Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time bringing a pet to Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital and the experience was wonderful from the first phone call I made to set up the appointment for my anxious, reactive dog, Leia, all the way through to the day after the appointment when they called to check on how my dog was feeling. Dr. Venadam, a Fear Free certified doctor, was very kind and patient and took the time to listen to my concerns about Leia. She explained everything very well, was mindful of the time constraints of handling a pre-medicated dog, used a collaborative approach with me in formulating a treatment plan, and her attention to detail during the exam was the best I've ever seen in decades as a pet owner. She made sure to check out all of the worrisome issues I mentioned in addition to doing a thorough physical exam from nose to tail. She gave me information on what to watch for with a problematic tooth, and even though my dog is difficult to work with, Dr. Venadam didn't let that interfere with being thorough. Also want to mention that the vet tech she brought in with her to take care of Leia's nail trim was completely amazing, I'm so thankful that she took the ample time needed to carefully get Leia's Nails down to a manageable length. This clinic did not recommend a whole bunch of add-ons or potentially unnecessary tests, but they were very comprehensive. The person who answered my call at the clinic when I made the appointment understood immediately that my dog has a complicated health history and I never felt rushed in explaining while making the appointment or during it. We will be bringing our other pets here from now on. So grateful for the exceptional Care my dog received at Warren woods Veterinary hospital!

The doctors, front desk and technicians are always so kind and helpful. Truly love it here! They even take Saturday appointments which I truly appreciate since I work during the week. They were compassionate the room where he spent his final moments was very comforting and amazing. They even were willing to work with me as far as how much I initially paid when I had to make the choice of what my cat down I didn't have all the money but they were able to work with me I would recommend this to anyone in the Warren area as a great place to take your animals.

Experiencia fantástica: We had taken our dog to Warren Woods when he was younger and switched vets to a place closer to our new home. The new very was OK but we started having major issues with consultations, vaccines and ever increasing prices. Our dog needed a tumor removal and we just didn't feel comfortable leaving him in their care so we went back to Warren Woods and it was the right move for all! Staff is very friendly to animals and humans, very thorough and pricing for services is very reasonable. We will make the drive to stay at Warren Woods!

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: as suspected, owned by private equity. I did some light research and discovered this place is owned by a private equity firm. If you’re wondering why there’s immense pressure to get expensive and unnecessary procedures, why your visit costs more than the care, why this place feels impersonal and unaffordable, it’s because it’s owned by a gigantic German conglomerate called JAB Holdings. Private equity firms have been mass purchasing veterinary clinics whose main goal is not pet health but rather pure profit. Less than ideal experience and severely overpriced. The vet tech Becky was wonderful. She was sweet, understanding, knowledgeable, and helpful. The ladies at the front desk also had a similar sunny and helpful disposition. However…..the veterinarian Dr. Wells was cold and grumpy. (If memory serves she was wearing a mask too. Which is always impersonal.) She acted like I was annoying her because my dog was defensive and terrified. She did not act as one would expect of someone who has (perhaps) decades of experience and expertise with animals. She flatly says, “is he going to bite me? I have a long day ahead of me and I don’t want to go to the hospital.” What a ridiculously self-absorbed and rude thing to say. Even if you feel that way perhaps word it in a different way. It was the second sentence to come out of her mouth. Then she blamed my anxiety on my dog’s anxiety. My energy was making the dog anxious. Whew. If you hate your job quit. Honestly. Find something else. They took my dog to the back to do their work because as I said she said my anxiety was making his worse. Whatever. Nobody informed me of where he was injected or where he may be sore and sensitive—which he was but I have no idea the exact spot(s). Today I called to schedule a follow up. I requested a different doctor. Which they happily accommodated. However, there’s a $70 exam fee to get a $35 vaccine. Good Lord. I’m never going back and I do not recommend this place. The entire place feels high stress and cold. They make you wait in your car out in the parking lot, I think due to Covid, which is deranged in 2025. I was really hoping this would work out. It seems finding competent professionals with even decent beside manners is all but impossible anymore. I have no idea why. Maybe because vets are so in-demand they feel they can treat people in an untoward manner even if they’re spending thousands of dollars.

The doctors and assistants were very helpful, caring, and informative. Especially during Oliver's eye exam. They held him and treated his situation like I would have... and that's exactly what we're looking for. Will be back!

And a shoutout to the front desk lady, for pushing to get Carbon in, greatly appreciated, technician making time to perform Carbon 1st laser treatment. We are so grateful, appreciated for your kindness. Carbon in his 1st Laser treatment. Carbon was so gentle, sweet during all of his visit.

Experiencia negativa: Important note: we have been going to this business for 4+ years and my extended family for 10+ Recently took my animals there and the vet tech informed me of a vaccine that one of my dogs did not have and said I was irresponsible for not getting it done( no one informed me or offered it. Confirmed by their office manager). The vet tech then tried dragging my dog on a lead when the dog was obviously scared and uncomfortable. Overheard the vet and vet tech in the hallway talking about my dog and the lack of vaccine after I pressed them on it and heard the vet tech say how she had already checked ( no she didn’t). When I reported this to the office manager she assured me this would be handled and asked us to give warren woods another chance. About 2 weeks later I received a letter in the mail from the vet tech mailed from Warren woods saying she is sorry I felt that way but she has no recollection of these events and that she cares for all animals that come into that office. This letter took no accountability for the way she spoke to me, what she said, how she treated my pet, and certainly did not take accountability for not flipping a paper over to double check. I am so insulted that this became that I took things the wrong way when she didn’t do her job, and frankly was extremely rude and unprofessional. I tried to give Warren woods the benefit of not typing a review and letting them handle this but the fact that this vet tech sees nothing wrong with how she handled the situation and the fact that the managers talk ( if one occurred) did nothing shows me how little they care about the pets that come through and their owners. Don’t get me wrong there are genuinely good people that work here and 70% of the staff has been amazing however it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch, I do want to thank everyone who works there for taking care of my animals. But to the vet and vet tech that saw my animals on may 18th I hope you learn and grow from this. Update: I have taken this dog to 4 vets. Since this incident. Before she loved going to the vet and we never had issues with nail trims or treatment. Now she won’t let the vets touch her. She shakes when you mention the word vet. It all stems back from this event. I have her records from Warren woods no mention of her having issues with treatments and care. But now she has to take sedatives to even get a physical exam. But According to the card I received it was all how I persevered the issue not that the vet tech did anything wrong.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Lee has been taking care of my 10 year old rabbit since we relocated to Michigan in 2024. He has dental issues and requires periodic teeth trims. I feel that the entire staff understands my bunny’s needs and provides excellent care - despite his ornery attitude. I highly recommend Dr Lee and WWVH for rabbit care.

When he went for the follow up, everyone was so incredible helpful, from making sure the room was set so he could lay on the floor, to assisting me in the room with payment ant everything needed. These pictures show him getting Laser Therapy to Regan feeling in his hind legs. Just in the days before the appointment, I talked to the staff about how he was progressing from the emergency vet, etc. This place is the best and we know Nox is in good hands.

Experiencia fantástica: Went to this vet for the first time because our usual vet is about ,30-40 min from my house and we just wanted another opinion because our cat has been having bathroom issues and they were so sweet and prescribed us two liquid medicines for him and said to come back if there were anymore or other issues. It's very convenient because it's very close to our house. The vets are extremely kind and helpful and knowledgeable.

Experiencia fantástica: I want to thank the staff of Warren Woods for taking the time to accommodate my family to assist with putting our family dog to sleep. He was our first family dog and a huge part of our lives. They came out to our car at our request to not give him any added stress (he was always terrified of the doctor’s office) and allowed our kids to say goodbye to him peacefully. We had a horrific incident with a prior pet at another vet and were severely apprehensive about causing any harm or added pain to our baby boy. They went above and beyond and even offered a clay paw print for him post mortem. Thank you for being kind and understanding.

Experiencia fantástica: My older female cat came in for a vet visit due to some health issues. Dr. Wells (as well as the vet techs and the rest of the staff) was extremely helpful and kind. My cat was very nervous for this visit on the way there and in the exam room, unsure what was happening at first before she was seen. She tends to be a skittish cat with people she doesn't trust or want to get to know. However she was calm, just had a more curious look to her, towards the end of the visit. She wasn't crying or in a bad mood like at the last vet I took her to. I am very pleased with how they treated my cat and made her feel safe. I'm grateful with how they worked with me financially; I am disabled and trying to get on SSDI currently (and not working,) so finances are tight, so they discussed every step of the way how much X Y & Z would cost and what was necessary vs what we could wait a bit on. It was greatly appreciated. This is definitely going to be our regular vet clinic from now on.

The vet was great at explaining all she was doing and what he needed. The vet techs were very patient with Leo as he was terrified to be there. Everyone was just wonderful, kind and beyond helpful! Experiencia negativa: My rottweiler puppy Billy got kennel cough from doggy daycare, so I went to Warren Woods Vet for antibiotics. I was charged $313 for a simple exam and medication. The doctor's assistant said they couldn't wash Billys ears because he wouldn't stay still, but they charged me for washing his ears anyway. (Even though there was no bacteria found in his ears, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with his ears!) I could go on and on about how they tried to keep adding extra charges, but I'm sure you get the idea. This place is friendly, but they are OVER CHARGING pet owners for simple office visits. Billy will not be returning. Update:Now they are responding by saying Billy had a yeast infection in his ears. Not true. I was never told by the technician about any infection. The technician said 2 of them tried to check his ears, but Billy wouldn't allow it. She gave me a bottle of ear wash, and said I should clean his ears at home. STOP THE CAPP!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience for my new puppy! Dr Venadam is AMAZING and made my puppy feel safe and comfortable. The tech also took time to show me how to properly and safely trim my puppy’s nails. The quality of care is wonderful, the facility is very clean and the cost is very reasonable.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been blessed with the best care for my birds over the last five or six years. Dr. Lee treats me and the flock like we really matter and ponders solutions for an unusual bird she routinely cares for. This is all done with so much love and grace. The entire practice exudes the same high energy, loving environment. During my last appointment I was waiting for ten or fifteen minutes in the exam room and the Vet Tech and the Vet both poked their heads in to let me know they were dealing with an emergency and would be with me shortly, only to find out later that there was a dog who was actively seizing. I never quite expressed my appreciation for their heroic actions; I would have easily waited a few hours, if necessary, to save the dog's life. Anyway, that's the kind of resourceful care you get here at Warren Woods, Medical Professions who are determined and will walk the extra mile to make sure every pet/pet Parent is fully equip to ensure the health of their furry or feathered friends. Thank you to Dr. Lee and also Dr. Capell for all of your help over the years.

Experiencia fantástica: My husky puppy was seizing and the techs got to her asap, calmed her down, and stabilized her so I could take her to a specialized vet hospital. My puppy is currently doing okay n recovering, I definitely appreciate the reassurance and kindness the techs gave me and their attentiveness to my baby.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been going to this vet for over 20 years. Since COVID the quality of service has diminished quite a bit. They nickel and dime every little thing and price gouge services. I would not be surprised if this is one of the vets that were bought out by venture capital firms. It just seems like care has fallen off a cliff while prices have skyrocketed. Also, it feels like a lot of the staff, even the vets, do not like dogs at all. There is no care or love here anymore. Only profit.

Experiencia negativa: They just lost my business, because of these unnecessary fees: 2 reviews this is my 2nd, see the 1st one below this one. If I had all the shots done at once per dog: I would save $153.50 per year min. See the math and reasoning below. #1... 6 biohazard disposal per year between the two dogs = $34.50 for the 2 dogs each year or 5.75 x 6 visits. Their price on shots is wrong & doesn't include this $5.75 fee each time. #2... 2 comprehensive physical exams = $244 for the 2 dogs each year or $61 x 4 visits. I paid $61 per dog on the 1st visit, for the comprehensive exam and did not need or request a 2nd exam on the 3rd visit: I was just there to get the shot. The below is my 1st *** review Great except for one irritating thing, you say NO to a procedure and they won't STOP reminding you = verging on HARASSMENT: my 16 month old dog has normal tartar buildup, I and the vet agree on that. They've seen her 5-6x and NICELY reminded me 2-3x she should have her teeth cleaned and this is getting REALLY old. I have two small dogs, so I have to break their shots up over multiple visits: does this REALLY mean I'm going to be NICELY reminded 4-6x times EVERY year, for the next 20-50 years about EVERYTHING they deem a problem ??? Why can't they put in I said NO and STOP reminding me EVERY TIME ???

She and all of the staff were very friendly and professional. still saw Daisy even though we were late due to ride issues thank you.

I like the new Dr.s they are friendly and helpful and definitely know how to handle my big dog and any animal. Also I have my dad’s dog now and she started having a skin issue that was making her constantly itch. Dr. V suggested a med (shot) that was safe and affordable and it worked beautifully. I haven’t seen any skin issues at all since that, knock on wood. I appreciate all the info and time the drs take with my dogs.

One of my dogs likes to give constant kisses and they had to assign someone to be kissed so she could have her blood drawn for her annual exam! Our other dog was there also. She is always popping up mysterious bumps. On our last visit with her the vet who saw her actually documented and measured all the bumps so that we knew that the ones that we were concerned about hadn’t changed at all! Xena and Penelope always love to go!

Experiencia fantástica: EVERY person at this facility is amazing. From the front desk to the kind people who clean up my dogs' pee, to the techs and the vets. It is very hard for my dog to trust people and I always know we are in good hands here. I have seen all the vets at one time or another and they have all been professional, kind, compassionate and informative. Even as my dog is facing probably her last few months with me, I know they always have our best interest at heart. I will bring all future pets here if/when I get any.

Experiencia fantástica: All the staff and Dr Lee was fantastic!! My dog had a huge anal gland that was infected and she was in a lot of pain. I am a new patient and called New Years Eve and they got me in, in two days. They gave me their suggestions and a sheet of paper on the hat everything costed and never pressured me. I am disabled and still waiting on Disability so I got what was needed to tx my dog. Will be coming back to see Dr Lee. Recommend a friend that was looking for a good Vet. Hopefully she’ll love everyone like I did.

Not only did they get us in the day after christmas but they still took us even though we were late due to me misunderstanding the appt time! My 6 month old tuxedo kitty had an allergic reaction and Warren's woods vets were amazing! They were informative, understanding, and relatable!

Experiencia fantástica: THE EMPLOYEE'S HERE REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR FUR BABIES!! ❤️❤️ My Queen Lil Lady isn't the easiest to take care of, She's very reactive! But the way They handled Her was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! After Her procedures, They have called a couple of different times checking on Her, asking how she was doing with Her meds. After a couple months of my Baby Girl being sick, She is officially getting better! Dr. Lee and Staff are truly the BEST OF THE BEST!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Warren woods vet was fantastic with my 2 dogs. They were actually listening to what was going on with my dogs and didn’t try to take us for everything we’ve got. They are caring, compassionate and have great personalities. I highly recommend them. I’m thrilled I finally found a place I feel comfortable bringing my animals.

My kitten Snowball loved the vibes ❤️ Thank yall so much for being so kind and gentle to my 4month year old - we left out with a educational goodie bag that had tips as well on how to take care of my kitten. The area was very clean with a pleasant smell , and most importantly the staff was very respectful and informational.

Experiencia negativa: I paid about $1200 to get my female dog fixed. When I showed up I signed a paper stating it would be $750. After the surgery I was given the actual price and the nurse said that the $750 is where the scale starts for pricing and that she was sry for not telling me beforehand. After calling around I believe I was extremely overcharged and will not be returning. I was very happy with the service and the way they treated my dogs otherwise.

Experiencia positiva: First time going to this vet a week ago, facility was nice, front desk staff was friendly, however when my dog and I got into the room the visit felt very rushed. I was taking my dog in for a post op er visit due to cluster seizures, I had a lot of questions to ask as this is all new having an epileptic dog now but my dog was anxious so I felt the tech and vet wanted him to be done with the visit as he was crying and barking loudly. The tech was nice and gave me options for new flea and tick and heart worm medications which I purchased, the vet came in and was out within 5 minutes. She was nice but very short with the visit. The entire visit took maybe 10 minutes, I ended up having to take him back to ER for seizures this week where I had the ER doctor and staff there answer all my questions. We will try again here when seizures are controlled.
