Fantastic experience: We have a long haired cat with knots that went down to his skin. I worked on him until I hurt him bad enough to need staples. Attica, at Lewis Animal Hospital, was able to shave him so close with no cuts, no staples lol. She somehow got the knots out of the rest that didn't need to be shaved. I'm very happy with the job done.

Fantastic experience: I've been dealing with the Lewis Animal Hospital for almost 30 years and Doctor Les Polaski and Dr Keller's and his staff have treated my dogs like family members from their puppy years until their senior years and I have been very pleased with the services my pets have received

Negative experience: Since they opened the new large facility the service has been declining. We used to get proper treatments when they used to operate in O’Brianville (the OG location) (have been our go to vet for past 10yrs But not anymore. now they just charge heavy on all service and still not give you proper diagnosis trial based treatment. Never board you pets there. They never accommodate with your request and charge extra money to spend time and play with your pet. Instead find a place that is actually a pet boarding. Your pet is better off there.

Fantastic experience: I happened upon Lewis during Covid. What started as nail trims and grooming has turned into my go Veterinary office for my 3 animals. Dr Polanski has been so kind and understanding, as I have had numerous concerns about my dog, Puck. The staff is always so nice and one of the best things is, I never wait. I highly recommend them for all your pets needs.

Fantastic experience: The whole team there goes above and beyond. Very compassionate. They saved my little dogs life a few years ago. Will never forget that. We recently had to put our 16 or old down and they have a great plan in place for this. Would highly recommend to anyone. One of the best!

Negative experience: This place is an absolute joke. Threatened to put my cat down due to their negligence. Also called in for an emergency for my cat who is a little spicy, and was told no, they won’t even see her without sedation, The doctors here aren’t terrible but the staff are a bunch of pansies who are in the wrong field. They have no actual care for animals. And no professionalism. Why is it so hard to find care for an animal who needs it. Getting told no because you’re scared of an indoor cat bite is outrageous. Maybe don’t work at a vet clinic.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been a patron of Lewis Animal hospital for decades. Our canine family members are always treated with professionalism, kindness and compassion. Whether we were there for annual check-ups, inoculations, grooming, intestinal issues, even curing heart worms found in our chocolate lab after we adopted her, the Staff and Veterinary Physicians of Lewis Animal were always responsive with the end goal of getting their patients healthy and back to their normal routine. I highly recommend this Veterinary hospital to anyone who wants the best for their pets.

Negative experience: They’re so great as veterinarians they can diagnose a dog over the phone. Do not waste time and money with what they tell you about your pet.

Fantastic experience: My parents, my family, and I have been bringing our dogs to Lewis Animal Hospital since the 1960s. The vets provide excellent care! All of our dogs have lived to be in their late teens! Their technicians are wonderful, too! Will has a special ability to assuage one of my dog's fears who has to come for weekly kidney treatments. I highly recommend this veterinary office to everyone!

Fantastic experience: We have a beautiful Chow named Appa who doesn’t like to be touched by anyone but us — which can make vet visits challenging. But at Lewis Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Keller has been incredible. He truly understands that Appa isn’t your typical dog and always approaches him with patience, compassion, and respect. We never feel judged or guilty for having a dog with special needs — instead, we feel supported. The staff is also kind, helpful, and accommodating, which makes a huge difference. Having a dog who needs a little extra understanding isn’t always easy, but finding a vet who embraces that is an absolute gift. We’re so grateful to have found Dr. Keller, and we strongly recommend Lewis Veterinary to anyone — especially if your pet doesn’t fit the “normal” mold.

Fantastic experience: First time there with our baby girl, they not only diagnosed Sadie’s illness , but took the time to get to know her, but they played with her made her feel comfortable with them. I will definitely take her back in the future. Dr.Keller was fantastic with her!

Fantastic experience: As always, our experience this week was stellar. Our cat had some dental work done, but also during the pre-op bloodwork they found some readings that indicate early stages of kidney problems in our aging cat. I appreciated the doctor’s care in explaining Goonchy’s dental care, and his suggestion of a plan to follow up on the bloodwork. This attention to detail may have given us more years with our kitty due to early diagnosis.

Fantastic experience: For seven years Figgy has been treated with LOVE, when l am hospitalized l don’t have to worry that someone is mistreating my baby boy who was a rescue shelter baby, that had been mistreated. Figgy is very smart l have taught him how to let me know if he has been mistreated or loved (he let’s me know). Lewis Animal Hospital, Doctors and staff is FIGGY’S 2nd FAMILY .

Dr. polansky typically takes care of our pups and they have all lived well beyond what would be expected for their breed (Most have lived >15 years and they have all been large breed dogs dogs) We are extremely grateful for the care they have provided and pricing is always very reasonable.

Fantastic experience: Great vet care, all the vets do a great job. They’re honest with their recommendations and it’s fairly easy to get a convenient appointment. The grooming department also does a great job but can have long lead times for cats.

Fantastic experience: We have been with this veterinary practice for 30 years. Dr Les Polasky has helped us, including our now adult children, care for and eventually walk many of our fur babies to the rainbow bridge. There are few people better suited to handle this most important time and difficult task than him. The new location is beautiful. But if Dr Polasky set up shop in a cardboard box tomorrow we would follow him there.

Positive experience: I went here to get an x-ray done for my cat. My vet suspected a kidney stone so I was here to find out if she had one or not. Everyone there was really nice... except for one older lady behind the desk. She is the reason why I gave Lewis Animal Hospital 3 stars. I admittedly was late for my appointment. It was an honest mistake. The older lady behind the desk didn't have a very good attitude about that. I came back at 1pm as instructed and my cat got her X-ray. Of course I was concerned about whether or not my cat had a kidney stone and if so how big was it? When they brought my cat back to me, I asked the lady (different lady) if my cat had a kidney stone and she told me yes. I see the mean lady staring a hole through me while I'm talking to the lady who took the x-ray. When I asked how big was the stone, the lady started to answer me. The mean older lady behind the desk interrupted and told me to wait for my vet to call to find out what was going on with my cat. After feeling singled out and embarrassed a second time by this lady, I promptly left. I was interested in bringing my cat there to get groomed in the future but after this experience I will go elsewhere. It's a shame this lady conducted herself like she did. The rest of the staff seemed really nice except for her.

Fantastic experience: Dr Keller was very friendly knowledgeable and patient. He answered all my questions about my dogs treatment. He was not in a big hurry to get out of the room either.

Fantastic experience: I love how beautiful this place looks. The vets and people working are very nice and helpful. The only thing I wish was different and I know it's a lot to ask, but the entrance where there's grass would be better off as concrete. It would make for a nice easy access to their corner door entrance. That way people dont have to walk through mud or rock to get to the door.

Fantastic experience: I bought our family Chihuahua Chico to Dr Polasky and he was so gentle and understood our concerns.. He showed so much empathy. Our Chico crossed the rainbow bridge on Feb10th. Fantastic experience: I've been out there three times and the veterinarian has been wonderful with my pets. I called him today and he called me back within 10 minutes. I am so pleased with the responsiveness and quality of care. And he has presented a detail approach to my cat's health problems what's the other vet did not offer. This veterinarian has many ideas of treatments and possible tests to do whereas the other veterinarian always did the same treatment that rarely or never worked. 7/2022 --- I still am 5-star pleased with Lewis Animal Hospital. All the vets and staff are wonderful, informed and caring. We are keeping my sick kitty comfortable and getting her the highest quality of life possible. She still runs around and enjoys herself, despite her chronic illness. Thanks, docs.

Sucks that they're not open on Sundays, but the big plus is they see you the quickest on your appointments than any other animal hospital in Cincinnati. The doctors and nurses are very helpful, empathetic, and knowledgeable, and transferring documents from other vets is so simple.

Fantastic experience: Hendrix is a skeptical big dog but the vet staff behind the scenes went above and beyond to ensure that he felt comfortable with them. He made a new friend and is on the way to not hating vet visits anymore.

Fantastic experience: Our 7 year old Pit mix needed to have a splenectomy right after we moved to Cincinnati from Los Angeles. The amazing staff + doctors at Lewis Animal took such great care of our buddy. Three weeks out, he's playing with no issue. The incision sealed beautifully + we are grateful to have our friend and family member for several more years.

Fantastic experience: I brought my dog, Kingsley, in for a visit regarding a small cough he had. The staff was INCREDIBLE! my dog is very dog reactive and they accommodated that by getting him into a room right away. Because he is so dog reactive I have to muzzle him anytime he might be around other dogs and I always feel so bad because people see the muzzle and they automatically assume he's a mean when really he is the SWEETEST dog with people. However, the staff here was not phased AT ALL by his muzzle and they immediately approached him and started giving him ALL the love and pets he could ever hope for! I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. If I could give 50 stars I would! Great experience all around

I didn't go to my regular vet because they were pricey and didn't have an appointment the same day. Called lewis animal hospital and they were fantastic. Got me in quick, took care of my dog, eased my anxiety and were affordable. Making this my regular vet for all my animals. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: We used them for boarding when we were in Cincinnati for a month. Our dog was well cared for an clearly well treated. Subsequent our first visit, he happily went with the staff and trotted through the door to see his "friends" again.

The little girl got great care, and I got a clear follow-up plan for her vaccinations and eventual spay surgery.
