Experiencia negativa: Edit to add: Yet another business trying to claim a bad review is fake and that I have not been a patron of their business. I was in fact a client, emphasis on WAS. My dog's medication, that is meant to be a monthly dosage was only provided enough for 6 months, when I tried to reorder I was told that I would have to come in for an exam so that TLC could drain more money out of my pocket. This is ridiculous considering it is standard practice to give a 12 month prescription of ivermectin for dogs. I will be taking my dog to the Animal Humane Vet Clinic for the future. At least money spent there goes to aiding other animals instead of lining some greedy man's pockets. Unless you are ultra wealthy and have money to burn, look elsewhere for your pet's care. If your pet needs surgery they are not open on the weekends, so if your pet has a complication you will end up having to go to Route 66 Emergency Vet and paying an entirely additional vet fee. TLC will also nickel and dime you for everything. They also will still bill you if your pet dies during surgery. Heartless.

Experiencia negativa: So I've been a patient here for about 10 years I think bringing in my cats for all sorts of things. But no more. I'm tired of this place and 3 things have really irked me: 1.) This is probably no fault of TLC but why do they lose my favorite Doctors after a year? I was building a nice rapport with 2 of the Doctors there and I enjoyed that they remembered me and my cats and we could talk about anything. But they left. I often wondered if TLC does enough to retain their Doctors? 2.) I'm upset that they are no longer open on weekends. If I do remember correctly they had minimal hours on Saturday (only?) and that was it. I'm tired of having to take off early on a Friday and use Leave Hours from my job to accommodate their lazy hours. Why aren't you open on the weekends? I remember that TLC was booked solid on Saturdays and I'd have to make an appointment months in advance. That told me that other people liked taking in their babies on a Saturday. Why has that changed? Why aren't you catering to your clients? 3.) This is something new and I really don't care for it: If you cancel an appointment for a 3rd time you must leave a deposit. I really don't care for this new Policy. Sure, maybe for a patient who "no-showed" but if you cancelled, thats giving staff plenty of times to fill that now open slot. In my case, I had to cancel 2 "blood draws" for an older cat. There's no Doctor involved with a blood draw and its about a 20 minute procedure from when I walk in to when leave. No one is put out by my cancelling a blood draw and sometimes there are valid reasons for cancelling: Like my wife of 29 years dying in August of 2025 (5 mos ago) and realizing that I may not be able to afford his Thyroid check at the moment. I did speak to Dr. Welk who seemed to understand my loss and allowed me to continue ordering medications for several months without an update to his blood check. I'm grateful for her help but when I went to make an updated appointment, I was told of this new cancellation policy. Hey TLC, there are exceptions here and I think taking into account personal circumstances (like a DEATH) and the nature of the appointment (blood draw vs. actual appointment with a Doctor) needs to be taken into consideration. NOTE: I've found another Veterinarian thats closer to my house and guess what? They're open on weekends. I'm happier now and have no regrets.

Experiencia fantástica: My late service dog, Shadow, was cared for with lots of love and compassion, so when I got my new service dog, Helga, there was no other choice for me. The crew is amazing and friendly, always ready to help. The vets are quite knowledgeable and collaborative with us "parents".

Experiencia fantástica: We have been seeing Dr. Long for over 7 years for our dog and cat. She takes time to get to know her patients and their humans. Dr. Long is also very good about discussing treatment options and will let you know when something is really necessary, suggested but not urgent, or just something to keep in mind. The Staff and techs are also very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They offer a variety of services in house, lab work, surgeries, acupuncture, and I'm sure a lot more that I don't know about. They offer payment plans and other vet care card options to help pay for the services your pet needs. We have only gone for our dog and cat, but have seen birds and other animals there as well.

Experiencia fantástica: The doctor and staff were wonderful! It was hard to leave my baby there, but the way they treated him and me made me feel so much better. The doctor called as soon as my pugs surgery was complete and told me he did great! Great customer service and doggy care! They have also called several times to check up on him after his surgery. My dog is recovering very well.

Experiencia negativa: THE WORST animal clinic I've ever been to. And I'm 76 years old. They charged me $270 to look at my cat, and they did absolutely nothing. Manzano Animal Clinic (I don't work there, and I don't know anyone who does) is SO MUCH better. Love Manzano. And they are much more reasonable with their prices.

Experiencia fantástica: I loved this pet hospital. Everyone was so kind. I had to take my cat in bc his eye was goopy. The vet tech Amber was soooo kind to my old boy. He's shy and she took the best care of him. It eased my mind to know that he was being so well cared for. And Dr Long was wonderful! She was so kind and knowledgeable and answered all our questions and explained everything. She was also so sweet to my cat. It was a great experience and when my cats need care we will definitely go back to TLC pet hospital and Dr Long. I can't recommend this place and people enough! If you want quality care with people who truly love animals and want to give them the best care this is the place for you!

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice staff. Dr Salas is great. He explains everything so there are no surprises. 9/25- We saw Dr Hood and she was very friendly and helpful in treating our 9 yo Australian Cattle Dog who had a mast cell tumor on the back of one of her hind leg. She recovered as we were told. Dr Hood called us a few weeks later and gave us the result of the biopsy. Dr Hood offered a great amount of information on further care and what would be best course of treatment for our girl going forward. The fees were very reasonable. Amazing staff too. Highly recommend this vet office.

Experiencia negativa: In January of 2025, our newly rescued tiny senior was experiencing 2 luxating patellas on her hind legs. We wanted to try someone new and the reviews were awesome for Dr. Salas. We took her in and he was great with her. No treatment was needed, but we loved his approach and energy he had with both us and her. But to a month later, we referred Dr. Salas to some of our family members. They had a little doggy going through some serious medical issues for the past couple of years, but had improved tremendously in the past 3 months under a natural healing protocol. We all wanted the best for him and decided to get him started with TLC. When we got there, Dr. Salas was not available, but Dr. Long was instead. She seemed just as compassionate and concerned as Dr. Salas, and took in-depth bloodwork, x-rays, and took a sample to send out to pathology. We were so excited to see the improvements our little guy had made. Cut to 6 days later, and STILL no word from the doctor OR receptionists. That evening, our little guy had to be unexpectedly rushed to the ER in Santa Fe, and ended up passing away shortly thereafter. We had ZERO records, bloodwork results, x-rays, pathology, NOTHING… to give to the ER so that they could assess a better treatment plan and outcome. All new tests. bloodwork, x-rays, and tissue biopsies had to be taken all over again. Only to have our little guy suddenly die. We called TLC the next day only to find out that they had every single result in except for the pathology 4 days earlier. But due to their “policy”, doctors don’t call with any results until they have all of them; in case multiple tests were taken. None of this was about the money. Yet, they fought to even refund any of it as they had to follow this relentless policy. The whole reason we went to them in the first place was to get an idea of his improvements as well as anything else going on with previous masses on his skin. That way we could quickly decide which direction to take whether or not it included going in for any types of surgical removals. This was completely unacceptable. After speaking with Chris in HR, and hearing him tell me that the doctors don’t have enough time to take out of their busy schedules to make phone calls for each and every test that comes in, was a shame. That hospital is filled with receptionists at more than 2 front desks, who could’ve easily emailed them (like every other veterinarian does) when they got them so that we could make some immediate moves. It’s unfortunate because Dr. Salas and Dr. Long were amazing to work with. But the administration is just the opposite. *** By the way, his bloodwork and x-rays were remarkable. He had made substantial improvements that vets don’t see every day. It would’ve been nice to be able to set him up with the next step in removing the masses in that week that we desperately needed the results. Talk about an ending that could’ve turned out much happier.

Experiencia negativa: I brought my dog to TLC Pet Hospital for a surgery that was supposed to fix his broken knee cap. I was never told the prognosis was poor or I would have considered other options and after the first two surgeries were unsuccessful due to misplacement of wires and pin’s , we were told he now needs a third surgery due to pins and wires coming out. Even worse, there’s a “lost” wire still in his leg that they couldn’t locate. Had a second opinion and was told the dog’s leg has a 30 percent chance of success due to bone not healing as it should and he will either need reconstructive surgery or leg amputation. I trusted this vet team with my pet’s health, but in my opinion, they acted more like they were “practicing” medicine than actually providing competent care. This has caused not just emotional distress, but also significant physical pain for my dog — and costly medical bills for me. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values clear communication, accountability, or skilled care. I will be contacting a veterinarian malpractice attorney if I don’t get reimbursed back for this and I will be filing a complaint with the medical board.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve had such a wonderful experience with TLC! They’ve been incredibly accommodating every step of the way. The TPLO surgeries our dog has needed on both knees were 100% successful, and the care she’s received has been top-notch. They provide every detail for the healing process and call and check-in on Ramsey. What stands out most is how kind and patient the entire team is with our dog—even when she reacts to the stress of the environment by growling or barking. They always treat her with gentleness and compassion, which means so much to us. Because of TLC, Ramsey is able to resume her fun, active life! We’re so grateful to have found a vet we can truly trust!

Experiencia negativa: This place is the worst place ever my dog was 15 years old almost 16 years old and they told us they couldn't see her until tomorrow and she was dying like blood coming out her ass and crying in pain and couldn't move they told us to call the emergency and they tried to charge us $380 to put her down she died in pain and suffering because no one wouldn't help us this place is heartless and cruel

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Salas has been great for the urgent need I had for my dog Bella recently. He got us in quickly and was amazing with my dog. My usual Veterinarian is Dr Hood and she is absolutely wonderful and takes such great care of all 5 of my dogs. The entire staff is wonderful and extremely supportive and compassionate to our needs. TLC is very reasonably priced, I’m not saying they’re cheap but the prices match with the services they do which for me is an amazing job! I’ve been going there for many years and will most likely be going there until I don’t have animals anymore or they are no longer there. Thank you TLC pet hospital! The front desk staff has always made my day a bit better each time I come in. Thank you again.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I have been taking our furry family to TLC for more than 10 years. We moved a few years back and still drive the 45 minutes to go to TLC after trying a clinic 5 minutes from us with not great service. I would definitely say that TLC truly cares about our fur babies.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog had her yearly check up the other day and I am just so happy with the way Dr. Welk and the staff treated her. They were very patient and kind. The exam was very thorough as well, and they answered all of my questions. Thank you TLC. I would highly recommend TLC to anyone that is looking for a good quality pet hospital without extremely high prices. I’ve been taking my dog there for about a year now and I don’t plan on taking her anywhere else. Their prices are lower than most places and they do not try to take advantage of you. The staff is always nice and caring towards my dog. Thank you TLC for taking care of us!

Experiencia negativa: Edit: after leaving an honest review my dogs Heartworm test was canceled and I was dropped as a client. $20 hidden “packaging fee” that they charge to fill each prescription, it is not separated on the invoice so the only way to know is by asking. FYI- you can get dog prescriptions filled at Walgreens for only the out-of-pocket cost of the meds. Convinced me to get senior blood work done (expensive) and it came back with a false positive for Lyme disease. They do not follow fear free practices. I brought my reactive dog in and the vet tech was making prolonged direct eye contact, which scared my dog. When asked to stop, she said it was to make sure my dog wouldn’t bite- my dog wears a well fitted muzzle and cannot bite. They also wanted to take my other dog (trembling in fear) to the back- taking dogs “to the back” only stresses them out more and causes them to shut down- which makes them look calmer to the untrained eye. Not happy, wish they would do better. Only reason it’s not 1 star is they didn’t actually harm my dogs.

Experiencia fantástica: Took my ragdoll kitty here and while he unfortunately did still pass, the compassion and understanding from this team was really appreciated. They were upfront about all pricing and didn’t push anything on us that we didn’t want to do. They were honest, professional, and always answered my questions no matter how many I had. Experiencia negativa: I called today because I heard such great reviews about this vet from co-workers, I wanted to see if i could get my dog looked at, just trying to establish a vet, and the receptionist I spoke to was absolutely awful. I think their name was Nox? or Nix? My dog is older, and she kept pushing a senior panel on me, I understand the importance of that but financially, I'm not in the place to afford that. The condescension and just all around "know it all" attitude she gave really turned me off to the whole establishment along with her comment "We'll be here if you want to take your dogs health seriously". I understand what's needed for the dogs, and that there's procedures that are necessary, but times are rough and having someone who understands that and has a little bit of compassion would be nice. I'm glad my co workers had great experiences but, I will definitely be going elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog Eden is in the process of healing from her TPLO at this hospital. The staff are so incredibly kind and patient even when I call way too often with questions. Eden and my other dog are my first pets I am taking care of on my own and it can be very overwhelming. So it is so appreciated when they explain things to me and repeat answers to questions I’ve probably already asked, even if it should be obvious. I’m navigating this all by myself so having their support is wonderful!

Experiencia fantástica: As a new patient, getting an appointment within a reasonable timeframe was relatively easy. It seems like they have a larger staff of doctors, so better availability. When I arrived, the receptionist was super accommodating to the fact that my dog can be somewhat reactive to other male dogs, so she gave us the option to wait in the car (she'd call us when they were ready, and we could be let in a side door to bypass the lobby) or occupy the open cat lobby. We opted to wait inside. When walking him back to an Exam Room, the same girl gave me a heads up that we would need to pass 1 other dog, and she offered to stand between them as we passed to assist (it went seamlessly!). The Techs were great, and super patient and gentle with my boy when taking blood/giving vaccines. He's a very muscular pitbull, but instead of immediately saying he needed muzzled, they gave him the benefit of the doubt, and he did great (and so did they)! No muzzle needed. The doctor was patient with my endless new-dog-to-me questions, and she made sure she took the time to answer them all. We received a call the following day checking in on how he was doing since he had received vaccines, and the doctor called a few days after with the results of his blood panel. They were also on top of approving his heartworm preventative Rx in Chewy. I'm glad we chose TLC!

Regardless of which other Dr., tech, or front counter staff I've interacted with they're always professional and friendly. Experiencia negativa: Overall felt like this veterinarian hospital dropped the ball multiple times while caring for my dog. When my dog was in a critical state where he needed to get surgery they really were unhelpful in navigating what I should do, where I should go, what animal hospitals have which services. Two days after critical care, I had a question about my dog’s care and called, never received a phone call back and learned that we got “lost” in their system which caused them never to follow up, or give me an opportunity to ask more questions (again my dog was in critical condition, and I expected a bit more organization). Finally when I asked for my dog’s vet records, they only sent one portion, when they finally sent the vaccination records they could not answer how far back the vaccinations go, citing that “this new system is messing everything up and that they didn’t know where the rest of the vet records were.” (Looking over the vet vaccination records, I still haven’t received what I believe to be the whole thing… I understand that stuff happens, but to drop the ball 3 times in a short amount of time is not acceptable.

Experiencia fantástica: TLC Pet Hospital is great. Everybody is very friendly and they answer all of my questions (even when I feel like I'm asking too many). Dr. Hood is amazing. She diagnosed my senior cat, Leo, with hyperthyroidism, and she helped us get medication that controlled his thyroid levels without making him sick. She also performed Leo's dental cleaning / teeth extractions. She kept me updated on cost changes throughout the procedure and TLC checked in on Leo the day after to see that he was recovering well. When I let them know that Leo wasn't eating much after his teeth cleaning/extractions, they gave him appetite stimulants for free. I love and highly recommend TLC Pet Hospital!

Experiencia fantástica: TLC has served as our primary vet for my chihuahua for about 4 years. As our little Achilles got older and his health issues mounted, they took great care of him. When he shows early signs of ear and spinal issues, we thought he only had two weeks left, he managed to stay comfortable and happy with us for an extra year. When his spinal issues inevitably resulted in hind leg paralysis, TLC was able to provide us with a space where we could say our goodbyes and finally let our dog rest, free from suffering. Cremation services were offered, and we got a pawprint and fur tuft, along with an urn with our chihuahuas ashes. Achilles is home. Rest in peace, buddy. We love and miss you. Thank you, TLC, for everything.

Experiencia fantástica: we had initially scheduled an appointment to put our cat, Bud, down at 11am. unfortunately Bud passed earlier in the morning. we brought him straight in as we were planning to use their private cremation service regardless. i wish i got her name, but the blonde receptionist was so kind and patient as we said goodbye to Bud. she sat there and patiently listened as i told her about Bud and his favorite things. she gave us the time we needed to say goodbye even though we came in without notice 3 hours before our scheduled appointment. would recommend them 100%. thank you again

Experiencia fantástica: We love TLC pet hospital. We have taken our miniature yorkie there since he was a puppy. All of the staff are kind and caring to our dog. We have seen multiple different vets at TLC and all have been great. We are willing to see any vet at TLC since every experience has been good with each. We recently had our dogs first dental cleaning and the experience was great—I love that they do pre work to ensure it safe and even called me while he was under to tell me he was doing well. We have recommended TLC to all of our friends and family.

Experiencia negativa: My staffy is over 13 years old, last time I took him there it cost me $350 for his physical exam, yes there was blood work and heartworm medication. But I have spent over $6,000 on my beautiful dog since he was 2 years old Dr Salas has done an ACL, my dog has hip problems and joint pain, today I went in to get his medication refilled because I have to shut my house down is in the mountains, the girls at the front desk said oh he has to be seen which I understand, but I've been hesitant to take him back in because during his physical the tech said we need to take him to the back My dog obviously wanted to stay with me and the tech pinned my dog against the wall with his knee. And then when he open the door to take my dog to the back once again he shoved his knee on my dog's bad hips and slid him around the corner I could not get my dog to go for a walk for 3 days after his physical! They did not even check his ears they had to take him back for a second round I thought checking the ears was part of the physical, The next day I was very upset on how my dog was treated. I made an appointment today but I think I'm going to cancel it. TLC doesn't care about your pet it's a money pit. Not willing to take care of your dog while he's in pain is just unthinkable. His doctor's name is Aaron Long. With me going in there personally and letting the front desk know I was taking my dog to the mountains for a week they could have at least said well let me get one of the doctors and see what we can do. Sorry to have to post TLC . But you did not inform me that he needed to be seen six months later.

We understand that you requested a medication last month that is a controlled substance. We needed the exam in order to fill it. As for the visit you are referring to in the above review happened over a year ago. We have gone back and reviewed the case and files, and this is not at all what you are describing. When we called you several days in a row in regards to your last visit to check on your pet, all was great. If you had a negative experience or felt your pet was abused in any way, we wish you would have communicated this to us immediately instead of a year later.

She has since had two procedures (surgery) at the facility which have been smooth and successful. Experiencia fantástica: My pet's veterinarian and her assistant were very caring and sensitive towards my dog. They understood how scared and nervous my dog was and conducted the exam gingerly. The doctor was very informative with the results and explaining the treatments he would need, but leaving the final decision to me. Everyone at TLC are very considerate and respectful. They truly care about you and your pets.

Experiencia fantástica: Ten months ago we rescued a dog that had been abused. He bites if anyone attempts to touch him. We brought him to a vet specified by the Rescue and they began by giving him sedatives. Still, they wouldn’t even agree to cut his nails or take blood for a heart worm test. So the behaviorist we’re consulting told us about vets trained for fear responses. We went to TLC and they had better approaches and understanding of our reactive dog. He was still horrible with them but better than he had been previously. The vet and 2 techs spent a lot of time with us and listened to our concerns. We’ll be going again next week to try for that blood sample.

Experiencia fantástica: Our little guy had some bad dental issues going on. Apparently when we were taking him yearly for his checkups they were not actually checking his teeth like they should have been. We came to TLC and they found he needed to have multiple teeth pulled. They deep clean removed seven teeth in total and were amazing both with his anxiety and pain that he had been in. Now my little boy is back to being a happy happy guy.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience of my life. I have a 11 year old pup who's had a double FHO surgery. Took her in for a wellness exam and to get a mysterious bump checked out. We pulled up and the vet tech was already very rude. Almost felt like we were getting judged for bringing our pup in.. doctor Jocelyn Hood came in, and basically hog threw my dog on her side to take a look at the mysterious bump. She then started moving her hips in all sorts of weird direction until she finally yelped. I walked out, and asked for a manager. I asked the manager for a new doctor and a new tech and explained my situation. They seemed to care, and promised me it would happen. About 15 minutes later, Cassie who was a practice manager, and another gentleman who was in brown scrubs, came in with estimates? Cassie at that point started accusing and got very disrespectful. I tried to reason with her, but got laughed at by both her and the gentleman that is a tech. All this after I was promised a new doctor.. long story short.. paid $70 for a visit that was never complete, was pushed to buy certain things and was given 0 explanation on, and never got was I was trying to get looked at, looked at. So now we are down $70 and came home with more frustration and questions than I came in with. This is the worst place to bring the animal you so deeply love.

Experiencia negativa: Please think twice about bringing ur fur babies here. This is not like the old tlc. The new generation veteran's are all about how much money they can bring in/or just all about being a doctor! The lack of compassion was mind blowing. The communication an management there is horrible.. The end result was I lost my pup please support another local vet or mobile service save urself the pain. UPDATE: I told the doctor what to do and if she didn't want to, give my pup to me I'll go elsewhere. Her first diagnosis was WRONG. Plus Dr long never called me back! I didn't need the blood work I knew the problem due to me being persistent on X-ray!!!! still was charged for the blood work. If this is how u guys make ur money shame on you!!!!!please #505 help me and don't support!!

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO TO TLC PET HOSPITAL!Veterinarian LIZ GEORGES pushed me!! I voiced my concerns about her lack of care and concern for my dog. I was also there for my 2nd free visit as part of a senior care package I purchased months ago. They tried to charge me for a new exam as well as adding services that the veterinarian did not discuss with me. When I wanted to speak to another veterinarian about the situation, Dr. LIZ GEORGES came back and wanted me to leave and said I was "fired" and "banned". She was so dismissive, I was shocked at her behavior and how irrational she was being. All because I feel like she was impersonal and showed no concern for my dogs well being? I went to the front desk because since she was "banning" me, I needed another bag of subcontainious fluids, we all know how long it takes to get into a new vet clinic. She told the front desk not to sell me anything and said she would call the police. Well knowing very well that I had done nothing wrong, I told her to go ahead and call. I would be waiting until the front office staff was done printing up my records (again we all know how long it would take to get them by mail). She then came up and pushed me. I am shocked that TLC pet hospital allows their veterinarians to get away with this sort of behavior. It's inexcusable! I have health issues that she triggered as part of her actions. She is a professional and I am a customer there with my dying dog. There is absolutely no excuse for her behavior! She has NO RIGHT to put her hands on me, regardless of the circumstances. I do not deserve the emotional, mental, and physical anguish I have endured. I had been a customer there for years. I am utterly disgusted with that woman and that clinic. How can someone be allowed to get away with this in her line of work? They took an oath and now because of her actions, my dog, who is in stage 3 kidney disease, is the one who has to suffer. UPDATED: Dr. Salas, that is not what happened. You know very well you are in the wrong. Professional's do not push their clients. I have updated my post with details of what REALLY HAPPENED!

We can stay in our car until an exam room is available then enter through a side door so that my guy doesn’t have to be in a busy lobby getting stressed out by other dogs. They’re very caring!

Experiencia positiva: Super kind staff but 7:30 am drop off for a procedure that won’t take place until 3:00 pm is just not humane for some animals, especially ones with traumatic pasts that still have lots of fear. This isn’t the process for human surgeries; a small change in processes could make a huge difference in these special companions lives.

In general, yes, we have our surgical patients get dropped off early so we can get them examined, start with their pre meds, and get them on IV fluids. Our schedule during the day always changes so sometimes we are able to do the procedures at different times so we want them here to be ready to go. They get well taken care of, walked, and are kept comfortable during their stay. We are happy to discuss this further with you if you would like.

Experiencia positiva: My animals have been patients of TLC since approximately 2016. The veterinarians and technicians have consistently demonstrated care and compassion towards our pets. They are responsive to our questions and provide excellent treatment for our animals. However, over the past year, we have observed a noticeable decline in the quality of service with TLC when it comes to making inquiries and scheduling appointments. For instance, last summer, I utilized the website portal to inquire about scheduling our puppy for spaying and never heard back. I did not receive a response until I called to follow up, which defeats the purpose of the inquiry portal. Additionally, my husband has made multiple attempts to update his contact number as the primary number on our account. Despite being assured at nearly every visit that the change would be made, it has not yet happened. Most recently, we scheduled an appointment for our senior dog due to a persistent cough. Our dog seemed to be improving (he went 24 hours without a cough) so we cancelled the appointment. Unfortunately, within 20 minutes of cancelling the appointment our dog suddenly displayed signs of severe pain and was unable to bear weight on his right paw. When my husband called back to seek assistance, he was placed on hold for nearly 30 minutes, informed that the appointment time was already filled, and offered an appointment for the following day instead. I called attempting to escalate the urgency of the situation and despite confirming that the situation was an emergency, we were still placed on hold. Subsequently, we were provided with contact information for six other veterinary offices and a dismissive commentary of “be sure to call first because all places are short staffed.” We opted to seek immediate care at an emergency vet clinic and they advised us to maintain our appointment with TLC, scheduled for the next day, for additional follow up care. On the day of the appointment TLC called me and left one voicemail requesting to confirm the appointment. Regrettably, due to my work commitments, I was unable to access my phone and the appointment was cancelled. To compound matters, the staff member later lied and stated that they left four voicemails before canceling our appointment. Notably, our repeated requests to change the primary contact number on our account were to prevent a situation like this from occurring. Frustratingly, we had to schedule another appointment for the following day. When we expressed our concern about ensuring the appointment would not be cancelled again due to same day confirmation requirements, we were informed that confirmation wasn't necessary because the appointment was occurring within 24 hours… despite our literal experience of just having our previous appointment cancelled under identical circumstances. Best wishes to anyone needing to navigate past the front desk staff in order to access medical care for your animals.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently had our dog Sweetie treated for an ear infection. Dr. Long, the veterinmarian, spent a good bit of time with her investigating the problem. I am forever grateful for the care, attention, and delicacy that they used in my situation. Here's to hoping euthanasia isn't on the table anytime soon for you but if is, these people will take care of you and your loved one.

Experiencia fantástica: Saw my fur babies within a week of calling them for appointment. Got flea medication for both. The techs and Dr there were great with them. Definitely recommend them to others. Bonus they are less then a mile from where I live.

Experiencia fantástica: This clinic is a bit of ways off from where I live however it's worth the drive as everyone is very kind. One of the best qualities of TLC is that they are transparent about their fees and they respectful of client budget constraints.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice place. Our dog had ACL surgery here and she is feeling much better. The Vet techs and Dr’s are very knowledgeable and empathetic to our dog’s needs. They understand that dogs are a very important part of our family. We felt very comfortable with our dog’s procedures at this facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this pet clinic/hospital. I have an aging Siamese cat, and the staff is extremely good with him, very caring and gentle. I love that they have separate cat and dog areas. They go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and care for him. I took him in yesterday for vaccines and the vet tech weighed him, took his temperature and checked with the vet before deciding not to give him a certain vaccine. Today I got a call to check on how he was doing after having his rabies shot. They provide a senior discount. And their prices are very reasonable. I am very happy with TLC.

Experiencia fantástica: We come to TLC to see Dr. Georges, who has been providing veterinary care for my dog, Piper, since she was a puppy. After over 5 years of vaccines and other tests and procedures, Dr. Georges is still one of Piper’s favorite people. By this point, she has gotten to know me as a client and my comfort level with pursuing different treatment plans, but she is always thorough in explaining when there are different options to let you choose what best meets your current goals/circumstances. On every visit she makes sure to ask what questions or concerns I have as a pet parent, and then she actually listens and thoughtfully responds. She is caring and straightforward and committed to practicing exceptional veterinary medicine, so we will continue to go to TLC as long as she is there. We have enjoyed the hospital, as well. The new facility is spacious, clean, and updated. The staff has been friendly and helpful and their pricing is very reasonable.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Levin is a fantastic and caring vet. My Hedgehog is always well taken care the staff absolutely love my little ouch mouse. Hedgehog owners, Dr. Levin is the way to go. Not only does she see exotics, but she also used to own a Hedgehog.

Experiencia fantástica: Nice office and one of the shortest waits of any recent appointments. Regarding Dr. Georges, we loved the astute attention to detail and endearing bedside manner. My daughter praised her wealth of good advice for a new pet owner. She quickly won our dog and us over. We learned how to encourage and care for our new Chihuahua, what important things to be aware of and various other aspects of new dog ownership. We've found our forever vet for our pet!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a long time client of TLC Pet hospital. They have always provided my pets with great service and kindness. I have had the pleasure of having my older girls being seen by Dr. Georges. She has always been kind and patient with my pets and myself. Always fully explaining what she is doing as she is doing the exams and why she recommends certain diagnostics. She has always had the best interest of my pet's care. When I added a elderly Chihuahua to the gang, she came up with a plan to help improve his Quality of Life. Though he was with us for only 2 months, he had the best quality care provided by Dr. Georges. She would call weekly to check and see how he was doing. I have and will always be grateful for her saving my Maisy's life, when she went into Anaphylaxis Shock, though Maisy is no longer with us, I send Dr. Georges a thank you for giving me that much more time with her, as I could have lost her a few years ago. There is so much more appreciative moments I could list, but please make an appointment to see her and get the same quality care for your pets when she is their Doctor. You cannot go wrong with Dr. Georges and TLC pet hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: I became a client at TLC Pet Hospital about two years ago at the urging/recommendation of my veterinarian, Dr. Georges. I'd met her 8 years prior, when she was on staff at a veterinary clinic near my former home. Among the clinics where she has offered her services, TLC Pet Hospital was one she felt had the client's best interest as one of its core values coupled with an exemplary group of veterinarians working there. I have found the culture at TLC to be professional, courteous and caring. Appointment reminders are always sent via text and e-mail to me, phone calls following a procedure are made within 24 hours to check on the status of the patient, and the check-in staff, in my experience, is always friendly, kind and respectful. In the 10 years I've known Dr Georges, she has provided top-notch veterinary care to my fur babies: a now deceased Chow Chow dog, two now deceased Siamese cats, and is currently caring for my two rescue Siamese felines. I have the utmost confidence in her knowledge of veterinary medicine and in her skills and abilities as a veterinarian. Dr Georges has my complete trust when it comes to medical care for my fur babies and has always demonstrated a kind and caring demeanor towards me and my pets.

Experiencia fantástica: TLC is a hospital full of hard working doctors and staff that care deeply for their patients. Dr Georges has been our family’s veterinarian for many years and we are happy when we can see her at TLC. She cared for two of our geriatric patients in the last year and was kind, compassionate and a true professional when we had to say our hard goodbyes. We appreciate her and the caring staff of TLC

Experiencia fantástica: We brought our two senior dogs here for their shots and check ups. Staff was friendly and Dr. Hood was great, especially with my beagle who is not great with strangers. Everything was explained well and all of our concerns were answered.

Experiencia fantástica: I just took my cat Penny for her new client visit to TLC Pet hospital. We adopted Penny from the East Side Albuquerque Animal Humane and selected TLC from their list of recommended providers. Our first visit was free because we scheduled it within two weeks of our adoption. We were seen right at our scheduled time and the tech and the doctor gave her a thorough once over. The office is convenient to us and efficient and friendly! I look forward to years of great care for my little Penny

Experiencia fantástica: I have been using TLC Pet Hospital since 1993. My first pet was a Black Pomeranian, Dr. Salas was his doctor for many years until he passed away. Dr. Brianna Brandt, is now the Doctor that currently cares for my Toy Schnauzer Oscar. Oscar is my World, he has been going to TLC ever since he was a Puppy… he is now 13 years old. The TLC staff has been great to my Pets & me all these years and I will continue to use them for all my Pets needs as long as I have Pets. They are very knowledgeable and caring. I recommend them to anyone. Thank you Dr, Brandt & Staff!! ❤️

Everyone (from the receptionists to the vet techs to the vets) is always so kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. Experiencia fantástica: I've been through 4 Vets since I got my dog 5 years ago. Finally, we've found a thorough , friendly, and reasonably priced place. Dr Lavin finally diagnosed an issue that my dog was having, after spending hundreds at other Vets. Great staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Long is amazing. Our dog has been especially complicated and she has been very diligent and responsive about helping to make sure our girl is doing the best she can. Forever grateful for the front desk staff and tech as well. I have called a million times and everyone knows my dog now, haha. I can’t say enough about TLC.
