Fantastic experience: I adore this place! The staff are so wonderful and willing to answer any questions I have. The vets know what they're doing, and everyone really cares about each animal that comes through their doors. When I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to my beloved calico cat in May, they sent me a condolences card with handwritten notes from the staff, even though I was out of state at the time. I recommend East Orange Animal Hospital to everyone who asks me about a good vet for their pets

Fantastic experience: We’re new patients to this vet, I was eyeing this vet for my very anxious and reactive dog as a friend recommended them to me since her dog is the same. I haven’t brought her in yet but the other day it was my cat who got sick and I called them and they didn’t have appointments but they told me to come in as a fill in and we’d still be taken care of no matter what. Turns out my cat has diabetes and this has been a very stressful week but all within 48 hours they treated him, trained us on administrating insulin etc and my cat is already doing much better. I truly want to thank the vet tech Amy, she’s the kindest, most caring person I’ve ever dealt with in all the years of taking my animals to the vet. She’s willing to teach, answer so many of my repetitive questions, calm my nerves and is constantly checking to see how kitty is doing, its very appreciated in this new chapter of our cats life. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Negative experience: Called about my cat having fleas that has become impossible to get rid of and the receptionist was very rude about it. asked for help and she told me “i don’t know.”

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love it here! Dr. Perreault is who my cats typically see but I have met all 3 doctors as well as a lot of the staff members. Everyone is extremely welcoming and kind, you can truly tell all the staff is there for the animals and the people. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would. I have our family dog. She is lovely but has been struggling with skin issues. I have taken her to 4 different vets. Each time it was the same buy this product and it will alleviate the skin issue. Hundreds ( Literally) hundreds of dollars in product and no resolve. This was really my last resort. I was apprehensive to go to another vet to be told the same thing. Upon meeting with the Vet he was able to address the issue and made a few recommendations. He knew immediate what had to be done and he was confident that this would resolve the issue. I can confidently tell you that he was knowledgeable and cared for my dog. He knew how to address it and my dog is now in perfect health. No longer struggling with her skin issues. She is happy and is enjoying every day life. I will highly recommend this vet hospital. The staff was professional , friendly and loving to my pet. Doctor Rodan is the best. Thank you for all of your services.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very kind, empathetic, and knowledgable. They do everything possible to make visits low stress for our highly reactive dog. Dr. Jackson has a heart of gold and explains conditions very clearly.

Negative experience: I wish I could give a lower review. My friend’s dog was taken to another emergency vet due to fluid in her heart and a possible tumor. The emergency vet passed on the information to this vet office. Not even 24 hours later this vet office called my friend trying to convince her to euthanize her dog. In a nutshell, they said if you can’t afford the expenses you shouldn’t have a dog and just euthanize her. It doesn’t matter if you agree with that statement or not, it shouldn’t be said or done less than 24 hours of almost loosing your pet. To be treated as an irresponsible dog owner because of circumstances out of your control is crazy and totally insensitive.

Negative experience: Hi, This is Roxanna’s owner in response to the review my friend Jasmine left and the owners response…. I NEVER called East Orange Animal Hospital to try and have my pet seen since I took her to the VEC. I was reached out to on March 16th at 10:54am by a lady in the office stating they had received information on my dog’s visit to the VEC the night prior. I was urged to take my dog to the office and I informed them WHILE CRYING that I had spent my entire paycheck taking her to the emergency vet. I was told that I should not think about myself, “put your baby’s needs and pain above everything else” and take her to get put down immediately since I could not afford anything else right now and that taking a dog to see a specialist would be very costly. I have not taken my dog to see this vet in a while due to this not being the first negative interaction I have had with the person at the desk making and answering calls. There have been multiple times where I have been made to feel like I am not being a responsible pet owner for not accepting to pay for all the services they have offered to me (most of which my dog doesn’t really need). Respectfully, you do not know my story nor what I have been through with my dog, nor do you know the sacrifices I have made to keep her healthy despite my economic situation. Instead of being so condescending in your response, think about how your words and your so called “customer service” affects someone who is going through a traumatic situation. Stop trying to scold people because you think you know better as a vet what they should be doing and give advice without putting stress on someone who thinks they are about to loose everything they have. A total of 6 hours had passed since I got back from the VEC with my dog who I almost lost. Words cannot describe how angry I am and my entire family and friends with how this situation was handled. I’ll have you know I WAS able to take her a specialist and they informed me she DID NOT in fact have a tumor, and put her on medications; they were kind enough to help me through everything and help me find a solution to keep her ALIVE and helped me find ways to pay for it. Had I taken your advice, I would not have Roxanna with me now. Do better.

Negative experience: Almost killed my cat. The tech went to take its temperature and tore its insides and brought out a piece of the cats inside. The next morning the vet calls wants to know how the cat is. He was taken to AVS where East Orange paid for the surgery. This happened a few years ago hopefully they got better techs, the vet was a great guy

The customer service is top tier as all the people who work there are so genuinely kind, patient and helpful. Their prices are pretty good and the doctors are so attentive and really take their time to get to know you and your pet. Ive been coming here for maybe 2 years with my senior dog who passed and they did everything under the sun to help me provide her the best care I could in her final months. I have been coming now with my two cats and have never had a bad experience.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful team! Second update: this team cares for my pets as if they are their own. Hannah has had several struggles the past few months. A vet that calls well after clinic hours is unheard of, this team does. Being treated with caring compassionate care. Hannah is not an easy dog to treat because she doesn’t follow any standard protocols of care. They are working with me and doing everything they can to find out the right course of action for her. Bless this group. UPDATE: I want to elaborate on my very short initial review. Recently in the past two weeks our sweet 15 y/o Hannah became very ill. Closest emergency vet didn’t open until 6pm. I ran Hannah to East orange -back to this amazing team, barged in the clinic unannounced 5 minutes before they closed. I just didn’t know what to do for her during the odd time of day between clinics. I just knew I needed to get her seen by a Vet. Luckily it ended up not being the emergency I suspected and thought it could have been. They took her, in saw her , treated her and the team stayed late because of when I showed up. We are grateful and blessed to have this wonderful group of people that care for their clients as much as their owners do. Hannah has recovered and back to her sassy senior ways. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

They took good care of my cat and were efficient in giving him a general check-up. This establishment lives up to its positive reviews, and it is a very convenient location for the apartment complexes in the area. Fantastic experience: Our fur babies (cat and dog) are brothers from different mothers. They go together and were treated together which helped lower anxiety for each other. Dr. JACKSON and the vet techs are awesome.

Fantastic experience: Veterinary offices are very difficult places to work. Every day, the team of any given veterinary office deals with the stress of scared and sick patients, the stress of the patients' families, and the stress of running a business. There are successes, there are losses, and there's everything in between, but at the end of the day they are responsible for the lives of our beloved family members. East Orange Animal Hospital does this every day, and nobody is doing it just to get a paycheck. Everyone in that building loves every animal that comes through its doors. They have taken care of my crackhead (German Shepherd) Samantha since she was born three years ago, and we've gone through a lot together. Above and beyond doesn't come close to describing the kind of care they have offered Sam and I. Sam is a very difficult dog, and I'm a first time dog owner. Everyone has been patient and accommodating, and never made me feel bad when Sam was struggling at the vet, they only offered support and advice. And love. Both Dr. Perrault and Dr. Jackson have taken care of different members of my family, and have been informative, caring, and skilled. I have all the concerns any pet owner has when going to the vet, but once they're in the doctors' hands here, I feel fully confident they'll get exactly what they need. I absolutely adore this veterinary office and everyone in it. Especially the vet techs, they are amazing!

Fantastic experience: Good rabbit savy vet, years of experience, good prices, takes in non appointment emergencies. My Marshmellow had GI Stasis and Dr Jackson had her perfect in under an hour.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr Rodin!!! He saved Buddy’s life by noticing he had a lump that turned out to be a tumor. Luckily his spleen was removed and everything was benign ❤️ He’s a very personable and caring man - I just wish I had found him sooner!!

Before that we had Prince and Princess and they offered support when we needed that compassion during the last years of their lives. Now, my daughter has Oliver and Bentley and the service is always top of the line. We love the precautions during COVID too.

They fit me into their already busy schedule and also called a couple days later to follow up to see if the treatment was working. Negative experience: THE WORST!!! They don't care about the Well-being of your Loved One. They Only Care about the Money!! I took Intensive Care. I was clearly informed that I would be receiving updates on the status of their health throughout the day. However, I received NO CALLS WHATSOEVER regarding Health Updates. BEWARE of this Place! My Pet had advanced GI Stasis and the vet Jackson requested to be placed in Intensive Care throughout the day. However, She did not Feed her with a Syringe as she was Extremely Weak. Instead, she offered food from a dish which she could Not Even Open her Mouth to Ingest, Let Alone Stand Up! They let her Die in a Cage Without Even Notifying or Calling me for Health Updates. Due to the lack of Communication, I called to check her Condition and this person told me she found her Collapsed inside the cage. God knows for how Long she passed away without no one looking in to check on her health. She showed NO Compassion or Empathy for My Loss. Full of Greed and Only Taking Advantage of People's Money. She recommended Intensive Care for more Money instead of Urging to be placed under euthanasia due the Severity of her health. She could not even stand up due to the Excruciating pain she was suffering! The vet did not Even Evaluate her in Front of me. Instead, she took her away and said "Let me do an estimate to see if you agree with the costs." That was the last moment I saw her alive looking back at me. Negligent Malpractice. A Humane Vet would have immediately performed Euthanasia under the Severe Circumstances. I researched the condition of Bloat and contacted Trained Vets in the area and they informed me that under No condition she could have received fluids with her severe deteriorating state. This only made her Condition Worse! However, this Doctor is More Concerned about Money than the Well-being of Health. Also, Rude and Unprofessional Front Desk Staff joking around like clowns and ignoring customers when addressed. When I went to pick her up, I was in Shock. She told me "Do you want to pick her up in the front or back" with no seriousness and still trying to profit from funeral expenses. Under No Circumstances, leave your loved one Alone in this place. Don't trust these people. These Disgusting people Even Erased her Account and all the Evidence of her Condition to leave No Trace Behind. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Fantastic experience: Mark Perreault is a great veterinarian. He is super personable and goes above and beyond and delivers you a high value customer experience. I highly recommend. Everyone is really friendly and care about our fur babies.

Fantastic experience: I was referred by a friend that worked at the front desk when my cat was very sick and my vet was out of town. It was one of the best decisions I've made. They were able to get Stewie in as an emergency and I truly believe they saved his life. I moved all my cats to their office and never looked back. Stewie still gets extra hugs and attention when I bring him in because he won over the staff when he was first there. You can choose any of the vets at this office and trust that you're getting the best medical care and advice as each one clearly wants the best for your loved one. The techs, assistants, and front office staff are amazing, hands down. I recommend this office to anyone looking for professionals that are up-to-date with the newest therapies and treat your pets with the same care as they would their own.

Fantastic experience: It’s very evident from the moment you walk through the doors that all employees have your pet’s best interest at heart. The veterinarians are all extremely competent, caring, and cost conscious. Molly generally sees Dr. Perrault; we are glad we found him!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to East Orange animal hospital for 33 years. I usually see Dr Rhoden and he is wonderful. But I have seen the other doctors and they are also very caring and knowledgeable. The staff is very nice and accommodating for any special requests or needs. I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: People here are very caring and professional and nice. I just don't feel I can trust them. We took our puppy there with a UTI and got a prescription, spray, and wash. Shortly after we used these items the problem persisted. We came back and were told the culture must not have been accurate or our dog is resistant to the antibiotics. We ended up doing 3 separate cultures and our problem didn't go away. I don't know if the problem is our dog, the medicine, the culture being inaccurate, or the vet. I just know we paid 3x and over $600 and our problem wasn't solved. We're going to another vet this time who hopefully will resolve the issue. Hopefully you don't have this issue. It may be entirely out of these guys control. I just felt bamboozled like we didn't get our money's worth because the problem persisted.

Negative experience: DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG GROOMING HERE! I have a poodle. I picked him up and his toes were all nicked from the clippers and his body was all choppy and there were random short patches of long and short hair. It’s literally the worst haircut I have ever seen on him. But the clinic and the veterinarians are 5/5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? The front desk staff is super nice and understanding. They were nice from the moment I got there until I left. They automatically scanned all my paper work into to their system to make copies. Now when it comes to the Vet which I believe was Dr.Perreault , he was nice , understanding and honestly made me feel that I picked the right vet for Augustina. With his help I was referred out to ACCC so they could look deeper into her x-rays and where they did a surgery to remove a mass. I got lucky enough to go to ACCC the next day due to someone canceling in their books. Even when I was referred out to ACCC Dr.Perreault still reached out to me to make sure my Augustina was alright and he even celebrated the good news over the phone with me when Augustina's test results came back saying the mass was not cancer. I have clearly found the vet for my Augustina and my parents are now planning on taking their pet here as well .

Fantastic experience: I have been going here since 1998. They take wonderful care of all my animals. They are all caring, friendly and very helpful. I moved to Kissimmee but still drive there for vet services. Even my dog here's the name vet and is at the door ready to go.

Fantastic experience: I finally found a veterinarian who is excellent and caring about animals. My old dog became very distressed all of a sudden, I thought she was not able to breath. She is 14 years old. I called the office and they were willing to see her asap. They were very nice, and understanding and took great care of my senior. The whole staff is great, and doctor Rosen took the time to call me and update me as soon he finished my dog’s procedure. They called me two days in a row to make sure Cookie was doing good. I am glad I found a great veterinarian team.

Fantastic experience: Great experience today. Had an incident this weekend with our new puppy (13 weeks old) whom we hadn’t established a vet with yet, and these guys took care of us today. Bambi did a great job making us feel welcome and explaining what was going on. Dr Roden took his time with our pup and treated us all kindly (including my two young rambunctious kids). He showed me the X-rays and explained everything, and I feel like it was genuine and he didn’t try to upsell us on an unnecessary treatment. Both ladies at the front were super kind as well, and I look forward to going back to them. Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: The Staff and Dr Rhoden are always patient and kind. Our border collie looked like he had a stroke or some sort of seizure and the staff and Dr Rhoden took a look at him and gave us directions on what we needed to do. Our dog essentially had vertigo and has been doing so much better.
