Negative experience: Dr. Sasher initially seemed knowledgeable and attentive to my cats, and my first impression of the medical care was positive. However, I am leaving a one star review due to serious concerns about the hospital’s lack of transparency regarding billing and financial policies. During my first visit, I walked out with an unexpectedly high bill for what I believed was a routine checkup. I was never clearly informed that the lab work included both a blood test and a fecal test. I only completed the blood test at the time and later found out that the fecal test had also been included in the charges. When I brought my other cat in, another fecal test was required. At no point was I informed that I had 28 days to submit the sample. I was later told by Tiffany that I had received a phone call explaining this deadline. That is incorrect. The call I received was simply a follow up and did not mention any deadline. Now I am being told that the lab requires submission within 28 days, and as a result, they will not refund me even though I never received the service I paid for. If there is a strict deadline tied to a prepaid service, clients should be clearly informed. If the service is not rendered, the payment should be refunded. I PAID FOR A SERVICE THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE. Transparency and clear communication about costs and policies are essential in veterinary care, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Fantastic experience: Hands down, Dr. Harpe is truly the best of the best. His emotional intelligence and genuine compassion are remarkable. You never feel rushed at one of his visits. He takes the time to collaborate with you and thoughtfully brainstorming a plan of care. He’s transparent about pricing and never pushes unnecessary diagnostics. We are honestly blown away. We need more Dr. Harpes in the world! We can’t thank you enough for everything you have done so far for our pup!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Pharr Road Animal Hospital, and I really loved it. Dr.Brittany Marche was excellent, thorough, snd kind. The entire team was professional and accommodating. The facility was inviting, neat, and clean. It was an all-inspiring welcome to care for my fur baby!

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk in the door, Pharr Road Animal Hospital is first class. The reception staff are so attentive, and they remember the pets and their humans by name. My dog(s) have been clients of PRAH for over 20 years seeing Dr. Steven Winokur, who took excellent care of my sweet rescue dogs both before and after (with age) they developed heart conditions. Recently, I have had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Nathan Harpe. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable. He also has the best interest of the pet at heart, and takes the time to explain clearly what a given situation means and what treatment choices are available. I cannot say enough about both of these wonderful doctors, the vet techs, and the entire practice at Pharr Road Animal Hospital.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Harpe & Jenna! We adopted Tucker from Pharr Rd. as a senior patient. Jenna, a practice manager, helped us through the adoption process. She went above and beyond to meet me with Tucker (aka Buster) many miles from Buckhead. The staff is very friendly, kind and professional. I love how Dr. Harpe is so thorough and explains every part of the exam when Tucker came in for his senior exam & bloodwrk.Tucker needs a lot of care as he has renal disease. I trust them with our other dog, Pebbles, too. She came in for her annual visit this year. I trust the staff completely!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I have found this practice to be highly unorganized and falling significantly short with regard to quality pet parent customer service (which of course, is essential to quality pet healthcare). Additionally, the staff and veterinarians provide subpar communication and fail to respond to pet parent phone calls and messages in a timely manner - or at all. Sadly, both pet parents and their pets are at increased risk specific to their health related concern(s) when a practice has poor business operations and disconcerting communication actions. I strongly encourage pet parents to consider other veterinarian options for their beloved pet(s) healthcare needs! (Response to Pharr Road Animal Hospital's comments): Please note that quality pet parent customer service, effective communication, and skillful management of properly trained staff should be an inherent part of your daily practice operations. Additionally, this should not require engaging in further discussion with reviewers to potentially address / resolve these ongoing problematic issues. Rather, it is the onus of the administration (veterinarians included) to ensure professional and essential practice and staff management, and thus, the rendering of quality pet owner and pet services!

Fantastic experience: Dr Bittick, Sam, and Lindsey were all amazing with our cat. He got hit by a car and they worked swiftly and efficiently. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: These days, thank goodness, we can go in with our pet. I have found the exams to be thorough. My puppy, Peaches, had a very unusual cyst and Dr. Haight systematically tested her to see what was up. She was able, with persistence, to identify what was wrong and then remove it from my pup. Dr. Haight answered all my questions in a prompt and professional manner. Now Peaches is her bouncy self again. I highly recommend this vet!

Fantastic experience: Hope just received a Bordetella Booster. She is always welcomed so affectionately during her visits at Pharr Road Hospital. Technicians and veterinarians are always nice and efficient.

Negative experience: I went to Urgent care of Dunwoody in the past, which I believe is closed, and their website directed me to Pharr Rd Animal Hospital. I called with a question regarding a medication that was given to my dog for an ear infection as my dog had been given many treatments in the past but whatever one-time medication was given to him at the appointment is what finally did the trick. I ended up speaking to Lexi who had no idea why the Urgent care of Dunwoody website directed me to them and had no idea what I was talking about and was very snappy. She said she could put me on hold until someone was available (she let me know very rudely she was the only one at the desk at the time) and begin listing more reasons why she couldn't help me. When I told her I would hold for a doctor, she cut me off and placed me on a long hold which eventually was disconnected. I understand being busy is nobody's fault, but treating potential patients like a nuisance and wasting my time by putting me on an obvious fake hold is beyond disgusting. I had a sick dog and just wanted some assistance. I even had the list of medications/procedures from that day in an invoice, I just was having trouble knowing which one was even for ear relief. Huge waste of time and terrible customer service.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is courteous and professional and attentive to needs of animals and their owners. Pharr Rd is an outstanding veterinarian facility.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Pharr Road Animal Hospital for 30 years, during which time I have had 15 greatly loved cats, several of whom lived to 18 - almost 21 years. We have experienced many diseases and crises over the years and I have always been confident with and grateful for the quality of care and compassion shown by all of the doctors, technicians and support staff at PRAH. The doctors are individually exceptional, but also dedicated to consultations, communication and referrals whenever complex situations would benefit from further input. The technicians are impressively well trained and professional in dealings with clients. The practice is efficient and well managed and the staff remarkably stable. Over the 30 Years I have been a client, I have never been unhappy with the care given my cats or the respect shown to me.

Fantastic experience: Kind, caring and professional. It's a great combination when you are worried about the health of your pet. Dr. Sasher is thorough and understands geriatric pets.

Fantastic experience: We moved from Texas to Georgia for a relocation and in the midst of the chaos, our senior dog needed surgery immediately for a toe amputation. We called every vet we could and no-one could see us in a timely manner. Pharr Road was able to without an issue. Our pup, Sadie, saw Dr Snead and she was nothing short of incredible. She is so kind and thorough. We came in Monday and by Wednesday our pup was having surgery. Dr Snead knew how anxious we were about the surgery and texted us from her personal phone to let us know how the surgery was going. She even checked in with us on her day off. I'm very grateful for Dr Snead and the wonderful staff. Thank you so so much!

Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment via phone yesterday. Today when I arrived, I was told I didn't have an appointment but I could "walk in" which was over $100 more than the original price that I was quoted. Its a very unfortunate experience seeing it had such great reviews and I wanted a place I could trust with my baby.

Fantastic experience: We needed to have a lump looked at on our dog. Dr. Marsh is absolutely great and Leo, the dog, is thankfully fine.

Fantastic experience: I had an outstanding first experience at Pharr Road Animal Hospital today! I recently moved to the Buckhead area and needed urgent care for my fur baby. From the moment I called, Trey was incredibly courteous and efficient, quickly finding a spot for my dog despite their busy schedule. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Trey, and within minutes, the amazing vet tech Montse took us into the exam room. She was gentle, professional, and truly attentive to my dog’s needs. Shortly after, Dr. Sacher came in, addressed the issue with great care, and clearly walked me through the next steps. His calm and confident approach was exactly what I needed in such a stressful moment. If I had to sum up their service in one word: AMAZING. I’m so grateful to have found such a compassionate and professional veterinary team right here in my new neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: i called Pharr Road Animal Hospital when our cat Lulu was having complications from a surgery done by a different vet. That vet wouldn’t see her but Pharr Road had me bring her right in and took such good care of her. i will always be grateful for their kindness and will continue with them for Lulu’s care in the future. Thanks to them, Lulu is back to her old self!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Harpe is the best vet! Very warm with our mini golden doodle. He’s patient with answering any questions we have and you can tell how much he genuinely cares about the animals he treats. Couldn’t recommend him and Pharr Road enough!

Fantastic experience: They are the best. I've had four dogs and one cat that PRAH has cared for. All of the staff is very caring and compassionate. Unless it was an after hours emergency, where I had to take my dog a 24 hour vet, I would not go anywhere else. Dr; Marsh is exceptional and smart.

Fantastic experience: One of the busiest vets I have seen and somehow maintain the highest level of care and customer service possible. Both of our dogs just went through surgeries there and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Very good with our pitbulls who can be a bit high maintenance. We really felt that everyone genuinely cared about our experience which has not been the case at several other vets. Highly recommend if you are in the Buckhead area.

Fantastic experience: I recommend Pharr Road to EVERYONE. They are spectacular in every way. After having a bad experience at a previous vet, having our pups become patients was the perfect decision. I know they will always be in good hands, no matter what.

Fantastic experience: Pharr Rd Animal Hospital is the best vet clinic I’ve ever been to - and I’ve had several dogs, lived in several cities. As soon as you step in the door, you’re met with enthusiasm, friendliness and a strong sense that everyone there cares greatly about pets. My senior pet’s exam came with a thorough discussion about her health that I’ve never before experienced - many vets just rush thru without asking questions or giving feedback. And I was able to ask questions and get thorough answers. I know this facility will help me make my pet’s life the best ever for as long as possible!

Fantastic experience: First time taking my cat (Nixon) to Pharr Road Animal Hospital for a thorough checkup. Best veterinary clinic I have ever visited! Dr. Brittany Marsh and her assistant Aggie absolutely professional and so kind and it was obvious that they truly love animals and listen to your concerns with your pet. Dr. Marsh called me personally the next morning early to go over Nixon's test results saying he was in perfect health. There is a large front desk staff ready to help you as soon as you enter. You can see how happy staff is to work there. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic!! In their eyes, your pet is #1!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic care for my very new puppy! Everyone from the front desk all the way to the vet is helpful, friendly, and truly loves working with animals! We just finished all of our vaccines and they took the best care of Nellie when she went that it is such a positive experience for us both. I’ve called with questions and they do a great job getting back to me and truly giving of their time to share information. I feel at ease with Nellie in their care. Bonus-Nellie loves seeing Dr. Winokur and we truly look forward to going!

Positive experience: Love the staff and care at this practice. Have been a client for 14 years (3 dogs), and Dr Eisner is amazing and helped me through difficult decisions. I gave 4 stars because prices have gone up substantially and mail order prescription service is very slow. As an example, my dog's recent visit and test for a urinary infection was almost $500. Their mail order prescription service has taken weeks to get a prescription which is a problem for a new medication. They do dispense some medications at their location but not all.

We've been coming to PRAH for over 20 years and have received care from all the doctors, and they are all really great! I highly recommend PRAH! We always have great professional and knowledgeable pet care at Pharr Road! Dr. Haight is fabulous. She’s very thorough in her health exams, and she’s gentle and puts my nervous dogs at ease. Plus, she takes the time to explain everything in easy-to-understand ways. In addition, all the staff members are helpful and courteous.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my dogs to Pharr Road Animal Hospital for years. I can't say enough great things about them. Dr. Marsh is amazing. We recently took our dog Louie to see her. He was having GI issues and Dr. Marsh put him on an allergy medication and new food and he is like a new dog! It was definitely allergies all along! I have so much love for all the doctors and staff at PRAH. Rest assured your beloved pets are in the best hands here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Snead did my cats tooth extraction! She was so upfront about the pricing and eased so many of my concerns about the anesthesia process. She gave me updates throughout the procedure and took such great care of him. The techs that have looked after my cats here have all been SO kind & helpful as well. I definitely recommend Dr. Snead.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 would recommend Dr. Harpe, the vet techs and staff to any dog-parent, especially one with a nervous or a commonly "restricted breed". My adopted dog (GSD/Husky) seemed to come with trauma around vet offices. The vet techs have always started with a friendly conversation with me. Turns out, they were doing a slow introduction to allow my pet to get comfortable in the environment and with them before they treated her. The vet techs are very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The front desk staff, whether it's a phone call or in-person conversation, have always been social with me and helpful, always making sure I get an emailed receipt with proof of vaccines or the correct county's licensing envelope and paperwork. Best for last, Dr. Harpe. He reminded me of my long-time Vet out of Kansas (now retired), but even better! I never thought I'd see the day. Dr. Harpe is never allowed to leave the Atl area! Our pets need him. Dr. Harpe was incredible with our dog. Our dog even wagged her tail when she approached him, which never happens at the Vet. Dogs pick up on human behaviors, and it was pretty clear my dog knew Dr. Harpe came with a sort of ease and comfort, which clearly transferred to her. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Thank you all for your patience, compassion and flexibility to ensure my pet has the best care with the least amount of stress. You are all one of a kind in your field.

Fantastic experience: Today, I came home to find my dog had eaten 6 months' worth of heartworm medicine. I was panicked and terrified. Thankfully, I rushed to Pharr Road Animal Hospital (we had just been there two days ago for his annual checkup, which is why we had the new meds). Despite being in the middle of a company meeting—they had a sign on the door saying, "We're in a meeting, but we can help"—I knocked, and they immediately saw my distress. They welcomed me inside without hesitation, took me to a room right away, and cared for my dog as though he were their own. Dr. Haight, Dr. Winokur, Dr. S, and the entire staff were beyond incredible—so calming, so professional, and so compassionate. This was a true emergency, and I couldn't have asked for better care. I'm so grateful to have them as my vet. They’re amazing every day, but in moments like this, they truly shine. Thank you all so much! If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Fantastic experience: I took my new 11 week old Miniature Pinscher pup to PRAH for his second round of shots and a wellness exam. All of the staff seemed to be kind. Dr. Eisner and her vet assistant “D” took great care of my baby! Dr. Eisner was gentle with him and explained everything thoroughly to me. At the end she even offered a complimentary ear cleaning and nail clipping which I appreciated. I’m so so happy that we found our vet home with our first vet experience.

Fantastic experience: This is a repost because my opinion is the same! Dr. Marsh is wonderful. My old rescue dog Maggie does not like most people and she trembles and is so afraid to go the vet. But once Dr.Marsh comes in the room, Maggie calms down - which is a great relief for me also! We are big fans of her!

Fantastic experience: Dr Sasher is an excellent veterinarian, and I highly recommend. She provides a caring, thorough approach and we’ve been going to Pharr Rd for over 10 years.

Negative experience: Similar experience to the other low reviews. Took my cat here for itchy sores on his head and they looked at him and could not give any diagnoses charged me $200+ for revolution plus and an antibiotic. It got worse, their treatment plan which I had to followed up with them 4+ times included a quote for $1450-$1750. Took him to a place in canton and they diagnosed him with allergies and he is doing amazing. Thank god I didn’t stay for the unnecessary procedure and price. There are better places to go.

Fantastic experience: I brought my goldendoodle in for an emergency visit after she stepped on a wasp and was in a lot of pain. I did not have an appointment, but the entire front desk were all so kind and helpful. I was able to see a veterinarian almost immediately and they were able to identify what my dog needed to make her more comfortable. I’m so thankful for everyone who works there and have decided to continue to take my dog there for her annual routine vaccinations moving forward.

Fantastic experience: Pharr Road is by far, the best vet. I feel my dog is loved, I feel like we’re not overcharged, and we’re never asked to pay for things that aren’t truly necessary. Dr Haight makes me and Cooper always feel at ease. She absolutely phenomenal

Fantastic experience: Pharr Received Animal Practice will far exceed yournexpectation. This practice has the experience to handle and recommend any situation your dog may have. We are a 23 year loyal t this practice and have faced many different illnesses and situations. This practice is bringing in new doctors that care about your animal and have the ability to learn from the best. I highly recommend developing a relationship with this practice. Love them with all our heart and trust them.

Fantastic experience: They are the best vets around! Everyone is so loving and caring towards my pets. They take the time to thoroughly explain and investigate your animals health issues. I highly recommend any of the doctors at Pharr Road Animal Hospital.

Fantastic experience: Pharr Road Animal Hospital has been our chosen vet for our 4 cats for several years now. No matter the doctor available, we consistently have high quality expertise and care. The cost of nail clipping is too much, so do that at home if you can! Otherwise, it’s $38 per pet.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Snead by a friend and I’m so happy I was. I’ve been looking for the perfect vet and I’m already beyond impressed. My dog has been dealing with skins issues for 2 years now and I felt like I was getting a lot of temporary fixes, Dr. Snead already has a plan in place to make sure we tackle it head on and long-term. In addition to that, just 3 days after my first appointment I called in because my dog was stung by a bee and Dr. Eisner immediately hopped on the phone to talk with me. Can not recommend this practice enough! I’ve seen many vets in Atlanta and this has been by FAR my best experience. Rupert will be a Pharr Road Animal Hospital patient for life

Fantastic experience: When I moved to Atlanta a few years ago, I was so sad to leave behind our previous vet. She walked me through several of my previous dogs passing over the rainbow bridge and I knew she cared about my pets as much as I do. I struggled finding that same kind of service in Atlanta. I bounced around a few but recently moved down the street from this vet. In the last few months, my dog has suffered from an injury on his toe that won’t heal. We had at least 5 different vet appointments at other clinics. I decided it was time for another and brought him here to see Dr. Winokur. I was absolutely blown away by the care and service this team provides. They listened and addressed all of my concerns. My dog can be very hard to treat at home as he can have owner aggression when he is stressed out. That makes treatment options difficult. Dr. Winokur came up with a treatment plan that allows us to try something that won’t harm the human-animal bond that is very fragile right now. We see Dr. Seibert, a prominent behavioral vet, later this week. Come to find out, the staff here is very familiar with her and her work so I feel very confident and honestly quite relieved that such a fantastic care team can come together to make life easier for me and my baby!

Fantastic experience: My cat, Roma, is wonderfully cared for at Pharr Road Animal Hospital. Dr. Nathan Harpe, his vet, is a compassionate, kind, patient and knowledge doctor. He spent at least 20 minutes with us, explaining options and best solutions for his care. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Harpe in particular!

Positive experience: Edit: My comments about the excellent vet care remain. My only update is that the front desk staff has gone downhill substantially. It seems like they've hired new people since COVID. They're often rude, unknowledgeable, and disengaged. I'm disappointed. I still love Dr. Harpe and Dr. Haight. They're excellent. But gosh, the front desk needs better training. I dislike interacting with them. Original: I have been bringing my two cats to Pharr Rd. since they were kittens (they're both 3 years old now). In these 3 years, I have had exceptional experience after exceptional experience with the front desk staff and the vets/vet techs. The vet I see regularly is Dr. Harpe and he is, hands down, the best vet I have ever worked with. I grew up in a home with a number of animals so I got to experience lots of different types of vet MDs over the years. He is by far the best. He is thorough, caring, attentive to my cats, communicative, and he takes his time to make sure I understand what's going on with them each and every visit. Most vets I have worked with don't even really know the animals and they're in and out faster than you can blink an eye. Not so with Dr. Harpe. I highly recommend him. The costs are also very reasonable! I pay less at Pharr Rd. than I did at another local vet (I tried them out briefly before switching to Pharr Rd.) by a substantial amount. Honestly, you can't go wrong here. Reasonable pricing, excellent vets, great front desk staff, top notch COVID protocol.

Negative experience: Front desk here needs a lot of work the doctors here are nice but the first desk is so disconnected and not pleasant. It’s like they don’t even like animals. I’m contemplating switching vets, because I just don’t like the interactions with them at ALL. Being that they are the first people you encounter upon visits it’s really a turn off. I was siting waiting for my doctor my last visit and they were gossiping but barely acknowledged us when we walked in the door. Doctor Snead is so nice though so I’m still thinking about it…

Fantastic experience: Best vets in Atlanta. Over the past 30 years they have taken care of my cat, then another cat, then a dog and another and another! Recommended to all my friends and so far only positive feedback. Peace of mind for my puppy!

The staff was so wonderful with my dog Tali - clearly animal lovers who have just the right touch so she felt comfortable and confident. The quality of care and treatment is second to none. My current veterinarian is Dr. Traci Sasher who I’ve had for at least 15 years and she is simply exceptional. Her knowledge of veterinary science is outstanding. Her patience and care for my pet during times Of annual exams or treatment makes me feel like we are family. She goes the extra mile to ensure that I know my pet matters to her. When we have questions or concerns our voices are heard and she responds with support, guidance and kindness. Fantastic experience: Dr. Marsh is truly the best - she is warm, engaging, and thorough with her explanation of current and future treatment. Her recommendations always are well-explained, and as owners, we feel we have complete understanding and control over our course of action (with tremendous support, regardless of our decision). With our previous dog, Winnie, she addressed her cancer diagnosis and prognosis with empathy, care, and made us feel like she had all the time in the world to discuss options - we never felt rushed or that she needed to move onto her next appointment, and we felt heard and listened to. With our current dog, Ziggy, she treats her as our own, listens to any concerns, and it is clear that her dedication to her patients is truly one of a kind. Absolutely would not recommend anyone else - a true 11/10!

Negative experience: I got quoted $800-$1000 for my two dogs to be updated on 3 vaccines. I called another vet and they quoted me $150. The way this location upsells and tricks its clients into doing unnecessary work is jaw dropping. I’ve worked in animal welfare for 3 years otherwise I would’ve never been able to realize this…. Unless you’re made of money, go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place to all my pet lovers. I recently took my fur baby here when she did not want to eat or drink water. Dr. Marsh and her staff were the best on helping us and making us feel comfortable. They are all very friendly and easy to work with.

Fantastic experience: Had to finally write a review, and I never do, as my guys and I are so well taken care of at this veterinary clinic and have been for years. Beginning for us with Dr. Almand, who was so smart and so caring. Now, Dr. Brittany Marsh is our go to. Unfortunately or fortunately for us, our first visit with Dr. Marsh was putting to sleep our little corgi. We still talk about her treatment of us and our dogs that day. She put a bed down on the floor for Perry, so that our other corgi, Erin, could crawl in with him and lay with him while she did all the “doctoring” part. If you don’t think we were bawling, you’re not a dog owner. Her treatment has continued to be so loving and careful. She too is smart and intuitive. We love her and trust her and she always greets us so warmly that we feel a community at Pharr Rd. Now we have also gotten to know Dr. Kimberly Haight. Again, smart, caring and warm hearted. These doctors are stellar veterinarians with bedside manner to match. Last time, I had the good fortune of being assigned Montse as our medical assistant. This young woman was darling and sweet with our corgis and talkative and openly so friendly with us. She went above and beyond bringing the medication and bill into the exam room to manage it all there so we didn’t have to stop at check out! Additionally, scheduling, billing, etc is managed very efficiently by front staff and all in all makes a great place to bring your pets!

Fantastic experience: The team at Pharr Road is easily the best in the state. For years I brought my older dog in to see Dr. Marsh. Every visit she made sure all of my questions were answered, and my nervous pet was comfortable. Her experience, extensive knowledge, patience, and all around professionalism made me a lifetime and loyal customer. When it came time to make the tough decision to put down my pet, Dr. Marsh made an effort to review all options. The day of, Dr. Marsh was an emotional necessity for me. Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE. I have been taking my pets here for over 10 years and it is NOT the same. My pet was put through unnecessary medical procedures 6 months ago recommended by the medical director Brittany Marsh where another doctor performing them within the hospital did not understand why it was recommended in the first place and they ended up refunding me. Most recently, 2 of my pets were sick and they offered to leave them there for an hour to perform the blood work they needed, which I agreed. They received additional medicine and care without anyone informing me and I did not know until I left and discovered this through an emailed invoice. When I came to pick them up to discuss the bloodwork results I was left in a room for almost an hour. I called the front desk within the exam room and they would not allow me to leave and ignored me. I never got the information or the care but was charged an insane amount of money for nothing, and also ZERO remorse, all from Medical director Brittany Marsh. The lack of compassion and professionalism with this group has rendered them now incompetent and untrustworthy. Do not take your pets here- they will NOT get the care they deserve.

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my Wheaten terrier here for years. Could not be happier with the care she has received. Today in particular there were two more “lively” dogs in the waiting room and the staff moved quickly to get them into an exam room to calm the other dogs and prior to that checked me in at the opposite end seeing I was uncomfortable. It’s the little things!

Fantastic experience: The team is very helpful and the Dr. Harp by far is one of the most amazing and knowledgeable vets we’ve ever met. It was our first visit there and the clinic asked us to send them our cat’s records. We sent them all we had and we were amazed to hear that Dr. Harp read all 175 pages of our cat’s record the night before our appointment. I’ve never seen that before, usually other vets will ask me to give them the records but they will act like they never looked at them. I was very nervous to switch to another vet, but the tech and the vet were incredible.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Marsh did an amazing job on our 2 great dane surgeries. She and her staff were very accommodating to our worries and concerns. Dr. Marsh was very thorough with her examinations and took all precautions necessary to ensure that our pups were good surgical candidates. If you have a large breed dog, this is the place to go. We chose Dr. Marsh because she offered laproscopic surgery and her demeanor was very comforting. Thanks for all that you and your staff does Dr. Marsh!

Fantastic experience: We have never had such excellent care as we have had at Pharr Road Animal Hospital. We’ve seen two of the vets there, and each has provided gentle, thorough care to both of our cats over the past five years. We would be lost without the vets at Pharr Road because both of our cats are now seniors and have multiple health issues. There are a lot of excellent vets in Atlanta, but you cannot find a better group than the group at Pharr Road Animal Hospital.

Fantastic experience: We love this vet office! The office visit is a bit pricey, but we keep returning because the vets are all so knowledgeable, helpful, and naturally curious. The vet assistants are absolutely wonderful too. One time we had to come in without an appt due to an emergency situation and they set us up in a super cozy private room with food, water, and a litter box and the vets popped in when they could in between appointments. We will always be loyal because of how well they treated us in a stressful situation. Also this office has a lot of resources for holistic care. There is a behavioral therapist on staff and they can make their own herbal supplements in house. No matter the issue, you can trust Pharr Rd Animal Hospital!

Fantastic experience: I rarely post a review, and since most reviews are done only by those who feel slighted (or worse), I don’t give much credence to reading them either. But in hopes that this review is taken seriously, I want those interested to know how much I appreciate the care of the staff and Doctors at PRAH. In particular, the incredible service and loving care given by Dr. Sasher and Amber, our vet technician, is so above and beyond, that it makes me humbled, and so very thankful. Our pup Katie, and Scout before her, benefited greatly from their professional expertise and warm hearts. If considering a vet, look no further than PRAH. You will be in excellent hands and hearts.

Fantastic experience: Over the course of three visits, I feel confident that the doctors and techs here treat their patients as if they were their own pets. Both my nervous and fearful older cat and my four month old kitten have had great experiences here that haven't always been replicated at other vet clinics in Atlanta.
