Fantastic experience: I have taken all my animals to spay/neuter here because they’re a local low cost clinic. All my babies healed quickly and without incident. I am ALWAYSSS recommending them to my clients when they mention they have unfixed animals (it always comes up somehow when i ask if they have any pets) It’s an easy process, just drop off and pick your pets off at the times they provide and follow the aftercare, and they’re good! Thank you guys for providing these basic pet services at an affordable rate in a world where vet services are at an all time high! EDIT: If negative reviews about front desk service deter you. Please consider that this is a low cost clinic in a world where vet tech degrees are tens of thousands of dollars. They are providing a service for you for the betterment and safety of animals. It’s a labor of love, not your local restaurant.

Negative experience: "DONT COME HERE" SO UNPROFESSIONAL, AND CLEARLY THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. All the staff are just talking drinking coffee while everyone is waiting then they dont examine your pet right they just take pictures they dont tell you what's wrong with your animal they just give you medicine and dont even know the reason why they are even giving it to you . Honestly dont waste your time or money here .

Negative experience: Today November 20th I’ve arrived at 3:30pm and it was closed I don’t know for what reason because in the new schedule they say the close at 4 pm is a shame because I had to drive all the way from Hidalgo for my dog vaccinations and it was closed please hire more responsable people that stay until closing hours because I wasn’t the only person here waiting to see if someone came out.

Negative experience: Where the heck are you guys? We've tried getting our dog vaccinated for two weeks now, but no one is here. We call the number and it tells us you all call take the call.

Negative experience: Unexperienced staff. I went in person in the morning to ask if the clinic offered the service I needed. I was told yes and advised to return at 2 PM. When I came back, I was informed they don’t provide that service. The staff need better training or the competency to confirm with their peers before giving an answer. Every hour counts when your pet is sick.

Positive experience: I brought in 3 large dogs on leashes one ran outside after being brought inside. I told the guy checking me I needed help my dog could go to busy street he replied he could not help. Luckily another guy tech ran outside with me and my helper and we got my dog back

Fantastic experience: I went in with my family to get some flea medicine for my dog and ended up waiting in the store for almost an hour. Despite there being about seven employees who seemed available, no one came over to help us. Another customer walked in after us, and an employee immediately helped them instead. I used to shop here regularly, but after this disappointing experience, I won’t be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Got some updated rabies shots for our fur babies. Great help from everyone. My baby boy Cooper took a liking to the assistant holding him. (Untill he have me that "Daddy I wanna go with you" look. Very affordable services and rates for your pets as well. Come check them out.

Fantastic experience: The process of setting up the appointment to the day of her surgery was streamlined and the staff was great.. My dog recovered very quickly and was up a running in no time with little to no scarring.. it was very affordable and I will be taking all my dogs for whatever they need.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this clinic the last 3 years, I’ve never had a problem until this time. I have a 10 percent membership discount for all services and products. I took my two little Yorkies, had the Ultimate Service which is about $100 for each dog. I asked them for nail trimmings which they didn’t do. I asked about ear plucks and they charged me $22 for ear cleaning which I didn’t ask. Then charged me for $13 for ear plucking. Total amount was $270. Then I bought heartgard vaccination for each. When I asked the male counter person if he was giving me my 10 percent discount, he said it hadn’t gotten automatic renewed this year. He gave me a discount for the $200 plus receipt but didn’t give me the first discount. They called supervisor Gabby and she convinced me to wait until next when I brought my other dogs. So I go in this time and she refused to give me the $25 discount. She said she was the supervisor and wasn’t giving me the discount. It’s interesting yesterday on the second receipt I got $20 discount and gave it as a tip to the tech. Had I gotten my $25 discount that the supervisor promised i would’ve turned around and give it as a tip. In fact I was thinking about donating to this company. It was a total disappointment. The Supervisor Gaby who wears a ring on her nose, very inappropriate was rude, wouldn’t give me the phone for the owners which is a very easy thing to get nowadays.

Fantastic experience: I didn't get the name of the person who helped me but she was really informative. Helped me with a few options they had for vaccines and even had my cat out before their normal pick up time. My cat is still healing from the surgery but over all a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Employees are very patient with the animals whether they're scared or upset. The wait is minimal if you show up early if not then be prepared to wait because there is a lot of people that bring their pets to be checked. Also the consult is free, you only pay for meds and they are very reasonable. Great place all together

Fantastic experience: I love this staff, they not only provide great customer service to me and my pets, but actually care and love their job! I was having issues catching one of my strays and called to inquire about my deposit. They were so understanding and continued to reschedule me until I caught her. They were so compassionate about the situation.

Negative experience: Who is the staff veterinarian? You people should be shut down! I had my 2 year old schnauzer which we rescued spayed ladt week. Yesterday, he had a massive bleed while in his cage. When we chose to go to an experienced Veterinary clinic, the Veterinarian knew exactly which butcher shop we had taken him to. I will be reporting g your organization to the Texas Veterinary Association. The Veterinarian stated that the procedure was improperly performed and has had to repair this clinics mistakes in the past. I will never recommend this place. Do you all actually have a Veterinarian on staff? I don't expect a response from a chop shop. If you remove my comment, I'll keep uploading more and more. You don't even deserve a 1/2 star.

Fantastic experience: So grateful for the entire team!!! If Come here if your pet needs to see a vet and you cannot afford a visit. The visit fee is $0. Medication is very affordable and so are vaccines! And the best part of all is the vet and staff's care of your pets. Everyone was so kind and helpful on both of my pet's visits. He was so afraid to get out of the car (this was his first time away from home) and into the building, but the he truly took to the kind staff and made his way in. He's doing much better now! Thank you for helping us!! Looking forward to seeing everyone again next time!

Negative experience: If you need medication for your dog make sure you get the right information. I called and they said as long as she has been weighed in the past six months I can get the medication. (I informed them she had been weighed at her vet's office within six months. Receptionist just reiterated that she needed to be weighed within six months.) Drove from Weslaco to their clinic in McAllen only to be told I needed to bring my dog to be weighed. All that way for nothing! Staff needs to do better when giving requirements. You'd think because they work there they should know, right? I mean, they do this every day.

Fantastic experience: I've gotten all of my pets both cats and dogs spayed/ neutered at this place and they always do a good job they were able to help me with my dogs nail trimming which is always very difficult for me but they were able to do it with a muzzle ofc as I asked for them to put it on for the safety of my dog and the workers I always come here it's low cost and they're always very friendly with the animals the prices have changed due to inflation but they're still within reason you can't put a price on your animals well being

Negative experience: Feb 28/25 no veterinarian available until March 11th, but they couldn’t put that on their website!

Positive experience: This clinic is not a full service clinic. It is strictly for shots and spaying and neutering. The web site says my dog is a poodle, which it is, but it shows a picture of a golden retriever on the profile. You don't go in with your dog. You stand outside with other dogs and owners.

Fantastic experience: Very affordable and quick care for both of my cats. They take walk-ins, and you do not have to wait for long.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional they told me they would call me to pick up my cat but didn’t call me. So I called to check up on my cat and they said he was ready to be picked up a while ago and charged me a late pick up fee. It would have been nice if they had told me to pick him up at a certain time even if they didn’t call me. Poorly trained staff

Fantastic experience: I recently took my Chihuahua, Spartacus, to Texas Wellness Spay & Neuter Clinic for an overall exam, allergy shot, and rabies vaccination, and I couldn't be happier with the service! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and the whole process was super quick. I was amazed by how affordable everything was compared to other vet clinics I have been to. Spartacus was treated so well, and I felt confident in the care he received. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for fast, affordable, and reliable pet care!

Positive experience: Staff was very friendly and services were good. Wait list was longer than desired for spay. Bldg has many doors for different services and signs are unclear. Parking lot is old and broken concrete caused an elderly man to trip and fall, so be cautious.

Negative experience: They don’t let you come in with your pet and they wanted to put a muzzle on my dog. I recommend you take your pet somewhere else. Tech guy with long hair was afraid of a double doodle

Fantastic experience: Took one of our dogs to get her rabies vaccination as a walkin. Place was crowded but very swift to get all pets taken care of. We had her previously spayed about a year ago here. Great job! I recommend taking your pets here.

Positive experience: This place is fairly cheap but I feel like they keep suddenly telling you the vet is requesting this or that and since ur card is on file. They just keep charging multiple times. Rather than one evaluation and one set of charges

Fantastic experience: Wheelchair accessible ramps, but doors are not automatic. A bit tight within but the employees were so timely, it wasn't a bother. Pet was treated well & I'm so happy services are a reasonable price for an underserved community.

I came here and was offered a 45 dollar package that included rabies, HCPCH, and dewormer. My cat looks good so far and regained some appetite i hope she gets better. Yes i recommend this vet.

Fantastic experience: 3/2024 I am still very happy with this clinic. My furbaby was itching nonstop and I brought her here to be seen and get medicine for her. No appointment, 30min wait, free exam. Just pay for meds. 1/2020I am very happy with this clinic. I chose to go here to get my cat spayed because the other clinic I have been to before didn't have a spay appointment until 6 weeks out so I said no way and searched for another place. I found wellness spay neuter clinic and I am glad I did. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. (You can make the appointments online which is very easy and convenient) Yes, the price is a little bit more but in the end it evens out compared to the other clinics price because the add-ons are included here. the price included the pain medication and it even includes a FREE pre-OP exam before the surgery day. I got to meet the Dr. And make sure my baby was ok for surgery. The whole process was fast, efficient, and pleasant. Be sure to go early to avoid waiting in line. It's been 5 days after surgery and my kitty is happy and healed.

Fantastic experience: At times due to the high number of call volume it takes time for them to answer the phone, but you are able to leave a message and they will call you back. Other times you are lucky depending on the day and hour that they answer real quick. Pricing is fair and competitive for their services. I left my pup (Mocha) there to get spayed and I was pleased. I would recommend their services and staff was professional.

Positive experience: Didn't have to wait long to get in and be seen by a vet. Consult was free and was able to make a dental appointment for the very next day. A few outside park benches would be nice so we could sit while our pet was inside.

Fantastic experience: My Yorkshire Terrier had an insect bite/swelling on his paw. Less than a half hour he was assessed, received the Rabies vaccine and was given an antibiotic at very LOW cost.

Positive experience: Rescued dog was given vaccinations and neutered. Quick and easy process. Less expensive than other places. I would like to have talked with the vet to get estimate of his age but, overall was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: Took my 9 month puppy khalia here for a spay and they did AMAZING. Recovery is going very well it’s day 2 and she’s super active and hyper! I can’t believe that I didn’t know about this place I’m most definitely coming back for my other two puppies spays, already set an appointment for one of them!

Fantastic experience: Brought 2 big, beautiful dogs who were drop-offs in our neighborhood. We needed to get them shots and tested for various diseases. Basically, no wait for this walk-in clinic. The team were caring, knowledgeable, and skilled at what they do. These dogs are going to a ranch where they can live a great life. Coming here was one of the first steps for them. Thank you for everything you do!

Negative experience: My only issue with this place is that they're the only place that requires a $50 deposit and they don't have a huge time frame for you to take your pet in to get fixed it's between 7-8 am only. I was about 30 minutes to 45 minutes late to our appointment. However the place is so small and there was literally nobody there I figured they'd still take my dog and they didn't. So I wasted time driving through morning traffic 30 to 40 minutes all the way to the office from Edinburg basically missing work for them to tell me I had to "reschedule". I'm thinking about going to the clinic on hackberry in McAllen they're closer, don't require $50 deposit, and I think they have more Dr's so they have better timeframes and more available times. The staff was friendly but they don't work with your time schedule and they aren't even that packed either being a small clinic so take that as you will.

Positive experience: Love the place but they forgot about me completely skipped me, even though i kept asking tge guy and I was waiting with my puppy outside over 30 minutes till I went back inside.

Negative experience: 0 stars. We had such a bad taste with everyone in the clinic. The staff is very rude and noticeability overworked, understaffed, and frustrated. I just hope they arent taking it out on the animals. Day of our cat spay appointment there was a long line and wait time to be checked in (we were there 15 mins early). The front desk staff were very short and rushed time of check it and said they would call when our cat was ready for pick up later in day, they called 15 mins before closing and when we asked why didn't they call sooner she said "sorry we get busy and don't have time to call everyone". Sounds like poor management to me. I even called the manager to complain and he was no help at all and all I got was "sorry you feel that way". On top of that, our cat is now experiencing issues 1 month post op and another vet suspects the ovaries were not complete removed during the surgery!! Now the vets in this clinician arent even doing the job correctly!! And of course they made us sign a wavier so they are not liable but they are defiantly over booking and not treating the animals right. POOR MANAGEMENT.

Negative experience: Starting on a good note they were very punctual and even opened up a little early. However the stitches on my dog seemed very half asked and not strong at all. They busted open only after a few days after the surgery. My dog wasn’t jumping or running around at all or doing anything that would have caused the stitches to brake. When I called them and told them her stitches bust the guy on the phone didn’t really care about the situation and told us that we could bring her back but they wouldn’t fix the stitches until much later I understand that they deal with a high volume of animals a day but this was an emergency. After the surgery they barely gave us any instructions on after care and gave us one dose of medicine for a surgery that takes 7-10 days of recovery. Needless to say that I will never come back here.

Fantastic experience: The experience was very streamlined to handle all the pets that needed neutering. The staff was friendly, and you can tell that there is definitely a process. My advice is to make an appointment at least a month in advance. Yes, they are that booked up and busy.
