Experiencia negativa: (1.) My cats and I had the WORST boarding experience of our lives here. When I picked my cats up from boarding after being out of the country for only 1 week, they would not eat or play with anything for 2-3 weeks! THEY WERE TRAUMATIZED by whatever these people did to my cats! Re: response to the not "offer boarding" reply from "the owner," it is meritless because as you have acknowledged, the boarding services were between the years of 2017- 2020, when Animal Clinic East DID provide extremely sub-par boarding services. I still have ALL receipts from this location. (2.) The technicians here do NOT know how to properly handle, comfort, and clip a cat's nails. I came for an appointment solely for a nail trim for my cats. The overweight Caucasian lady behind the desk claimed that they were unable to cut their nails "because they were stressed." Only the nails from ONE PAW OF ONE CAT was cut. Save your money because I immediately drove my cats to another local vet after leaving Animal Clinic East for solely a nail trim where they were able to get all of their nails - on all paws - trimmed without any issues, and I watched my cats remain still and calm the entire time.
Hi Sarah. We do not currently offer boarding at either facility and have not seen your cats since 2020. If they were boarded somewhere recently, it would not have been at our clinics. We do apologize that your experiences in 2020 and before were less than what you expected.

She has stopped crying and is her Happy Old Self! I did exactly what you said to do and now she loves to walk a little way with me! I am sorry for allowing my nerves to get the best of me! Please except my apologies and allow us to continue with you for her treatment and by the way, I do owe you for an office visit! Thank you again and you can have apple pie today, I am having crow!

Experiencia fantástica: Treats my fur babies with care, are super quick and friendly
Experiencia negativa: My appointment was made on Friday 2-6-26 at 3:30 pm for 2-12-26 at 9:30 am. When I arrived they told me I had missed my appointment from the week before on 2-5-26 Thursday. I hadn’t made my appointment till 2-6-26. It was the only call I made to them. They assured me it was my fault. I’ve always had great Vets there I now judge service by how the office staff is. If I have trouble there I don’t won’t more issues in the back.

Our doctor was still happy to see your pet at that time, but we understand if it was no longer convenient. Experiencia fantástica: I love Animal Clinic East! I run a wildlife rescue and also have domestic pets so I’m a frequent flyer. All the staff, from the front desk staff to the techs and vets, are incredibly friendly and compassionate. People get frustrated about the, but cost for routine veterinary care at ACE is on par with the average for our region, if not a little cheaper. I am so thankful to use them for my whole furry and scaley family.

Experiencia positiva: We had to take our leopard gecko in for a tail problem and they see exotic animals. They got us in quickly and helped take care of her. Since then the doctor called a couple times to check in on her status. Check them out if you have an exotic pet.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought Fancy (Toy Schnauzer) here after she had been acting ill and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. I did not have an appointment but walked in about 8:30 on a Friday. The staff was cordial and got me on the docket quickly. She was seen by Dr. James Craven whom I had not met before. I was very impressed with the experience and he was very thorough in his diagnosis, and explained things clearly. I think I was most impressed when he called on Monday to check on her. ACE is not my normal vet but I have found them to be very helpful in emergency situations or when you want a quick answer. I was very pleased with the visit and felt the price was fine for the amount of work performed. The best part was she felt better immediately and it was a relief to me. I have recommended them to others and will continue to!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this clinic!! We see Dr. Thomas Brady - he is amazing! He is extremely thorough, makes sure that you completely understand all details related to your furry family’s health and wellbeing. He genuinely cares about the animals he cares for. The ladies up front are always friendly, helpful, with positive attitudes. I highly recommend this animal clinic. They also have plenty of veterinarians on board, and vet techs, to support. I completely trust our Buster in their hands. Our Boston Terrier, Buster, started having seizures this year. Dr. Brady has taken extraordinary care of Buster. He was mindful of walking us through multiple options : diagnosis & treatment. All techs & front desk have been awesome.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr love was so great with Finn and answering my questions. She and the techs made me feel confident that they knew what they were doing and left things up to me as far as the future of my senior dog. They gave me hope in a time of uncertainty with my pet. They are kind and gentle with your animals. I would highly recommend them. Even the front desk employees are so kind and warm and welcoming.

Experiencia fantástica: I am always wary about going to the vet. It feels almost as bad as going to a mechanic. I can say that, without a doubt, my first visit to animal clinic was the most straightforward visit I’ve ever had with a Veterinarian. They were upfront about pricing, they were willing to tell me exactly what the cost would be for each service before I took my dog back, and to top it all off they were extremely kind, patient with me (I had 1 million questions), and thorough with their examinations. If you’re like me and looking for someone to take care of your four-legged friend, I would suggest coming here first.

Experiencia fantástica: The office is well run and they made Zeke and I feel at home. The vet and vet tech did a fantastic job interacting with Zeke and myself. Zeke is a large dog and cautious of people and as I said they did a great job making him feel comfortable. Both the vet and vet tech made sure I understood what Zeke was suffering from, it was an ear infection, and how I should apply the medicine to help him get well.

Experiencia fantástica: I have two Miniature Pinschers. One is like an out of control ping-pong ball, and the other is a big clumsy baby. But the staff is patient and loving with both. Why would I go anywhere else?

Experiencia negativa: I've been loyal to this place for decades. My grandmother went there back when it was B.. & Martin, before it became Animal Clinic on 23rd St. I even worked there with both Dr Martin’s and Dr. Myer’s. But my experience today at the Animal Clinic on Gunbarrel was ridiculous. The questions they asked were unnecessary, and then they wanted $75 just to make an appointment. I immediately called another vet-didn't pay a dime and got an appt for tomorrow. Ridiculous!! Bye Felicia

We would also like to address any concerns you may have had with a member of our staff.
Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional, Rude, and Dismissive. After multiple visits, I can confidently say I will not be returning to this clinic. Each appointment leaves me feeling belittled and frustrated. The vets consistently speak to me in a condescending manner, as if I’m incapable of understanding basic information. Rather than offering clear answers or solutions, I leave each time with more questions than I came in with—and still no resolution for my pet’s issues. The nurses are cold and unhelpful, and any attempt to advocate for yourself or call out the dismissive behavior is met with gaslighting rather than accountability. It's incredibly disheartening to be treated this way when you're just trying to get proper care for your animal. If you’re looking for a vet that listens, communicates clearly, and treats you with basic respect, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. This clinic has a long way to go in terms of professionalism and compassion.

Experiencia fantástica: I have taken my 4 dogs and cat here. I have taken 4 different kittens we have rescued here. They are so friendly, helpful, and professional. I appreciate everyone who works here. Recently, we took a group of 3 kittens someone found and gave to us to find homes for. They’re about a month old. They had eye infections, upper respiratory infections, and worms. They were so rough, I was afraid they might not make it. We brought them in immediately and they took really good care of all of them and gave us pointers, medications, and reassurance. So far, so good. Keep us in your thoughts and keep your fingers crossed for these little kittens please and thanks. I am going to post a picture of them on Friday before the vet and yesterday (Sunday) so you can see the improvement in one weekend.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Faulk is absolutely the best! She is so kind and loving to my all my pets. Recently She made follow up calls to check on my cat when she was sick. She offered and guided me and my daughter through every available option for our aging cat, Mitzi. And when Mitzi just could not function comfortably any longer, Dr Faulk was there for us to compassionately help us and Mitzi to the end! The rest of the staff were also so sweet , gentle , kind and understanding through that painful process. We love you all and so thankful you were and are here for us and our fur babies!

Experiencia negativa: This place has tried to drive me nuts. 50% of the time, I leave surprised that the service was marginally acceptable, the rest of the time, I want to get inebriated, but, I can't drink because I take a double dose of Zoloft and Klonipin b4 going. Why do I keep going? Because I'm in my 80s n I forget how terrible they are. Look at their reviews on their website, gotta be cut/paste.
Experiencia fantástica: I called this clinic because I had a few general questions about my leopard geckos health. I was worried that I had accidentally made her sick. The receptionist was very kind and helpful and the veterinarian even took time out of her day to answer all of my questions and help calm my nerves. My gecko ended up being completely fine and I really appreciate the care they gave me, even if it was only over the phone. If I ever do have to bring my gecko to the vet this is where I'll be taking her.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr love was super accepting of me and my pup enoch. We started coming to this location in his senior years and he has had some bad breath/teeth issues for a while. We weren't able to do much about it because my pup was really feisty (17 year old jack russell terrier) and sedating him for a teeth cleaning was expensive and difficult due to his heart issues. She never judged us for our decisions and never commented on my dogs bad breath. And when his time came the ladies who worked there gave me some great resources. (We ended up choosing lap of love and it was definitely the ideal situation for our dog). Dr love helped us through some tough diagnosis with his kidneys and heart and helped us find some good options for our baby. Thank you animal clinic east! Everyone who works here is super understanding and endearing.

Experiencia fantástica: My first experience was in November with the downtown campus with my dog, Lacey, my sweet girl. She was extremely sick and her kidneys were failing and she received a flush. A few days later she passed away. Of the 17 years of memories I had with her this was the worst one. We came to this location to have her cremated. The love, compassion, care, patience, understanding, empathy and support we received was nothing short of amazing and truly a blessing. The prayer, the Rainbow Bridge letter, the paw prints really broke my heart even more but I appreciated that you took the time to do this. When we brought Lacey in she was in a small box. I really wish you had met this sweet girl when she was feisty and thriving. You treated her so well as if she was your dog and that is now why I now bring my other dog to you. But they were strangers to us, and had so much care and compassion. Thank you Jennifer (I believe this name is correct, please forgive me if not) who was so patient and understanding when my anxiety began to get the best of me. Thank both of you for talking to Flossie like she was yours too. Thank you for laying in the floor with us and with her. Thank you for your 100 “I’m sorry”s. Thank you for helping our baby girl cross over. On the worst day imaginable I’m so grateful for you. I wish you could have seen her on one of her best days, so that’s the pic I will use. She was a fierce guardian, but a beautiful and kind girl. Her Mama and I will miss her forever.

Experiencia fantástica: We have taken our dog here since we adopted him several months ago. They have been so helpful and caring as we got him healthy after his time as a stray. They answer all our questions and are very helpful with recommendations specific to our dog’s breed as we haven’t had a GSD before.

I am a first time pet owner so I had a lot of questions, but the staff took their time to make sure I had the knowledge and resources to make good choices. I cannot recommend this clinic enough!

Experiencia negativa: My little 14 yr old boston terrier was prescribed 2 to 3x the strength of drugs for her body weight in all 3 prescriptions given. And then, 2 of scripts should have never been prescribed together. She died a horrific painful torturous overdosed death less than 8 hrs after taking her first doses. Whoever gets their scripts together should be fired for incompetency and negligence. The owner (in his own words) has a judge in the family or else I'd sue the pants off them only bc I dont want this happening to another animal and family. :''('''' Check the scripts dosages yourself online before giving them to your beloved pets!!!

My puppy was hit by another dog and lost her eye but the staff and Huey at animal clinic East made the process of healing easy on us and my baby. They helped in whatever way they could and know my baby is fully recovered! I will always recommend animal clinic East and dr. Huey!

Experiencia negativa: Took my bird there and apparently they didn't know how to handle him and he bit his toe which has now lead a deformity of his toenail. "It'll be okay she said." He was only there for a check up. Don't take your bird here. And I call this morning to see how much putting my 5lb dog down.....$168??? I think or $180ish! Talk about taking advantage of somebody. Ashlyn terrace only charges $89. I had already made my mind up about not taking my bird there again.Now I sure as hell won't be taking anything else ever again. Btw 2 months ago they seen my dog that I need to have put to sleep now. Told me He was in perfect health.He just had a eye infection and a ear infection. For 3 days i've had to sit and listen to my poor dog cry because he is in so much pain. Compassionate people?

If the eye and ear problems that your pup was having in January had not resolved, a recheck would have been highly recommended so that we could assess further treatment options for your little one to help them feel better. Experiencia fantástica: I appreciated I was squeezed in last minute before the weekend. When we arrived my dog was very anxious so they put is in a private room to wait instead of the waiting room. That made things much easier, specifically because she was having anxiety the past few days before Friday. They set great expectations on when I would be seen. Everyone was polite and accommodating - Dr. Falk, the vet techs, the front desk folks, etc. I noticed a few customers that came in to pay or pick up stuff that look alternative (like me!!!) and I felt that everyone was treated fairly even if we look different. I super appreciated that as well. Unfortunately sometimes we aren’t treated the same way as everyone else just because we look different. I have been recommending everyone I know to your practice and those that have really have been enjoying it. I usually go to the other (downtown) location just out of convenience but I had a wonderful experience here too so I wanted to share my positive experience at this location as well. Thanks again and hopefully I don’t need to come in unexpectedly anytime soon but it’s always a pleasure. Thank you!!

Animal Clinic has always given exceptional care to Callie while also sharing details to help me understand the care she’s receiving. Animal East doesn’t care for just a current symptom, but as well, as we would suggest in human care, Animal East has cared for the whole person. They have, as well, given the time needed to fully hear from me share everything taking place. Never have I been rushed out the door, not have they tried to talk me into any specific care. They have listened, given complete exams, communicated throughout processes, & have given attentive care as well as compassion. They are, indeed, the best place for my animal’s care & for my comfort as well. I highly recommend Animal East! Best care ever!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to this clinic because of a fairly time sensitive issue with my parrot. When I called, they were very friendly and made room for me to bring him in right away. Dr. Falk was the vet that we saw and she made the effort to contact his previous vet (who was out of town) to get some information before I arrived. Dr. Falk was wonderful with him. She took great measures to cause as little stress on him as possible but was still very thorough. She followed up with me after the first appointment very quickly with additional information for me to review. He needed some additional testing and I received a very clear estimate from them on what the costs would be from the low end to the high end so I knew what to expect. When he went back for his testing, again, as nervous as I was for him, I knew he was in good hands and he was treated with great care and affection. They were very good with him and once again I received very thorough follow up phone calls & emails with results and information. They staff was all very friendly and treated my parrot and me very well. I would definitely recommend this facility.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly, my son and daughter in law take their 2 dogs there. My sons dog that I take care of due to arthritis and not able to climb 3 flights of stairs needed care for mass on his face near his eye. We seen Dr. Mator see was excellent in explaining everything to us. Thinking it was his last visit, she gave us hope on bringing our big boy home with me. Working on next steps of care, possible tooth extraction. Update: Khole went for a 1 week check up. I wanted to believe he was getting better but Dr. Mator did not see improvement. Continued care until decisions were made. On March 6th Khole came to me and laid his head on my knee as if to say " MOM I'm tired! The look in the amazing boys eyes I knew. I called my son and made the hard decision Khole said it was ok. They had an appt schedule that evening and surrounded by loving family, Face timing with my Grandson who are best buddies while Khole ate his ice cream Sunday and donut. Khole was so protective over myself and Grandson that the inability to get a full view of his mouth was treated to what we thought was best. He did not put up a fight with his iv. After examining Kholes mouth it was confirmed to be a large soft tissue mass. We now know we did the right thing that day. We brought him back home after he was prepared for us to have him home forever. I came home and our other 2 dogs were acting as to say " where is Khole?" They are still looking for him although they know he didn't run away. They said goodbye to him before he was moved to his Forever home with us. Animal Clinic East was so professional and caring with our situation. I would recommend to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I meant to initially put five stars. This was my first time at a vet and they made my pup and I feel so welcomed. The front desk even told me we can come back to visit without an appt,so our dog can get used to people and other dogs.

Experiencia fantástica: Genuinely wonderful staff from front desk, to techs to vets. A bit pricey for nail trims (double that of my previous vet) so I'll have to start doing them myself, but they clearly love your fur babies like you do and have a sweet manner to keep them calm.
Experiencia fantástica: If I could give them more stars I would. I had a negative experience at another vet locally and was looking for another option as my cat Milo was in and out of the vet constantly with urinary issues. I came to this clinic with my cat Milo for a check up soon after. I had an amazing experience! He was seen quickly and was taken such good care of for his checkup. About a month later, my little guy was not doing well again and we made the sad decision to put him down. This was the first time I had to put a pet down and this clinic made a horrible situation just a little bit better. I called in, an absolute mess, to explain the situation and was met with kindness and gentleness. The reception workers assured me that any time I could get in with him they would be ready with a private room. When we arrived, we were taken back immediately where we were able to speak with a vet who helped us through the process. The whole process was handled both professionally but with so much care and thoughtfulness. After leaving and being heartbroken about our kitty we received his paw print through the mail this morning. Not only did they give us a piece of our little guy to remember, but also a kind, handwritten note from the staff. I can not thank this clinic enough and recommend that you take your pet somewhere where you and your pet will be treated with kindness. Dr. Gauldin and Erin, thank you especially for being there with us to say goodbye to Milo, we will always be so grateful for how you both went above and beyond to make him comfortable and safe for his last moments.

Experiencia fantástica: I normally go to one of their other locations, but went to this location for urgent care when my dog got hurt. In spite of the staff not knowing us and my heeler having behavioral challenges, they went above and beyond to keep his comfort in mind and take care of us. This was a stressful situation made a little bit easier by the kindness and care of the people at this office.

Experiencia negativa: I took my dog there this morning and asked how much her visit was going to be. I was told one thing and when I went to pick her up, it was much more. When I spoke with the manager, she said she asked her employee who checked us in if she told me that and the employee said no she didn’t. And they said they have no idea where I came up with the amount that they told me. They were unwilling to honor what they told me. But they did offer to let me pay half and then half later. That wasn’t the point. I had the money, I just wanted them to honor what they said. So they’ve lost a long time customer. My dog has been going there for 8 years. But not any more.

Experiencia positiva: The vets are great but just know that they do not open the doors until 7 am. I was told to have my cat there for surgery no later than 7 so I assumed I should be a few minutes early and had to wait. They are also a bit pricey.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a client of Animal Clinic East for about a year now. I see Dr. Love because I have a Boxer and she does, too, so I know she knows the unique issues that come with the breed. She's been great with my boy, who's a rescue and has some problems. She's patient with him, answers questions about treatment options, and seems to be up to date on current literature and treatments, which is really important to me. The office and techs have been great, too. The only thing I don't like is the inability to see a doctor on Saturday. I ended up taking my cat to my previous vet for an emergency because they were open on a Saturday and I didn't want to go to the emergency vet who didn't know him at all. Most people work during the week and it's very inconvenient not to have vet staff on the weekends even for regular visits.

Experiencia negativa: My sweet miniature daschund is so very sick. I have been to this clinic twice this month. Dexter is 14 years old and has lost 2 lbs in two weeks. I just had him at the clinic Monday. My income is limited as I am 72 years old. I ask for blood work to determine the issues he was having. I told them I could pay $100 on Minday and the balance a week from Friday. They wouldn't do the test since I couldn't pay. Instead they gave me the same medication that was given two weeks ago. Of course this appointment was $106, this could have gone toward the blood tests I requested. To date they have charged $232 and Dexter has not improved. This clinic is only interested in money. I have spent thousands at this clinic over the years with my dogs and cats. If Dexter lives long enough I will try to find a vet who are not so money driven After posting this review I had to make the decision to have Dexter euthanized. He lived 2 days never eating never getting off my bed.
Experiencia fantástica: We had to make the very hard decision to end our cat’s suffering at Animal Clinic East. I’ve been to many vets offices and by far these are the most caring and compassionate people. They took such good care of our boy, Rudy….and us. I can’t thank them enough for the experience they gave us. They truly went above and beyond and sent us a lovely card and our babies paw print. Thank you thank you thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Our precious Betty, our golden retriever nearly died from an illness and we felt so helpless. The staff took such great care of her and calmed her the entire time. She was kept as comfortable as possible. They installed a microchip for future safety and continue to give all her shots and medication. She still remembers how they saved her life and wags her tail with excitement every time we visit. We are forever grateful to the doctors and staff who are exceptionally caring and gifted.

Experiencia fantástica: I tried 5 different vets prior to ACE and was unimpressed by their staff. As a pet parent who takes preventive care and medications seriously I appreciate the staff here meeting my concerns with compassion and solutions. We see Dr. Love and will continue to bring our pets here thanks to her wonderful care as well as the helpful attitude of all the employees.
Experiencia negativa: The quality of care at this vet has hit rock bottom. I took my pet there in September 2022 for nasal bleeding. We were given antibiotics, which was fine. Then I had to make two trips for the follow up due to the Doctor's clerical error. X-rays were taken, and allegedly the nostrils were flushed. I was told there were masses in her chest cavity/lungs. No remedies were offered to help with the bleeding, beyond Deramax and Benadryl. Fast forward to 12/27/22, my pet had blood GUSHING from her nose overnight, and 1900 dollars later at VCA RIVER, we found out she had a mass in her nasal passage (that WAS NOT detected at Animal Clinic), and drugs were prescribed to help with her bleeding including a nasal solution for me to use. So not only was my time and money wasted at Animal Clinic East, my pet needlessly suffered from insufficient care. Either Animal Clinic East needs new equipment or new staff or both, but I am highly disappointed that I did not get the quality of care I paid for, and then had to pay a premium later to make up for their poor performance. Animal Clinic used to be a place I would recommend but now I will be seeking a new vet.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best Veterinary clinic ever! The staff, techs, Vets, etc. are so genuinely respectful, caring, & knowledgeable, and most importantly, they truly care about your pets, who are also your family members and are treated as such! They also care for the "parents" and are there for them through every step of the care and treatment of their "babies". I have personally witnessed at least three instances with three different pet parents in which they went above and beyond to take care of their pets in extremely difficult situations. In one case in particular, a friend's cat was in it's final minutes/hours, and in desperation, he called the Vet (another clinic that is closer to where he lives) who had been caring for and trying to diagnose the reason for his baby's decline in health: They told him there was nothing they could do because they were closing in 5 minutes (it was a Saturday). He then called Animal Clinic East (who had NOT even seen him before), and they told him to come on in...They would stay open and wait for him! Sadly, his baby didn't make it, but they waited, as promised, and took the time with him to make arrangements that very day. That kindness went such a long way. I would very highly recommend Animal Clinic East to anyone in need of a veterinarian.

Experiencia positiva: Great vet clinic. They're always able to see our pets and answer questions in a timely manner. Our kitten was spayed recently and the doctor was very informative, and called to check up on our kitty several days after the surgery. The staff are kind and care a lot about the animals that come in. Our go to clinic.

Experiencia negativa: We have been going to Animal Clinic for several years and been pleased with the way our pets were treated, but over the last 2 years things have changed for the worse. They used to stay open late at night and on weekends, but no more. Before the changes, you could get your pet seen when needed, but now appointments have to be made weeks in advance to see the vet of your choice or for an additional $80+ you can bring your pet in and see whoever is on call. The "on call " vets are either lacking in knowledge or ability. I feel we get the third string of vets. Twice our pet was misdiagnosed. We took him in with swollen stomach and bowel issues. One vet said he was overweight and another couldn't find anything. We later discovered our pet had liver cancer. The changes in the office procedures, the lack of proper care are no longer acceptable to me. Further, the clinic has become a corporation in their actions rather than a care facility. We are in the process of finding a new vet and a better situation for our pets.

All of our doctors work as the walk-in doctor on a rotating basis so that we are able to see and care for urgent care patients that otherwise may not be able to wait for an appointment time which is typically available within a few days. Experiencia fantástica: The staff here was absolutely amazing with my reactive dog! I was nervous taking him somewhere new after moving, but they made everything as easy as possible. Both the vet and the tech were so incredibly kind and gentle to my pup. The receptionist was also super accommodating, letting us wait in the car until an exam room was available. Everyone here made what could have been a stressful experience a breeze! The cost of our visit was also very reasonable, especially since we had to come as a walk-in. Thanks so much to all the staff! We'll definitely be back for our routine visits!
Experiencia fantástica: Went in to have our dog brought up to date on shots and have his nails trimmed. Our appointment was at 2 and we left at 3. All medications were went over in great detail. What really prompted me to give this review is the overwhelming patience and understanding given when my toddler who is in the routine of 2pm naptime went into melt down mode. He cried for at least half of our visit. Each time I apologized I was met with, "no, he is fine. Don't worry". They then offered to check me out in the exam room so that I didn't have to carry my at the moment boneless, screaming, exhausted baby into the waiting room and struggle in front of others waiting. Thank you for taking great care of my fur baby and for being so accommodating towards my cry baby.

At my dogs last check up we had mentioned a few symptoms he was having latley and the vet mentioned it could be Cutching's disease but it requires blood work & since my dog has such high anxiety w/the vet she said we'd have to sedate. A few weeks later I called and specifically said I wanted to schedule the test. Okay scheduled it got an estimate...which was $1000 (so much money!) But I wanted to check him for this disease. Get to the appointment and its a different vet. Okay, no big deal. So he says there were a lot of test on my tx plan and he didn't think my dog would need all of them but would see. Well it still ended up being about the same amount. I was told I'd get a call late next week with results. Weeks past and never herad anything. Left several messages. Finally gets back to me and said its all normal and gave antibiotics. That didnt help. After all this he was never even tested for Cutching's disease! So what on earth did I just pay for?! Im just reqlly frustrated and feel taken advantage of.
Experiencia fantástica: I had multiple recommendations as an excellent place to take my dog Ripley. It was time for her to be groomed so I scheduled an appointment. When we came in the waiting area was clean, open and uncluttered. Staff attended to us almost immediately and got us checked in. The groomer who took Ripley back was very friendly and Ripley took to her almost immediately. When I picked her up Ripley smelled much better and her claws were nicely trimmed. She did very well and seemed to enjoy the attention. The only thing she didn't seem to care for was the cute bandana around her neck lol

Experiencia negativa: Animal Clinic East - Gunbarrel has to be hands down the worst vet. My dogs allergies have gotten terrible, called was told he doesn’t need an appointment bring him in, I get there and they say “oh if you don’t have an appointment he will be a walk-in” ok well I just called you said to bring him in. “Thats just for his shot. It’ll be 95 dollars for him to be a walk in, 65 if you had an appointment, We have appointments tomm” meanwhile my dog looks horrible hives everywhere. I am floored. The tech comes back and said dr said that it will still be the 95 to be seen today. Last time they forgot to give me my medicine, sent me home with an empty pill bottle. Called back in they said “oh sorry forgot to put those in there. Come back in, again” these people think that my time isn’t valuable, my dogs condition isn’t serious enough and they didn’t seem to care about him AT ALL! I WILL never go back to these people. They are the most unprofessional group of people!

Experiencia fantástica: we just recently had to put our 12 year old dog (Maggie) down here, and they were very compassionate and let us be there for the whole entire process. it was a very sad day, but they were very understanding and took very good care of our Maggie. i do recommend them 100%

Experiencia positiva: Awful grooming, left patches of long hair all over. My dog came home scared of baths and car rides like he’s never been before. I’m extremely disappointed and will never be taking him back. UPDATE: the clinic manager reached out and tried to make it right. I really appreciate the effort and have had good experiences with the clinical staff, so I will just avoid grooming.
