Fantastic experience: We’re really happy we found this place. When we first called, Liz answered the phone and clearly explained the different yearly plans they offer. During the physical exam for our dogs, the staff also mentioned their boarding services in case we ever needed care while away. We ended up boarding one of our dogs for five days, and both Dory and Andy made sure he felt right at home. I received daily updates from Dory, which gave us so much peace of mind. We truly felt our dog was in good hands. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I drive pass this place often and I was searching for a place to neuter my dog Alpha. From the first day till the day of the surgery it has been a great experience. I was a bit concerned since there are a bit of bad reviews. But I took the chance since not all reviews can be trusted. But thankfully I was able to go and meet the staff and everyone has been great and professional with handling my Alpha. I'm glad I took the chance and recommend their facility. Also I found their pricing fair. I had two options and they were understanding about payment as well so that's another + from me. Thank you Dr. Barr and Staff!!

Fantastic experience: Sadly my visit didn't have a happy ending, but the care, compasion, and kindness shown by dr Cutrone and the entire stuff, from the moment we walked through the door until I left alone, helped my dog Mia and myself navigate the most painfull part of being a dog owner. Another important thing to mention, is that their prices are reasonable.
Positive experience: They did a great job checking in on my cat, the front desk was very quick to help and the vet techs were very helpful too.

Negative experience: If you are coming with an emergency, like a seizure for example, make sure you bring your checkbook. They will refuse to even STABILIZE without making a payment. This is even if you have been here before and paid everything in full

Fantastic experience: PET EXPRESS is the BEST Animal Hospital I've EVER been to! Dr Nikki Cutrone is responsible for treating our dog and saving his life. I rescued dogs for 15 years & have owned dogs all my life (I'm 53) & NO ONE compares to PET EXPRESS. I'm a customer for life! EXCELLENT care! So professional! Vet techs are the BEST! Dr. Nikki Cutrone is so compassionate & knowledgeable. She went above & beyond! A very sick dog was given to me, severely dehydrated, malnutritioned with an active GI bleed. She quickly diagnosed him & began treatment immediately. Max is recovering beautifully at home. He is a large German Shepherd with a gentle soul & is a permanent part of our family now. Dr. Cutrone and Pet Express were referred to me by three different dog owners. I'm so glad I found them! Thank You Dr. Cutrone & staff for saving our beautiful boy!

Negative experience: My visit to PetXpress on May 27 was a deeply disappointing experience, one that has left me heartbroken. I was expecting professional care for my cat, but instead, I felt like I was dealing with salespeople rather than compassionate veterinary professionals. My cat came in with a respiratory issue, and Dr. Barr quickly ordered a series of test, including a costly ultrasound for $874.00 on top of an initial $1100 for other treatments. What I wasn't told was that the report would not available the same day, leaving me in the dark about my cat's condition. Sadly, my cat's condition worsened, and I had to make the agonizing decision to euthanize him that same day, with no answers, no explanation and no compassion from the staff. It's been three weeks, and I still haven't received any results from the tests. The staff was more focused on upselling euthanasia services than providing the care and empathy I desperately needed in my time grief. Dr. Barr seemed overwhelmed, while another staff member appeared disengaged, spending the time on his phone. When I asked for water, I was simply pointed to a fountain, and there were no tissues available for my tears. For a clinic that claims to be "Built on Love", this experience was anything but. Instead, it felt like I was being taken advantage of during one of the most vulnerable moments in my life. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism, transparency and empathy at PetXpress.

Negative experience: After over a year of trusting Pet Express Animal Hospital with my dog's care, recent events have left me seriously questioning their competence and professionalism. In January, despite my dog showing no lameness and walking perfectly fine, they recommended a $7000 surgery for a Grade 2 patellar luxation and arthritis. We were later shocked to learn from another clinic that such a procedure should only be recommended if a dog is unable to walk. This raises significant concerns about their initial advice. A critical detail—my dog lifting his front right leg the day before surgery—was communicated but seemingly disregarded. The next two months were horrific. An MRI revealed cancer affecting a nerve in his left front leg. The knee surgery recovery inadvertently worsened his condition by forcing more weight onto his compromised leg, leading to rapid cancer progression. Despite multiple visits and charges, Pet Express provided no clear diagnosis. Only after seeking a second opinion was a neurologist specialist recommended. A new treatment initially improved his health, but a month later, his condition spiraled dramatically. An attempt to lower an essential pill's dosage, as recommended by the specialist, caused severe pain within a day. This led to reaching maximum medication dosage just three months post-diagnosis, prompting difficult discussions about his quality of life. Thankfully, he has since improved under specialist guidance, though he's lost muscle and stopped using the affected leg. My most recent encounter solidified my decision to write this review. Yesterday, I called with concerns about blood in his stool and to refill a crucial medication. After providing a sample and receiving negative test results, I assumed the medication was ready. Today, a less-than-friendly receptionist ushered me into a room. There, a nurse with an unpleasant and aggressive demeanor and a proudly worn mustache immediately confronted me. He aggressively questioned me, implying I was irresponsibly obtaining medication. He insinuated I was continuing a short-term prescription against their advice, causing the bleeding, because their records predated my specialist consultations. His accusatory tone felt like a personal attack; I felt accused and humiliated, especially given an already challenging personal day. Crucially, my dog had only a few drops of blood in his stool once and no diarrhea, despite the nurse's insistence. I explained I wanted to monitor the bleeding and consult his specialist before stopping such a vital pill. Despite this, they recommended immediately stopping it for a new stomach treatment. Given my dog's past severe decline off this pill, I reiterated the need to consult my specialist and wife. This visibly angered the nurse. The interaction ended with multiple papers to sign; my polite refusal to sign one led to another uncomfortable exchange, where I felt he took personal offense as he aggressively stared while I left. Pet Express Animal Hospital profoundly lacks both expert medical care and compassionate customer service. Such hostile and accusatory treatment, especially when dealing with a critically ill pet, is unacceptable. I could detail many other incidents, but this review would become too long. I sincerely hope this message reaches the owner, who I urge to address these issues to ensure no other pet owner endures a similar experience. I'm now left deciding whether to tolerate this treatment for my multiple dogs, for whom I have a yearly plan, or seek respectful care elsewhere. This level of service is simply not something I can condone or accept.
Negative experience: I had the worst experience at this place today. I am super traumatized. I brought my dog in to be humanly euthanized. I was ok with my decision and just wanted him to be at peace. I have been through the process before and knew what to expect. This was different. My dog was taken out of the room to get an IV placed. I was told it would take a few minutes. It was an hour. Within that time I heard him cry. He never cries. I went to the front desk and asked about it. The girl went to the back and I heard her say “ the owner heard her dog cry and wants to know what’s going on”. After another 20 minutes they brought him back with bandages on all 4 legs and a needle in his neck. Said Veins ruptured. The female doctor has zero sympathy. They said it was a complicated case and had to inject him intramuscular to put him in a coma. She didn’t inject enough and after 15 minutes needed to inject more. They later had to inject into his heart to stop it. Once again. The first needle wasn’t long enough so they had to re inject. There was nothing peaceful and painless. My poor baby had an awful ending. When she was done she said “ ok we can take him out” as he was still twitching. No regards to the trauma my daughter and I just went through. I asked to stay with him for a while while Ozzie the nurse stayed with me. I have nothing bad to say about Ozzie. He was great. The only thing , at the end he was too honest in agreeing with me that the dog suffered. I really didn’t want to hear that. My heart hurts and I am filled with guilt for bringing him to this house of horrors. I’m not sure if it would have been different elsewhere but…. Never ever let your loved pet out of your site. I should have never allowed that.
Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!! i brought my elderly dog here to be put down and it was a horrific experience. they ruptured veins in all of his legs while trying to sedate him and when that didn’t work they tried to go through his neck but still were unable to and left the catheter inside of him. they proceeded to sedate him through the muscle but didn’t give him enough and i had to point it out so they could give him more. the doctor is incompetent and coming here was the worst mistake of my life. my poor baby was in so much pain and they made this experience anything but peaceful. please do not go here the only reason they have any good reviews is because they offer $5 off for a good review.
Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dr. Barr at this facility for years. I drive up from N miami just because I know the care my dog will receive is top notch. Unlike many places, they are not about squeezing money out of you at the expense of your pets health. Couldn’t recommend this facility and Dr. Barr enough.

Fantastic experience: The staff has been absolutely incredible with my cat Gizmo. Andy is the Tech I was in contact with and has been keeping me up to date on Gizmo’s progress and has taken the time to explain everything. The Veterinarian that I saw took the time to explain Gizmo’s diagnosis and treatment in detail. I appreciate everyone I have interacted with because they all have been patient, kind, and compassionate with me and have been completely transparent throughout the whole process. I will definitely return to Pet Express for all of my cat Gizmo’s needs and will also bring my other cat Tigger as well. Fantastic overall experience! Fantastic experience: I have to say for one of my saddest days, they made me feel better. My 17 year old dog needed to be put to sleep. I was heart broken.on a Sunday. The staff was amazing, they care and helped me through everything. The person who carried my dog in stayed with me almost the whole time, reassuring me of the choice I had to make. Letting me cry and talk. Best experience in the worst circumstances. I would highly recommend them for anything that you need done. Some of the most caring staff I'm ever met. If my doctors office was this good I would be happy to see my doctor more.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here for over a year with our little Frenchie Miles. Miles gets to go monthly for his baths and check up. The staff here is exceptional. Had to take Miles in yesterday for a rash He has and they treated him like their own dog. Always very pleased with their expertise and helping us keep our fur baby healthy. You guys are the best. Negative experience: Don't leave a whole lot of reviews, but I do not recommend this place. If I had to rate the customer service, I would give it a 0. Paid $116 for prescription dog food on their online pharmacy, my dog would not eat any of it, however my pet has had the same brand/ prescription food before so I figured maybe it was a bad batch so we called pet express office and explained the situation. The person we spoke to said go ahead and print the bag back and we will exchange it. Well that wasn't the case when arriving, instead they wanted to charge me for a new bag and then do the return of the bad bag through their online pet pharmacy. Did I pay for the new bag, absolutely not. I went elsewhere and don't plan on returning to this place in the future for any type of pet care.
Hey I’m sorry sorry how that was handled. We can not take back the food however there please call hills customer service on the back of the bag. They handle everything they will give you a refund or exchange it.
Fantastic experience: I am very grateful for all that Dr. Eugene Alexeev and team of Pet Express has done for my 10 yo golden retriever, Papito. My husband and I were so worried and Crystal received us with tranquility and empathy. Papito had to go through an emergency surgery and the team was simply amazing. Negative experience: The service here is absolutely abysmal. Unapologetic, they had me sitting in a room for two hours for a simple cytology and ear flush. Appointment at 3:15 and two hours and still no vet visit. I’m sitting here right now writing this with no one coming to treat my pet. Horrible service

Fantastic experience: I brought my puppy there for a bath .The girl I dealt with I believe her name was Desiree was amazing . She was very observant and very caring with my puppy. Negative experience: BEWARE!!! Our dog died here. It is a money grab. My daughter brought our dog Coco in, they worked up an estimate on all of the testing and of course it was well over $1000 for what they were recommending. I approved some of the testing and they took her in a separate room to run some of the tests. In the middle of it they took Coco out to go potty. She collapsed and they ran in to ask my daughter if they should resuscitate. Of course she said yes, but it was too late for Coco. She died and my daughter didn't get to say goodbye. What a devastating experience. I called several times to find out what the results of the testing were and how/why she died and they never called me back. I don't have any fight left in me so I am going to let it go and try to find peace instead of anger. They charged me over $1000 and I didn't get the results of the testing and our dog is no longer on this earth. Badly done Pet Express! Fantastic experience: A few months ago my 6 yr old Rottie became very sick so we took him to PetExpress and Dr Cutrone quickly diagnosed him as having necrotizing pancreatitis, which is not only excruciatingly painful, but deadly. She guided us thru the weeks long road to get him stabilized and on a special diet. Her vet tech, Ashley was incredible in handling him, and trust me when I tell you he's every vets worst patient. We brought him back each day for 7 days and Ashley administered a full IV bag of fluids each day. It involved a lot of sedation, patience and love, but Dr Cutrone and Ashley treated him like he was their baby, too! They saved his life.
It has been our pleasure to take care of you guys! It’s honestly the best part of our job is seeing the patients get better day by day. He is a champ and has made such great strides. We hope to see you guys back soon!

Fantastic experience: Pet Express has been our veterinaries since we adopted our dog 5 years ago. They truly care. Recently we brought him in for what ended up as emergency surgery. When we arrived we were quickly seen. All tests were immediately done and he went into surgery within minutes after diagnosis. I am truly grateful for the wonderful staff from the front desk to Andy to Dr. Barr. Very knowledgeable, kind and professional. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Overpriced and make you wait for hours, called for health records… all they needed was a sign off from the doctor, does this seem as it needs 3 hours? A signature? Meanwhile I expressed the urgency. I’ve been here plenty of times, it’s empty all the time. They are also known for adding unneeded treatments to rack up bill.

Fantastic experience: I recently got a three month old puppy. I need to find a vet somebody recommended pet express I went there and met Dr. Cotrone and her assistant. Fantastic experience: I visited four other veterinarians in the south Florida area trying to find one that was not trying to rip me off. The first day I went to Advance Veterinarian they kept us waiting for over four hours, what a wasted day not counting the stress for my dog. The next day the same thing, five hours but this time we waited it out, we received a proposal for $ 12,0000.00 that's right $12000.00 To make a long story short we found a Vet that we should of found sooner Dr. Alexeev from Pet Express of Davie Florida. He tells it like is and eliminated any further pain for my dog. When the time was up for my pal after 11 plus years, he definitely made it easier. Thanks again Dr.Alexeev
Fantastic experience: My Cat Zen was treated at this hospital. Wow, I’m extremely grateful and amazed at how well they took care of my kitty. The staff was kind and welcoming. The Dr.’s were fantastic. Both Dr. Katrone and Dr. Alexeev. Dr. Alexeev saved my kitty. I was so worried he would need to get surgery when his bladder was blocked and we were on the verge of needing to schedule surgery as it was urgently advised! Then Dr. Alexeev was able to remove the plaque from Zen’s urethra causing it to unblock fully after going back and forth to get the catheter procedures 3 times. I cannot tell you how much stress I went through during that week and how relieved I was. I’m so grateful to Dr.Alexeev and the whole team! I felt it was nothing short of a miracle that Zenny was unblocked and was able to avoid the need for surgery. Thank you so so much. Super recommend this place! Thank you for all your help!

Negative experience: I thought a lot before posting this review. But I think it is necessary for people to know so that they please do not go to this clinic, especially with a dog in critical condition. Here they care about your money and nothing more than that. On Monday, March 3, I took my dog to this place. She was sick but not critical. They sent me home with medicine that did nothing for her. When they saw that she was worse, I called the clinic and told them and they gave me a dewormer because according to sources, the dog had LL parasites. “I say according to” because that day my dog got worse on Tuesday. On Wednesday, I returned to the clinic with my dog in critical condition and they told me that she had pancreatitis and that I had to hospitalize her. I hospitalized her. by all this I'm already paying more than 2 thousand dollars there "this post is not about the money, I'm not a millionaire but if the money brought my dog back to me I would pay triple" ok let's continue that same day around 2:30 pm I called to see how the dog was, they told me that she was fine, that she was calmer, that she was with serum at 3 hours I call again and what was my news that my dog had died and I think they realized because I called to ask. The doctor told me nothing more than that she passed away. and that I should go sign to cremate her. I don't know if somewhere else they would have saved her or not maybe not. Maybe it was already her time to transcend to heaven. I understand that. What I will never understand is why if they saw that she was not improving they didn't call me and give me the opportunity to say goodbye. that's one, next act the doctor was not able to give me even his condolences out of respect. tell me we did everything possible. I don't know if I explained myself. More or less, I understood that they are there for money, not for love of animals! I wish I could give zero stars and I hope that no one else has to go through this with such insensitive people.
Negative experience: The customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced and the wait time is ridiculous even with an appointment. We had a follow up appointment the doctor never came in to see the sick dog yet she prescribed medication how does that work??? Telepet medicine??? :(
Negative experience: I have been a loyal client at Pet Express Animal Hospital for over three years, and I have always appreciated the care my dog has received. Previously, I was able to show the prescription for his digestion food and confirm that he is up to date on all his vaccinations, and the clinic would provide me with the food and services, including expressing his anal glands. However, I am extremely disappointed with the recent policy changes. Now, I am told that I must schedule an unnecessary annual vet visit to access both the prescription food and the gland expression service. This change not only creates significant inconvenience but also raises concerns about the clinic's commitment to pet care, as these services were routinely provided before. I hope Pet Express Animal Hospital can reconsider these policies to better serve their long-time clients and continue focusing on the health and well-being of the pets they care for.
Fantastic experience: This place has always been so helpful and they are open later than most other vets. I always bring my dog here and I’ve always had incredible experiences. They have a lot of the necessary meds on site as well which is very convenient.
Fantastic experience: It might be a bit pricey, but good care always is! This place saved one of my cats lives on two separate occasions, as he is one fragile little furry guy! The front office staff is always friendly, the doctors are extremely knowledgeable, can’t recommend them highly enough. And it’s not necessarily cheaper elsewhere, so this place is definitely wonderful.

Fantastic experience: OMG I can’t say enough good things about this vet office! My little Mia had a rash on her belly, and when I called at 6:30 PM, they got me in by 7:10 PM—talk about amazing service! The front desk staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, especially Nicole. Crystal, the nurse, was so sweet and informative. Dr. Benipaul was fantastic—he came in right away, diagnosed Mia, and was thorough and gentle without pushing unnecessary medications. I’m beyond happy to have found this place—affordable, convenient, and most importantly, they treat your fur baby like their own! 7:30 and we are already on our way home! Thank you guys!
Fantastic experience: My experience is always good with my dog getting the treatment she needs always be aware you can say no to unnecessary extra things. Always look over your treatment plan multiple times
Negative experience: I brought my dog in for a lump on his paw. They said it would be $340 to biopsy or $837 to remove the lump and have it tested. I chose to have it removed. After the procedure they charged me $1,100 and two days later when the bandages came off the lump was still there. When I called they said I must have been confused by their medical explanations and to remove the lump would be another $2,300. Do not trust your beloved animal to these idiots. They only care about the money.
Negative experience: gave my dog cytopoint and now she's not the same has a licking problem swallowing problem and I was told by the vet "you can believe what you read on the internet if you want"... its been 2 months and this shot I was swindled into getting is still harming my dog. great place
Fantastic experience: Pet Express has been amazing at taking care of my dogs. Currently my dog was diagnosed with a Heart Condition and is on s lot of medication and has needed emergency care to be placed on Oxygen. Pet Express has been caring and compassionate, and Andy has gone over and above taking care of my pup, he is a true Rick star. The front desk staff to the doctors I can’t say enough about the care and treatment. I left my long time Vet of many years because the care is far superior, Dr. Benipal is amazing.
Negative experience: Vet gave my dog a shot and when I researched it many peoples dogs have gotten sick. Called this vet and was told "you can believe what you read online if you want" meanwhile its been a month and my dog has an excessive licking problem since, breathing issue and wouldn't eat for weeks after said shot. thanks a lot guy
Negative experience: Make sure to read all reviews before coming here. I was coming in with my dogs for a GENERAL CHECK UP and NAIL TRIM. The recepionist was told by someone from the back that was hostile about it that I needed to sign a CPR/DNR waiver and that I would be leaving the dogs because there system was down. I found this very odd because they didn’t call to fairwarn or give me the option to reschedule ahead of time. On top of them making phone calls and making appointments as i was in the front waiting room. Convienetly 15 mins after I left with my dogs because I refuse to leave them anywhere that gives me a bad gut feeling they called back to tell me that their system was back up and I could come back for the appointment. Something is very off with this establishment and I will NOT be returning with my furry family members.

Fantastic experience: We’ve to Pet Express several times. The team is friendly and obviously committed, not just ensuring pets are cared for but pet parents are too. Any time I’ve called, I’ve had my questions answered quickly and have been able to get an appointment with ease. This last trip in we were so worried about our cat who had been sick for a week. Dr. Benipal was informative, thorough and kind. Miles took excellent care of our fur baby and was very friendly. On our next visit, Andy really made us feel like family. Fantastic experience: Our 23 year old cat had a UTI and has a very bad cold . I brought her in and from the minute you walk in the door the front desk staff is very welcoming and puts you at ease.We met with the vet tech and she was very caring and took dictation of her condition for the Doctor.We then met the Doctor and she was so great. She had a great bedside manner.Very professional and informative and willing to listen and answer any questions. She listened to my nervous babbling and how the last week of my cats symptoms were and what I did for her and my concerns.She then did a full exam and explained what was apparently visible and explained that I could get a full analysis work up and how much that would cost to let us know if she is having any other issues and preventative measures to avoid health problems.My cat Muffy felt comfortable there .She then was treated for her UTI with antibiotic shot to alleviate difficult pill taking and gave us a urinalysis test also.The assistant ti the vet was very sweet and made us feel good also with her bedside manner also.We were then explained the breakdown of the bill ,with very fair to average pricing for the treatment we agreed on .The vet then even came out at check out to go over everything again and I just can’t say enough about how great this place is.Very very clean and offer products and also is an emergency shelter as well. So happy this will be our veterinary facility from now on for all our pets.

Negative experience: Could've given more starts if the front desk person was nice and caring. Unfortunately, I had an extremely bad experience with one of them who wasn't helpful and does not care at all (multiple times, but I was ignoring what she did in the past). What made me extremely angry was the last thing she did. My cat had an issue, and they were suspecting cancer, and I was waiting for the result for a week. One day, I saw 2 missed calls, called back asking about those calls, she said they called just to make sure that your cat is doing well! I said: I am waiting for results so could you please double check? She wasn't really happy about my request, she put me on hold, technician answered, saying yes, the result is ready! Why did she make that assumption!! I've been waiting and crying every day and night, thinking that my cat could have cancer, and she did not even bother to confirm anything and carelessly made an assumption and wanted to hang up! Tried to contact her or the manager for 2 days, and finally, when the manager called, she was trying to defend that receptionist, which was weird because what she did was unacceptable at all. Other than that, the doctor and the technician were so nice and caring. The front desk should be the nicest thing in any business, especially hospitals! People/pets have enough already, so dealing with receptionists should not be an issue at all! So I'd only recommend this place if you are ok with dealing with a difficult front desk person and if you are ok with waiting for an hour or more for your appointment. In general, they always kept me waiting at least 45-60 mins in a cold room every time I went to any appointment. Don't forget to get a jacket.

Fantastic experience: Our visit to Pet Express was marked by professionalism from everyone who helped us even since calling them on the phone. I was extremely concerned after Abby had swallowed something she shouldn’t have so we took her to to Pet Express, a tech checked her immediately. All told it hadn’t even been fifteen minutes from when we walked in the doors that the doctor on call was giving her an exam. Negative experience: These people killed my kitten. I found an abandoned 2-3 week old kitten and was bottle feeding him for a whole week and helping him go to the bathroom. He was eating, and using the bathroom regularly. He was completely fine but to be safe and to make sure he didn’t have worms, we brought him to the vet. The doctor told the other lady who was helping us to feed our kitten some dewormer “just to be safe” she told him that they should take a fecal sample to make sure and he insisted that it wasn’t necessary and told her to proceed with the dewormer. That night we brought him home he was a bit more cranky and whiney than usual but nothing too suspicious. That morning I woke up and he was passed. I called them and they told us there’s nothin they can do! He was fine for weeks that we had him and did the same routine regularly and even made sure he was warm at night and was able to have plenty of fresh air to breathe easily. Don’t know what else could’ve killed him if it wasn’t the damn dewormer they fed him carelessly!
Negative experience: I am also very disappointed. I brought our 10yr old therapy dog in for an ekg and got her back with bloody rear legs! Limping! How did it happen??? The tech said the dog fell on her, then she said it happened twice but had put antibiotic cream on it but before my daughter noticed she was not going to tell us and just said you’re going to want to wash her T-shirt bc it was full of alcohol! It wasn’t alcohol! And she smelled so bad bc dogs put out a scent when they’re afraid that I’ve never smelled in the ten years we’ve had this poor therapy animal that went in for a potential heart issue! Now that I’ve spent a couple thousand on things she didn’t need and was hurt I can’t pay for a surgery that she NEEDS! What am I supposed to do? She’s my daughter’s therapy dog. She’s trained. She’s family more than anything and my daughter has a heart condition and we just lost my mom just before Xmas to a heart condition. Disappointed, angry and sad
Negative experience: We brought our ten yr old therapy dog for an echocardiogram and ekg and when we went to pick her up she was bleeding from her hind paws and limping from her left back leg which was all new and the vet had no idea. The tech gave us the dog, didn’t tell us until my daughter noticed and the tech said she got it from falling onto the girl and then she said it was from falling 2x and then she said it was from her trying to escape the crate! With hind paws?? She’s an american staffodshire terrier/ Victorian bulldog mix. She even flinched when my daughter went to clean her which she never ever has. I’m so sad idk what to do and no one should ever have their animals hurt. If you don’t want to work with animals get another job!!!
Fantastic experience: This is our second visit! The Dr. was amazing and the staff as well. They all were very understanding and cared about both my baby and I as I was a nervous wreck. Fantastic experience: I’m have no words to express my gratitude to the staff that helped us last Saturday when we had to make the most hard and sad decision and put to sleep our 15 year old yellow lab. Fantastic experience: I can't thank Dr. Rayment enough for his help and professionalism! I had a last minute emergency with my two pups right before new years and he was kind enough to quickly set me up with an appointment and have them seen. He was so thorough with his exams and explaining all of the results, that I felt very at ease once they were under his care and leaving them overnight. They were able to come back home safely in less than 24 hours and in great condition. Definitely would recommend to anyone out there - he really is awesome! The whole team at Pet Express are just amazing!

Fantastic experience: I took my little Oreo who is a goldendoodle there when his back right leg was injured. Expecting it to be a cash grab with bad service, I was pleasantly surprised that the vets were so friendly and honest in their care. It was evident to the Doctor that Oreo had not broken anything and gave him anti inflammatory meds and he’s back to 100%, Oreo enjoyed his experience and it didn’t break the bank!

Negative experience: Although their initial service is good, once they get all your money you become a problem for them. Dr. Rayment is very unprofessional and does not return calls. Negative experience: I bought my sick kitty to this place because I had brought my other cats years ago. It seems that after they take your money you are a problem for them. I paid close to $2000 dollars to this place for X-rays and treatment. I called 4 times to ask Dr. Rayment a question and was avoided by him at all costs. Then I still tried to follow up with the receptionists Brooke and Marisol. I was laughed at and excuses were made in order to keep me from speaking to Marisol. I was told she was "dumping out the garbage" or that she was " in the back". So it turns out that neither the doctor nor the receptionists respect a pet parent enough to return a call. My only reason for calling is because my cat is acting like he's at death 's door. NONE OF THE TREATMENTS HAVE HELPED! They were quick to take my money but negligent enough to not return my calls. I don't plan on returning there ever again! Please read my review and stay away from this place! Doctor's and staff don't really care about your pets. They are cold and callous. They are only in it for the money. Stay away at all costs!

Negative experience: I brought my cat with kidney issues in because he was a bit lethargic the past day. I thought he might be dehydrated and was hoping they could just give him some fluids. The vet was great and told me he didn't recommend fluids but agreed with my assessment that my cat may be lethargic because I drastically changed his diet the day before. I gave him a huge plate full of protein for dinner (which goes against his normal kidney diet)and he ate the entire thing in one sitting. The vet recommended going back to the original diet and was going to give us a bottle of fluids to take home to help rehydrate our cat as well as a list of some supplements we could give. I thought everything was great, put my cat back in the carrier and was ready to go. The vet assistant comes in and tells me they want to do X-rays, blood work and other tests for $1100. On top of that they may need to keep our cat overnight for fluid therapy. I told him the vet never said a word about any of that. On top of that my cat just had blood work done last week with his regular vet and I didn't want to do that again. Also, we have an appt. with our regular vet next week. The assistant warned me that given what I described my cat could crash in the next few days before my regular vet appt. and highly recommended against taking him home. What did I describe that made it sound so dire? All I said was I gave my cat a huge plate of protein the night before (which he entirely ate!) and now he was lethargic and possibly dehydrated. The assistant then says, "oh, yes, he's dehydrated. His eyes are all sunken in." My cat has been getting checked by his regular vet frequently for over a year and we've NEVER been told anything about sunken eyes. Even the vet at Pet Express only said he may be slightly dehydrated. "Sunken eyes" refers to extreme dehydration. My cat wasn't even that dehydrated when I brought him here. I was just hoping for a small amount of fluids to help him get over the food I had given him. I repeatedly told the assistant that the vet never said a word about any of these treatments but the vet never reappeared. I assumed he would return to explain this, but he never did. I simply brought my cat here because he's had dehydration issues in the past due to his kidneys and I just wanted to make sure he was hydrated since he seemed a bit off. Since I only live 5 minutes away I thought this would be easier than going all the way to my regular vet. After I got home I got a call from my regular vet office telling me that Pet Express told them it was an emergency because I said my cat wouldn't eat. What did they not understand about my cat eating an entire plate of protein the night before? I was very upset when I left here. I had to ask for the bottle of fluids that the vet recommended since no one was going to give it to me when I left. I took my cat home, gave him some of the fluids and within a few hours my cat was totally lively and happy again. Be careful when you come here. The vets are good enough but they will make an assessment and leave and you may not see them again. And you'll be stuck with an unqualified assistant trying to scare you into doing tons of unnecessary tests costing you a small fortune.

Positive experience: Had an emergency on a Sunday so had to come here. Very nice staff and they fixed my dog. Clean. My only issue is that they are wicked slow at tending to you. I sat in room for 45 min waiting on dr. 3 times!!. Other than that a nice place. Oh, very expensive!!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Pet Express are so wonderful! Anytime my babies aren’t feeling too well, this is the first place I bring them. My oldest baby is an 18 yr old Shih Tzu who is moving a lot slower these days but the typical medications are too hard on her liver and kidneys but the Chief Operating Officer, Paul was able to get her a new medication (shot) that was recently approved in the US and I am so hopeful that my baby will be moving around much more nimbly in the future. The doctors are all so amazing and attentive, especially Dr. Barr and Dr. Rayment. They’re not about treating just symptoms but getting to the core cause. I feel so blessed to have found them!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rayment and staff are providing excellent support to make sure that my new rescue, Malone, moves forward to good health. Fantastic experience: The entire team at Pet express animal hospital always ensures that not only are my babies getting the best care, but that I am too.
