You can see it in the way he talks to them, the way he listens, and the way he takes his time to make sure everything is understood and nothing feels rushed. Every visit with him feels like you’re handing your pet over to someone who’s fully invested. He takes real pride in his work, and it shows in the little things: remembering details, following up, and treating every animal like they matter deeply. That kind of care is hard to find. The whole clinic has that same warm, steady energy, but Dr. Bruce is the reason I trust WCVC so completely. My animals are in good hands with him, and that peace of mind is priceless.

Experiencia negativa: I had been doing business with WCVC for many years through my rescue and trusted them with the care of countless animals. That relationship has now been abruptly terminated, not because of anything I did, but because of an error on THEIR part that they refuse to take accountability for. A dog that had been recently spayed through WCVC was adopted out and unexpectedly passed away. Working alongside their staff, I requested a necropsy and cremation so we could understand what happened and do right by the dog and everyone involved. I was very clear, repeatedly, that I, the rescue, was the one who authorized and requested both the necropsy and the ashes. Despite this, WCVC’s internal communication was an absolute disaster. I explicitly asked multiple times to be TEXTED when the necropsy was completed and the ashes were ready, as I do not have reliable cell service at my residence and email is not an effective way to reach me. Yet they continued to email and call anyway, completely ignoring my requests. What should have been a straightforward, compassionate process instead escalated unnecessarily, made worse when the adopting family became involved, something I was actively trying to prevent while doing the right thing for everyone. Instead of owning their communication failures, Kyle with WCVC chose to cut ties with my rescue entirely, leaving my passion and my work negatively impacted. I am now forced to find and establish a new clinic for spay and neuter services because of their mishandling of this situation. This experience was beyond frustrating, deeply disappointing and completely avoidable. This is my personal experience, but I strongly encourage anyone considering this clinic to read ALL reviews carefully before booking. Transparency, accountability and basic communication should NOT be this hard, especially when precious lives are involved. Richland Area Rescue Judy Elliott

Had my cat neutered at this establishment where we arrived here at 4:30 , 30 minutes before 5 PM which is the first pick up for spay and neuter pets. We left at approximately 6:45 being the last bunch of people there while waiting for my pet. We had asked the vet students coming out dropping pets off to other customers cars where my cat is and what is happening. They then told us that they would check in. They had never checked in with any anyone else within the clinic as to where my pet was and nor did they update me as to what was happening, instead they kept walking away. an hour had come by since I had asked them what was happening, and another woman had come out and asked who I was waiting for so I told her my pet’s name and after this, she said “yes, I think we have him.” this worried me since we had been there for about two hours already and it made my heart sink hearing her say that they thought that they had my pet. after this encounter we went in about 10 minutes later , Waited another 10 minutes inside just to receive my cat, which no one had even spoke to us since we had entered the building.After the 10 minute wait they came out with my cat and as they were handing my pet off to me, they dropped the carrier holders which led to my cat falling over on the side oh his carrier on the floor while inside the carrier and on anesthetic. Upon arriving home we had to promptly take off the surgical tape they left on his leg since it was wrapped too tightly and made my cat lose circulation to his foot.they had also prescribed me medicine that is too high dose for my cat, which was making him sick and not able to keep food down. I am now having to spend a bunch of money at other veterinary clinics to resolve an issue that they had caused. This was my pets first experience with going to a clinic and also my first experience ever going to this clinic. I am very upset on how they treated us and now the after effects that we have to deal with due to their shotty customer service.

Experiencia positiva: My cat, who has stage 4 periodontal disease, had several teeth extracted and a dental cleaning here. The procedure was very affordable, there were no complications, and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout the process. One thing to note is that the wait time was quite long. It took about six months from being placed on the waitlist to actually having the procedure done. When I called for updates, I was often told it would be about one more month, which ended up not being accurate. I understand this is a community vet and that longer wait times are to be expected, but clearer communication about the timeline would have been appreciated. Overall, I was very happy with the care my cat received and would definitely bring her back here for future procedures.

Experiencia negativa: Absolute trash. Rude, cold, snotty staff. EXTREMELY LATE-over an hour, no explanations or apologies. NO PARKING. You sit in your car and they take your pet from you...eventually.

Experiencia negativa: Brought my puppy to get neutered here last week. In the morning during drop off, a woman was coming out to get dogs in different cars, and there was a dog who was just excited to be there and this lady dragged him in, he didn’t look like he was fighting to go in there, but was just excited to check out everywhere, i watched this same lady aggressively handle the dog to get him up on the scale. Once again he was not fighting it, just was interested in his surroundings, idk I think there was a better way to do that. Next about my puppy, he came out without his cone, because they said he would not keep it on. and due to the rush of getting in and out (the pickup line was super long) I had to leave without his cone on his head. Once i got home I figured out how to tighten it??? why couldn’t they do that Next was the person who was bringing him out, I understand that there was a rush and all, but the only thing I got post surgery care information on was his meds, not anything else. Looking at his incision it looks choppy and there is a small hole that honestly looks like a missing stitch, and we are taking him into his actual vet to see if it’s infected or not… i understand that this place is a training facility but it’s also supposed to be observed by a vet…. something is just off with this place. to anyone that is reading this please look at the other reviews, there are a lot more information and reviews that I definitely think are worth looking at before bringing your animals here.

Their online forms were on a clickable link and everything was easy to read and figure out. The email communication was great so I knew exactly what to do when I arrived to drop off and pick up my 2 cats. They responded quickly when I texted my arrival and someone came out right away to collect them. Same when I arrived to pick them up and I was given exact instructions for their after care.

They worked with me to get a affordable price for my dog Essies Surgery. during surgery I called to check on her and got bad news that they found very aggressive cancer. The next option was to put her down. I was devastated. they took the time and was very patient with me. i'm still heartbroken and probably will be forever. They were so kind to me. They helped with cremation services and got some memorabilia for my pup. I never got to say goodbye to my sweet Essie but I thank this place for making her transition as easy as possible <3

Experiencia positiva: I brought our 2 cats- one 10 month old and one 3 month old cat this past Thursday 10/16/2025. After reading all of the negative reviews on this I honestly thought about just eating the cost and going elsewhere. My fiance and my aunt both told me to keep it and follow through with it and that it would be fine. They couldn’t have been more accurate. The amount of animals that go in and out of that door on a daily basis shows how well they do. There is unfortunate circumstances where things don’t always go smoothly but unfortunatly that is everywhere. Lastnight I got a video sent to me from my fiance of my little girls at home living their best life. And can hardly tell they just got spayed. They are not in pain and are full of energy 2 days after with no sign of ripping stitches. Although my luck was on the good side of grace this far I have a lot to appreciate when it comes to this clinic. So thank you. My apologies to everyone who lost any of their fur babies. I couldn’t imagine losing my girls at any point let alone going in for a spay/nueter. For the people that do have success please start leaving reviews on this page so new customers don’t see JUST the negative unfortunate circumstances. One thing I wish that could be changed is if they could maybe update when they are in and out of surgery to ease a little bit of the nerves. But I get they are busy. Just wishful thinking. a picture of my girls that were just new customers!

Experiencia negativa: Brought our 5month old kitten to be neutered and they gave him to much Anastasia and killed him. The did CPR and brought him back but he was out for 5 mins. He was breathing on his own but that’s it. We drove down to be there when they put him to sleep. Once there we talked to the entire staff it felt like and each person and a different story and no one could even tell us how much it was to put Larry down. I got mad and kinda yelled at one staff member, then the owner came in and said Larry was waking up in his own. She then offered to take him home over night and watch him for us. We received no updates and had to call her and text multiple times before we got a response and that didn’t happen until 8am. Then she told us Larry was fine all night she left the room and came back to a dead kitten. The story goes on but do not trust this place they messed up and then tried to cover there tracks

Experiencia negativa: Today is at least the 2nd, if not 3rd, time I have had appointments for my dogs and was not seen on time. Last time I was told someone who showed up late but had an appointment time before me needed to be seen first. This time I went inside with both dogs at 11:15 for 11:20 and 11:40 appointments. I was told there was one person before me and asked for my spot number and offered to wait inside or in the car. Since my dogs have anxiety we chose to wait inside the car. We were not called so at 11:56 I texted to check the status and still have not heard a response. I then called the office phone number at noon and was connected with a scheduler who is off-site. She sent them a message and after 5 minutes still had not heard back. I left. I was on my lunch break and schedule appointments instead of doing vaccine clinics because I was with the assumption appointments meant I would get in at the time I scheduled. I work for a living and don’t have time to sit around and wait almost an hour past my scheduled time. I also find it highly rude that if they were running late nobody reached out to me to let me know let alone answer my text and calls when I checked in. Horrible customer service…not once…not twice but three times!

Experiencia negativa: Never bring your pets here, I brought my bunny to be neutered a few years ago and they burnt his belly, told me “he wasn’t going down with sedation so the vet tech had to hold him down on the heating pad and they didn’t put anything between his skin and the heating pad.” My aunt also brought her male dog here to be neutered a few days ago and he came perfectly fine, left with a huge gash in his eye. They told her “he must’ve woken up from the anesthesia mad and hit his head.” WORST PLACE AND CARE FOR ANIMAS.

Experiencia negativa: I am heartbroken to write this, but I feel it’s important to share. My dad's 3-month-old kitten was brought to your clinic for a neuter surgery. He came home extremely lethargic and barely able to walk. He wasn't eating or drinking. Tragically, he passed away within 24 hours. After he shared what happened, I remembered that others had very similar experiences with this place, some losing otherwise healthy adult cats within a day of being treated at this clinic and others losing kittens.These aren’t isolated incidents. I’m writing this not out of anger, but out of heartbreak and concern. If you’re considering this clinic, please take this into account and ask questions about their protocols and post-op monitoring. I wish we had known to do that sooner. please do your research and give your pets a chance at life.

Experiencia negativa: Went in April 2025 for check up for both of my two dogs. Waited 1 hour and 45 mints. The doctor and 2 student s that came in and the doctor . spent more time lecturing to the student and her back toward me In stead of actually dealing with some concerns I had of my dogs. She played it off like it wasn't a concern. It was for me thats y i was there. She said she would call me later to schedule me with a surgeon for on of my dogs. That never happened. They really dont care, they r not respectful to the patient time or concern. These folks just go thru the motion, slow motion but have no interest in helping at all.

Experiencia positiva: I used them for neutering my puppy. I liked the initial call but I never received the Zoom call that was scheduled with the vet. My puppy was still active after his surgery and they couldn't get the protective cone on him. He was able to lick a little on the ride home. So I took him to a local vet for a follow. He told me the placement of the procedure should have been done differently. His sack should have been pushed up instead of making the cut right on his sack. I understand it's a teaching facility. So this is just my review, saying that it should have been placed in a different area so he wouldn't be in so much pain. Now his healing time will be longer. The price was fine.

Experiencia positiva: an improvement that could be made was if they could have warned us that our cats didnt get done and had to stay another day because we already traveled an hour to get there and waited in line an hour if you just put in your mind this may happen because they are very bussy than it would not be as big of a deal. and just warning people to use cages that arent broken or that the animal can get loose from because one that wasnt ours got away and took off, not there fault! also cage seperatly not 2 in one cage so its easier for them to handle them. i belive thats why ours was put to last because 2 were in one pen.

Experiencia negativa: Probably fine for a immunization or something really small but this place is a joke. They can't seem to run properly or remember anything from one day to the next. If you like waiting a week for a call back or playing phone tag while your pet is ill, then this is your place! I personally have been having the worst experience possible with them and all they say is sorry. Sorry doesn't really help in my pets situation. Now has wasted over 2 months of my and my cats life having us wait. Can't seem to test samples correctly, keep samples safe and not LOST!!! Waited hours to speak to an actual person to be told wait longer, then to lose important samples before testing or simple review. Can't even remember what happened 2 days ago. So make sure you get people's names and document everything! Also one time harassed me for $12 I never owed. These people don't care about you or your pet. At least they don't seem to care about me or mine. Really think before going here.

A friend recommended me Wisconsin Community Veterinary Center they are great services friendly and very professional Thumper is happy as before and healthy!!! Experiencia positiva: I had a good experience during my first visit with my cat. Then I had to schedule a comprehensive exam a couple months after his initial visit for some breathing issues he’s having and did so for 6/24 at 9am. WCVC is about 35-40 minutes from me one way, so I took time off work to get my kitty there, only to be told that his visit was actually scheduled for 6/25 and to come back the next day. Because of the time commitment required on my end, I’d written down the appointment date immediately when it was scheduled - in my physical calendar, in my phone, and in my work calendar. I have no problem admitting when I’ve made a mistake, but I know I had the correct date written down and am unsure how the mix-up happened. I am unable to take off a second morning in a row from work to take him back to the clinic, so I ended up just cancelling the visit and eating the cost. Money aside, my time didn’t feel very respected. I wish there could have been more of an effort made to accommodate us this morning. I essentially took time off work to drive ~1.5 hours and stress my cat out for no reason since he was stuck in his crate the whole time. I know WCVC does excellent work for shelters and other pets in the Madison area, so I don’t mean to discount that, and we did have a good experience during our first visit. I just wanted to share this experience since it left me feeling frustrated.

Experiencia negativa: Currently sitting in the parking lot and have 2 separate appointments for my cats. They come out at my appt time to inform me that they’re behind and it’s a 30-40 minute wait. This place also likes to ask you how much money you like to spend rather than just charging what they charge. I recommend telling them you only have $20 for your budget otherwise they will take every dollar you have and then some. I don’t like sitting in a parking lot for 2 hours while my cats are dealing with an ear infection. I understand that things happen, but when someone has an appt with a business that appt should be kept because people have lives outside of their parking lot.

Experiencia fantástica: I did the pick up and drop off for my cats spay and since than my cat is fully healed. It is your responsibility as a pet parent to let your cat heal after a spay/neuter as complications can happen. I confined my cat in a kennel the FULL 14 days while only taking the e collar off to eat and drink. NO running or jumping WHATSOEVER for 14 days!!!!!! No walking around either as you’d rather be safe than sorry. Her incision was really small so it healed fast. check incision TWICE daily but don’t pick them up to check simply put a flash under their belly and look under. The only thing I didn’t like is them cutting my cats nails. Thank you so much!

Experiencia negativa: THEY KILLED MY CAT!!!! I 100% do not recommend bringing your animals here for any service. My perfectly healthy 2 1/2 year old cat went in on 6/5/25 to be spayed and told me they would place and IV Catheter for her. That was never given, I picked her up and they had stated that her gums were pale and to keep an eye on her. She was barely breathing and couldn't keep her head up. Her carrier had feces and pee in it. I rushed her into UW veterinary hospital where she was anemic, blood in the abdomen, and in shock... she was prepped for surgery and died before they could begin. I reached out Friday morning and was told a manager would call me Monday. 6/9 waited until 4:30PM for a call that never came. I had called them and they couldn't get a manager or supervisor on the line so they said one would call me back. I received a call at 5:45pm and it was an intern vet calling to say sorry. I asked if they were the one that performed the surgery or a manager? They said no to both. I asked why they were calling and not a manager or supervisor. They didn't have an answer. She had 0 answers to any of my questions what so ever. So now I am supposed to receive another call tomorrow. Hopefully getting closure and answers. What a terrible place that mutilated my perfectly healthy cat....

Experiencia fantástica: The staff here took an emergent visit for my faithful canine companion. I am greatful that they handled the appointment the day of, they did so with compassion and kindness. I am thankful this clinic exists. A long drive but I simply couldn't afford the surgery at my PC.

Experiencia negativa: This place is terrible they over charged for office call. Then they took labs on my dog I had to contact them for results. The doctor was very rude because I didn't want to purchase their treats. They also had misdiagnosed my other dog charging large amounts of money and took the dog to another vet and he didn't even have issues! Terrible I will not be taking dog back

Experiencia negativa: Took my dog in on April 8th for an annual. He was a healthy 4 yr old chocolate lab. They said they were able to administer all vaccines and he was a happy boy. The next day he seemed off and had a few accidents so I called to make another appointment. Took him in and after the appointment his leg was so beat up he couldn’t walk right! They completely mutilated him! I will never come back to this place again and I don’t recommend it to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience fixing a barn cat. They have flexible hours several days a week for drop off (see website). for low cost spay/neuter. This is so helpful when dealing with a feral cat you never know if they will be in the trap when they need to be. Staff was polite, informative and helpful. 4th year vet students do all of the procedures under the supervision of a registered veterinarian. Not only a great learning tool for the students but an asset to the community. People love their pets and making vet care affordable is invaluable.

Experiencia fantástica: When I booked I was reading some of the good and negative reviews and it made me super nervous and anxious. My dog got neutered today and was the best experience they explained everything before the appointment and explained everything after the appointment! I’m definitely someone who is nervous leaving my dog somewhere especially for hours never have before I drove an hour and a half so when I tell you don’t listen to the negative reviews because it will make you think even more…. I highly recommend this place they did an amazing job on the nail trim too!! The staff was excellent ☺️

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional handling my dog there for 6 hours and they couldn't take care of my dog telling me my dog doesn't stay still they charge me for sedation and x-ray tells me he doesn't stay still and tell me that there x-ray machine doesn't take good pictures but they charge me $150.61 and nothing was done to my dog so time and money wasted and now they want to send me to another doctor so I can wast more money.now I know vetinarian trick with big dog.the trick he doesn't stay still o well just charge home and send him to another vetinarian wow good job guys keep up the good hack

Experiencia negativa: 10000/10 DONT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! Spend the money and take them to an actual Veterinary Clinic. Don’t cheap out! They are a dishonest, shady, horrible clinic! If you want your pet to survive and come home alive don’t take them. This clinic needs to be shut down. I’ve taken all my pets here for years, but after my experience in Feb. never ever again. They killed my cat. My poor baby boy. He was so young, he was just starting life. (Long story short) 1st they called to inform me that he coded “after” surgery. (After I picked him up that night we read the paperwork I was given and it started that he coded before the surgery so that’s 1 lie, and what vet in the right mind would still go thru with the neuter if the cat coded already). I spoke to other vets on this and said that the surgery should’ve never been done if he coded. We chose to bring him home to get him out of there he stayed at home overnight and went to and emergency clinic the next morning which is where he passed. They never wrote down the time/how long he coded for but they made sure to write everything else down. When I asked how long he was down for the tech said 4mins but the Vet gave her a dirty look and was very quick to say “oh not very long it was very quick”. The next day they sent me my $80 for the neuter but not my $15 for rabies. Also never sent me the $40ish they charged me when I picked him up for a saline medicine they administered for brain swelling. There’s a lot more to this story but it’s so so so long and I don’t wanna type out every individual thing. Long story short DONT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! This clinic can’t be trusted. If you want your babies to come home safe and alive DONT bring them here!

Experiencia fantástica: This place was a life saver. Literally. My dog Snoopy had severe bladder stones and needed surgery to get them removed, and they worked with me every step of the way in order to make sure he was able to get them removed. I lived a bit far and was able to get a phone consultation after sending every medical record/xray/tests he previously had done over. Obviously, its a case by case basis on if they can do phone consultations, but since he was just at an ER vet and had the xrays and tests done, they were able to work with me on that. The cost was lower than other vets that were quoting me in the thousands for this procedure. They stayed in constant communication before, during, and a bit after to make sure Snoopy was ok. I would definitely recommend them if your pet needs surgery.

Of course, since this disease is highly transmittable, her other dog became infected as well. When she called to notify them of this instance, and obtain treatment for both of her dogs, she was put on hold three times, AND DENIED CARE AND TREATMENT FOR HER DOGS. Do not take your animals to this "clinic" unless they need to be put down. Negative infinity stars out of ten.

My beautiful, fully vaccinated girl caught kennel cough. Not only is she so sick she has coughed so hard she has developed a hematoma in her ear. She has also infected my other dog. I called to obtain treatment for both significantly ill dogs, I was denied care for my dog that is very sick. Due to the lack of professionalism, proper biosecuroty, and care, I strongly encourage anyone considering this option to seek care elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I am SO grateful to WICVC for the amazing work they do. There is no vet in southeast Wisconsin that compares to them in terms of affordability and accessibility. My dog had surgery today to remove a cancerous cyst for 1/3 the cost quoted by my regular vet. Sure, you have to wait in line and guests are processed in a bit of an assembly line fashion, but how else could they possibly see and treat all the animals they do for half the price of traditional vets. Don't want to wait in line? Don't like how they process incoming appointments? Go to your regular vet and pay twice the cost. WICVC makes it possible to have animals and keep them healthy and well without going broke. Grateful to WICVC!

The number of post-op patients they have with complications and infections is astronomical. Yet, when these issues arise this clinic will not provide further care and will just refer to another clinic. This place is a joke of a veterinary clinic and is not respected by the other clinics in the area, which is why they changed their name because they were getting so much backlash. Please if you care for your pets well being do not take them here.

EDIT: Jennifer of WCVC tried to send me an email this morning, again unprofessional, about why my review is “wrong”. It isn’t. I was patient throughout the whole day, but waiting in line for almost an hour each time when I got there on time is ridiculous. Imagine all the people behind me who had to wait 2+ hours! I just feel bad for them honestly. The unprofessionalism was not at all addressed in this email. It was clear to me the email was sent with a slew of excuses as to why they feel my review is not fair. I don’t care what you think is fair. You treated my living, breathing pets poorly, and this review will reflect that 100%. They even tried to blame me for the expensive pricing, however, I was comparing pricing to those in the past for a surgery vs. the price they charge today. I’m fully aware that I ordered extra pain medicine for my animals, and thank god I did. They offer a free checkup up to a week after surgery. I’d rather pay my vet to actually care for my pets and make sure they are ACTUALLY good. I regret ever bringing my pets here. And the response from the clinic just confirms the fact that I will never, ever be back, nor will I ever recommend services. Oh, also, the excuse for the feces on my carrier was “busy discharge”. How pathetic. I brought in my two dogs to be neutered today and I am absolutely appalled with how the quality of service has declined in recent years. First of all, I got there early both at pick up and drop off, and was waiting still 45+ minutes both times. They would take cars that came in after me and they would leave before me. Buyers beware that prices here are now nearly equivalent to just going to your vet, and they force you to allow vet students to do procedures if you want to be seen there, so it’s not even worth it. My poor, poor babies. When I picked up my dogs, they had masking tape on their heads stuck to their fur. The cone on my smaller dog was doubled knotted and tied so tight that he could barely move or breathe. There was ACTUAL FECES on the bag that I brought my dog in, which was NOT there beforehand. Just smeared shit all over the top of the carrier. Not only that, but when texting that I had arrived, I received a “thumbs up” emoji, super unprofessional, 20 minutes before they even brought my dogs out to me for pick up. I am absolutely disgusted with this treatment, especially when I filled their slots for the next day and gave them my money. For them to treat my pets this way should be criminal. They didn’t even confirm my appointment until after 10pm the day before, but then they claim if you miss your appointment that there’s no refund. It genuinely seems like they TRY to scam you. I’ve brought my pets here for years for service and never has it been this bad. Clearly they are taking on too many animals that they can comfortably care for, maybe due to being money hungry for donations, who knows. I will absolutely never be returning nor will I ever encourage anyone to utilize their services ever again.

Had a nail trim done and on one foot they cut so short my boy was bleeding and on the other foot it doesn't look like they trimmed them at all. The lady told me it's because he was moving around to much.umm that's your job to do is to know how to hold a dog while they are getting there nail clipped. Very unhappy with this visit I will never let them cut my boys nails ever again. I paid 15.00 for a half assed job.

Experiencia fantástica: We were very pleased with the outcome of our dog’s neutering procedure. We were referred by the pet rescue where we got our puppy. Though it’s not a real personalized experience with your pet because lots of people are dropping off cats and dogs for surgery, we found the pre-op and post op instructions were very good, and our dog healed up well without any issues. We feel the care was professional and extremely affordable, less than 1/3 of the price of a private clinic. We would recommend this clinic for neutering your pet.

Experiencia positiva: It is understandable for pickup/drop off to take some time because the large number of customers coming through on a daily basis. However, pick up was a bit of a mess. I arrived at 5 to pick up my cat and texted the provided number. A half hour goes by with no response while multiple customers who arrived after me were quickly sent away with their pets (and even though several employees were out in the lot and saw me there the whole time nothing was said to me while I continued to wait). Eventually I went inside. The receptionist and employees seemed confused why I would come inside. I explained the situation of waiting and was brought my cat. I was pretty much just given my cat along with an informational paper (very basic information) and her medication without saying anything else to me or an explanation of what to do now post surgery and how to administer the meds. I also selected the additional pain meds that were noted as gabapentin liquid, but was given capsules with no explaination or advice on how to get my cat to take the pills. It wasn’t until after calling to ask why I was given capsules instead of the liquid that they said that is standard for cats over 6 pounds, even though this was not anywhere on the website. Luckily I did have a good experience talking with the vet about this situation. While they originally wanted me to pay again to get the actual meds I was told I was going to receive in the first place, they agreed to waive the fee. The vet was very friendly and helpful to me and provided very useful information during our phone call that would have been nice to receive at pick up. While I could have been more proactive and asked more questions at pick up, clients often don’t know what they are supposed to know or ask questions about, and an extra long wait for pick up had me stressed out and simply wanting to get out of there. Overall this was a good experience and I would recommend this place, because the surgery went well and my cat is recovering well, but communication at pick up was pretty bad and you should be prepared to ask questions proactively because no information was conveyed to me at pick up beyond the informational sheet (once again very basic information) as I was just given my cat and the meds and sent on my way.

First off, they gave our cat to a shelter, then made us sit out in the parking lot for almost 2 hours trying to give us other people’s pets and coming out asking which pet was ours(did that 3x) then when they finally realized that our pet was gone, they gave us 80$ refund even though we spent 100$, this place is trash, they definitely got their licenses through chat gpt and ai services, don’t take your pet here, they’ll end up either killing it or giving it away, this place is bottom of the barrel

They took him in, did the surgery on the same day, and for a fraction of the price. The staff were so friendly and caring. I can’t say enough about the care my boy received here. Without them, my boy Thor wouldn’t be with us. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Experiencia negativa: I have been coming here around 8 years. When sat inside and the vet talked to you as a group. And you could decline a student doing the surgery on your pet. The conference call as a group was great. I felt like they cared. And you paid the day of appt. Well now its a drive thru service . Very impersonal , I set appt up on line 12/27/24 was shocked to get in so fast, Appt 12-31-24 use to be booked out at least 2 months. But of course now you have to pay the cost up front. They call it deposit , which should be a warning sign. But being charged more never happened to me here before. My one vet was booked out a month and the price was higher than here. So I paid 195 upfront. basic spay rabies, dappv and mirco chipping, nail trim. Got a call 12/30/24 forgot to sign releases. So went thru that with a really nice remote appt people. Also needs 15$ more as online didnt take the rabies I clicked on. 12/31/24- 5th spot in lot. Still waited at least 30 mins. oh well. muzzle her as she is a rottie and is not use to other big dogs. wanted to make sure if a big dog made her feel threatened. She couldn't react. she has never been aggressive. on my way home got a call, they wanted more $ cause of her size. ? I filled in her weigh breed age online. 90# yet they need to up grade her spay to premium plus cause she is a big girl.(high Risk)? So instead for the 150 spay its now 240. was driving paid when I got home. another request of $ a little later. $50 charge for being obese, ??what and then 25$ more as turns out she had pyrometra. So a more involved surgery. then 86. for antibiotics. will my donation I put out 475. now where near the 210$ I expected. I should have just got with one of my other vets. it was 2 hrs up and back ea time drop off pick up. thats not including the waiting time. Turns out DONT hand your dog over with a muzzle on. As they will keep it on your dog all day. Just took off for surgery. She was dazed and confused, wobbing from side to side clearly still high from surgery drugs , as the Girl (O) drags her to my truck, Many dogs are pretty much dragged to their owns cars.As staff is in a hurry to get them released. I took the muzzle off right away. Pulled their nylon choker leash off her, had a hold of collar. Asked O to help put her into the back seat of my truck. She is a 97 # dog, Im 66. I also took the cone off. I had a donut inflatable collar that is used instead of cones , in the truck. Well O refused to help cause she was to busy trying to argue with me that I have to keep the cones on in the truck for the hr ride home. even tho I explained I use something else. And never use those cones. ZERO respect for me as the dogs OWNER. If fact staff wrote on my paperwork which I finally downloaded and printed today. That if my dog needed a recheck I would be charged for it. Because i took the cone Off. Seriously I drove to the BP down the road and put the inflatable collar on.When I got home I put a after surgery body suit on her. Im 66 and have been a pro breeder for 44 yrs. No this girl was never bred. She is my big baby guard dog. LOL I just feel like noone cared about my dog , or me. It was one demand for more $ after another. Yes remote callers where very likeable and kind. Lady at counter was great. Girl taking my dog and the one bring her out. NOT so nice. Very short and just want to get it done as fast as they can. ZERO caring or respect for me or my dog. I am just besides myself to how I was treated. After all the years I have been going there. I trap fix n release feral cats. on my dime. I have had a few dogs fixed thru this place. Always had phone conversations with the vet. Im at a loss..well dont every drop your dog off with muzzle. And remember they call it a deposit. so you may very well be asked for more $$. Most staff is friendly ..but some are NOT. And after reading many reviews. I would not have taken her there had I know the amount of people who dogs caught kennel cough from here. I hope they take some time to improve their system . And communication w the customers better.

Experiencia negativa: Overall decent experience. It's cheap, much cheaper than our everyday vet which is a nice feature. Have take. 2 of our dogs in the past with great experiences up until our most recent visit. Took my male puppy to get neutered, about an hour later I received a high risk email consent form noting that the vet noticed my pet was pregnant or in heat. Obviously not possible as he's a male. Called couldn't get through so emailed the reception and was told "that's strange just ignore it" which resulted in them sending the original disclosure back to me asking me to resign it. Checked the vet record form after pick up and there was again that high risk note that the vet noticed my male dog was pregnant or in heat. Pickup seemed rather unorganized and I ended up being charged twice for the extra takehome medication that I originally paid for in the original invoice but was not given at pick up until I had asked and they charged me again. That was fine it wasn't too expensive. My dog ended up licking at his incision while I was at work which caused a red rash type of thing and they quickly got him back in and prescribed antibiotics and more calming meds. However after this visit 2 days later he started showing signs of kennel cough. Very sad to see my baby struggle with this. Results in another vet visit to our local much more expensive vet for treatment options as they take a more personal thorough approach than I felt we received at this vet. Please be advised that you get the service you pay for.

Experiencia fantástica: They send you all sorts of information about the procedure, who will be working on your babies, how to do pick up and drop off, they explain extras for packages. Very helpful. I am a person who gets anxiety at anything new that I do and this was great. However the line does get long and you will have to wait to drop off and pick up your animal so make sure you give yourself plenty of time! Basically donate your entire time for your babies.

Experiencia negativa: I would prefer in the future to go to my own vet. I took my dog to this clinic because she was a rescue. I had used them about 10 years earlier. It was all very impersonal and cold. It felt like an assembly line. I was there with a rescue about 10 years earlier. It wasn’t as impersonal. They actually asked if I wanted CPR if she coded.. seriously? I work as a respiratory therapist. And it would be extra to resuscitate her. Resuscitation should not be an extra charge. I can’t imagine saying that to my patients. It was a bad experience for my dog I am sure, she was just rescued from a bad situation, then treated like a number. My vet is difficult to get into see, but he is very professional and compassionate. I felt bad for Luna. Never again. Then I received an obesity surcharge because she had extra abdominal tissue and it took a bit longer. Never have my dogs’ surgeries been based on time. That is inappropriate, unprofessional, irresponsible and tacky. And honesty with all the added fees.. my vet’s charge is a few dollars more. And the techs at my clinic, trim nails, clean ears and show compassion. This is probably a great idea for big rescues but I am a small rescue. I will pay the extra money for professionalism and compassion.

Experiencia negativa: We’ve had multiple bad experiences with this place but this time we had to bring our dog in for a 10 day quarantine because he bit someone and wasn’t up to date on his rabies shot. (Our bad, honestly but this year has been crazy with a new baby and many hospital visits unfortunately.) however he was coughing on the car ride home, didn’t think much of it at first, thought he just had something caught in his throat, however it was pretty evident when he got excited to see our other dogs that he has kennel cough. Hopping they don’t catch it by keeping them separate. Anyway we feel extremely disappointed as no one cared to inform us about the kennel cough when talking on the phone or picking him up. Thanks for the extra vet bill on top of yours. Smh

Experiencia negativa: The experience with this clinic was super unorganized. My dog was brought here a month ago for a tumor mass that they were going to x-ray and do some blood work. My dog was super high energy, so getting her to calm down for those things just didn’t work out, when they went to reschedule my appointment, they just picked a random day and time didn’t ask me if the day and time is okay. Due to my dogs cancer I made the decision to put her down after this appointment, I had spoken to somebody at the clinic the day that I put my dog down, saying I would no longer need the appointment because I put her down. Now a month later I am getting a call to reschedule my appointment for my dog. I realize days get busy, but they need to do better record keeping, because I informed them that my dog has passed and I miss my dog every single day, I’m dealing with all types of grief and having these people call me really was super triggering for me today.

Experiencia negativa: WCVC seemed like a great option to save money but in the end, we simply cannot recommend them. I asked if I could remove my puppy's harness prior to dropping her off and they ensured me it was fine to leave it with them. Well, unfortunately the staff lost it and their customer service is solely handled by off-campus call centers. Additionally, her scar is not a flat smooth line but bunched up and jagged. Lastly, be aware that once you schedule, you must pay in full and it is nonrefundable. We were happy to save financial means for veterinary care but at the end of the day but as the old saying goes... You get what you pay for.

Everyone in my house did get kennel cough I think they need a better cleaner and to add more surfaces. Please have your dogs vaccinated before taking them in my Chihuahua is still very sick but he wasn’t the one that came in. The surgery tattoo isn’t really big enough in my opinion and there’s a large bump inside my dog hopefully it will go away soon my last few dogs have been male this is a female and I just don’t recall how the car is supposed to look. It’s affordable and like I said my dog is alive this is just my most honest response

Experiencia negativa: They take forever. I was one of the first people here in the morning and one of first to pick up. After 30 minutes of waiting in the parking spot i went in and they said oh were sorry shes still waking up from anesthesia she was one if the last ones done. What kind of process is going on here. I guess it would make to much sense to go in order who was brought in first. I don't know what is worse wasting hours and hours of time or paying more to go somewhere else. I would not recommend this place. Go to local humane society.
