Experiencia negativa: Want to start off by saying the service from the techs and doctors is great, but the front desk staff needs some work. The prices are absolutely ridiculous. Charged me almost triple the amount for the same medicine I got at different clinic in the same city. I also don’t want to fail to mention the 60 dollar office visit charge EVERYTIME you and your animal visit. That they don’t tell you about. Overall this clinic is predatory and you could definitely get better and more affordable service elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: East State absolutely earned 5 stars. I took my sweet little kitten, Runtz, to them when he was pretty much at deaths doorstep and they were so wonderful. Very affordable and Dr. Fleming and the team took great care of my little guy. A few hours with them and he came back to me almost as good as new! Highly recommend east state! We will be back!!

Experiencia fantástica: East State Vet. What can I say. Our family is still complete because of you. Our white kitty Luna wasnt eating or drinking. Vomiting white foam. X-ray, blood work, ultrasound...all clear. Physical exam... Checked out. Her vomiting began late Saturday night the night of the big snowfall and we took her to the emergency vet, and back again on Sunday. Oh and my wife was 35 weeks pregnant. On that Monday we went to our veterinarian who suggested a feeding tube so she did not slowly starve to death. I know, hard to read...and harder to hear. They inserted a feeding tube and coached us how to feed her with syringes. Slowly she started to gain some weight. Her behavior changed a bit for the better. But she had no interest in "real food". Very confusing and frustrating! Fast forward 2 weeks and we are near the end of the feeding tube. Luna has nibbled on wet food so there are signs of hope! The feeding tube is removed and we are sent home to watch her for a full day to see if she goes back to normal. We never really get the chance to do this because we are called in by our doctor to immediately go back to the emergency room after some concerning blood work regarding the pregnancy. Long story short, our baby was ready to come early! As many thoughts as we had regarding that news. We also knew we had a sick cat at home that would almost certainly die if left alone for that long. So we called East State as soon as we could and they arranged to board her. They gave us an unbelievable deal knowing Luna's circumstances and our family's latest addition was coming. They provided cheerful and encouraging messages about Luna our entire hospital stay. Our (human) baby has been home for just over 24 hours at the time I'm writing this and we got to pick Luna up today! They were introduced and so far so good! She has ate a little bit. We would be unable to have been a complete family without East State Vet! The entire staff was outstanding. They showed great heart and understanding for our unique circumstances. Thank you all!

Experiencia fantástica: Took my baby girl to get spayed. Dr Andrist and her entire staff made us feel at home. I can’t say enough good things about the wonderful people who work here! I don’t like to choose favorites, but if I had to, I would choose Jessica. Her pre-op phone calls and calming tone helped ease my worries about this surgical procedure. I would also place Suzy on that same pedestal. These are the type of women you could trust with your checkbook and credit card!

I was calling around for a surgery that was for my dog & unfortunately this vet was booked out (considering it was urgent surgery). She suggested another place & because of that timing I was able to get in there from a cancelation. My girl is already in recovery and it possibly saved her. Just wanted to let you know thank you for your kindness when I was stressed calling around time for this & everyone was booked out.

They saved his life all while keeping me calm and never getting flustered over the millions of questions I had. I cant say enough good things. Experiencia fantástica: I brought my kitten in to have some surgeries performed. The staff was very friendly and helpful morning. I dropped him off. Service was excellent! The day I picked him up, they took time to go over all of the postop information and provided me with paperwork. They even called me the following day to check on him.

My dog is severely anxious and has some behavioral issues, so naturally I was nervous how he would react at the vet. Dr. Fleming and all the staff handle him wonderfully every time. The receptionists at the front are always prompt and helpful when I have questions. I feel the pricing here is very fair too. I’m thankful that I can take my dog here!

The technician and veterinarian introduced themselves and listened very well to questions and concerns. Services were offered appropriate to the age and weight of our kitten. A follow-up appointment was scheduled and payment for services all took place in the room, which surprised me! The vet was tech savvy on top of being a good Doctor!

From our very first visit, the staff made them feel safe and calm, and I could instantly tell they were in good hands. I recently got a puppy, and the way the team treats every animal like a star is just amazing. They always show off each pet to the staff in the back like they’re part of the family. Everyone here is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient. It’s clear they genuinely care about every animal that walks through their doors. I’ve never had a bad experience and honestly don’t think I ever will. This is the only place I’ll trust with my fur babies from now on. Highly, highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: East State Vet used to be my primary vet. Ive been disappointed by other vets pushing products I don't need and not actually helping my animals. I STILL like the VETS... but idk if they got a new receptionist in the last 6 months- year because whoever she is .. she is rude and unpleasant. She acts like you a bothering her when you call in to ask basic questions or get quotes, mind you East State is by far not the cheapest in town and I still preferred them. I didnt even get a call back today when I called and left a voicemail for a quote for a canine extraction.... called the new vet within MINUTES had a quote and was able to book an appointment. Again this is nothing against the vets, they do a great job, but I wil not be returning due to the receptionist.

Experiencia negativa: We are finished with this place. The service has gone downhill for the last couple of years, and the level of snottiness of the staff has skyrocketed. The person taking payments this morning has no idea of what good Customer service is. She was snotty and arrogant. When the "technician" brought my dog out after the trim, she didn't even notice his paw was bleeding. For some reason, my dog's harness was removed during the nail trim, and he was allowed to run loose into the public area, which fortunately was empty at the time, This place is a joke anymore. They overcharge for everything, and the quality of service has plummeted. We have made our last visit to this place. I would give ZERO stars if it was possible.

Excellent communication, up front and honest, took time to answer all the questions I had as I’ve never had an animal that was needing surgery before and gave me honest feedback on their thoughts on the situation with my cat, Oliver. They also sent me pictures every morning while he was there with an update on how he was doing (3 day stay). They were also very generous and worked with us on the bill. Will be staying with them as our vet. Extremely pleased and blessed we happened to stumble across them.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love ESVC! Dr. Andrist has been following Coco since she was a pup & we couldn’t be more blessed. From knee surgeries, needing to be seen last minute, getting oral surgery, to her yearly check-ups. Dr. A and her team have always cared for us with compassion, care and love. Everyone knows Coco and her diva personality but they handle her so well. Needless to say they are the only ones who can trim her nails. We appreciate you guys!

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was very nice and smiled when she talked to me. Vet assistant was wonderful with my dog Nahla. Loved that she cut her nails even though I hadn’t had a chance yet to ask. The veteran was awesome! She checked her over quickly and was very gentle with her as she is such a scaredy-cat with strangers. All in all I gives high marks to everyone who came in contact with my baby girl.

We very much struggled to afford the surgery our cat needed, and I feel like they tried to work with us as much as they could to make it as feasible as possible. We ended up having the surgery for our cat, and she is recovering. The morning after our cats surgery, they texted this lovely photo and let us know how she did through the night. My daughter loved receiving the picture.They were recommended by two of my other friends, and now I join them in saying, I highly recommend them also.

Experiencia negativa: Over the years we have taken 9 animals there. They used to care and be very gentle and loving. These past few years they had not only mixed up our animals medical history and have no records of one of our dogs having tendon surgery that they most definitely did. They diagnosed our dog with a disease stating it was not curable or treatable with anything other than medicine. We have now switched providers and found out that was not the case but it is too late to reverse the damage that it has done. I will never again recommend this place. I used to recommend it to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Taking my Service Dog to East State Veterinary gives me a sense of assurance that my 4-legged buddy is getting quality medical attention, service and care. My dog remains calm during shots, blood work and the exam. It is quite apparent they know how to calm dogs when they're getting poked and prodded. I've been to other vets with past dogs, but I feel at home with East State Veterinary. I need to since this is my working dog.

Each time I’ve had complicated situations, multiple staff members have taken the time to explain my options, provide detailed cost estimates, and gave me time to ask plenty of questions. Experiencia fantástica: Our sweet girl has been going to East State since we moved to the area in 2016. She has always been cared for and is a staff favorite! She was just diagnosed with cancer and will be having surgery next week. The diagnosis was unexpected but handled with care and compassion by our vet. The surgery is affordable and will slow the progression of the disease so we can spend her last couple of years with her in good health.

Went well. Appt was not with Dr. Dzeik who we usually see but as reported by my son all went well. 11-28-23 Wonderful service! Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! Dr. Dziak took time with each of my dogs and didn't rush through their appt. The tech, who I believe was Riley, helped me get the dogs back out to my car after the visit. All of my concerns were addressed. And when my little one seemed to be in some pain I called in and got right on giving her some anti-inflamatory meds which really helped my little girl! 3-12-24 Another great visit! Staff is friendly and Dr. Dziak is wonderful! 3-9-25 Staff wonderful as always!! East state vet is the best!

This latest visit was for a neuter, Cash was in excellent hands. The Doctor herself calls to let us know how it went and talks over his aftercare. Very thorough with instructions. We love the East State staff and will never trust anyone else to treat our bulldogs!

Experiencia positiva: I’m extremely grateful for the NEIV because they have always been there to take care of my dog. However, I think they run unnecessary tests and X-rays in order to get as much money out of people as they can. I also think they are understaffed. It’s hard to give a bad review when they help your pet - but I’ve been there twice and spent over 3K! My dog is worth it and I’d pay anything to keep him healthy - the problem I see with this is that MOST pet owners would do this and I believe they know that and take advantage. With that being said….I am grateful they helped my dog and I believe he was given good care and the people there seem to care!

Today at E State they seamlessly examined and vaccinated my skiddish cat!! They were super friendly, approachable, and gave me great tips. Me and Zo will be going back again next year!!! Thanks E State! You’ve dispelled my vet fears!
