Fantastic experience: This was my first experience having an emergency with any of my pets and I’m so grateful for how the staff handled me and my fur baby. I called prior to arriving with my cat, Jameson. The front desk staff urged me to come in immediately but was also comforting. Upon arriving I was crying and the same gal I had on the phone greeted me and quickly took my info. She did a great job calming my nerves and reassuring me and taking my info at the same time before getting me seated for triage. Shortly after nurse Ashley D. got me and Jameson seated in a room where we she started an exam and was very proactive with collecting the urine sample, which came in very handy later in the appointment! Just after my interactions with Ashley and the workers there, I was already feeling relief knowing my cat was in great hands. I was greeted by Dr. Chong briefly and she did an exam and assured me Jameson was stable. Shift change happened shortly after and I was primarily taken care of Dr. Doll. She was very thorough in her explanation and educating me about FLUTD and again helped to reassure me. We were sent home with medicine, referrals, plenty of information, and a heart full of gratitude. Overall I had an amazing experience, the prices were very reasonable, and I’m beyond thankful!

Fantastic experience: After realizing that my cat, Sox, wasn't keeping anything down and started to get lethargic I brought him to VEG ER for Pets at 11 pm. The staff couldn't have been nicer, kinder, more gentle with my baby boy. After some exams they found that he had an intestinal obstruction. They worked quickly to get him the care he needed to get back his quality of life. They took the time to explain what they needed to do and worked with me to find a way to afford it. I am truly thankful for the entire staff.

Fantastic experience: Having pets is taking a big oath for as long they live commitment that would bring a lot of ups but also downs into your journey life. And sometimes in that life journey things can get really difficult. Specially in the time's that we are living today. And if you are not financially prepared for the needs of your pets. That could bring a lot of not good things and not good feelings in to your life. Even if you have been trying your hardest to keep their health and needs cover. Seeing that fur family member going through though painful health situations is one of the most painful heartache you can ever encounter. And not having the full financial resources to make it better for them make it even more harder. But VEG ER for Pets will make everything medical and legally possible to help you with the health emergency needs that you could have with your pets. Lucas is being with our family for over 10 years already. And word's cannot describe the Love, the Happiness and the Loyalty he has brought to our family for all this years. Just like our other family pets. In my family. I can thanks enough every one on VEG ER for Pets for the Love, Care and Dedication they have to help the pets that comes to their emergency department. I arrived in a very busy night 2/17/2026. And I can see how busy and many Pets they have that night. But from the moment I get in to the moment I get out. I feel like my dog was VIP for them. From the front desk lady that was checking on everyone and asking if they needed anything from water, snacks or anything that can help you feel less anxious. And she would find the ways to help you find the right financial resources to help for the health needs of your pet. From the vet technicians that constantly comes to give you updates and check on our fur babies. From the nice and comfortable amenities they have in the waiting rooms. And the technology resources they have to check was going on with your pets. To the amazing Vets staff they have like Dr.Liliana Alaniz that helps to save the life of our beloved Lucas. Also thank you Kassie I hope I remember your name right! From Lucas, Shouku and Mérida. And myself. Million thanks and more! You guys are making a beautiful difference in this crazy world. Fantastic experience: After our rat of a chiweenie ate his fair share of pajamas, VEG did fantastic to make sure our pupper avoided any major health issues. They were quick and very considerate as well. The medication they used to induce vomiting was very quick and got most of the cloth which made us a little disappointed we didnt come sooner but glad we did.

Fantastic experience: The ER was clean and bright, the care we received was amazing and fast. Our Callie was struggling to breathe due to having “kennel cough” We felt heard and envolved. Pricing and the decisions made were fair and very reasonable. VEG will be our go to for our pet emergencies. Dr Lilliana was so awesome as was the tech that was there as well.

Fantastic experience: We brought our dog, Bowser, in after his hernia repair dehisced. He was in a great deal of pain and the staff made him comfortable very quickly. Dr Staci Dennis was there immediately. She informed us of the plan. However, she was unable to repair the dehiscence and referred us to a vet hospital in Dallas. My husband and I discussed and decided it would be easier and less painful for Bowser to be "put down". Dr Dennis was very compassionate and agreed with assessment, was very non-judgmental. The staff were kind and compassionate, brought us to a private room to grieve and say goodbye to Bowser. If I ever have to have emergency care for future pets I will go back to Veg ER care in Fort Worth. Hopefully with a better outcome. Thank you Dr Dennis and the entire staff for all your kindness.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Dr Leffel, Scott, (the lady who helped immensely but we didn’t get her name) and the rest of the team. We’re so grateful to them for doing everything and more for our Oreo and we can’t thank them enough. 5 star experience

Fantastic experience: I had heard of VEG and looked up the address to have options in case of emergency. I really wanted to get my baby Mochi checked out on a Sunday our regular vet wasn't open. Obviously an emergency is going to be a stressful experience, but the vets and techs at VEG were all wonderful. They really listened to us and were patient about explaining options and answering questions.

Negative experience: I've been here before with my fiance and then with my mom with their pets. I came today with my dog because of the excellent service we had received before. Today I was unfortunate to have Kelsey deal with my dog. She told us to take as long as we needed. Then she walked in without knocking and asked if we needed more time. I said yes. Then walks in again asking for payment. I had already paid and let her know. Then she asked to take my dog. Then she asked if I needed a moment and I said yes because I couldn't believe the treatment I had just received. So sad that today for my dog I got treated like this. For time reference I got the text from checking in at 7:20. I am in my car at 7:50 writing this. I barely had 30 minutes to say goodbye to my best friend of 17 years.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend VEG ER. My dog spent about 36 hours there including a surgery. They were very attentive to her. She was wagging her tail even through the pain. Yes it is expensive (though they offer financing), I understand it’s an ER. During the night hours she was able to get the medicine she needed, which I wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere else. It is similar to a regular ER where if someone with something more life threatening comes along they get first dips on the surgery rooms but that is understandable. The doctor was very thorough in the reporting and keeping us updated throughout the whole thing. I love that they are flexible either way whether you want to stay near your dog or if you need to go home and rest. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My fur baby had a bad reaction to vaccines and I went to VEG!! it was the best decision. They took awesome care of my pup!! I would absolutely recommend their facility!

Fantastic experience: We brought our 4 month old Doberman, Halo, to this Veg ER because he had foreign bodies in his stomach that needed to be removed. Dr. Bourgeois was not only extremely kind and informative on our options but she and the team went above and beyond for us. They truly eased our anxiety about our puppy getting surgery. Knowing Halo was in such compassionate and skilled hands made all the difference. We are so grateful for Dr. Bourgeois and the entire team for the care they provided for Halo!

Fantastic experience: VEG - Tehama Ridge Pkwy location I have taken my Siberian Husky Beau to this location a few times. I’m very grateful for the team’s fast response, professionalism, caring, compassion and their knowledge in treatments. I have called them several times, sometimes in one day and they treat each call with calm and professionally, talking through next steps when Beau has his episodes. I can’t thank each and every one of them enough. I’m always a wreck when something happens to my boy. Thank you for being there VEG Team - Tehama Ridge.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about this ER. They are very quick to triage, develop a plan, and treat their patients. Every person we came in, vet and vet assistants, were kind and open to any questions we had. They are very transparent about the treatment plan and pricing upfront. I will definitely be recommending this ER to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I visited this place early on a Saturday morning, and every staff member that I interacted with was amazing. From the intake personnel to the doctors and nurses, I felt like my dog was well cared for throughout the whole process. They also did a wonderful job of explaining the diagnosis and treatment and were very thorough and professional. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and I would highly recommend this place to any pet owner.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nicole Gaither along with EVERYONE here are the absolute best!! They really take their jobs seriously and will take care of your fur babies!! I am the grandma to Stan and there is nothing worse than seeing your daughter so distraught over her baby. Stan is on the mend and so extremely happy with the care he’s gotten here!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zentner and Crew at VEG Fort Worth were nothing short of exceptional. We felt we were immediately in knowledgeable hands. Dr. Zentner walked us through the treatment plan optimistically and honestly. We were even offered the choice of a cot to sleep with our pet after his surgery. We were also very impressed with the nurses and front desk staff. We were checked on, comforted and given great advice for how to cover the unexpected expense. From beginning to end our experience was the best vet experience we’ve had to date. We highly recommend this location. It was our second experience with VEG. Our first rescue did not make it but the care was equally exceptional. Thank you for saving Theo and taking such excellent care of him! We love you guys!

Fantastic experience: Omgoodness!! This place is wonderful!! I loved the Drs and staff!! Dr Croslin was incredible! He was able to diagnose my Guinea pigs problem and take care of him with much love!! And Sav was also very kind and loving to Andre the Giant!! She really knows what she’s doing and does it with care!! I recommend this Veterinary Hospital for the care they took for my little guy.. Guinea pig! Andre the Giant!! Oh I can’t forget about Sara!! She remembered my little guys name when we first walked in!! Great staff!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. B. And Dr Chong were the best. I did not get all of the tech’s names, but such an amazing and caring team you have. I had to travel and left his meds at the house. I called the Dallas VEG Office and they got us in and out so quick. So happy my little guy was able to get his anti seizure meds to carry him through the weekend. Thank you all

Fantastic experience: My dog, Finn had an accidental ingestion during the snow storm. Dr. Ezell and Michael were amazing. Non judgmental and very knowledgeable. The best emergency vet hospital in Fort Worth.

Fantastic experience: Came today for emergency care of my beloved Thomas (cat) suffering from blocked urinary passage. The Vets were very caring of him and assuring your pet will receive the best treatment. Very helpful to get Thomas admitted and I am very grateful for that!!

Fantastic experience: Caylynn was more than incredible taking care of my dog Coco. The entire staff was excellent. Caylynn was the kindest person ever and my dog absolutely loved her experience there. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you VEG and THANK YOU CAYLYNN!

Negative experience: Update from my previous post and changing my stars to 1. If I could give them a zero, I would. Disclosure: Dr Gaither and all the amazing team saved my cat Elijah's life 5 months ago. So, this post does not reflect the amazing job they did. After my last experience, Elijah struggled to go potty again and I knew he was blocked..so of course, we ran to VEG. Dr. Doll showed absolutely no compassion for myself or Elijah. I understand that I didn't have the $8k to fix him and had to make the decision to let him go but she didn't even come talk to me after the helper..I forgot his name, told her to come speak to me. When a friend arrived to be with me, Dr Doll spoke to her in front of me but not directly to me. I felt like me and Elijah were an inconvenience to her and made having to let him go there so much worse. I've recommended you guys to tons of people but we won't ever use your company. Compassion and empathy go a freaking long way. Tonight, I lost the absolute love of my life and your Vet couldn't even provide a tiny bit of compassion.

Fantastic experience: Had to come in when my dog got an eye injury and Dr. Gaither was outstanding! She was incredibly patient with my anxious dog and really went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and not in a position that would stress him out more. She treated him (and his nervous mom!) with so much understanding and patience and truly took her time with us, even walking me through all his tests and meds. By far the best visit to any vet we've ever had.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to all the night crew that took care of my coco that night.Unfortunately I couldn’t save her due to the high cost of her surgery and I had to let her go to stop her suffering.The crew treated my family with the upmost sympathy and respect that was just amazing. You guys educated me without even knowing it on how we must spayed our pets so what happened to my coco does not happen again .Thank you a million times over and over again. My 2026 resolution this year is to get my love spayed ,going to work very hard to get my Pennie’s together well dimes no more pennies !!! Thank you and god give every single one of you the patience the strength and health to keep on helping our furry family members.

Fantastic experience: Dr Doll and Carrie D were awesome came in over the holiday with my Harley Quinn really stressed out. We had just went through a pet death and another was not something we were willing to go through again right now. She had eaten a very large stocking and lead to her being very unresponsive and wobbling took her in not knowing what to do and the staff and Dr did everything to help her be stable enough to go home that night. Thank you for your love and compassion for humans and animals. I recommend coming here

Fantastic experience: I was here all day in support of my kid who’s pup got into something very toxic. Mrs. Doll & Carrie took care of us the entire time we were there & I just want to say I’ve never had such an amazing experience at a vet clinic. These wonderful humans really do care about our pets & us, as people. I hope I never have to bring my own pets into an emergency vet, but if I ever do, this will be where I bring them. We truly were given all the information and options to make the best possible decision for our situation and even though it doesn’t feel like enough, all I can offer right now is a thank you and a 5 star review. You truly made a very scary & emotional day, just so much easier for our family. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for emergency vet care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Abston had Duchess diagnosed within 10 minutes. She knew exactly what to look for. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The additional care Duchess needed was beyond my means so wasn't done but that wasn't their fault. They are rather pricey however.

Fantastic experience: I had to bring my cat in 3 times this past fall due to various issues (orange cat things) and every time I went the staff got us in quickly and treated us with nothing but patient and kindness. I hope I never have to bring my pet to the ER vet again but I couldn’t recommend this place enough for anyone needing ER vet services.

Fantastic experience: We’ve had to take two of our fur babies here and each time the staff was super quick and helpful. They treated our fur babies as if they were their own and were happy to answer any questions we had! Highly recommend for any emergency your fur babies might have!

Fantastic experience: So, had a minor emergency with my 8 year old lab at 1030pm. Went to VEG, hesitantly, but was VERY impressed with the care and cost of their service. Everyone at this location was impressively kind, caring and especially didn't pressure me into making their boat payment (over priced fees). Will use this place for any dog emergencies needed.

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough wonderful things about this emergency veterinary clinic and the entire team who cared for my beloved dog, Arya. We were faced with an unexpected and devastating situation when Arya had to be put to rest due to a ruptured cancerous tumor near her heart. It was one of the hardest moments of my life. From the moment we arrived, every doctor, technician, and staff member treated us with incredible compassion, patience, and kindness. They took the time to explain everything clearly and gently, answered our questions with honesty and empathy, and supported us through an unimaginable loss. Arya was treated with dignity and love, and we were given the space and care we needed to say goodbye. This is an extraordinarily difficult job—delivering heartbreaking news to pet parents, often in moments of crisis, grief, and shock. It is work that too often goes without the recognition or thanks it truly deserves. The professionalism, emotional strength, and genuine compassion shown by this team speaks volumes about who they are and why they do what they do. While I wish no one ever needed emergency veterinary care, I am deeply grateful that when we did, we were in such capable and caring hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to any pet owner. They are truly exceptional, and I will always be thankful for the care they gave Arya and the kindness they showed our family during such a painful time. I was in so much pain and absolutely heartbroken, and had to leave immediately once she was gone, without saying a word to anyone at the clinic. But please know what you do is so important and appreciated. I was also allowed to stay with her privately during the entire process over 7 hours, and those precious last moments meant the world to us. Thank you, each and every one of you. You are angels

Negative experience: If you are able to please take the time to go to a different emergency vet. We had the unfortunate luck of having Ashley as our vet tech. She was extremely passive aggressive and condescending whenever we asked a question or had any interaction. I can’t tell you how heartbreaking it was having to deal with that while already in an extremely vulnerable state. I can understand if you are having a bad day. But you are in a field where you need to have empathy and patience. Pets are family.

Negative experience: Paid $1,300 for my cat to pass away 2 days later, after I had been led to believe he could recover with plenty of rest and attention, rather then to end his suffering at the time of visit. Do not recommend taking an animal in need of emergency care to this facility.

Fantastic experience: I sadly had to put my sweet cat down today unexpectedly. When the emergency arose, this hospital was recommended. Each step of the way everyone was so lovely and caring. They explained everything so well and most importantly, they cared. They treated our sweet cat as if she were their own and helped guide me to the best care for our sweet girl. Thank you to everyone who helped and for all you do. Thank you for providing such a calm and caring environment for our animals and the humans. Many blessings to all of you.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! They took such good care of my baby and gave me the option to stay with him all night. The staff is so kind and thoughtful and had our best interest at heart. They took such good care of my baby! Thank you so much for everything you did for my baby.

Negative experience: Writing this so maybe someone having the same issues with their cat can be more informed. Took my cat here because she was suddenly experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. I spent almost 1000$ for blood work, anti vomiting/diarrhea medication and probiotics. Took my cat home and she was barely moving. I then took her to a different vet and within 5 minutes he discovered she needed her anal glands expressed. It was immediate relief for her and she’s 100% back to normal-eating, drinking, and acting her sweet self. Working with Dr. Doll and tech Kelsey at this location and although they were VERY kind to me and my cat, I wish there was a better physical exam of my cat to find this simple fix. I’m sure Dr did what she thought was best but it is interesting how another vet was able to find the issue immediately.

Fantastic experience: every single staff member was so nice to me the entire time i was there. they were constantly checking if i needed anything even though they were super busy, giving me updates, making sure both dobby and i were doing okay while we waited for any period of time. each staff member i came in contact with told me exactly what they were doing each time they worked on dobby and answered any question i had. they even helped me save some money and still helped figure out what was wrong with my fur baby!

Fantastic experience: My dog Remington needed emergency care for a ruptured growth. They worked quickly to get him into surgery that afternoon. The staff was great. I believe they may have been short staffed that day but everyone was super nice and professional. The Vet that did his surgery was awesome too. You can also apply there for care credit or scratch pay if you are not able to deal with the funds right away up front. Definitely recommend VEG especially if you need to get your pet in somewhere quick!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about VEG. If you have an emergency with your pet, this is the place to go. They are attentive and caring. They are also so patient. We weren’t fortunate enough to leave with our pet baby but they made it as special as possible. Dr. Vetters was so kind, gentle, and thorough. Piper made nose prints and took hair clippings for all of our children to keep and cherish. Everyone from the front desk to the very end is incredible.

Fantastic experience: Took extreme care of my puppy. Made me feel like she was the most important puppy. There treated her as fast as a kid as she was not as serious so they had to take the serious cases first which is totally understandable and I would always want that to be. But the veterinarian spent a lot of time with me explained everything made me feel like she was the most important puppy in the room. Love the place

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I took my yorkie and am happy with the service provided and comfort knowing everything will be okay. It gives me a peace of mind without waiting for my yorkie to see his primary veterinary due to the severity of the situation at hand. The price is reasonable for an ER Vet and I’m glad I didn’t have to wait long to see a doctor. This place and the people here are amazing.

Fantastic experience: Excellent animal Hospital definitely worth the extra expense. They will get to the root of the problem with what’s wrong with your fur baby Very professional and courteous staff. I have been here twice with my cats I highly recommend them for serious problems that your vet can’t handle plus they’re open 24 hours a day which is very convenient. It seems like when something happens with my cats. It’s always on weekends when most vets are closed.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank everyone at VEG. I brought in my puppy Luke yesterday after he snuck a few grapes from the island. It was rough driving up there, because I had to have my old dog Stella put down there 2 years ago, but everyone was fast, professional, and obviously cared about the welfare of both dogs. Fantastic experience: My sweet dog woke with a swollen eye since it was Sunday we visited VEG Alliance. The Vet techs, nurse, veterinarians were thorough and compassionate. And even though some may feel cost is high at an emergency clinic. I am extremely thankful they were open so her ulcerated eye was addressed quickly, and she was calm, and the care was superior. The office was managed well, clean and all other pets were in at the time I visited were also at peace during our visit. I highly recommend this clinic when your fur babies are ill.

Fantastic experience: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING experience at THIS location (Tehama Ridge/Fort Worth) Dr Miller and staff was nothing short of amazing and delivered friendly, compassionate, superb service. The staff was welcoming and attentive upon arrival to settling the bill at the very end. The receptionist delivered grade A front of the house service as a first impression and the gentleman that checked me out was super helpful and informative. The tech's communicated every step while going through the process. They literally saved our Sage ensuring she was comfortable and took the time to check on us while waiting. They were transparent and assisted with the financial options to meet our obligation without draining the bank account. Exceeded our expectations!!! The surgery was a huge success but the pre and post care from this facility blew us away. If you want a staff and place that actually cares about your fur baby then without a doubt you've found the right place with VEG Tehama Ridge. Forever in their debt and grateful!!! 2 thumbs up for Elite service. THANK YOU!!!

Negative experience: Stella had seizures all day, and we sat at this facility for hours without being told we should go somewhere more equipped to help her. We were even told that the other hospitals with neurological MRI capabilities might turn us away if they were full. After nearly six hours, your team finally suggested we go — and when we arrived at the other hospital, they immediately treated Stella’s seizures with urgency and proper medication. Unfortunately, our experience here was extremely disappointing. The situation was handled far too lightly, and it became clear that the facility was not equipped or knowledgeable enough for what was happening. We should have been told that from the start instead of losing valuable time. I will not return, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending this ER to anyone based on our experience. Stella deserved better.

Negative experience: I took my puppy here last Sunday, and explained to them what had happened and what I thought she had based on her symptoms. They took us into a room to do a PARVO test I told them she didn’t have parvo they said regardless they had to do it, test came back negative. Then she proceeded to want to do more test. She was lethargic so urgently needed to be hydrated and they did not understand that. Took approximately 2-3 hours to then give her an IV. Next morning my puppy was dying so cold, and the injection she was given didn’t do anything for her they advised for me to take her back given the previous night experience I knew that wasn’t an option. I feel like all they cared about was how much money you’re willing to spend VS actioning and saving the pups. If you can please wait on your own VET as they don’t have the sense of urgency to save a life

Fantastic experience: Thank you VEG for being available and having amazing staff when I needed it most. When 2 of our dogs into a fight and my old guy needed surgery on his ear immediately, Dr. Ezell and the team were so amazing. They took such good care of my Sherman. I am eternally grateful for all of you!! Thank you so much for what you do everyday to help the pets and people of this community!!

Fantastic experience: Our sweet boy was on his last leg. He was struggling to breathe. We knew the drill. I'm a nurse by trade. We had been to several vets. I was very prepared for what was going to happen (I wasn't). They were so very patient and kind. He went quickly and quietly and they let us exit out the side door and turned on a candle as we as we were all a freaking sobbing mess and grieving. I am so very thankful for the team at least trying to save my sweet boy. We took him home and gave him the proper burial. Having those last moments with my guy meant the absolute world to me. Thank you VEG. You gave Hades a proper send off.

Negative experience: Absolutely heartbreaking visit. I left in tears, not just from losing my kitty, but from the coldness here. They did the procedure, she passed, and then—bill time. Zero expense to them, maximum pain for us. These owners should be in sales, not saving

Negative experience: My new puppy has gotten into an ant diarrhea medication that had been left in my coffee table. I called worried sick that my lack of funding meant I couldn’t find help and I was right. This place did not care. I asked if there were over the counter remedies to induce vomiting (which they said she would need). Their response was no which I found out was untrue. Thanks to the internet and experts on it I was able to use a simple home remedy and my puppy is okay. Free of charge. Don’t trust a veterinarian that is more concerned about money than helping. Animals shouldn’t suffer never their owners are stealing e

Fantastic experience: I could not have more positive things to say about Veterinary Emergency Group or their outstanding staff. We brought our dog in with a pretty scary gash on his head and they saw him quickly, developed a treatment plan and communicated with us every step of the way. Rachel and Dr. Still were phenomenal and not only took care of our dog but helped us calm down as well. They took such great care of him and we are so grateful for them and everyone there!

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? I found a potbelly pig on my property whom obciously had been attackedl by dogs. He/she was hurt pretty bad. Had a friend call around to all the 24 hour vets aaround that might help this poor lil guy /girl. But it was when they patched me straight in to a vet and they told me go ahead and bring it in and they will take care of it. Unfortunately i may not get updated on it. I wish i could be it was a long and tough time rescuing it. But i understand!!

Fantastic experience: We just moved from the area but over the last 2 years we've brought both of our dogs (though mostly Zoey) for all our urgent veterinary needs. Staff was friendly and understanding with everything we were going through from chicken bones to a cancer scare. I deeply appreciate the staff for helping us keep our dogs healthy

Fantastic experience: We had to use VEG recently on two occasions to determine the best course of action for our kitty Polly. Both Dr. Ezell and Dr. Dennis on our second visit were very kind and compassionate. They were great about explaining our options and costs, as well as listening to our concerns about Polly's medical present/future. We were also encouraged by their anecdotes about their own personal pets and decisions they had made. It made making the difficult decision to put Polly down on the second visit easier. While the circumstances of our meeting were incredibly difficult for us, we are grateful to have found a good pet ER in the area should we ever need them again.

Fantastic experience: Dr McCrary and Yolanda were amazing. So loving and knowledgable. Both explained every step and every test to me and always made sure Molly and I were comfortable. They showed such concern for her situation. I was taken back by the wonderful care my fur baby received by the entire staff. There was no one person who walked by us who didn't ask if we needed anything or if we were doing ok. I am so glad I found VEG. Thank you for making Molly feel better.

Negative experience: We took our cat to VEG Alliance on 2 different occasions and both times he was misdiagnosed. Both times we soent a significant fee for procedures and medicine then after following up with a specialist, the VEG diagnoses was completely wrong. On the latest occasion, the cat had was treated for a scratched eye and we paid a large sum for meds, to then find out he never had an injury to his eye. We were charged $450. Some medical issues may not be their specialty, but they should advise prior to treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have had to bring my crazy boy in a few times most recently for a eating his inflatable cone after his foreign body removal surgery. I will never go anywhere else for emergency care. The staff here is so caring and truly helps calm my anxiety when it comes to having to get emergency care. Paul loves everyone here and so do I! I always tell people if they have a VEG near them to use them for emergency care. I’m always glad to find vets and a staff that cares as much about my baby as I do.

Fantastic experience: We were treated so well tonight in this clinic. It all started when I called to get some information on if we needed to bring in our pup for an evaluation. The person over the phone was great at explaining details and recommended we come in to get treated. As soon as we walked into the door, we felt taken care of. They got us seen very quickly and were so good to our puppy. Piper and Dr. Williams were very informative and helpful in our discussions for our boy. Piper was amazing at helping us calm the nerves and explaining every detail to us. We truly appreciate the support and work this clinic did tonight. We hope to not come back due to our dog being healthy from now on BUT if we need an emergency vet, we will always choose them first!

Fantastic experience: I'm a retired K9 Search and Rescue handler, I brought my boy Michael in today for an emergency visit. He's 11-1/2 GSD. Great care! Everyone on site was amazing. To make a long story short. I had to say goodbye to my best friend today. This was not my first goodbye of a partner, but they made dealing with the hardest decision easier and less emotional. Fantastic experience: We had to bring our dog in unexpectedly when she got really sick, and the whole team was so kind and caring. They took the time to explain everything clearly, were very thorough in checking her over, and made sure we understood the treatment plan. They were also so patient and understanding with us, which meant a lot during such a stressful time. You can really tell they care about both the pets and the people. Fantastic experience: I had to take my three month old Lucy Lu (Shihpoo puppy) yesterday to VEG Fort Worth. I was so impressed with Dr. Zentner, and the entire team. Dr. Zentner was thorough and took the time explaining everything to me, other team members reassured me and provided me with information that I might need. What a wonderful team of professionals who were compassionate and knowledgeable. Little Lucy Lu received the very best care. My family and I are so grateful to them all!. Fantastic experience: Dr. Chong and Piper helped us tremendously in the final hours with our sweet baby. Giving us a blanket to help her try and stay warm and be comfy, cleaning up after her messes, and allowing us to be present with her and say goodbye was a blessing.

Fantastic experience: The check in process was very simple and fast and we were put into a room immediately after. Dr McCrary saw Witch very soon after. Dr McCrary was very thorough and transparent about what she was seeing through her initial exam. Piper was absolutely so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process and made my experience stress free. Witch would like me to add she was not a fan of the shot Piper gave her, although it seemed to make her feel better. Christian was very helpful at getting us checked out and on our way. All in all the staff here made the process calm and anxiety-free. I am very thankful for all the staff that helped Witch and I! ❤️

Fantastic experience: Piper stole the show. She saw my dog with anxiety and instead trying to muzzle her just let my sweet baby come to her! Knowing that she was helping my dog let me with a great comfort and calmed my own nerves about my dog being hurt! She listened to me and gave me affordable options and in this economy that is a godsend. So a shout out to Piper for taking care of my baby and helping me! Forever grateful a 10/10 for Piper!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank Kailyn, the vet technician who took care of our pitbull during his recent stay at VEG after swallowing a tennis ball. From the moment we walked in, Kailyn’s compassion, patience, and professionalism stood out. It was a stressful and scary situation, but her calm and attentive care made all the difference—not just for my dog, but for my husband and I. Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and Doctors. My Dog was having seizures and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful to get those stopped. I cannot recommend this ER enough. I was able to stay with my puppy in a semi private corner while he received life saving drugs. He was comfortable and was able to rest. Dr Nicole and Deanna were amazing with him and his mess of a mother!

Fantastic experience: Had to rush my chocolate heeler to VEG for stitches. Not my first rodeo, but our first time at VEG. I loved that I got to stay with my boy throughout the whole process! It helped with his anxiety of the whole situation that I could be by his side. As I sat there watching the staff attend to some of the other animals coming in they had a very professional and caring demeanor with each one of them. I have to admit, some of those situations could have been a regular Mon-Fri vet visit, not really an Urgent situation. But, nonetheless they kept their professional about them and cared for each one as they came in. Might I say it was BUSY!!! When it came time to administer medications, insert the IV and prep him for sedation and surgery (stitches) I was present for all of it! I was shown a list of all the medications they would be using and the explained how he should react to them. They answered every question I had about the whole procedure. My boy was a pretty easy case, but some of the things going on around me weren’t. I was impressed with how well they handled it! Praying we don’t have the need for another Urgent Care visit but if we do, hands down I will be taking my animals to VEG! Big Thanks to Dr. Chong, Piper and Niki for all you did to patch Willie up!

Negative experience: I brought my dog here back in November 2024 and I was basically forced to open an affirm account after being lied to. I had an appointment scheduled with my vet earlier in the week but two days shy from his appointment I came home from work and saw him walking slowly and knowing he twas barely eating. I decided to bring him in just in case. I deeply regret it. I was shown multiple payments of different treatment options we could do for him. Of all the payments that were shown to me every single payment choice was shown individually. I could just pick what ever I felt comfortable with. So I decided to choose bloodwork since he had an appointment already I figured just bloodwork to get an ideal what was going on. BOTH me and my Husband were lead to believe it would only be $131 and the cost of the visit. Then we are being told the total would be $657.44 at checkout After being very confused we had been informed by a different women since we picked blood work that also includes chemistry panel and electrolytes. The first woman we talk to did not disclose that, she really did point to every option and told us we had a choice. Now we don’t know blood work we don’t know what has to be done to do that. We are not in the line of work of medical staff we don’t know what takes place. But chemistry is $268.01 and electrolytes is $78.31 I was very upset since that now that a larger bill I’m looking at and I still have his original vet appointment I’m going to have to pay for. After talking to another woman I let her know I would open an affirm account against what I was hoping for since I could have a lighter load on myself for his other appointment but that the original woman I spoke to needs to be trained better on communication. My Dog ended up passing away a few months later bc his vet had discovered he did have cancer. That part has nothing to do with them that just life being life. What made me want to post this almost a year later is because I’m still Paying for this visit I’ll be done come November but every time I get a text/email to update me my automatic payment will be coming out. It’s just another sting. I have attached my receipt. Of the prices that had been shown to me all individually. They did end up giving me medication to take home and waived the price as a gesture. After what happen I will admit that.

Fantastic experience: No one has a good time at the emergency vet, but I can’t imagine having a better experience than the one we had. I brought Orzo in a couple weeks ago when he lost his balance and he was promptly evaluated. We went home stable to wait for an echocardiogram, but he had labored breathing just a few short hours later and we returned. In the almost 24 hours we were there, we worked with 3 doctors and a number of nurses/techs and every single one was kind, compassionate, and helpful. It was expensive, as all emergency veterinary services will be, but I was given information about financial options without having to ask. During our initial stay, we waited a while for x-rays and results as there were several more critical pets that came in. The doctor on Orzo’s case brought me a blanket, and later sat on the floor with me to talk about his findings and prognosis. In the days after his visit, I anxiously called a number of times with questions about my cat’s new medications and was helped promptly each time. I cannot thank the wonderful people at VEG enough for giving such amazing care to my boy. I would return in a heartbeat should we have another emergency, as I know we would be in great hands.

Fantastic experience: Carrie and Dr. Chong were so incredibly sweet and helpful! I had never been to this vet ER before and it was a great experience and I got immediate help with my dog even though they were seemingly very busy. Loved the kindness, care and communication we received here!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at VEG took amazing care of my cat Snape who became horribly ill out of nowhere. They were incredibly kind and compassionate and even let me stay the night with Snape, I think I needed it more than he did. Eternally grateful for their quick care, I’m sorry I don’t remember everyone’s names because I was an emotional wreck the entire time but Amanda, Carrie, Dr. Williams and every single member of their staff went above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: Our dog had a minor injury and it was late so we decided to bring him here rather than wait till the next day to get treatment. The veterinary staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were in and out fairly quickly and our dog is feeling better and we are happy with the service. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Late last Friday we ended up needing a vet. As soon as we set foot in the door we were greeted with kindness. Our Vet was quick to determine our baby needed oxygen. Nurses we so compassionate towards our needs. This place was busy. However, we still got the care we needed. Fantastic experience: I never thought being in an ER with our dog in a critical state could be such a great experience. This place became our family very quickly when our blue heeler, Darla, got very sick. The amount of time, money, and effort every employee put into our girl lifted our spirits so much. Dr. Still and Dr. Gaither are incredible, knowledgeable doctors and our vet techs Piper, Lis, and especially Amanda took amazing care of our pup. Even the medical director, Dr. Crosslin, went out of his way to support us and the tough medical decisions we had to make. Thank you VEG for everything you’ve done! We will absolutely use them in the future and recommend them to all our pet parent friends!

Fantastic experience: The staff here is absolutely amazing. I brought my dog in and knew she wasn’t well but wasn’t expecting it to be that bad. After learning a tumor had taken over her entire chest cavity the staff was so kind and patient with me as I tried to make the best decision for my girl. Their compassion during the most difficult decisions is something I will never forget. Thank you so much for helping us through such a tough time.

Negative experience: Took my dog in early Sunday morning to get help one nurse was helpful and explained what was happening the Dr came in and was very persistent on just doing x-rays from the moment we got there.. I asked for them to give him antibiotics and they told me they couldn’t even they found what was wrong with him. Got home and he declined fast in a worse state then what I took him in at. Now have to take him to another vet to be put down. I don’t recommend going to VEG seem like all they want is money and to guilt you into doing what they want to make more money!! Please pay attention to the one star reviews to save your pets and your money!!!

Fantastic experience: My babygirl has a blockage in her intestines and we are devastated because each vet we went to we were told to put her down when she is only 2 and has so much life to live. Here she was given a second chance, we were referred to another vet more in range with our budget but I am so thankful for the team here and their compassion. Piper is heaven sent and made it possible for Reyna to have a second chance. thank you so much!!! She is not just a dog she’s family and they see that here..

Fantastic experience: I wanted to give a BIG shout out to Dr Zentner and all the other staff that helped take care of our dog Daisy! We came in yesterday night in a panic due to her getting a hold of our kids gum and she was not good at all!! They took action right away and kept her over night and took care of her and kept us updated with calls and texted. As I arrived today they had her back to her normal self! It was for sure a close call and I feel like if we did not take her in she possibly wouldn’t be here with us now!! Worth every penny and would take our dogs here going forward.

Negative experience: Review Title: Overpriced, Upselling, and Lacking Compassion I brought my dog Pepper to VEG Emergency in critical condition. We told them up front we could only afford $3,600 for her care. Instead of helping us find options, they quickly took the payment. The original quote they gave me was $10,000 for a procedure that multiple other veterinarians later told me typically costs between $800 and $4,000, including recovery. At first, I got a call from one vet saying Pepper’s bloodwork looked great and she was very optimistic. But a second vet called later, and instead of moving forward with surgery, she seemed more concerned about us not being able to pay for an extended hospital stay. She even tried to convince me to euthanize my dog. I don’t believe she ever performed the surgery, but they kept the $3,600 anyway. Other vets later told me they would have done the same surgery for $800–$2,000. Instead, VEG charged thousands more, delayed care, and my dog didn’t survive. Unless you have an unlimited credit card, I would not recommend trusting this hospital with your pet’s life.

Fantastic experience: Our sweet dog got into a whole bag of dark chocolate and was nonstop throwing up and shaking. They got us in quickly. They were so caring and friendly, even though they had their hands full. So thankful for them as I am sure they are the reason or dog survived!

Fantastic experience: I was there a little while ago with my sweet old baby. And I forgot to leave a review, I was super emotional. But I came across some of my pet's things and remembered how amazing the staff had been and I just really remember nurse Piper. She was so calming and comforting during this time for me. Fantastic experience: Came in the middle of the night with my kitten, found she had tape worms and a URI, they took care of her gently and it didn't take too long. It's been about 4 days and she is perfectly healthy and acting like a playful kitten now! Highly recommended! Very nice ladies working that night! (Photos are before and after)

Fantastic experience: Our pup Artemis unfortunately had to be euthanized overnight due to complications from Cancer. VEP took wonderful care of us and I can’t thank the night staff as a whole for their compassion, professionalism and just being down to earth with us on what to expect. They made the worst night of our lives just that much more bearable. Thank you to all the staff!

Fantastic experience: The emergency veterinary team quite literally saved my cat’s life. After a misdiagnosis from our regular vet, we still didn’t have answers and Balls was getting worse. The ER listened to my concerns, took them seriously, and acted fast. They found a life-threatening tinsel obstruction that would have killed him if left untreated and performed emergency surgery in the middle of the night. Their communication was amazing—they kept us updated through every step, celebrated the small victories with us, and treated Balls like he was their own. I’m forever grateful to this incredible team for saving my best friend. Today his cone came off and he’s back to his quirky ways. <3

Fantastic experience: I came in frightened because my cat was not doing well!! And under 5 hours we have answers and are getting ready to go home!! I'm very thankful for SOFIE!!! She is a blessing in disguise she comforted me, made me laugh and explained everything in so much detail!! Cathy was amazing talked to my cat and definitely did everything she could in her power to make him more comfortable during the testing!! Dr Abston? I think her name was I'm not positive but I understood her and she was able to get my cat on a affordable treatment plan and answered my many many questions!!!
