Experiencia fantástica: Love this Vet. They have amazing care and the best prices in the Fayetteville area. How often do you go anywhere and get charged less than you were quoted? We took our dog to get fixed and he ended up having to stay the night for observation. Not only did they not charge us extra, they also clipped his nails at no charge. I can't speak highly enough about how well they take care of their customers and their animals.

One month later, she is already bearing weight and trying to train for a triathlon—although we keep reminding her it is not time yet. No matter when we visit, we always receive excellent care, and all of the doctors and staff take the time to talk with us and clearly explain everything that is going on.

Experiencia fantástica: Update: Just got back home from AHOF. We have a new mother not producing milk and we are having to hand feed. Dr. Garett got us in and provided great advice to get these guys past the bottle feeding stage. We took our 2.5 month old Great Dane to have his ears cropped and our 15 month old female Great Dane for her gastropexy. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Thank you for being a REAL VET!!!! We need more like you.

Experiencia fantástica: The Doctors and entire staff at the Animal Hospital of Fayetteville are the greatest I have ever had the pleasure to meet and trust with my "Fur Babies". That includes the Veterinarians I have worked for. We live in Raeford and we gladly make the drive to the AHOF to ensure they get the best care possible that doesn't rob us blind. My little "Matilda Rose" needed an extensive surgical procedure and after care that I was sure was going to be over the moon expensive, but to my great surprise AHOF actually cares about their 2 legged owners as much as their 4 legged patients! We can't say enough good about these wonderful Doctors and are very Greatful to them for saving our little girls life. ❤️❤️

Experiencia fantástica: They did a wonderful job on my pups ears but having to go back every week is too much since we live 3 hours away. I understand going back for a few weeks but she has been back 3 weeks and they said she had to return 6 more weeks.

Experiencia fantástica: THE ONLY PLACE you need to take your dogs for ear cropping and tail docking. Unlike highland which was so highly recommended this vet was AFFORDABLE and I was astonished. Staff is friendly and helpful. The doctor does an OUTSTANDING job on both procedures. the best part they do not breed discriminate. They do not judge. They are open minded and level headed. They don’t make you feel like you’re less than for wanting this done. I greatly appreciated that. They called after procedure and during in stay and I loved that extra step. From now on this is where I take all of my babies for their cosmetics!

Experiencia negativa: The front desk is terrible. They literally turned their back on customers who enter, choose not to acknowledge them, do not give updates if you have been waiting awhile, and just all around severely lack customer service skills.

Expect to wait and it’s hard to get a hold of him on the phone, but you can’t make appointments online. Anytime my dog had an emergency though. They’ve been pretty good about getting them in as quickly as possible.

My fur baby is extremely anxious at the vet and Dr Huff was so patient with her. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was asking too many questions. He took his time and took excellent care of my baby. The past two times we saw Dr Jennifer Godman and she’s amazing. I think she’s our favorite, even though they’re all awesome They stay very busy and yes, sometimes you’ll have to wait a little but that just means they take the time to thoroughly exam our fur babies, rather than rushing you out. Experiencia negativa: I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received during my recent visit. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM, yet my cats weren’t even brought into the exam room until after 4:00 PM. After that, we waited even longer—nearly another 30 minutes—before the vet finally came in. And if that wasn’t enough, we had to sit through yet another long wait just to check out. While the veterinarian was very kind, apologized for the delay, and waived the cost of the appointment (I only paid for the medicine and vaccines), the overall experience was unacceptable. I repeatedly asked how much longer it was going to take, and no one ever gave me an answer. That complete lack of communication and disregard for my time makes it clear that, despite the vet’s professionalism, I can’t trust this clinic with my pets anymore.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is awesome from the front desk to the veterinarian. They handle our fur babies with such care ♡ They treat them as family and are attentive to our pets needs. They are a busy facility so you may have a little bit of a wait from time to time but just be patient, it's worth it. This facility is not open on the weekend but they are open until 5:30 p.m. so we are always able to get there after work.

Now Ive been calling all day to get info on appt and there has still been no answer or returned phone call from my voicemail. As someone who runs a business myself , I am Not sure how you can run a business and never answer the phone .

Experiencia negativa: We had our cat front declawed. They did such a poor job. His poor paws look mangled. Even at 3 weeks, he still had stitches and crusties on his paws. He tried cleaning them himself and then it just makes his poor pads red. I so regret having them do this to him. It’s like they took a hack saw to him instead of performing a well down surgery.

Billy had been living with kidney disease for seven years, thanks to a strict prescription diet that extended his life beyond the expected survival rate for his age. However, after moving to North Carolina a few months ago, Billy developed an upper respiratory infection, leading us to another vet clinic in Cypress Lake. While the staff there provided good care, they recommended a blood test for further diagnosis, which we simply couldn’t afford at that time. Despite treatment for asthma, Billy began to decline rapidly. When I sought a second opinion at Fayetteville Animal Hospital, Dr. Garrett immediately recognized the severity of Billy's condition without me needing to provide any backstory. His keen observation—detecting signs of kidney failure solely by examining Billy—was astonishing. The way he communicated the diagnosis was both straightforward and compassionate, allowing us to make an informed decision about Billy’s quality of life. When it came time to say goodbye, the compassion shown by Dr. Garrett and his team truly shone. I stumbled upon them in 2018 when my male Pit blew out his ACL. They came highly recommended especially for orthopedic specialty. They are phenomenal and have reasonable prices too.

Experiencia fantástica: We were very impressed with Dr. Garrett and his staff. It's a very busy practice but I didn't mind waiting because of the thorough care my 13 puppies received. He didn't rush us or short cut anything. We were referred to Dr Garrett for ear cropping, so we made the lengthy drive to see him from VA and I'm so glad we did, he was very professional and knowledgeable found some things my vet missed. We will need to return with some of them in 10 days but I'm glad he didn't just care about the money and do the surgeries anyway, he advised us to wait a little on some of the pups just to be safe.

Experiencia fantástica: I always have great service. Sometimes there's a wait, and typically that's my fault as I'm usually late even though I try to be early. I've seen 3 doctors here and they've all be great. Dr. Rodger's was very thorough with my litter. Dr. Garrett is extra sweet to my kids. And the last one I saw was a woman, and I unfortunately don't recall her name. Her and her tech were very sweet and gave my terrified puppy a lot of time and patience to have a great experience. I can reach the front desk more often than not. I've only had issues maybe twice, but they're very busy. I prefer not to use an app, but with phone storage going up, I may attempt to use the app next time to schedule. Their prices are what I'm use to pre-covid and what I experienced 10 years ago when on the east coast. I really appreciate that, and I know their affordability is why they're so busy. I have tried out 5 different vet offices in the area since moving here a year ago, and this one is my favorite, and one I always recommend. I have 5 dogs, a cat, and had 6 puppies, so hence why I've had lots of opportunities to test out vet offices. Thank you

Experiencia negativa: Didn't let us see the doctor we booked with, doctor aggressively handled my shy dog, and the wait time was egregious, including a 45 minute wait after we had been seen just to pay them so we could leave. Not to mention the tiny lobby was stuffed full of aggressive dogs with incompetent owners who couldn't even keep them on leash. Will not be returning.

We have experienced emergencies, surgeries, routine care, end of life decisions.... no matter what it was this practice stood with us and helped up navigate having full information and choices. However, the pet technician here was super kind and understanding, making the whole process comfortable and stress-free. They really normalized the need for the haircut, which was a huge relief. The receptionists were incredibly helpful as well. They ensured that I only received the necessary services and didn’t incur any extra costs, which I really appreciated. The clinic was very affordable, and I was only charged for my kitty’s travel medication. Additionally, I needed a copy of my pet’s records, and they provided it easily and without any hassle. Experiencia negativa: So, yesterday I had to pick up some stuff from here for someone else, there were 3 small kittens for adoption at the time. I came back today to get one of the kittens but the one I wanted was gone and the other 2 were already adopted. so there was a cute little black and white kitten there, so I video chatted my daughter and she agreed we should adopt her so I did. (IT WAS ACTUALLY MY BIRTHDAY GIFT), Anyways, I get a call and was told I need to bring the kitten back because supposedly the kittens owner didn't agree to the cat being adopted and she assumed my dog wasnt vetted because we use a different vet, and this after I spent money to get the things the kitten needed. They told me they would not reimburse me. They had to of had me mixed up with someone else because she stated I've had many fosters which is untrue I've never fostered an animal.i have one dog. And she assumed my dog wasn't vetted because we dont go there for our vet. The ladies name I believe was MO, she was really rude and basically told she's not the one to have an attitude with. Very unprofessional being ignorant in front of thier other clients. I even over heard the girls at The front desk say they pick and chose who can adopt the kittens.) She really kind of threatened me with the. " I'm not the one you want to talk to like that". If you want to adopt a kitten from them make sure you get the proper person doing the adoption so this doesn't happen to you!!! Edit!! Since they will not let me respond, i will say i never said get the cat before I snapped. I kept telling her Ma'am get the cat, ma'am get the cat out of the carrier. Then she replied with I'm not the one to be talked to Like that. So further more make that clear on your notes on the cages. I might be a client but I'm in there monthly for one of your clients and the night before I told you guys I'd be back for a kitten. The rules should have been addressed at that time. Experiencia negativa: It's next to impossible to get anyone on the phone, let alone make an appointment. Attempted to fill a Trifexus order through Chewy, which required the vet to authorize. It was denied because the vet insists on seeing the pets first. Kind of difficult to make the appointment, since no one answers the phone! Husband was on hold for nearly an hour this week before hanging up. I've made several attempts since and have not been able to speak with anyone. Dont even get me started on the wait times if you eventually make it in the door. Absolutely ridiculous.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom and I brought in my two dogs 12 and 15 who we thought were sick from heartworm to be euthanized. We didn't want them to suffer. Instead of coming in the room and just getting on with it Dr. Garrett came in and checked them out and told us about medication that was easy to give for a very short time and new better preventative than we had used or knew about. Both being very affordable. Not like what we knew about in the past where risky surgery and painful shots for a long period of time that "might" work was the only option. He actually cared about them and let us know they weren't as bad off as we thought. That in a year doing these would cure them.That we would be able to spend more years with them. The day started off terrible and our tears of sadness were made of joy. Thank you Dr. Garrett. Your love for the animals shows and that your practice is more than just a business that we had experienced from other vets in the past.

Experiencia fantástica: Animal Hospital of Fayetteville has been amazing to our pets. The staff is always helpful and Dr. Garrett is wonderful with both our dogs. Our Whippet isn’t people friendly and usually doesn’t go to people she doesn’t know. She goes to Dr. Garrett and his staff with no problem. We couldn’t be happier with this vet. Plus the petdesk app has been so helpful when it comes to re-ordering meds and making appts.

We brought home a very sick puppy and within a few days of bringing him home have already been to the office twice. Taylor was so kind, caring, genuine, and even called us the next day to check in on the pup. We so appreciate their care and patience with us as we navigate how to care for our new buddy! 10/10 recommend!

We drive an hour each way because of the excellent services provided by this clinic. Dr. Garrett is the most knowledgeable and kind vet we have ever met and that's saying something from a retired military family! We highly recommend Animal Hospital of Fayetteville!

Experiencia fantástica: They are clean and organized. The staff has a wonderful attitude towards the pets and owners. I have been through a lot of vets with all my fur babies and this is the best one by far. I recommend this vet to everyone who has pets big and small.

Experiencia negativa: I like the place, nurse in the back are very helpful and have beautiful personalities. However, the front dest have bad attitudes, I had my wife go and aren't much helpful or really discuss with her of whats going on.. I had 2 ear surgeries for both doberman's.. but I think the staff in front need to do better.

Experiencia fantástica: I take all my animals here. (Plus foster dogs!) The doctors are truly caring and ensure that I understand everything that's been done/going to be done. (I ask a lot of questions). I was having a really difficult time with one of my dog's anxiety and behavior; Dr. Huff helped to figure it out and Chewie had shown drastic behavior changes while still being the big goofball that he is. I was really having a difficult time and Dr. Huff took the time to actually listen to me and truly understand what my pup needed. So between his assistance and the advice of a trainer, Chewie is doing 1000% better. There have been so many other times that my dogs have received excellent care. I've also has two dogs pass away since I have been coming here (old age/cancer) and the compassion shown for me and my pups was exactly as I'd hoped. Sometimes the staff is overwhelmed, but there is always a lot going on. The wait time can be long, just plan for it. AHOF is a popular veterinary office and they take emergency walk ins so it's to be expected. Just be patient, it's 100% worth it for the care that is provided here.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a vet that still does ear cropping. Between Jacksonville, NC and Statesville, NC I was able to find 3-4, but mostly everyone else has stopped offering this procedure. One has a weird timeline cutoff that was significantly lower than everyone else's, another had a price range at over $600 per pup, the third would only provide a quote after a vet visit consultation and each pup would be different as they said "they are each quoted differently", and all of them had never even heard of the Beauceron breed before (I was shocked). Then when I called this vet office they had an instant price available ($375-$400 but this may change based on when you read this), gave me full disclosure that they prefer to hold them overnight for observation, and explained that they DO NOT CHARGE for the overnight stay as it is provided as a courtesy to ensure the healthiest start to their recovery. I had never heard of this being a requirement before and I think it's fantastic they are being as thorough as possible and offering such luxury service to each animal that receives a surgical procedure. I was impressed! They also tried their best to fit me in as soon as possible so I wouldn't miss the age window, even though they were booked out. I was very thankful for that! The website does not show any photos of cropped ears (nor provide further information), I could not find any photos online attached to reviews, and when I browsed further I found a lot of negative Yelp reviews of people mostly complaining about being impatient. People seem to value their time more than the wellbeing of their animal and this vet office had the most affordable prices to begin with so I was a little disappointed at their priorities. I am leaving this review for others who are looking for an ear crop procedure as I felt a little lost when searching for the right place. The reviews made me nervous until I actually read them, and I enjoyed each reply as the staff members took time out of their day to clarify and address each issue that contributed to the negative review. It put my mind at ease and gave me a higher respect for the staff for actually responding with paragraphs rather than the generic "sorry you feel that way" response that most businesses provide. I called back a second time after making my initial appointment and confirmed that the quoted price was all inclusive and there were no other hidden fees or medication/overnight fees. I also explained my hesitation about driving several hours for this and not seeing any photos online anywhere and they explained that Dr. Garrett is very old school and has his portfolio of photos available in person in a book. She explained how many people cross states to come get theirs done by him because he has been doing this for over 35 years and if you provide reference photos he will recreate the exact look you're wanting. They also offered for me to go ahead and get the pups' third round of shots while there and that because I am so far away, there is no problem with me finding a closer vet for re-taping (although it sounds like it's worth the drive to come back here!) I plan to update my review with the rest of my experience and attach photos. I feel as though all of my worries and hesitations have been addressed and I am excited and confident the procedure will go perfectly.

I did not choose this place because of their reasonable prices — I just asked my friends for recommendations — but I am pleased with the affordability of care.

Experiencia fantástica: I drove an hour, from Clayton, just to come to this facility for my 2 lion head rabbits to get fixed. The facility is super super busy, but everyone was nice and helpful. If I lived closer I am sure I would use them for our routine care. Like some comments the facility looks older and may look unkept, but if you saw as many people and animals as they do nothing is gonna look perfect (not saying I think it was dirty). While there I did see some people get antsy about the wait, but for the 30min I was there I swear more than 30 people, and animals, came in. The staff handled the busy work flow like it was nothing. AHOF deserve a round of applause for handling the busy work they do! Karl and Marshall are doing good at home resting!

Experiencia fantástica: I have used Animal Hospital of Fayetteville for 40 years and many pets. I use Dr. Kenny Garrett but I feel he has acquired other good veterinarians in his office. They have always taken great care of my pets dogs/cats. They are one of very few in Fayetteville that has NOT sold out to large corporations, which amounts to higher prices shorter visits with the Dr. & much less personal care. This office really cares about your fur babies.

Experiencia fantástica: The vets here go above and beyond. I was told by a vet in Hope Mills my dog was dying. They would no longer treat him. Dr Garrett gave a different opinion and different meds. Tank has been like a different dog. He is walking more,eating normal and moving normal. The staff is great and Dr Garrett is above amazing
