  • Clients have shared positive experiences with how quickly their pets were seen and the overall kindness of our team.

However, some feedback indicates areas for improvement:

  • A few customers noted experiences that left them feeling their pets' needs were not adequately met, emphasizing the importance of clarity and attention to pet care.

Negative experience: Our Miss Sadie Jade is gone. 91/2 yr old German Shepherd. I walked her into her doom on Sunday morning. She was an emergency when we walked in, possible obstruction, twisted colon or bloat? Pooping slim for awhile, not peeing or eating 2days. They found small bladder stones but which didnt act like emergency today. They brought her back in exam room after a X-ray and she was leaking pee/fluid on the floor while walking. I thought that was strange but still trusted them again. She is a elder dog with high anxiety and was in pain from straining and arthritis too. They muzzled her and shoud of been sedated for procedures. I believe her bladder or colon was ruptured during procedures that caused her to go into sepsis. They did a enema without sedation and I heard her barking in pain from the lobby. She died of Severe sepsis the next morning. Was given a sedation pn med to go home which she was totally knocked her out for 8 solid hours which was told. She look sick but just thought it was from the sedation. Looking back sepsis started when we walked out that clinic. She could barely walk and I had to physically pick her up in the car. The pn med that was given masked everything when she was emergency when we came in due to straining not pooping, peeing, not eating and drinking. They did the enema and did find a papertowel and grass. She had two things going on. The food, antibiotics and pn meds for nothing. Paiid $1000 for nothing to help her. Sent home food, antibiotics, pn meds that did her no good. Took her to Catoosa Animal hospital next morning treated us with compassion. They said she was severe septic, free fluid in abdomen not pee. We had to put her down because she was suffering and grim outlook. I have cried for a week now. I made my story short but all the pieces fit. She had a great life with family but had no idea you would be gone so quickly. I am so distraught and I failed my baby in the end.

Negative experience: I had better experiences previously when I've needed this clinic. My visit a few months back was compassionate and a good experience in a hard situation. I left feeling at peace with putting my elderly chihuahua to sleep. I took my other dog in this week and there was only one vet, not the same as who I saw last time. I didn't feel any compassion, just judgement about my advanced elderly chihuahuas oral health. I've been told by two places she's too senior to go under for a dental cleaning anymore and they didn't descale her teeth last time we scheduled an appt for this at my primary vet, we used to do them yearly but she's 19 now. She has a recurring cyst that I've treated for years, no one has offered intervention other than a biopsy and antibiotics, so I maintain it as it's never come back cancerous. I didn't leave with help on how to continue caring for her or how to ease any of her issues. Just antibiotics and a cream. She didn't recommend descaling of the teeth or anything proactive. I'll check to see if there is another vet available before I will go back. I'm just shopping around for a new vet in my area at this point.

Negative experience: Never again marina!!! I spent over a thousand dollars on my dogs. Only to have them die 2 weeks later of cancer. Ripoff!!! Cheated me!!! Do not take your animal to arina!!!

Carissa Stewart Posted on Google 2 months ago

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience here today. I was very worried about my dog and I called with a question, was answered promptly and efficiently. Did a walk in and was checked in fast. Everyone was kind, helpful, and caring.

Negative experience: A few years back my sister and I brought in a puppy that my dog had. Which I had just gave to her. I had to pay the bill because my sister didn’t have the money. I went in by myself to see puppy and petting it the next day.. My two sister had went out there and told all kinds of lies. When I called to ask about puppy the next day they wouldn’t tell me nothing and I was told I couldn’t visit puppy either. They wouldn’t even tell me if puppy was ok. I was so sad and distressed about this. That was my puppy even though I gave it to her. I can’t even go by this place without thinking about this.I am so upset with this place. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I have a wonderful vet and wouldn’t never have been treated like this. So needless to say I don’t talk to either sister haven’t since this happened and if this was the last place I wouldn’t use it. Just the truth.I cry every time I talk about it. I Love animals and they are important to me. I know that this will never be shown . I think I am pretty nice about it. Nicer than you all was to me. But I pray to God no one ever feels like I still do sad. I didn’t want to even rate you a 1 but in order to post I did.

Negative experience: Do yourself a favor and stay away from this clinic. They just want your money and don’t care if your pet lives or dies. I’ve lost two dogs to this clinic and it was my fault for trusting this clinic but it was Sunday and my options were limited. I brought my German shepherd to them because he was having issues breathing. They did all their x rays and tests. Gave me meds. My dog stopped breathing by the time we arrived at the driveway of my home which was ten mins away. He should have been kept there under observation or told me to go directly to the animal ER. I went back to them and told them what happened and wouldn’t even take the unused meds back.

Fantastic experience: Last week I brought in Pepper who was impacted. Since leaving he has cleared the impaction and is back to normal. Your work helped save his life and if any of my other 3 cats get sick, I'm coming to you. Thank you very much for all you did!

Negative experience: Treated my dog like shit not professional when handling her and was completely rude all the way around I’ll never go to this vet again and I suggest you don’t waste your time here horrible horrible horrible service

Fantastic experience: Yes, great surgery on the left eye of my dog. Professional.

Paula Wilson Posted on Google 4 months ago

Fantastic experience: The convenience of 7 days a week has been so wonderful. The staff is always amazing with all my animals.

Tricia Koch Posted on Google 4 months ago

Fantastic experience: I wanted to thank you and your staff for all the care and support. I received my card and HIS nose and paw prints today. It touched my heart deeply. I also receive from my oldest an ornament. It seemed that he was reminding me that he is still sending his love.

Lynn Edmonson Posted on Google 4 months ago

Positive experience: Have had several of my kids in fir check ups. Only down side is they require vaccination records or they will make you get a rabies shot for them. I understand the importance of utd vaccines, but being on a fixed income makes things tight on the budget.

Fantastic experience: They always take great care of my little fur baby

Shannon Ruddock Posted on Google 5 months ago

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! I took a stray cat I had been feeding for almost a year when he got sick. I thought it was just an upper respiratory infection and though I was taking him home, but found out he was really ill with FIV. I was devastated and wanted to keep him. He was so sweet and was even purring when they drew his blood. They sent me his boop snoot and paw prints with a card. I snot cried again but they were so kind to him and my family. I will go here for my vet needs from now on!

Positive experience: Usually good but the communication has gone down.

Letisha K. (Tish) Posted on Google 5 months ago

Fantastic experience: This is my second visit to the Marina Animal Clinic and I appreciate that an appointment is not required 7 days a week, only patience. The level of care we've received is amazing along with the reasonable prices. The vets and staff are so friendly and made sure I understood everything before leaving. I highly recommend this animal clinic.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone here for 30 years. They are great vets and super affordable.

HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY REVIEWER Posted on Google 6 months ago

Negative experience: Will never go there again simply because I want my dog to be healthy, happy and alive. Reply to response from the owner. My review is not fake, false, misleading, paid for, or from a competitor. It is based on actual experience. I have paid for veterinary services at your practice. Also to quote review of Sara Calvert: "Very unprofessional, don't seem to care about the animals or the owners. Will not ever recommend this location to ANYONE I know!!"

erin Michelle Posted on Google 6 months ago

Negative experience: We took our baby in because she wasn’t feeling well. We told them we think she might have Parvo and we would like to get her tested. The lady at the front desk had gotten the total for everything and before she told us, we told her we had a certain amount and asked if they could work with us until we get paid. She looked at us and said it would be more and that she recommends us considering putting our dog down if we couldn’t afford to take care of her. Didn’t recommend another place that could help us for cheaper or help us with payment plans. Just straight up told us told put her down. Mind you we had called before and they had told us a set price on the phone and when we got there it was completely different. I will never ever take my dog back to a place like this. I honestly do not think that lady should work in animal care if that is her mind set. This is our baby we were worried about, you do not say something like that to a person who is stressed out . We ended up taking her home and she got worse. We then took her to the catoosa small animal hospital where they were super nice and helped us out. Our baby is doing much better and eating and drinking again. I definitely don’t recommend a place who tells you to kill your pet before exhausting your options. She ended up having parvo and now we’re on the right track for recovery!

Daniel Honnold Posted on Google 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: The way they operate their business is extremely compassionate. I’ve visited them in early years and late years of my furry family members and each time they have been so kind and loving. Recently, they really went the extra mile to help make sure my extended families dog was vaccinated so I could bring the dog to a dying family member. Thank you. You made a difference in my life today. Sadie (the doggo)

Fantastic experience: Dr Wolf cared for the newest addition to my home. She was flea bitten and covered in poison ivy. Kim on front desk was very busy, very kind, very professional. I love this place this is now where my furry babies go to get medical attention.

Negative experience: I have been bringing my pets here for years, over 20 years. I've never had any issues. I really like it and trust them. But my experience today made me so upset I may look for another place to take my pets. I was checking my dog in for a visit with the vet. The employee I was dealing with was a very very heavy set female with tatoos on both arm, short hair and a scar on her lip. It was very busy in there and she seemed a little flustered. She asked me the normal questions about my pet and the reason for my visit. Then she begins asking several other questions, such as where I worked and where my husband works. I simply asked "why are you asking where my husband works?" She then gets VERY loud and states "It's demographic information that you would have to provide at any doctors office!! It's demographic information we need to update!!" Then I said "You dont have to get mad at me, I'm just asking a question." Then she says "I'm not getting mad, this is information demographic information you would give at any doctors office!!" There were about 15 people in the waiting area and it was very very embarrassing to have this lady raising her voice because I asked a question. My husband has never ever taken the animals to the vet, that's why I asked the question. I don't mind providing the information but at the time i was confused because no one has ever asked about my husband. That attitude was completely shocking, unnecessary and I didn't deserve it. I don't want to spend my money at any place where the employees get pissed off when you ask a question and it makes me question how my animals will be treated if im treated this way. ***I like how their response never addresses how she was practically yelling at me. They are making the issue the demographic questions. The issue was her raising her voice at me in front of a room full of people when asking a question. Ya they completely skipped over that part.***

Fantastic experience: I brought my baby in hysterical because I new he had Parvo and it was bad. I came in from the emergency room up the road with a quote so ridiculous I thought my baby Speckles had no chance. These AMAZING people gave me multiple options of treatment and prices I could definitely afford. I choose the out patience option and after 5 treatments my baby recovered. He is eating, running around and being himself again. Thank you guys for giving Speckles the chance of life.

Jaela Sanderson Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: Love this vet! It’s affordable, timely, the veterinarians are always compassionate and real with you. The front staff are also friendly and efficient.

Anon Worker Posted on Google 9 months ago

Negative experience: Misdiagnosis for cat, he was very sick, had I not gotten a second opinion, he would've been dead by the end of the week. They claimed he had an infection, he actually had FIP.

Alie Rico Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: They always take good care of my pit bull Smokey. He even gets VIP access through the side door so he doesn’t have to pass by the lobby with the other fur babies and cause a ruckus. Each vet he has seen there seems to genuinely care. Amy in the front office is awesome she’s always ready to answer any questions or get answers for me. The prices are very reasonable.

david cordova Posted on Google 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: I Resucued my forever puppy from the shelter but he was itchy and I felt so bad for him took him in nice atmosphere friendly people the vet saw my puppy gave him some medication at a great price and we were on our way my Dog is doing so much bette.

Trevor Wagester Posted on Google 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: Great customer service from Lacey! She is very patient and good at her job. She definitely helps take the stress away from taking your pet to the vet!

Maria Ortiz Posted on Google 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: They have always used care with any of my fur babies, with surgeries or regular doctors appointments.

carrie souter Posted on Google 11 months ago

Negative experience: This place is usually great but last Saturday I had to leave after 3 1/2 hour wait, and front desk lady taking offense. I asked about wait and quote they said, "Is your dog dying?" Very insensitive this day. I will have to go to AFC now for a vet.

Cloud Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO THIS VET! I got my grandma a puppy for her diabetes and we took our puppy to this vet because he had severe dry skin which was caused by his mommas milk and they gave my dog simperica trio gave us no warnings of side effects or nothing it started giving the puppy seizures and he later had to be euthanasized otherwise he would’ve died from back to back seizures. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS VET!.

Mariel Lopez Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: NOMV Tom cats can quickly become blocked for many reasons, unfortunately he was preparing to be blocked after the expression performed. They said he wasn’t urinating before coming in but maybe he peed in different parts in the house hence why they couldn’t see urine in the litterbox, it’s not like they are watching the cat’s every move 24/7. Please if you are coming here from Tik Tok/Reddit or are a friend/ relative of the couple who had a block cat, please realize that the vet really tried to reach a conclusion to the situation but the couple didn’t want to hear it and belittled the staff.

Randi Williamson Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: The vet handled herself very well. The client was being extremely rude and unwilling to listen to reason. A blocked cat cannot be manually expressed at all, hint the term "blocked", so he wasn't blocked at the time he was seen. This happens! Cats can go from cystitis type urination to blocked in just hours. NOMV! Keep up the great work.

Heather Rothermel Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: NOMV!! Who ever you guys have replying to your reviews is top notch, the attention to detail and explaining the clinics side of the story… way to go!!! Also, all of you that are on here giving this place terrible reviews over a Tik Tok video should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!

Julia Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: It’s clear this facility needs to seriously reevaluate who they have staffed as their veterinary “professionals.” The dismissive attitude, lack of clear communication, and overall unprofessional demeanor were deeply upsetting. When someone brings in a beloved pet, they deserve care, clarity, and compassion—not cold, clinical indifference. It’s disappointing and unacceptable.

Rachel Roberts Posted on Google 1 year ago

Positive experience: Best prices in town, sub par customer service. They do not accommodate to disabled. Would not send prescription to chewy so dog food could be delivered to me instead they want me to drive to get a dog food script in person & pay $10. I live an hour away, I don't mind paying the $10, but I've already bought the food from you our last visit I should own that script untill it expires and the remaining months left sent to chewy. She is having heartworm treatments and we aren't due back for a month. I will get my dog the best food I can without their script and will also be looking for another vet closer to me handle her care from now on. Now you make $0 off me from now on.

Marisa Jervis Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: The staff was friendly, but they charged me $35.50 for a simple nail trim—that’s outrageous. I’ll be taking my dogs elsewhere for future needs.

Negative experience: I would not recommend Marina Animal Clinic TO NOBODY THEY ARE NICE & PROFESSIONAL UNTIL PAYMENT IS COLLECTED THEY WRAPPED MY DOGS BANDAGE SO TIGHT HE COULDNT BREATHE THEY ALSO STATED HE COULD BLEAD OUT FROM HEMATOMA BUT THEY ARENT LIFE THREATENING I HAD TO REMOVE THE BANDAGE OF COURSE SO HE COULD BREATHE AND THEY STATED THEY WILL CHARGE ME $44 FOR A NEW WRAP THEY ALSO MISINFORMED ME ON COURSE OF TREATMENT I WAS INFORMED THE 240 WPULD RESOLVE MY ISSUES BUT ONLY AFTER I PAID AND THEY TOOK MY BABY IN BACK AT TIME OF RELEASE I WAS INFORMED THAT IF THE TREATMENT FAILS THE COST OF SURGERY IS AN ADDITIONAL 677.10-855.10 I called to resolve I was told to wait an hour for their lunch I asked for office manager and was left on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up they also stated they made slits in bandage but they didn’t and they wrapped onto his direct fur not bandage all of this was right after his release I drove straight home he was falling over and acting lethargic breathing extremely labored I couldn’t remove the wrap without a knife of which I didn’t have in my car I don’t like to bash people but I believe they all people should be treated with respect and dignity unless they aren’t behaving in that manner & i never disrespected anyone I asked for help and paid for services this is my child I don’t care what he is to NOBODY ELSE you can clearly see how tight it was in photo the video was after it was cut off but you can still hear how hard he was breathing and day two his ear is larger than when I initially took him in I’m out of $240 with no changes in my babies care or pain.

Fantastic experience: We moved to Dallas but for the 9 years we lived in tulsa, Marina was like family. Very cost efficient, great loving staff, incredible doctors and was always able to fit us in. We had to have 2 cats put to sleep over the 9 years we were there . The compassion and love show by the staff is more then I have words for. We miss this place so much

Chris Edwards Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: They really do care and provide great medical treatment for our dogs! When our golden doodle had parvo in 2023 we had him hospitalized, and they were thousands less, and he made a full recovery! We have used them for everything since!

Becky McGinnis Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Caring Vets! They were so good to our fur babies, appropriately diagnosing their issue the first time. I'm grateful they provide great care at reasonable rates.

Jeanette L Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: The team is very helpful and empathetic when it comes to determining treatment and making financial decisions. Dr. Slusher is amazing and a lovely person. He recommended me a great dentist for Baloo. Dr. Simmons can be a little rough giving it to you straight but atleast she doesn't beat around the bush. Unfortunately, my beloved past away without any significant signs. I will continue taking my other pup here. Thanks for the dedication and hard work!

Doris Honey Pippin Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: This clinic is more interested in money than animal health or well being. This used to be a wonderful caring practice. I am shocked that even long time clients are required to pay for service up front. The management is very uncaring. I was shocked a vet would think a 10 month puppy would have been breed will out any health testing, not even know kind of health testing should be done prior to breeding. If you want a caring place to treat your pets I suggest you go elsewhere. This practice is only interested in the money they can make from you. They will charge you to write a prescription. I have dealt with many clinics over the years and I do understand the need to pay they bills but all other clinic I have dealt with care about the animal's well being first.

Fantastic experience: Most amazing group of people, they helped my wife and I when we had to lay our sweet Sophie to rest, and they made us cry a few weeks later by sending us the most heartfelt felt card with something extra to remember her by. Thank you so very much.

Janice Arnold Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Marina for at least 25 years. I went to another veterinarian for awhile that had appointments. Even had spaying done. Twice as expensive and I absolutely felt NO caring for my girls. All about the money. My 6 month old kitten Molly just got spayed by Marina animal clinic. Totally different experience. You feel the Love from everyone. I would like to recommend your staff suggests getting a SURGICAL RECOVERY ONSIE for Cats or dog's on Amazon to cover pets tummy instead of using a cone around the neck. No appointments at Marina but worth the wait. To the staff of Marina animal clinic thank you so much for caring for all my little ones. I will gladly sit and wait my turn to see the most caring, animal Loving people in town.

Henry Plummer Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: 2 stars because their price for an amputation on my kitten with a paralyzed leg was better than anywhere else I could find. ONLY 2 stars because I have found multiple sutures left behind in her incision that I’ve had to remove myself, even after multiple check up appointments. Hopefully they didn’t leave anything inside. I will be paying a few dollars more to take my cats elsewhere from now on. I know they’re busy and they have a lot to do, I’m just really disappointed that I’m having to pull sutures out of her skin after it’s already healed because somebody didn’t remove them all.

Tony S Posted on Google 1 year ago

Positive experience: Update: Regardless of the small issues weay have had coming here, my family has brought our family pets here for more than two decades, and will continue to do so. It's pretty clear their staff care about the patients they see each day, and at the end of the day, that's all we ask for. We had to have our puppies teeth pulled while he was in surgery getting snipped. Prior to the surgery, I requested that we be able to keep his puppy teeth. We were told that's totally normal and they usually send the dogs home with their puppy teeth. I was just told that they threw his teeth away during surgery. I dunno. It's not that big of a deal but it's a small thing that would've been could if they had actually listened. I feel like this place is often so busy they miss details like this very often. I've emailed his puppy vaccines to their records department so they could have updated records of his vaccination status, and the last two times we've visited, they've asked about his vaccination status, which I've emailed to them already. Small stuff like this getting missed just makes me wonder what else is getting missed when they're treating our beloved pets. Details matter.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service for animal care. Been helping me for almost 2 years now and I have never had an issue with any visit. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The vets feel very knowledgeable.

Adrian Plantation Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I understand this place is convenient and cheaper then an emergency vet, but this place is unbelievable. Insane wait times for things appointments that don't take long, to many techs and not enough vets, and ask for way to much information. Took my cat twice for emergency purposes and both times have ended with my cat screaming, uncomfortable, and more upset then I got him. First time we went, he was taken to the back and all I could hear was his screaming, then they told me he had a tumor with no tests or X-rays, and suggested an $800 dollar surgery. Went to his primary vet later and they found it to be late term cancer with no chance of recovery. The second time we went, he needed another steroid shot and they were simply closer. It was a 2 1/2 hour wait for what ended up being a 15 minute check up, which he didn't even need. They charged me $50 dollars for a check up he did not need. They let me into the office with him this time, tech was very abrasive and ignored me half the time, and the vet was aggressive and rough with my cat. I eventually offered to hold him because she just kept grabbing an yanking him around. He was so tired that night, you couldn't even tell he was on steroids because of how quickly he collapsed at home. Do not take your animal unless you have to, but definitely do not go if it's an emergency.

Fantastic experience: This was the most empathetic veterinarian clinic i have been to. We had to put our beloved dog down and it broke our hearts. But these people were so amazing!!! I would recommend them to everyone!!!

Wade Willson Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I like that they are flexible with treatment options and presumably reasonable prices. I have not explored other clinics, but I will be next time. I'm unhappy with the service because I don't believe my pets wound was properly cleaned out. The hair was not properly shavin with hair overlapping on the wound causing irritation of the wound and pet. Furthermore, the vet got snarky with me when I asked for clarification on the treatment plan. For these reasons, I will go elsewhere.

Lindsay morrow Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I took my dog in there that was extremely sick and they said that the doctor cannot see my dog until later that day just a heads up if you are taking any animals there that need care there is a vet place on 61st and Mingo that will take your dog in right away, and they are the same price or the same price? They staff there place with only 1 doctor and you are waiting for two hours if not longer

Sandi Grizzle Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: Walk-in clinic and waited 3 hours. We came right at opening and were the second dog in the clinic. We were over looked and not taken care of. None of the staff were friendly. I do not recommend. Go somewhere that cares about your pet.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and service. Very compassionate, and they squeezed my pup in a week early for surgery. Would recommend 100%

Fantastic experience: These folks are the most kind hearted individuals I have ever met. They were extremely busy but with the compassion each of them had from start to finish you would’ve thought we were the only patients in the building. Thank you for making a terrible day tolerable.

Gabriel Ranabargar Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I won't ever go to this vet again. Money hungry and manipulative. They won't listen to you about your animal and will do their best to push you to have unnecessary and useless procedures done so the bill goes up. They also tell you a price and then it goes up by the time the bill comes. I didn't ask for flea treatment. Why did you add it on? And what's with the vet suggesting euthanasia when the dog just needed to be fed and taken care of? Pathetic.

Fantastic experience: Caring and compassionate staff. Had to put my dog to sleep in April, the paw print and nose print sent afterwards is priceless. I recently rescued a kitty, as I was taking her home, I popped in for a wellness check without an appointment. The convenience of a walk in is a huge bonus. Kitty is healthy and now vaccinated and spayed. The staff is amazing and Marina has been our vet since I was a kid (I'm at least 30 years older than a "kid" lol)!

Negative experience: Here's what happened. My dog Diana needed a mass removed and I wanted to get on the schedule as soon as possible, so I scheduled a surgery. The vet explicitly told me that the $100 deposit was non refundable, but that if I needed to cancel, it would remain a credit on the account. THAT IS WHY I AGREED TO THE DEPOSIT. Then Marina canceled the appointment because it was within 7 days of the dog being previously under anesthesia (they prefer 14 days before going under again). I returned to Marina Animal Clinic today to get a refill on Nystatin, and to my surprise, the desk clerk there told me that "that's not how the nonrefundable works" and that, not only would the $100 not be refunded (which I already knew), but that the $100 credit was canceled. The way I see it, Marina Animal Clinic did not honor their original agreement, and they fraudulently took $100 from me by a bait and switch.

Fantastic experience: We have an aged cat, who has dental issues and due to age cannot be sedated to have tooth extracted. Dr. Simmons through injections has been able to give our beloved Pistol Pete a pain free mouth and quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Simmons, Bob & Nell Steely

Positive experience: If you see the doctor, you will be charged fifty dollars regardless of the test/lab cost. It was decent pricing when I brought my dog back in for recommended treatment after being provided with an estimate, but I felt blindsided by another $50 Doctor visit fee on top of everything else. For what was being paid, you would think the Doctor providing test results would be part of the package. I can afford it but that doesn't make it right. Maybe I missed the charge on the writeup when I brought her in the first time. Just be aware of that fifty dollar doctor visit fee.

Fantastic experience: The staff here at Marina have been pleasant and knowledgeable to work with in getting our you g kitten all his vaccines and neutered! Their hours are great and so is the vaccine clinic!

Fantastic experience: I had to have a pet euthanized this past Saturday The staff and veterinarian were so good with me and my pet. Thank you for making a shocking and unexpected loss an easy as you could for us. RIP my Maiya Pie-ya

Fantastic experience: Went there for getting my 2 month old puppy for some needed shots, we didn't have to wait more than 10-15 minutes. And even then, it almost took a literal 5 minutes to bring my sweet baby back to me :) Would highly reccomend this place and come back again!!

Heather Clay Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: We took my 17 yr old cat here for a check. He was not very fond of new people but he wouldn't outright swat at you. They took him back for bloodwork and he came back hissing and swatting at them. They just plonked him on the exam table so hard he mewed like he was hurting. They weren't careful at all. My poor baby was limping once we got home I'm never taking ANY animal here ever again.

Fantastic experience: Good hearted people. With such patience to deal with stressed out pet owners. This place is so good with pets and realistically affordable. I have seen other places that charge their premium prices for lower than average service. I would recommend anyone to come here for their pet care.

Negative experience: If I could put zero Stars I would. My cat was in there for 2 days they charge me $700 they knew he was sick and they let me take him home and now he has a feeding tube in his neck and he's jaundice and I'm sure they knew something was wrong with him. Stay away. Hopefully my cat doesn't die. You are supposed to be able to trust the vets you take your animals too. I had to go to another vet to find out what was wrong with him. I'm adding this to the post after I read your comment!!! It amazing how your trying to make yourself look good. But you're not telling the truth. You never told me he was sick . You said all his blood work and ultrasound was good and nothing was wrong. After a few days I called and told you he wasn't eating and acting the same way. YOU said he was fine when he left here. I have the paperwork and nothing said he had pancreatitis. My opinion is that Marina is not as good as it use to be. It seems like they are becoming like hospitals more about the money then the patient. Be cautious about taking your animals there.

Negative experience: I came in to see about my cat while he was not feeling good. They ask about doing a fecal feline leukemia test and blood test. I said OK, they suspected he had feline leukemia so they came back and said it he had it. I said go ahead and put them down so what they did they charge me? everything, the bloodwork and everything, you do the feline leukemia test to rule that out before you do the hundred dollar bloodwork but Marina is all about the money they’ve done this to me for two other animals try to get me as much money as I could out of me I said, why would you do the blood Test when you’re checking them for feline leukemia, common sense tells you to rule the feline leukemia out before you do the high dollar test but oh no not marina! marina got to suck you dry they have done this to me three times I will never never never go there again, if you’re smart you won’t either. and if your animal is on deaths door and you get there right before lunch, you better go elsewhere because their lunch break trumps your animal’s life.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for all you did to help Wendy Darling. And to send me her paw print and nose, it was super cute.

Negative experience: We rushed our limp 8 week old mini aussie to Marina Animal Clinic with PARVO symptoms. I told the lady at the front desk my puppy needs to be seen he is completely limp and not responding to anything and needs to be treated for parvo. She tells me "we have to go to lunch in 20 minutes so you will have to bring him back after 2:00. I said are you serious! Look at him he's lifeless. She said ok let me go check with the doctor. Comes back out and said yes you will have to bring him back after 2:00 and we will see whats going on with him. I was furious. I get it everyone looks forward to their lunch break. And I would understand if i was there for a routine check up or something. But i wasn't, my baby was lifeless in my arms and they refused to treat him because they had to go to lunch in 20 mins. Obviously we didn't wait around for an hour and 20 mins and take him back at 2:00. We took him somewhere else and I'm so happy to say that Freddy is doing great now, no thanks to Marina Animal Clinic or any of the staff. Thank you for addressing my complaint with your staff so quickly. I greatly appreciate that and so will everyone else that comes in with an emergency. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: My dog was suddenly ill this week, and my vet wasn’t able to see him quick enough. A girl at work was a former employee and she recommended I come here and see Dr Simmons. We walked in and were seen immediately, without an appointment and having never been seen there before. The girls up front were busy but efficient and kind. Dr. Simmons was kind and professional and made me feel at ease. We were in and out in about an hour with meds and my Leo is already doing much better. I’m grateful for the recommendation from my coworker and the staff at Marina today!

Negative experience: I don't know what's going on with this place...maybe they're getting ready to go out of business? They don't answer they're phones, when you call & get they're automated answering service, the info (times of operation, etc.) is not correct. On they're windowd, they have marked out &/or just not shown the times of their opening/closing & online it shows different times then the actual times they are open! When I AM able to talk to someone they tell me different hours/info than what is shown online OR on their answering service. Their phone service says they close for lunch but will reopen at 130pm...it's almost 2pm & they are closed. When I call in I am told, after 10 minutes of holding & having to call back, they are open till 6pm EVERY DAY, yet, online it says 7pm...so i go there at 638pm on Saturday night, because my cat is sick, & THEY ARE CLOSED! As I said earlier...things have really gotten unpredictable & wierd here at Marina...I have a feeling they are going out of business & they just haven't admitted it to the public (or themselves) yet! Too bad...back in the day, before the "old man"/founder died...it was a great place. A place you could count on for good pet care from qualified veterinarians...a LOT has changed. Now it's a place to go if all else fails. Sad!

Fantastic experience: I have brought three of my cats here and have received excellent care for them. The vets and techs are so caring as if they are caring for their own pets. When we had to euthanize our 16 year old cat who had multiple health issues, the vet was so compassionate. He gave us all the time we needed to say goodby to our kitty. Even after the procedure, he gave us time to collect ourselves. He even let us exit out the back to avoid having to walk through a clinic full of people. This is a walk-in only clinic. I get there as soon as it opens and normally spend an hour to an hour and a half, depending on what my cat needs. They do not take pet insurance, but they have a program you can apply for that if you qualify, you can make payments. I really like Marina and will continue taking my pets there.

Fantastic experience: Marina animal clinic has cared for all of my cats for the last 6-7 years and I wouldn't dream of taking them anywhere else! They have great veterinarians and their vet techs are the most caring, compassionate people I know. Reasonable price and no appointment necessary

Negative experience: It is cheap that is correct. However you have to wait for several hours. Yea you heard me several hours. This is ridiculous. I came today at 9 am And I was told morning session is full come at 2 pm. I was here at 2 and now it is 3:53pm. We are stuck with my dog in one room waiting the vet to come and talk. Entire day over one vet visit. I guess this is what is is when you are poor and can’t afford other vets that treats you better.

Negative experience: This used to be our vet of choice, but they insist on getting all kinds of personal information they don't need. I'm using outpatient services and paying with a credit card. You don't NEED to know my place of employment or my street address. And we had been going there for over 25 years without any issue regarding payment. Good doctors, but I'm not going to give anyone complete access to my life for no reason. We found a new vet. EDIT: In response to the below statement, I am extremely skeptical. "Relevant" to the owner is not my problem. I want to know what information is truly mandatory and what specific statutes or properly-promulgated agency policies require such invasive information. If it's not mandatory, I have the right to refuse. If it is mandatory, I have the right to know on what authority. You don't need to know my personal details to protect the hospital and veterinarians. Marina used to be an amazing community resource. Now it's just in a good location. I'll take my pets somewhere I not treated like a deadbeat, thanks.

Negative experience: It's funny that they tried to make it seem like I didn't visit them . In fact I did visit them. They misdiagnosed and prescribed the incorrect meds which caused problems. Pet is no longer alive. Tip: spend the money and get a better vet. Avoid this place. P.S. Marina, do not share confidential info on social media. It looks like you all have done that when you get mad at people you disagree with.

Positive experience: ALWAYS busy, majority friendly, hard working, affordable pricing, excellent care. NO BUSINESS IS PERFECT, they are human and close enough for me and my babies. 10+year customer and no real valid reason to complain.

Fantastic experience: I been taking my 3yr old tabby I adopted from shelter and we love Marina and the staff.

Negative experience: They lie about pricing to get you in the door. I was told $75 for an emergency visit and then told to fork over $250 after I got here for the visit. Thanks for wasting my time and making my pet suffer. They don't care about animals. Only your money

Deon Nicholas Martin Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: This place is a rip off. I inquired about a C-section on a bulldog. They stated I will have to bring the dog in to look at the dog first. If that’s not a scam reply . There should be a set price like 80% of all animal clinics but I noticed city clinics like to price gouge

Positive experience: The vet is truly caring & takes the time to really explain things to you above all, our furbaby's health is priority.

KiddyKatness Corral Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Twice in the same year I received a wonderful burial box form Marina, my cat wrapped carefully in a pink blanket. These boxes bring a real sense of importance that our pets have in our families and the people at Marina understand that. My sibling white cats, Apollo (the sun) and Athena (the moon) both passed only 10 months apart. They did everything together from kittenhood on up for 15 yrs and so did they in death. We had more time to decorate the last box but with both it allowed us to really personalize each of them. It's a sweet gesture for us that can't afford cremation. It's not only the medical staff that work hard to help everyone with care but so does the office staff.
