Negative experience: We had a frustrating experience with BluePearl Pet Hospital in Feb 2026. While my husband and I (owners of dog) were on vacation, our dog got into an opened box of Tagalong cookies. The petsitter (my daughter's boyfriend) called us in a panic and told us what had happened. He panicked and took Oz to Blue Pearl. He told us to stay near our phones as we would need to approve of any treatment as the owners. Oz was showing zero signs of distress and never did. Nobody called us. Blue Pearl charged us $620.31 to induce vomiting (which was not necessary) and we would not have approved it had we been called. While we were waiting for the call, we researched the chocolate content in a box of Tagalongs. There are 2 ounces of milk chocolate and no dark chocolate and our dog weighs 36 pounds. We appreciate that emergency vets provide an important service, but the charge felt extremely excessive in light of what they did and due to the fact that it was unnecessary. I believe that they took advantage of this young man's fear. I offered to pay $300 to resolve this, but my petsitter had already paid the full amount, so Blue Pearl refused to consider a fair price. They also tried to sell him a $30.00 can of dogfood, but he knew that they were just trying to sell him anything that they could. Frustrating!

Fantastic experience: They have been great for our dogs in emergency and nonemergency situations. One of our dogs sees Dr. Vose to manage his diabetes and Cushing’s disease. She is great with him and his health is doing better under her guidance. He’s also happier and just enjoying his life more. It’s a 180 degree change from before he started being seen.

Fantastic experience: The staff & doctors were very informative & communicative regarding treatment and price. They took great care of our boy, Copper during his several day stay for digestive issues! They made us feel at ease that he was in good hands and would receive the best care possible and explained everything thoroughly to us❤️ Copper is doing much better and seems to be pretty much back to his normal self again. This is our second visit with 2 different dogs and we were highly impressed with the services provided. We will definitely continue to use BluePearl in the future when/if necessary!

Fantastic experience: Blue Pearl went above and beyond for me on the hardest day of my life as a dog owner. After a local pet urgent care sent us home twice, I went to Blue Pearl for answers. Fantastic experience: We had to take our dog here while traveling after she ate something on a walk and started to act really odd. Turns out she consumed THC accidentally, they were so kind and helpful, and got my poor stoned baby taken care of. I am so grateful that they were able to get her in right away and determine that it was THC she had ingested, they gave her fluids and nausea medicine as we were continuing our travels and we didn’t want her to get car sick. I would highly recommend this emergency veterinary clinic for anyone who needs great care in a pinch! We love to travel with our dogs, so it’s so good to know that there are places that will accommodate visitors as if they were regular patients. Thank you Blue Pearl and your wonderful staff! We would absolutely choose this establishment in the future if we are ever in a similar situation.

Fantastic experience: BluePearl was amazing to us and our pup during a very terrible time. Unfortunately, we had to let our dog go due to health reasons, but they were so compassionate and gave us as many options as they could within our budget and the circumstances we faced with him being almost 17. Fantastic experience: Had a very scary moment with the puppy last night. I have NEVER been to an animal emergency hospital and I was in quite the panic not knowing what to expect. And felt terrible seeing my pup in pain. From the second I walked in the door they were sooooo nice and took Fynn back immediately and got him all fixed up. He was very scared but came back out a happy normal pup. Can’t thank this place enough! ♥️

Positive experience: Thank goodness for a 24 hour emergency vet clinic! My poor dog had a UTI and needed help on a Sunday, the clinic was of great help! The only reason knocked them down two stars- which I get it’s a busy clinic, and maybe a UTI isn’t on the top of peoples list as considered an emergency- but she had to sit with us in the clinic (not a happy puppy), for 3.5 hours before she were seen… which kinda sucked. The entire experience was 4 hours- and we didn’t get home until it had been 5 hours… long story short, be prepared to wait if they’re not “dying” on the table.. :/

Fantastic experience: I had to take my cat in for a urinary blockage and they took such good care of him!! He is home and back to his normal sweet happy self. But what i’m more impressed about was how they took care of me. Every single person I had an interaction with could not have been nicer. They explained everything so well to me and never made me feel bad for asking questions and calling for updates. It was a super scary situation but they helped give me peace of mind through it all. Fantastic experience: After waiting hours at other facilities around town Blue Pearl got my dog right back. They were very kind and understanding. They offered several options to help my dog until she could be seen at her regular vet. I definitely will recommend to my friends and family if they ever need emergency services for their pets.

Fantastic experience: We brought our little Gabe to be examined by Dr Pawenski for a problem with limping. We received the BEST of care! Juan was our vet tech and he was great! The desk was manned by friendly, caring people. We never had to bring a pet to a specialist before, but a friend recommended Blue Pearl and we are so glad we came! Dr Pawenski was such a good listener and he started a plan of care for us and sent the information to our vet back home - so we could continue it without driving exclusively to Nashville. We never felt rushed and were so happy with the whole experience.

Fantastic experience: Last week while I was out of town attending a veterinary conference, my Bandit was attacked by coyotes and suffered numerous puncture wounds all over his body. As a veterinarian, this is one of the scariest phone calls I can receive while away from my baby. I cannot thank Blue Pearl enough and Dr. Noel for the care he received. Fantastic experience: I took my cat in during a major ice storm when my vet was closed. Everything was closed, but Blue Pearl was open treating animals. My little cat had a bad UTI and could not wait until her vet opened. She was seen almost immediately. The staff was at shoestring level but they were all courteous and caring, and my cat was treated well. The vet, Dr. Noel, was great and concerned about her ongoing care. Got antibiotics and pain med. Dr. Noel knew my cat hurt and was concerned. Great emergency medicine for my cat.

Fantastic experience: I had to bring my 16 year-old sweet kitty here for breathing problems late one night. While these situations can quickly go south, the vet team was extremely prompt and thoughtful. They received my cat immediately to take vitals and get an assessment. The vet on staff was very attentive and thorough in presenting me with next steps as we ruled things out. While I was in a bit of a state of shock and panicked, her techs had great bedside manner and were truly wonderful in walking me through some scary decisions. I was there for about 4 hours while we waited on the radiologist report, and they checked in on me and updated me throughout, even letting me back to see my cat after the x-rays. When I had to bring her in the next night for some unrelated leg pain, they waived the exam fee since it was within 24 hours and the whole team was just as on top of it, responsive, and caring as the night before. Nobody wants to find themselves having to go to an ER, but I’m so glad Blue Pearl is here for us when we need it.

Fantastic experience: Last night I had a pet emergency with two fur babies. I went to an urgent care in my city and was met with the most callous, uncaring staff, so I left. I drove down to blue Pearl and they were angels in disguise I believe. Every single person I encountered no matter their role was absolutely amazing and caring and knowledgeable and I am so thankful for their existence. They are worth every penny because my human family members and fur babies are priceless. They cared about me too as a fur mommy which immediately calmed me right down to my core. Just love them!

Negative experience: Do Not go to this place with your pet unless you have ALL the money up front.. and I am talking thousands!! I only give them 2 stars instead of 1 because of the compassion they showed while I had to put my baby down! I brought him there because of a urinary blockage. I went to clarksville emergency vet first and they confirmed the blockage and I called around looking for someone who would help save my baby without requiring all the money up front. I called Blue Pearl and spoke to the receptionist and let her know the problem and that my baby was gonna die if I didn't find someone to work with me on payments. That I had $800 down and can do $100-$200 a day until it was paid off. They told me to go ahead and make the 45 minute drive there and they would help me. I get there and they take him back only to tell me about 15 minutes later that they could only save him if I had the almost $3,000 dollars up front and that my only other option was a smaller procedure that was about $1000 dollars but it wasn't guaranteed to save him but it would just buy him about 24 hours maybe. So my only real option was to kill my baby because I didn't have $3000 dollars!! So basically if you are poor then your baby is dead!! I walked away after euthanizing him feeling like I was a piece of crap because I couldn't save my baby that I had for over 7 years literally from the time he was born, all because I was poor! I felt like it was all my fault and like I was a murderer all because I didn't have the money.. I still feel that way.. I have spent more time crying in the past two days than I haven't cried.. I basically cant stop crying.. I cant eat.. the only time I get out of bed is when I have to go to my office to work.. other than that im in bed crying and im miserable. I feel like a piece of my heart is missing.. I told them that I could never have kids because of medical issues and that my baby was exactly that, my baby! And now my soul is broken all because this place would rather kill an animal than help it because you dont have all the money up front!! I just want my baby back but instead he is dead and cold buried in a hole in my front yard.. to say im devastated is the biggest understatement of my entire life!! I will never own another animal! My baby didn't have to die.. see he could of been saved, if I had the $3000 dollars.. he could of been saved!! I can't stop replaying him dying in my mind!! Wishing I had more time.. Wishing I spent a couple extra minutes with him.. but the thought of killing him was driving me insane and hurting so bad I needed to hurry and get it done and over with before I changed my mind, because every part of me wanted to change my mind in hopes something could be figured out.. but I knew it would only prolong his suffering.. and now everytime I go to bed I look for him in his normal spot.. everytime I eat, im looking down for where he would always sit and beg for food even though he knew he wasn't getting any, everytime I go outside I look at the spot of where he is buried and I cry.. I am know plagued with the "what ifs" constantly running through my mind over and over..

Fantastic experience: Christmas Eve 2025, it was 70 degrees and sunny. Of course my collie mix was excited to run her route. Around 10am my stepdad had come into the kitchen where I was cooking and preparing for company, and told me he saw my dog laying lifeless on the yard. Everyone ran to assess the situation. I made a dozen calls in my area (Cookeville) and no one was available. The one person who did direct us to this wonderful establishment was rather rude, although, I am so beyond grateful. We loaded Trixie up and headed their way unsure what to expect. They were so kind and greeted her with a gurney, but instead carried her in. We thought she was hit by a car, but the doctor advised it was a dog fight of some kind. After coming home and investigating, we believe it was a coyote or another wild animal. Either way, the staff was incredibly kind, compassionate, and didn’t overcharge a dime. They made sure everyone was comfortable during this difficult process. It’s been almost a month and my baby’s wound has closed up and she is getting back to herself, thanks to everyone here! Still have a long way to go.. but I will forever remember the lovely, kind and caring women here. Thank you for all you do to protect our babies!

Fantastic experience: AMAZING. We had an amazing experience at BluePearl. Our cat came in for a urinary blockage at midnight. The staff was amazing. We were immediately triaged. He was admitted overnight and I had two doctors call me throughout the stay with updates. Wonderful staff who truly care!

Fantastic experience: Had to come here one Saturday after my dog’s dew claws were split and bleeding. Everyone from the receptionist to the techs and Dr. were great! Nothing but great things to say, easy in-and-out. They even billed my pet insurance directly which was nice. I’ll let everyone know the great experience I had with them, five stars all around.

Fantastic experience: Truly one of a kind veterinary care. My cat had to be transferred for overnight monitoring and care for a catheter/removal. He was so thoughtfully cared for at BluePearl, and they were so kind and patient when I called every few hours to check on him. They were communicative and thorough and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my baby’s hospital stay. They have been so helpful even after I picked him up with all of my questions and reassuring when I feel burdensome - I am so so thankful for Dr. Riffe and the whole staff at BluePearl for making this experience so much less terrifying.

Negative experience: Place is a joke! They are all about money and running that bill UP!!! Never came in with an update on my dog or could even tell me what was wrong with him but came in 4 times to have me sign a paper showing me how much my bill was!!! Left there with NO answers a sick dog and $1100 bill!!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately our dog had an allergic reaction and we had to bring her into BluePearl around midnight. As much as I hope to never have to go there again, they did a fantastic job. The staff were kind and genuinely caring. The doctor who we worked with was extremely informative. She really took the time to discuss any concerns/questions. We received thorough updates throughout. Pricing was surprisingly reasonable. The facility was clean and comfortable. God forbid we need to seek emergency care for our dog again. But if we did, we would definitely be coming back here.

Fantastic experience: Blue Pearl on 21st Avenue was incredible. My 10 year old Jack Russell damaged both of his hind legs. His CCLs were severely damaged Dr Pawenski and the tech team were awesome. The surgery on both legs were done at the same time and three days later he was up and raring to go. I had a hard time convincing him he needed to heal and take things easy 8 weeks later his legs are great and the new knees are working beautifully I can’t thank them enough. The staff are all wonderful and the love they have for animals shows!

Fantastic experience: Hey....you guys really changed not only our day...but my outlook on our current situation....thank you so much for the kindness and compassion. I was scared to death. This happened at a time I coukd not take care of it. I recently got really sick due to mold ...hence the no hair...lost a bunch of weight my skin looks terrible and does wierd things....which in turn cost me my job. Right at slow season...so my hair...my apartment...then my job right at the beginning of slow season. The next week all my clothes and blankets ect eetw stolen from a laundry mat. I know I looked crazy coming in and i can inly imagine how we would've been treated elsewhere. This is not our normal at ALL and I forget the situation every now and then ...until I get out of my car like this. Its been very depressing at times but also a great remeinder that you never know someones reason or situation ohtside of that furst glance. Karma is my only family and shes mafe this worth the temporary hardship. I I really thought she wasnt gonna be normal again or worse i was gonna lose her. I dont think I would conrinue to put all my effort into anything if she wouldn't have been ok. Not only did no one embarrass me...but you helped us quietly and unexpectdky wave the exam fee. While im humiliated that I had to ask about payment plans or help...im so grateful for yall. Ill never take her elsewhere. Thank yoj so much for all you do

Negative experience: This has to be the worst clinic I’ve ever experienced. From the front desk to the provider bedside manner to calling with an emergency and the doctor on call refusing to talk to us after spending over $11,000 to care for our pup. There is clinic close to them- highly recommend NOT going to blue pearl. Follow up- Their response to us was “ please Reach out to us”- they have zero interest in follow up. FYI- our dog got worse with the “care” you gave us a s passes on Christmas Day. Your clinic has NEVER once followed up to check on her status. There is a clinic next door folks- I recommend you go there first.

Fantastic experience: I had to say goodbye to my dog at Blue Pearl recently. Everyone was so kind and the doctor was honest but gentle. When it came time to say goodbye, they made it as easy as possible. One of the men there gave me his own peanut butter from his locker so she could have one last treat. They’re great in an emergency and will treat your dog with love and respect.

Positive experience: We had a mixed experience at this pet hospital. The doctor was truly great — very patient, kind, and understanding of my dog’s anxiety and her fear of being touched. She took the time to move at my dog’s pace and made us feel heard, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the front desk experience did not match the level of care we received from the doctor. The reception staff was not very friendly, and when we called after the appointment during the nighttime hours to follow up with a concern, the person who answered the phone was dismissive and unhelpful. The quality of care from the veterinarian was excellent, but the customer service experience could definitely be improved.

Fantastic experience: This is my 2nd visit to Blue Pearl. My first visit was incredible and the 2nd visit was the same. From Dr. Edmonds to the techs they are all amazing. It is definitely worth the drive. Thankfully my pup is recovering and may not have to go back, however if there are any other issues we will definitely be making the drive to Blue Pearl.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say just how greatful I am to the BluePearl surgery team and staff!! My 8-year-old mixed dog had a (very) large lung tumor that we discovered a month ago and Dr Pawenski was a true hero and saved her life! When we found out about the tumor we tried to get her into multiple places to see our options. We took her to a surgeon in Memphis who wasn’t sure if she would survive the surgery and even after that only had about 8 months to live. Her breathing started getting worse so we took her to BluePearl and they were able to get her in with the surgery team the next morning. Dr Pawenski was confident and reassuring that the surgery would go well and that she would be able to recover, so we felt that BluePearl was the best option. The surgery went smoothly and he was able to get the entire tumor out with no issues. We just had the two week checkup and they told us the tumor was grade 1 and they got the entire thing so she’s cancer free! Of course this is the best case scenario and we know how greatful we are of this outcome, but without Dr Pawenski and the team at BluePearl we might not be in this same position. Thank you so much to everyone at BluePearl for taking care of our sweet girl!

Negative experience: The front desk receptionist was confrontational, aggressive. While the doctor was very kind, the price to watch my dog for the day, to see if she would be okay after eating an alarming number of calming chews was 2,600$. We declined. All in all we would not return given the front desk treatment.

Fantastic experience: The service was perfect. No issues at all and Dr. Paw and his partners were very gracious with my anxious pup Spud and I. Fantastic experience: On the day before Thanksgiving, my 4 and 1/2 month old pup somehow ingested one of my pills that made him extremely ill. He is only 5-1/2 lbs. I am 83-85 lbs. His poor little body! My vet had initially sent me to a place that could not help my Jax, and almost 5-1/2 hrs. of valuable time was wasted. By the time we got to Blue Pearl, My heart was sure I would not be bringing my dog home—alive. When we got there, we parked in an area that we could not tell where the entrance was. I had seen a young man come out of the building and discovered he was an employee getting off of close to/after the 7 PM shift. He graciously escorted us to the correct entrance. I apologize I do not remember his name. I hope if his supervisor reads this, they will acknowledge him for the great care and compassion he gave us. He definitely deserves more than a pat on the back! He could have stayed in his vehicle and just pointed us in the right direction. He got out and took us all the way into the building. Maybe a RAISE is warranted—hint-hint! The ladies upfront were very professional and quickly got Jax whisked away to start treatment. Each person who came to us needing information, explaining the treatment plans, and the approximate cost were all so kind. Dr. Noel answered my many questions and informed us they would need to keep him overnight for fluids and monitoring. They would immediately try to get the toxins out of his system as quickly as possible. Though my heart was heavy not being able to stay, I knew he was in the best possible care. Each person who saw Jax fell in love with him – he has that kind of face that will steal your heart instantly. I was allowed to call whenever I wanted for updates but decided the adage, “ No call is a good sign“. Dr. Riff had taken overJax’s care and I spoke with him the next morning. He was surprised that Jax had not suffered any seizures or had to be put on a ventilator. He admitted that more times than not death occurs with what dose my dog had ingested. He had some great tips of keeping my medications from Jax that I immediately implemented. I told him it was not luck as he had described, but prayers of my faithful friends who prayed over one of the best things that has happened to me in a long time. God does care about EVERYTHING we bring to Him. This dog has been a blessing beyond my imagining and the thought of possibly losing him that night near destroyed me. I cannot thank Blue Pearl and each individual staff member enough, for the selfless service they provide and all the sacrifices they make in doing their jobs. God bless each one of these individuals who take care of our precious pets. I will add here that I admit I was sticker shocked with the cost they required upfront. They told me if there was a refund they would definitely do so. I thought to myself, “They are either going to be just a little under or a little over the highest quote.” I was pleasantly surprised that I was refunded almost $800. That tells me they are also very honest in their financial dealings. I can definitely and highly recommend Blue Pearl for any emergency.

Fantastic experience: I had to take my Morkie for double ACL surgery. My girl Juliet i 9yrs old and my baby.. I was extremely nervous and scared.. they explained everything to me step by step. They were very gentle with her... Day of surgery they kept me posted on her recovery. She has never stayed away from me, so this was new for her. Fantastic experience: Very accommodating as we had an overnight emergency and they answered our call at 4am and were waiting for us when we arrived at 4:45am.. The staff and Vet were very welcoming and thoroughly explained the diagnosis and then we sat down to discuss a game plan of treatment. Negative experience: We just came from the blue pet hospital on 21st ave and Hillsboro Rd. Our couple months old puppy passed from a sickness, by the way they didn’t tell us what it was from the first check up we scheduled before this one, Dr. Alda, a doctor at this location was very rude, like a total complete opposite of consoling. We were very heartbroken, she horribly communicated with us about the financial agreements. I Honestly feel that she was hungry for money rather than talking and discussing what we were going to do about this situation and charged us fully.

Negative experience: Let me say firstly this one star review does not apply to the male doctor who had his own Doberman and treated mine with love. He was attentive, patient, kind, and was the only person that did not treat my anxiety around my dog as an annoyance or chore. I brought my doberman in after he drank water out of a family members pool that had just been treated for Winter. I was alerted that they were pretty sure they used some sort of antifreeze chemical in the pool, so I later took my dog to Blue Pearl. Immediately upon arrival, I told a nurse what was going on, and was given poison controls number, and had to pay $100 something dollars to speak to an operator. I found this odd as I feel a vet should be able to determine whether or not something is harmful for a dog. Based off of everything I researched, and what they later told me, it is critical if your dog has ingested these chemicals for them to be treated within 11 hours, after 11 hours there is essentially nothing you can do. So instead of immediately getting my dog care, we sat in a waiting room for nearly 2 and a half hours. Once poison controls took me off hold, I relayed information to the nurse, and she very point blank told me that this will kill my dog. I started to panic and she was very cold, leaving us to wait even longer in this room instead of, yet again, getting him any help. Took them a long time to bring out a super lengthy unrealistic bill after telling me my dog would die, and then asked me if I wanted to proceed. Obviously anyone that loves their pets will go to lengths to save them. When I asked her what could be done if he already had kidney damage, she was very blunt and cold and stated “there are pills he can take for the rest of his life”. When asked if this was so urgent why we sat in a room with no help for 3 hours, and why nothing was done IMMEDIATELY to make sure there was no kidney damage before we paid nearly $5,000, there was no answer. My dog stayed for 2 nights, and since he was stable and doing really well, between visits I asked if they could please trim his nails since they had him on sedatives already. They said “we will try.” Spoiler, when I picked my dog up, after paying $5,000 they couldn’t even simply TRIM HIS NAILS, I didn’t get the treats I brought him back, and they also kept the containers I brought his food in. When I picked him up, they were equally as cold, when he was excited to see me, the nurse rolled her eyes and acted annoyed. Turns out, there were no chemicals used in the pool at all when we heard back from the pool company. So after throwing away all this money, and waiting for so long on a slow night with something that could have been extremely urgent, I don’t think I will ever return to Blue Pearl.

Fantastic experience: Blue Pearl is the gold standard for emergency pet care. My first interaction with them was when they were still located in Hendersonville in 2019. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience and the staff. My most recent interaction with them was on October 25th when my dog got caught up in barbed wire fencing that was down. (we live on a farm) He had a gash on the front of his leg that required stitches. We first went to an emergency vet in Hendersonville and they turned us away, stating that the leg would have to be immobilized, require overnight stay, and require at least two surgeries. We were pretty thrown off hearing this from an animal care specialist, because we didn’t believe it was that extensive. We were also concerned about the severity of the injury. Needless to say, we went directly to this Blue Pearl location, and they took us in immediately. The Vet was extremely confused when we told her what the other emergency vets said about the gash. She instantly reassured us that it would only require one surgery, and he would be out of there as soon as she could mildly sedate him and stitch him up. If you are ever debating whether your animal needs emergency medical attention, Blue Pearl is worth it every time, even if it’s not the closest emergency location to you.

Fantastic experience: We were referred for a second opinion for our senior cat. The scheduling office was extremely friendly and there were many options for appointments. We were able to get in fairly quickly. The location is easy to find and parking is convenient. The receptionist was friendly and the waiting area was inviting and clean. Fantastic experience: I cannot thank the team at BluePearl Pet Hospital enough for the incredible care they provided for my dog! I was out of state when she suddenly became ill at a boarding facility, and a close friend had to rush her in on my behalf. Negative experience: Emergency vets are inherently more expensive, I understand. But $850 for an X-ray before any treatment is even determined, is just highway robbery. I couldn’t come close to affording that, even if my baby was sick. I determined that we should leave with one injectable medication administered and some fluids, and I spent $304 out the door. I was floored by how much I had wasted on nothing, considering my cat was still throwing up after we left. The bedside manner was less than graceful. I just wouldn’t recommend anyone take their pets here unless you can afford to spend thousands of dollars for treatment.

Fantastic experience: My dog was bad off and I didn't want to wait so I took her here. They checked her out thoroughly and let me know that all her vitals were good and lungs were clear. Fantastic experience: After they asked questions on the phone call decided to bring my dog in. They took Lexie right back and came back with her vitals. We felt better that her vitals and basic details were good. They went over plans to find more in depth information regarding the symptoms. We decided that since nothing was as bad as I feared to see our own vet in the morning. They forwarded all of the information to our vet. Altogether very informative, reassuring, and explained everything clearly. I was in better shape leaving and so was my dog.

Negative experience: Nice, clean facility. Top-notch staff. Most are caring and compassionate. Some are money grabbers, just doing their jobs. I was almost convinced to euthanize my cat OR pay them 2K just to evaluate her. I didn't have money for either and I wanted to try and save my cat. Thank God, my husband started asking questions. We made the hard decision to take her home since she was alert, but in pain. After a visit to a local, caring vet, my cat is doing well. She's still here with us...and I paid a fifth of the price. Buyer beware: only take your pet here if you have a LARGE disposable income to spend on your fur baby. Otherwise, I suggest a local vet.

Fantastic experience: I transferred my dog, Bowie, here because NVS oncology was too long of a wait. I didn’t even know what grade of cancer my girl had. So far, I have been really impressed by everyone’s positive spirit and bedside manner of both Dr Williams and Dr Pawenski. Dr P even asked, after her surgery, if Bowie needed a refill on her arthritis meds (which was unrelated, but he saw I listed them). How kind is that?!

Fantastic experience: I loved my experience at bluepearl. The receptionist were super friendly the place was very clean. The surgeon that I spoke to was very knowledgeable and explained everything in complete detail that is going on with my sweet girl pepper. Fantastic experience: Definitely a gem of a place. Pricey like a gem, too…lol. I was referred by my Vet. I have a 16 yr old cat with a tumor. From the moment I arrived, the staff, the techs, and my doctor were 1st rate. My dermatologist was right there in every respect (God love her having to deal with such emotions on a daily basis…part of the job.) I felt empathy. I really felt they cared, that they knew that I had some very difficult decisions to make dealing with one of my best friends—heck, like my kid— for the last 16 years. It’s not easy leading 9 lives to 8. My options were presented very clearly, and I was told that any questions or concerns would be attended to, even after the appointment. I just wish that this standard of vet care was maybe a little more affordable. Excellence isn’t cheap (My personal vet is also pricey—but they’re worth it, too!) Blue Pearl does offer financing via CareCredit. They are usually available 24/7. They’re owned by Mars, a big name in pets, and founded by two veterinarians. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Blue Pearl. We recently were referred to Oncology after a scare with our primary vet and potential cancer mass. From the front desk to the veterinarian, everyone was so kind and took the time to explain the process. Thankfully, the mass turned out to not be cancer and we were informed via a personally written email to share the update. I’ve never received a personal email for my own care, let alone a vet.
