Experiencia fantástica: I took Leo my male cat into get a checkup because he was losing alot of weight. it was becoming very concerning. He treatment was done by Dr. Bryn Nicholl. The symptoms he was having could be from many issues. We did a X-ray and blood work. The blood work showed high levels showing he was fighting some type of sickness or infection. He was treated with antibiotics as a first response because it was impossible to know what it was at this point without further surgery diagnosis which cost thousands. After treatment with Antibiotics did not help relieve his symptoms and his condition continued to worsen. We had to change coarse. Dr. Bryn Nicholl and her staff were amazingly able to diagnose my poor baby before having to resort to surgery with FIP(Feline Infectious Peritonitis) a deadly disease for cats, which can be lethal within a week or few from the virus becoming active. Resulting from cat COVID. I thankfully had Dr. Bryn Nicholl and her staff when I needed it most.

They called me routinely with updates throughout the process, which I really appreciated. Lilly is now back to her normal self! I can not recommend them highly enough.

However, my bestie takes her dogs there and I've been with her multiple times when her pets had appointments. If/when I do get another dog, this is where I will take him. I've only ever witnessed love and compassion from the Drs. there. Especially (but not limited to) Dr. Megan. They take the time to answer questions, I've never felt like they rushed my friend out the door, they treat your pets like they are their own. They take the time to explain EVERYTHING! I'm in disbelief that there is even one negative review after all of the love, compassion and professional care I've witnessed at Tremont. They are unlike any other vet clinic I've ever been to!

Experiencia fantástica: Tremont Animal Clinic is the premiere location on Cleveland's Near Westside for caring for your cat or dog. I have taken my cats to Dr. Bob since the mid-2000's and followed him from his old location with Gateway on Abbey Ave. to this state-of-the-art facility on W. 25th St. he spearheaded in early 2014 with fellow doctors, Matt, Katie, and Sara. Scheduling appointments is easy and ensures you get care when you need it with a variety of reminders to make sure you bring your pet when agreed. This helps the whole process of pet medical care a breeze from caregivers you can trust. I highly recommend this facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I would and have recommended Tremont to everyone I know. The staff and Dr's are just wonderful. I have been going to them for years and so have all my Chihuahuas. They made sure they all had the best quality of life possible. Dr. Bob with Chole and Paco, Dr. Alex who was with Poppy to the end and how she and all the staff are so patient with Geronimo who is 5 now and suffers with anxiety so bad but still love him. I appreciate that. They truly love their jobs and all the animals. Thank you guys!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Katie is so wonderful! She got my cat in quickly for a dental procedure and has seen her multiple times since then to check on her teeth. She is always very informative, lays out all of the options, and makes sure that I don’t have any lingering questions or concerns when I leave. Many vets will try to get you out the door quickly or convince you to pay for unnecessary things, but it’s clear that Dr. Katie just genuinely cares about animals!

My dog Annie turned 14 and would never have made it this far without the tremendous support of the team here, especially Dr. Katie. Through regular check-ups they were able to get ahead of multiple issues that would have been too late had the staff here not been so proactive. Getting your pet set up as a patient here would be the best thing you could do.

Experiencia negativa: I used to love this vet clinic. I brought my chronically ill cats, Edgar and Hugo to see Dr. Sara for about a decade. Then I began having health issues myself and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and was unable to bring them in for awhile. As soon as I was able I called to make an appointment for them, but the phone system kept redirecting me and wouldn't allow me to leave a message or speak to the front desk staff. My multiple text messages inquiring about making an appointment (which the website listed as the preferred method of communication) were also ignored. After many attempts I finally emailed and asked why it was so difficult to get ahold of anyone, and detailed my frustration in trying to do so. Finally the staff responded, but not in the way I expected. The office manager who contacted me was very nasty and refused to take any responsibility. One of the techs told me I should have driven to the clinic to make an appointment in person instead of calling, texting or emailing. That is ridiculous and extremely unfair to expect of a person with a sometimes disabling chronic illness. I finally had enough, requested their records and went to another vet. Due to the unkind and unprofessional attitudes of the staff toward me, which I still do not understand, I can no longer recommend this vet clinic to anyone. I am still confused and surprised at the staff treating a long time client this way. It seems like any feedback that isn't a glowing review is not welcome, and the staff was not happy with being called out, so they made it impossible for me to bring my cats back in, even refusing to see my cat Hugo after he had a seizure. It seems like now that TAC has become "state of the art" and has all the latest technology, if you're not providing a regular flow of cash then you're not a priority any longer. Long time clients aren't valued, and that is shameful.

Experiencia fantástica: We love Tremont Animal Clinic! We started coming in 2019 when we first adopted our hound mix, Winston. Winston was our first dog and the staff was great answering all my first time pet owner questions. We've now added a second dog to the family, Verdi, and the staff is great with her as well. I feel comfortable advocating for my dogs, asking questions about their care, and feel the staff truly care about them. We've seen the team for basic vaccinations, bloodwork, x-rays, to more complex issues like helping us better understand Winston's GI issues. Everyone we've interacted with is great, but we are big fans of Dr. Matt & Dr. Alex. Winston is an especially big fan of the signature Dr. Matt cookie sandwich and Verdi has grown to love them too.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome doctors and staff. Tremont as a whole, just cares. They’ve taken care of our furry friends since they were on West 14. bob does God’s work! They’ve taken amazing care of our Jefe with his diabetes, sweet Rosie and her cancers, my temperamental old Selena with her geriatric spading and our newest puppy Sofia just starting out. If they can squeeze you in, they will. If they can’t, they’ll tell you. I appreciate that. They don’t push for things you may not be able to afford. They give you options. Procedure pricing they give a quote with a range so you can plan accordingly. I also love the technology! I can text with them and they use the pet version of my chart. I recommend to all my family and friends.

They know I love my cats like they're my children. Only thing I wish they did was accept CareCredit. Oh, and charge $20 for nail trim? Kind of high. Other than that, great place.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Sara and her team at Tremont Animal Clinic took exceptional care of my cat Sadie today. She went in for dental extractions, and I thought she'd need 1-2 at most. Turns out, 9 teeth had to be removed. Dr. Sara kept me informed every step of the way, was kind and courteous. I received great after care instructions. The price was very fair for the amount of work that was done. I definitely trust TAC for caring for my kitties!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve lived in a few different cities and TAC is by far the best vet clinic I’ve ever taken my dog to. We’ve been clients for over 10 years and I wouldn’t want anyone else to care for my senior pup. We usually see Dr. Sara, but if we have a last minute need I know we’re in good hands with any other doc - they are all compassionate and kind. I also am comfortable with the care plan every visit, I never feel like I’m getting unnecessary tests or procedures done, everything is always in my pets best interest. There’s a lot of things that can be done for older pets, but I feel confident that our doctor suggests what we absolutely need so we aren’t doing things just for the sake of doing them. We’ve had the best care here and the docs at TAC truly care for my pup as if she were their own!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my beloved Birdie (13 year old sweet cat) to TAC a few days ago and she was diagnosed with cancer. This was shockingly sad, and I made the kind yet difficult decision to end her suffering before she suffered more. I would like to thank Dr. Kelley for her expertise, kindness, and compassion during the entire appointment. My Mom and I are so grateful for how sweet, gentle, and understanding Dr. Kelley was, and I trusted her knowledge 100%. My sweet Birdie passed over the rainbow bridge with nothing but love by her side and this was because of Dr. Kelley and the excellent, professional staff at TAC. Thank you so very much!

Experiencia fantástica: If you want solid veterinary care for your animal friend or family member, this is the place to be! My wife is extremely dedicated to our dog and accepts nothing but the best for her. The practice moved into this location to have more space and access to modern facilities several years back, and it sure is great. Beyond ensuring there is plenty of room for you and your pet if you have to wait, there are fantastic facilities for their provision of care. One very nice touch is the glass wall and entrance/exit, so you can see if other pets are coming through the door or standing right in or outside of it - you never have to be surprised by a big dog that isn't happy to be there. That kind of choice that they made is a great example of how thoughtful they are. Everyone in the place is an animal lover and they put as much care into your pet as you do. There are places to walk your dog outside so they can do their business, along with poop bags and a can to put the bagged waste in...which is great for us because our pup is ALWAYS excited to leave her mark when arrives here and smells all the other pups. There is a great parking lot with plenty of parking in it for whenever you visit. If it is ever full (which I've never seen) they have on-street parking right next to the clinic, as well. Enough from me - make an appointment for your pet and see for yourself how great the facility and, more importantly it's people are. Then come back and like this reveiew to help guide others to the best veterinary care in the area.

Experiencia negativa: We had a male Shepard/Boxer mix that was taken care of Tremont for 9 years. On January 10th of 2021 my wife called me at work that our boy was acting odd. Breathing shallow and confused. I told her to call the vet and I would be right home. I arrived in 15 minutes and carried my boy to the truck. He was alert when I asked him if he wanted to go for a ride which always perks him up. My wife informed me that Tremont could not see him and they told her we should take him to WestPark. He was sitting in the backseat on my wife's lap and sat up for the ride but was panting with shallow breath. WestPark had a tech in the parking lot waiting and I jumped out to get him from the backseat. I said to the tech "my dog is in medical emergency" and she responded with " the Shepard mix" which I replied "yes". At that very moment heard my wife scream because my boy had died in her arms. We rushed him inside and WestPark tried everything to revive him but to no avail. I am not saying Tremont could have saved him but after 9 years of normal vaccines, treatments and special diet food purchased at Tremont, they didn't have time for him in crisis. They are on 2 minutes away from our home vs. WestPark that is 15. Critical minutes in a cardiac situation. We were very fortunate to be able to adopt another Shepherd the following day at the APL and after the APL checked him out I brought him to Tremont for their review. He checked out to be very healthy but malnourished. When we arrived there Dr. Katie told one of the workers that we were good costumers and that we had purchased food from them for our prior dog for 9 years. Is that the definition of a good customer? Because we bought our special food for him directly from them, monthly and spent countless dollars? Is their main goal to pay for that nice new building? Fast forward to yesterday when our current Boy hurt his front leg severely the night before and was in a lot of pain so I called Tremont to been seen yesterday morning. They could not get him in until next week. I called and again went to WestPark who saw him right away. They treated him, diagnosed him and found the issue and treated accordingly. To summarize; I would rather drive the extra 13 minutes than be just a cash cow for a local clinic. Our pets are priceless to us owners and we especially expect service in times of crisis. I'm not sure what they do for our local community but from talking to folks, It isn't much if at all. They are quick to ask for financial assistance, call if they need the neighboring area cleaned up but when asked to help the marginalized community, crickets. I have happily moved on from them and my current and future pets will thrive elsewhere. Peace out.

We would like to send out a very heartfelt thank you to the staff and especially Dr.Alex for the professionalism, care and compassion that was given to our Lucas in his final moments with us. Because of them they made our decision so much easier for us and we left there knowing we did the right thing. Also thank you to Lucas's regular vet Dr. Matt for the wonderful care he gave to Lucas and to our current dogs Sophie, Lilly and Stanley. In our opinion the care that's given to our animals is second to none.

Vet was rude and didnt like what I had to say.......and then charged almost 60.00 for an antibiotic injection for a Uti on a 12 pound cat... If I knew the injection cost $60, Would have opted for the pills!

Experiencia negativa: Took our cat for an appointment and a nail clipping. Cat can be dramatic so she did need to be put under for the nail clipping. It’s a Wednesday we said we’d be back after work to pick her up, when we went to pick her up she was shoved in her little carrier with a pee pad and a couple turds, yes you read that right turds in her carrier with her, as if they hadn’t checked on her in hours. They didn’t even have the decency or wherewithal to check on her before we got her back. The lady even said as she awkwardly handed her back “she’s been in there a while make sure you take her right to the litter box when you get home”. I was very disappointed at that level of service, to trust them with our pet thinking they’d take good care of her and for her to be treated like that is unacceptable. Stuck in her carrier with a pee pad and poop, that no way to treat an animal. I have noticed customer service has been lacking but this lack of empathy shown to our pet is the icing on the cake and we will be finding a new vet.

Experiencia negativa: I tried to call to get an appointment, I was asking about cost, I like to know since I would be paying cash not using a card, the woman would not disclose she was a little condesending when I told her i did not want a certain test I ended up ending the call, have heard great things about this place and it waa much closer than my current vet, but I prefer places that are transparent.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff here are truly some of the most compassionate people I have ever encountered. My dog has had some health issues recently and they have been nothing short of amazing. Dr. Claire stayed on the phone with me for about 20 minutes trying to calm me down about my dogs possible diagnosis. The staff goes above and beyond for both the pets and their parents and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Experiencia negativa: If you care about your pet, do not come here. I hope this can keep at least one other pet and their owner from suffering. This is detailed because they denied all phone and in-person discussions even occurred. Imagine your doctor not documenting important symptoms and diagnosis and shirking responsibility for any outcome. Tremont does this. If you must go here, make sure everything is documented. My dog was a patient at Tremont for years. On January 19, 2023, at a regular appointment, I told them I was concerned he had been coughing and gagging. Dr Sara diagnosed him with a collapsing trachea. She said she could prove it by triggering symptoms and pressed on his neck making him cough and gag. It was the same effect. She offered no other diagnosis or options and I trusted the expert diagnosis. I had appointments at Tremont in March and May where I expressed concern about his collapsing trachea and how it seemed bad. I was assured it is just something that happens with some dogs as they age. No further dianosis offered at any of these appointments. I spent my own inexpert time researching the collapsing trachea and asked about a prescription to help him over email mid-July. I got a response saying they do not typically prescribe that and he would need further testing to do so. In his next appointment on September 6, I brought it up again and that it’s happening much more often and that I was worried he would suffocate. I was told he would be ok because he wasn’t a small dog so his airway would reopen after he coughed. This happened at another appointment September 26 where I was again reassured that I shouldn’t be worried. Again, no further dianosis offered at either appointment. I contacted Great Lakes VCA myself and got an appointment with a specialist in mid-October. Unfortunately, by then it was too late. Note that a good primary vet will provide a referral for you to get in more quickly. Tremont did nothing. On October 3rd I called MedVet who has an ER. They said he should see their specialist and that he could get in with a referral from my vet right away instead of in 2 weeks by going to their ER. I asked Tremont for the referral but instead if helping, they said I didn’t need a referral. By October 5th my dog was lethargic and Tremont saw him again Friday October 6th where, for the first time, they followed through with further diagnosis. A simple xray showed he now had late stage lung cancer. They finally referred me to the specialist at MedVet where he was immediately put in the oxygen chamber. At that point, I was informed the specialist is not in on Fridays. I could either start him on end-of-life care and take him home with me for hopefully another month, or leave him in the oxygen chamber for $20,000 over the weekend to find out on Monday if there were treatment options. It was very clear it was too late for that. He couldn’t even come out of the oxygen chamber. MedVet gave him his palliative care fluids and two weeks of prescription. I had to go back to Tremont to continue his prescription. They again caused him pain by lowering the prescription, which put him back in the ER at MedVet where they didn’t understand why Tremont lowered the already low-dose prescription, especially during hospice care. I was able to get the increased dose again but he went downhill after that. Fortunately, we did not have to go back to Tremont as he got into a new patient visit at a good vet in North Ridgeville where on his first visit they had to declare it was his time. He was put down the next day. Tremont documented every one of my inquiries about his breathing problems under “Consultation”. There was no continuity of care given by Tremont. I hate that I trusted them. Please take your pet elsewhere, you both deserve better.

They are very responsive and ensure the treatment plan is working well. I’ve had multiple moves and different vets. This has been one of the few that follow up.

Experiencia negativa: My cat had his first appointment and I was surprised that the vet spent such little time with him and was very very young and seemed almost nervous or not ver confident. I should have done more research on which doctor to have him seen by. I’m really looking for a vet who connects with animals and who shows more interest. I also thought the checking out process was very strange. I went to pay at the counter and was rudely told to sit down and that they were busy dispensing medicine. I sat for over 10 minutes just waiting to pay. There wasn’t a line or anything. Oh well. I’m glad my cat is healthy because my first impression wasn’t great and I’d be worried about their capabilities outside of vaccinations. The place seems vey clean though and the parking is good. ‍♀️

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is really friendly and helpful. I took my dog Bruno in today for his appointment. Everything went really well with him getting his vaccines, and his veterinarian was really nice and helpful, giving advice tips on how to help my dog with separation anxiety.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog has been a patient of this clinic her entire life. She is 12 years old and has had ACL repair surgery on both of her rear legs in recent years courtesy of Dr. Matt, who is an amazing veterinarian. I plan on maintaining a relationship with Dr. Matt and this clinic as long as I own animals. EDIT: I forgot to add that Laela, who had the aforementioned ACL surgery on both of her rear legs (2022 and 2023) is doing amazingly well and is more mobile than ever. She runs and jumps around like she's half her age. The results of this surgery by Dr. Matt and team have been truly amazing and added literal years to her happy and active life.

Today it didn’t matter he would not let anyone even touch him. Dr. Katie and her assistant (I am sorry I didn’t get her name) showed me so much empathy and didn’t give up when my dog was relentlessly trying to turn and snap. When I was a wreck due to how he was acting they even comforted me. I really appreciate them, not giving up on him taking an extra hour and a half to get the things done that he needed to get done. We then set up a plan for next time he comes in. I so much appreciate you both. Thank you. Love this vet.

I’m very impressed with the way he examines my pets. He’s thorough, gentle and kind. The clinic is also less expensive than other clinics in the Cleveland area.

Experiencia fantástica: Having previously worked in the veterinary industry for 14 years, I know how things should operate. Tremont animal hospital is doing things right. First and foremost, you won’t find a more reasonably priced clinic in Cleveland. Each employee I have encountered has been warm and professional. They do everything they can to get your sick pet seen as fast as they can. And, they have not sold out to a corporation and remain privately owned which is VERY important in this industry. Very few privately owned clinics remain in Cleveland. I’ve been to a couple other practices in town and have not received the quality of care and kindness that we receive at Tremont. 110% recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Huge place, but on time anyway. Doesn't take walk-ins. Can be a 3 week wait. Doctors and assistants seem excellent. I will be coming back. I like that they have large rooms without carpet, CLEAN. Recommended to me by an emergency vet. Much better than other vets. Try them.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time here. I had to bring in one of the kittens I'm fostering. Had Dr. Katie, she immediately put me at ease. Went over everything and even suggested waiting till Gabby got bigger before doing the distemper and feline lukemenia tests . She gave her an antibiotic shot and fluids. This is the first time I left a vet office and not felt robbed, prices were reasonable and no undue tests were performed. Will definitely use them in the future.

Experiencia negativa: Be warned: calling in as a new patient/client you are "greeted" with an automated message and a laundry-list of their "policies" and told to leave a message wherein you will get a call back within 48 hours. Not very encouraging.

Experiencia negativa: Lost a years long relationship over $30. They do not value customer loyalty and will try to get every penny out of you that they can. Do yourself a favor and find another vet. *Update* It was NOT discussed at checkout, that is a lie. It was not discussed at all, that was part of the problem. I had to come back after I noticed the higher charge on my receipt. It became escalated after I weighed my dog on your scale and saw he came in at what he normally does. You took us in back to weigh him, and after he again came in at what he does, you said he still needed to settle and pressed down on him till the scale went up by .4 and you said, there we go. You then tried to gaslight me, saying how unfair that was, but you have lied two times in your response, showing your true colors. The second lie is trying to downplay how long we have been coming there, saying one year, when it has been multiple. After telling you that I was never coming back, you called me to continue and try to gaslight me and told me It would be best if I found a new vet. Again, I had told you many times that I had no plans on coming back, but you were not going to get off that phone until you were right. What business owner does this? Read their responses to every negative review. They have to be right.

Experiencia positiva: It comes with a heavy heart but I will be removing my review of Tremont Animal Clinic I posted 2 years ago with 48 views. I loved this place for my pets (2 cats) even referred them to friends and family. Unfortunately times are getting hard and tight due to inflation and economical distress. I made appointments for both cats with a total service charge between $300 and $400 if not more. In the past I paid with cash. But due to hard times I applied for CareCredit to use for their medical care. Unfortunately my credit score didn't grant me a Visa logo, but approved me for a line of medical credit. Tremont Animal Clinic DOES accept CareCredit but ONLY with the logo. Therefore my cats were NOT serviced. Shame on you. How dare you turn down ANY form of payment from ANY pet parent. In these times where people debate putting gas in their cars and groceries. If you accept CareCredit cards as a form of payment, then it should be accepted rather it has a logo or not. This is Profiling Customers and I'm starting to wonder if a logo matter from the 1st place.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything about this place is so much further above every other vet I've ever been to. First the doctors: they are kind, compassionate, thorough, loving and knowledgeable. They allow you to call the shots and they don't try to upsell you on a bunch of tests or treatment when it's not necessary. The rest of the staff is so friendly and kind from the vet techs, to the front desk, and even the answered texts. The communication at this office is out of this world!!! In a day and age when you can't get anyone to answer your call or they're from another country, this place gets it right 1000%! A special thank you to the owner who personally put down my beloved dog last week. Everything from beginning to end was very compassionate and efficient. Even to paying for it.

Experiencia negativa: Very negative experience. I have felt that there was a lack of compassion on both of my visits. Everyone truly seemed annoyed by the presence my dog. Both vet techs didn't even acknowledge my dog, and I felt talked down to each time. There was truly a lack of professionalism- very disappointing. Felt welcomed by other patrons at the clinic, but not at all by the staff. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone. Edit: Not only did I restrain my dog at their requests and place a muzzle on HER. But my dog never once lunged at staff or attempted to bite anyone. And there was absolutely NO ATTEMPT BY STAFF TO ACCOMMODATE ANY REQUESTS WHAT SO EVER since I asked them to simply acknowledge her. But once again no one even looked at my dog. So I am not sure where this information is coming from.

Experiencia fantástica: Our cat had her first visit here last week. We used to go to a clinic in Lakewood, but they’re under new management now and things just haven’t been the same. Quick service and didn’t wait long in the lobby. Our vet tech was very friendly. Dr. Kelley was very knowledgeable and kind. Our cat needed blood work and both vet techs and Dr. Kelley were so gentle and used soothing voices to keep our kitty calm while drawing the blood. Dr. Kelley called me the next day with the results and happily answered all my questions. I can’t remember the last time the ACTUAL DOCTOR called with the results. So impressed and happy we switched to this animal clinic.

The only thing I do not care for was when they went to take the blood they took the dogs in the back room and I was not allowed to be present. Since my dogs are like children and I do not allow my kids to be removed when test are performed I was uneasy about this. That's sounds Great thank you for your reply.

Every issue I have brought to them with my pitbull, they can easily diagnose it (sometimes via email) and give me the solution to remedy it. Drs. Nicholl, Dr. Alex, and Dory are such wonderful veterinarian professionals and are so tolerant of my hyper-licking, clingy boy and so in love with my biscuit-making, purring cat. I cannot imagine putting my dog and cat (and all future animals) in better hands than Tremont Clinic. Tucker and Honeybee love you all so much! The clinic's text feature on their app has come in handy. I was able to text them immediately when Tucker got injured, and they advised me on how to proceed and when to schedule an appointment with them based on symptoms.

We were so worried when we had to bring our boy Stewie for care as we trouble even getting him inside the building due to his stress of going to the vet. This clinic and its staff are so caring, patient and excellent with communication. Dr Matt took time to call us back every step of the way before during and after the process. And a big thanks to Alice at the front desk for being so kind and compassionate. I can’t tell how much we appreciate everything you do for our fur babies! Highly recommend this clinic. Experiencia negativa: STAY AWAY! I took my 13 y.o. cat, Del, for pre dental bloodwork which was required even though he had bloodwork done at his checkup in May 2023. Vet assistants took him in the back and brought him out in a few minutes. Said they could not do it due to Del being difficult/uncooperative. I asked if I could come back and assist as I was confident I could keep him calm. Told them I had taken off work for this and really wanted to get it done etc. They said no, he would have to come back tranquilized, and they didn't want to cause him distress. Also said he should get ANOTHER check up in addition to the blood work prior to the dental. No regard for my time, the stress of putting him in the carrier, the drive, or the prolonged dental discomfort. Vet never came out to talk to me, just the assistants. Cat has never, in 13 years, had an issue at the vet. In addition to being unable to draw blood from a 13 y.o. cat, it seems like they are trying to get every penny they can out of pet owners. Stay away!

Experiencia negativa: Took my cat here for routine vet care for quite some time and was able to utilize their text line for questions/concerns. However, in person, they refused to let me in the exam room with my pet, then deemed him “too spicy” and gave me sedation meds for all of his appointments. I obliged and gave him the meds accordingly for future visits. While taking him here for routine vet care, he was put under (injection) sedation multiple times. Luckily there were no complications. After a costly emergency vet hospital visit (not done at TAC) his medical care got to be uncontrollably expensive. I am employed and make decent money, but this facility is not sensitive to folks of all socioeconomic situations. On the other hand, Cleveland Animal Protective League allowed me in the room during the entire visit, and heavy sedation was not required. Still gave him the gabapentin prior to the appointment and he was vocal, but the APL was so kind and patient with my pet. I could tell they cared. Maybe Tremont Animal Clinic can learn some things? All in all, I think Tremont Animal Clinic did the best with what they had. Always nice and good customer service. Edit: After thinking back on my experience with TAC, I am absolutely disgusted at the way they conduct care to their patients. Posing as a reputable vet clinic, and delivering unacceptable care, is what makes me sick when I think about Tremont Animal Clinic. Looking back, I should have realized something was suspicious about the fact that they would not allow me in the room with my beloved pet. His terrified screams and cries are etched in my brain forever. He was helpless. And as his caregiver, I deeply regret not voicing concern for him in his most vulnerable state. When I first adopted my guy, he was unfamiliar with me. Rightfully so. He had symptoms of an upper respiratory infection and I just wanted treatment for him. So I took him in. They were not able to swab him or do blood work without heavy sedation, due to his temperament. And considering heavy sedation was not an easy decision. So we did multiple rounds of antibiotics hoping his symptoms would go away. Come to find out, he is FIV+. This was not on my radar at all, so it was devastating news. The doctor(s) he saw recommended assisting his immune system with Immuquin supplements. I incorporated this into his routine. Then, when I note that “this facility is not sensitive to folks of all socioeconomic situations” I am not expecting hand outs or free vet care at all. But if you see that an owner brings their pet in regularly and will spend the time and money they have on their pet, why not offer accommodations when times are tough? No sort of payment plan or anything? Just an insensitive way to conduct business. I’ve taken my pet elsewhere once this was the case. On top of that, one of my pets very first visits, he was let out of his carrier the same way he was put in. Thru the hinged door. (I know better now) but of course he roamed the room attempting to understand his surroundings and when one of the techs came in and tried to contain him, she grabbed his collar. How uneducated in animal handling can you be? It was a breakaway collar, so he was unharmed, but everyone who’s ever owned a pet knows not to do that, to contain them. You grab their body. Just the cherry on the cake, looking back. I should’ve known then…. Nonetheless. I’ll be sure to add more if I happen to feel strong enough to share.

Experiencia fantástica: The doctors, techs and staff at Tremont Animal Clinic are an amazing team! I couldn't say enough wonderful things about them and the loving care they have given our pets. From helping us with convenient and proactive options/pain management for our english bull dog that was going through end of life stages, to working with our schedule to get our new puppy up to date on shots with ease and efficiency, to getting us in to be seen within an hour of placing a phone call to get an emergency appointment for our cat. They go above & beyond, the prices are fair and honest. Always greet you with a smile, everyone is full of professionalism and we have never felt rushed in the exam rooms, which by the way the exam rooms are always SO clean. If you are looking for a vet or do not feel secure with your current vet, my family and I highly recommend TAC.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking care of my nephews dog for about five weeks now. Since she was a puppy, she has had terrible time with her ears. She is an American bully. I took her to Doctor Shreck. He is a real vet, very compassionate, and he even got down on the floor with the dog who is afraid of men. In a matter of minutes, he won her trust. I cannot speak enough about this veterinary experience.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible place. They do not care about animals. After surgery my dog was returned to me covered in feces and her hair tied back so tight she couldn’t blink. They DO NOT CARE about the animals at their clinic. They wouldn’t send me home with preventative then they wanted to charge me for an appointment the came up because my dog was not on preventative. The ladies on the phone do not listen. They do not care about dogs. I have a little one and would never trust this place to care for my animal ever again they completely disregarded anything I said and continued to blame me for everything. So sad so see how they treat animals. Borderline abusive!!!!

It is hard to lose a pet but Tremont Animal Clinic staff made it so that we left feeling comforted and at peace because her passing was so peaceful. They honored her and grieved with us. I have been to multiple vets for the same issue with my Bernese Mountain Dog and Dr. Keller was incredible with her, taking so much time to create a care plan and make me and my pup feel at ease. I highly recommend this place for all the pet parents out there!

Experiencia fantástica: As a first time dog owner I was not sure what vet to take our new puppy too. After reading some of the reviews I decided to go with TAC. Dr. Sutherland and the staff their are excellent! They have taken excellent care of my girl Pechuga since she was 8 weeks old. They know her by name and she is excited to see everyone when we go. Dr Sutherland throughly answers all my questions. If you are looking for a compassionate vet that are experts at what they do take you animals here.
