I feel blessed to have found the Animal Hospital veterinarians and technicians to care for my fur babies. My next door neighbor referred me. Everyone at Animal Hospital has been wonderful, especially Dr. P, Dr. Ben and the vet tech Zach. They listen and explain with compassion. They are the best group of vets that I have had and I am 72.

We've been to five different vets in town and they all wanted to do surgery or would refer us to another vet for surgery. This is the only vet that has helped us with a treatment plan not including surgery. Couldn't recommend them more to someone who loves their pets like they were children.

Experiencia fantástica: My nine month old black lab Valkyrie was diagnosed with Parvo this week, to say, I have been a mess as an absolute understatement. I have felt extreme stress and anxiety with Valkyrie being sick, but the staff at Animal Hospital have helped me get through this situation so beautifully and so compassionately. Let me just say I will never take my dogs to anyone else other than Dr. P as long as I’m alive and breathing. She has been so compassionate with me so understanding gave me all of the information and then some and she’s even offering to show me on how to do my dogs IV for this weekend when the office is closed. She answered all of my questions in ways that I could easily understand, and understood the anxiety that I felt given the situation. Upon pick up of Valkyrie every single day, she fills me and totally with where she is at and what she thinks and I am eternally grateful because it puts me at ease just hearing it come from her how much progress Valkyrie is making. The vet tech staff is some of the best that I’ve ever come across in my entire life. They are also so incredibly passionate and compassionate about their work. They have all been so sweet to me, and I am forever grateful and indebted to every single one of them I do not doubt for a split second that she is getting the exact care that she needs and then some I know some of the staff goes in there multiple times a day just to keep her company as she’s in isolation during the day I know today upon pick up, she jumped in one of the vet tech arms because she was so excited to go home, but she felt so comfortable with the vet tech that she jumped in her arms, and that tells me the level of compassion that they are showing her. They are so gentle with her and so careful and any of my concerns that I ever bring up they make sure to handle immediately. We did have a slight issue with one vet tech only; I do not know her name, but I know she is the bigger girl with long dirty blonde hair. She was very rough getting Valkyrie in and out of my vehicle and when I asked her to please be gentle she said I’m a vet tech. I know what I’m doing, and I responded with. I understand that, but this is my baby. Please be careful with her. To be clear, Valkyrie was diagnosed with Parvo and she picked her up by her stomach, which is an absolute no no when a puppy has Parvo. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and the next morning I asked the next vet tech if she could be removed from Valkyrie’s care, And it was handled immediately. And I was very grateful for that my personal recommendation to Animal Hospital is that if a vet tech is not able to show gentleness, compassion, and empathy to the animals and their parents that they are treating then maybe they should consider a different career path, As I’ve recently heard from some of the other vet techs that this is an ongoing issue. But the fact that it was handled so quickly, and so effectively made me feel so much more at ease. My Valkyrie is still on the healing path. We’ve still got a long way to go, but I know that she’s in good hands at ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Every member of the staff is so kind and compassionate, and im just so grateful. I will never take my dog to anywhere else other than Animal hospital as long as I live. I owe the staff everything because I am pretty sure that they saved my dogs life. I have never felt more cared for and in better hands in my entire life I am completely comfortable and I’m getting all of the information I need to give my dog the best care and I know that she is getting the best care.le

I was able to be seen, even if i had to wait until the very last possible moment before leaving. The staff never once made new feel like an, "ugh, here another one moment." My pupper is responding well to his meds, and yes i check in on the daily with my friend watching them. This clinic is BEYOND AMAZING

They saw the worry on my face and kept reassuring me that she was going to be ok. I called the 24 hr vet and got hung up on and they didn’t seem to care at all. Their prices are very reasonable too. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

After calling five or six veterinary clinics for Reb after being bit by a snake only one veterinary clinic in Clarksville had the Anti-Venom. Dr Hill was great she answered every question. And explained everything very well. Her staff was very kind and courteous. I will highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anybody I know. Reb will continue to use this veterinary clinic.

Both the Dr and the nurse were so gentle and kind when it came to my baby. She was examined and diagnosed with allergies. ( Such a huge relief for me ). I Would definitely give more stars if I could. Plus a HUGE shout out to Montgomery County Angel Fund for helping my WeWe to be able to see the Dr at the Animal Hospital in the first place! Thank you!!! Update: I brought my baby back to the Animal Hospital because she kept shaking her head and crying / yipping. Turns out that was also due to Allergies. Because of this the Dr. Didn't charge me a penny and he gave me piece of mind.

They also charged less than the previous place I'd tried, so I'm happy with the whole experience. This is the place I'm bringing my cats from now on.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an overall great experience at animal hospital of Clarksville! I was so nervous for my cat’s dental. He’s older with a history of leukemia and gets really stressed at the vet. The receptionist, Kelly, was really helpful and understanding. She made lots of notes in his file so we were able to get him sedated right away and they called us as soon as the procedure was done so we could be there when he woke up. Everything went smoothly, Dr. Pasquinelly was amazing! She was passionate, quick and efficient. Both Kelly and Dr. pasquinelly helped put me and my cat at ease. The cost of services was extremely reasonable as well

Experiencia fantástica: Both of my medically needy pets doctor's are at Animal Hospital. If it wasn't for them Pupa wouldn't still be here, we would have lost her 2 years ago. And Rukus would have been at the rainbow bridge last year. Dr P found cancer in Pupa's anal gland and removed almost all of it. She couldn't get any more without leaving her incontinent in Jan 23. This is a very fast growing cancer and most vets won't do surgery on it. We then started Palladia. As of today (Feb 2025) between Dr P, Dr. Hill and Dr Fancher we still have her. We expected at most 18 months. Her brother and litter mate, Rukus was diagnosed with Afib/CHF and a murmer by Dr Fancher Jan 24, if he hadn't caught it Rukus would have been at the bridge not to long after. After his EKG and ultrasound, a plan was made and as of today, Feb 25 he is still with us. He is doing OK with more good days than bad thanks to both Dr. Fancher and Dr. Hill always being there to follow them both and tweaking their meds when needed. The tech's and staff at the front desk are the best ever. They are all so caring and helpful. My heart goes out to them for having to help pets like my two, and deal with parents that are a mess like me. My two had another winter with lots of snow to play in as well

Experiencia negativa: Today I picked up my cat after a week of boarding. Not only was I told that her appetite was down during the stay, but I also didn't get a phone call. I was told I declined a nail trim, even though I noted both on the instruction sheet and the check in sheet that my cat was to get a nail trim. There was barely any kibble taken out of the bag I left, I was given back way more canned/pouch cat food than I should have had if the instructions I printed out and given them were followed, her skin itch spray were never used, and her towel was taken out of her crate that had washed the night before and washed even though it wasn't soiled (my cat has bad skin issues, which they are aware of as my cat was on meds during her stay for skin issues and my cat is a patient there). Though I was taken into a room and was told they would investigate the issues of this stay, and they agreed I should have gotten a phone call, but when your fur baby is your everything, it's hard to trust again. Now that we are home, I never want to let her go from my arms again. Edit to add: I paid for a nail trim that was "done" yesterday as I was picking up my cat, and you can clearly see in the image that they missed nails.

I took my dog to two other vet clinics that changed hands and raised prices before finding this place. They are affordable, and all the staff will make over your pet like he's the most important dog in the world. My German shepherd has had two perplexing health issues in the past few years, and the vets here have always figured it out and explained it thoroughly.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this vet clinic. The staff are always friendly and caring. They take my concerns for my fur babies seriously. I have had two urgent scenarios where my baby needed help right away and even though they were full they squeezed me in and cared for my sweet boy. They always call to check to make sure he is getting better. I originally took my puppy there because he was super sick with a fever, but they took such amazing care of I moved the records for my other two yorkies to the Animal Hospital as my home vet clinic. Wonderful caring people. I can’t say enough good things.

Experiencia negativa: A few weeks ago, my heart sank when I saw my dog throwing up blood. Panicked, I rushed him to the emergency vet, where they suspected he might have an obstruction. After that first vet visit, I took him to animal hospital, hoping for clarity. The vet there didn’t think it was an obstruction but told me to wait 24 hours after giving him anti-nausea meds. If he vomited again within that time, it would likely set the obstruction probability higher. Sure enough, he threw up again within the window. This time, I brought everything—his vomit and stool—and asked for further tests. But the vet dismissed the need for testing, convinced it was an obstruction. They rushed him into surgery, only to find nothing wrong inside. Afterward, my poor dog continued vomiting and having diarrhea. Desperate for answers, I insisted they test his stool again. That’s when they discovered worms—nothing more than a simple dewormer was needed, not a $2K surgery. They were quick to ask for money and even charged us multiple times, but took zero responsibility. The clinic owner brushed it off as “nobody’s fault,” offering me discounted medication instead of real solutions. To top it off, as I was leaving, the assistant had the nerve to tell me, “At least he saw you for free.” I wasn’t about to pay $80 for five minutes of vague answers. The only thing that felt remotely professional was the owner calling to ask how my dog was doing—but even then, he just repeated that it was “nobody’s fault” and that it might not even be worms after all. Turns out it *was* whipworms, and after a 3-day course of medication, my dog started to improve. It’s heartbreaking to think how much we went through, all because of a simple mistake that could’ve been caught earlier. I just wanted the best for my dog, and all they gave me was a painful lesson in how much money can cloud the care of an animal.

I don’t know what it is about this place but my dog was ACTUALLY CALM! She got so much positive attention, love and treats! Unlike any other vet we’ve been to, the staff at this place actually TAKE THE TIME to sit and chat/coo at your fur baby so they can be comfortable. My dog likes it here, and as long as my dogs happy, I’m happy. Their prices are also unexpectedly affordable! Thank you to the staff here for doing what I thought was impossible!

Experiencia fantástica: We moved from south FL up to Clarksville, TN. On the recommendation of a friend, we decided to "try out" The Animal Hospital. Both our 2 dogs require mani/pedis every 6 weeks. One of our pups needs his anal glands expressed. We cannot tell you enough how GREAT this place is! From the front desk staff with their friendliness and knowledge, to the vet techs with their compassion and experience and the veterinarians which does include the "newbies" and the elders..... nothing but the BEST. I wish they could take care of me. :-))))

Unfortunately we had to end up euthanizing, but they were all very compassionate and helped the best they possibly could in a situation like that. Howard, on the other hand, is rude and not friendly when things are not his way. He talks down to pet owners by telling them that they are irresponsible. We are going to be taking our business elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Took great care of my Ezio when he ripped his nail off the bed. He got a dose of meds at the vet and by the time we got home he ran to the food bowl to eat. He refused to eat since he injured himself. The next day he was back to normal! They were able to get him in quick and treat him quick.

My fur babies trust all of the great doctors and techs there, especially Matthew and Dr. Hill, who has been a lifesaver for me and my little guy as I navigate his many medical needs. Thank you Dr.Hill! The front desk staff are also super sweet and nice, especially Kelly (hope I'm remembering her name right). Kelly's sweet and reassuring demeanor is always so comforting to hear, especially when I'm stressed out and calling in about a fur baby emergency. Kelly is an ABSOLUTE ANGEL!

Experiencia fantástica: We brought our Bentley in today for a consult for a toe amputation. We have been in Clarksville for 2 years and hadn’t found a vet that just puts at ease….until today. Dr Howard and his staff are some of the kindest that I’ve met in this industry. Now while I’ll still be a wreck tomorrow while he’s having surgery…this is the first time I am at ease knowing we have the best people taking care of him. Thank Dr. Howard ❤️
