Experiencia fantástica: The community cat program exceeds any expectations I have ever had of an organization. The director of the program goes above and beyond normal customer service. Any donations such as wet cat food, blankets ect. to this place to keep helping the community with animals should make your heart smile! It is the least one can do after such an economical price for helping our pets.

Experiencia positiva: Took my cat for shot updates and nail trim. The tech was great with her. Normally my cat is aggressive towards strangers, but she had no issues with this tech. Next month our other cat goes in.

Experiencia positiva: Just brought both my cats in for a neuter surgery, and the experience was excellent. Originally was a bit stressed about the process, but the amount of information they give made the whole process incredibly easy. Appreciate the amount of educational emails and texts that I received, helped a lot to gain the knowledge to help my cats through the whole process. Unfortunately one of my cats seemed to have peed in his carrier, came home covered in it. I mostly blame the cat on this one however as he has a been known to do this recently, but unsure currently of how long they are kept in the carrier as they are held most of the day for surgeries, or how often they get potty breaks.

Experiencia negativa: We have been to this walk in 3 times and only been able to actually see someone once. We adopted our cat and the first time we were able to get into the vet was for the 10 day visit Humane requires if you want to be able to continue to adopt from them. The last time, our cat had an issue with her eye and the front desk receptionist told us “just use eye drops it will be fine”, and sent us away along with refusing to get her shots done that day because she was a day younger than 3 months, even though the date on the paperwork they gave was the day we went in. Today we went in over an hour before they closed and was told they couldn’t accept walk-ins due to high traffic. There was a group of people(workers I assume) standing around when they could’ve taken my cat to do 2 simple shots and send us on our way. The front desk lady was rude and abrupt which did not help the situation. I was told they can only see 30 people on a Saturday and that they’ve seen 40 so no can do. We work during the normal business hours of the week and Saturday’s are the only day we have the time to do this. We drive over an hour from NW Ohio with a cat that despises car rides to here because we want to trust in the place that did so well with the adoption process. But being turned away now twice with no alternative option has left me unfathomably disappointed with Humane FW. I now have to drive all the way back with said cat who hates being in a carrier/car. I will always recommend the shelter itself to adopt but never again will I step foot inside the Wellness Clinic.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave 0 I absolutely would. Brought in a stray cat. I told them i had only had her inside for a couple of days. I was coming in to get her seen to make sure she wasn’t pregnant. They immediately started the exam and turned the cat carrier upside down to slide the cat out with no introduction. The stray did even get to sniff the vet tech or the doctor before they dumped her out. The stray fell off of the table onto the floor. They then put on gloves and tried to pick the stray up. The stray ended up scratching me as I helped them get her back into the carrier because she was once again falling off of the table. They then told us they could not help us today. Absolutely zero respect for the animal. Will not be back. Do better as a facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my cats who are pretty fearful here this morning, and it was our easiest, best vet visit to date! It was clean, quick and easy. The exam and vaccines were thorough but not lengthy. They were gentle and kind with my fearful cats. Everything is set up in order to make you and your pets feel comfortable and safe. The veterinarian and vet techs were incredibly kind and great at their jobs. Check in was quick and easy; every employee I encountered was friendly! The vet took extra time to ask if I had any questions and took time to make sure I was thoroughly informed and knew my cats were in good health up to date on their vaccinations. I would recommend this walk-in clinic. I got there around 9:30 a.m. I was done by 10:10. There were about two other people there with pets when I visited and it was Thursday morning. The wellness checks and two vaccines per cat totaled $110, and I was able to pay with debit card. They take credit and cash as well.

Experiencia negativa: **THEY STOP TAKING WEEK DAY WALK-INS AT 5PM** Showed up at 5:40 to get my cat his rabies vaccine updated only to be told that they stop taking walk-ins at 5PM. If you are going to stop taking walk-ins an hour before the scheduled closing time then you should update your hours to reflect that. The only thing on the website that addresses stoping walk-ins is if it is busy and there were extended wait times. There was only one other car in the parking lot and it was completely empty inside. Now I have my cat stressed out from riding in the car for 40 minutes only to have to do it again when I can get there on a weekend as the weekday hours are unreliable.

Experiencia negativa: They are the worst. They close whenever they want at any time, so don’t trust their posted scheduled hours that they have because they are not true. And there’s no point in calling them because they litterally never answer the phone. If you leave a message and if you’re super lucky you might get a call back. Super unprofessional. If you come in and they decided to close, they will tell you to come back tomorrow in the morning, because for some reason they think people don’t have jobs and just have time to come to them at any given moment.

I only brought my newest kitty there because they could see him right away and i was amazed at the professional atmosphere and the love I saw in everyone's reaponses. Make sure you support this organization with donations as well as promptly paid bills.

We had a horrible experience with getting our first cat neutered at Aboite vet and I wish we would have taken him here as well. Thank you for all you do for animals!

Experiencia fantástica: Truly love this place, our family dig Tommy boy has horrible anxiety from another vet when getting his nails done they had cut them way to short where he bleed for almost 2 hours at the vet, and the lady was extremely mean, now Tommy thinks everytime his nails get done, he is going to get hurt, so now we have to put a muzzle on him, but they are so understanding and caring here, so glad I talked my uncle into coming here over 6 years ago! The staff are amazing!!

Experiencia fantástica: They are very helpful and more cost effictive than most. They don't offer every service but do a lot still. They can spay or neuter your cat or dog for a fraction of the price compared to other vets. They also can provide deworming and offer flea treatment/prevention for a low price. If you want to find a good deal, I highly suggest you call them and see if they provide the service or product you are looking for.

Experiencia positiva: I really used to love this place before they were taken over. This last year, they have added so many extra fees and charges into their package that it's been very discouraging. They charged me extra because they let hair fly into the surgical area and had to clean it up. I didn't shave the cat and "contaminate" the surgical area, so why are they charging me?

Puppy was never nervous and had a good experience. So happy to get her necessary shots on a place with kind people.

Experiencia negativa: Not a good experience at all. Drove 45 mins to bring my dog in for a rabies shot. Got here at 3pm and clearly the sign says walk ins until 4. If you guys can’t handle the capacity then you need to change your walk in hours. Disorganized

Very organized and smooth. When i checked in and out everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions(3rd time dog owner, but 1st time going through spaying/neuter process, other puppies were neutered when I got them). The staff put me completely at ease! Thank you Fort Wayne Humane!! Very very impressed with the customer service and how well everything is being run. I had to reach out to them a few days after her surgery when my Coonhound got caught up in the metal table and startled her and she ended up pulling it across the room. I was so worried that she split open her incision and staff was great when I called and texted them. I was blaming myself ( can't keep my Coonhound down, ). They put my mind at ease and responded with don't blame yourself. Great staff and place!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Such a nice place to take your animals when they are in need of shots. The ladies took really good care of my 2 dogs named Luna and Maggie. And Maggie is such a momma's puppy that she hated going and was scared but she was happy afterwards and came running to me. It mad me feel good . But I'm glad that they got the care that they both needed and it's affordable too.

I brought in two community cats to their spay/neuter program, and they provided excellent surgical and medical care with the utmost compassion and all at a reasonable cost. It was a very busy clinic with so many pets and their owners already in line at 7 AM. Kudos to the veterinarians, technicians, and all the other staff involved in providing the best possible care to cats, dogs, and the multitude of animals they see on a day to day basis.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited the clinic recently and was more than impressed! I had a bit of a concern that there'd be long lines out the door of pets and their owners in high summer temps. But it was nothing like that! The clinic ran smoothly and efficiently; and best of all the staff was amazing!! I especially appreciated the gal who was running the check-in and check-out desk. Because I'd never been there before, she was super helpful in helping me nagivate my initial visit to the clinic! Thank you for offering this option to the pet parent community!!

The staff is so kind and patient with all of the impatient public walk-ins. From the docs to the techs to the intake... These people really are a gift to the animal Kingdom of our community!

Experiencia fantástica: Took our cat here to get spayed. Appointments are posted on 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Making appointment was super easy. Prices are amazing. Line was long surgery morning but check in went quickly. Pick up seemed to take a little longer but it wasn't terrible. The clinic is ran like a well-oiled machine. Yuna is doing great and I'll continue taking her there for her yearly wellness visits. You can't beat the prices. Please donate to Humane Fort Wayne.

He is friendly, but did hear one person talk about how overwhelming it is when we drop the animals off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. I do appreciate their pricing, because if not for them, many animals would not be able to be fixed

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and responsive. I found out by taking my dog in that he is reactive and they made accommodations to help with his anxiety. After he got neutered his incision opened and they immediately answered my call and got him in with the surgeon. I only had to pay $10 for antibiotics. I will take my animals here from now on.

Experiencia negativa: Being Someone who rescues cats at my own expense, this place has helped me save many furry lives. Sad that they more than doubled the cost of everything once they merged with animal control. The merge was supposed to be such a good thing, but its clearly NOT as there's now several cats a year I can't take on because of the increase in cost. From the spay & neuter prices going from $30 to now $75, the cost or dewormer going from $7 to now $15. The sudden extreme jump is ridiculous!

The facility is so clean the price for our pets shots are very reasonable if it wasn't for them a lot of people wouldn't be able to afford to get their pets vaccinations. They were great with her and I loved the cost too. Highly recommend to anyone looking for basic care for their pets. We got updated shots and had them get my dogs microchip info for me that I lost. The tech was so nice and friendly.

I have to go to library to apply for surgery and to be seen still can't get through. I unfortunately will be giving my cat up for adoption. Trying to find a good place. If he got his shots and neutered I would hope he will settle down rather than wild child he is now 3 stars cause I can't get anything accomplished

Experiencia negativa: Trying to charge me 35 dollars to clipp my cats claws when I have been paying 20. They say its because she is not fixed. Thats really sad to upcharge just because she is not fixed. What does that have to do with her claws being trimmed, absolutely nothing. Thats like saying I'm not going to cut your hair if your not fixed.

Experiencia fantástica: They are very friendly and informative. They took great care of my doggies. My dogs got a spay and neuter, and they were very happy coming back to me. I also appreciated that they have a low income program for spay and neutering your animals on their website. This helped me to get my dogs fixed and it only cost me $50. After the surgery they also gave me a coupon for $$ off of a vet visit. I recommend thus place. The picture is how my girl feels after her surgery LOL she cant run around just yet.

The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because I can't ever get through when I call and have to listen to the recording every 10 seconds..it's super annoying then having to continuously press 1 to continue waiting. I must have heard the recording over 100x now and still havent gotten through to anyone. We will see if they return my call.

Experiencia negativa: Got there at 1:15pm on Monday for nail trim and heartworm pills. Waited for over 1 hour and gave up and left. Other dogs went before mine that came in after me. Also heartworm was 3 pills allowed for 45$ and six pills was the same price but able to buy 6 pills because blood test needed in 3 months. Had much better before and would have been rated much higher. Was not given any reason it was taking so long. Went to real vet and paid twice as much for 3 pills but in and out in 10 minutes. Still no nail trim.

Experiencia negativa: I love their spay and neuter mission but our recent visit was disappointing. I took a big dog there for vaccinations and they brought him back out saying he was being difficult and they couldn't do it (and they wouldn't let me go in the room with him).

Experiencia fantástica: They now have no funding, so prices have increased a little and it's much harder to get in with them, but it's worth the trouble for the amount you save and they're really kind, caring people. I do miss the free donation stuff they used to give away in the shop side though! lol.
