Fantastic experience: Dr. Guzman and his team, are an amazing group of professionals. Yesterday was a very sad day as I had to put down my baby Rocco, a 12 year old Boston terrier, due to sickness. Rocco had been going to Dr. Guzman since he was 6 months old. During the 12 years we visited the vet, he was always treated with care and the Dr always explained everything thoroughly. During this difficult time him and his team went above and beyond. I can't recommend him enough. Thank you to the full team.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy to have the opportunity to share my experience with Kendall Drive Animal Hospital, I have been coming for about 8 years. I always smile and feel very welcomed by the staff Hamira, Angela, Joe, Kaylee, and Chris they are sweet, professional, courteous, happy, graceful and very respectful. Dr. Rafael Guzman is a very gracious, smart, sweet and gentle natured. He is always very humble and very kind and a very good vet. I know when I send my animals to the back with him and the team I know my animals will be handled with care and compassion. I started going there 8 year ago with Goldie and Scooby, Scooby passed away 3 years ago at home. I adopted King, 30 days before Scooby passed and it was the best 30 days I had Goldie, Scooby, Sara and King all together. King was adopted with seizures but he is doing wonderfully. During covid, I could not go inside so they pick Scooby and Goldie at the parking lot and bring them to the vet one at a time. They never missed their shots. King turned 3 on July 4, he has been going for 2 years and his seizures are controlled now, I go to Sven for meds and Dr. Guzman for general vet exams, shots. Dr. Guzman he does always asks me how King is doing, what medicines he is on, how many seizures, he cares so much. King is doing fantastic. The techs are so cute I have Joe, very sweet, and charming, he always carries King out, King is not easy he is intimidated by people specially males, but Joe, King does great with him. Last visit he had Keily, she is just adorable too, sweet and courteous. King gave her kisses I was like wow. There is one more tech Chris. I saw him last few times too very adorable, super cute too, very funny and he takes King in like best friends. Even my Goldie loves coming here she behaves so good. What I love about the vet is they make me a list of everything they are going to do upfront, we discuss each service and I choose exactly what I need. They know I am on budget, because they know I am a animal lover I have 5 pets, plus birds and fish and they know King's medicine and treatment at Sven it is expensive. Sven is great too, love them too. Yes each pet I discuss what I need, they know I bathe my dogs myself so I always tell them do the anal gland and cut their nails plus all the shots and their tags. The techs, the front desk the doctor they are so respectful of my budget they agree with me every time I go I tell them lets not go over this amount remember i have to come back with the three cats, and they are about servicing others not about taking your money. Each person here does their job with so much love and compassion, they are full of grace and compassion. As far as cleanliness the place is super clean, very comfortable seating, they do not overschedule. I even see the lady from the puppy store she brings all her puppies here. I always love going there so many nice clients and so many beautiful pups. Everyone is so respectful and nice. The front desk is so knowledgeable too. Beautiful girls at front desk too, very smart, kind. I highly recommend them. I know there are many choices near by and new vet offices sprucing up in this neighborhood but for me they are my only choice and I hope you too can come and meet this wonderful veterinary clinic. You will agree, they are the best. All the best to the staff. I see you all soon.

Fantastic experience: While visiting Miami I just purchased a toy poodle puppy and on day 2 he was not doing well, I called Kendall Dr Animal Hospital and they saw me an hour later. The staff were very compassionate and helpful. Dr Guzman ran tests and reassured me my pup would be ok. I’m so grateful for their concern and seeing us immediately. Fantastic experience: I recently visited this clinic. My specialist was Alfredo. Alfredo had an excellent customer service and really knowledgeable about my pet Bruno. I highly recommend him if you ever come to this clinic.

Negative experience: The hospital maintains a clean environment, offers ample parking, and is easily accessible. The staff is courteous and accommodating, and the on-site doctor (who is also the owner) is highly knowledgeable, informative, and willing to answer any questions you may have. I visited the hospital three times in total. However, there are two main concerns I have regarding the facility: 1) The primary reason for my visits was never adequately addressed, despite several attempts and various reasons provided by the staff. 2) The hospital takes pets to the back for procedures or treatments without the owner's presence or supervision. While this is done with owner consent, there is no option to opt-out, and it applies to nearly all treatments, not just gland-related issues. On one occasion, after my pet was taken to the back, I could hear him screaming in distress from a considerable distance. Although I waited patiently for the staff to return him, I was deeply uncomfortable with the situation. On another visit, while waiting for the staff to take my pet to the back, he jumped off the examination table in fear, clearly indicating his reluctance to be taken away from me. Finally, when I was asked to return for a third visit to address the original concern, I decided not to continue with the hospital’s services. I do not recommend this facility, primarily due to their practice of taking pets to the back for treatment without owner supervision. In my experience with six different animal hospitals, I have never encountered such a practice.

I have been bringing my babies for over 10 years, today Brandy hurt himself and they fitted me in, Joe was incredibly kind, Dr. Guzman is ethical and caring and the ladies are very at the front (Angela, Hamira and Kaylee) always take good care of us and know how much we love our fur babies. Thank you guys, your kindness makes a difference!

The doctor and staff here are far away the best that I've encountered. They care, they take the time to explain everything, they don't talk down to you, and they are affordable. Our animals are like our children. We want to know that they are receiving the best care and being treated well. KDAH checks both of those boxes. I don't frequently write reviews of companies (and wasn't asked to write this one) but I wanted to share my experiences with this wonderful group of people.

Positive experience: this where I take my dog for vaccine since he was a puppy. but last time, I missed my appointment by an hour or so. when I get there I didn't feel welcome and wanted to do full check up for my dog, they didn't because I was late to my appointment. the waiting room as a flea or a tik walking on the floor. I didn't like that. other than that this place care about your money more than your dog.

Negative experience: My parents have gone to this vet for years and have had good experiences. I don't know what happened, maybe there is a change in management or process, but I cannot even get in contact with anyone working at this vet. I have tried to make an appointment here for days. I leave multiple messages on their website, no response. I call more then 10 times, and I keep getting a message saying to try again later. I cannot even leave a voice mail. This is supposed to be an animal hospital prepared to deal with emergencies and communicate with the owners. I cannot wrap my head around a business making money on health/wellness/emergency, and they cannot even answer the phone or any of my messages. It is beyond unprofessional, it is irresponsible and I will never go here or recommend anyone going here ever. Thanks for the terribly annoying experience.

Kendall Drive Animal Hospital was able to squeeze me in the next day with the day being fully booked, and there was no waiting. Fast and efficient service. The receptionist, technician and Doctor were very nice.

Fantastic experience: I stray kitty somehow climbed into my car and this location was the nearest vet to the tire shop that helped me get the kitty out. It was really heaven sent because from the moment I walked in to the clinic, Olivia and the receptionist and all the others girls at the front desk were so kind and helpful. They gave me free examinations and the vet and vet assistant were so professional and knowledgeable. They took good care of the stray kitty. I ended up purchasing services and will definitely be back. I highly recommend this clinic. They really care about the animals and their customers and provide 5 star service.

Fantastic experience: We took our 13 year old dog and because he wasn’t doing well physically. Dr. Guzman did not immediately suggest euthanasia but also gave an alternative. We chose the alternative. It’s everybody’s choice but this was the one for us. It gave us a few more days with our dog, Zohan. He was better for a couple of days and then regressed and we knew it was time to use euthanasia so that he would not suffer anymore. It was a Saturday and we had a follow up appointment scheduled for Tuesday morning. We felt that our dog would suffer too much until then and this needed to be done right away. I called and got an appointment for the afternoon that was available. The staff, tech, and Dr. Guzman were awesome. We cried like we’ve never cried before. They did not rush us. They gave us time to be with the dog and to say goodbye . The office staff was also sensitive to our needs. I had already researched what happens when a dog is put down but Dr. Guzman explained everything anyway as the other people in my family did not know as much. What I appreciated most was that they did not rush us while we cried and clung to our dog and said our goodbyes at the end. For that I am grateful and appreciative. UPDATE: We received a sympathy card in the mail which was signed by Dr. Guzman and his staff. UPDATE(about 2 years later): we had to put our second dog down as he was in his last days with congestive heart failure. Again, Dr. Guzman and the staff were awesome and very caring. We had the same experience as with our first dog. They also gave us some gifts of which one is a picture frame with dogs around it along with the sympathy card. We don’t plan on getting any more pets at the moment and I will miss going to Kendall Dr., Animal Hospital as I have done for the past 14 years.

Negative experience: We had a 0900 appointment. I drove from Key Largo and left 90 mins early to make sure we respected their time. Even though WE were on time and the first appointment of the day… We still literally waited for 30 mins… My dog has a sore back and an eye infection. Without even looking at X-rays or an mri, the doctor determined that she needed surgery… Her eye infection started two weeks ago but he determined she needed eye surgery. The best part is they tried charging me $600 for an X-ray… Hope your experience better than mine. We walked out and won’t be back. Profit is the focus here NOT your dogs health. Update: 2 days later the dog is perfectly fine and back to normal… But the vet here was trying to convince us that she needed back surgery. Unbelievable.

Fantastic experience: I feel so comfortable and secured when they take care of my baby boy they know him in a friendly environment. Where they feel will really happy. I highly recommended this pet hospital!

Negative experience: One of the worse costumer services I had in my life!!!! They tell you one price and after charges you more! The doctor is late always! And management screamed at me in front of at least 5 other costumers. They misplace my file! They wanted to vaccinate my dog on the back without me seeing it and told me to trust them. This place needs to be closed for sure.

Fantastic experience: The best experience ever !!! The girls in the front are all amazing very friendly and helpful. The medical assistants explain everything to detail. The doctors are great !! But the girls in the front really make the office great !! Thank you for being the best !! I have to say though gaby is the best !!!

Fantastic experience: Staffs are very nice , knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They always following up after the visits. I have two dogs now that I take to them and save some bucks with their plan. They take care of your dogs like is their dog. Love this place!
