just hours later after 30 mins of painful screaming. We wish she had been given proper pain relief—or at least the peaceful and compassionate goodbye she deserved.

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best vet in Miami. I have a cavalier who needed extensive dental work and they did an amazing job! They also saved his life once when he was hospitalized for 3 days there. Fantastic experience: Great experience! We were seen right away after walking in, which I really appreciated since my cat Oliver was showing signs of a UTI and some GI issues. The team acted quickly—he got examined and X-rayed without a long wait. The vet was super kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in detail, which really helped ease my worries. We left with his medication and clear instructions on how to care for him. Prices were very fair—definitely more affordable than other places I’ve been to. I’d absolutely come back if needed!

Fantastic experience: I brought my rescued cat here after for an examination of his ears. Another clinic refused to see him because only by looking at him in my arms determined falsely that he was infected ear mites and was contagious. I then took him to Miami Animal Clinic after being referred by a friend. They instantly determined it was a reaction to mosquitoe bites, prescribed an ointment that l filled at their counter. l am happy with the fees, the reception staff, the veterinarian and with her assistant. My pet instantly felt better and the peace of mind I got from knowing it was nothing serious is priceless. I have continued to take my cat's friends here for care and treatment. Maria, the vet techs, the Dr.s and Jess are all so approachable, speak about treatment plan in plain language and the prices are reasonable and so is the wait. I went in with an emergency case and they immediately took me in and did everything in their power to help. Fantastic experience: I took my dog Vader a, Frenchie because I wanted to have him neutered. Dr. Palacios went ahead and did all the required test and examinations like x-rays and blood work. He informed me that the surgery couldn’t be done because he had pneumonia. I really appreciate how attentive and caring Dr.Palacios was with my baby. The manager Maria was very nice, helpful, and attentive to my needs and my dogs. She helped me understand everything from start to finish. I recommend Miami Animal Clinic. Fantastic experience: I've visited this animal hospital a few times now, and every time, I'm met with such warmth and kindness. The staff are wonderful—always cheerful and eager to help! Dr. Perez is simply the best! She really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about the pets. Plus, they offer a fantastic wellness plan for furry friends. It truly is the best place on earth, or at least that's what my dogs would tell you!

Negative experience: I took my dog to this clinic because he had developed a growth on his abdomen. As soon as Dr. Perez saw him, she confidently diagnosed it as a hernia and said surgery was urgent because it appeared to be growing quickly. I had been referred to her, so I decided to move forward with the procedure. Recovery was difficult. The stitches weren’t healing properly, so I brought him back and asked if a mesh had been used—something that’s commonly done in such cases due to the weakness of the tissue. The doctor said they hadn’t used one because his body would have rejected it, and that they would need to restitch the area. This extended what was supposed to be a two-week recovery into almost two months. My dog had to wear a cone the entire time, and the incision still wouldn’t fully close. Weeks later, new lumps began to form around the incision site, so I returned to the clinic. Upon examining him again, Dr. Perez said it was strangulated tissue and that he needed another emergency surgery. I was terrified of putting him under anesthesia for a third time, so I asked if we could run lab work first to make sure he could handle it. She insisted it wasn’t necessary. I felt extremely uncomfortable and decided not to proceed. Then, another doctor came to speak with me. He recommended a biopsy, explaining that during the first surgery he had noticed multiple hematomas in the area. I was stunned—why hadn’t anyone mentioned this earlier? Why wasn’t I told from the beginning that it might not have been a hernia at all? The biopsy results revealed that my dog had an aggressive form of cancer called hemangiosarcoma. Although this type is serious, it was subcutaneous, and if it had been caught and removed early, he might have lived another 1–2 years with treatment. Instead, I lost him within a month. I will never forgive myself for taking him to that clinic not just once, but three times. I’m not saying the veterinarians are bad people, but I don’t believe they had the equipment or expertise to handle a complex case like his. Please—always get a second opinion

Fantastic experience: I would give this place 10 stars if I could . This place came highly recommended by my neighbor & I'm so glad I listened to her & came because I went to another vet earlier today & was told my dog needed surgery to remove a big obstruction in his small intestine from stuff he's eaten around the house & that surgery is very expensive! Thankfully after seeing this vet right after leaving his appointment she gave me another option to try & said surgery would need to happen in a couple of days if this doesn't work. So he had a 50/50 chance . I prayed for the best & sure enough at 2 am he pooped everything out. My dog had not eaten for 3 days & barely drank water . Immediately after he pooped he drank water & ate some of his food The staff & the dr there were so helpful & the move quickly because I was there for less than 1 hr . Thank you so much!

Positive experience: *CHECK EDIT* My sister in law went to see what was wrong with her Chihuahua's mouth and they told her it was a tumor with minimal surface testing, and suggested she be put to sleep right then and there. She got a second opinion from a clearly much better vet and with correct testing they diagnosed her with an abscess in her mouth and successfully removed it. She is recovering well. I will NEVER bring my pet here. EDIT: I can admit when I was wrong and I am back to say the vet was in fact correct. Molly is in really bad shape. My sis in law is doing everything she can to make her last weeks as comfortable as possible. Poor Molly. Again I can admit when I was wrong. Thank you for letting her know before anyone else.... In fact the second vet she went to charged her and said it was an abscess and nothing crazy, just to do more tests so she spends more $$$ to get the same result. Again. Thank you. Merry Christmas.

Negative experience: I have done more than one procedure for my dog ​​in this clinic and everything was fine. And when my dog ​​had severe poisoning, I also took her to this clinic because I trusted them very much. My dog ​​burped bile in the mornings and was very weak for 2 days. I took her to the emergency room and they told me it was an infection and that IVs needed to be given. I took her to the Miami Animal Clinic. They gave her IVs all day. Throughout the day I called them and asked how my dog ​​was doing, and they answered that everything was going well. And I could pick up my dog ​​around 6 pm. I arrived in the evening and was met by a female doctor, who took me to another room and I realized that something was wrong. She said that the ultrasound showed that my dog ​​had an intestinal blockage and needed urgent abdominal surgery. That is, to cut the intestines. My dog ​​is 10 months old, he is a small puppy. At the time he was admitted to the hospital he weighed 6.7 pounds. He was very weak and I don’t think he would have survived the surgery. I cried a lot and the doctor pressured me to sign a paper about the surgery that would cost 5 thousand dollars. I asked if I could see the ultrasound, to which she said that another company had come to do the ultrasound and that they could show me the ultrasound tomorrow. He was dripped with IVs for a couple more days. But there was no intestinal blockage. This clinic is ready to rip open the intestines of a small living creature for 5 thousand dollars. I love my dog ​​more than anything in the world. I don’t feel sorry for him for all the money that I have. But what this clinic allows itself does not stay in my head. It was November 14, but I still can’t recover from the stress that I received. I Do Not Recommend This Clinic If You Love Your Pet!!!!!! For being so loving and understanding and dedicated to making sure I didn’t leave that center without hesitation in my heart that my baby was gonna be loved and taken care of the way I would for him. In the worst of times I’ve ever experienced I’m so grateful for the staff that has helped me get through it, I want to make an honorable mention to the ladies in the front, ivy carla and Jessie. I honestly have felt such ease and trust in the entire process. So let me begin by saying, expect to wait a long time, if you wait for your own doctors appointments for an hour what makes you think your most loved furry friend doesn’t deserve the same kind of dedication and patience? Anywho, kitty and I came here almost a year ago, and we were told the tumor in his leg was indefinitely lymphoma. They offered right then and there to amputate but for the life of me I couldn’t do it without fighting for his leg so off to chemo we went, a few months later the tumor came back and the doctors let us know there was no way of saving it. We came back and in the almost month long process it’s been for me and little man to get back on our feet they have made sure to attend every single detail and concern I’ve had. I kid you not kitty was up and running three days after his surgery we ran into a few hiccups but he’s as strong as he is loving. Thank you again for all you’ve done for us, and for allowing me to process my emotions one step at time.

Fantastic experience: We went through 6 different doctors trying to pin point our cats health issue for 8 months. No one could figure it out and some did not even care to help us cause our cat can be very catty! Dr. Perez got to the core of the issue and was able to put our fur baby on a full treatment in under 30 days that is working! The best part we only had to take our cat in once since she does not handle visits well AT ALL, lol! Fantastic experience: I happened to be traveling through Miami with my 13-year old dog who was having some medical troubles. Luckily, I ended up choosing the Miami Animal Clinic. It was, hands down, the best veterinary experience I’ve had in 13 years of dog ownership. The clinic allows walk-ins, and the staff is super helpful and kind. While waiting to see the vet, I spoke with other pet owners who were long-term customers, all of who absolutely raved about the clinic. They were right to do so. The vet gave my dog the most thorough exam she’s ever had, including by carefully combing through 150 pages of her history that my normal vet emailed, undertaking a physical exam and taking x-rays. She explained her diagnosis and her proposed treatment strategy, which I was grateful for. The biggest surprise came when I checked out - the total cost for the exam was only $30 (that’s right, THIRTY DOLLARS). And the medicines I purchased from the clinic were not marked up. Bottom line: if you’re in Miami, make sure you go to the Miami Animal Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I took my cat around 6PM as she had been throwing up and not eating. I felt very supported by staff and appreciated the vet going over my options and my cats results thoroughly. I went in as an anxious cat mom and left with peace of mind my cat was going to be okay. The vet, techs, and reception staff were all very kind and helpful. I’ll be coming back and will recommend to all my friends who are pet parents.

Negative experience: My dog was misdiagnosed and was told to be PUT DOWN!! I went on Monday with my dad because our dog Molly, she had a ball on the side of her cheek that was pretty big so we were worried when we got there they put some type of anesthesia on her to check the ball. She just took one look at it and said it was a tumor and that there’s nothing we could do, that we should put her down right now since she’s already asleep. I’m very glad we did not decide to do that and got a second opinion instead.Molly is now alive and happy and all she had was an abscess which was successfully removed.

Once I arrived, I saw Maria again, ever so helpful along with the other wonderful ladies servicing a full waiting room. I went there with a puppy with parvovirus, they went out of their way to help me find the monoclonal antibodies for the virus, they did not stop until it was found and the puppy was saved.
