Fantastic experience: Both Vets at Heather Ridge Pet hospital are outstanding. I recently was blessed with being able to get a dog for the first time in twenty years. They take the time to answer all of my questions and provide pretty good guidance on raising the dog. They are also handle my dog wonderful and have given her shots that the dog doesn't even notice. It could be the treats she is inhaling though. I would recommend them for all pet medical needs.

Fantastic experience: My cat, Buddy, was due for vaccination (Rabies, etc.) and his annual exam. I booked his appointment online. We got great service from both the doctor and the vet tech. I had some questions that were answered and I got advice about getting him a different scratching post.

Fantastic experience: They took great care of my cat and finding out why she was so sick. They were very caring and provided much support during her transition over the rainbow bridge.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Clementson takes time to answer all my questions, and my cats feel very comfortable with her. She also took the time to answer some detailed questions for a friend who came with me to the visit, was well-informed and gave thoughtful responses. This time I saw Dr. Andersen, and she was very thorough in explaining everything to me. She was also gentle with my cat, which he appreciated. It's nice to have Dr. Clementson back! My cats just had a checkup, but she's always thorough and gentle.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful clinic! Got me in last minute to get my dogs shots updated, were very pleasant and friendly and they treated my dog like he was their own. He walked in a happy dog and walked out a happy dog. No long wait time, and the appt took about 15 mins. Such a change from my previous clinic.

Jullz wasn’t super happy about getting her shots but Dr. Curry was quick and effective and made sure to work with her boundaries while still being thorough.

Negative experience: We do not recommend using this business if your pet needs regular medications. Their vets stopped working with Chewy Pharmacy and they now force you to drive in, grab the Script, and mail it to Chewy. They offer an in house pharmacy which is significantly more expensive. What costs $10 on Chewy is $36 in house. Thats another $312/year on just one med. We have others so my annual costs will likely exceed +$800/year in meds alone. They've also been pushing my dog to get vaccines 6 months earlier than they're due. I'm not sure why these changes are occurring. Unfortunately, with everything else being so dang expensive nowadays, it doesn't make sense to continue to use a vet who adds complications and more hassle to my life. Not to mention increase my costs exponentially.

Fantastic experience: Our dog always gets the best care and treatment! They keep her healthy, and always know how to get her back on track if she's ever unwell!

Fantastic experience: We loved the separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats. We were immediately taken to an exam room. All of the staff had a genuine love for animals and were very friendly with our puppy.

Fantastic experience: We took our dog there for the first time and it was really easy to get in as a new patient. The staff were super friendly and made everything so simple and easy which I love since juggling a toddler and two large dogs is mostly chaos. They had to take xrays of my dogs leg and they gave me an estimate upfront and it was a reasonable price. The Dr. Came in an explained everything in a way I could understand and took the time to answer all my questions. She also was very patient because as we were talking my toddler was running around the room. And as my dog was under they clipped his nails which I thought was really thoughtful and im very thankful for it. Overall I'd go back to Heather Ridge Pet Hospital again.

Fantastic experience: I needed to get my dog into a vet right away without taking her to the ER and I checked multiple places in sioux falls and everyone was several weeks out and I was able to get in right away but also they went above and beyond of what I expected them to do and took very good care of my pet I will definitely make Heather ridge my veterinary clinic and will recommend them to everyone

Fantastic experience: Staff is so friendly and addresses all of my concerns with my pet. Always clean and always so helpful. I’ve had a few different vets at this location and have had good results either well. You can definitely tell they take your concerns with your pet seriously which is so important when your pet is part of your family.

Fantastic experience: I have a 5 year old German Shepard who is anxious at vet visits. Previous visits have been hard to watch. This clinic asked for history of how he’s behaved at visits and based off the information I shared, they were proactive in order to make the visit more comfortable for him. The provided some medication to help sedate him and also had me call when I arrived to assure his room was ready for him. They helped educate us on our concerns with his skin, gave us advice to help his early arthritis and made sure to give him a lot of love during his visit. 10 out of 10 recommend this clinic!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best experience we have had with a vet in Sioux Falls. They took the best care of our French Bulldog, her c-section being a simple and successful procedure was their top priority which put our minds at ease. I could not be more thankful our fur baby is in the best hands!!

They answered all of the questions we had, let us know her c-section was a priority and that they would take care of everything which put our minds at ease! Fantastic experience: I love Heather Ridge! Every time I have taken either of my cats they have been great. Both the vet and vet techs make sure to take time and care for my cats and their needs. Both Dr. Curry and Dr. Anderson make sure to explain every possible situation thoroughly when my cats have been sick and make sure I understand what my options are. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: The veterinarian and vet staff were friendly and considerate of my dogs as well as other pet patients and their parents, making the experience relaxing and a positive one for all. They were open to sharing details and questions alike during our private session. My dogs felt comfortable as could be in meeting the staff and being handed off for getting weighed. I would recommend this vet clinic.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get my kitty cat buddy in for a routine checkup fairly quickly. The staff were all kind and made Ziggy (my cat) feel comfortable and welcomed. He had to have his rabies vaccination updated, and they did such a good job that he didn't even notice he had gotten a shot If you are looking for a vet that you can trust to take care of your furry friends, you should give Heather Ridge a try.

Fantastic experience: My pup was injured and they listened to me and took really great care of him. Today we saw Dr Curry. She and her vet tech did some great teaching and I was able to see my boy feel better by the time the pain meds kicked in.

Fantastic experience: Had my dog and cats 1st checkup here today after we've taken them to 2 Sioux Falls vets that were subpar. It was the 1st ever vet visit where my cat didn't come home and hide like she was scared to death and their checkups were very cost effective. Along with that we were misdiagnosed about our cats dental problems at 1 of the other 2 vets we previously took her to and she was given a clean bill of health on her teeth where we were told she doesn't need teeth removed because they are fine. Heather Ridge Pet Hospital does not seem like all of the other vets here in Sioux Falls that just care about your money, but rather the actual care of your animals and the people were so friendly and helpful. Definitely found our forever vet for any pets we have/will ever have in the future going forward. Thank you guys for being awesome. Dr. Anderson, you are the best

Fantastic experience: Our first ever visit went smooth, pretty pricey but smooth. I felt like they listened. That was in September 24. My dog had an emergency last week, Jan 25 and I sent an email as I was sick with no voice, and around 8 am on a Saturday I got a response he could be seen so that made me extremely grateful. This visit I knew would be expensive cause we had no idea what was going on and my dog has mast cell grade 2 cancer to top that off. So we had some x-rays, bloodwork, a biopsy done and the whole 9 yards and I felt well communicated to, they listened to my concerns, discussed all options with me. I left feeling the money was worth it. My dog is my 2nd child. Now if we could just make pets tax credit eligible, that would be amazing! Thank you guys.

She has called personally to check in on him during an illness & will make time to see your furbaby in an emergency. All the staff @ HeatherRidge is great!!

Fantastic experience: We were visiting from out of town when our Golden Retriever, Luke, started limping and licking his paw incessantly. We googled veterinarians in Sioux Falls and were able to get an appointment that afternoon at Heather Ridge Pet Hospital. The tech and Dr. Anderson were wonderful with Luke, determining he had lost his small toenail. Ouch!! We got the cone and meds. We can't say enough good things about this clinic. Wish they were in our hometown!

Fantastic experience: As always, excellent care! I have been bringing my pups to Heather Ridge Pet Hospital for over 15 years. From routine care, to working with you through final stages of your beloved pet, the staff not only forms a relationship your your pet, but also their owners. We recently acquired a very neglected pup. Having him only 4 days, we took him in to be neutered and they saw how afraid he was and spent extra time with him cuddling and comforting him to let him know he is in a safe place. Sending pictures to us throughout the day ensured us we entrust the correct staff to provide the best care to our animals! Thank you for all you do!!! We appreciate you!

There are two separate areas, one for dogs and one for cats. This place looked neat and clean.The staff was super kind, friendly and knowledgeable!

Negative experience: So disappointed in veterinary care for aging pets! There needs to be more education and better preventative care measures that don't cost thousands! The last couple years I've been trying to figure out why my cat wasn't himself /going #2 outside of the litter box. I've spent at least $1,200 with tests , x-ray, appointments.... and all I was told was.... he has digestive disease issues..... Now here we are 10 months later finding out my cat Dudley has liver disease and it's too late to do anything about it!! Makes you feel pretty defeated

Fantastic experience: Every time we come here, my dog gets roomed immediately which is super helpful for a dog reactive dog. The vets and vet techs are experienced in body language and always give my dog space. They take their time and make sure he is comfortable. They give licki mats to keep him content and I love they have adaptil in each room! They always give a correct diagnoses and I have never felt I spent too much money or wasted money here. I believe the prices are fair for the experience and professionalism
