Fantastic experience: These guys will forever have a special place in my heart even though Dr. Walker called Benjamin fat right to his face! Okay, so it was true. I had to chain the fridge door because he frequently had a hankerin' for a little sumpin' in the wee hours. We are currently planning a road trip to Minnesota and wondering if we can get vaccinated AND nails trimmed. Benjamin isn't invited because of his reputation as ham thief, but he is going anyway and I don't want him to have to wear socks on my stepmothers new oak floors! Anyone there willing to tackle him and clip the nails?

Positive experience: The service is good and The staff are friendly , and the actual appointment does not take long but expect to wait 2 hours if you’re doing a walk in. Also the prices they have listed for vaccines are not exactly accurate so I would ask them for an accurate estimate when you take your pet. Online it lists around $30-$40 for regular DAP and rabies but we paid closer to $80…

We took our pup in for shots and she gets nervous with new people and other dogs since we rescued her; but the staff and doctor were respectful and understanding when she got skittish. They got us in and out quickly even when we didn’t have an appointment. All the thanks!

Negative experience: Wow, I cannot believe this very bad experience. Don't take your pet here. Read the 1 star reviews.....I should have. I took my cat in to get neutered. The email said to drop him off at 7 am. My Dad took me. Once we checked in, the lady told us it would be 15 to 20 mins. My Dad then asked very politely, "Did you say 15 to 20 mins. We thought we were just dropping him off...." The lady got really rude and replied that, then there will be a physical and that we had been informed of the process in an email. My dad said "ok" and we took our seats. While we were sitting reading the email that they sent, it said nothing about the waiting and physical process. My Dad, very politely, asked the lady where it told us that.....that's when the really bad attitudes came from her and her manager that just appeared. They got really rude to my Dad. He put his hands in the air and said "hey there is no need for this...I was just communicating with this lady and asking a question." He sat down and we couldn't believe it. He wanted to leave, but we had already paid a 50 dollar deposit. He was sick about how they talked to him. So I told him to wait in the car. He wrote a review while he was out there. They responded to his review with a total lie. They said he had a bad attitude. NOT true. He was very polite and didn't deserve to be talked to that way. How dare you say that in response to his review. I am a witness and there were many other people in there too. You are liars and have a horrible lack of virtues and customer service. Shame on you, valley vetco. Don't take your babies here! Go somewhere else. If they would treat us this way, our pets aren't safe in their care. To lie in response to my Dad's review is disturbing. That shows zero accountability. They will violate us and our pets...then point the blame at us. Do jeopardize your animals wellbeing. I walked out and didn't get the service there. List 50 dollars...or paid 50 dollars to help you all out there avoid this place like the plague. No virtues at Valley Vetco.

Negative experience: Do not pay the deposit, and do not schedule an appointment here. This company doesn't believe in customer service. The manager lady and the girl up front have no business dealing with pet owners. Customer service is dead at Valley Vetco. If you want misinformation and a really bad attitude, come to this place. There is zero professionalism here.... They then responded to this post, with a total lie. My son and I were there together. I did not have a bad attitude at all. You are liars. How dare you say that. I had to put my hands in the air and say, "hey there is no need to talk to me that way, I am just asking a simple question and trying to communicate." Please everybody, don't go to this place. They will treat you really crappy, then lie about it. Horrible customer service. Don't get violated by this company. They are gonna steal your deposit. Don't waste your time with liars....and bad customer service. I hope this helps someone avoid being assaulted and violated and mistreated.

Negative experience: Prices are not accurate as listed. I was told to my puppy would be given a rabbies and parvo vaccination. They did not give the rabbies shot even though i was charged full price. They insist that I come in 2 more times to get boosted for parvo and deworming again ? . They are just trying to rip people off.

Fantastic experience: Prices are good , not very clean place though. The staff is not too friendly. Janet Kramer , it was Dec 2nd. We have been there before a few times , others have gone there in the family and it's not clean . I understand it's a per facility but there is never anyone mopping periodically either . We go to Arrow usually but close by for a quick shot apt. I continue to go back hoping " next time" ... The vet was nice , the counter staff just hasn't been sadly. Today 11/16/2023 I went back and everyone I encountered was very nice from the beginning to the end! The facility looked better, there were clean up signs hanging on the wall, such a better experience this time!!!!

Positive experience: This place is very easy to take care of your dogs shot needs, but if you are walking, it does take a while and people who miss their appointments by a whole day.Get put in front of you first even after arriving way after kind of annoying.

Negative experience: Trying to scam you for money. My dog just got her 3rd parvo and they wouldnt do the rabbies until she got 3 parvo shots with them but got her first one at another vet. They will charge you deworming for every parvo and they only deworm your dog once. Go to a different vet. Update: we asked for the rabies shots multiple times and they refused. Commenting on my review doesn’t make it better.

Negative experience: Extremely rude. They yelled at me because I did not want to get more shots for my dog than I wanted to. Its my dog and my choice on what shots I get my dog. They refused to give my dog a rabies shot but they want more and more parvo shots even though she is done.

Negative experience: They were trying to force me to get 3 parvo shots for my 7 year old who’s been up to date on all his shots with a different vet. Why would a 7 year old dog need to get 3 puppy parvo shots? Money hungry is what they are.

Negative experience: Called before attending our scheduled appointment, and was given incorrect information. When I arrived for my appointment the receptionist was rude and mad that I had incorrect information. Several employees apologized on her behalf and encouraged me to reach out to the owner… I did that and the owner was really snarky in her response and when I told her she was rude she said she was “simply honest.” Very disappointing. The care the dogs received from the rest of the staff was great, but would not go back based on the experience with the receptionist and now the owner.

Positive experience: Our experience at VetCO Clinic was overall quite efficient. Highlight was than the front desk staff and vet tech were very friendly and welcoming, and the prices were fair. It was fast and online scheduling made it more convenient. Vet did efficient job. Would recommend. I like that there are Saturday slots.

Fantastic experience: Took our Spunky in for shots and Micro chipped today. Made my appointment on line , got there early was called in within 5 minutes. Loved their attentive care and kindness. The Vet, included. Love this place.

Negative experience: I called and asked for another consultation appointment because it was too hot for my dog to travel in the car for over an hour at 4pm. I was told that there was no other appointments due to scheduling conflicts and that the dental vet was leaving. Today I look on the website and it says you're still offering dental services so I'm a bit confused as to why I couldn't get another appointment if this service is still being offered.

Fantastic experience: We just took our Summer girl (a red healer & has anxiety,) in for shot's & lab work. There is a young assistant, "Tim" who assisted us. He was a huge help! very patient, kind, gentle, & Summer really took to Tim. So He helped her feel safe! this is a big deal for us! A big shout out to Tim. Please give Tim a Raise. I just know that if Tim was this way w/us, then he must like this for everyone else. Tank you all for this care & the low costs of the much needed vaccination's.

Fantastic experience: I took my puppy's Madonna and Lorde and they did a great job. The girls that work there or staff are the best. I was very nervous when I left my puppy's there but when I got them back I was so happy this is the place to go. Valley vetco takes care of your pet here they care they give you good advice on how to care for your pet. I can't remember her name but I call her the tattoo girl she's awesome. I would always bring my pet here as long as they live and thrive. I wish the staff the great Christmas Happy New Year.

Fantastic experience: The staff is sooooo inviting, very thorough in explaining procedures after surgery and what to look for. The vets are compassionate, experienced, thorough, passionate about all 4-legged and 2 that walk thru their door! Be sure to consider your pets needs here!

Positive experience: I haven’t been seen here with my cats yet but I don’t like that I haven’t been able to actually speak with someone I have to go online and email which is fine I can do so but there’s some people who don’t do internet like elderly people some people don’t do email I know there are more people then there isn’t but still it doesn’t make it easy for these people who don’t .

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with how everything turned out for my baby zoey. I went with vetco many years ago with my dog to get spayed and they did an awsome job my dog was back to herself in a few day. So I decided to take my tiny shihtzu and omg ! From the first phone call to the end I was so happy and relieved that my baby was in good hands everone was nice and professional. I loved her doctor she gave me tips on how to care for Zoey and informed me about her surgery I left her in the best care for sure. Zoey took a few days to get better but were on our 4th day and shes doing great her incision is beautiful Done with love her little heart tatoo is beautiful lol Thank you Vetco for everything.. now to get my boys done ..

Positive experience: I really enjoyed the vet we got. It's my first time owning a cat so I wasn't sure what to expect. But the shots are well priced. We go for the neutering at the end of the month. I'll post an update. I will say booking shots and the neutering together was a bit difficult online I do wish i had been able to speak with someone.(but i got it done ) The front desk can not make your appointments. ** Got my cat neutered chiped and second set of shots 180$ Thanks to the staff for being so awesome!

Fantastic experience: Dr Lenard is simply the best. I met her when my puppy was for his shots. She gives simply common sense advice. Her years of experience and knowledge are invaluable. Best of all, she is a loving, caring person who loves animals. I recommend purchasing the pet insurance. It's worth the money spent, especially in the first year. The staff overall is amazing and helpful. I have tried other Vet Clinics and Vets to find that not only were they not responsive. But they charged expensive rates for testing when it was not needed. Overall, you will save your time, money, and your pets overall health by going to VCA. I highly recommend it. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: My dad's dog was spayed here. She healed up great, we get her vaccines done here too. Since they started doing appointments it's been easy to get the shots she needs. Just make sure to make the appointment as soon as you can because they fill up fast.

Fantastic experience: The veterinarian Jennifer & vet tech were awesome ☺️! Ty ! I took My daughter's & my to get neutered. Spaying / neutering are by appts only.The check in process takes about an hour so plz be patient. I thought maybe the process could be faster if we did the paperwork while we waited in the waiting room, especially to help the tech,but everything is on the so that wouldn't of helped . This is an extremely busy office & they are in high demand. I would recommend making a appt, for the shot clinic especially if you are not patient cause you will be there for a while depending on how many people walk in, plus the appts & what order you come in. They were the most affordable price that I could find when I shopped around to get our cats neutered! Also I recommend buying a ecollar for your pet for after surgery to prevent licking, & infection. Another tip 4 cats I didn't use the usual litter, I used pee pads & newspaper in their litter boxes to help prevent infection & just used the bottom of the litter box to help prevent jumping. Ty 4 all that you all do there in helping the pets in our community ❤️! You are greatly appreciated !

Fantastic experience: Dr Kramer is an angel on earth! She did such a great job with my boy Loki a 10 y/o blue heeler. On top of treating him so well and being so friendly she was able to help with documentation needed for a house. I will be forever grateful to her and the staff there for helping. Fantastic experience: The care of all of my dogs throughout the years by Vetco is just amazing. I have had times where I am short on funds and have been able to still afford vaccines here. They handle fur babies with care and love, and explain everything clearly. Just have to say a big "thank you!"

Negative experience: I brought three kittens in to be spayed and I believed that I'd be charged the fee that was on the website ... $140 per kitten. After I got home and reviewed the billing closer I realized that I was charged $170 per kitten . Once I pointed the mistake to Valley Vetco they said that I should have caught the mistake before I signed off on the paperwork and they weren't going to credit me the difference.

Negative experience: These people need an intercom so upset.. waited there since 2 pm didn’t get called back til 430 and they skipped me they took 4 people behind me first .. maybe the workers should go around calling the dogs name it’s so loud in there you WILL GET SKIPPED BECAUSE THEY DONT TAKE THE TIME TO ACTUALLY CALL YOUR DOGS NAME MORE THEN ONCE

Negative experience: Horrible service. Went in for a walk in parvo shots and they handed out numbers to be called but then cut off customers after a certain number because the doctor couldn't stay pass working hours because they didn't get paid over time. Which was unprofessional if they weren't going to do all the number they handed out they shouldn't had even give them out if they can't complete their services. Don't waste your time we wasted over two hours for them to turn us away at the end.

Negative experience: So hard to reach a human. Staff is not polite or caring. I just hope they treat the pets we have better than they do us. We will never go back again!

Negative experience: This place claims to be low income yet I paid 352$ to get my dog spayed ...all the little exta fees they add on, apparently she was in heat when I took her in which is a extra cost even though she had no signs of being in heat like she usually does. And even tho she had has her vaccines before ofcourse they had to add those on. Along with whatever the hell else they added on. You also can't have any kind of opinion here or they won't service you anymore . Save your time and find a ACTUAL LOW INCOME VET.

Fantastic experience: The staff and our veterinarian were absolutely amazing! They offer an afternoon short clinic which has restrictions understandably. However they are extremely patient and respectful when they have to turn people away who have exceeded the capacity for the day.. We have taken our four legged babies there for years definitely a recommendation.

Fantastic experience: Wait time was a couple hours but to fully vaccinate two Pups and chip one was under $120. Very friendly staff and cost effective location to care for your pets.

It was my first time getting vaccines/heart worm test for Baklava since I adopted him last year. I will definitely recommend this wonderful place and return for his next vaccines ect.

Fantastic experience: I took my female Persian cat in to get spayed one week ago. I had the best possible experience with the staff and the entire process! They treated her as if she was their only patient. I thought she would be miserable and scared but Lollie was putty in their hands! They did an excellent job. There were no post-op issues and she healed beautifully. Lollie is back in tip top shape. The cost was very reasonable and the care was exemplary. I highly recommend them If I could give them ten stars I would ! They provide wonderful care for your beloved pets❤️❤️❤️ thank you Valley Vetco!

Negative experience: I got my dog spayed here a few weeks ago and it has been quite chaotic since. The service was good and so was getting her in in a timely manner. The spay was definitely cheaper but when you pay less expect less. My dog now has a massive bump/mass on her stomach where the incision was along with it being extremely red and swollen. I did everything they told me to to help it heal properly however it did anything but that. The sight got infected really bad and I ended up paying way more then I should’ve to treat that. She now has been having really bad skin irritation near but not on top of the sight. Other vets aren’t sure if it’s an allergic reaction or infection but either way all of her stomach is red and her skin in peeling heavily. They do it quickly, make it easy, and are cheap… but expect to get that all back to you when you get your animals back.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, clean shop. Great job trimming Gypsy's nails. My fur baby hates her nails being trimmed, but didn't mind groomer doing it at all!

Negative experience: I have never been treated SO BADLY for just asking a single question as the woman in the office treated me! I could not believe it. Like dang lady, sorry for breathing the same air as you but I was hoping to get my little fur baby some treatment. As it is, it was lucky to have had such a bad interaction because I was then led to a much better Veterinary clinic where the front office woman treated me like an actual human. It was a little more expensive but totally worth not having such a negative interaction. I would recommend going ANYWHERE else and not supporting such awful people.

Fantastic experience: The other vetco we had gone too wouldn’t let me bring my dog anymore because he gets nervous and goes all rawr on people but the staff here were so chill about it and just told us oh it’s fine just next time to bring a muzzle and put it on him for his shots.they said he’s was a very good dog just gets nervous is all.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love, you have to get there early because they only take so many pets for vaccines each day. So try to arrive 15-20 before they open the line starts forming quick. We had started taking our kitten Luna and quickly noticed how fair the pricing wise. So we took our older two cats to get caught up on their rabies vaccine. My two year old tortie ended up having a reaction Tito the vaccine shortly after we got home. I called and they were quick to say come back. So we rushed over and they took her right in. They were supposed to go on lunch soon but still agreed to see her. She got a few injections to help and we’re kind and reassuring while only charging a fair price for the extra services. We are so grateful for the help on this stressful situation. We highly recommend to anyone. They truly care about their customers and pets.

Fantastic experience: Wouldn't take our pup anywhere else! The staff is so friendly and attentive. We were able to get our Yorkie 2 of his shots, his microchip, and he was neutered for the price it cost us just to get 1 shot and a checkup at VCA! Price aside, we also felt the vet was much more thorough and more open to questions and concerns. Expect a very long wait unless you plan ahead and get there extra early but there is a good reason so many people are interested in coming here! Zero complaints.

Negative experience: Terrible service. Low cost vaccines are misleading. Once they get you there, you pay it because you've already waited 1-2 hours. Worst possible place to go for vaccines.

Fantastic experience: Arrived at 1:05. was one of the last people able to get in for Saturday vaccines. Was able to meet with a vet at 4pm. Long wait, but not able to make another appoint between Albuquerque and Durango, Co I am very thankful to get a spot. Kind and intelligent staff. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Quick spot to get your animals shots. Lacks professionalism amongst the staff and they’re over opinionated about your animals behavior. Have a sense of privacy when commenting on customers animal behavior not blast it out to the whole waiting room. Their shot clinic is a quick way to make their money but overall need to step up customer service. Obviously they lack the room for criticism but want to give open room feedback towards their customers. They have all this pride yet nothing to be proud of, step your service up.

Fantastic experience: Drove three hours to get my two German shepards vaccinated last minute and although the line was very long, waited an hour, the staff was knowledgeable and caring. The vaccines took all of 3 minutes tops. Very efficient

Negative experience: I have never been more belittled as a pet owner than I have at this place. I just wanted a simple rabies vaccine for my cat and after sitting in my car for an 1.5-2 hours they told me when I came in they couldn't give the rabies because I had given my cats the at home vaccines you can buy at tractor supply. It had been at least a week since I gave my cat the vaccines and no reaction and yet still they would not give the rabies. They told me they dont recommend the vaccines you can give yourself because they don't trust what's in the vial and of course they don't because they want you to run up the vet bill with them! Your staff is extremely rude. I will tell everyone not to come here because the wait is not worth it!

Fantastic experience: Affordable price, smooth communication. My puppy had her spay surgery and microchipped there. She recovered quickly after the surgery, and got the cutest smiley face spay tattoo.

Negative experience: So being a customer for so many years u think there would be some sort of vip service....we literally waited 2 1/2 hours in the heat in our vehicle had to ho for a drive n walk because animals and people can not wait in vehicles like that...when we finally got inside i had questions as to the licensing with the city...questions about discounts and programs thru the city for low income vaccines..spaying...nuddering...u know typical things u would think a vet knows....only for staff to act bothered to look up ...they are not very knowledgeable at all to what they do...heck one of the vet assistants told my son to put corn starch on his dogs bleeding nail...when we took the dog to a professional that actually cuts nails we were instructed to never do something like that it can cause infection...oh yeah cuz this is a vet that wont cut nails also...go figure...sadness...n the pricing is not low cost at all!!!

Positive experience: The techs and staff were awesome. Super friendly and helpful. The vet not so much, she was very rude and unpleasant when i took my dog to get neutered. Hopefully her surgery skills are better then her people skills.

Positive experience: Nice people, professional. Clear instructions. Drawback, had to wait in car to open. Got there first and people got out of car faster to sign up so I had to wait longer

Negative experience: I tried to get there in time for the shot clinic but within the 1st hour they were already done taking people so I guess you have to be there super early! I had to call for about 2 days before I actually got a person on the line to set an appt for a neuter for my puppy! But I got it done! And they do take the SNAP voucher approved thru berno Co website

Negative experience: There was a shot clinic scheduled for 230pm. I arrived at 245pm and was told they were booked to capacity. I drove 40 minutes to get there and they don't allow appointments for the shot clinics. With 2 large breed dogs! Needless to say, that is why I don't attend there. I will go back to the VetCo near uptown in the future. I even spoke to a couple friends who admitted they have had to go an hour or 2 early to be able to get in. That is ridiculous! Not very convenient. And the phone message says they also are limiting the amount of other services they now offer. Not the way to keep a business going. I won't recommend them in the future.

Fantastic experience: I wasn't sure what to expect... you need to show up early, they put a sign-up sheet out 60 to 30 minutes before they open. I got there early and there are these three people waiting. It was fun talking with them. Then they bring you in like4-6 at a time via text. The girls at the front desk are extremely professional. The vet came out and got my dog who is a rescue, she asked me to hand Ginger to her which I thought was sweet.... she could tell she was scared with all the other dogs. This woman is a true angel. It only took a few minutes she weighed Ginger and then gave her her shots. I had to wait 10 minutes for the heartworm test so I took her out to the car so she could relax. Honestly my vet was going to charge over $300 this cost me about $150 with 6 months of Heartgard. Even having a rescue that isn't good with other dogs it's still was a great experience! Highly recommended! Thank you Valley Vet.... Well Done!!!!

Negative experience: I took my boxer puppy in for her 16 week shots. I have gone to valley vetco for many years and have always been happy with their service. This time its a big not happy. After signing in on their sign up sheet we waited for 2.5 hours out in the parking lot for our turn. We went in and Karina signed us in. I told her we were in for puppy shots and wanted rabies as well. She entered our information and verified we were getting parvo, distemper, and rabies. I said yes, paid the bill and was instructed where to wait until tech came out to get her. Vet tech came and got her. Brought her back to me and went over vaccines given which included leptospirosis, which I did not want and was not expecting. I was livid. My sons boxer went into shock after having that vaccine and I have never given it to my dogs. When I expressed my concerns and displeasure that this vaccine was given vet tech said I should have stated I didn't want this and it would not have been given. I didn't think I needed to state this as Karina did not include it in her verification. When I approached Karina about my concern and displeasure her response was "well you don't have to get all up in my face about it." Even rolled her eyes at me. There was no Apology, no owning their mistake, and the unprofessionalism is beyond words. Pre covid staff was great. Post covid staff not so much. I will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience here and it was great! The staff was very nice & efficient. I got there at 1pm and they open at 230pm. There was already some pet owners waiting and they were also friendly. They all chatted about how they've been coming here for years and about the process. The staff brought the list out about 45(ish) minutes before opening. And their available slots filled up before they opened so, don't wait till the last minute! Once they called I was in and out in 30min. They were quick, friendly, helpful, and of course a great price! Overall, I'm very pleased and I will be returning. I already scheduled my pet's spay appointment.

Negative experience: Worst staff ever!!! Save your time and go other place. The staff is rude and they treat you as if you were stupid just because you want to ask something, if you don’t want to treat with people, choose another job! Lady in the front desk said that they have “hundred clients per day” even before opening the clinic they are full, like really? You just open from 1 to 5:30 and you are able to see 100 clients? If they treat clients and potential clients this way, what can you expect for your pets. And noticing that they can not take a bad review because they always blame it on the client not on them, I really don’t expect them to take this review into consideration.
