Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming to this place pretty much ever since they have opened up the doors, I trust everyone here, sure they get new staff but they are just as sweet and kind like the others....I had to take my Enola in the black and white cat in these pictures a few days ago she was so bad I was scared in Losing her but Doc and the assistant helped, trying to figure things out, she has liver issues and on meds now and improving, thanks Doc Raj and his young assistant, not saying her name just to respect her.

It's a little expensive when you do the whole process of cremation but they will provide the euthanasia and release the corpse to you to bury or take to an independent taxidermy or crematory.

Experiencia negativa: Take your pet somewhere else!!!!! Very expensive with all the up charges!!!! Every time I go it’s over 300 for a basic issue. Dr Raj had a very hard time understanding English to begin with. I brought my dog in for an ear infection his right ear was infected. The doctor came in, looked in both ears, combed his fur, and that was it the end, no physical examination he didn’t look at his eyes didn’t look at his mouth his feet. Nothing then his assistant came back in with a bill for $445.!!!!!! I’ll never go back they are just there for the making money. Take your hard earned money somewhere else where your appreciated not up charged. They are like car salesmen. Terrible place to take your animals

They made sure this scared dog mommy knew they would take good care of her. Wish I could give them more stars!! Thank you Dr Raj and your team!!! FYI she needed a few minutes without her cone and so the pic is during that time for a few minutes. This is the hardest part!

Experiencia fantástica: The absolute best vet! Our dog Diablo got sick and we spent the last week there. And Jeanie (I hope I’m spelling that right) was absolutely phenomenal. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help assist us with Diablo. We unfortunately had to put Diablo down and she was there every step of the way even when she wasn’t supposed to work. My family and I cannot thank everyone enough for how much they helped Diablo.

Experiencia negativa: I Spent 400 because my dog has an ear infection. I went to the wrong vet on accident and called to let them know I was on the way. The lady at the front desk was unfriendly to my wife on the phone and then charged me for late fee for being over 15 minutes late (4:30 appointment, arrived at 4:44) which was 30 something dollars. The people treating my dog both couldn’t get his name right and kept referring to him as a girl despite him being a clearly not fixed male dog. Overall i feel like i got big time screwed and I wouldn’t trust these people to treat my animal for anything serious under any circumstance. I will not ever come back and it’s fine that they are likely going to “ban me” for this negative review like they have other customers

Experiencia negativa: Back on Friday. August 8th we took our dying 17 year old kitty to this Alexis Road Veterinary Clinic, to do everything we could to comfortably try and prolong his life. In the process of introducing the needle to inject rehydrating intervenous saline solution, ineptly, directly and haphazardly into Frodoh Bear's back muscles, instead of just under his skin, he experienced a minute and a half of writhing, howling, contorted agon until we stopped it! This needle was reinserted after falling out. The presiding vet was in the next room and did not intervene. We were summarily dismissed with a $435.00 bill and no apology and no effective recourse to address this issue. A certified detailed publically notorized, certified letter was accepted but ignored. Toledo Mediation Services and the BBB could not address this issue and I'm still waiting for The Ohio Veterinary Licensing Board, a very slow. grinding bureaucracy to act. Whether you chose this facility to bring your beloved pets to this Alexis Animal Hospital. is up to the discernment of the caring public. Frodoh Bear was comfortably euthanized a week later, on Friday. August 15th, at 2:26;pm here at home with us, through the loving services of The Lap of Love in Toledo.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely incompetent and high priced. I brought in hard copies of vaccine records on first visit and staff never scanned them in. I was left a message to confirm nail trim and was told i would need to provide records prior to trim. i called to let them know I already provided the hard copies of records on first visit Staff member asked me to hold, while she checked, after a 30 minute wait another staff member picked up asking if she could help me. I explained why i was holding and then was rudely told all records are electronic. i asked why the hard copies were not scanned in and was told it wasn't their fault. All other providers i've taken my dog to accepted printed records. Nail trim visit would have been third visit. first visit for wound behind ear.380.00 included a pricey blood test with next day results( I question a 1 day turn around time being a very though test) The second visit for expression( 62.00 for 3 min procedure) no mention of needing records, on second visit. I cancelled third visit for nail trim and will not consider this provider again. Dealing with Administration and pricing that is not competitive was very disappointing. Research other area options first.

They had a promotion going on that stated the initial physical visit would be free, unless there were health concerns for the pet. After the physical I was told I should get her some toothpaste for her teeth, along with her rabies shot. This I agreed to. I was given a quote for the fees AFTER the physical which stated that the visit was free as discussed, the toothpaste was a fee the shot was a fee and her nail trim. I pay and leave not thinking anything and happy with the service, the vet herself was great. I get home and realize I was charged for the physical as well. I call and I was told that because of her teeth being a concern my physical was no longer free. ( Then why was I given a quote after the physical that said FREE ) I had to wait over a week to speak with a manager who finally after me sending her the copy of my quote refunded my money. WARNING to clients, pay attention to what you are being charged for specifically before you leave. they definitely tried to get over.

We didn’t have any sort of wait. And they are very affordable! It’s a drive for us and I don’t mind a bit when the care is so wonderful and the price is so low. The prices are actually better than supposedly discounted places, so before you go to one of those to save money, check with these guys because they are better. The office is so clean, too. I felt so good about taking our cat here. I expected our cat to act out, but he was actually happy and purring the whole time. Great place!

Experiencia positiva: I seen a ad on Google referring to a free first visit so I decided to schedule an appointment for My dog. The staff and everyone where very kind but once going into the back they ask you has there been any issues in which I told them about my dog has been scratching and loosing furr unaware that once I said anything about a issue the free visit turned into a paid examination. Anyhow that was not the issue the issue is 170$ later they said there was nothing wrong With him and gave me allergy medication. I called Back two weeks later for the same problem and they told me I needed to pay for another re examination for the same problem . This is the problem !!! I feel there should have been a discounted rate for the same problem . So the update is that I went to another facility and in fact he had fleas in which the problem has been resolved

Experiencia fantástica: Thorough, professional, and gentle. Keno is a 14 year old pointer mix. They performed a thorough first exam and even managed to get him to allow a nail trimming. We’ll see how they do with a dog who is hyperactive in 2 months, but for the moment, I like them.

Also read the prescription they give you because I was told once a day and it read twice. Almost like they don't want your pet to get better. Zero stars

Experiencia negativa: They insisted we do xray and blood work for our cat we know was dying. Sent us home to “force feed him” after looking at his xray showing his bad kidneys. Knowing he wont make it. The poor cat spent his last days suffering and being forced to eat when they could have told us the truth in the first place. They gave us false hope and took 700$ at the expense of the cats suffering. This animal hospital does not care about your pets. Money grab.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing people!!! Dr. Raj and the Vet Tech (sorry I can't remember your name) were so caring and lots of patience. This is the first Vet in 20 years that showed compassion for my pet, my husband and me. We so loved our Yetti (my oversized Chihuahua)!!! He was my protector, snuggle buddy, and the love of my life, besides my hubby., of course. Yetti has always had gland issues and we thought it was really bad, getting worse, insanely bad. The Dr. had such a sad face, as he told us the bad news. Yetti had cancer!!! My husband and I had already made a pact that if any of our pets were terminally ill we would not wait and make them suffer; just because we didn't want to let them go. So we made the decision to put him to sleep. It hurts the soul something fierce, but best for him, he's no longer crying. Dr. Raj was so compassionate, it felt like it was his own dog. Wow! My Babe had to leave the room, completely understandable, its a hard thing to watch. The Vet Tech went out to my guy and gave him a paper on where we could go visit Yetti, since we didn't have him cremated, couldn't afford it, but that's ok, and couldn't take him with us to bury him and that's ok too. So when I came out of the room, completely wiped...that paper was a nice surprise. Thank you Alexis Road Animal Hospital for softening the sadness.

They made everything super easy and were absolutely wonderful to deal with. I would recommend this place to everyone! Another important note is that we shopped around to multiple vets in the area and ARAH had the best prices too! That’s what I call a win/win! Great people, great service, great prices!

My kitten survived and the prices are very reasonable for the care he received. I will now transfer the care of all of my three cats over to doctor Raj and his team.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Raj and staff were so incredibly compassionate when I brought in my pup about 2 weeks ago. My 10 year old heinz 57 girl was showing some signs of distress and when I brought her in, Dr. Raj was very upfront about how he didn't like what he was seeing. We did some xrays, that they allowed me to be apart of as I have experience in the veterinary field, and they were as we both suspected-not good. She had CHF, an enlarged heart, enlarged liver with masses on it, among other issues. She hadn't eaten in about 24 hours and she would go through bouts of that over the years, but would usually bounce back quickly. When she was nearing the 36 hour mark and her breathing changed, I took her in. I'm grateful I did. Dr. Raj and I discussed potential treatment options but ultimately we agreed that with her health already not being the best (she was chonky), putting her through months of medications (adding in a multistate move and a ton of added stress) that may not even ultimately change the outcome, the kindest thing was to put her to rest. It was an incredibly hard decision, but his team was incredibly kind. Additionally, the service that they use for cremation is wonderful and the urn I received for my girl was absolutely gorgeous. I miss my girl tremendously, which is why I couldn't write this review until now, but I'm so incredibly grateful for this team and how they treated myself and my girl.

Experiencia negativa: My friend Jody Foreman referred me to Alexis Road Animal Hospital. I'm glad I went, I had been to three other vets for the same issue with my dog and every time he hides his symptoms, yes he did it again at Alexis Road and they were nice enough not to charge me for the visit, that was amazing I have six animals they will be getting all my business. However in the long run they gave him medicine which totally changed his life and now he's half dead walking into walls can't think straight they gave him doggy dementia

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this place no stars, I would. I brought my dog here for mange 2 days ago, I normally bring my cats here and have no problem. When they told me the treatment was going to be $315 I expected that. However I found my pharmacy would fill the main medication we needed for a whopping $13. Not only do they charge $15 to write a prescription, they tell me this medication which is commercially available, is a compound only they make. They refused to write me a prescription they refused to find another way to treat my dog so I could get the $13 medication. I finally get it together to buy the $75 medication which they knew about at 9:30 in the morning, I go there to get it, and they tell me they just sold the last dose to another patient. Which they could have told me over the phone when I called and told them I was on my way. This place does not care about animals, it is all about the money. Period Point blank. My dog was suffering and they would not even try to help me find another resolution that did not involve $315.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Raj is amazing. I have taken my puppy and cats to him and he is so attentive. He breaks down everything, possible causes and options for diagnostics. Absolutely impressed every time I go there. One of my cats was peeing or vomiting blood but I wasn’t sure which one or what was going on which is overwhelming when there is 3 of them...Well he found very quickly which one it was and they did an x-ray and found a bladder stone. Onto next steps but so grateful to have answers and a team that cares so much.

Alexis Road Animal Hospital over the last few years has provided great service in a less commercialized and quieter setting for my pet. Their staff are professional, caring and knowledgeable.
