Fantastic experience: The staff were amazing and got my kitty in on the same day! Explained things so well and were very friendly. First time cat mom so I was very anxious but they were amazing throughout the entire process!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bigelow was so kind and caring during an emergency appointment for our cat Albert. She explained test results thoroughly and provided excellent treatment. Dr. Oliver was very helpful when answering my questions a few days later. And the staff called a couple of days after the visit to check on Albert.

Her little eye may still need to be removed, but the doctor said it should be ok even it i decide not too. She is doing awesome!!! Thank you to all the caring people that work at Lyndon!! Fantastic experience: Dr. Lawson is INCREDIBLE!! My boys, rescue dogs, Taco and Sampson, and I recently moved back to the Lyndon area and back to Lyndon Animal Clinic, where we met Dr. Lawson! He is SO incredibly kind and gentle, caring, friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding! He loves animals so much!! My poor, sweet baby Taco just had to have a second bladder surgery to remove more bladder stones. Understandably, I was an absolute mess, but Dr. Lawson comforted and assured me and took the most excellent care of my baby boy!! I'm a total helicopter dog mom and Dr. Lawson took the time to address all my concerns! The entire staff just loved all over Taco and made him feel comfortable and more at ease!! My other baby, the sweetest boy ever, Sampson, very sadly, was beaten by a previous owner before I rescued him, so he has very high anxiety with strangers. Dr. Lawson was just so slow and gentle, patient and understanding with sweet Sampson for his routine senior check up!! I highly recommend Dr. Lawson, staff, and Lyndon Animal Clinic!! Thank you, Dr. Lawson and everyone for taking such amazing care of my precious baby boys!!

Their staff is kind, patient, and service minded from the time you walk in to the time you leave. They aren’t pushy and give you the services that make sense for your situation, which is appreciated with 2 aging cats. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I brought my cats in for an annual appt, Dr. Lawson saw my cats and was absolutely lovely. I have a cat with VERY high anxiety, he was so calm and talk so delicately with my cat so that she wouldn’t freak out. I would’ve put money that my cats were going to freak out with the shots, and I would’ve lost that money bc Dr. Lawson did it SO easily and quickly. Me and my fiancé are getting a dog in the near future and I will definitely be bringing our new puppy to this office!!

Fantastic experience: I've used Lydon Animal Clinic for 12+ years and have always been pleased with the level of care given to my cats and the involvement in that care as their pet parent. Dr Oliver has taken great care of the boys over their lifetimes. No matter if we moved out of state, we always brought them back to Kentucky for annual check-ups. That's how much confidence we have in Lyndon Animal Clinic. When dealing with senior cats and their illnesses, Dr Oliver weighed options and treatments and didn't roll his eyes when I added natural supplements to the process (like one vet I had actually did). When Pyewacket became very ill, he was empathetic and informed me on end of life behaviors. I'm so grateful that not trying to hold onto a dying pet and listening to that pet was the best treatment. I can't thank his staff enough for their hugs, their concern and help when coordinating options for his transition. We chose for him to cross over at home but their guidance in cremation services was very much appreciated. I'll continue to use Lyndon Animal Clinic because of the care given to pets and their parents.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit with our new-to-us five month old Goldendoodle. All the staff were very nice and friendly, and Dr Lawson was especially good with our pup. Our pup got three vaccinations and didn’t even make a whimper.

Positive experience: We take our 7 year old Great Dane and 12 year old cat to see Dr. Gawley for preventative chiropractic care. It has been pretty easy to get on the schedule. The whole staff at Lyndon Animal Clinic is friendly, and Dr. Gawley is gentle and patient with our girls. She was flexible and accommodating when we requested to go a bit slower with our dog, and both our pets have responded very positively to the chiropractic adjustments! We strongly believe in chiropractic care for pets, so we are very grateful to have Dr. Gawley in town. Highly recommended for preventative and chronic/injury-related chiropractic needs!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Oliver is THE best veterinarian I have ever met! I truly do believe he's an animal whisperer! All my animals love him, and he has a way with animals that is so endearing to see! He did surgery on one of my girls, and she fell in love with him! He is the only person that she would be utterly quiet around and just stare at him like she was worshiping him! lol. He just has a way with animals, and goes above and beyond with their care! I will never take my animals anywhere else as long as Dr Oliver is in practice!

They are so good I have driven back from Chicago to have a procedure done for my dog because I trusted them more than anyone else I have found here. Fantastic experience: Tucker’s experience has been very positive! Dr Oliver listens & really knows how to make Tucker feel comfortable.I trust his advice. His office staff is always friendly. The office is clean. Tucker can be a hard one around people he does not know, but Dr Oliver is calm & reacts to him in a caring way. I appreciate that-we did not have that at a former vet.

Fantastic experience: This animal hospital is amazing and they are busy for a reason. I have been going there for the last five years and I'm always greeted with a smile. I have seen most of the doctors, and every one is knowledgeable and caring. The technicians are helpful and answered all my questions. Their new manager is amazing as well. Fantastic experience: My little dog was so sick. I’d never been to Lyndon but knew of Jennifer’s reputation as a vet tech and figured if she worked there they had to be great with animals. I was correct. Dr Oliver was fabulous. So were the office and vet tech staff. He was so loving and compassionate and I have no doubt he prolonged my dogs life. Highly recommend!

While checking her teeth, he discovered she had congestive heart failure, and confirmed it with an x-ray. I’m very thankful he found it early! She’s on preventative meds now. The staff is very helpful and compassionate. They fill my prescriptions quickly. It’s a busy place, So I try for morning appointments! Highly recommend! I’ve been going here for a couple of months now with sugar bear.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing staff. I cannot always get in with my favorite doctor, but I choose, which ever one is available, and I have been very happy with all of them. All of the assistance and office staff are fabulous as well. I couldn’t be happier with a veterinary office.

Fantastic experience: My dog “Tobi” was sick, throwing up nonstop, seizing and ect. Just only after a few visits and one surgery later he’s back to being in fantastic health. You can see the before and after difference of my dog’s health. The whole entire staff are nice, fantastic and friendly. They are lovely individuals.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hay was extremely helpful pleasant and handled our Jack Russell with care.

Negative experience: The prices are outrageous. I paid over $800 just to get my 2 rescues updated shots for 2025-2025. Since I was there last time, the prices have increased exponentially and they do not come in and discuss the pricing beforehand. They disappear with your dog and give them a full panel of shots without asking you which shots you want to get. To get them to trim my dog's toenails they wanted to sedate him for $250 so that they could trim his nails. Last year while they had him sedated to clean his teeth, they were supposed to trim his nails and forgot so he came out of anesthesia and they hit the quick multiple times. This dog is terrified of having his nails touched now. I would recommend avoiding this animal hospital at all costs, even though I know it is connected to the Humane Society, which I donate to regularly.

Thanks to Dr Gawleys diligence and a special blood test, his official diagnosis is something we never would have suspected! With a target and a treatment plan, I'm feeling much more confident in his recovery. Thank you again!! I've been bringing my pets to Lyndon for 10+ years. From the front to the back everyone has always been so helpful and genuinely caring when it comes to my whole squad of pets. We've always been well informed of our pets situation and been given clear and fair treatment plans. Dr Gawley is our primary doctor but we've seen everyone. Stacy and Suzette have been especially helpful! 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: I needed medical help for my dog and it was Saturday. My usual vets office directed me to Lyndon Animal Clinic. They were compassionate enough to stay open beyond their closing time to care for my dog. Dr. Oliver was the attending vet, a very caring veterinarian!

Fantastic experience: Received same-day appointment, attention and treatment for upper respiratory infection that cycles every three months or so. Will follow up with recommended vaccination that hopefully will increase the time between episodes. All services from entire staff were, as usual, professional, considerate and produced quick improvement.

Fantastic experience: My family just moved here and my fur babies needed their annual check up recently. I read reviews online and booked my first appointment. Although the facility is a bit run down, the services were quick and my pet was very cared for. I felt they took the time to understand my dog’s previous health cases and made us feel very welcome!! We are looking forward to bringing our other dog in later this year! :)

Fantastic experience: I love the doctors and staff at Lyndon Animal Clinic! They are all thorough, caring, and genuinely interested in getting and or keeping my babies healthy. The doctors will come out and explain exactly what's going on and what needs to happen, and they make sure you understand everything before they leave your pet's side. Even more, I always get a follow up phone call the day after to be sure everybody is doing well and to see if I have thought of any questions. I'll never take my cats anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: My time with the Doc was great but I have to say your prices are very high. High enough that I am trying to find another place to go. Why can’t you give senior discounts.

Fantastic experience: My cat ripped open his tail and was bleeding. Lyndon Animal Clinic was able to see me immediately. They took me right away, reviewed the injury and took care of it with a few staples and a shot, despite my not having an appointment and a full waiting room when I arrived. Will be making them my go to veterinarian for future issues. Very satisfied.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE:: it’s been several months and my liver shunt cat that was dying is still alive thanks to Lyndon Animal Clinic!! Their front desk girls are amazing, always willing to work me in their busy schedule if tgey can. My cat can be quite difficult and the technicians were very skilled. Dr. Hay was super helpful. Again, highly recommend this hospital!! I have a cat with a liver shunt and this hospital has given me So much information about this disease. Apparently cats with this don't live that long and with their help she has already surpassed her expiration date (haha). I am a crazy cat lady with 6 cats and I bring them all to Lyndon. I am just impressed with the entire place and I have never had a bad experience there. Very kind knowledgeable doctors and staff. Me and Kitty Dot (black and white cat in picture) highly recommend this place. 10/10!!

Negative experience: Run Away. My experience mirrors other bad experiences on this page. Avoid this place at all costs. You will be overcharged, your intelligence will be insulted, and you will be threatened by their office manager that she will not forward your pets records to your next Veterinarian if you dare cross her. There are too many good clinics in Louisville to put up with these aggravating corporate hacks.

Negative experience: I made a new patient appointment several days in advance. When I arrived, they could not find my appointment in the system which can happen. I showed them the email confirmation sent from their clinic. So I asked if I could be seen right away because my dog has severe anxiety when visiting the vet and her temperature gets up over 104°. I was told I might be able to be worked in but it could be a while. I said I can’t wait. And the response was I’m sorry. So I left never to return. Very poor customer service showing no compassion. This is not the way to treat a customer especially a new one!

Fantastic experience: Our Golden is (was) very sick. We actually had been to another vet and were looking for a second opinion. We had never met Dr. Oliver before but did have a connection. He was very caring, listened to us when we described what Otis was doing and not doing. He explained in detail his blood work and what he (didn’t) found during the physical exam. He explained his diagnosis and what treatment he felt was best. He asked us to bring him back for a follow up visit which we have scheduled. Our initial visit was 3 days ago at this writing. I’m happy to report Otis has improved greatly. Not only Dr. Oliver but the whole staff was wonderful and caring. Shout out to McKinsey on the front desk. I would name others but didn’t get their names.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bixby is wonderful! Josie my cat loves her! The entire staff is caring! Josie has diabetes, thyroid, and now a heart issue, any time I need an appointment that day, I am never told that there are not any openings. That is very important when you have a pet that has health problems. The cost of their services are fair and reasonable. It’s well stated, in all the reviews that Dr. Bixler is the greatest! Let’s not forget Meredith and McKenzie, and all the wonderful front desk staff. I’m so terrible with names, but every single person who calls me or when I call the office goes above and beyond. My cat Josie has many health problems, I am very anxious when I’m at the Vet office, Is so important to me that the people at The front desk realize that, and are so helpful and show grace. Long story short, (I’m not good at that) all I’m trying to say is Lyndon Animal Staff is Amazing! And I am going to post this many, many, times!!

Fantastic experience: We are so extremely grateful for Dr. Bixler and the amazing vet techs at Lyndon Animal Clinic! We are the Lyndon Animal Clinic fan club over here. Each of our animals have been *extra* and needed some sort of investigation and/or treatment. Nugget (cat) is a typical lemon, but we love him. Violet and Bruce (dogs) have their own personalities, and Violet seems to have a rightful aversion to needles. Our angel, Sal, was brought here for end of life care - no questions or judgements were held - only care and love for our sweet guy during his last day. I can't describe how much Dr. Bixler and team have done for us. No matter the need, the front desk is always gentle and rush to find us an opening for our babies. We will forever recommend this amazing place to others! Pictures included because.... of course!!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this place. Especially McKenzie, she is so so sweet every time I come in and she answers the phone she’s always so willing to help. The doctors are fantastic as well, they’ve helped me with everything from my new puppy to hard times with my kitties. Can be a bit pricey but I think that probably has nothing to do with them. I have pet insurance so it’s no bother. You can get an appointment quickly (same day most times) with incredible care. SO much better than my last vet.

Fantastic experience: My 7 yr old Siberian Husky had taken on fleas from apparently a bad choice of mine on where she was kept during a medical procedure l had.Add in a hot spot on her right front paw formed.
