Fantastic experience: First of all the staff that receives the pets is humble, professional and friendly. I appreciate that they make it convenient to drop off your pet and provide pickup and drop off service at a convenient location near my home. I also appreciate the forms emailed to me for per and post surgery and able to print out at home. I simply filled out the forms, printed them out and brought them to the drop off location. So far my dog is doing well post surgery. He came home the same happy, hyper and hungry. He had a great appetite and was like if he had no sterilization at all. Thank to the Veterinarian, and staff for taking care of my Eddie! I highly recommend spay and neuter Network. Thank you for providing the free spay and neuter services for my area in district 5. My only wish is that I wish I could donate more to this great organization.

Fantastic experience: This place ROCKS. I had NO idea how inexpensive this place was. If you live in the cities zip code structure, it virtually costs nothing. For this reason, make sure you donate to the cause if you can. Make sure you have an apt. ONLINE. There is a line that forms at the door about 15 min before hand. Print your paperwork at home and fill it out. it’s SIMPLE. Here is a funny story though, when I pulled up these 2 ppl immediately got out of their truck and grabbed their 2 cages and made sure they were first inline. I waited until 5 min. To 7am. Then I got in line and I was 3rd. As we got seated inside, those ppl were called up for check in…… after 3 min of this and that, OOPS no apt. She said well I live in 78201, can’t I just book the apt now? The individual behind the desk clearly stated, that she could NOT do it and it needed to be done online, and that they do take walk ins, however they would have to wait until everyone was checked in who had an apt, to see if there was still room for the animals that day. Moral of the story is: CHECK IN AND DO YOUR PAPERWORK AT HOME. Very simple process. Clean establishment. As a Zoo member, I was happy to donate to the cause. You should to if you use this place or NOT.

Fantastic experience: I have brought in many cats and one dog her to be fixed. They always give you time to ask questions and I am disabled (brain fog and my hands hurt) they always help. Donate as you can because we need this clinic. This week I brought in 3 boys and they are all recovering well.

Fantastic experience: Took both my dogs. One was neutered and the other was spayed. Very clean clinic with very professional staff. I felt confident that my pets would be taken care of. This place was very thorough. I would give them a five on communication. Although, scheduling my dogs was not easy but one needs to understand the high population of pets in San Antonio. I set an appointment two months in advance. I would suggest scheduling online is the best way to schedule your appointment, due to the facilities short staff they can not always answer the phone. I hope this review helps. Best of luck Two years later Sammi and Delilah have grown. I decided to rescue a kitten adding to my pet family. Although they are still short handed, Daddy's little Princess was well taken care of and in good hands. I feel confident that this establishment will take care of your baby pet as well. A big thanks to the staff for taking care of my pet family.

Scheduling is super easy via the app. Just made an appointment today to have a feral cat Neutered the appointment is next week that fast. Most vet clinics, you have to wait a month to schedule an appointment for spay neuter plus it very expensive. Not with spay neuter network so inexpensive. Absolutely fantastic organization!!!

Fantastic experience: Update after original post-Great new office but they have had infection issues.-Update I think they had issues with things hiding in the cracks from last clinic in the building that just took time to find. But their constant commitment to a sterile environment quickly fixed this issues. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have since had no issues with tnr cats taken there I have recovered. I have also since brought fosters in for wellness clinic and they have been amazing. We had a blast this last week bringing in a grumpy Maincoon and an elderly Siamese. And the Mainecoon is now happy in her forever home. And the low cost allows rescues to help more animals. I only wish we could get them grants to help residents outside city limits with Spay and Nueter.

Positive experience: The computer directed me to Claude Black Center for 7AM pickup. I should have had the option to drop off at Tuleta. That's much closer to my house. Otherwise, the process went well. My female cat is doing fine.

Fantastic experience: I did the transportion to the place since it was easier. drop off is at 7 and pickup at 5. both times the driver was late but its fine and not a big deal. they were so nice when it did come to helping me, with 6 cats I was scared it was going to be more stressful getting them admitted but it wasn't. picking them up was easy, no hassle at all. explained everything vocal and on paperwork they handed me. :)

Fantastic experience: This is the 2nd time I've taken my baby to get spayed. 1st I took my 3 yr old baby girl doggie GiGi and there was no waiting, they explained everything that was going to happen, so I would not worry. They gave her Anastesia, cone, shots, clipped her nails, micro-chipped her, and gave her pain meds. Wow. She recovered so well. So I took my cat Pussycat. She's 6 1/2 , same thing, short wait time, Friendly staff, answered all my Questions. I paid $11.00. She is healing up nicely. Will refer All my Friends. Thank you so Much for taking my Babies.

They go above and beyond for their patients and customers. Not to mention how extremely affordable it is. If you live in a qualifying zip code it's free. I happen to live in one. Fantastic experience: A friend gave me a 3 year old stray as my other two dogs had died. They neutered him and gave a full round of vaxines and a micro chip for a VERY reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Easy to navigate the website, found an appointment date that worked for me. Drop iff took a bit of time but for good reason; ensuring the paperwork is correct is essential and the staff was thorough. After paperwork, kitty was dropped off with staff. 8 hours later picked up pet and he was good to go.

Fantastic experience: I was completely impressed with the service and the professionalism of the 2 employees that did my intake this morning 12-4-2025. My only COMPLAINT is the pick up drop off situation. I would rather have the option to go directly to the facility since the designated zip codes are primarily inner city and driving out to 151 was a huge inconvenience and hassle.

Fantastic experience: Was my first time going in as a walk-in and you do need to be there very early about 6:30 am to get on a wait list but you do need to wait a couple hours in order to find out if they can accept your pets to be fixed if you don't have an appointment That was difficult for me due to my disability but in the end the staff and doctors were really helpful. One thing that needs Improvement is that they need a local phone number directly to the clinic for any questions or follow up questions after surgery. But otherwise great job. Thank you for caring for all the pets that are Strays or that have owners. If fur babies could talk they would say thank you for the bottom of their paws!

Fantastic experience: I appreciate the service that was given to my cat. The service provided by the Veterinarian was great and she was treated well. The support staff was unorganized check in took nearly two hours (this may have been due to being understaffed), and my cat was re-vaccinated due to a communication error. The young female assistant apologized for the inconvenience. All in all our shelters need more funding for the great service they provide. If you need this service for your fur friend go online or in office for assistance you'll be glad you did.

Negative experience: They don’t mind risking your pet for surgeries, they don’t even check them if they’re in heat or anything before performing surgery. They would rather risk it and hope for the “best”. The worker even admitted saying that. I decided not to take my cat here for her surgery tomorrow since these workers don’t seem to care about your pets. I would much rather lose my 20 dollar deposit than risking my cat. Besides that, the workers there don’t even seem to like to do their job, they just wanna call it a day. Such a shame coming from these workers.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this program! They do exactly what they say they do. No hidden costs or fees of any kind. I personally have brought 3 of my dogs here and have been beyond impressed with the staff, the pre-op, and the post-op instructions! I never have a hard time with drop off or pick up. It’s a great service and I highly recommend it to anyone that is trying to get their pets fixed and vaccinated. They also have a walk-in clinic during the week that does extremely low cost veterinary care. ETA: I also wanted to add that they do transport too if needed. There are pick up areas near your address that are listed on the website when available. I used the transportation for 1 of my 3 dogs and that was actually a little easier to check in but then I picked her up from the clinic so I could watch her going home and just keep a general eye on her

Fantastic experience: I was afraid for my cats I have three. There's 2 boys and one girl. L But the cats were treated very well. I thought it would be hard for them after. They are doing so good. My neighbor has like15 dogs they came to my yard and killed the mama cat and I took the baby kittens in side the house before the dogs eat the kittens. They are 6 Mos. I heard about Spay Neuter Network. It was just what my baby needed.thank you they received their shots, they were spayed and neutured, and a micro chip. Fantastic experience: This is the second time I chose the Spay and Neuter Network to neuter our cats. We took in two this time, and the staff was very helpful and caring during the collection and pick up process. Recovery of the two cats has been smooth and without any complications which is a testament to the professional service of the surgeon team.

Fantastic experience: We had two of our cats neutered. The wait wasn't that bad we went on a Wednesday morning. You have to fill out papers and answer some questions. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We will be using again.

Fantastic experience: I got my dog spayed, they had me meet them at a different location for pick up at 7 am. Intake was easy. I chose to pick up earlier at the clinic, it was easy to find. They give you post care instructions and they are very clean and answered all the questions. The techs at the front are helpful, and caring. My dog is doing great so far, so yeah it was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: The people at Spray Neuter Network were wonderful and accommodating. They offer wonderful services that help low income neighborhoods. My two chihuahuas did so well getting spayed I really recommend it! Karen was also so nice and helpful with the sign up process! Everyone there was just very kind and sweet when handling the dogs!

Fantastic experience: Spay & Neuter network was very helpful with me and my pet. I was able to Neuter my cat for free under my zip code all I paid was $20 to reserve my spot. The dropped off is at 7:00 am to 8:00am. I wasn't charged for anything else. My cat was microchip and all his vaccine were free.

Secondly, they took such good care of our new puppy while providing neutering, chipping and heart worm testing and prevention medications.
