Experiencia fantástica: Left a previous negative review due to issues with a staff member but the clinic director was quick to rectify the issue. Thank you for making it right as we love Dr. Mike and Dr. Bayes and it's not their fault we had a negative experience. We've been with this clinic for nearly 20 years now starting with Dr. Dana whom we followed from a different clinic they've treated all our babies through the years with the same level of care and respect. Thank you again for making it right.

Is there anybody out there that has compassion anymore or actually loves animals and wants to help them because they don't want them to die?! Because my cat is dying and I don't have the money for him to be seen and all anybody wants is money nobody wants to actually help my cat. Where are all the good people left in this world?! Update: he told me to call back and it would help my cat and when I called back I got a voicemail the voicemail hung up on me halfway through my voicemail I didn't even get to leave my number call my cat still sits here suffering

Tomas clipped my girls nails and gave her cytopoint injection. He was kind and professional. We have german shepherds and he handled her without concerns. The staff is always nice, kind and respectful I’m grateful we have Dr Bays and her team taking care of our girls. Thank you!!!

They talked us through the whole process, gave us time to say goodbye to our pet with our 6 year old son, and did not push or rush any decisions. They had great communication skills so I was very aware of what was happening with my pet during the process. My cat is feeling a lot better. I am so grateful we took him here.

Experiencia fantástica: We took our boy Rocki for his first Vet visit to get him established. Dr. Key and her staff were fantastic with him. They gave him lots of encouragement and praise for being a good boy which set him at ease. He has only been to a Vet Clinic for shots but would be shaking and whining. Not here he was more himself and even comfortable to let another pupper come up to him and exchange hellos. He’s a senior dog now at 9 years old so we felt that it was time to get him checked even though overall he’s been in excellent health. Rocki was cared for very well. He got his blood work done. He did have a yeast infection in his ears. The Vet techs cleaned his ears and provided him some ear med to clear up. He came home happy and calm. I recommend bringing your fur babies here it was an excellent first experience for him all around.

I took Willow in because her allergies caused her to scratch so intensely She was examined and given effective medication to allow her to rest and reduced the intensity of her desire to scratch herself. She was able to sleep all night. I will be checking back in to see if the rabies vaccination is available. I prefer the 3 year version,but would have her take the 1 year. Carmen Taylor

Experiencia negativa: Received an estimate for $725 online for neutering (special case), and once I went for a pre-checkup, it increased by over $500...in addition to the $100 visit. I will never go back.

Experiencia fantástica: We took our 8 month old Toby to get neutered and to get 2 baby teeth pulled that weren't going to come out on their own. Dr. Mike did a great job and it couldn't have gone better. Toby never showed any signs of discomfort and is doing great. He is not a fan of his cone, but is putting up with it. We also have another dog who has cancer on her lip and he shows great care to her. Yesterday we introduced him to our new dog and he was great with her. He gets on the floor with the pets and makes them as comfortable as possible. He also doesn’t rush the process. Excellent!!

Experiencia negativa: Do NOT recommend this vet “hospital,” I called to get some information about my pregnant dog, and was told after a hold that basically if you're not a “patient” that they recommend going elsewhere. I hung up immediately, my first question if a representative from the office sees this, why do you think i was calling in the first place? And second of all, even in the event someones pet is not a patient yet, i think that the receptionist answering phones should be a little more receptive and ask some question and make at least an attempt to help, given the job and location that has been chosen, and to get information about the animal before directing them elsewhere. What a great way to run an “animal hospital.”

Experiencia negativa: If I could give them 0 stars I would. My dog had dental surgery done by them. Days later he had difficulty walking. I called the office to let them know about his symptoms and I was told that "the vet says you should take him to the er, if you are concerned about him". This is what I am told after I spent $2500.00 on his dental surgery? Take him somewhere else? I didn't even get a call back from the vet.

Experiencia positiva: Called ahead of time to assure they would see my new doberman with specific requests. They assured me they could treat my puppy. Left, disappointed. The vet was unable to post my puppies ears and was unfamiliar with "knuckling" in large breeds. Although they advertise specialty service. Vet said her recommendations for my pups diet would be on my exit paperwork, yet got home to find nothing... no instructions, but a 200.00 bill. Different from reviews, what is advertised and more important what I called ahead of time to assure they could treat request ... disappointed. I WAS SURPRISED TO receive a follow-up call based on my review. It is apparent that their business is important to them and they truly care about who they serve. Although my new doberman was not a good fit for their service, they followed up and attempted to remedy the situation. This was welcomed and thoughtful.

However this last time, I was puzzled as to why they had to take my pets into the “back” to be examined and vaccinated. This made me very very uncomfortable as all my previous visits, exams and vaccines were always done in the exam room so I can be there with my pets. Why has this changed? Also, it floored me how expensive this trip to the vet was with my pets!

She listens, truly wants to know what is happening with our kiddos, addresses the problem, is up to date with meds and treatments. Is comfortable taking care of big dogs (gets on the floor to examine them). She communicates and truly cares. So happy we have her as a vet. She was quick to bounce back without any complications . I recently added a dog to the family and will be taking him there too.

Experiencia negativa: TERRIBLE VET!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!! My senior dog began throwing up and had horrible diarrhea just hours after your vaccinations. After 2 days I called and informed them about my dog and asked to be seen. The receptionist just argued with me saying the shots did not make my dog sick! I asked to speak to the vet or vet tech; she refused! She told me to give my dig pumpkin! She also said the vet could see my dog in September. September!!! What!! I took my pet to Petroglyph Vet and they said my dog was having an allergic reaction to the vaccines. I will never set foot in Taylor Ranch Veterinary again!!

Dr. Mike is the most knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced veterinarian I've ever known. He cares so much for the health and well-being of animals and it's clear in the phenomenal care he provides. He knows how to put both anxious pets and anxious pet-owners at ease and treats everyone like old friends. Not only an amazing vet but truly a remarkable human being.

I was told by one vet to put my dog down that there was nothing she can do or any treatment . Dr.Mike put him on antibiotics and he is like brand new again . I am so grateful for this place!!! Experiencia negativa: I thought that I liked this vet, I've been taking my dog here for a couple years but it feels like they care more about making money now than taking care of your pet. My dog was injured recently and all signs pointed to a torn ligament, I took her in and they confirmed that was most likely the case but she would need x-rays to confirm she needed the TPLO surgery, they charged me $130 and sent me home with all the TPLO surgery information and an estimate for the x-rays of $761.98. When we came back for the X-rays the price came out to over $1100 because they added a radiology consult that was not on the original estimate. AFTER doing the X-ray, they let me know that they don't actually do the surgery there and recommended me to other vets that do it, now we have to get more preliminary x-rays by the vet that will actually do the surgery. I spent over $1000 that could have gone towards the actual surgery cost had they told me in our first appointment that they don't do the surgery there, they should have been more upfront about it before doing x-rays.
