Experiencia fantástica: A pet parent asked me who to see while in the middle of a panicked emergency, and I couldn't say CARE fast enough. My little warrior has been treated so well and with such good communication/options at this location. She has had multiple quality of life emergency surgeries and minor surgeries with this location (genetic issues of pure breeds). The people who worked there were so kind with their time and breaking down their explanations (first time dog owner). Even in the middle of my emergency state of being they were patient, kind, and explained until I understood what was going on and why the treatment suggested was the best option over other paths of treatment. I know my little girl wouldn't be here without their expertise in their specialty, 24 hour emergency room, and amazing technicians that take exceptional care of the fur babies while in observation or recovery. I will always recommend this location and be grateful they gave me continued time with my first puppy.

My first time at an emergency veterinary facility, I was pleasantly impressed by the organization and priorities of this place. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, and it’s evident that your pet’s well-being is everyone’s top concern.

Experiencia negativa: I live almost 2 hours away from here. I was referred there by an emergency vet hospital to do an MRI to specify the condition that was causing my dog's problems. I called them before I even left the house to make sure they could do the test said they would said they put it on the board whatever they do. And when I get there, I had no clue who I was no clue what I was doing there, and then after I get there, I have to wait for over an hour before I even speak to someone. And then after someone finally come and talks to me. And takes my dog away to check on her. They don't even do the test. I come there for they gave me the basic rundown. The emergency hospital told me and basically said we won't do the. Mri, unless you agree to do surgery immediately after?If not, they told me to put my dog down, that was saturday, the 14th held February. My dog is now currently starting to walk again on her own. They told me there were no other options that it was surgery or put her down. No middle ground? No possible way she could live a decent life without full functioning legislation. Well, now she's starting to walk again without the surgery. Thank you so much. It's the fact that I called before I even left to go down there. And took me 2 hours almost to get there to get an MRI done to see what the problem was actually causing or what was actually causing the problem. And they didn't even do the test. Told me they would do it if I was going to go with surgery. But if not medicine have a good day. And then after I left, I drove all the way home. Then, I started getting texts about them. Needing my identification and my birthday. Because the forms they had me fill out didn't have that on there. Roone, slow service, and it's death or surgery there. Thank you so much. Experiencia fantástica: We were there for our first visit today, was anxious, nervous and worried. Had an appointment with Dr. Campbell and her team. And from checking in to checking out, was a breeze ,a piece of cake. We were so at peace and felt so important. They took time to talk to us ,explain our options and there recommendations, and answer any questions we had. Roscoe had his first treatment today, and so far all has went well. We felt at peace with the care ,love and compassion they showed our fur baby, and how good they treated him. Experiencia fantástica: We had a scary situation with our pup Lola at about 9:30PM (she ate a bunch of things she shouldn't have) and we immediately called CARE to ask for advice and next step. Someone answered after the first ring and gave us a gameplan on what to do next in about 30 seconds! We rushed over to the hospital and they told us to come in asap. They had an open room for us right away and were INCREDIBLE the entire time. Our baby was treated quickly and in depth, and the entire staff were so reassuring and kind throughout our evening there. We can't thank them enough and are glad to know they exists! Highly recommend this place if you have any type of emergency with your pets. 10/10 experience overall. We felt good leaving there even after a stressful evening.. I think that says a lot!
Experiencia negativa: I don’t typically leave reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. We brought our dog Joey to CARE on a Saturday as an emergency because he was unable to keep down food or water. They performed bloodwork, X-rays, and administered IV fluids along with an anti-nausea injection. We were told he had early signs of gastritis. We were advised that for early gastritis, supportive care with IV fluids and anti-nausea medication was appropriate and that his symptoms should begin improving within about 24 hours. Instead, once the IV wore off, his symptoms returned and actually worsened, he was leaking uncontrollably out of his bottom, and would go any food or water. Concerned, we brought him to our primary veterinarian. They reviewed the same diagnostic results and chose to treat him with IV fluids, anti-nausea medication, and an ANTIBIOTIC. Within 24 hrs, Joey made a significant turnaround and was back to normal. Both our primary vet and another veterinarian we consulted indicated that a broader treatment plan is standard and should have been considered given the diagnosis. It was extremely concerning to watch him decline after being told he should be improving. Had we not sought additional care, the outcome could have been very different. We could have honestly lost him. When we contacted CARE to discuss what happened, we were initially offered an insulting amount of a refund for the exam. We were then told that the original treatment approach was appropriate despite his worsening condition and need for further intervention elsewhere. That response was disappointing, especially when two other vets considered antibiotics a STANDARD approach Because of the seriousness of the situation and the conflicting medical feedback we received, we are pursuing a formal review through the appropriate boards. Accountability in emergency medical care is important for the safety of all animals. Thankfully, Joey recovered but it was based on our due diligence and instincts. We each took time off work and if we honestly hadn’t we’d probably come back to sad news. Shame on CARE and their customer relations for the terrible treatment and care for our pet and our concerns.

We brought our dog in on a Saturday because he was unable to keep down food or water. After agreeing to bloodwork, X-rays, IV fluids, and anti-nausea treatment, we were told he had EARLY symptoms of gastritis. The total bill was $883. We were informed the anti-nausea injection would last approximately 24 hours. After it wore off, he would get better. His symptoms returned and actually worsened by Monday. At that point, we sought a second opinion from our primary veterinarian. Using the same diagnostic results, they treated him with IV fluids, anti-nausea medication, and an antibiotic. Almost instantly he was eating again, and within 24–48 hours, he significantly improved and was back to normal. Our primary vet, as well as another veterinarian we consulted, indicated that this more comprehensive treatment approach would have been appropriate and typically standard given the diagnosis. If we had not taken the additional step of getting another opinion, I truly do not know what could have happened. Watching him decline after an expensive emergency visit was frightening because you want to believe the trained vet, are doing the right thing. When we contacted CARE to discuss our concerns, we were initially offered a $159 refund for the exam. We were later told that the original treatment provided was “correct,” despite his worsening condition and need for additional intervention elsewhere costing us even more money on top. It was disappointing that there was no willingness to meaningfully work with us given the outcome. Given the seriousness of the situation and the conflicting feedback we received from other veterinary professionals, we are pursuing a formal review of this case through the appropriate regulatory channels. Accountability in medical care, especially emergency care, is important for the safety of all animals. We are grateful our bud recovered, but based on this experience, we would not return. If you are seeking emergency care I would think twice about bringing them here. I’m sure their routine checkups appts are standard BUT when it comes to emergencies you want to be sure your pet(family member) is treated with the right care, not just treated as money coming in.
Experiencia negativa: Brought my dog Joey in on a Saturday, as an emergency. He could hold down his food or water. Agreed to letting them run tests and X-Rays. Came back with early symptoms of gastritis. He was given an anti nausea shot and medication, IV pack for dehydration. Bill came to $883. He then getting diarrhea on the ride home, which was told me a possibility of by the vet. About a day passes, he had been eating a little, drinking water. Then the shot wore off, which they said would last 24 hours. His symptoms came back, began to get worse on Monday. So, I then took him to our primary vet. They used the same test results to treat him. Another IV pack, anti nausea medication, but also an antibiotic. His symptoms cleared up within the next 24 hours. My primary vet didn’t have an answer on why he wasn’t given that treatment for the gastritis the first time. This was also confirmed by a third party vet, that he should have been treated with the 2nd visit. The report from CARE even said EARLY SYMPTOMS OF GASTRITIS He was pretty much back to normal within 48 hours of 2nd treatment. Called CARE to get some answers. Rebecca the client relations person, said she would look into it. Called me back, explained how they were sorry, that they would refund me $159 for the exam. Which I found a bit insulting. I would expect a full refund or at least for the amount that I had to pay at my primary vet. I basically paid for a band-aide instead of treatment at CARE. She informed me she would talk to administration and get back to me. A few days later she informs they gave him the right treatment. Which was false. Then asked me, why I didn’t bring him back into them for the follow up. Well Rebecca, why would I bring my dog back to the same vet, that didn’t give him the right treatment the first time. His symptoms didn’t get better, they actually got worse then they were the first time. My dog could have died. Luckily I took two days off work to keep an eye on him. Terrible experience, there are plenty of vets out there. I would not choose this one.
Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing. One of my dogs sees Dr Brethel and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is just awesome. I know my Molly is in the best hands. Everyone else is super friendly here as well and on top of medication refills, follow up appts, etc.
Experiencia fantástica: The best in our area for pet cancer care and prevention. Their team is very efficient and I’ve never had to wait over 10 minutes. They give my dog a good exam every 6 months plus immunotherapy. He looks and feels great.
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Amy Fauber & her neurology team are 5 stars plus! She is currently treating my little poodle mix - he’s the 4th dog I have taken to see her. Dr. Fauber is personable, professional & a medical wizard. I feel confident that she’s taking care of my pups like they were hers.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to take my puppy to CARE neurology the facility was very clean, good atmosphere and very polite employees at the front desk and with the neurology department. They took the time to address all my questions and provided clear answers. The tech and vet were both awesome and caring would highly recommend this organization.
Experiencia fantástica: From the time we walked in the door, the way we were treated very professional. The associate with the internal medicine team, took us to the room. She asked questions about what was going on with Radar. I did not feel rushed at all. She was very attentive to what I was saying. Ask if I had any questions. She told us that she was going to take Radar back and go over all the notes I have given her and with all the records from my other vets had sent in with the Internal Medicine Doctor. Then the doctor would come in and go over everything of what she notice about Radar and what she gathered from my other vets and come up with a game plan of what she might think it is and what to do. We came up with what we going to do and when the radiologist reads the x-rays results come back next week, we and we adjusted one of his meds and see how he does on that and tell her how his is next week. I wish Dr. S. Hensarling DVM could become my regular vet, but at least she is part of Radar's team. Thank you.
Experiencia fantástica: The entire CARE team was incredible. Unfortunately, we had to bring our dog in for an emergency situation and ended up having to put him to sleep during the same visit. We are absolutely devastated but the entire team treated us with dignity and respect the entire time, from the moment we brought him, Josh and Veronica were quick to get him assistants and seen right away. Acacia was incredible, got down to his level and asked us what was going on. Dr. Meddaugh delivered the news and heard us, listened and let us deal with the shock of learning about the news. Even today when I called to schedule time to pick up his remains, Lindsey was so kind and helpful. Everyone here really take the time to hear you and understands the grief you're feeling. I would high recommend CARE!

For the week she was with you, you communicated clearly and with kindness and tact, your doctors and nurses - all of them - knew Honey, her case, everything. The cost is no joke - but they make it very clear that it’s worth every penny spent.

Experiencia negativa: My father took our family cat there this afternoon after she fell off of our roof. They took her back where she sat, in pain, for a little over two hours. During this time, she was not seen or evaluated by a doctor and no pain medication was given. Finally, my dad told the receptionist that he was going to take her somewhere else because he was concerned she might have internal bleeding or a broken bone. When the nurse came to give our cat to my dad, she was giving my dad instructions on how to take her home. My dad had to inform her that he was taking her somewhere else where she would actually be seen and cared for. CARE exhibited a level of cruelty and incompetence this evening that is truly unbelievable. I will never be taking my animals to CARE again. If you love your animals, I strongly suggest you steer clear.
Experiencia fantástica: Great vet. We had an emergency on a Sunday morning and our regular vet was closed. They saw us immediately. Vet was very kind and professional. The visit only cost $200 which we were pleasantly surprised by.
Experiencia negativa: Brought my Family Pitbull to this place due to her having seizures, vomiting, and a fever. She had to stay at this place for two days, wasn’t able to see her and whatever was going on this place has her coming back completely traumatized. She HASNT gotten any better. We’ve been giving her the pills they prescribed, but she’s still sick and not acting like her usual self. They have not given any explanation on to why. She’s scared of everyone, doesn’t wanna play anymore, and it’s been two months! we’ve been as gentle as possible with her but unfortunately it’s like she’s a different dog. she only wants to hide and stay away from people. So much money spent just for her to come back worse! Never coming back here. I can only hope she gets better or I find a better place to take her to get help that doesn’t just take our money.
Experiencia fantástica: We’ve brought our pets a couple of times to CARE for emergencies. The facility is always clean, efficient, and the staff is kind. The wait can be long but that’s expected. They work based on what’s most important and I trust that they’re doing the right thing. The cost can be expensive but honestly reasonable for the services. We spent $900 for an emergency exam, bloodwork, X-ray, and prescriptions to bring home. A few days later and my boy is feeling all better. I'm thankful to have an emergency vet close by!

Good communication, full explanations, and the staff and veterinarians are all very friendly and professional. I highly recommend CARE for both emergency services or specialty care. This is the second time we’ve used Dr. Dvorak for gallbladder removal surgery for one of our dogs. Their name is perfect—they treat with a lot of care.
Experiencia negativa: It has taken me months to be able to write this. I was not only processing disappointment in the care my pet received at this practice, but also grieving the loss of pet who was only 3 when she passed on 10/19/25. Now that I have had time to reflect, I feel compelled to formally share my experience. My appointment on 06/13/25 was preceded by significant administrative issues. My original appointment was mistakenly canceled during, what was reported to be, CARE's transition to a new scheduling system. My original appt had been made months in advance & I was not notified until I called to confirm. This was stressful and upsetting, but I proceeded with the rescheduled visit because I was deeply concerned about my pet's condition. At that visit, I was charged over $1,300 for what amounted to very limited guidance. I was told to continue the same food and that she should be placed on blood pressure medication. I was also told that she “would not live a full life” with no further information or timeline provided. No meaningful treatment plan, prognosis, or next steps were explained to me in a way that felt supportive or clinically thoughtful. I left that appointment feeling confused and unsupported. I was told I would be contacted by the vet afterward to discuss next steps. That never happened. The only communication I received was a written summary. Despite this, a follow-up appointment was scheduled on my behalf for medication management—yet I could not reach the veterinarian to actually start the medication. This lack of continuity and communication was deeply concerning. Shortly afterward, I sought care elsewhere and took her to CityVet Marvin, where she was treated by Dr. Sandra Welch. The difference in care was profound. Dr. Welch placed my pet on a comprehensive, compassionate, and clinically thoughtful plan that included diet modification, supplements, hydration support, and true hospice-level management. My pet was given comfort, dignity, and real medical support in her final months—something I did not receive from CARE. It is heartbreaking to wonder how much better her quality of life might have been sooner if a more proactive, supportive, and thorough plan had been offered in June. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend CARE. I would, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Welch and CityVet Marvin instead, and I will be sharing their information with anyone who asks about veterinary care. I am not writing this lightly. My pet was deeply loved, and her loss has been devastating. I hope that by sharing this, some good may come from it in the form of better communication, better continuity of care, and more compassionate treatment of both animals and the people who love them.
Experiencia fantástica: Saved our cat's life. Midnight stopped eating for almost a week and no vet could determine the cause. We were referred to CARE and they admitted her immediately. They quickly diagnosed her with pancreatitis and started treatment. After she spent one night there, we were able to see her the next day and she was eating again. It was a miracle. The staff here are amazing and we loved that they sent us updates about how she was doing. It's been almost a half year and we're happy to say Midnight is still doing well. She's back to her normal weight. We cannot thank the staff and doctors at CARE enough!

Experiencia fantástica: This place is truly a gem. When my dog became very ill, our regular veterinarian referred us here due to complications from diabetes and mild pneumonia. The team acted quickly to provide care and took the time to clearly explain his condition and treatment plan, which was incredibly reassuring during a stressful time. Everyone was friendly, compassionate, and attentive. Because my dog needed to stay for several nights, the staff called both in the morning and evening with thorough updates on his progress, which meant a great deal to us. Thankfully, he has since fully recovered and is doing well. While we hope never to need emergency or extended care again, I would absolutely recommend this facility in urgent situations. Our veterinarian at Long’s Animal Hospital also spoke very highly of them, which further reinforced our confidence in their care.
Experiencia fantástica: The amount of time that went into thoroughly working to find solutions for my pup’s ailments and the doctor breaking everything down for me to understand was such an integral part of why I continue with CARE. This kind of field isn’t easy and they deliver information with such care. With emergency care and specialized vet fields, it’s of course a high price point, but it’s worth it for how diligent they are, in my opinion. The love that pours out of everyone towards the animals they take care of is noted! My pup is working through some tough things right now, but I’m much more relieved to know she has excellent care.

The staff was simply Amazing and Dr Hall went above and beyond and assessed her in a private room because of her symptoms and me so upset we felt Soo special. But in the end.. Experiencia negativa: Be prepared to spend $2000 a day. They asked for a $3000 up front and then 1.5 days later when I picked him up they had a balance of $1400 more. All the did was give IV for fluids and an antibiotic. Got a 4 page bill itemized and every time they checked his blood pressure it was $74. Basically there is no care that comes with the hospital stay. I showed my vet and they were shocked at the bill. I wouldn’t recommend them ever to anyone. Just a money making scam of pets.

The doctor was very thorough and I felt like I finally had a correct diagnosis for Stevie. He clearly communicated the action that needed to be taken in a personable and professional manner. The lady who greeted me made sure I knew where things were and offered to assist with anything I needed while waiting. Overall, a very positive experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I wish to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Douglas Margarucci at CARE for saving the life of my adorable Pony Boy. Pony presented with FIP, a complex, and very often fatal feline illness. He spent four days in their ICU receiving life saving care, followed by nearly six months of treatment and observation. Pony is living his best life now thanks to their expertise and guidance. Dr. Margarucci and his nurse treated me with warmth and compassion in a very dark period. I very highly recommend CARE, and urge all of you who are able, to support their foundation with a donation. They work so hard and give so much to assure the best outcome for our pets.
Experiencia fantástica: We went here with our dog having some strange symptoms - bloated, sensitivity to touch on his belly, not eating. We didn’t want to go because we knew it’d be so so expensive but went as we were worried for his health. Once there the staff were all extremely calm and welcoming and talked us through the cost at every stop of his process. We ended up getting his exam, ultrasound, x-rays and even some meds for under $600 which for an emergency vet was a surprise for us. We will definitely be back if we ever have an emergency again!
Experiencia fantástica: We had to have our girl Lucy seen for what turned out to be a toy obstructing her intestines over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend (and very lucky an emergency vet from another clinic called ahead for us). Lucy was taken back quickly for an exam and IV/fluids. While we did have to wait a while for news when we initially dropped her off, staff was up front that there would be a wait due to a few critical cases - totally understandable. The doctors were very kind, explained everything. The surgeon was super nice when we spoke on the phone, she talked through everything that would happen. Staff was great with Lucy, especially since she’s a very timid and shy dog. All off the post-op care was easy to follow, and instructions easy to follow. Lucy came home the next day and is on the mend. We are so grateful for CARE. She’s very drugged up in this picture.
Experiencia negativa: TL;DR: Avoid! I just sat at CARE for over 7 hours without my cat being seen. I won’t go into all the details, but I want to say that I completely understand that the most critical cases need to be seen first. My issue is that the staff NEVER communicated to me (until I was begging at the almost eighth hour for a more accurate time estimate) that the previous veterinary shift had left a backlog of emergency cases that the new shift was now struggling to address, and that, even after almost eight hours of waiting, I could easily be found waiting another 2-3 hours. Instead, every time I followed up, I was told I was “next.” My poor cat sat in his carrier for 7+ hours, getting increasingly dehydrated after vomiting, and who knows how long we would’ve continued to wait if I hadn’t decided to leave. Another emergency vet facility saw me instantly, for very similar pricing. I know CARE can’t help their caseload, but your CSRs were laughing and gossiping in front of clients checking out after euthanizing their pets. They really couldn’t take time to give those of us they’d been staring at for ALMOST EIGHT HOURS any sort of context or time update? The sunk cost fallacy was so real, and I regret not having left sooner. On a side note, the CSR staff was incredibly disorganized and confused. Shout out to the gentleman who called the secondary facility for their wait times when I broke down crying after he told me I might be waiting 10-11 total hours, but the other CSRs seemed to never successfully figure out who should be running pets, which clients had been checked out, etc.

Experiencia negativa: I brought my 4 week old kitten in when she became lethargic. They took her back immediately and someone came out to tell me that it would be ideal to do blood work but that it would be over $300. I said that was fine and heard nothing for a couple hours. The vet brought me back to say they gave her fluids and nausea medication (she never vomited) and said that it was likely a parasite and sent us home with dewormer. She never had labs drawn. She died the next night. I called to just ask what could have went wrong and they put a vet tech on the phone that said “do you have any questions” but then could not answer them as she said the veterinarian had “not put his notes in yet”. She then asked me if I wanted the email address to speak to management when all I wanted was for someone to walk me through what could have possibly happened and an answer to why her labs werent drawn. The price was less than I had expected but now reflecting back on it, $280 for fluids and dewormer that did not help at all was a little crazy.

The doctors and techs follow up with calls and emails. And everyone I've dealt with from my dogs liver cancer surgery to her latest emergency stay for diabetes have been so kind, caring and helpful. I love this place.

Experiencia fantástica: The entire team is wonderful. However. Dr. Lang gets extra credit with this case. I am lucky enough to be friends with her. She knew if I didn’t get my cat from the vet I took him to initially, he would die. She calmly told me I wanted to avoid traffic and the 6 pm power hour. We were dealing with a bladder blockage. I told her I couldn’t pick him up until 5. She said they can’t do that. It’s like me picking my child up from school. So I listened to her and got him there immediately. After everything was said and done, and he arrived at CARE, I realized it was her way of keeping me calm not to freak, he needed to be at CARE asap. She was right. The first vet did his surgery completely wrong. Care was afraid of organ damage, but I’m pleased to say Care’s love and attention, redoing his surgery & lots of prayer, saved my boy. He’s doing well and I am so thankful to everyone. This is the second cat they have saved for me. The first one was a mystery. I was staying with a friend and I walked into my room to find my cat covered in drool, seizing and smelled like death. I had no idea what it could be and neither did they, at first. After a hour or so of waiting while they ran tests and brainstormed everything, they asked me if there was any plants in the home. I called my friend and sure enough there was a peace lily that had been chewed. They’re extremely toxic to cats. He came home that night and thrived! I’m so thankful to the entire team! Experiencia negativa: The worst part of the experience of losing my dog was the card I got in the mail from them a few days later saying they made a donation to themselves in honor of my dog for people who need financial assistance... When discussing the (terribly expensive) options for my dog with the doctor that ultimately had to put him down, she looked me dead in the eyes and said "well, money doesn't grow on trees." So you could see why the donation felt like a complete scam for me. They forced me to pay in full before I was allowed to even go back and see my dying dog, all while never mentioning payment options other than cash, credit or care credit. I will say the two women working the front desk were so nice. One gave me the best hug after the overall terrible night. No one takes the time to read reviews before they take their pet to an emergency vet, but hoping this review helps them re-think some of their practices and the bed-side manner of the doctors.

Experiencia negativa: I will start by saying the facility itself is nice and it seems like a good place to bring your animal, HOWEVER, my experience here was so piss poor I would never come back. My dog was suffering from a pancreatitis attack. We came in on Sunday after he went all weekend without eating and Sunday started throwing up again. My regular vet did treatment the week prior and he was hospitalized 2 days a week prior for this. I came in very worried about his vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy returning. I was sent here from the urgent vet mind you. My dog even vomited in the waiting room twice. I was brought to a room, and here is where the issues started. Kaylee the vet tech clearly has an attitude problem from the start, I can see her rolling her eyes as I’m crying trying to explain what’s going on. She acted like I was wasting her time, stone cold, no empathy. She takes my dog to the back after discussing lab work, X-rays, ect. I sit in the room for almost 3 hours alone with no update, nothing. I go to the front to ask what is going on, they call her, Kaylee clearly is giving the front desk girl attitude, says my dog is “stable” ok what does that mean? I request for her to come talk to me about what that means. I go back to the room, Kaylee walks in, “you called?” Yes ma’am I want an update, blood work, X-rays, you know the things you talked about?? She then tells me nothing has been done, no blood work, no X-rays, no fluids as the vet needed to examine him first, so I’m pissed at the point. She continues with her bitchy attitude again like I’m wasting her time. My poor dog sat in a cage for 3 hours alone with no treatment? He’s very sick! I was about to leave after calling a different emergency vet, the manager then gets involved, explains this is not their policy, these tests should have been done, we will do them now blah blah. I go back and forth about leaving, which I really just should have. But I stayed because I was so worried. Needless to say, the actual vet seemed rushed as well when she finally came in, almost trying to convince me not to hospitalize, saying oh it will be 5K if you do. She would not even do the exam in front of me when I requested that, says it is a liability to do so? At this point I did not trust a single sole here to care for my dog. They gave some zofran and subq fluids. I slept next to my dog all night hoping he would make it through the night. I took him to my regular vet mon morning, he stayed admitted for 2 days and is finally on the mend after receiving proper care. Coming here was the biggest waste, it cost me $1000 for nothing. I want my money back.

Experiencia fantástica: It is impossible to convey the anguish felt over devastating news regarding a much loved family member that happens to be canine. It is also hard to write words that convey the gratitude we have for Dr Jonathan Daniel and the staff at CARE. We were impressed by the thoroughness of Dr Daniel’s neurological evaluation. His impression of why Petey experienced his increasingly severe decline was spot on and confirmed by MRI findings. From the front desk to the wonderful vet assistants we couldn’t have asked for more. We left with medication and information to help us care for Petey and prepare for the end. I am so thankful that we were able to be seen in a timely manner at CARE rather than waiting for an appointment at a specialty clinic closer to home- a three hour drive was validated by the excellent veterinary care we received.

He was knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate throughout the entire process. I truly felt like Lottie was in the best hands possible. A huge shoutout also goes to Marina, the discharge technician. She was beyond kind and helpful — not only during Lottie’s surgery and recovery, but also during an emergency visit with my other dog, Ollie. Her warmth, patience, and genuine care made a stressful situation so much easier to manage. She was incredible! Both of my dogs received top-notch care at CARE, and the team made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Experiencia fantástica: I really appreciated how thorough and caring everyone was with my senior cat, who was being evaluated for a potential heart murmur. I did not receive overall good news, but it was delivered in a very thoughtful manner and the next steps and treatment plan were all explained very clearly (and also provided in writing). I also really appreciate that the provider who saw my cat was able and willing to coordinate directly with my primary vet to discuss and come up with a detailed care plan and follow up steps. It’s extremely difficult sometimes to find vet care for cats that doesn’t feel like an afterthought, and I felt like my cat was/will be in really good hands here and received comprehensive care.

I have the deepest respect for any vet that is willing to admit when they don't know something, or that what brings you to them is outside their scope of knowledge. She called a repro vet and consulted with them to make sure she was providing the best care possible before proceeding with an emergency c-section. The cost was of course high being that it was for emergency surgery, but much more reasonable than expected.

Experiencia fantástica: We have a 14 year old ShihTzu that was losing her vision and trouble finding the door. Her regular vet did nothing to correct the loss. We learned about CARE and Dr BROADWATER from a friend. Within 30 days, Dr BROADWATER had improvement in her tear duct production and her vision. When you have an appointment with CARE, they show that they genuinely care about your pet. Dr BROADWATER examines Molly and tests her vision at each visit. After he completes the examination, he comes out into the lobby, sits down with us and discusses her progress. He also asks whether we are continuing the medications as directed, what schedule we use, and if we are low on her meds and need him to call a pharmacy. I HIGHLY AND GRATEFULLY RECOMMEND CARE TO ANYONE WITH A PET HAVING MEDICAL PROBLEMS. Donna Buckner

We had a nightmare situation when our dog was attacked while we were out of town and the team at CARE was perfect. Stefanie was so thorough explaining our discharge paperwork and walked us through each step for how to take care of Smoky when we got home. I took my beautiful Pekingese in he was having problems walking they kept for an MRI they operated on his disc in his neck.The surgeon called me he was said he did good.Me and my wife we were so happy.But at 2:58 in the morning I get a call from ICU and he has temperature of 108 and was having problems breathing so they were sedating him more 15 minutes later they’re doing cpr and he was gone.The surgeon did his job and people up front was good but ICU wasn’t.I’m not a doctor or a veterinarian but a temperature goes from normal too 108 in a hour. I don’t understand all I know is over 9 thousand dollars I get to paw prints and my baby in box ashes. I would do a lot research before I take my pet here. The care in ICU isn’t good mostly the veterinarian that on staff that night wasn’t.I’m not naming her but she knows who she is. We and the world lost a wonderful dog.RIP Khan Man.
Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, I had to take my dog here to put her down. The front desk staff was nice. They put us in a room and told us when we were ready to ring the bell. It wasn’t even a min before another tech came in asking were we ready I said no give us more time. She stood there just looking at us. I said the other lady said when we’re ready to ring the bell. She just stood there. It pissed me off because we were saying goodbye to our dog that we had for 17 years and she made it feel like we had to rush it. She finally left after standing there for about 2 mins. I called the office manger the next day which was Tuesday and here it is today Saturday and still no one has called me back. Won’t be going back here!!

Experiencia fantástica: Our local vet found a heart murmur during our recent annual exam and referred us to CARE. The earliest availability was 3 months away which was the only downside, but everything else was great. The team was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and got us in and out without much waiting. They explained the results to us very clearly and gave us the opportunity to ask questions without making us feel rushed. I would recommend this place.

He is my whole world and they treated both him and us with respect and kindness. I highly recommend choosing this team to care for your fur babies. Experiencia negativa: PLEASE PLEASE request your pets medical records and read them all the way. My 5 month old puppy went in to have surgery Friday might because he had eaten something and it was in his small intestine. Anyways skip to picking him up the next day. I was told everything went good and how he was a sweet boy. They gave me the medicine and told me what to look for and all. I requested his medical records from them and only to find out they accidentally punctured 5mm his spleen with the stab incision, NOT once was I told at the discharge about this. They could have took better care of him he had poop matted under his tail and on his butt as well. The bloodwork where 4 of the items were in red which means its higher then normal. Again that wasn't disclosed with me.

Experiencia fantástica: Had to take my cat Scooter here on Thursday, 8/28/25. Got there around 11PM after he was stabilized at Urgent Vet in Belmont. The whole staff here is absolutely wonderful and I wish I could give 100 stars. They were very upfront about what was going on with him and how they would treat him along with the cost. They ended up doing a blood transfusion and meds. They saved his life and we are so grateful. Pictures are from Thursday when we transported him from Urgent Vet with his heparin lock and the other is last night, 8/30/25, back at home. The difference is nothing short of miraculous.
