Experiencia fantástica: Front desk staff was very accommodating and understanding despite my late arrival of almost 15 mins. We were called in shortly after, our vet tech was very helpful and polite, as well as the doctor, who was wearing a mask and initially informed me that she was sick, asking if I was ok to allow her to be in the room with me, which was very considerate. She was gentle with our dog, and spent a long time petting and rubbing her while explaining everything to me in great detail while suggesting a few products and solutions to a few minor issues our dog is experiencing. I am not able to give any suggestions, please keep doing what you are doing! Additionally, we came to look into adopting a dog 9 years ago, and decided that we weren’t a good fit. We were recommended a much bigger dog, who was a pitbull mix. We were skeptical of having a pitbull at first because of what we have heard in the media, but decided to meet him anyway. He went straight to my wife right away and we both fell in love. We adopted him a couple days later and he was the sweetest, cuddliest, funniest, most protective and best dog ever. He’s in doggy heaven now and we miss him dearly still after almost 4 years since we put him to rest. We are forever grateful for Serenity for matching us with him and ultimately giving us the opportunity to develop this irreplaceable relationship and emotional support that he gave us.

Experiencia fantástica: First time taking my rescue dog Bella to vet. Coming from a foster home Bella was very shy. The techs and veterinary doctor handled her very well. She was scared went she went in and came out wagging her tail. They even checked up on Bella a few days after to see how she was doing. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Meyer saved my cat’s life!!! He was experiencing repeated urinary blockages and we had to get him emergency PU surgery (at a different animal hospital due to time constraints). Unfortunately, the other animal hospital put him on post-op pain relievers that caused severe diarrhea. This diarrhea, and strict instructions to not clean his incision, ultimately led to a severe UTI. Months and months and thousands of dollars later, they ultimately gave up and told me his UTI was untreatable. That’s when my mom recommended I take him into Serenity. Dr. Meyer has a true love for kitties and it warms my heart. She took exceptional care of Arthur, prescribed him with the appropriate antibiotics and dosage, and a month later he is UTI FREE! He’s even using his box again. I am eternally grateful for Dr. Meyer for helping us get off this emotional roller coaster. Arthur’s been through so much this year and she was able to give him his quality of life back. Thank you Dr. Meyer!!! We love you!!

Experiencia fantástica: They put the “serene” in serenity. Right away as you walk to the front door, you are greeted with beautiful gardening and landscaping. Vines cascade down towards the koi pond. Yes, your vet has a koi pond right outside the front doors! Walking in, the lobby and front desk are just as special. Ample room to sit and wait for your provider. There is a super cool large turtle pond inside and many geckos/lizards in their decked out habitats. Last but certainly not least, they also have a cat adoption center. It is a fish bowl type of set up where people in the lobby can look in to the rescue cats. Heck, you may leave with another furry friend! They also work with other animal rescues to help foster and adopt out. Staff is kind, knowledgeable, throughout & helpful. Dr. Meyer is a cat guru & I couldn’t imagine instructing my fur baby with anyone else. Experiencia fantástica: I called Serenity to see if I could bring my cat in she hadn’t eaten in several days. The lady who answered the phone was so wonderful! She asked me not only what was going on, but she told me that I needed to go right to the vet hospital. Which saved me the expense of going to both places. I called them back when I knew it was time to put my cat down. They were so compassionate and kind they got me in, the doctor was willing to squeeze me in the following Monday. We went into the first room, and the doctor came out and spoke with us, was so kind and compassionate. Then we went into another room that was made to look like a kind of living room, homey. That’s where my sweetie passed. And they were so wonderful. I can’t say it enough. I had put a dog down many years ago and it was nothing like this. When they call themselves serenity they are absolutely right. Thank you so much, Dr. Sherman. You were wonderful and I really appreciated that.

Experiencia fantástica: This is where I got my sir Winston, the people were very nice from the front desk all the way to the doctor they took x-rays. They showed them to me. They explained it. Everything was wonderful. I can’t tell you how thankful I am that he took such good care of him. I highly recommend this place. Everyone there is so sweet and kind. I will be returning for his follow ups. Anything else that comes up this was my first time being there and it will probably be my permanent. That’s how much I like the people there.

Experiencia negativa: I needed my Bassett Hound seen because a cyst on her ankle that was there for years burst and was bleeding and her foot was swollen. Dr Thomas was fully booked that day and couldn't see my dog so I sent in pictures per their request. Dr Thomas gave me antibiotics and pain meds without seeing my dog. She became increasingly worse over the course of 24 hours and couldn't walk or stand. I rushed her to the emergency room at 5am and the foot was so bad she had to be put down. I WAS DEVASTATED!! I received a card from the emergency room but NO CALL OR CARD from Serenity or Dr Thomas and I know for a fact Serenity had the Emergency room records. We were patients for there for 3 years. My next dog will never step foot near that awful, unsympathetic, money-hungry operation EVER!!

Experiencia positiva: I really like majority of the staff here. When I called to make a nail trim appt for my dog, the lady(Julie?) was very nice and helped make the appointment without a problem. I’ve been here a few times before. When I brought the dog in, all of the sudden it was an immediate no and they couldn’t see her due to her needing some sort of sedation medication and that “could take 2 hours”. I am disappointed no one told me about this before the appointment was made. Over the phone I was told there was no problem and they would be prepared to see her but the lady in person (Rosha) was rude and made it seem like my fault the appointment was not able to be had when in reality, I was never told. I am not sure why it was not clearly communicated before the appointment was even scheduled or put her in notes so anyone could have verified I would have needed an additional 2 hours. The lack of communication was really disappointing. I will return but not to see Rosha. Anyone else is great. :)

Experiencia fantástica: The Staff at Serenity are always kind, compassionate and patient. Our Senior dog Powen is nearly blind/deaf and a diabetic, 16-years-old and they handle him with care. Even our big girl Zelda who is seven-years-old has sensitive skin, doesn’t like baths nor nail trims, but they seem to understand her and have no problem with her. Being that our dogs are rescues, their kind and compassionate behavior is much needed. Although prices are a bit high, the way they treat your pet matters more! Dr. Sherman is the Best!

Dr. Karen Michalski’s knowledge on the greyhound breed is second to none. We have adopted 2 galgos from Spain from their adoption center and it was a great experience. Our 3rd came to us as a puppy from the center as well. We pass many veterinary offices and hospitals to get to this one, and the service is so exceptional, we wouldn’t ever think of going to the ones close to our home. We highly recommend their boarding facility as well. We think of Serenity as a safe place for our dogs and a second home when we would take a weekend vacation out of town. All of our dogs love going there. If your looking for a great place to take your pet for boarding, grooming and wellness checks all under one roof... Serenity is the place!!

Experiencia negativa: Really set off ! brought my 2 dogs in and the employees laughed as I was struggling to hold each on the scale they did not want to be weighed. Absolutely rude and unprofessional. Then asked if I brought a stool sample which I was not asked to do when booking the appointment and got an exhausted tone when I explained that it was never brought up. Doc proceeded to do extra examination (may not disclosed as part of this vet trip). From the moment I walked in 3 items were added to my bill that may not have been discussed at time of setting up the appointment, or I was told about only after service was rendered.It’s such a shame the last time I was here it was pleasant but clearly I got a lucky draw last time. 4 people standing around and not one was like her can we assist. I just left another vet for using harsh and inappropriate methods and based on this I’m not convinced my pets are in caring and safe hands. Office staff calls me and makes a genuine attempt to try and mitigate the situation, however would not hold their people accountable for their staffs actions. When posed with the question “if I can get the same care at vets A,B, or C. Why would I choose you considering what happened?” As soon as this question is posed the office manager states that the surprise items were explained on a call. Which to be fair could have been I made the appointment approximately 2 weeks prior. However I recall mentioning that a prior vet had provided vaccines without a vet and they would inquire, but we confirmed 2 shots for each dog. They claim that they take the best care of animals but I’m not comfortable with them. I am not asking for people to get fired or anything just that there be a discussion about how they chose to conduct themselves and represent their business. As I told their office manager had their staff been laughed and been like “here let me help” or “ don’t worry about it if they don’t want to get weighed we can weigh them in the back “ ( was told those bother were options they could have taken). Then my only point of contention would have been the fact that when arriving at the desk they confirmed 2 shots each but mentioned nothing about additional services that needed to be rendered. I explained to the office manage that I was already weary of vets after the last vet dragged my dog to the back after years of being nothing but sweet to them, I also communicated that to this vet on my original visit.

Overall it is very a great place Staff is very friendly and very good with our dog Isabella. The vet makes sure our dog was not scared of her before she started the examination which was very nice for our dog who can be a little scare when new people do things to her.

The techs and drs really know what they’re doing and explain things in a way that’s easy to understand. They take care of your animals as though they were their own. It’s a bit farther of a drive from where I live now but I’ll always do it.

I had drove past Serenity, thinking it was some nice restaurant. Googled it and turns out it’s a vet office that looks like a spa! Beautiful outdoor landscaping with vines and a koi pond. Indoor turtle pond in the front lobby, lots of lizards/geckos/chameleons in terrariums, & even a cat adoption center. Clean, friendly and accommodating.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff and great services. We have had 4 dogs and 2 rabbits that we have brought in for care. We love having Serenity as our vet! Easy to schedule and be seen. Our vet tries to save us money by coming to the lobby for a shot, for example, instead of us paying just to be seen in a room, which we GREATLY appreciate. The prices seem a little high but we get great care and Serenity is located 5 minutes from our house. 9/10 recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dog Dax got very sick within a short amount of time. My husband took Dax as soon as they opened. Dax had to stay all day for tests , medication and IV fluids. I received a call from Dr Sherman, a vet that we had not seen there before. Even though Dax was seriously ill, Dr Sherman was very knowledgeable, kind and reassuring on the phone. She explained everything to me and I trusted her knowledge. She was very patient with me, and answered all of my questions. Her love for animals that she cares for is very apparent. Dax received excellent care from her and the team at Serenity. Thanks to them, Dax is doing much better after a week. We followed her directions and she called me multiple times to check on Dax!! We wouldn’t want anyone else to take care of our fur babies! Thank you Serenity and DR SHERMAN!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Serenity is perfectly named. They are a safe haven for animals that need a home before finding their forever home. I adopted my very first cat, Georgie, from them, and he was well taken care of and very loved by them. Now he is loved so much by me and my family. We made the decision to keep bringing our little guy to Serenity for vet and grooming needs, and while we haven't gotten to that point yet as we've only had him for a month, I'm sure they'll take good care of him when we bring him in eventually. The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. I know people who have struggled with judgement over being disabled and wanting to adopt a pet at other places, but at no point did I feel judged or unwanted by Serenity. They simply wanted to make sure I was prepared and able to take care of Georgie. You will be treated kindly and with respect here no matter what. Just as they treat the animals!

Serenity veterinarians, technicians and staff have met all my needs in helping to assure that the both my cats are neutered, properly vaccinated, and have timely checkups and necessary grooming. The poor things were barely clinging, and not only did the people here take them in, but updated us to let us know they were doing quite well a couple days later. Plus the outside is very tranquil and well-maintained. Great place!

Experiencia fantástica: Maggie gets the best possible care at Serenity. Everyone there is animal lover and treats pets as if they were their own. When we board they say "can't she stay longer" and Maggie Mae is always anxious to go there. I would never take her any place else as long as Serenity is there. The facility is clean without a smell, has good equipment, friendly and knowledgeable employees, is a full service facility, very reasonably reasonably priced and goes beyond with programs set up for their clients. Very few places are as nice as this one !

Their communication and follow through is top notch, as well as their customer service. There isn't a single staff member who isn't willing to help and really put in the effort to provide information and give the best care to every patient. I fully trust their word and their treatment of my animals. The in-house boarding is also great and super convenient that it's all wrapped together with patient records and vet treatment. The pricing is decent and isn't over the top. I love Dr. Thomas, and the vet techs are always amazing. I could go on about how floored I am with finally finding a vet I can truly trust.

Experiencia fantástica: Update one year later: Zelda has been thriving under the care of Dr. Sherman and Serenity Animal Hospital. She is back to full energy and has been losing weight consistently since starting her thyroid medication. We are thankful for Dr. Sherman’s ability to figure out which tests were best to try first, because her instinct led to discovering Zelda’s imbalance quickly. I’m happy to have a veterinarian with an amazing veterinary staff who I can say I fully trust with my beloved pets’ care! I could not recommend them enough. - They were able to get our dog Zelda in for a next day, urgent care appointment, despite how busy their schedule is. Dr. Sherman is compassionate, knowledgeable and experienced, and was able to use her skills to determine what could be wrong with our 5 year-old GSD. We’re now on the road to getting Zelda’s thyroid in balance! I have so much appreciation for Dr. Sherman, and of course the amazing staff, at Serenity Animal Hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the only place I will take my dogs, the staff is so good with both my boys. Both of my dogs aren’t too fond of nail trims but the staff takes their time and is patient with them and always does a great job! And they get bandanas too!

She still takes time to address any and all of my questions and concerns and follows up with me herself to deliver blood work results as well.

The vet gave great advice and was very informative. You can tell that these people really care about critters and their owners. Experiencia fantástica: Been going to Serenity since the 90s. When they were across the street. The staff is friendly, they care. The inside is beautiful and tranquil. We had to put our dog down there before and it was a special room, more comforting than other experiences. We even got to adopt a cutie from there last week and we are thankful Serenity found this muffin bear so we could rescue him.

Yes, empathetic. Everyone there is a huge animal lover, enjoys being around animals, and feels a pull to help them. That's the kind of facility that I want to bring my fur baby to! I trust 100% in their treatments and will continue to trust them in the future. I highly recommend them.

She took the time needed to make our dog as comfortable as possible before beginning her exam. I have already begun referring friends to Serenity & am moving our other dog to the practice.
