Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Dr. Ferrera enough for the care she gave my cat Bookie. During a regular visit I mentioned a lump I had noticed without much concern. Dr. Ferrera took it very seriously, her attentiveness led to Bookie getting the surgery she needed quickly. I’m incredibly thankful for how carefully and seriously she handled everything and for performing a successful surgery on Bookie and quickly finding her cancer. I had no doubt when dropping Bookie off for her procedure that she would be in great hands. I also want to recognize the front desk staff, who were always so kind, patient, and supportive. I wish I knew the name of the guy who works the front but he is amazing as well!

Reception- Genesis And Jasmine these lady doing amazing job being the voice and face of this Location they are super Friendly and Willing to help they even gave us Some Treats And our puppy barely eats Treats but she was Eating them and they noticed she love them and they went over and beyond to give her some extra overall these Lady are wonderful. Genesis is who Reeled us in because all it took was one call with her and I was ready to come she help me feel better just from the phone call. Jasmine very attentive she got us What Our pup wanted and if my pup happy I’m happy! Nurse: Dannie Wonderful allowed me to express myself by telling her what’s wrong and what’s going on with our pup she was super nice and Friendly. Gracie jumped so high wanting her to pick her back up so Once again my Pup happy I’m happy!! Dr.Gouzoplous, I love his personality I felt like I was talking with a friend he made it clear on what we need to do and how we should go about things. He Gave her the Treats that she is in love with and playing with her building a bond with her. He is amazing!! These are my Kind of People I’m dumping my Other vet and coming here.

As a pet owner, it’s always stressful when something is wrong, and I was especially worried about Moose’s ear. They made the entire experience so much easier by getting us in very quickly and taking my concerns seriously from the start. When we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming to both Moose and Rex. They took the time to thoroughly examine Moose’s ear, explain what was going on, and walk me through the treatment plan in a way that was clear and reassuring. Fantastic experience: I am extremely wary of Vets. I think they over order, and push more than necessary. I wish I could give this place 100 Stars!!! Absolutely incredible from the phone call, arrival, consult. My 7 months old puppy had a stick stuck in his nose, and I was a disaster. The Vet and her front desk and Tech made me feel so comfortable and trusting. They didn’t push me to get more done and let me take things 1 step at a time. Very fair priced which was another bonus. Thank you so so so much to this place!!!

Fantastic experience: When my dog unexpectedly began having seizures, I was in complete panic. I couldn’t reach my regular vet at Banfield Pet Hospital because they were closed, and I was frantically calling around for help. This veterinary office answered immediately and was open 24 hours a day — and with very reasonable fees. From the first phone call, they were calm, compassionate, and reassuring. They walked me through what to do and told me to get there quickly. Although my dog ultimately could not be saved, I find comfort knowing he was in the most loving and capable hands. The care and empathy they showed during such a heartbreaking moment meant more than I can express. Since then, they have also treated my second dog, Madison, who previously had medical issues that were not properly addressed elsewhere. They performed the most thorough exam I’ve ever experienced, and she is now doing so well under their care. I have even brought my new puppy to them because I feel completely confident and blessed to have found this team. They offer late-night appointments, which makes it so convenient for those of us who work during the day, and they are truly always there when your fur babies need them most. 10 out of 10. I am beyond grateful for their compassion, professionalism, and dedication. Highly, highly recommend. ❤️

The customer service was outstanding, and everyone was helpful, polite, and kind. I brought my cat in for an emergency, and since I was by myself, I truly appreciated how supported and cared I was. The team took great care of my baby, explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and the surgery was a success. Stephanie was especially polite and wonderful, as were the veterinarian, who explained to me every step, and also every member of the staff. I am very grateful for the care and compassion they showed us.

Fantastic experience: Having a great experience here I have 2 dogs. One is a new puppy. They are amazing, friendly and all the people that work there always do the right thing toward our family. Make sure to enroll in the executive membership program though. That will save you some money. That’s the puppy Barkley that just finished his visit.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to have found family pet medical. After taking my cat Leo to 2 different vets, they were the only ones who truly listened, cared, and were compassionate. The first vet we went to said Leo was too “spicy” and couldn’t even administer fluids for his fever. Within 5 minutes here they were able to get him out of his carrier and get him on fluids and antibiotics. Huge difference in places. From the front desk staff to the nurses & drs they are so kind and caring. They quickly examined Leo and found out what was wrong. He had to be hospitalized for 2 days and I completely trusted Dr Ferrera and honestly all of the staff to look after my baby while he healed. Within 15 minutes of being home he is back to the happy, affectionate, and playful cat he was before he was sick. We couldn’t be more grateful thank you so much Family pet medical & Dr Ferrera.

Negative experience: I visited the ER here a few weeks ago and it was an awful experience. Dr. White broke my cat's tooth while they had him in the back conducting imaging. When he was returned to me and I inquired about the blood coming from his mouth, he told me my cat bit his tongue and assured me that he checked his mouth to ensure it was nothing more. When I got home, I could clearly see I was lied to as his tooth was hanging out of his mouth. How a doctor can miss something so obvious and send a cat home with a broken tooth is disgusting and shows they do not care about the animals they service. My regular vet had to pull my cat's tooth due to the medical malpractice from this facility. The entire visit at Family Pet Medical Center was not only traumatizing for me, but for my cat, and he has not been the same since. Save your pet from being traumatized and further injured due to their malpractice and lies from their staff and don't even bother going. Instead, drive a mile south and go to VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group), which was a night and day difference.

Fantastic experience: Our beautiful Sphynx Bean needed a C section today. 3 little boys were born natural but their sister just didn't want to make her entrance easy. Dr. Alexeev did an exceptional job on Bean's C section. Her and her baby were ready to come home in 2 hrs.

Fantastic experience: This is the best vet I've ever been to! The staff are super caring and professional, they listened to our concerns and provided us with lots of information and advice. They were also quicker than any vet I've been to without sacrificing quality of care. The hospital director also offered us a discount to spay her so we could afford it more quickly. Overall this was an amazing experience and I feel confident that if I bring my girl Olive here she will be taken care of with love. The rooms were also clean and they played calming music. I won't be taking Olive anywhere else!

My local vet coordinated the transfer after determining surgery couldn’t be performed there for a couple of days, and thankfully Family Pet Medical Center was able to step in immediately. From the moment we arrived, the staff was compassionate, professional, and efficient. They clearly understood the urgency of the situation and acted quickly. The surgery was successful — the blockage turned out to be a rubber ball — and there is no doubt that this surgery saved Zuri’s life. Just one day later, Zuri is already doing wonderfully, and that speaks volumes about the skill and care of the surgical team. The communication throughout the process was reassuring, and I always felt she was in capable, caring hands. I cannot thank Family Pet Medical Center enough for being there when we needed them most. Fantastic experience: Only amazing things to say about Family Pet Medical Center. Dr Ferrera, Stephanie, Matthew and Linda did an amazing job treating my fiance and I's beloved dog Theodore. We brought him on a Sunday at 4am. They diagnosed him quickly, were very transparent with everything and within 3 days, we had our little boy back. Thank you for everything - professional, quick to respond and knowledgable.

Negative experience: We were away on vacation when our beloved dog got sick , we took him there , after he was seen by the vet on call that night ; a staff member came in and put down the price of every single test requesting a payment upfront ( couple of thousands) , and if we want X-ray it will cost additional 600 dollars , then additional 700 dollars for the radiologist to read it We were told he need to stay for fluids , antibiotics With in two days his condition deteriorated, his kidney shut down , we were told he won’t make back home , so we had to choose to put him down We went to the room for euthanasia, we were asked by the nurse ( while he was short of breath ) to make a payment for it upfront ; the vet said two shots , the process was very traumatic , his breathing became even faster after the propafol that we asked the vet to quickly end his suffering with the second shot , within seconds , he stopped breathing, tongue came out and rolled like a cigarette , then what hurt the most , while we are trying to spend few minutes hugging his body and pit him one last time , one of their nurses rushed to the room asking us to leave cause they have an emergency case , so we had to leave quickly without proper goodbye , another nurse came to remove his body in a hurry , and we saw his head fell backward really fast , didn’t support it before picked up , again very sad picture we are left with that won’t be erased from our memory. One last thing I should mention , Dr Ferreira and Jasmin the recipient were one of very few companionate people we met there , other wise , we will never wish to take our pet to that place The demand to get payment before treating our beloved dog , the lack of compassion, and the rush to get us out of the room without spending time , left us scared .

Negative experience: I am writing to formally complain about my experience at your clinic on 12/30 I arrived on time for my dog’s scheduled veterinary appointment and was asked to wait. After waiting for approximately three hours, my dog was never seen, and no meaningful explanation or update was provided. This level of delay, without communication or care being delivered, is unacceptable and extremely disappointing. I rearranged my schedule and brought my pet in expecting professional and timely care. Instead, we left without any service after an excessive wait. Today is January 3rd and I have not received any call or email from your team apologizing for my time waste. Poor customer service!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff was helpful and did great communicating the status of our dog’s care. The head nurse Yaelin, was super compassionate and very kind! They did a great job helping take care of our dog for serious care. We also appreciated the in house tests and the fact that it was 24/7 care.

Negative experience: GO ELSEWHERE. I would only go there for emergencies since they are a 24 hour center. My very first visit with my puppy I made an appointment and even called to confirm only to be kept sitting in a room for an hour until someone came in. Every time I have made an appointment (probably 5-6 times now) I am waiting around an hour to receive vet attention, one time was even an oral Bordetella which took 1 minute to administer. 1) The first time I went there was when I first received my puppy she was having a worm issue. I took her in and they had some standard de-wormer they gave her but also took a fecal sample which was like 80$. 2-3 more visits back there she is still having worms. So I do my own research and find out the medication they are giving her only treats certain worms and not tapeworms, which judging by the photo I had (which I showed the vet) clearly looks like tapeworms. So they gave me a different medication and that ended that. 3 visits which should have been 1. Each visit an absurd wait time. 2) When I took my puppy to get spayed my total bill was almost 1300$. I was shocked. Their pricing for everything is over the top. 3) My now 9 month old puppy got sick from a boarding place, was having diarrhea for 2 days and vomiting bile by the second day. I brought her in for an "appointment" which I made over the phone to yet again wait an hour. During my third trip outside (because my dog has diarrhea) I looked up and called another vet nearby to ask if I could get in, they said "absolutely". I went back in and said "You can cancel my appointment, I am going somewhere else" She said, "would you like to reschedule?" I told her that every time I am here I am waiting hours when I make an appointment and my dog here has diarrhea I cant just wait here. The manager came out and was able to get a vet to see her out in the waiting room which I appreciated so I stayed. To speed it up, the vet wanted to carry out 1800$ worth of services/ tests/ medications for my puppy who probably just had stress colitis from boarding. For some stupid reason I said to go ahead with the pancreatitis test and of course the fecal test along with the medications. My bill was still almost $700. They told me I would have the fecal results in 24 hours and its been 2 days now. Thankfully my pup was better within the day after taking medications. I normally do not write reviews but when it comes to a family member and receiving this level of service and in my opinion scamming their patients... I wanted to let anyone who sees this know what they are dealing with.

Fantastic experience: We brought our dog 4 days ago, turns out he had pancreatitis, the doctors were amazing and our dog got better super quickly, we hospitalized him for 1 night and everything went great. Fantastic experience: My devon rex kitten suddenly not willing to put one leg down, barely walking. Was lucky to try this emergency center that's truly emergency service, like within 10minutes arriving we met the service team and vet. I've been to a few other animal emergency hospital with long waiting and crowded and double the fee, this is the medical center that's truly can do the job, make decisions to heal the pet in minutes and best environment like most of our anxiety are gone as soon as sit down. My cat came home already less pain and in a day started walking normal.

Fantastic experience: Took my cat in after hours and the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. We spoke about treatment options and pricing and left with some medication and a plan. We were in and out in less than an hour. Grateful for 24/7 vets and will absolutely come back in the future, if needed!

Fantastic experience: My boxer Bella was in really bad shape, couldn’t pee on her own. We brought her there and the amount of interest they all took, from front desk to nurses to Doctors was overwhelming. They are so caring and you can tell they work with love and want your pet to get better. She is finally starting to get better and im so glad i took her there. This is my new place for any of my dogs needs.

Positive experience: I ound the way the vet spoke to me to be a bit rude and condescending. However, he did have a Russian/Ukraine accent, and in my life experience that's just how those people speak. The front desk (when I first called) said they have in house payment plans. That's inaccurate. They partner with a company caller "cherry", similar to affirm or klarna. They were also extremely slow in providing services despite not being busy at all. My dog was literally the only patient there. They gave me a list of what they recommend be done, and they weren't pushy at all, asking me which recommendations I wanted to approve for that visit. Which I appreciate, as vet services have gotten so out of control with the cost. Idk that I'd say they're any more affordable than other vets, but they don't push services, so you can pick and choose what's most important (and affordable) now and what can wait.

Fantastic experience: At 1:30 am last night, my 15 yr old Chihuahua had thrown up and was pacing, looking incredibly uncomfortable. I called Family Pet Medical Center and spoke to Ben and explained my situation. He was very friendly explaining the doctor was in surgery but urged me to come in within an hour or so. I drove the 45 minutes it took to get there but I have to say it was so worth it! Ben was warm and welcoming and once I met with Dr. White, I could see that he leads by example. He was so gentle while examining my poor stressed dog, speaking in a soothing voice to keep him calm. Once he knew the diagnosis, he explained the treatment plan thoroughly and answered all my questions. I was extremely impressed with the level of care and professionalism I received from Dr. White and his staff. I felt the estimate was fair and i was informed before any treatment was applied. It's very obvious their love and commitment to healing their patients! Definitely would recommend bringing your fur babies here!

Fantastic experience: Caring, loving people who worked with us to save my cat, Stewart’s life. I couldn’t bear putting down an otherwise healthy young cat because of cost and they made it work. Stewart is now on the mend and is much better. We are going to visit him tonight. I took my little dog there once before and they were so kind I knew they were the ones to go to for help. Fantastic experience: My dog had a bad ear infection and they got us in immediately and treated him the same day. The staff is patient (my dog is very fearful) and took great care of him. We get our annual shots and nail trims done here as well because we like the staff and the price.
