All City Pet Care East

Positive experience: I brought my dog, Jay, in yesterday for his rabies shot and had a wonderful experience with the staff. The nurses were very efficient, getting us into a room quickly and making sure we were both comfortable. The doctor was fantastic she not only handled the vaccination smoothly but also took the time to review Jay’s old vet records and offer personalized advice based on his breed and age. My only hesitation is that the pricing felt a bit high, but the quality of care almost makes up for it.

Fantastic experience: We always go to All City. We like Dr. Stephanie. We've taken three cats and four dogs to them. Always great. Sometimes she isn't available and we see one of the other doctors. They are also great. All clearly love animals, are friendly and spend as much time as needed to answer any questions. 9/15/22 Just had our pup spayed. Dr.Tim, Dr. Stephanie's spouse did the "laser" surgery. Our pup was a little slow last evening, but is back to normal today! Highly recommend. Have wife's Dad's older dog since May of '23. He needed dental work after years of no care. Dr. Stephanie was, as always, great to work with. Just took him and our pup in for annual exams. Dr. Stephanie explained various treatment options for the old boy. She sat on the floor with him to do the exam! Can't recommend All City Pet Care East highly enough. They're great! 2/13/25 Took one of the cats in for annual checkup and shots. Usually have to wait a few minutes to get taken to a room, but this time was just about immediate. Very impressed and pleased. When the tech was done, Dr. Stephanie was in the room so quick she must of been waiting just to see us! Bought some dog "stuff" at a big box store that needed a prescription from a vet. Dr. Stephanie reply to them pronto. Very pleased, as always. Have two more cats with visits in March. Had to split them up as dealing with three cats at once is like, well, herding cats. Look forward to our checkup. 2-11-26 Just went with the cats. Well, since one ran off and hid, cat. Fast and informative visit. Dr. Stephanie told me I could bring the other cat in if I could find it and she would fit me in. Of course that cat was sitting in her chair totally innocent. Took her in and had a second great visit. I am really surprised how accommodating they are at All City East. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Emily has been absolutely amazing. The past few months have been challenging with my little ones at home, and she has made everything so easy and stress-free. I’m hoping the tough times are behind us, but I can’t praise her enough for her compassion and expertise with animals.

Fantastic experience: The staff is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient each time we've needed them. Dr. Paul is top notch in the field and has taken great care of our Yorkie-Poo through the years including several surgeries, all of which turned out wonderfully! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My mature female dog had a bladder blockage. I was able to get an appointment promptly. The staff was professional and kind. They treated me and my dog with respect and tenderness. After showing me an x-ray and explaining the stones forming in her bladder, they advised a treatment plan. They used a catheter to empty her bladder and get a urine sample. I left with an antibiotic prescription, a prescription dog food for urinary treatment, and a dog that was already much better.

Fantastic experience: Everything was great. The vet answered all our questions and concerns and handle our dog very well. We have been going to this clinic since we moved to Sioux falls. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Negative experience: I caution anybody going here to request an estimate for anything that You will agree to have done to your animal. I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this vet, and they have always given me an estimate prior to dental or other procedures being done except for this last time I was unable to take my dog in and had my 17 year-old son go as she was getting spayed. I had a crazy few days of meetings and was not able to go to her initial appointment or to drop her off. But I went to pick her up. It was a $755 bill which I wasn’t expecting because no estimate was given. buyer beware for sure. Luckily, I was able to afford to pay that price, but some people may not be so lucky and that kind of miss information and shady business practices could really hurt somebody financially.

Fantastic experience: Dr Charity is the best! I have 4 guinea pigs and she is very knowledgeable and I can tell she loves them. Thank you!

Negative experience: I've used all city west my whole life, and after trying to use the east, im contemplating never using all city at any location ever again. I moved to the east side, attempted to switch to the All City East, I have never met such an incompetent and uncaring staff. Brought a sick cat to them 3 or 4 times, no help. Go back to west once, its taken care of. West is closed, so I try to get them to write and fill my cats eyedrops, and they said the medical records given by all city west aren't enough to get more eyedrops. Whats the point in all city west having sent medical records. Now my cat has to sit in discomfort all weekend because all they care about is getting paid for a visit, not actually helping.

Fantastic experience: DR Paul is always the best. Dexter my dauchsund ended up having heart failure. DR Paul explained the X-rays and did some blood tests. Thankfully the labs came back and were normal. He was started on Lasix and an Ace Inhibitor. He is doing so much better already. Thank you DR Paul!!

Fantastic experience: Our dog needed a last minute visit on a Friday and they squeezed her in and were so caring and kind! All of the staff were amazing and very nice!

Fantastic experience: The 16th will be a year since I lost my buddy, my PSA service animal, The Human Dog, Bond! After months and months, this past August I was able to not just drive to the office but finally get out of my vehicle and go inside and thank Dr. Charity and her incredible staff! Although she only cared for Sir Bond for his last years, I can say with confidence that it was his best care!!! The pain in Dr. Charity’s eyes when we decided it was time to be loving and not selfish and let him go was real, palpable and genuine. The aftercare, arranging with Forever Friends to immediately pick him up, their incredible help and support as well, in arranging his eventual burial after winter, well the Tim’s’ were amazing, and back to All City East, the card, signed by the entire clinic, Bond’s paw prints, and the other thoughtful things they sent us were so much appreciated. I would unhesitatingly trust any animal to her care! I know I told you when I saw you, but thank you again! I will hate December 16th for the rest of my life, but it’s tempered by the love we received from you!

Negative experience: Very disappointed after my first, and will be only visit to this vet clinic. After moving to Sioux Falls recently I needed to new vet for my dog. I made an appointment, I received a text from the clinic requiring a still sample for the dog. Upon my appt they told me the stool wasn’t necessary and threw it away. The vet seemed nice enough. Spent a few minutes with us, gave the dog two vaccines and we paid and left. When I received my emailed receipt I saw that I was charged a “waste disposal fee”. This made me very upset as I was told to bring in the poop and though unnecessary, they just threw it away. I called to ask about this and was told it might not be for that, it was probably for cleaning the room. CLEANING THE EXAM ROOM. This is absolutely ridiculous. Have you ever heard of a clinic or hospital charging patients to clean the room between patients?! If my dog had soiled the floor that would be one thing. But he didn’t. Hidden fees like this are such a scam. I won’t be returning to this clinic regardless of the convenience to my house.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff was very friendly. They were able to get Loki in to be seen right away, even as a new patient. Emily was wonderful in explaining everything to me while we were there during our visit and taking the time to talk with me about Loki's test results and options on the phone the next day.

Fantastic experience: Every time I go to All city pet care East I feel like my dogs are taken care with great compassion and understanding. I will always be take my animals to them!

Fantastic experience: We got an appointment within a week of calling! Most vets we've visited schedule out more than a month. Incredible service. Dr Paul was very understanding and kind. He told me everything and was super considerate of me not understanding very much about feline development. They were pretty busy, but Dr. Paul definitely took his time to help me understand what was going on with my kitty. Only thing that I didn't love was the waiting area has no separation between cats/dogs. We're were big rowdy dogs there twice during my visit, which obviously my cat wasn't super fond of. But he'll survive lol

Fantastic experience: I was greeted by the front desk staff and they petted and talked to my dog. My dog was weighed and we were directed into an exam room right away. A tech asked a few standard questions regarding any concerns I might have, and Dr Paul came in soon after. He spent several minutes examining her and checking her over. I was asked lots of questions about get daily routines and eating habits. He also gave her lots of love, and she gave him lots of licks and kisses. I have never felt rushed in that office; they all take care in treating her so well.

Negative experience: This is my bulldog Vader, or should I say was my bulldog. Always in my heart will be. This photo was Taken on Monday 10/6/2025. We noticed him whining around his potty times so we called and collected a urine sample, they tested it and he was diagnosed with a UTI and enlarged prostate when we took him in on 10/7 around 2 o'clock. He was prescribed enrofloxacin an antibiotic with no pain medicine. Anybody who practices any medicine would know a UTI would cause pain. Anyhow he seemed fine the rest of this day. Starting 10/8 is when the hell started, all day long he was having tremors and yelping in pain. We called multiple times to request pain medicine, and explained what was going on. They DID NOT CARE!! After taking care of him him entire life we kept being told Take him to the ER take him to the ER if there's a problem They would do nothing to help so we took him to the All City ER. Where we were told by there doctor that he should have been given pain medicine with the antibiotic and possibly nausea medicine as the antibiotic could cause this side effect. He did not eat or drink anything this entire day but we got the medicine down and it seemed to help so we thought we were headed in the right direction. On 10/9 when we got up he showed positive signs like moving around better, but he threw up his antibiotic, still he was showing signs of improvement, while still not eating or drinking. He appeared very wobbly and when we gave him his pain medicine he went downstairs to pee. Because his throat was dried out from not drinking and he was nauseous he choked on the pill and may have had a seizure. Despite the east location being 2 blocks away from my house, they did not care that this happened and said "THEY COULD ONLY GET HIM IN BY APPOINTMENT THE NEXT DAY!!! So we got him to the car and on the way to the ER again. On the drive he snapped out of it. So we went in and explained the situation, at the All City south location, and tried to get the nausea medicine they suggested he may need if he kept appearing drunk. However they would not give it to us unless we paid even more money Another $150 because the doctor he saw was not on duty and just to monitor and keep him resting. So we did that, Waited until 6 and went back to the ER, I explained the situation to the doctor and told him I thought the antibiotic was killing my dog, because none of this was happening prior to the start of taking it, and you would think after 3 doses we would be seeing signs of improvement. He agreed with that and decided we were going to do a nausea medicine and appetite suppressor to help him eat and when he started to eat and drink again we would start a new antibiotic. When we got home to give him his nausea medicine this time he choked again and started throwing up flem and we couldn't get out of get there in time and he died in my arms on the way to the ER. I held my hand a bit away from his nose while we were driving there and he took his last breath in the parking lot of the ER, with hope in my heart I picked him up and carried him in where he was pronounced dead. The pain and the anger in my heart from the lack of care really frustrates me. To them it seemed like he was just a # and $, to us we have had him since 2 weeks and he was nearly 10 years old and he brightened up anybody's day he graced. Me and his mom (my wife) are heartbroken. I recommend finding a place that treats your pets like humans.

Fantastic experience: An update; Dr. Paul and his team are super!! My Pomeraian, Josie, had a dental procedure 6 days ago. Dr. Paul and his wonderful team did such a geeat job! Josie's teeth look so much better. More importantly, Josie is feeling much better after having some bothersome teeth removed. Josie just turned 11 years old, has seizures and other health issues. Dr. Paul and the team were very careful with Josie and monitored her closel during the dental procedure. They gave her excellent care! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my fur baby and improving her quality of life! Dr. Nantke was knowledgeable and thorough in his examination of my dog, Josie, who has several medical problems, including seizures.

Fantastic experience: I loved that the service was very fast and safe. We didn't have to wait to update my cat's rabies vaccination, and they also helped us with registration. The vets were very kind and sweet with my Cleo.

Fantastic experience: Took my 2 dachshunds there to establish care since we just moved here. From start to finish they were very nice and accommodating. We got into a room right away , barely 2-3 min wait for the tech and the vet after that , answered all my questions and provided me with great information. Will definitely go back .

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Krenik and the entire team at All City Pet Care East. They have been caring for my dog Luka for several years now, and the level of compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals they show is unmatched. From a young age, we learned that Luka had hip dysplasia and would need several surgeries. Dr. Krenik treated Luka like one of his own and genuinely cared about his healing and progress- we can’t thank him enough for the care he has provided. Thank you all for everything you’ve done for us over the years.

Fantastic experience: New to the area and our 13 year old Yorkie was not doing well, had multiple issues and health decline. I found this Vet online and I called to see if I could bring him in to be seen. I spoke with Robin and she was so kind and understanding, she was able to get me in right away. I then saw Dr. Emily , who has to be one of the kindest and most compassionate doctors I have ever met. Dr. Emily really took the time to listen to me during my emotional state and examined my my guy. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done as he was terminal and declining quickly. We were able to bring him home and give him lots of love and say our good byes. The next day we brought him in to be put to rest. Again, all the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and show true compassionate and empathy during this difficult time. Dr. Emily, once again was amazing, our sweet boy went peacefully to the Rainbow Bridge. The care, compassion and customer service provided is genuine and priceless.

Positive experience: Wellness check for my two cats. Dr.Tim is excellent! I feel trimming my cats’ nails was quite expensive so probably will not have them do that next time. Other than that I like this clinic and staff.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. I was able to schedule an appointment pretty last minute, and once I was there they were quick to get my pet examined. My cat got her nails clipped, a physical exam, and two vaccines, all of which took less than 20 minutes. I will be returning!

Negative experience: Very disappointed! Went in for a heartworm blood test for my 2 dogs, a Boston terrier and an frenchie/pug mix, and left with a bill of $375! I got charged l $69 per dog for a wellness/physical exam, It’s meant to cover the vet actually checking your dog’s eyes, ears, mouth, heart, lungs, skin, abdomen, etc on them, and they haven’t even gotten touched/looked at by the vet at all (besides them drawing blood from them in the back room) $74 for the heartworms test, blood draw and lab processing. $74 is on the high end — many clinics charge $25–$50 $6 This is a disposal fee for needles, syringes, and blood tubes(which you would think that would’ve already been included in the heartworm blood test, which was already priced high! $38 for the nexguard plus tablet which I asked for on the spot( totally fine with that)!! I should’ve left with a bill of $224 not $375 Not to say we didn’t even feel welcomed, and were new clients as well! Definitely not going back !!! -_-

Fantastic experience: My dog was recently diagnosed with Addison’s disease after going into an Addisonian crisis. Dr. Charity and her team diagnosed him in time to save his life. He’s been going monthly since then for injections. They treat him so well and increase my comfort with handling the disease so my dog can have a happy, healthy life.

Fantastic experience: We had to put our dog of18 years down last week. I cannot praise Dr. Steph enough.Her compassion and heart felt words helped us soon much. Dr. Steph you are by far the greatest person and vet in our eyes. Thank you so very much for taking great care of Wilson ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office is incredible. I bring my dog to Dr.Emily and I'll never go to another vet -- she's honest, kind, and very helpful. She always takes the time to answer any of my questions (no matter how silly) and she's always been very straightforward about the care for my pup; she's always been able to give great advice and been able to address any concerns we've had -- if bedside manner exists for animals, her's is outstanding. The vet techs are also amazing and take the best care of anything we need -- any of them I've had contact with have been helpful and very sweet, even if they aren't doing the most fun procedures. I also have the most love for the staff up front -- my dog is still in her insane puppy phase and the ladies up front are always so cool and understanding when they're getting hyperactive dog jumps and licks when we come in. This entire building is full of kind and wonderful staff. I will never go to another business for animal care -- everyone here is so good even my dog gets excited when we go here, which should speak for itself.

Fantastic experience: The staff were friendly and got Loki quickly into the exam room. Paul is fantastic veterinarian. Loki was comfortable with him and behaved for him surprisingly well. I highly recommend All City Pet Care East. It's a clean, respectable place to take your pet.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Stephanie looks at my whole dog - physically and emotionally. I need to make some changes with my dog’s food yet she doesn’t want to interrupt her routine much - as she says small changes. I love her approach to my dog - she has so much respect for my love for my dog, she is very positive and always complimentary to my dog. I love Dr. Priesz and my dog does too!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Being new to the city, I searched a good pet clinic and this one came up. It has also come up by word of mouth. The clinic is clean and professionally run. We saw Dr. Krenik. The assisting staff was really patient and listened to my concerns and Dr Krenik was so nice and gentle with my anxious dog. It was a welcome change to the staff at our old clinic which was always busy and poorly run. This place also makes it easy to make appointments online or on the app.

Fantastic experience: It is very busy, for a reason .. top notch care and service , great paw plans available and they have great online access for making appointments, the app is easy to use as well. Ruby and Eddie love the care Dr Paul gives and he is always ready to listen and answer questions- Thank you for keeping my furry friends healthy!

Fantastic experience: We have 2 Wheaten terriers and they can be a handful. They love the staff at All City Pet Care. Dr. Priez is so gentle and kind with them and they’re never afraid of going to the vet. She is very knowledgeable. She is also cost conscious. They have suggestions on how to care for our dogs and answer any questions we may have with confidence. Our 2 pups always look forward to their treats too.

I really like Dr Emily Tschida she explains everything she's doing so your nit wondering and she really cares about the animals she takes care of, you can just tell and in my book that's awesome, I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Placed in a room quickly. The vet spent adequate time examining Merle & offering various suggestions. Everyone was very pleasant & accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Paul is awesome. Very kind and takes the time needed to reassure your pet. Our doxie barks at everyone (everything) initially, but not Dr. Paul! The office folks and techs are very pleasant and accommodating, as best their schedule allows.

Fantastic experience: We have been using All City Pet Care (West and East) for about 2 years now for our 2 cats Moose and Shinx. They are absolutely amazing. Diagnostics are always detailed and concise; every time we visit, whether a health checkup or for shots, we really feel like our cats are in the best care possible. Would give 10 stars if I could.

She is such an amazing human being and Veterinarian, going above and beyond for our animals and ensuring that we are getting the best care possible. Fantastic experience: Updating my review. Unfortunately, my dad's dog reached her end of life while we were visiting family in Sioux Falls this Christmas holiday. These folks were there for us and made Belle's passing as painless as possible. I'm grateful for them being there at the end, and for the heartfelt note they sent to us in Texas. I can 100% recommend this office. I don't do that often. Thank you again. --- I've never been in this place, but I know they are good people. My father used them for his dog, Belle. And he'd been a client for quite a while. So when my father missed an appt, they reached out to my sister (who also used their services). They were more concerned about my father than the missed appt. As it turned out, their call alerted us to a medical emergency that my father was having. We (my sisters and I) are forever grateful for that notice. I'm sorry I had to give you the bad news of my fathers passing over the phone. But Belle is enjoying her life down in Texas. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Came here to put my sweet little birdie on her last days to sleep. Staff were so understanding and kind, and sent me a condolences card with her feathers and footprints. They made my first time doing such a hard thing so much easier to go through, each of them went above and beyond explaining the process and comforting me as well. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic experience: Our almost 13 year old Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound was in for dental work. She doesn’t have a lot of teeth left and is a very dainty dog. Dr. Paul and all the technicians at All City East were very good with her and treated her gently. They contacted us the morning after her procedure to see how she was. I told them my concerns and they told me what to watch for. 24 hours after the procedure she is back to normal. This is a great place to take your pets!

Fantastic experience: This office was the only one in Sioux Falls that I could find to see our rabbit, Oliver. Our first appointment could not have gone better and the vet was very kind and easy to speak with. Surgery is scheduled and will inevitably go well in their expert care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Emily is our new favorite vet. She's terrific with our three kittens. Our kittens have had several visits because of ear mites and surgery after we got them from a rescue and each time Dr. Emily put our minds at ease while also solving whatever issues they are having. She handles them like a pro, and we are always amazed how good she is with them. We also very much appreciate the other staff. They are attentive, kind and professional and are very good at getting back with us when we have questions as well as doing a good job with scheduling. Thank you so much.
