Fantastic experience: The staff made everything about me and my buddy Mez during his journey across the rainbow bridge. He will surely be missed by a lot of friends and family, but he is in a better place now and I cannot thank the staff enough.

Positive experience: I would recommend to anyone struggling and unable to pay for their pets care. They treat my 105 lb big baby well. If it wasn't for this place I couldn't afford to keep him healthy. I am incredibly grateful for Pets in Need. He's 9 years old now and because of them I still have some great yrs ahead of us.

Negative experience: I have been waiting on a return call from the practice manager for a month. I have called 5 times and she has yet to return my call. I have even left voicemails on her phone directly. It’s ridiculous to me that someone would be a month behind on phone calls, that suggests to me that somebody is not doing their job the way they should be. At this point I want to speak to whomever is above everyone in this facility. The black lady always got an attitude like she hates being there, I don’t know which white lady it was but when I brought my dog in the second time she was vaping at the front desk. They change policies often and without letting existing dog parents know. Which is why I am still waiting on a call back to this day. I had to pay upfront to get my dog scheduled initially, and my nephpup is also on my profile as myself and mom are splitting the responsibility for him, and these folks want to charge me to schedule both dogs on the same day and the practice manager isnt doing anything to inform me on when this policy took place and how that makes any sense. So since she can’t or is choosing not to tell me I’m going to look into who I can speak to above the practice employees regarding the concerns I have.

Fantastic experience: “I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and care you gave my dog “Fiona”. Your professionalism and tenderness made her final moments all the sweeter. I was also deeply moved by the condolence card you sent me amd her paws prints , It was a thoughtful gesture that eased my pain. May God bless you for being the hands and hearts of our furry friends.”

Ronnaisha Moody Posted on Google 9 months ago

Negative experience: If I could leave zero stars I would I don’t get the whole concept of they can’t take your pet if the pet isn’t already a patient. Nobody knows when something might happen and the pet needs surgery or any care and they’re supposed to be low income so a lot of people get referred to them but can’t get treatment because they’re not already a patient so question is how do they become a patient because they say call to become a new patient but then turn around and say they can’t take pets that aren’t already a patient.

Christine Allbright Posted on Google 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: The staff are all very compassionate and caring. Even though our sweet boy transitioned there it's a really good place. Despite being a low income based provider you're treated with dignity and respect. I highly recommend this office and all services offered. You don't have to be afraid to take care of your babies due to income. I'll be forever grateful for places like this. Thank you dearly Pets In NEED of Greater Cincinnati

Fantastic experience: First time there I am so impressed. Such great care for my cat wonderful doctor and her assistant. The people that work there are very nice.

Ashley Alexander Posted on Google 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: Pets in Need is amazing. The staff is super kind and helpful. They’ve taken care of everything we’ve needed. When we had to make the decision to euthanize our cat they were the most sympathetic and caring people ever. They got us an appointment right away to see her and walked us through every step. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to take care of our fur babies.

Negative experience: I called about my 4 month old kitten, and the lady who answered asked me what was going on with my kitten. When I explained everything, her whole demeanor changed, and she said, 'Unfortunately, they weren't taking new clients.' She told me to take her to a pet hospital. I said, 'What don't you understand?' I explained that I called them because my vet is not open until Thursday, and this is where I got recommended because they cater to low-income individuals. I told her I'm about to undergo extensive brain surgery and I got a kitten as a gift. She said, 'I'm sorry,' and suggested I try an animal hospital. I said, 'Oh my gosh, are you not listening? This kitten needs to be seen now. She's lethargic, has goop running from her eyes and nose, and had her vaccinations recently. I'm not sure what's going on, so yeah, I can't afford a pet hospital bill that will cost thousands.' She said, 'Yeah, sorry, I'm not taking new clients,' and kept talking about animal hospitals. I said, 'You know what, just forget it.' I'm shocked a clinic would let a kitten die. Obviously, this clinic don’t care. Just to let people know, if you have an emergency with your cat or whatever animal, even if you've been a client there, they said that they don't take care of emergency situations, even though you're supposed to be a veterinarian clinic ?! 10/10 do NOT RECOMMEND!

We’re truly sorry to hear about the experience you had and we understand how upsetting and overwhelming it is, and we regret that we weren’t able to provide the support you needed.
As a small non-profit clinic operating with limited staff and resources, we unfortunately are not equipped to handle emergencies or urgent walk-in cases, and we are often fully booked weeks in advance. We recognize how frustrating this can be, especially when you are trying to get help for a sick pet.
We do our best to get new clients in whenever possible and deeply wish we had the capacity to say yes to every call that comes in. When we can’t, we try to direct people toward emergency services because we truly want pets to receive the timely care they need, even if it’s not from us.
Wishing the best for you and your kitten.

Sweet Potato Posted on Google 11 months ago

Positive experience: Price is great, service is ok. The problem is it takes 3-4 weeks to get an appointment even if you’re a returning patient and your animal is sick, while other vets will prioritize returning patients and see them immediately or within a day if they’re sick. But if you’re a patient here and you’re animal ever gets sick and needs an appointment soon then you’ll have to take your pet to an ER or urgent care and spend a ton more than what any regular vet will charge. Basically it’s cheap for basic care like shots but the important time sensitive stuff will cost you way more because you’ll be forced to go an ER/urgent care, so it defeats the whole purpose of “Pets in Need” if they can’t get vet service here when they are actually in NEED.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful people and they take great care of the animals.

Nancy Gregory Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my pets here for a few years and have always been impressed with the staff, vet techs and vets. They bring such warmth to every visit, with a dedication that is unique in today's world. When our beloved Franky passed away, they handled every detail with the utmost respect and care, it was beyond anything we have ever experienced. I will always be grateful to PIN.

Lynn TCB Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: They say they help the homeless, but then they charge you $45 office fee over the phone before your appointment and they also charge you for everything your pet needs..... A homeless, 200% poverty or low income pet owner is unable to get help for their sick pet. I had to have my pet euthanized because I couldn't afford vet care! This place gets donations thats supposed to help low income and homeless pets!; they got $500,000.00 donated to them! Yet poor pets are suffering and dying! Nice!

Positive experience: Took excellent care of my mini dachshunds. My oldest female is 21 yrs old. Her baby sister Lil bit aka Coco Chanel is going to be 4 months old in about 5 days. The entire staff at Pets in Need is amazing. Dr Abrams is my favorite ❣️

Negative experience: I made a comment regarding the people at Pets In Need being rude and not answering calls or emails. This was a couple wks ago. They blocked me!! Won’t return my calls/emails or anything. Didn’t even TRY to console or attempt to fix the issues I had. Jennifer was very rude to my friend too! I asked about the girls that used to work there and got no response!! Pets In Need is diminishing quickly! I’ve been told that surgery patients are even leaving the facility still heavily drugged with feces on them! Horrible!! What Dr does this!? How do you plan to respond or fix this issue??

Deanna Banana Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: Do not recommend. They do not have any different prices for sterilization than UCAN.. they make you jump thru hoops to get service discounted … they brought my dog out to me semi conscious and had feces all over her fur.

mclaine thomas Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: My dog is a diabetic and his insolent is twenty five dollars cheaper at pets in need.

Jennifer Richey Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Love this clinic we just moved here and we had an emergency with my dog and they got her in same day and they were very informative and caring they treated my girl and the price was amazing this clinic is truly a blessing

Sydney Bolden Posted on Google 1 year ago

Positive experience: I have taken my dogs to pets in need now for five years and they have been very affordable for my budget . My dogs are dash and Mercedes and Dash is sick in his body and pets in need have treated him now for five years straight and they have given him very good help. The medicine And the vet billis way cheaper than any other veterinarian out there. And trust me I’ve been to Grady I’ve been to Noah’s Ark, and both of them were Hella expensive. I’m pretty satisfied with my services at Pets.

James Patterson Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I take my dog here. They provide a great service and the refills on the flea and heartworm medication is very affordable. Thanks.

Negative experience: This is an update for Pets In Need when I did a review you replied that the one person who schedules surgeries did call my back lies lies lies so I contacted the Ohio state veterinary licensing board with documentation no phone calls were ever returned showed all of my phone call logs....Next they just informed me that they have already been investigating Pets In Need from several complaints so I am going to take this further you will have a new person and making an appointment for their doggie they will record you and document everything as this pet needs surgery then I will post it all over social media the results so that the State of Ohio will have further documentation and others in Cincinnati will know how incompetent your staff truly are....God does not like liars so keep it up you will all soon be exposed as I am a retired attorney who brought my doggie for services in October that needs surgery and now suffering due to your negligence took him to another Vet to make sure is out of pain after you gave him antibiotics with zero follow up for further care.....

Fantastic experience: I am impressed and grateful for this great Vet office that supports the community for those that don't have a lot of income. They are still able to great care for the fur babies without having to fork out a fortune. There is even a space to donate clean unused pet items for those that may need them. The pets get great care and the pet owners get help without worrying about high prices.

Brea R Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I’m not sure where these negative reviews on communication are coming from. Maybe they aren’t calling within the business hours? I’ve called twice now, only bc the first time I was just trying to gather information on what I needed, what to expect and how to do it. Both times I called at times I would think would possibly be “lunch time” simply bc I am as well on lunch. But no problems answered right away. Set me up! I was shocked I mean SHOCKED to hear that my bae could be seen this week! I haven’t actually walked through those doors yet but off to a very positive start !!!

Nic Bonham Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: This place is an absolute joke my dog had an ear infection and they wouldn't even treat him because I didn't want to neuter him they said it's because of testicular cancer risk when he has no signs whatsoever of anything being wrong with his balls we was there for an ear infection and all because I didn't want to neuter my dog they turned us away refused us services and did not want to offer a cash refund even though I paid cash place is terrible better off going to a normal vet you're going to pay those prices anyways

JCombs_03 Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Low income veterinarian office. Staff is friendly and courteous. Definitely care about the Fur babies and Pet parents. So if you're on a budget this is the Vet for you.

D King Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I have been trying for weeks to get my pet registered for care and no one ever calls back. One lady called back, returning my call then I returned hers at the same day and she never called back. My dog needs care and I cannot afford to pay the outrageous prices vets charge. When I did go there in 2020 the staff was horrendous and rude and act like you’re inconveniencing them. Obviously that still is a thing there. Don’t be a fooled-they are paid and paid well. The vets are always sweet as can be and don’t act like that.

Dan Eisele Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Great services. They require you to prepay for some things. I applied this practice because they are extremely good pricing and people

Patrice Marshall (Pudd'n) Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: They made our nervous dog very comfortable on her 1st visit.

Philip Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: This place is great. The people there were very helpful and kind not only to my cat but to me, I have a sensory disability. I can definitely afford to keep my cat healthy now.

Dina D Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: Just called here trying to set up an appointment They said I can pay $45 and make an appointment The first available appointment in two weeeks I said I want to do bloodwork , she said you can’t if you are not a client. I agreed to be a client She said we can’t take you because you have another vet . I said I don’t have another vet. She asked where do you get vaccines, I said I did vaccinate at UCAN clinic where I spay/neutered my cat. Later on she said we don’t accept new client I said you just was saying you can take cats in two weeks She just drop the phone This is unacceptable rude!!! Discrimination!! I will not leave this like this

Elizabeth Kelecha Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: In the web sight there is no need credit card charges for the registration. But they charge credit card as soon as you register and when you cancel it is hard to get your money back. You call them and they will transfer you to the financial manager you left messages. If you missed the call back you have to call again to wait call back. There is more things to to get your money back.

Pets In Need of Greater Cincinnati
Pets In Need of Greater Cincinnati

We do not charge anything for registration or enrollment. There is a prepayment of $45.00 due at the time of scheduling that covers your pet's first exam. This is the charge you are referring to. You decided to cancel your first appointment with Pets In Need and sent the Practice Manager a message to return your call for the credit on 7/29. The Practice Manager contacted you back on 8/1 and left you a message asking you to contact her back to credit your credit card. Again, a phone call to credit you back was made on 8/14. You did answer but stated you were outside with the kids and couldn't get to the credit card. The Practice Manager asked you to contact her back again when you have your credit card available. Instead, we received this review.

Daphne Godfrey Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I was told the office visit would be $25. But then they took a little blood from him and gave him an antibiotic for a month which was supposed to be discounted, that was a lie. I had to pay $84.70. They are supposed to be a discounted vet service for low income people, maybe I'm wrong but that's not a very good discount especially for people like me who are under the poverty level and I have a job.

Alicia Kunkle Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I called on a referral from another vet for a possibly lower price. The lady who answered was cold and attitude was awful. She informed me they were booked until sept for surgeries. I let her know what it was and she was like “eh yeah they won’t do that here” no compassion. Wasn’t pleasant. By the sounds of the other reviews you need better front desk employees.

Charity Smallwood Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much for all your help. I was treated with respect, and my dog was treated with care. They help a lot of people every day .I love the vet he is kind and really cares about animals. UPDATE I have been taking my dog here for 8 years now the staff are wonderful with him he is a bully so many people and places don't like him from just his looks Thank you Dr Black! I got the answers I needed for my dog!

LaBresha Johnson Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: They made me feel so comfortable leaving my pets in their care at an affordable rate

Chuck Hamilton Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: The lady with short hair, who sits to the left when you walk in, who answers the telephone could not be more rude if she tried. This is a place people are emotional, bringing in our (sometimes very) sick pets. The last thing people need is to deal with her nasty attitude for no reason. If she hates her job, she should find another. No need to treat clients so distastefully.

Inhale Exhale Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Best place ever. You have a whole group of individuals that pour their heart out to help your fur babies. Makes me wonder why more locations have not been opened! Amazing people who actually love what they do! Thank you always for your help!!✨

Fantastic experience: A Paw-sitively Wonderful Experience! Pets in Need has truly become my go-to vet clinic, and for good reason! From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with warm smiles and a genuine love for animals by the amazing front end staff. The veterinarians are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about the well-being of your furry friend. They take the time to address any concerns you have, no matter how big or small, and explain everything in a clear and understandable way. Scheduling is quick and easy, and they try to accommodate last-minute needs. Whether it's a routine checkup or a more serious issue, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pets in Need to anyone looking for a compassionate, caring, and affordable vet clinic.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff they care about your pets and I can't thank them enough

Anthony Edwards Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: Feline unfriendly. The most callous and uncaring experience that I have ever had when seeking help for an ailing cat. The most for profit nonprofit veterinarian I have ever seen.

Shellie Davis Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, great customer service. They always greet me and help carry heavy items to the car. I only shop for my kitty's here.

Michael Carraher Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Seriously one of the nicest staff at a vet I've ever dealt with, so caring and gentle with my old dog. The care your animals will receive is top tier. Very very affordable for all services.

They made the process of letting my fur baby go much easier.I will hands down be back with my other fur babes . Thank you to all the Staff for being so amazing today will forever be grateful

David Hawthorne Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: Pet owners are not treated with respect and dignity. Charge $130 for "$45" appointment... No longer referring people to this organization.

Allison Campbell Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: We brought our 2 dogs here for there shots and everyone here was just so nice. What they do for the community and our animals is amazing!

Fawn James Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: My husband took one of our dogs there for her first appointment on Tuesday and even though she needed 3 prescriptions it was all less than $150. Had that been a vet that charged regular prices the would have paid upwards of $300 or more for everything. I would definitely recommend Pets in Need.

Miz KiddTheGoddess W. Posted on Google 2 years ago

Positive experience: I am confused as to how I waited all day for a call to pick up our baby. Than Smacked with a 50$ LATE FEE. I HAD TO CALL AND FEEL ALL STALKER-ISH about my BABY?!?! I'm so disappointed that happened. On top of the repeat surgeries after the fact NOW I AM STUCK WITH A LATE FEE THAT I DO NOT FEEL WARRANTED. And Yes I left message nobody bothered to respond. Truly heartbreaking.

Valerie Hoard Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: How dare they be named "Pets in need", supposedly lower cost but you have to pay $45 to even be put on the schedule?! They shouldn't have that name. It's misleading, to say the least. Thanks for nothing!

Erika Gaul Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: My best buddy was taken care of. I'm on a very tight budget. I greatly appreciate them working with me on what needed to be done / bought and what I wanted to be done. Prices are VERY reasonable. Staff is friendly and caring.

Hello Kitty Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!! I took my cats here for years and in the beginning they were great but they switched staff and the new staff is rude! The African American woman with the silly pink hair is one of the rudest, nastiest most unfriendly people I've ever met!! I stopped taking my cats there when they almost caused ones death! I had a very sick cat so I scheduled an appointment and when it came I was there 20 min early and they decided to see the woman who came in LATE for shots versus my cat who was actively dying (I had no idea). The woman I spoke of was so unprofessional and rude to me knowing I was upset, zero compassion! When I walked in she was playing on her phone and ignored me until i said something and then she just laid a clipboard down with zero instructions. I finally was taken back 2 hrs later and they told me I need to rush to the animal hospital but of course they needed payment so the nurse took my card so I didn't have to deal with the rude staff (I was hysterical at this point crying and told them how nasty the staff was) so I didn't check my bill until I got to gradys. I noticed they charged me for flea meds I didn't ask for our receive so I began calling and leaving messages for the office manager who refused to call me back. I left messages asking to talk about her staff and how I was treated and still nothing. I decided to call on my break and she happened to answer and lied about receiving any messages but quickly told on herself when I brought up her staff (2 weeks of messages were left mind you) and then she very rudely told me she doesn't care and that she sides with her staff (despite all the negative reviews) she then told me the extra charge was because they "forgot" to charge me 6 mos to which was a lie (I keep all receipts and pay on the way out) so after arguing with her she told me she would refund me and that she didn't care if they lose customers but never refunded me so I disputed the charges with my bank and won! Gradys was absolutely great and they saved my cats life so they are my new provider! If you can't afford to take care of your pets I get it and I understand but this place will not give them proper care and there is zero reason anyone should be rude and nasty while working in this field and especially if your pet is in distress!! That lady needs to be fired!!!

Corina Cummings Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: The folks here are absolutely incredible! The vet techs and doctors are very compassionate and thorough. This vet office is a great blessing to pets who are in need and the people parents who love them. I'm so grateful forever and ever to the wonderful people out there who give their love through donations and grants that make this establishment possible! And my kitty Batman loves you, too! ❤️ If anyone needs a great vet that will help restore and maintain your pet's health, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

Fantastic experience: Really grateful for staff at PIN. I had taken my dog to a different vet for exam and shots. Told she was good. But after exam blood work and biopsy, she was diagnosed with lymphoma. She is on treatment plan and doing well. Thank you PIN

Kristen Seger Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: As I thought this was an awesome program. One that allows pets in a low-income situation to still receive proper care. I originally completed the application you can download off their website then it was submitted through email. I didn't receive any response it wasn't until I kept emailing to whom it may concern that I received a vague response that my application was accepted. It was not very detailed. So I had to follow up with a phone call to obtain info such as how much would the services actually be? Also how do I establish an appointment? The receptionist was very rude by acting as if I should already know had I been a non-sociable person I would of hung up or been very upset. I was bothered by her enough to ask to speak with another representative. I has to then leave a message. Its been 3 weeks still no response!

Fantastic experience: This is such an amazing resource!! We would have had to rehome at least one of our two dogs if it weren’t for them. The staff is friendly, the vets are thorough, and the vaccine prices can’t be beat! Thank you so much for existing!!! Harvey and Albus thank you too!

Negative experience: The management team actual sucks and they are so RUDE. I was hung up on because they didn’t want to admit a mess up on their part with my paper work. There was a manager and a lady at the front desk who were really nasty and wouldn’t let me say a damn word. Constant disrespect all over missed paperwork and adding a pet. She admitted she hung up on me on purpose in front of everyone there and her reasoning was because I kept talking. Like I’m explaining what I was confused on like what is wrong with people. Won’t be going there again. All the people I recommended , just don’t..

Negative experience: I could and should write a book. From failed proper preparation for surgery (wasn’t given premedical instructions) that lead to my pup possibly having cancer spread…. To canceling appointments with no notice and being turned away at the door to being unorganized between docs and giving different information time and time again, to then verbally abused and met with abrasive harsh behavior from a doctor who’s recommendation for me was to take my dog “somewhere else” as I’m coping with a harsh decision to put him to sleep. No compassion here, no real love or concern for pets or their families involved. I should have known when my pet was neglected by not being told to given him meds before surgery that can prevent cancer spreading I should have ran far away then. Or the ideal of a professional performing surgery before even testing to see what the trauma diagnosis was. Shame shame shame on these people claiming to be helping “pets in need”. I advise them to seek a business advisor or alot more vulnerable people that may not have voices fall victim again and again. Btw, thanks for never calling to check on my complaint or concerns. The board will hear from me. This is not over

Negative experience: The lady behind the desk was extremely rude and didn’t really seem to care about my questions or pets or concerns or anything. They ignore you so you’ll walk away without them having to work or anything.

Courtney B Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: I don’t know if everyone is just over worked and under paid, but I haven’t had a pleasant experience at any of my 3 visits. I also went home with someone else’s paperwork. Don’t waste your time.

Fantastic experience: This place is wonderful. The staff are all nice and professional. They have taken good care of my baby. They explain everything that is being done or needs to be done I would and have recommended them to friends

Fantastic experience: So far, so good. This is a vet that, how much you pay is based on how much you make. They have an application you can fill out and, depending on your situation, could save you some money or even save your pets life. It is going to save me quite a bit of money and allow me to get the care my pet needs.

Fantastic experience: They took excellent care of our Brandy

Stacy Zzz Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Wait times are long bc there’s only two veterinarians... I think. Vet techs are pleasant and helpful. Bill is a discount unlike other Veterinary businesses and I’m glad a place like this exists. They allow installment payments too which is a huge advantage. The vets know their stuff.

Fantastic experience: Pets in need has been such a blessing to our family. They have taken great care of our baby many times. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The affordable prices are unheard. So thankful for the donors that keep it going. We’ve experienced some financial difficulties but never had to worry about if we could afford vet care and if it was going to be quality

Fantastic experience: Well my poor little Annie girl my chihuahua and best friend had to gets five teeth extracted and spayed and I was able to pay them what I had which was $145 for the surgery and they let me owe them $109 to which I'm going to be making payments and have it paid off very soon and I am so grateful for their work they did an excellent job on Annie tysm

Fantastic experience: I was quoted $600-$800 to remove my senior Chihuahua's bad teeth at all local vets. Applied for Pets in Need and they removed 7 teeth for less than $250! My Precious feels amazing and can now eat without pain. Thank you!!

Negative experience: After several negative experiences there, we finally were forced to change animal clinics. I called many times, never a call back, when told. I went in several times for medication, waited over 45 minutes to be told that, I would need to make an appointment. I was told to call the manager if I had issues again, which I did, no response. Dark haired Vet tech, with her arm in a sling was exceptionally rude, cutting me off, when I asked a question, then proceeded to talk about me, to a coworker right in front of me, then loudly in the back about me. Unbelievable. All the actual Veterinarians our animals saw, were very friendly, but the administrative help, makes you feel like you’re unimportant and that you’re beneath them. In a low-income clinic like this, people should be treated with more dignity and respect. I will NEVER refer anyone to this clinic…just pay the extra $20-$30 you might save, and find a clinic where staff are properly trained to work with the public.

Fantastic experience: I can't possibly express my gratitude for PIN. The staff is amazing, caring and make the vet a happy place. Thank you for all you do sadly we lost opa (kitty) after 8 years but our other fur babies are doing well and loved so so much ❤️

Fantastic experience: Pets in need is a great place to go for low income or one that’s on a fixed income. I brought my furbaby to Pets in need Cincinnati. Unbeknownst to me, my baby had developed an autoimmune disorder and a bacterial infection. I was given two options of what could be done. Due to his constant pain and fur sloughing off I made the decision to have him euthanized. The staff showed professionalism, compassion, empathy for us. They let us be in the room so my baby wouldn’t be alone. I thank Pets in need Cincinnati for all of the guidance and support. If I should ever get another fur baby I will return back to them. Thank you Pets in need Cincinnati.

Negative experience: Wolf in sheep’s clothing. Just saying, my experience. As much as I needed to help a stray dog in need of help. The absolute unprofessional disfunction that I experienced on the day and time of my appointment, was far different than many of the reviews posted. I found him the care he needed elsewhere, but at a much higher cost. Thank you for the clarification of the old saying “ you get what you pay for”. I didn’t feel comfortable with helping an abandoned senior dog in the care of these people, hopefully you have a better experience. The complete discombobulating front staff was all I needed. But the office managers phone call 3 days later only assured me that I did indeed make the correct decision to leave and seek help elsewhere. But, if the place actually is doing right by “PETS IN NEED” then good for you.

Fantastic experience: They were great! My dog had a serious issue and they got us in quickly and they were very cost conscious.

Fantastic experience: I had such an easy time opening an account here and the staff have been so kind and caring. I feel like despite the wait times and occasional technical difficulties these people truly care :)

Matthew Bates Posted on Google 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: Overall I'm very happy with the staff at Pets In Need. They fixed my cats right up. A few things you need to understand before though. Wait times are long. From the look of things they are under staffed but who isn't. Wait times can be a little long which is understandable. They are the only low income vet office in the area from what I've found so it is expected to be pretty busy. They are not an emergency clinic. Both times I was there someone came in requesting emergency care. Unfortunately they don't seem to be set up for that. Some of the negative reviews seem to be from folks that don't understand that.

Fantastic experience: They are very good with handling my scared fur baby. They aren't expensive, so I get to keep my babies up to date on their medical health

Fantastic experience: Our family is so grateful for this vet clinic! Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and able to answer our questions! We also really appreciated how transparent everyone was about service prices prior to administering. The waiting room was quite full with both pups and cats so if your pup is reactive, just keep that in mind and maybe sit outside if possible. Personally, we didn't feel that we had to wait long to be seen and even if something took a while, they made sure to let us know what we were waiting for.
