They care about every single living creature that walks through their doors — not just as patients, but as lives that truly matter. They never cease to amaze me with how far they’re willing to go to help, to problem solve, to stay late, to love harder, and to show up when it counts the most. Rescue is not easy, and having a team like this in our corner makes all the difference. This is also my PERSONAL vet and they love my dogs just as their own! They deserve every bit of it — for their compassion, their dedication, and the countless lives they save every single day.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow, I was going to wait for a few more visits but after our first visit and the follow up communication I had to write this review and will plan to update later. based on our experience I really think it will continue to be amazing. We saw Dr. Trebbe. She was personal, educated and great with kids/ animals. There are just so many things I liked that this clinic is doing. 1-within reason they let you be present for exams. obviously when there could be a safety concern they would do it in the back but they do the exam in front and allow you to be an active role and comfort your fur babies! 2-The education is spot on something I was missing before. 3-Every single staff member I met was kind and engaging.4- waiting area was comfortable and clean. -engaging place-photo booth and was able to capture a cute photo of our daughter and her service dog. 4- communication/ dedication to service.What i found most surprising is that i received a follow up email. I was not expecting that. it detailed as a reminder of what the plan was concerns what they plan to monitor. We are coming from an office where we spent 6 years and discovered the care was lacking, not evidence based and documentation was falsified after a case was made. Our only complaint… was not knowing about Dr. Trebbe/ this office sooner! From my special needs daughter “i am so glad they didn’t take **** away do look at him( her dog) I didn’t know his heart was there or his lungs were there. i get scared at dr apts and he doesn’t leave me. i shouldn’t leave him, I like that about this place mommy”. ~>so as you can see she was learning about her dog and found comfort in their practice. I did too! we look forward to continuing to partner with Dr. Trebbe and her wonderful clinic so that our animals have a healthy happy life :) lastly price something no pet owner likes to really think about choosing to spend $ on their pet vs. denying them care. I will say compared to our typical visits at the other clinic they are more generous and fair pricing.

My youngest had to have two emergency surgeries in one week this past July, I also took her in several times in between for reactions to meds etc, every single visit they were all so patient and helpful and really cared about getting Mattie better. Experiencia negativa: Not a fan, tried them out a few times but sadly was disappointed. They fumble sending/receiving records, the vets to me don't seem personal imo. Prices are high, they itemize and charge for everything they do, if your low income or need to be seen right away go elsewhere. Love to charge you for money, they care more about selling flea and heartworm prevention that curing your pet. My dog had HGE that didn't get diagnosed properly bc they were more concerned about a heartworm test ..

Experiencia fantástica: Booked an emergency appt for putting my Ernestine to sleep, and even though fully booked they got me in. Both the vet tech and the Dr were visibly sad when they came in. The vet did a quick check on her and told me the news, which I already expected. They both explained what would happen and made sure I understood. After the procedure they gave me time to grieve. I could have expected any more professionalism and compassion than what I was showed. I highly recommend North Main Animal Clinic.

Experiencia negativa: It's funny that shows up on my timeline to write a review and you're going to love this. I haven't been back there since last year because of their fraud and malpractice... they charged me a hundred and something dollars for flea prevention when my dog didn't have fleas but I bought it for preventative measures and then 30 days later when I took Ash back in for his second round of shots the doctor came in with the fine-tooth comb and started going to his hair and then set out loud "oh there's a flea, here's a flea on him, look at this flea" as if she just scratched off a winning lottery ticket and then I responded "oh really, so you mean that stuff you charged me a hundred something dollars for last month isn't working??" Then she said oh never mind it's just a piece of dirt. Yeah that don't fly with me so they can enjoy scamming other people but I'm not dealing with all that drama.

Experiencia fantástica: our cat was on his way of passing away. seemed like he was taking his last breaths. never encountered this before. i was outside smoking a cig crying and the nurse came out and said we need the family in here. i came back in and Bailey and dr kris and both of the receptionists jumped into action right away. our Matteo kitty somehow started making biscuits with his paws and god said he is not ready for death. he is still sleeping at home. But i give ALL our thanks to the staff here. YOUR STAFF IS AWESOME. thank you and we loved our visit. wish you all the best. he just passed away.

Experiencia negativa: First time going to this vet recently due to an emergency. Woke up at 5 to excercise my dog for two hours before the appointment so she'd be somewhat calm. My usual vet couldn't get my pitbull (josie) in, but she was losing her mind. She has severe behavioral problem, severe anxiety, and absolutely cannot be left alone without the risk of her damaging herself or others or the house. I'll give this vets office credit for being able to get her in short notice, but when we made the appointment we let them know she's to the point of break down and that behavioral euthanasia was on the table however we wanted to try meds (again). This dog had just ripped out of crate meant for 125lbs dogs, completely mutilated her face, punctured her head and potentially broke her paw when we took her in, she was only alone for 6 hours with toys, treats, water and a bed. I was beside myself with how badly she had injured herself. My boyfriend was kind enough to take her to the appointment and just call me when the vet came in so I could speak to her, I couldn't get time off work. I could barely get a "hi" out before she started a long winded tangent about how "it is against HER moral code to put down a 'healthy' three year old dog and that she can recommend training or rescues" that 'healthy' three year old dog once cried till she gave herself a double nose bleed over a bath, she ate through a wall, busted through a door frame AFTER breaking out of a crate, injured crated dogs near her, shredded curtains, shoes, clothes, blankets, my dead mothers vinyl records, fence post, bath tub (yes the bathtub), my HOTTUB, electrical conduit that was buried 2 1/2 feet deep, AND THATS NOT EVEN EVERYTHING. We have had this dog for over two years and have tried e-collars, crates of all kinds, muzzles, meds, reached out to the shelter that I got her from and worked with their trainer, cbd, got her a friend, more toys, more enrichment, anything I could think of even if it seemed dumb just because I was so desperate for her to get better. Not to mention we were at the vet to get her MORE medication. After all that we were still trying to save her from herself. So explain to me why I essentially got a ten minute tongue lashing over the phone, completely talked down to and patronized over her stance on behavioral euthanasia when I sent my dog there to get help. Imagine dealing with all that, losing years of sleep and trying everything anyone else would've told us to do and still trying to help her just to be talked to like I'm a monster and my boyfriend like he's stupid. (Gave him a lecture over a single sausage she got as a special treat because she looked so defeated- like , we have bigger problems?? Like the dry wall she keeps eating??) After trying and failing multiple times to let her know what alls happening and what we actually are trying to do, somewhere in her ranting she realized we were not there to put her down (after 15 minutes of putting ME down) and the most she could utter out was "uh sorry, i could recommend a trainer I know it's expensive though" I had never dealt with a more unprofessional vet, with a complete lack of compassion or understanding. She got herself so worked up she couldnt even answer my questions about the dosing or medications. Ya know, the thing we were there for? Well we ultimately got some medications, she never actually looked in my dogs mouth like i asked her to and she sent them on their way without treating any of her injuries. That same 'healthy' dog almost killed herself later that day while my boyfriend was picking up her meds. Tried to break out of the crate again and got herself hung by her collar. Lacerated her neck , bruised it deeply, and by the looks of it knew she almost died. Complete. Neurotic. Mess. She is barely a dog now and yet your vet treated me like a monster for even mentioning ending her suffering. Like I dont love my dog. I don't recommend anyone go here for anything more then vaccines. they were more worried about her rabies shot then the punture wound between her eyes.

Experiencia fantástica: Best vet clinic I have ever been too. Dr.Tebbe is amazing,compassionate and knowledgeable. The front staff are very caring and friendly. Jade,Ann and Melinda always greet me by name when I walk in and greet whichever cat I have with me.

Experiencia positiva: The doctor that we met with was awesome. I liked her demeanor and the way she interacted with us. She had to take us because the other doctor was in a conference meeting. She did not act as if we were a disturbance to her. I appreciated that.

They were kind, knowledgeable and supportive in offering us the best care that we could afford this day. We will be back tomorrow to take our two cats. The transparency in cost is truly appreciated. Experiencia fantástica: We, (Rambo, Chapo and I) absolutely love Dr. Ashley! She’s not only very knowledgeable, but she’s honest and knows how to interact with my bully pit, Chapo. He’s very protective of us and will become aggressive when staff approaches us. Dr. Ashley and a select few techs knows how to handle Chapo when we take him to the vet. Our boxer, Rambo has a lot of issues with food allergies in addition to having pancreatitis. He requires to be on a low fat prescription diet. His case is complicated because he also has allergies to several types of foods. Dr. Ashley took time to create a special diet for Rambo and has been very patient with us when trying to figure out what he can and cannot eat. This in itself, tells us a lot about her knowledge, experience especially with anxious and afraid dogs, in addition she has love for all animals!

Experiencia fantástica: My dog suffered a serious injury to her foot and the staff got us in quickly and continued to care for my dog with many follow up appointments. The cost was half of what I was quoted at MedVet. They all went above and beyond. Dr. Tebbe is a wonderful veterinarian.

Experiencia fantástica: They've been so wonderful and caring for my dog Lily. They've treated her with so much care one she was excited to see anyone. I know the surgery wasn't an easy one and they're taking her in for observation today, as she bled yesterday, but they've treated us and her with respect and love and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I'm one of those people who play attention to the vets invest assistance when it comes to the animals. And they are great with them especially Miss Barbara ♥️ she comforts me every time I come in!! Cause she know how serious I am about my fur babies!! I remember when I had to put one of my dogs down around covid time,, and they let me come in the back and let me sit there a couple hours after me sending my baby to the rainbow bridge ♥️ I will never forget Miss Barbara and there great staff for that and that's why I continue to go to North main animal clinic the best in Dayton

Experiencia negativa: I had been debating (for a while) whether or not I wanted to make this review as it is impossible to have it fixed. We usually go to the Brookville location but they were booked out so we made a rainbow bridge appointment at this location. The tech who was assisting held our dog WAY too tight as the vet was inserting his IV (we could hear him grunting trying to breath) which was unnecessary as he was not trying to wiggle away. I could tell she was new and didn’t say anything, which I regret. The real reason for the low review is the quality of the paw print - I appreciate that one was done, but it is much lower quality that what we have received from other clinics.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my dog in a couple times in a week. The first time he was whimpering in pain. I called and the recepiontionist Anne was able to get us in within a couple hours. The second time he was pooping blood (side effect of the pain meds) and Dr. Tebbe was amazing with him. Would recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: I will start off by saying i usually take both my dogs to Clayton hospital and love the staff there! However one of my furry babies got sick over the weekend and they weren't available, so I took riggin( my dog) to Dayton Animal Hospital on North main. I will say those people are very caring, kind, and helpful. Dr. Crotty and ger staff handled riggin so well. He came in with a high temp, she was able to narrow the problem, got him on meds to make him better. I want to say Thank You so much for the care and kindness you showed us both when we came in.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my dog in to be checked for his allergy issues. Lexi was the nurse and she was very helpful with the questions that I had before the doctor came in. She was very gentle with Max and I really appreciate that. I also would like to say that Dr. Nicole Tebbe was awesome. She took the time to sit down and talk to me step-by-step to help me to understand my dogs allergy issues, which has really put my mind at ease because I didn’t fully understand. It seems like everything I was trying to do to help him wasn’t working, but that was because I didn’t fully understand what he was going through so again I thank them both for their help and patient. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve taken both of my dogs here who have now passed away and I have to say they are the most understanding and compassionate people I’ve dealt with. They don’t make you feel rushed or less than if money is tight, they completely understand and find the right treatment for your situation. When both of my dogs passed away I received a sympathy letter in the mail along with their paw print. When my beloved pitbull passed in May they gave me a clay paw print along with his ashes. It’s the little things that matter here, you will always feel loved by the staff. I always recommend this place to anyone I know. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to go here on the 16th of Novemeber to have my pet Rat put to sleep. The staff was very polite and they were very gentle with him. They explained my options of cremation and talked to me through the prices clearly. They showed compassion and care in a really difficult moment, and I really, truly appreciate that.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve went back and forth on writing a review. First I will say that the two vets we’ve seen here have been great. And I spoke to the office manager today who was very kind. But I will say, there is a receptionist named Melinda and she’s always very short and rude. The other receptionist’s have been very nice. We had adopted a cat and brought him in because he was urinating on things. My goal was to get him medically cleared to rule out a medical complication to cause it. No testing was done on him at the appointment. 2 months later we noticed a lot of blood in his litter box. When I called to schedule an appointment I was told it would be a week and a half to get him in. I had to raise concern to get the receptionist to listen. She said she was going to talk to the doctor and call me back. I told her while she did that I was be looking for a new vet because they clearly did not care. All she said was “ok”. They called me back and got him in 2 days later. Our poor cat had a large bladder stone that needed to be surgically removed very soon. The doctor and staff were great during that process. Then there was another issue where we brought our 2 dogs in at the same time. That was a mistake, do not do it. Our one dog had a large cancerous mass and they put most of the focus on him. And the other dog we brought in didn’t get the same care and attention after the appointment. She needed a dental cleaning and wart removal. We never got the quote. I had to call numerous times to get an answer on the quote and my concerns about the procedure. Melinda was incredibly rude during this particular call. She told me that I had called yesterday insinuating that I didn’t give it enough time. But what she failed to realize was that I had also called the day before that as well. At one point she told me I needed to bring my female dog back in for another exam, which I was okay with. However, as they completely dropped the ball I wasn’t willing to pay a full vet visit again. And she didn’t seem to care one single bit. Our male dog had to be put to sleep 2 weeks ago, they got us in quick since it ended up being an urgent matter and were fantastic during the process. So now I’m considering switching vets, not because of the doctors but because of the office staff and the balls that have been dropped with multiple of our pets.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this vet clinic. Both N. Main & Clayton locations have excellent staff that are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about any issue you may have with a furbaby. I'd 100% recommend them, and 1000% would recommend Dr. Beth!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Crotty and the staff went above and beyond in providing excellent care to our sweet cat who required emergency care. Not only did they get her in quickly, but they kept us updated regularly on her condition, let us visit her while she was boarded, and they were extremely gentle in their handling of her (and our emotional family) during a very delicate time. The cost of treatment was also very reasonable. It is clear that they care about animals and I would recommend them to anyone for their pets.

Experiencia fantástica: AUGUST 2024 UPDATE: I was very happy to establish the care for my dog at North Main Animal Clinic the staff are fantastic always welcoming and very friendly. I never feel rushed with them and am never pushed into additional tests or products. Neo has never acted nervous or upset about going to their office and I credit the entire staff at North Main Animal Clinic for that! Dr. Ashley handled Neo very well she is awesome. I can't recommend this clinic highly enough. I am so glad we have them as part of our care team for Neo......Older revue: Neo recently got his annual exam & shots at the North Main Animal Clinic. I was really embarrassed by Neo's behavior as we were chatting with the vet. I'm not sure why he suddenly started barking at the vet and technician as they had already examined Neo and had given him all his yearly shots and clipped his nails without any problems. Neo has always loved going to the vet in the past likes all that attention. They handled it graciously. The North Main Animal Clinic is the best, the staff is friendly and they truly care about the well-being of Neo!

Experiencia fantástica: The price wasn't to bad for a visit, I paid $60 deposit and they will book your appointment day and time. If for some reason you must cancel You'll get that money back. My dog needed antibiotics for his foot infection and that was only $22 at check out and the deposit covers the vet visit. The wait time from my apt was about 15 min or so they was a little busy. Everyone there was friendly and caring. The vet next to my house was 15 minutes from my house they didn't have available apt till a few weeks out and they seem a little more pricy on there medications. Rabies shots are only $22 at this location

Their dedication to care and accommodation is priority when it comes to the welfare and peace of mind of animals and their owners. The team cares for all of our dogs/cats/rabbits and makes endless efforts to fit them in… even when they are completely booked. The receptionist team is fantastic and makes an exceptional effort to be welcoming as well as expedient in managing both phone concerns as well as in lobby appointments/emergencies. Please understand that if you are a pet owner and this team is helping you, be courteous of their efforts. It is a small team managing a large body of patients and from my experience, has never turned anyone away i.e. new patients. If the atmosphere of a smaller office offends you and you can hear the conversations of the staff please keep in mind a few things before you pass judgement… 1.) they are humans that are working in a shared space of lengthy hours to service you and your pets needs 2.) there are more pet owners than there are veterinarians… it’s rare to find a good one… don’t ruin it due to self entitlement 3.) be accountable for your pet and don’t have the expectation that the vet is there to repair your negligence… be a better owner. 5 stars to the team and my families thanks and gratitude!

Previously I had used an "in-store weenend traveling Veteranarian for my dog, but my first and only experience doi ng so was not good. I absolutely loved North Main Animal Clinic, and the Vet who saw my dog was outstanding! The staff were outstanding. This will be the Vet I use all the time for my dog going forward, I highly recommend this Clinic for the care of your animal.

North Main tried to charge me $643 to exam my pet for Heart Murmur. North Main told me to bring my dog and leave him in a cage for 4 hours, I asked the rude unsympathetic why $643 she showed a list of exams that had nothing to do with a Heart Murmur, as she shoved a signature page in my face, I said wait your testing if he cab stand anesthesia, I asked why she said JUST IN CASE HE GETS TEETH CLEANING, BUT IVE NEVER HAD YOU CLEAN HIS TEETH, She rudely said do you wanna leave him or not, I said he's shaken with a heart condition, I said do we have something to calm, she rolled her eyes and stated we'll that's another 2 hours to kick in, again reaching for dog, do you wanna leave him or not, I said Not. I went right over to Northridge Animal Clinic, on Dixie, next to Goodwill. Paid $213, my dog was in and out. Northridge showed me Xrays described problem and was shocked at Anesthesia Exam request and proceed to show my dogs teeth that were perfect and stated they would never put a Heart Murmur dog under Anesthesia. I told her how they lied told me the cost was 180 and gave me a week of pills, because the knew they were going to stick it to me. I even called before I wrote this review , asking was this just isolated, I was told I'll get a call back and never did. Experiencia fantástica: I took my dog for the first time and I really love this place! They asked if I’d like an estimate of pricing for my visit, which I really appreciated. Vet was down on the floor with my dog, trying to make her feel relaxed because she has anxiety. All of the staff was really friendly. I also was able to have my dog seen within days of scheduling.

Experiencia negativa: I patiently waited to hear from upper management so maybe this will get their attention. First off I hate doing reviews, but if this helps another pet owner then it has served its purpose. I brought my dog in for an ear hematoma, all in all $1000 surgery. I was told I would get a checkup call by 12:00 the day of the surgery, by 1:15 I called their office to check the status of my pup. I was placed on hold, 30minutes, while they went to lunch and never received a call back. I repeatedly called till finally getting an answer at 3:00 "sorry we have to eat lunch like other people" When I picked my dog up at 7:00, I asked the veterinarian why the bandage was slipping off and if it should be redone, she responded "No." By the time I got home the bandage was off, blood soaked through the carpet and leather of my car and onto my hardwood floors staining both. I then had to rush back at 7:30 Friday night to have them redo the bandage. My toddlers saw all of this as well and we're in shambles. I understand that it can be hard to wrap the dog's ears, but even with requesting the bandage to be redone they refused.. My requests to speak to a manager or owner have been repeatedly denied by staff members. I was then told at the checkup that I would have to repay for the bandages, even though Dr. Lippy stated everything was included in the final price of the procedure. The staff has been neglectful, rude, and unclear through every step of this process. On top of that, the gossip that can be heard through the thin walls of this entire place was shameful and disrespectful. I finally lost my cool, requested my dogs records, and will not return.

Experiencia negativa: Let's start with the only good thing, they were able to see my baby as a new patient within 24 hours of me calling for an appt. Everything after is why they get 2 stars, from the start of my visit I felt like the vet herself and her nurse were very cold towards me and my cat and I was visually very upset as my cat had lost a significant amount of weight and wasnt being himself. before performing any test the vet squeezed his body hard and felt his kidneys and proclaimed "oh probably in kidney failure " but we'll do a blood test to make sure.. after 15 mins of me pacing back and fourth holding him waiting for the results, she comes back in and informs me that his blood test came back fine. Id recently gotten a new cat and she had loose stools due to a suspected parasite, I mentioned to the vet about that and asked if maybe that was what was causing him to loose weight and asked if we could run a fecal sample...even though she didn't seem to be on board with that she agreed and gave me.a tube to bring the sample back in. I looked at the estimate for the sample,it was like $290 !!!! Im new to this area but any other time ive neeeded a vet I used Town And Country vet clinic only reason I didn't this time is because the waiting time for an appt was too long. Long story short I've now had 2 fecal tests done at Town and Country(one cost me like $40 and another cost around $100 because they did anal gland expression), the issue was found and treated and I never took my cat or a stool sample back to clayton animal hospital after the first visit with the blood draw. And this is the part that really makes me mad. I've received a outstanding bill nearly every single week for the $290 + fecal test THAT WAS NEVER PERFORMED! I NEVER BROUGHT ANY BACK IN!! And the most recent bill is even charging me interest! ON A TEST THAT YOU NEVER DID. Pretty sure the plastic tube they gave me to put it in didn't cost $290 and if it does they can have it back bc I still have it at home,unused. So in conclusion I do not recommend this vet unless you enjoy being treated with no compassion and billed for services that were never rendered. And potentially paying triple what you would for the same tests at another vet clinic. I will now only use Town and Country vet clinic in Eaton . They are wonderful, compassionate people and they don't over charge you and won't bill you for tests you didn't get. If you see this review Clayton Animal Hospital, please stop sending me bills for the overpriced test you never provided and thanks alot for making an already stressful situation even more stressful..

Which I was very nerves they took so much time with me to calm me down, came back to pick him up he was fine and now he's 13 years old and still being gently cared for, They are such great and caring people.

Experiencia negativa: TLDR: They did horrible stitching that made her wind up at the emergency vet, then blamed me for her injuries. I can't believe what happened here. My cat was perfectly happy and healthy before we got here. The spay was not cheap, but we wanted her to go to a real vet instead of a pop-up clinic, and thought spaying her was a best option. When she got out of surgery, her stitching looked odd, and seemed bloody. Later, we learned that they had used dissolvable stitches, which are very weak and they should not have given them to such a young cat, who would be active. Any vet with any experience with cats should know this. The stitches used would only be appropriate for an elderly cat that hardly moves. She was acting up worse than we had ever seen her after we got her back. It was concerning. As the day went on, it became very obvious that the stitching was very wrong, she kept desperately meowing, and it eventually came undone, and you could see everything inside her, it was nauseating. We had held onto her and watched her the whole time after the vet visit to make sure she didn't scratch or lick it or move much, so there was no chance this was our fault or due to her exercising too much. There was blood on her bed, we could see her organs inside her body, and we rushed her to the emergency vet which was nearly an hour away. I wasnt sure if she'd make it, her stomach was cut open and not put back together properly. Not only did it cost a couple hundred from this clinic, but it also cost around a thousand for the emergency visit, which I could hardly afford, because it couldn't wait until morning. The vet that looked at her agrees that the stitches were very frail and they use much stronger ones. Photo is about 2 hours after I picked her up. After less than 5 hours, all the stitches were broken. This vet did not offer any condolences or reimbursement, and instead blamed us for letting our cat take the collar off or run around, which deffinitly didn't happen. Shame on them! Horrible place, horrible people. Never go here.

Experiencia fantástica: We took our German Shephard there to get a gastro pexy (stomach tack to prevent bloat) and neutering. The vet was very good. There were no problems pre nor post operation, and he made a swift recovery. Plus, the clinic was very accommodating for our pup. Our pup is pretty anxious around new people and other dogs, and the staff was very friendly towards him and got us a room very quickly. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy I found this office. The staff is so wonderful. It’s the only vet I’ve seen where I feel like they love my dogs as much as I do. I’ve mostly seen Dr. Tebbe, she is the absolute best, but I’ve also heard great things about the other doctors. They explain everything & make sure you understand the why/what of your pets health. Bonus that I can schedule appointments & communicate with them via the app or a phone call. I had to take one of my dogs to med-vet for an emergency & north main followed up with me the next day to make sure my dog was okay. It’s very reassuring to know my dogs are in good hands.

North Main animal clinic helped us through the process of cremation, and I want to thank them very much and Dr.Weisberger, especially as she tried everything she could.

Experiencia negativa: We have had one of the worst experiences with this vet, in both cost and clerical error. We we’re shopping around for a vet to x-ray our Samoyed’s hips/elbows to be sent off to OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) to be rated. We called North Main Animal Clinic for a quote, and they quoted us anywhere from “$350-$440”. The quote we were given was a bit cheaper than our regular vet, so we decided to go with them. We paid $60 as a deposit/to cover the examination and we were on our way. Upon arrival, I filled out paperwork to complete the procedure. Two staff members came in to examine my dog; my dog was a bit nervous so I had brought some small snacks to give to him to help with some of the nervousness. I gave some of the treats to one of the techs, to which the other tech responded rather rudely that “He can’t eat anything, what are you doing?” to her tech and to me, indirectly. We weren’t told to fast our dog beforehand and that would have been nice information to have. Also maybe be nicer to each other while you’re manhandling a customers dog? When I was done with paperwork and my dog was taken to the back, I went to the front desk to pay. Front desk staff assured me that I should pay at pick-up, and he’d be done around in an hour-ish. An hour passes and I come back to pick up my dog. And to my surprise, the total came to just short of $800! Subtotal was $766.53, minus the $60 deposit we paid for the “comprehensive exam” that was a total of 5-10 minutes long and actually cost just short of $70. After getting hit with some serious sticker shock; I asked about the cost and that this was a bit off the quote the front desk person simply shrugged it off. I asked for an itemized receipt to see that the “radiograph package” was billed as $548.79, $100-200 dollars higher than the quote! My partner ended up returning to the clinic to speak with a manager about the price discrepancy and the bill dropped from $766.53 to around $550; still higher than the original quote, but within a smidge more reason. We have waited since 12/14/23 to hear back from OFA about the results, and were assured by North Main that they would be taking care of the filing fee that was required. I even filled out paperwork while I was there with credit card information to ensure that the fee was paid. After waiting for a suspicious amount of time, my partner finds that OFA e-mailed him that the filing fee was in fact, NOT paid and we wouldn’t be able to get our results until it was paid. We call AGAIN, only to find that the manager is out until “maybe today or tomorrow”. We wait another day, no call. So from this past Tuesday we waited for a call, until we began to get frustrated and my partner called today. Only to be told that, “Oh yeah, our corporate billing department would be taking care of it. Sorry, we can’t give you any updates on the process.” What. Why offer any of these services if the staff is so ill-equipped to handle it? Why offer quotes if they don’t match what you actually charge? Why tell your clients you’ll follow up when you clearly have no intentions of doing so? We will not only be not returning to this clinic, but we will be advising anyone else AGAINST visiting this clinic.

I thought I was going to have to.put down my 14 year old poodle name pepper due to a lipoma obstructing some very important areas. She was able to remove it one piece! Pepper is like a whole new pup now. He was walking really slow before now he has life back in him.

Experiencia fantástica: Our beardie baby got sick unexpectedly after Thanksgiving this year and North Main was able to get us in quickly to have him seen. He had an infection that was spreading rather quickly and they did everything they could to help him. Sadly he did end up passing and it was a great loss for our house hold. This practice was by far the best vet office I have ever been too. It was extremely clean and beautiful on the inside. Their staff were all extremely sweet and professional. We were treated with great care and I even just received the sweetest sympathy card for our sweet boys passing. It meant a lot to receive this. Thank you, for all you guys do to help our animal babies. I will definitely be returning here for any future vet care.
