Negative experience: My dog, Peach, passed away a few months ago. This was her primary vet, and most of the time I wasn’t shown empathy about her condition. She suffered from constant UTIs and was given antibiotics basically all her life (every 5months at least) I remember asking after her 4th UTI if there was something wrong with her kidneys, but according to them they had done x-rays to discard the possibility of gallstones. I do believe my dog could have gotten a better treatment plan considering she was only four when she passed. Hey kidneys started failing and it was all of a sudden. I took her to hermitage animal hospital and we were welcomed and treated very kindly even though we only had two visits there. She was euthanized there and they weren’t only interested on the transaction which I can’t say the same for southside animal hospital.

Fantastic experience: We had the absolute pleasure of working with Southside Animal Hospital for over 10 years while caring for our beloved family cat, and we cannot say enough good things about this incredible team. From boarding during family vacations, to routine check-ups, to specialized medical care, they have been a constant source of support, expertise, and compassion throughout every stage of her life. Several years ago, the team at Southside discovered that our cat had breast cancer. Because of their thoroughness and quick action, they were able to perform surgery right away and refer us to the specialists at BluePearl for chemotherapy. With their collaborative care, ongoing check-ups, and regular chest X-rays between treatments, we were blessed with nearly eight more years with her. Those years were a gift we will forever be grateful for. They also provided incredible ongoing care for her chronic vomiting issues, offering thoughtful guidance, medication management, and consistent follow-ups. It never felt rushed or dismissive — they truly listened and worked with us to make her as comfortable and healthy as possible. Whenever we boarded her for family trips or during a recent move, we always had complete peace of mind. The staff treated her with such kindness and affection — she was not just cared for, she was genuinely loved and spoiled. Knowing she was safe and in gentle hands made all the difference. Sadly, she passed away this month when the cancer returned. Making the decision to say goodbye was heartbreaking, but Dr. Steele and her team helped us through it with such dignity, compassion, and tenderness. In one of the hardest moments of our lives, they created space for love, grace, and respect for our girl. We will never forget that. Dr. Steele and her entire team are absolute saints — kind, attentive, incredibly talented, and truly collaborative in their approach to care. Over the years, we’ve recommended Southside Animal Hospital to friends, and several of them have had equally wonderful experiences, which only reinforces what an exceptional practice this is. We’re still processing the loss of our pet, but we hope that one day our hearts will be ready to adopt again. When that day comes, we will 100% return to Southside Animal Hospital and trust Dr. Steele and her team to care for our future pet, just as they did for our beloved cat. Thank you, Southside Animal Hospital, from the bottom of our hearts. The love, dedication, and support you gave our family will always be appreciated and remembered.

Negative experience: “Very disappointing experience. My dog Coco was clearly unwell but did not receive urgent or proper attention. After delays and poor handling, we lost him. I hope this clinic improves its responsibility and emergency care.”

Fantastic experience: They always take good care of my baby, and take their time to explain everything.

Fantastic experience: I showed up at their door early and without an appointment and also a new client because my dog, Mazie, was very ill. Being a tech, I pretty much knew what was going on with her and they were amazing the way they worked with me with her diagnostics and care. They were very compassionate and made me feel as if I had been taking her there for her entire life. Thanks to everyone that made my experience a good one being as that it ended with such sadness. I will recommend you to anyone and everyone that is looking for a primary care hospital. Thanks again, and I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: i was recommended southside from my manager and i am very grateful for it. my dog had issues breathing and southside allowed me to book a last minute appointment to get her seen. the entire staff was absolutely amazing and super kind and transparent. i was so grateful for their care for my dog and making me and my entire family feel comforted. i will definitely be returning for all of my animals and continue to take them for their visits. thank you to doctor weaver and our nurse and front staff!

Fantastic experience: This is a long review so I’m going to start off with a shoutout to Amber. She’s an amazing person and I’ll explain why below. I highly recommend this place. It’s filled with the most kind people who love animals and humans. My dog wasn’t even a patient there but she was very sick and I couldn’t drive anywhere due to the ice storm. This clinic was the only vet walking distance to me. I walked my dog over there in a stroller because she couldn’t walk and we walked through woods, a church parking lot, and across Nolensville Pike. Not easy on the best of days let alone after an ice storm. I finally made it and the staff took wonderful care of my dog. I was dreading the walk back though and Amber, the vet tech offered to give us a ride! Above and beyond what I would ever expect and then she went further beyond that as she loaded the stroller into her car while I’m holding my sick and dramatic dog. Amber is amazing. Southside is amazing. Bring your pet here!

Positive experience: *Reporting on behalf of a bereaved friend* It is never easy to lose a pet, but there is a minimal level of service expected from the staff of a trusted veterinary provider. The good folks at Southside provided a number of memorial options. An urn and paw print impression were selected and paid for in full. Unfortunately, the receptionist took the money but didn’t bother to place the order for the paw print impression. I get it - everyone has a bad day. Everyone makes mistakes. But this is literally THE LAST THING we will have to remember a pet and you can’t get that right?!? Sure, a refund was given, but that is little consolation. Southside has robbed a grieving customer of a tangible reminder of a treasured friend. Do better, Southside. Do better.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Southside Animal Hospital for probably 20 years. The doctors and staff have always treated my animals like their own. Being welcomed by Casey and Megan at the desk, to techs in the back with the vets, to staff who care for animals when boarding to the doctors who are compassionate & friendly. You can’t find a better clinic for your veterinary needs.

Fantastic experience: The staff was kind and took us right back. My dogs are aggressive towards other dogs and they accommodated us. Dr. Anderson called on Friday evening to discuss our senior dogs labs. She was knowledgeable and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Southside Animal Hospital! Had a great recent experience where my dog was treated like one of their own. So appreciate the care given to all under their care. Steve in particular was especially attentive to my little guy and I could tell was quite comfortable with him. From their health care, to bathing and grooming, to boarding I am happy to give Southside 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: Been using Southside since getting my puppy at the recommendation of my roommates. They have been excellent with every visit I've had with them. Very friendly to both me and my puppy from the front desk to everyone in the back. Vet visits are never fun but Southside at least makes it as easy and welcoming as they possibly can. Will continue to use them as long as I live in the area.

Positive experience: Wanted to update this because we recently had an issue with a staff member. I was in there about a month ago and asked the newer counter person, Becky, a question about medication. Instead of choosing to say she didn’t know, she gave me false information which in turn escalated the situation and resulted in her insinuating I was attempting to neglect my dogs. Now when we call, she knows it’s me and treats me with an extremely fake nice attitude and always hangs up the phone with a nauseating level of passive aggression. I am happy to deal with literally any of the other counter people and we have been coming here for many years with no issue except for her. I have been taking my animals here for maybe two years now and they’ve been consistently great and affordable. All of the staff is very kind, I have only had one issue recently where a male staff member made a point to tell me that my dog peed on him a little. I understand that would be frustrating early in the morning but 1). If you work at a vet that is 100% going to happen at some point and 2). I do not control when my dog urinates. I am not sure why he chose to tell me that when I couldn’t have prevented it and I can’t bring him a new pair of pants.

Fantastic experience: My little dog & I love Southside! They take great care of her always! We had to have my daughter’s seen by Southside on the spur of the moment. They were awesome!! They worked us in & filled out our important paperwork. They are so accommodating & took excellent care of this new dog!!

Fantastic experience: Staff made us feel welcome from the time we walked in the door. The Doc was amazing - she listened and gave her advice. Snuggles was so relaxed around everyone which is always my big concern. She has been through so much and it made my heart happy to see her loved on!

Fantastic experience: 12/10 recommend. We love Dr. Flinn! Transferred our 3 pups to Southside Animal Hospital after a poor experience with another vet. Last year, Dr. Flinn was by our side as we lost our 'Pup pup', helping us understand her current condition, making us feel comfortable with our decision of deciding 'when', and putting us in contact with an amazing at home service. Last month, Dr. Flinn performed surgery on our other senior dog (12y/o), and she and the team took such amazing care of him and kept me updated every step of the way (they know I am a worrier). Our boy is healing well, and back at it! We end up being in a little more often because our youngest gets ear infections (doodle), so we have also seen Dr. Anderson, she is great too! I trust all the pet docs at Southside, so makes it easy when we need to schedule a last minute appointment and get in quick.

Negative experience: I’ve taken my pets here for the past few years, typically see Dr. Flinn - she’s great but honestly I’m going to change clinics. The front desk staff is so unpleasant, Cassie or Casey? has also been rude and not personal every time we come in. Wait time is long to.

Fantastic experience: Our first visit to Southside was very welcoming by staff and vet. A complimentary exam was provided (We appreciate this.); and then an update on a booster vaccine was administered.. A good overview of Kentji's wellness answered concerns that occasionally come up when one wants the best for a dear companion. Our warm thanks!

Positive experience: I am confident that my dog is getting good, competent care at Southside. Keeping a pet healthy can be expensive, but having a good staff is very important.

Fantastic experience: Update 6/21/25: Staff and Doc’s are still great and very accommodating! We had all 3 of our pups in for nail trimmings and were out in 20 minutes. I highly encourage giving them a try! Update! Dealing with Southside is always a pleasure! The entire staff loves our dogs, knows their names and spoil them when they go in for their treatments and check ups. They are also very accommodating so it’s very easy to get in on short notice when something is going on with our pups. All of the Dr.’s take great care of our doggo’s! They, along with the Tech’s love our girls as much as we do. There is no bias in their advice for the dog’s well being. Highly recommend! Update: I had to take two of our girls in for shots and a check up after thinking one had an issue with a tooth. Turned out she was fine. Dr. Steele is always amazing, as are the other docs! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Our dog started having some serious unexplainable issues. We called Southside Animal Hospital, our vet, and they got us in immediately. He was in intense pain and having a lot of scary symptoms. They worked professionally to uncover what was going on, checking for any possible reason for what he was experiencing. They ran tests and prescribed the appropriate medication’s, The Cost was very reasonable and fair. They’ve even called twice to check on our puppy and he has completely recovered and is doing great! They go above and beyond, and I couldn’t be happier with their team!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Southside for a couple of years now with my two male dogs. They have always been very pleasant and knowledgeable. Dr. Frank would be my favorite thus far, but the other vets I have seen are really great as well. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so sweet. My dog hates going to the vet and always has and acts accordingly. They are always willing to listen to my suggestions to help keep him calm and provide great care with a very difficult patient. Everyone is always sweet to him even if he is giving them a stare down at the same time. They also make it so convenient to schedule appointments or refill meds all I have to do it text and they quickly take care of it.

Fantastic experience: My cat, Leonardo, and I had a very pleasant experience at Southside Animal Hospital. Leo had an exam, vaccinations, and stayed for boarding while I went on a 4-day business trip. All of the staff was attentive and accomodating, and Leo was in great condition when I picked him up after my trip. He was calm and content, and his coat looked beautiful! After returning home, he was immediately back to normal with no (re)adjustment period required. I highly recommend Southside Animal Hospital for pet medical care and cat boarding needs.

Fantastic experience: My established vet was full for the next few days and my dog was SO sick. They fit me in within 2 hours of calling and treated her quickly and it didn't drain my bank account! My sweet Macy finally has relief and is now sleeping away on the couch. Thank you so much for helping my sweet baby!

Fantastic experience: Southside has been one of the first vets I’ve ever fully trusted with my babies. They helped me so much with my Zoe’s skin allergies over the years, took exceptional care of her when she had to get many teeth removed, and were there to comfort us when we found out that she had kidney failure. I lost my sweet Zoe in April, but I feel so grateful to Southside for always being a trusted resource for us, and for helping me take care of her over the last few years. Though we euthanized her at home, Dr. Topp even sent me a hand-written card letting me know she cared and that she was sorry for my loss. The people at this facility truly care.

Update: My dog suddenly was having difficulty walking. Her back legs were not working. I called Southside and they fit her in right away though they already had a full schedule. Negative experience: Just realized 5 years later I never posted a review!! Or maybe I did, and maybe you deleted it. Thank goodness I checked, I would never want somebody feeling comfortable enough to bring their dog here. Took my dog, Buddy, a Boston Terrier to the vet in April of 2020. He was sick and lethargic and y'all practically dismissed all of his symptoms and sent us on our way. Buddy began taking the medication as prescribed only to turn up WORSE after taking them oh but let me not forget to mention, also dead. Completely gone. Buddy was 5 years old and was simply sick. A 5 year old dog should be able to fight an illness, especially after being prescribed antibiotics. A 5 year old dog who had a family that loved and adored him more than anything else. A 5 year old dog that could have been saved if you had cared enough. I had to find my baby limp and lifeless on the couch the day after taking him to this "vet". I do not know if y'all have done anything different in the recent years but I just wanted to make sure I left this review in case anybody was wondering if they should come in with a sick dog, don't, they'll basically kill the dog for you, and charge you about a grand to do it. I now own a black lab, who is my world. If you were the only vet in the state of Tennessee I would drive to another just to avoid ever having to come into this office again. I understand that dogs get sick, I understand dogs die, but what I don't understand is how a dog who was just feeling under the weather dies not even 24 hours after taking your so called antibiotics. If you have a dog or a cat or any animal and you love them and hope to see them tomorrow alive and well, don't go here. I will continue to tell every single dog owner that I know not to come here.

Fantastic experience: I love taking my puppy here! I’ve tried several vets in Nashville, and all of them pale in comparison. Even if I had to drive 40+ minutes to get there, they’re well worth it.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here is amazing! My sweet baby Charlie had a dental cleaning and work done. I appreciated how the assistant came and talked to us after the surgery about everything. The next day we got a check in call to see how Char was doing. Very compassionate care; I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We bring our 3 dogs to Southside and we love them! They notify us when our dogs’ vaccinations go out of date, they made it very easy to schedule them and when we bring them in for their vaccinations they’re very quick (we’re talking under 2 minutes), which is awesome for our anxious dogs. When we bring them in for issues they take their time to listen and are very up front with what they need and what they recommend. They’re awesome and we recommend them to anyone looking for a vet for their dogs!

Fantastic experience: I changed over to Southside Animal Hospital because Dr. Sara Anderson is in practice there. She has been taking care of our senior cockapoo for several years now and I just could not bear to lose her compassionate care for Darby. The team there was really wonderful when Darby went in for her first check-up. Dr. Anderson was AWESOME as always!! Special shout out to Kat for her sparkly personality and attention to detail!! Highly recommend this clinic!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Flynn was an incredible vet to my two dogs, Baila and BJ. She was there for me when Baila was diagnosed with a brain tumor and would still check in despite Baila seeing an oncologist at Blue Pearl regularly. She was there for me when my senior pup, BJ, was diagnosed with kidney disease. Dr Flynn always provided her knowledge on the subject but never pushed me. She always made me feel safe to address my concerns and answered any questions I had. She never showed judgement and was always empathetic and understanding. Both my dogs have crossed the rainbow bridge but if I were to get another, I would want Dr Flynn as their vet. I’m so thankful I had Dr Flynn to walk alongside me in my journey with my fur babies.

Fantastic experience: This is the first vet that has taken my cats vomiting seriously. It turns out he has IBS which 2 other vets missed. Great people and great organization, I would recommend this vet for anyone’s beloved pet.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I made the change in veterinarians. Dr. Flinn is so gentle and kind. My boyfriend made the switch and had an equally great experience with his bigger dog who is scared of everything. From the front office staff to technicians, and veterinarians; all exceptional.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful office with wonderful docs! They got us in very quickly and were very attentive to our needs. Money is tight right now and they were kind enough to give us some samples of the medication we needed. They also called to check in a few days after our appt to see how my cat was doing after being ill. I also have family members that take their pets here and we all love Southside. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my dogs to Southside Animal Hospital for 25 years. They have always done an excellent job, whether the visit was an annual physical, vaccinations or diagnosing disease or other health challenges. Her most recent visit was vaccinations. The doctor also checked her diabetes and she got a good report. They also ran tests to check her general health—also a good report. I have full trust in Southside personnel and plan to continue using their services.

Positive experience: The care is good but the prices are extremely expensive. I have family and friends who go to other vets and the basic services such as tests, some surgeries and teeth cleaning, as well as the medicine they have, are not that expensive and the prices are more reasonable so we don't miss out on any care for our beloved pets. I wouldn't like to change vets because I've been going to them for almost 20 years but I may be forced to do so for the sake of my finances.

Negative experience: Dr Steele is great. I’ve always been happy with her care of my dogs. Sadly each time I go the fees are higher & higher. I will have to stop bringing my pets here as I can no longer afford it.

Fantastic experience: All I can say is wow. Our pup got a bone stuck in her mouth, and they removed it super quick. They were compassionate to our issue and relieved what otherwise would have been a very stressful night. Can’t recommend Southside enough.

Fantastic experience: We have been bringing our dogs and cat here for years. They have taken great care of our pets and really responsive when you have questions but aren’t sure a visit is medically necessary. My cat loves them so much he has faked being sick a few times for attention.

Fantastic experience: Southside is by far the best animal hospital we’ve ever used. We’ve brought our cats and dogs to them for 14 years. We recommend every pet owner we know to them. Highly recommend all of their vets but especially Dr Weaver.

Fantastic experience: I took my cat to Southside Animal Hospital for his yearly appointment, and Dr Top found a mass in his mouth. The fact that she even found it was impressive. My cat is a fighter at the vet, but she noticed the mass as he was hissing at her. Talk about attention to detail! The possibility that the mass could be cancer was terrifying, but Dr Top was informed, provided good information/guidance for next steps, showed sympathy, and fit me into her already full schedule for my cat to have surgery and biopsy the mass the following week. She was also understanding of my financial concerns. Dr Top was able to extract all of the mass and was patient with me as I asked numerous questions before and after surgery. She called me herself to communicate the results- no cancer! But inflammation caused by gingivitis. She then recommended water additives for cats to promote dental hygiene, and I will be taking my cat for a dental cleaning in the new year. I thank God and Dr Top for the great outcome and for taking care of my fur baby. Especially when he can be a handful at the vet. I’m impressed with Dr Top’s ability and professionalism, and I am happy with the process as a whole. My cat seems to have a new lease on life and is playing more now that we got that nasty mass out of his mouth. Thank you Dr Top and team!

Fantastic experience: Southside always takes excellent care of my boy, who is pretty anxious being away from home and away from his family. So grateful for them being so patient and kind! Special shoutout to Abbie, who made sure to do everything possible to keep Finn comfortable and happy.

Positive experience: Southside Animal Hospital is great, very friendly and helpful, and the hospital always appears clean and organized! My only issue is the cost for operations like neutering, I ended up taking my far somewhere else to be neutered just because of how expensive operations like that are at Southside. But aside from that, southside is fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Southside Animal Hospital, Dr Top in particular was compassionate when a kitten I adopted became deathly ill. She was there every step of the way with her wisdom and guidance in helping me decided the best course of care for my kitten. Unfortunately, there was no treatment that would cure her. Dr Top with by my side while my kitten crossed the rainbow bridge. Can’t say how appreciative I am for Dr Top and staff.

Positive experience: I am usually happy with Southside but I was given incorrect information for boarding purposes. I was told I could pick up my dogs on a certain day but was then told I would have to extend their stay. I was also told I could pick them up at 7:00 am but they weren’t ready for pick up until 7:30 so I was late to work. I was told that they would speak with the manager about these issues but I haven’t heard anything back yet.

Fantastic experience: I’ve brought my dog here for everything from a routine checkup to anasthesia tooth extraction. Second vet I’ve been to and it’s night and day how amazing this one is. They truly care for my dog and are very personable with people and their needs. Would recommend to literally anyone looking for quality care.

Positive experience: Loved the staff, super easy and transparent process!! My only complaint is my appointment was extremely rushed and I didn’t feel like I had the space to ask all the questions I needed to, but it may have just been an off day for the vet! Overall I had a great experience

Fantastic experience: We’ve used Southside for years. My last visit was for our new pet boxer, Olive . We adopted her and the staff treated her so well. The checkin staff was busy but efficient. Nicole, our vet assist , was so caring. Dr Spivey explained all the questions thoroughly and took a lot of time with us.

Fantastic experience: Southside has always made us and our pets feel special. We feel Dr. Weaver and staff are highly competent and kind to us. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I don't have to worry about finding a good veterinarians office after moving here from another state. The staff was very friendly and I got the feeling they truly cared for my 2 best friends. I haven't had a lot of dealings with them yet but I am pretty sure I made a good choice. I have a brother who's a veterinarian in another state and told him what they said and did and he said "You are obviously better at picking out a vet than you are a wife". So I have that going for me ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: I have had a wonderful experience at Southside Animal Hospital. The staff is terrific, particularly Steven. He is very kind, listens well, pays extra attention to my dog and it’s owner, and is quick to find answers to any question I have asked him. I highly recommend Southside Animal Hospital. Our pets are fortunate to have such great care in Nashville.

Fantastic experience: My family and I started taking our puppy there about a month ago and we have zero complaints whatsoever. The staff is warm and welcoming, the facility is clean (for a place that has fury friends in and out constantly), the price is exceptionally affordable, and the Vets (and attendants) are thorough.

Fantastic experience: Southside has been our go-to vet for a few years now and every experience has been pleasant and helpful. They were very accommodating when my dog passed away and they take great care of our new one!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 starts I would. Worst customer service and so freaking greedy! They don’t care about the animal as it’s all just financial transactions. They are never on time. Every visit is at least 20 min of waiting past your scheduled time. The “owner” sometimes helps out when it’s busy and all he cares about is billing more money. I just needed the vet to check my dogs ears to make sure he didn’t have an infection, something that can easily be done. He took a sample and had it analyzed as well as medication just to add extra $ to the bill. I took my dog to his old vet in MO and shocker he didn’t have an infection. Tried to give them another chance after that visit and every visit just gets worse. Scheduled an appointment just for monthly shot and they tried to charge me for an exam as well to add cost. I understand a vet practice needs to make money but this is just greed. If you love your dog, don’t bring them here.

Fantastic experience: I took my Great Pyrenees, Buddy to Southside Animal Hospital for a second opinion when I was encouraged a few days earlier by another Vet Clinic to schedule surgery to have a large lump removed from his back. This Vet Clinic made no tests other than the one they had made with positive results a year earlier and there was no change in the lump. The doctor stated her belief that the lump was cancerous & surgery would be needed to remove it, but without testing. Thankfully, I did not listen to what the other Vet Clinic suggested & I scheduled an appointment for a second opinion at Southside Animal Hospital. My appointment was at 10AM & a very nice lady came & took us to an exam room just a minute later, no waiting. The girls up front was also friendly & nice. I think Buddy & I really lucked up when we were seen by Dr Weaver. She was the nicest, kindest person ever & I felt she really cared about Buddy, not like so many vets in the past, just push & shove, hurry up, get your money & get you out the door. As it turned out after Dr Weaver made tests, Buddy was 'fit as a fiddle" & did not need surgery. I think it is despicable that a Vet would suggest surgery on an animal with no tests whatsoever, just what they think & with dollar signs in their eyes. Needless to say, Southside Animal Hospital will be our place to go from now on. I would recommend it to anybody that has been looking for great professional care for their pets BUDDY GIVES DR WEAVER 11 STARS!!

Fantastic experience: Southside always takes such good care of my dog, Wilson. If something is wrong, they never hesitate to tell me to bring him in. Even if they are booked up. So grateful to have them near me.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sara Anderson has been so caring and compassionate with both of my dogs. She was especially kind with my dog, Scout, who had been diagnosed with cancer after having a high-grade mast cell tumor removed by a different vet 1-31-23. She gave me various options if I start to notice symptoms that his condition is worsening. As his cancer progressed she walked through it with me. Thank you, Dr. Anderson, for being the kind, caring vet I have been searching for!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love the vets at Southside they are so kind incredibly diligent and very flexible when giving information about potential treatment. By this I mean they do not push anything on you. They give you the information and encourage you to decide what is correct for your Pet. This is quite unusual for vets, my previous experience in other places have been, a hard sell and almost making you feel bad for not excepting certain treatments! I would absolutely recommend this surgery handsdown! Thank you for how you care for my miss Millie. Our family appreciates you greatly.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed the kindness and care we received. The staff took extra care to clean and spray the room with calming cat spray so my kitty would not be too overly stressed during the visit. They treated her with care and I felt more at ease than usual. Cost options were shared with me up front too.

Fantastic experience: Loving, careful, thoughtful and helpful. They’re very polite and have helped our two cats and one dog live a happy, healthy life. We had an issue with our dog having allergic reactions to vaccines. Southside offered our pup, Mallow, free antibiotics, pain meds, and service to make sure he was well after his vaccines. They are very understanding and show true care and attention to detail. Would highly recommend these folks.

Fantastic experience: When my kitty was diagnosed with diabetes, I was so overwhelmed. I couldn’t wrap my mind around what life was going to be like for us with me having to hold this feisty cat down and give her shots twice every day. I have called this clinic several times in the morning in tears and they have always been so compassionate and helpful and gotten us in quickly. Everyone from the doctors to the vet techs and the front desk staff have been angels to us. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone with senior animals who need intensive and compassionate care.

Fantastic experience: Southside Animal Hospital vets and staff are knowledgeable and efficient. They thoroughly communicate and do their best to assist with any issue. When I loss my Rosie, they made that transition as easy as possible and were a comfort. This team is personable, relational, and highly competent in their care for pets. My dog Ty remains healthy and comfortable as he grows older thanks to their expertise and care. I can say nothing but great things, especially to Dr. Anderson, Dr. Steele, and front desk staff & Vet techs.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my dog to Southside since I got her a year ago. Everyone is so nice and personable. Desiree was so nice!! The ladies at the front desk were cool!! I highly recommend this place because they are very knowledgeable and professional.

Fantastic experience: My lil dog was SO SICK! She had to have surgery, to save her life. I am SO THANKFUL for the quick attention to my dog. So far, . . So good. I LOVE this Vet Hospital. And I love my lil critter! they understood how much my dog means to me.. FAMILY! My daughter has 4 legs!

Fantastic experience: I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my fur baby! I have a cat so can only speak to feline care but they are excellent with cats and are very kind/responsive to owners! Also appreciate that they give you a cost estimate before care is given!

Fantastic experience: Great people who truly care about your pets. They give you all of the options and recommendations while not pressuring you into anything that isn’t absolutely necessary. They also have a very caring way when we had to say goodbye to my mom’s dog. Highly recommend!
