Fantastic experience: Great vet and you can tell they actually care

Fantastic experience: My cat has decided that she loves this vet! And the staff!!! I can not recommend this place enough. If I could give it ten stars I would.

Fantastic experience: The visit went well for 2 cats. They both are old and have issues. I thought Dr. Olsen was very good at establishing what they needed to get better.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Olsen and Staff are absolutely wonderful and truly care about your furbabies. They spend time discussing their care and educating on the best way to take care of your pets.

Negative experience: It has been almost two years since my dog died of negligence at the clinic after a VERY serious and painful surgery which involved rerouting his intestines and removing a tumor, etc. They said if he made it “out of the woods in 72 hours” he would make it and he actually did pretty good that day but I got a phone call the next morning…..my baby had passed away overnight. THEY LEFT HIM BY HIMSELF!!! ALL NIGHT!!! HE WASN'T EVEN AN AFTER THOUGHT! There was NO STAFF whatsoever! Then I found on some notes she put he died of a heart attack! How would she know that? She never told me that. He probably died of a heart attack from extreme pain! He was on MORPHINE (which is SHORT TERM) and another pain medicine I believe? Maybe. But the best part, they want to be paid! Over my dead body! If I ever hear from them again, I will sue the living daylights out of them. I will file a complaint against her with the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. I miss him so much! Do not use this place!

Fantastic experience: The team here was very compassionate and patient. They gave us plenty of time to say goodbye to a beloved pet. They have the process very organized and talk you through the each step. I do not want to ever go through this again; but I would suggest Sheridan Vet Clinic for all pet care. ❤️

Positive experience: This where I’m bringing my dog all the time! I took my dog bear in today because he ate rat poison. The lady at the front desk was was compassionate and got right on it! She seen I was worried and told me “He gon be alright” with a smile that calmed me down.The doctor was super nice and very helpful. Explained everything to me and I was out of there. I don’t feel rushed and they was cool. Price wasn’t to bad either. Went to a few other vets who tried to bust me over the head on the price and they were rude. I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Dr. Olson squeezed in a kitty from rescue going on an airplane transport to Colorado last minute who was having a post-surgical complication from a neuter. She and her tech Kai were wonderful, considerate, patient and “Baby” made it safely and healthy to his transport. Endless thank you for helping us perform a Christmas miracle for him!

Fantastic experience: I called them at 4:30 on a random Wednesday because my cat was showing signs of a UTI. I had never been there before and they allowed me to bring her in without an emergency fee. They saw her swiftly and the tech+doctor were so kind and thorough with my girl. The price was very reasonable and they also have a pet plan you can sign up for to help with major issues or minor issues. I will be using this vet clinic regularly from here on out. Thank you for helping a very scared cat mom ❤️

Fantastic experience: My dog had an emergency after being attacked by another dog on the ear. They were able to get him in and tend to his wounds. Price was affordable which I’m thankful for. So glad my boy was taken care of.

This time I just took him to grooming. I guess that he was being difficult, because by the looks on their faces, they seemed to be a little troubled. I hope it wasn't, too, much. Lol. Keeping the pace. I went to Sheridan Rd. Veterinarian Clinic to get his toenails trimmed. (That's all, this time around!!) They clipped them, but one toenail seemed to be ingrown. They took care of it!! Thanks.

Fantastic experience: They took such good care of my fur baby when he collapsed and had to have emergency surgery for a bleed in his stomach. Ended having a splenectomy. I don’t know what I would have done without them.

Negative experience: Update 2: six months later I had no choice but to use the rest of the services I had prepaid for, and wouldn't you know it, the tech they send in in Mr Josh! And he was just as rude as before, ended the visit with "yup" just like before, and he is literally the only person I have ever seen my dog be afraid of! The veterinarian said my dog's the happiest friendliest dog they've ever met, so then why does she cower to Mr Josh? Because she remembers, and so do I. I will NEVER bring my dog here ever again as long as they insist on keeping one of the worst medical practitioners I've ever met in over 40 years. Update: the tech's name is Josh, and if I wasn't on a payment plan, I would never bring my dog here ever again. He was even ruder when I picked my dog up, and he couldn't even pick a cone collar that fit her, the one he sent me with is still way too big. They also couldn't bother to put her in the collar beforehand, so I'm trying to do all this while in the car. I'm absolutely annoyed that I paid these people $400 but I can get better customer service at Walmart. He literally seemed stoned and just didn't care, ended our phone call with "yuh". This place just undermines my trust in them entirely. Also I looked up their $35 collar online and it sells for $6. I guess they're ripping people off too. You all are way too focused on the pets and not enough on the people. We're the ones with the wallets, remember? Original review: I'm not too crazy about this place. They have a tendency to ignore how owners handle their pets and just say "well you're at Grandma's house now, you can misbehave all you want" which completely undermines training a puppy. Also the technician who met with me for her spay had zero bedside manner, didn't seem to understand their own pricing and discounts, and he didn't even introduce himself, I don't even know the guy's name but I'm handing my dog over to him for surgery. Also they upped the charge by $70 just because she missed a weight threshold by like 5 lbs. They charge for every little thing like nail clipping... Our vet when I was a kid always trimmed claws at every visit no charge, he didn't even ask, he just did it while we were discussing our dog. This place comes across as though their #1 priority is money, and I don't care what medical profession you work in, money should never be above #2 on your priority list. I think after this one year "paw plan" is done I'll be looking at other options.

Negative experience: Left an iv needle inside of my cat's leg post-op, said nothing about it even when asked about it after her surgery and said to "let it fall off naturally" when called twice (it was wrapped in gauss and would not fall off naturally). It got to a point where her foot got badly inflated, called a third time and they finally said to remove the iv needle which I did, that caused my poor baby to bleed a bit but luckily her leg healed by itself just fine. I'm still very upset by the poor communication and the fact they left an iv needle inside of her at all but she is otherwise recovering fine.

Fantastic experience: We just moved to the area and wanted a good vet and a place we could board our two dogs. We found that here! Our first appointment for vaccinations and meet and greet was wonderful. Our two mutts loved the staff (and the treats)! They were treated with compassion and care. Glad we found Sheridan!

Fantastic experience: This clinic is fantastic, because of the PEOPLE!! My dog had a couple lumps that concerned me, Dr Gullic biopsied them, and called me immediately to ask permission to remove one that was potentially cancerous. She provided us with a lot of info and choices and even a lab that could further test the tumor. We are awaiting those results (nervously) but I have complete trust and faith in Dr Gullic and her staff to give the best care and love for my pet. Dr Gullic even sat on the floor with Herc and got to know him which touched my heart!! She cares about her patients and their families.

Fantastic experience: Sheridan road has been my vet for over 5 years and I love it there. The staff is excellent, caring and fun to chat with. Dr Olsen is so caring and kind, she also makes you feel like she cares for your pet just as much if it were hers.

Positive experience: Have just started going there with my new puppy.so far I like the staff and the vet.they take as much time as I need to answer questions I have.

Positive experience: I was the first one in the door the morning I brought in 15-year old Dashoind mix in for immunizations, exam & grooming. I had questions, so I specifically asked them several times to have the Vet call me before doing any shots. (This was not an oversight, as I made sure the front desk had it noted). I was impressed when I received a call from the groomer about 11:30 that morning to tell me about what she found & why she had to shave Willie and that someone would be calling me soon. By 4pm I had not received another call so I called the clonic and was informed that Willie was ready. WHAT? I asked how much it was. $200!!! I asked about his eye...they didnt know. I asked about his bad breath, and was told the Vet would talk to me when I picked him up. I was there in 10 mintes! When I arrived, they gave me a print-out of services. I advised the girl & guy at the front desk that I was upset because I never received a phone call from the Vet before the immunizations were given & that I have questions. The guy at the front desk said he would get the Vet. A few minutes later, a Vet Tech came out & introduced himself and I advised him that I WAS NOT HAPPY about the situation. He acted surprised. I told him that I wanted a 5-minute phone call BEFORE the shots were given & that I dont like to be blind-sided. I asked him about Willie's bad breath and he said that Willie needed "dental work." I asked him what, specifically, and he said "cleaning" and other things but he didnt know for sure. He proceeded to try to get me enrolled in a monthly plan for around $98 for 12 months and said it would cover "most everything." I asked about his eye and he didnt know. I still NEVER talked to a Vet after numerous requests. I am very disappointedin this clinic. I have been using them for almost 20 years and this is the FIRST TIME a Vet has not provided me even a 5-MINUTE PHONE CALL OR A 5-MINUTE VISIT in person to get my questions answered. VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!!

Fantastic experience: Love this clinic, everyone is so nice and caring. Theyre affordable and they do what they can to save you money as opposed to pushing services that may not be necessary. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Lack of professionalism, organization, and communication. Can't believe they would reach out asking me if I'm going to bring my dog back after our experience. I made the mistake of listening to your staff when they told me to return for pickup after normal hours. They made the simple mistake of forgetting the office closes early on weekends; Be warned - double check and confirm clinic times for yourself before leaving your animal for boarding, or you might be left wondering where/how your animal is all weekend with no way to get in touch with anyone. Left notes on their doors with my contact info multiple times over the weekend, a dozen texts and voicemails. They only eventually got back to me on Facebook of all places saying simply my dog was fine and they'd call me the next day (Sunday) which they did not do. Disturbed no one even tried to call me during that weekend, further disturbed no one ever reached out to follow up on what happened here. Caused my family a lot of unnecessary frustration and grief, no one would accept responsibility or take accountability. Sheepish and unapologetic behavior from staff when I finally got to pick up my dog was embarrassing on their part. Staff were frustrated and complaining openly about one another during initial visit. Should have listened to my instincts and just left right then. Facilities are old, dirty and deteriorating. At least, that's how it looks from the exam rooms. The lobby was dirty as if it hadn't been swept in days, much less mopped. Fair pricing. Vet honored an earlier quote on a medication that had increased in price by the time I brought my dog in. I do greatly appreciate that, but that's the only positive. I would've rather paid full price to not have dealt with all of that. There are many other vets in town, many of whom have their act together.

Fantastic experience: Our cat has dental issues. Dr. Regina Olsen is the "cat's meow"! Got us lined out with a plan.

Fantastic experience: Took my baby in Thursday because she was vomiting and very weak I didn't have an appointment but they knew something was terribly wrong and the doctor told the front desk get her in anyways Angela at the front desk is the sweetest I just love her she comforted me the whole time as I was a mess because my dog was very sick and she was my baby she helped keep a close eye on her because she was admitted into the facility for pancreatitis that was raging bad unfortunately the next day she surcumbed to her illness but the doctor called me and my husband in before she passed and we got to talk with her and love on her and spend time with her until she took her last breathe towards the end they tried everything in there power to save her even intubated her but the disease was to much she had only been sick one day before I brought her in but like I said it was to agressive for her body to handle or even process they let us spend as much time as we wanted with her in a private room and went through the cremation paperwork with us everything they did spectacular and went above and beyond to try to save her even with other sick animals there they stopped everything they was doing to tend to her everyone was running around and trying there best they made her pain free and as comfortable as they could we didn't think it would turn out like this but her body couldn't handle it we had 5 years to love her and she was surrounded by love and family everyday and I know she knew it but thank u to the doctors and the staff for trying to save my baby u really went above and beyond for us and they blocked off a whole room for us to spend time with her before they took her off thank u so much

Negative experience: I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received at Sheridan Road Veterinary Clinic. My pet's appointment was supposed to be a routine check-up, but the vet seemed rushed and didn't take the time to address my concerns. The staff was unfriendly and unorganized, and we ended up waiting longer than expected. For the prices they're charging, I expect better care and attention. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this clinic to others.

Fantastic experience: This was my second time taking my dog in, and I was impressed. They do an excellent job finding out what’s going on, and explaining it. They are also very sweet.

Positive experience: dog was sick and found out she had low blood sugar rushed her in they helped I appreciate them for that! went back for a check up she was doin a lot better...there was one vet that came in and said she was going to be expensive because of respiratory problems and asked can she have her like keep her? I thought that was a little unprofessional I don't know if they see people in there work clothes and assume lol but I own a business if I can't I know she definitely couldn't ,we were just running around the track a month ago dewormer other stuff I know my dog doesn't need because we have a family vet we see regularly this was just an emergency and because i decline random treatment till I get a check but have the person who sold me the dog pay for the main treatment that helped my dog she assumes lol ,I payed 1200 dollars for the dog and over 3000 for a couple of vet visits I know how expensive my dog is, if she can't afford to buy one how she goin to afford mines!! I just found that off! But overall they are good people that was the only thing caught me off guard i would give them 5 so give them a try they did help my dog!

Fantastic experience: I took a really sick cat that used up its nine lives a few days ago. I could have been out hundreds or thousands in lab work, but they said saline was a good first step and to go home and monitor. Cat is fine now. I am grateful for their experience and honesty.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for your care & consideration when our dog had to have surgery & for the care when he needed to be uthanized. UPDATE: But the aftercare was a nightmare. Trish has got to be one of the worst managers ever. No sympathy at all. Very curt & unfeeling. Then to thank us for my review. Bad form. You left us in the front, our dog vomitting, for over 30 minutes, without telling the Doctor we were there. Doctor G did a great job after she was made aware we were there by our Veterinary at Southside Veterinary calling to see how Grog was, because she was concerned. Could you have saved our dog? NO. But shame on you for what you did after. We will never use your services again, & we will be sure to not reccommend you, especially if Trish is still there. We were misinformed regarding the cremation & urn. They showed me 3 wooden boxes & an urn. Then after I chose the urn, I was asked if we wanted to inscripe it. I wrote his name & date. Handed it to the staff member. I wasn't given a time, just "we'll call when it comes back" Then a week later we call numerous times, before being told IT'S here. That was our baby, not an it. When we looked at it, there was no inscription. Again, numerous calls. No response from Trish. When she finally calls she has an attitude. Bad managers give a bad review. Our vet called the crematory & ordered an inscriped urn. Their expense. If Trish had just been nicer, we would have agreed that it was a big misunderstanding. It would have been good. We have someone that can make an inscription to attach to the urn. All this would have been avoided IF TRISH HAD BEEN NICER!

Negative experience: So this place is shady as hell I've been trying to get ahold of the manager for days about my dogs remains and this place is just giving me the run around. Finally get ahold of her and she tryst to make it sound like the mistake was on our side. When her employee told us they can do this service so we said yes please do it. They need to train there employees to one know about what your talking to the customer. Two how to be sympathetic to their clients who just lost their loved one's especially when they lost their loved ones at the establishment!

Fantastic experience: Iv been going to Sheridan Road for 16 years. Dr Olson and all the staff are incredible and care so much about my dogs. I know they love my dogs just as much as I do, and my dogs are always happy to be there and get attention from everyone. I originally started going there because it was close to my house, but even after I moved It’s worth driving across town to go there because I know I can trust them and my dogs will receive the best care! I now have 3 GIANT dogs ranging from 100 - 190lbs that some people are afraid of just because of their size and breeds, but they have never had any issues caring for my giant babies from day 1. I can’t say enough good things about everyone that works at Sheridan road!

Fantastic experience: Update 5-30-25: Dr. Olsen at Sheridan Road Vet Clinic is nothing short of a veterinary superhero—minus the cape (though she totally deserves one). This woman is insanely smart, fiercely compassionate, and 100% hustle-free. No weird upselling, no guilt-trippy pitches—just solid, honest care rooted in science and heart. We live an hour away and would happily load up the spaceship if it meant our furkids could be seen by Dr. O. Heck, we’d go to the moon and back with a howling cat and a carsick dog if it meant getting on her schedule. Sheridan Road isn’t just a clinic—it’s an animal sanctuary disguised as a vet office. The staff is lovely, the vibe is calm, and your pets will be in hands that truly care. If your animals could write reviews, they’d give Dr. Olsen five tail wags and a purr chorus. Best vet ever! I've been taking my pups and cats here for over 10+ years. My sister has been taking her furbabies here for 16+ years. Dr. Olsen is a wonderful human being AND veterinarian. She actually cares and is patient with four-legged AND two-legged creatures....despite the busy busy schedule of vets. Oh, and she actually cares about animals?! I've had bad experiences with other vets (overselling, not warm or friendly, confusing billing, etc). Nope, not here. Also, the other vets at this location have been nothing but great, as well. I will never take my pets anywhere else besides to Dr. Olsen and/or Sheridan Road. We drive almost an hour for this place over all other vets in my town and surrounding areas. #NoRegrets

Fantastic experience: I loved it they treated my dog dinkey with care, patience, and love. The ladies there were so sweet and they explained things very clearly to me! Instructions after our visit were very easy! They also gave my dog cheese!! He loved it , he also got very comfortable with them faster than we imagined!! So sweet!!

She answers all our questions and gives us the best advice. You can tell she truly loves what she does. Pricing is much more affordable than other places.

She conducts thorough exams of my cats and provides great advice on maintaining their health. She always has great recommendations on where to go to find good products for my cats. The vet techs are also great. They are very friendly and helpful. The office as a whole is so supportive, flexible, and friendly. I highly recommend taking your cats here.

Fantastic experience: All the people are so professional and so nice and helpful with all of my pets. We go for care, grooming, and boarding. My dog loves the people and loves to go stay with them when I'm out of town. We've been with Dr Olson for quite a few years now. I wouldn't want to go to any other practice. The care plans are affordable, and other pricing is very fairly priced. They are very kind people.

Negative experience: My 10 pound dog was attacked and I rushed him to Sheridan Road, everyone was terrific and caring. Xrays, antibiotics, and pain meds were done and inwas told bo internal bleeding or punctures in important areas but that his shoulder was broken in 3 places and needed amputated. It was right at closing and talked to young vet and she said he has a long road ahead but not life threatening, they cleaned him up and bandaged him and I was to watch him and bring back in morning to possiblly to remove his limb but he passed in the night. REASON FOR 2 STAR IS SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME IT WAS MORE SERIOUS AND GO TO ANIMAL EMERGENCY ROOM, THAT HE IS TO WEAK AND NEEDS INTENSIVE CARE THEOIGHOUT THE NIGHT. INSTEAD I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION HE WAS DOPED UP AND FEELING TERRIBLE BUT HE WOULD PULL THROUGH BUT INSTEAD JUST HOURS LATER HE WAS GONE! IM SO BROKEN OVER THIS, THEY DISNT ATTACK HIM BUT THEYBSEE THIS STUFF MORE THEN ME BEINH MY FIRST TIME IN THIS SITUATION. I AM VERY UPSET I LOST MY LITTLE MAN. Advice to others ask more questions and if things are bad just go to emergency room for pets instead, I spent $500.00 and he was dead hours later. So sad. She should have told me things were life threatening but instead it was opposite.

Fantastic experience: This is Goldie, the stray I found pregnant and about to give birth with the weather dropping below zero within hours. Sheridan Road has taken excellent care of her. We are looking for a good home for her.

Fantastic experience: Sheridan Road Veterinarian Clinic promptly allowed me to bring my dog in after being attacked by a neighbors dogs. They kept him overnight to evaluate him and sent him back home with instructions and medications to continue his recovery.

Fantastic experience: First visit. Love Dr. Gillic who quickly identified good allergies as my dog’s problem and put her on some special food. Have to say she seems to feel better already and is actually eating the new food each time it is offered. Goodbye Apoquel at $200 plus a month.

Fantastic experience: During the lastest visit we had to leave them there for 5 days during which they each got a bath had shots and their nails were clipped. Hans and Schatzie both enjoyed the stay. Thank you for taking such good care of them.

Positive experience: Both doctors are great they have taken really good care of both of my baby's. My Yorkie has kidney failure and since they have started seeking her she has made so much change for the good alot more energetic. . I did get there paw plan they offer and it has saved me alot of money. I have always payed it early a couple of days with no problem but today the lady that answered the phone was very rude told me that was not a thing to pay early . So I'm guessing since you won't take 71 dollars early you won't accept they money for the rest of the months I owe I had the extra money and was trying to pay a couple months in advance most people would be happy but it's OK when I finish out the plan I will be looking else where

Fantastic experience: Vet Techs Adria and Regina were so wonderful!! They 100% saved our sweet little kitten Mozzarella!! Poor baby was constipated so badly, Adria even checked his vitals multiple times after his initial appointment for free after hours because she was just that worried about him!!!

My fur baby that means the world to me had an episode with seizures and it absolutely scared and upset me so much and I loaded him up and went to clinic no appointment or anything but they seen my worry and how upset I was and they went above and beyond to help first my baby then me and I happy to say that my baby is doing alot better and getting better everyday all thanks the everyone at the clinic and I can't thank them enough. So I am always taking him to Sheridan road clinic from now on and couldn't ask for anything more and recommend them highly to other pet parents...Thank you again and my baby thanks you guys as well...

Fantastic experience: In seeking a new vet for my senior dog I tried Sheridan Road. The vets and techs have been absolutely wonderful and caring with my dogs, cats, and myself. They can get my senior dog to cooperate in a way that other vets have not been able to. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: The staff here have worked with me to get my cat treated for bladder issues; I can't say enough good things about SVC. They work hard to get your companion seen promptly, you are kept in the loop about projected costs of treatment and how well the treatment has gone. Their Paw Plan, for my cat's issues, has been a wallet-saver. From the front desk to the medical staff, your companion and you will be treated with respect and care.

Fantastic experience: Our boxer Opie loved the staff at Sheridan Road Vet. They were easy going with him and explained what they were doing. We were able to be with him for the entire treatment and that’s very important to us and him.

Negative experience: Called and spoke with a lady named Katherine. All she could do was loudly tell me she couldn't hear me and hung up on me. Tried to call back and got put on hold. Honestly I just ended up going with a different veterinarian altogether, literally couldn't even get my questions answered to book an appointment for my new puppy.

Fantastic experience: The staff were very kind, attentive, and thorough. Dr. Wads was very informative and patient and the techs provided me with reading materials and online resources for my pet’s condition. They took their time with my cat and myself and were much more thorough and understanding than my experience with a previous vet’s office.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit with SRVC. We had to bring our bunny in and they were so kind an gentle with him. The staff is amazing they took the time to talk to us an give us information to help with our issues. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The lobby and exam areas were clean, fresh smelling and bright. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Gullic was wonderful! She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions and was very sweet. You can immediately tell that she loves animals and that's what makes her a great vet!

Fantastic experience: This is my newest hang out. My darling little furball gets all her needs tended to here. Just have to treat staff with respect, and all entitlement needs to stay in the car. A great place to go if you want your four legged friend to be healthy.

Fantastic experience: My Loki was found to have cancer (Osteosarcoma ) the middle of June today is August 1st and he is an awesome amputee! Dr Golic & Dr Olson and all the girls in the front and back have been marvelous!! I don't even live close to there anymore but it's worth the drive!! Their facility is nice, it's always clean and they have ways of keeping animals separate if need be! I would not trade for any other vets in the world I love my team at Sheridan Road!
