Communication was excellent- not pushy with other charges either- and once (easy) pickup was through, I got home and have had zero issues! Fantastic experience: My 7 yr old female chihuahua just had puppies we didnt want to get rid of. Dr Kelly east valley surgical unit took my sweet Roxy and treated her with love and kindness. Never saw any discomfort or pain in her expression. Its been more than a week now and shes filled with energy and is alive. Thank you dr Kelly and your team is amazing.

Positive experience: Tried to reschedule my appointment because my cat is not willing to get into the kennel and they took my deposit and to make a new one I have to pay the deposit again. It wasn't canceling, I was just rescheduling. I don't think that is fair.

Fantastic experience: The entire process of getting my female dog Spayed was very good. Setting up the app was easy, the drop off was organized and quick. The surgery itself went well and my dog bounced back quickly with no complications. They did a great job letting me know what to expect etc. They also checked in several times after the surgery to check to see how my pup was doing. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic experience: We had to bring our Cavi in due to cancer in her back foot, they had to remove her leg. They did a great job and followed up with us to make sure she was doing good. And it didn't cost us an arm and leg.....just a leg. They were by far the most affordable place we found. Within 3 days she was up and around and after a week wanting to et out and go on short walks.

Fantastic experience: Had our 6 month old Cavapoo spayed 10 days ago and she's been doing great. She was jumping and playing on day two . The price we were charged was about $300 less than our previous Vet. We’ll definitely be back for other services to Dr. Kelly. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

Positive experience: It strats out to be one price , and ended up a much bigger total. Started out being $450 to get you in the door and when they were done it was over $ 1,000. Dropped her off at 9:15 am and did not pick her up until 5pm which stressed her out.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kelly’s is the most cost effective place for vaccines, dental, bloodwork, etc. Our dogs (2) had dentals 2 weeks ago and even including their bloodwork & 1 extraction, the cost for both dogs was half of the cost for both dogs that we paid at our regular vet last year. And all the staff at Dr Kelly’s are super nice.

Fantastic experience: Took both of my dogs for dental, rabies and some nail trimming with gland expression. The dogs were back to their normal selves about 48 hours afterwards. Which is saying alot with how many teeth one had pulled. They were great throughout the whole process and saved me about 4k.

Fantastic experience: This is third experience with Dr. Kelly’s. Our first visit was in the mobile unit, the second was in Glendale, and this visit was at the East Mesa location. We keep coming back because of value and they’ve always been so professional and kind. I was assisted by Hillary and Melanie and both were great! Hillary explained everything and made sure we had everything we needed and Melanie called during surgery and helped me make decisions. My dog has half a nose so she had a big gap the doctor offered to close to keep stuff out. It was only $50! I thought it was wonderful they thought of it and my dog will be happier. Dr. Kelly’s makes the process easy and they make it affordable. And they take Care Credit. Thanks to Colby, Rose, Brylie, Hillary, Melanie, and Dr. Johnson!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Dr Kellys Surgical Unit East Mesa was excellent service with my six month old cockapoo. Did an excellent job she had no problems. She didn’t even need to wear her halo over her head. She wouldn’t move with it so I had to take it off and she never once licked or tampered with her surgery scars. Negative experience: The office itself was fine and so were the staff. The issue I had, was I feel like they pulled a bait and switch, and it was not appreciated. I called around to find pricing before deciding on where to bring my Husky/Rottweiler who's a year and a half old. Like most families with children (4boys) we are on a tight budget with today's economy. I was told by staff when I called in there after explaining that my boy was large (around 100lbs) and what I needed done, which was a neuter. They told me what the total would be with the cost of the cone and pain meds, and it was within my budget so I booked an appt. However after arriving at the clinic and filling out paperwork they came out weighed him in at 96lbs and took him to the back for the procedure. About 10min AFTER they took him back the tech came back out to explain that because he was large (something they new in advance) they needed to do an ablation to remove the excess skin or he was at risk of a severe hematoma requiring emergency surgery. Which she then explained was another 200.00, in addition he would also need antibiotics for the additional procedure which was another 38.00. At that point it was too late to back out and due to concern for my boy I ended up asking my husband to put the remainder on his credit card. They say they have transparent pricing but it definitely didn't feel that way after I got there. They should have told me about the additional procedure over the phone, if they had I would have continued to call around to find a more affordable price. Will not be going back to Dr. Kelly's, plain and simple people don't like to feel scammed!! Terrible way to conduct business.

Fantastic experience: We had our little Chiweenie, 8, spayed and it went great! The staff at Dr. Kelly's were wonderful. They followed up with us the day after to ensure our pup was doing well. About a week later, I caught her jumping from one piece of furniture to another, so I was worried that she hurt herself because her incision looked lumpy. I called their office and they offered to take a look at her just to make sure she was fine. Thankfully, she was and they didn't even charge us for the visit. Thank you Dr. Kelly's!!!!

Absolutely no infection or drainage, puppy was happy with the meds given and healed up very quickly. Care direction was clear and after support was fantastic. They took exceptional care of her and were super helpful with any questions I had, even via phone after I had left. Not to mention they did a great job with the procedure itself! Fantastic experience: We took our Rottweiler in to see his vet about a bump on his rectum. She told us it needed to be removed. At the time, he also had 2 lipomas, that we weren't going to mess with, as they were really hurting nothing. But seeing as he had to be put under anesthetic to remove the one lump, we decided to get the other 2 taken off at the same time. Our vet quoted us the price for the surgery. It was a lot of money, that we'd have had to take a couple months to obtain. In the meantime, we took our cat into a our vet, when she asked about our Rottie. I told her we were getting the money together for his surgery, when she said, "I actually wanted to talk to you about that". She then told us about Dr Kelly's Surgical Unit and said she and other vets she knows have done rotations through there when they were younger vets. She swore by the quality of the care. So we called Dr Kelly's, and they were absolutely wonderful from our first conversation, through the post surgery followup. Our vet told us Dr Kelly's is "no-frills" and that's the reason they can perform surgeries cheaper. From the moment we walked in, we noticed, no receptionist. But there's explicit instructions of how things will go, painted on the wall. We signed in and about 1 minute later the vet tech came out, got all of our info as well as our dogs info. After talking to us, she took our dog back to evaluate the lumps, and figure out the cost estimate for us, as well as schedule the surgery. When we got the estimate, it was less than HALF of what our vet was quoted us. ALL of the required charges were on there as well as the optional costs, you could refuse. I truly don't understand people complaining about surprise charges, and they weren't told about a charge for pain meds and antibiotics after the surgery. As well as pain meds, and anti-nausea medication during the surgery. They tell you ALL of that up front at your surgery assessment appointment. They give you the estimate in writing to take home with you! I've read some really rotten reviews, where the owner was mad about the pain meds and antibiotics, (they supposedly weren't told about, but they were written on the estimate where they had to initial the things they didn't want included, signaling they refused to pay for those!) I'd only say to that... the next time YOU have surgery, why don't YOU do so without any anesthetic, pain meds, or antibiotics! See how that works out for you! If a $29 pain injection breaks you. You should rethink owning an animal! Also remember, your animal is the patient, NOT you! No you'll never meet the surgeon like you would as if you were the patient. Not holding an owners hand is one way they are able to perform the surgeries so efficiently. Dr Kelly's will also followup with your vet. Your vet can hold your hand. So we set the surgery for the next week. Surgery day rolled around and we took him out to E. Mesa for surgery. We dropped him off at 7 am, and drove back home. Around 11:15 am, I got a call that he was out of surgery, but they wanted to hang onto him for a couple more hours. We picked him up at almost 1pm and brought him home. After getting him home, we were really impressed with the incisions they made and the professional way they sutured the incisions. Dr Kelly's followed up with us 2x to check on my boy, and I could call them if I had any questions. Yes, Dr Kelly's is no frills, but "no-frills" doesn't mean less care in this instance! It means they can perform the surgery your pet needs for less money! It's an absolutely brilliant business model. Dr Kelly's is exactly like an "Outpatient Surgery Center" for adults. Except it's for pets. They did an absolutely wonderful job w/ our Rottweiler, and we highly recommend them if your pet needs surgery. Thanks, Dr Kelly's for all you did for my Rottweiler! Update: Dr Philip, the surgeon who operated on my dog called me, one week post surgery to check on him, and let us know the growth they removed from his rectum is benign. He said we should be good to go! We're so happy w/our experience with Dr Kelly's

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to take a minute to rant and rave about Dr. Kelly’s. First off their appointment times are your actual appointment time They have multiple locations to fit you in The cost has been the best I’ve seen so far Lola ( I’ve had her here for awhile, so just I stuck with it) was scheduled for all her shots at another vet in town earlier this week and I waited OVER 45 mins to be seen, was also 10 mins early to my vaccine appointment, and the estimate was $270 plus for 4 shots While sitting in this appointment fuming, I called Dr Kelly’s who was highly recommended for my other puppy’s neuter appointment. I asked what these 4 shots would cost Lola … $120 and they could see me on Wednesday. I walked out of my appointment at the other vet located in QC. Billy’s neuter for reference is also $186 ish. I love and spoil my pets just as much as anyone else, but I’m also not trying to break the bank either and waste time on top of it. Highly highly recommend this place

I rescued her from the E-list at county & she was on it because of a broken pelvis that healed on it's own from being runover while living on the streets. They followed up with me the next day to see how she was doing. The front desk person was the best and was able to answer all of my concerns and questions before taking my little girl back for her procedure. Fantastic experience: Have a small dog and they were very nice and the nurse was very helpful and informative with questions I had. They were very good with my little dog and made me feel like I was leaving her in good hands. They were pretty quick and did excellent job with my puppy. Id recommend them to anyone who needs to get animal fixed and will be going to them if ever need something done in future.

Fantastic experience: My regular vet was going to charge $900-$1,100 per dog to spay my 2 dogs. Dr. Kelly’s did it for way less. Plus they did a great job. They got right back to me when I called about my dogs having diarrhea after the surgery. They were caring and gave me some good recommendations. I will definitely return in the future and would highly recommend them.

Positive experience: I have mixed feelings about the Queen Creek surgical units handling of my case. My cat had seven teeth extracted under anesthesia. I was given his dental chart on pick up but no written instructions for aftercare. He had a cone on and I was told to leave it on 12 days. Given gabapentin and another pain killer for 5 days supply. When I got cat home he jumped out of carrier and ran at top speed through the house like Satan himself was on his tail. With the cone on he was hitting walls and door frames. I thought he was going to break his neck. Maybe he should have stayed longer to come down off drugs or been given the gabapentin prior to releasing him. I found him hiding in a closet. Traumatized fully and in pain obviously. I caught him in my arms and was able to give medications but questioned the timing of everything and lack of written instructions. What to do when you get home (move to a dark confined space) or what to do when cat goes berserk would have been helpful. He didn't leave my side for the five days and seems to be coming back to himself slowly. My other cat needs a dental and I'm very nervous to repeat this process.

Fantastic experience: I’d definitely recommend! I got my cat Tank spayed here. The drop off was quick and painless, I got to add on his shots that were due to his surgery for an additional fee, but it was modest and didn’t break my bank. They called to let me know when he’d be ready for pick up and I was sent home with everything he needed for recovery. While the cone was an adjustment phase, he recovered extremely well and we had the cone off of him by day 6. He’s such a pleasure to be around without all those raging hormones lol. Thanks to the crew who took care of him. Would definitely return for my next spay/neuter needs.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old 3.8 lb dog got pyometra and was able to get in on time and if you know anything about pyometra you know Dr. Kelly saved my dog life with out costing me an arm and a leg. Where other locations were quoting me 6k-10k. Dr. Kelly was able to do it for under 1k. For a someone with a very very tight budget I thought i was gonna lose my dog. Bit for under $1000.00 this was something I could work with and my baby is still here happy and health. I did have to pay a 100.00 deposit but that did get applied towards the operation. The office is clean and modern but most importantly the vet tech was so lovely, kind and made sure I had an understanding on my pets aftercare and medication. I will always recommend Dr. Kelly because they have been doing good for the pets of AZ for so long and to finally get help with my baby when my budget was tight I'm forever grateful to the amazing staff thank you for saving my baby!

Fantastic experience: We didn’t get any service done here however I do have to take the time to acknowledge the empathy I encountered with one of your staff members. I called to inquire about a surgery for my dog (not even knowing if that’s what he would need) but I was desperate to save him. The woman I talked to took down all of Magnums history and told me she would be contacting our vets office to get his results of his X-ray and ultrasound it was a holiday weekend so I wasn’t anticipating any response anytime soon. However my Magnum didn’t make it and when I responded to their text message stating that we lost him I wasn’t expecting any call or message back. I got a call not even an hour later from the woman I spoke with initially and she was so sweet and kind and offered her condolences it was such a kind gesture for her to even call back she didn’t have to do that but she did and I will forever be grateful for a strangers empathy during the worst time of mine and my families life. I wish I remember her name to thank her specifically but I hope she knows the amount of gratitude I felt by that small gesture. For this I would give this place 100 stars if I could

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for Dr. Kelly's. My dog needed surgery for an unknown mass on his ear, and they were able to get him in quickly. I had fears of my dog losing his whole ear going into the procedure, and fortunately Dr Kelly's gave us the best possible outcome. They took a sliver of his ear with enough margins to make sure the growth didn't come back, and then they stitched the ear back together. You really can barely tell, plus it's kinda cute, like Nemo's little fin. Plus, even better news was that they sent a sample of the growth to be analyzed and it turns out it was benign! All around excellent outcome. Thank you Dr. Kelly's! I hope i don't need to come back, but I know where I'll go if my old boy needs anything like that again.

Fantastic experience: we took our pup here to be neutered, and they did such a phenomenal job from check-in. All the way to check out. They were very thorough. Price was fabulous and procedure was really fast. Our pups recovery was also fabulous. He was up and running around the following day.

Fantastic experience: Efficient, kind, thorough and affordable!! The lobby/intake area was clean. They treated my kitten well and sent us home supplied with meds and clear instructions. The tech answered all my detailed questions patiently! And they called the next day to check on us and answered more of my questions (I ask a lot of questions ).

I had an emergency with my five month old kitten when somehow he injured his eye and it had to be removed on a very very short notice! Fantastic experience: Dr. Kelly's Surgical Unit has cleaned my mini-dachshund's teeth twice now. The care given was great, the facility is nice & clean, and the customer service received from the staff was superior. The procedure cost $600 which is not cheap but way more reasonable than most vets.

Fantastic experience: When my local vet's surgical dental price skyrocketed (almost double his prior one 3 years ago), I elected to seek more reasonably priced care elsewhere. I quickly found Dr. Kelly's and not only got my dachshund's dental (for under the estimate) but also got a spay and gastroplexy on my english mastiff for significantly less than my local vet's surgical office would do it. I loved everything about the experience. They were efficient, they offered a full suite of options, such as nail clippings and similar service while my pets were under, and my pets did great. They were very specific with the post-surgical instructions and I couldn't have been happier with the outcomes. I will definitely use them again.

Fantastic experience: I had such a lovely experience here. The office was super clean, plus the intake was seamless so my dog didn't have time to stress in the waiting area around the other animals getting dropped off. The surgery was insanely quick, 2 hours. Plus the scar on my dog was tiny. She healed so quickly from it, I have already recommended this place to my friends and family. Any future furry friend I get will definitely be going here for their spay or neuter.

Fantastic experience: My experience was great! They were very easy instructions given before I even arrived at the unit to drop off my dog so I knew what to expect before I arrived! The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to and ask ask questions! The overall experience was great and they even provided instructions on the medications and emailed me a copy of the after care that my dog was going to need and provided me with a paper copy!
