Dr's Helsinger and Hapner are truly kind people that have proved time and time again their professionalism and compassion. The entire staff feels like family to me and my fur babies, and we are so greatful for everyone of them. I couldn't imagine nagivagating my cats diabetes with any other crew. I live in the Oakwood area, but I would travel any distance to know my cats will receive the best care possible. We can't recommend them enough!

I will always take my dogs to the Northridge animal shelter as long as they're open and doctor at hepner works there and if he leaves I would have to go and check out another doctor which they have there on the spot it's the only place I really trust been going to that animal clinic for about 35 years it started with Dr Christy he was good and then Dr happner he is good also so I stayed and I'm happy and so is my dog blue boy.

I may have started going for this particular reason for my one cat but I can tell you that they will be my new vet now for all five of my cats. They really do care about the pet and the owner. You can tell.

Experiencia fantástica: BLUF: this is a great clinic with great customer service and sympathetic support. We feel so blessed to have found this clinic. Dr Helsinger and her staff are professional, courteous, and quick to respond. They answer all of our questions patiently and we never feel rushed during our time there. Scheduling has not been a problem for us and this clinic actually answers their phone. They respond to the messages we send via telehealth or when we leave voicemail for medications. Their service is quick and efficient but also they really love what they do. When our 16 year old dog with Addison’s needed surgery on his eye we were really scared of the risks involved but Dr Helsinger answered all of my concerns and made sure we did everything possible to make sure he was in the best shape to handle the anesthesia and recover successfully. We have been to vets all over the country in our travels but I believe we’ve received the best care here.

The other good thing is they didn't push a bunch of vaccines on us for our dog. They got my dog in same day I called for an appt and I only waited less than 5 minutes to get in the room and see the doctor.

Experiencia fantástica: Braden had been a patient at Northridge Animal Clinic his entire life and was first seen by Dr Hapner. Unfortunately we had to lay him to rest before his 15th birthday. He became very lethargic and we took him in for an emergency visit. We thought it was from a bad tooth or abscess due to a foul odor in his mouth. But Dr Helsinger quickly determined what it was before his blood was even tested. It turned out to be end of life kidney failure. Not what we were expecting to hear at all. We were allowed all of the time we needed to process what was about to happen, and they even waited until all of our family members arrived who wanted to say their final goodbyes to him. Dr Helsinger and the team of techs were absolutely amazing in assisting us during that difficult time. We are forever grateful for the almost 15 years of care that Braden received.

Facility is always clean. Treats are always available in the lobby and rooms. Prices are affordable and easy to manage. I will come here as long as I live in southern Ohio.

My dad and I had to take our little old man cat to be put to sleep and the vet was so understanding and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and was extremely empathetic This time I brought my little man for a check up, I was running behind but they worked things around so I didnt have to pay extra or come back later! My baby was seen by Kyle, I was worried that something was seriously wrong but he did a comprehensive exam and was able to ease my mind and provide a lot of relief for my baby! The front desk team is also awesome and was super friendly and accomodating! Highly highly recommend this whole team!

I brought my Frenchie here for her puppy shots and they treated her so well she didn’t even realize she was getting them. She is so happy to see them all and the vet knows just what to do to make sure she had a great experience.

Kind, patient, and compassionate with every animal we have ever brought in. They work diligently to find solutions for whatever needs your pet has, no matter how complex. Extremely patient with my pets who are vocal or nervous. Prices are fair and they have never tried to get me to spend money on unnecessary procedures or medications, only what will truly improve quality of life for the animals. I have trusted them with everything from annual wellness, surgeries, and even euthanasia when it came time to say goodbye to our beloved pets. They’ve been nothing but respectful and kind. Experiencia fantástica: The absolute BEST! Dr. Hapner is kind and professional and very knowledgeable! I live an hour and 15 minutes north and bring my dogs to him because he is that awesome! He has recommended an oncologist and a specialized surgeon for my female pit bull and then an internal medicine specialist vet for my male. He always takes the time to discuss needs, if necessary- no rushing you out the door. He truly loves animals, you can tell!

When I brought her in Chasity was so helpful in this unexpected situation that I found myself in. I just wanted to shout her out for being such a kind soul.

The doctors and staff love animals and you can tell in every interaction with your pet that they care. Excellent response time if your pet is ill and wonderful bereavement practices. The best.

I believe his vet’s name was Dr Hapner very kind and knowledgeable man. The facility was VERY CLEAN !! Everything was explained throughly before it was done. So an otherwise anxious experience for not only Ralph but myself turned out beautifully! I couldn’t be more pleased.

Experiencia fantástica: I first discovered Northridge Animal Clinic about two years ago while transitioning from our previous provider. We heard about them through a friend and are so happy to have found them. We decided to switch because of how we were treated during the final weeks of my dog Chloe’s life. Without going into too many details, our previous provider made us feel as though Chloe was just a means for them to make money during her final days. They made an already difficult situation worse, and we were still dealing with them nearly a week after Chloe’s passing. This is when we knew we had to find another provider for our remaining sweet girl, Lola. Northridge Animal Clinic has been an absolute gift to our family. The staff are friendly from the moment you walk through the door. I haven’t met a doctor or vet tech there who didn’t seem both knowledgeable and caring. This has been Lola’s vet location for the past two years, and they have taken amazing care of her. Not once have I ever felt we were being offered unnecessary treatments, and the staff are always so excited to see her when we come in. Lola has lived a long 14.5 years, and I’m struggling to write this review because we’ll be saying goodbye to her tomorrow. I just wanted to leave this review because this experience, as painful as it is, has been made a bit less stressful because of the guidance and care we’ve received from Northridge Animal Clinic. We have received the absolute best from the moment we walked through the doors on our very first visit, and I would recommend and encourage anyone with a fur baby to consider them. They educate just as much as they provide care. I can’t thank them enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I like this place. I did get a negative, snarky, condensing comment from 1 lady right after the vet himself diagnosed my dog with being deaf. She said in an almost argumentative way. "He's not deaf!!" She added an uncomfortable laugh. I was not amused. Other than her and her actions today. Which im going to sum up as her personal off day. I would and will continue to recommend this veterinary clinic to the masses. Its staff, for the most part, are very nice and knowledgeable that the humans and animals are the complete package. The young lady with braids she was beyond nice and caring. I do not remember her name. If I did I would suggest the other lady ro do a day of retaining and follow her around to simply get a refresher on how to talk with people. The lady's that helped check us out were both understanding as I was getting pulled towards the door. I thanked them both for understanding.

We signed up for their care membership a couple of years ago. It's a good deal and ensures our cat is getting quality treatment as he ages.

Experiencia fantástica: Facility feels a bit outdated. The front desk staff could be a bit friendlier. The vet we saw was very nice. Overall they did a decent job with my dog on our first visit there. I had to switch vets and they came recommended from people at the dog park.

Experiencia fantástica: Been taking my dog Maybe there for awhile. I had to put him down today, they were very caring. Definitely recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: Brought our dog there multiple times for an ear infection that never went away . The tried to put some meds in the ear which they failed at and they would not give him sedation to calm him down . Then they prescribed a very expensive dog food which after a few months did not work when we told them it was not working they would not do anything else except say let’s just keep trying with the dog food . Dog food was not working . They were more interested in pimping out expensive dog food over just giving him the meds he needed .

Experiencia negativa: We took our female German Shepherd that was 11 weeks on July 7 because she wasn't eatinThey took a test on her not our male. They said that he wasn't showing signs that's why they didn't.Our female died at 12:05am Sunday morning. Our male passed 12 hours later. I blame this place for not trying to save him. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. They don't care. No stars at all, I was forced to give a star or no post. Now my furbabies are gone forever.

Experiencia negativa: Was satisfied with this vet until I called to get my dogs heart worm medicine refilled. They told me they could not refill it because I needed a yearly heart worm test, that this was the law. I am going through a health crisis with a blood cancer.that makes any activity extremely difficult. I am also severely immune compromised. Because of this a visit to the vet right now is not possible. I asked them to make an exception because of my condition. They refused. First, there is no law that requires a yearly heart worm test. Second, showing a total lack of compassion for one of your customers makes me wonder how much they care about the pets they treat. I would advise anyone thinking about using this vet to reconsider. All they needed to do to keep me happy as a customer was to make an exception to their policy. Their policies are evidently more important than their customers.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been bringing my pets here for years! Dr. Christy couldn't have picked a more wonderful and caring doctors to take over the clinic. Dr. Hapner and Dr. Helsinger has worked extensively with one of my cats and I have always felt so comfortable and confident in their decisions. Great atmosphere, clean, and super friendly and caring. EVERYONE there has always been understanding and helpful with any questions I have (no matter how silly I think they are). After having such great care from them for years it's hard to trust anyone else with my animals. A specialist was recommended and the doctor they referred me to was just as wonderful. I always know my cats are in great hands there.
