Experiencia negativa: I can’t believe this clinic, I took my dog there for doctor to evaluate removing a mass on her paw, this was my third visit. She had two blood tests to verify she would survive surgery. Time lapsed after the first test because no one got in touch with me or my daughter to schedule the surgery, they kept saying someone would call and they didn't. It’s been six months since the last test and the doctor said that another test wasn’t needed. To repeat the test would cost them because of their error and lack of communication. I voiced my concerns over recent health issues, symptoms I saw raised questions. I stated this to the doctor who was examining her. The surgeon looked at her mass and gave her back to me. They saw she had lost a lot of weight since August but ignored my concerns. They called to schedule the surgery this time and I didn’t schedule it due to changes in her loss of weight. Since her visit 1/15/26, things went bad, I called left a message, twice on 1/23 and 1/24. Today is 1/26 and they still haven’t responded. My dog passed away on Saturday 24th. I learned from the hospital we took her to that she was diabetic. Why hadn’t Erdman diagnosed her. They would have performed her surgery not having this knowledge because they didn’t want to do another blood test. She’s was having trouble going upstairs and was put on medication six months ago. No follow up! I am done with the lack of communication and unprofessionaliam.

Experiencia fantástica: This hospital is wonderful and so were the people that work there I've been there through the bad times when I had let a friend go and the good times when it's just a checkup the main focus is the care and the professionalism the price is just an add-on I would pay more for these people many have been there a long time you just don't stay at a vet for years and years and years if you don't care about animals I would tell someone to go here friends family and strangers thank you for what you do guys and gals

Experiencia fantástica: Took my Yorkie Barack here for a dental procedure. It went very well. Their prices are great when compared to other animal hospitals. The only downfall is that for routine visits they work on a first come first serve basis therefore, you have to wait. Vet Doctors and staff are courteous and great!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve never encountered a more unprofessional and unpleasant receptionist at a veterinary office. From the moment I called, her tone was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. She acted as if answering basic questions was an inconvenience, offering short, impatient responses and zero compassion — something you’d expect from a place that’s supposed to care for animals and their owners. It was clear she was ill-prepared to assist with even the simplest requests, and her attitude alone is enough to make me take my pet elsewhere. If this is the first impression of the practice, it’s a terrible one. No one seeking care for their pet deserves to be spoken to this way.

Experiencia fantástica: Erdman Animal Hospital was absolutely the best place I was fortunate to find in a critical time where Dr. Lance Keil examined my beloved Zues and immediately took the necessary blood work and the cell test, which revealed the diagnosis of my Zues which was 4th stage cancer. Dr. Keil fees for Zues visit & exam and test was very affordable. Dr. Keil and his Veternarian Tech was so kind and sympathetic when I had to make the decision to let Zues go to Heaven. I would happily recommend Dr. Lance Keil and staff to anyone who loves and cares for their pets. Due to Dr. Lance Keil's fees I was able to finally know the diagnosis of my beloved Zues. I would like to extend a Heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Lance Keil and his staff who helped me through my beloved Zues most difficult time in his life and to stop his unbearable pain and suffering. Experiencia fantástica: I been coming here since I was a Lil girl with my great-grandma & grandmother with their cats & dogs. Then my mom got my first cat when I was 2yrs old. I am now 47 and this Hospital has been nothing but amazing. They are very clean, sweet, really care about animals and are affordable in prices. They will work with you if you are in need of services but really don't hv the funds they will do their best so your fur babies cab get they need❤️ I recommend Erdman Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a good affordable veterinarian to care for your babies. Experiencia negativa: They took a 90 dollar deposit from me for an emergency visit of an orphaned 1 month old neo natal kitten I had found alone 2 weeks before on july 4, 2025. On Monday, July 21, they took me in to tell me the kitten was dead. While I was making the deposit, before going into the exam room, the receptionist, who had been very nice up until this moment, began to talk about something and I stopped her to say that I was tired and had been awake all Sunday night with the sick kitten and i couldn't follow what she was trying to tell me and I couldn't read her mind. I asked her to please just tell me. She asked if I had considered cremation, that is, if nothing can be done... This left a bad taste in my mouth. It seemed to be terrible timing because I hadn't given up hope for a miracle that the kittens life might still be saved. I told her I would not consider that until all other possibilities for saving him were exhausted..and I felt she was jumping the gun, just a bit. But I was way too tired and upset to tell her how I really felt about what she said to me and how inappropriate the timing was. It made me feel like taking my cash deposit and walking out the front door...but I had waited so long to see that doctor, and he was the kittens' last chance at possibly surviving. It's too bad there wasn't an affordable e.r. vet i could have gone to on a Sunday, because money had been no issue, I probably could have saved him, but he had a seizure Sunday and then a blockage that prevented him from disposing any more waste afterwards...so his belly filled up with urine and feces and time was important. Animal control gave me the option when I called them for help, to give him up, but I had to be aware that they would euthanize him..and i only considered giving him up to try to save him. If he was going to die, i wanted him to die against my chest, feeling my heartbeat and warm and safe and comfortable. ** He actually survived the night, and im not a vet. However, in my opinion, he was alive when we arrived at the vets office Monday morning before the doors opened at 8am. They told me no doctor would arrive until 9 or 930. I paid the deposit around 10, but they did not even get me into an exam room until 10:30am. In my opinion, even though I paid the emergency visit "deposit", I was not treated like it was an emergency, and the kitten, who i called Petey, (he was onmy going to be Petey until I came up with a better name) was dead by the time the doctor came into the room. The "exam" consisted of the vet using a stethoscope to listen to Peteys heartbeat and telling me he was no longer with us. He mentioned cremation, and that would cost another 150 or more dollars above the 90 I had already paid.. so I asked if they had a box instead. They offered me a Styrofoam box and a freezer pack to keep him cold as well as some paper towels to wrap his body in and a plastic bag if I wanted to wrap him in for transport. I was walking home. I meeded the fresh air and time for reflection. Given the situation to do over, id do it again...because if I hadn't gone through with seeing the vet, I would have regrets and doubts that maybe my emotions caused me to prevent this kitten from being saved. I had to be sure. But, the receptionists comment at the wrong time was very inappropriate and id think a person in that position dealing with the public and with people's pets and loved ones would have and should have known better. And after I cut her off, she could have backed out and said, nevermind.. but she didn't. It was in poor taste. Besides that, and the fact that the sign on their waiting room wall said that emergency visits were significantly less than the 90 dollars I was charged, it did seem like a nice place. The nurse was nice. A nice young man. The receptionist was busy. After she mopped, cleaned and opened the front doors, she stayed on the phone. They have clients so they're doing something right. But a truly ethical vet might've offered me at least some of my deposit back, since the cat was dead. I didn't ask,he didn't offer. RipPetey

Experiencia negativa: Booked an appt at 1pm. I witnessed 15+ ppl coming in and out. The waiting room was completely full and dirty. I asked Mary the receptionist after 30 mins how long the wait would be and she told me it would be awhile. She gave me no time estimate. I told her that I needed to get back to work and she stated that everyone else was waiting as well and they tell ppl before booking that the wait will be long. No one ever stated that when I booked. She then debated with me in front of the waiting room and stated that this is common practice. I booked an annual appt not an emergency visit and also gave a deposit for the appointment, why would my appt be at whatever time. Mary was rude and impatient. She asked me right away if I wanted a refund. No apology, she didn’t ask the staff in the back for a time estimate. I also didn’t like how she spoke to others in the waiting room. Hopefully the Vets are good but I’m not tolerating that behavior, nor have I experienced this from other Vets. Especially after booking an appt. No estimate is crazy when you book an appt and the rude behavior. As a customer service worker I won’t be back. Thanks for being disrespectful and distasteful Mary (the 8 yr receptionist).

Experiencia fantástica: Constant scratching. The lowest quote that I received for an office visit and then wanting to do excessive testing before treating her was about $800 from taking her to her previous veterinarian. She received a shot which worked and resolved her allergy issues. However the shot ran about $200. Well since my dogs allergies flared up severely I knew she needed to get the shot but no veterinary Office would see her without doing 1 million tests to find out that we already know she has allergies. I was referred to call Erdman animal Hospital being told that they have the lowest prices around and not only that but that they are Wonderful to work with when it comes to treating our fur babies so I took a chance and called! Not only were they able to get her in the same day for an emergency visit, but I left the office with an ear cleanse, an ointment, a shot for her allergies And a steroid all for under $100! The veterinarian was phenomenal with my baby! Also, the assistant that helped to treat my dog was kind and gentle as well! She is already showing improvement! I highly recommend Erdman animal Hospital to take care of your fur babies no more searching and hearing disappointing prices to keep my baby girl healthy and happy!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love Erdman veterinarian office. My cat was in distress with a medical issue and they were able to squeeze me in the same day as urgent care. Yes, the wait is long Yes, they see dozens of pets a day. Please be patient with this veterinarian office. I know the wait times can be a little lengthy, but this veterinarian office is for the community and offers very reasonable pricing for your pets. They were very honest up front, and direct. Excellent at communicating with me all of the fees. They also helped me understand why my pet needed certain things performed. It's a convenient location, various street parking. The office is not very big so I had them. Just give me a call when it was my turn to be seen.

I've never been to a veterinarian that smelled this bad. They really need to do better keeping the place disinfected . Other than that, it's an awesome place to have your pet cared for .

Experiencia negativa: The level of professionalism is very poor at this hospital. My wife recommended Erdman Animal Hospital for our Puppy Shih-Poo. Due to Pet Wellness(The Shih-Poo 1st Animal Clinic) being a bit of a commute from White Marsh, we tried here. Literally,- maybe a year ago could’ve been longer or just by employee notice- you could walk-in during the week to have your pet serviced without a set appointment. However, this first visit with her on June 11th, 2024. I was told after coming in to check availability that they will not take a walk-in and that I had to set an appointment due to their Doctors(Veterinarian) availability. On top of that I was told to pay an initial appointment deposit fee of $48 for her appointment to be set July 11th, 2024, and come July 11th I would have a remainder of $48 to pay after service. She’s in need of an annual check-up. Here comes July 11th and for what was supposed to be a set time for her to be checked on given they had no availability until then, her appointment was not respected. Once my shih-poo and I walked in we seen a bunch of other dogs and their owners there sitting as if they were there as walk-ins and I was told when I got to the counter even though they acknowledged that I had an appointment that in order to compensate due to them being backed up. They would give me a call as soon as the next vet was availability. Unfortunately, I never got that call, let alone a call to reschedule. Moral to the story. Think very hard before you go here to have your pet serviced.

Experiencia negativa: Made a deposit and waited a month for an appointment. Called the day before to ask a question and they are saying they don’t see me on the schedule. I have the emails and confirmation of deposit and no one can answer what happened and what is to be done moving forward. The owner was there when I called twice and couldn’t get to the phone. They apparently have no manger or shift lead available until the day my appointment is suppose to be. I emailed and called and received no response.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly this place as of today used to be my family vet until never have I ever heard you need an appointment to put down a dog who is struggling to breath and can't walk due to old age, wait an hour and a half basically till they were ready to lock the doors to take my angel and no to mention the place smells like dirty old infection like used to be good like 10 years ago they've went downhill extremely,quite sad it's hard to find a proper vet nowadays

Experiencia fantástica: Had to wait 3 hour's and had an appointment. Vet's we're very nice. Had to wait with a irate dog owner who cut his PITBULL loose in the waiting area. The cop's had to be called. It was a day I'll never forget. Nothing against the dog. I own one also.

Experiencia negativa: I called to try to get an appointment for my cat who had apparently hurt his paw and we were into the second day of him limping and obviously being in pain. When I called to get an appointment I wasn't even able to get an appointment for a month away so unfortunately I had to take him to the emergency vet on falls road. When I go up to Erdman Avenue I'm always it's always wonderful service I've never had a problem with the service just unfortunately when you call for an appointment you know it always be able to get an appointment cuz they're so booked and this is sadly

Experiencia positiva: I love Erdman Animal Hospital because I think Dr. Keil and Dr. Woo actually love what they do. Dr. Woo has called me on a Sunday from his home (the number was blocked) to discuss my cat's condition. I took my dog to a vet on Belair Rd and he talked as if I didn't pay $2,000 for a cardiologist, there was nothing he could do. Dr. Keil ran some tests, put my dog on different meds, told me to cut back on his food, and it's like I have a different dog! Yes, the wait can be long. However, you can't have everything. At other vet's I've visited, they can get you back to the exam room as soon as you arrive, but every visit is going to start at $300. When I visit Erdman, I just make sure I have the time to wait and don't make plans for afterwards. My issue is that the front desk people don't answer the phone. I don't understand how you run a business when the receptionists don't answer the phone. I'm sure the owner has received that complaint many times and I'm not sure why this issue hasn't been addressed. They need to have a phone line that's just for appointments. They can pay someone to stay at home and schedule appointments all day long! My other issue - A couple of weeks ago, on a Saturday, I called ahead to refill a prescription. No one answered for 2 hours, which is common. So, I drove there because it's close to my home. I walk in and there are no customers waiting, and no one at the front desk. I yelled, "Hello," many times and got no response, but I could hear people in the back. So, I called the office (while I was standing there). No one came to the front to answer the phone. I could hear a cat meowing. There was a half eaten bagel and a cup of coffee on the counter. Finally, someone ( a woman) comes to the front. I mention the cat constantly meowing, thinking it was a patient, and I felt bad. The receptionist says, "It's the office cat. He's probably hungry. We've been so busy, I haven't had time to feed him." So, I said, "You have time to feed yourself, but not the cat?" She just smiles. Wow.

Experiencia negativa: This place is the worst and most unprofessional clinic I have ever taken my pet to. Last year my dog was scheduled for a surgery to remove a mass and a teeth cleaning. After doing all the lab work and testing, they only did the teeth cleaning and didn’t remove the mass. They said the had to reschedule the mass for another time. That reschedule never happened! Almost a year went by and I ask for an appointment because I was never rescheduled for the mass removal surgery. After having a consultation they scheduled the surgery, by the way they won’t schedule anything without a deposit, on the day of the surgery I got the call that the blood work from my dog was 9 month old and they needed new one, the girl on the phone stated that was optional, after I told her all the waste of time they were putting me through. After a couple of minutes, I got the call from the actual surgeon saying she will not do a surgery without lab work and I will need to reschedule. I wouldn’t had an issue if that was brought up the week before when I scheduled the surgery, that shows how incompetent they are!

Experiencia fantástica: Wow still there after all these years. Back in the 80s I took my beagles there and as another reviewer said "small waiting area" and on my first visit there were two cats and a rabbit. I had a hard time holding Cuz since he was just a pup at the time and those new smells were driving him crazy. I don't know if the same people are still running the place but the service was great then and reasonable prices too. Say hey to any former Mayfield Bar customers who might stop by.

Experiencia fantástica: Visited with my two cats. Dr. Keil and the vet tech were extremely thorough with explaining the options and condition for my cats. Upon leaving the receptionist was patient in explaining my next steps and she even conferred with Dr. Kiel to make sure my next steps as I understood them, were correct. What this facility lacks in aesthetics… it definitely makes up in hospitality and care.

Experiencia negativa: I use to come here all the time and I’m getting so frustrated because no one picks up the phone or gets back to me ! My cat is sick I’ve been trying to get her an appointment for the past two weeks because they don’t do walk ins anymore . It’s becoming so hard to schedule with them or get someone to pick up the phone it’s really ridiculous at this point ! I’ve tried to book my cat an appointment online and it still says pending ! I don’t know what is going on now but the front desk doesn’t do their job at all !

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrible. I went for a euthanasia. They had no parking. They left me in my car for over 2hrs, till I called and reminded them. The bill was close to $100 more than I was quoted, and their treatment of my pet was less than compassionate. They said they were giving her something to calm her, had her in a headlock, and administered the lethal injection instead. Never allowing her to relax or be comforted. She died in fear. These people have zero compassion

He makes it possible for people like me to be able to give my cat the treatment he needs at a fraction of what you pay for big fancy vets who charge a ton of money just to walk in the door. Doc Keil doesn't do any unnecessary tests to run your bill up & he's very experienced & caring. He always treats my baby like he's his & is very comforting when I'm upset & worried. Experiencia negativa: I originally had a five star rating for this place because the vet was attentive. But that has changed to a one star. The stuff here is very unprofessional. Had my dog go in for a routine neuter surgery they told me to come in at five to pick him up. After driving and paying for tolls they informed me that he would not be ready and come back tomorrow when they open at 8 AM. This was not the case, they told me I would have to come back later in the day at 10 AM when the vet tech would get there because he needed to be checked out. So they continue to refuse to give my dog back after I’ve already paid and got discharge instructions from the office people from the previous night. So I had to call the cops. When the cops got here The vet tech wasthey informed me that the animal hospital called the tech in earlier to release my dog. Why wasn’t I informed of this when I asked about my dog. I really had to get the cops to come to this place to release custody of my dog to find out that they had called the tech in early. But they couldn’t inform me of that and I had to call the cops to come out here to resolve this. All I have gotten nothing but misinformation from this vet. Call me at five. Come at eight. BonitoI’ve had to pay about $36 in tolls Plus the gas I’ve wasted to come back two separate occasions. The staff here is so uncaring and very rude. I feel sorry for this Vet because he has to deal with the staff that he has. They are incompetent at best. The vet tech was the most reasonable person I spoke to. She completely understood where I was coming from.

Experiencia negativa: So i dropped my cat off for cremation on Jan 19 i returned on Jan 20 to make payment and say my goodbyes i was told she was placed in the freezer and i wouldn’t be able to see her. I was told by the receptionist the Pet Memorial would pick her up on Tuesday Jan 24th and she’ll be ready for pick up on Thursday Jan 26th. I was having car issues so i didn’t return to Erdman hospital until the Jan 30 i called to see if she was ready to be brought home i was told they couldn’t find her in the system using my last name, i had a balance on my account when i for sure paid in full, i demanded to speak to management and was hung up on, i called back was told Pet Memorial picked her up that day which was Jan 30.. i asked for the contact info because i was confused about why my poor baby wasn’t picked up and was placed in the freezer for 10 days i was told to Google the number after googling and speaking with their staff i find out they never released her body Pet Memorial had NO RECORD of Ginger, so when i made my payment on Jan 20 they never removed the hold from Ginger my poor baby was still at Erdman Ave in the freezer in the back of the building. I was lied to by staff stating she was picked up the receptionist actually went in the back to confirm she was still there. My heart sanked in my chest im already grieving and to have my cat in the freezer forgotten about is so careless and to continue to cause pain and lie is unacceptable!!!! Pet memorial called me back and was able to reroute the driver so she was picked up on Jan 30 her body was picked up at 12 noon she was very apologetic unlike Erdman Hospital who consistently try to shift the blame at the end of the day the staff never took her hold off the body after i made payments isn’t nobody fault but theirs. I’m just ready for her to me brought home this is crazy she was actually my daughter cat poor Ginger R.I.P Ps it wouldn’t let me post with the one star but that’s my rating ONE STAR

Experiencia negativa: The vets themselves are usually pretty good but the front staff is extremely rude, even when asking simple questions. The waiting room is small and even if you make an appointment you end up having to wait quite awhile before being seen. The whole ordeal of coming here is ALWAYS a frustrating experience so at this point I'm gong to start looking for somewhere else to take my pets.

Experiencia negativa: 1/7/23 I guess nothing good can last forever. Had my dog boarded and seen here in December due do GI issues (same that been treated here before with simple solution...metronizadole and probiotic). $214 later I was told he had no issues in the 3 days he was there and the vet saw no issues. Hard to believe but I didn't question. He's home and continues to have the diahrrea, now bloody and to get the same thing I initially requested would cost me $65 more. Despite not getting what I needed initially. I'm absolutely disappointed. Not to mention the staff at the front desk. I guess like most places this is just becoming a money grab. ---- I've used Erdman Animal Hosptal for basic things like rabies shots for my dogs over the years. But (not so) lucky me, this year my 10yr dog needed dental surgery. And after getting a new rambunctious kitten, he needed shots/neutering, as well as a visit for a mysterious wound he inflicted upon himself on the middle of the night. Needless to say, I've seen a lot of Erdman Animal Hospital this year than I'd like. No place is perfect. Here there's always quite a bit of a wait, and the waiting room is nothing fancy (doesn't need to be). But the care is great and the cost is more than reasonable. I'm grateful that they have continued to be available during this pandemic and have given such good care to my furbabies.

She was my first dog as an adult and lived to see me have children. When my pup other got parvo (pups clearly test my love from the beginning lol) they saved him and he’s now 10! This place saves lives at a fraction of the cost!

Experiencia negativa: I've used Erdman since introduced in 1997 for all my pets even when the location wasn't as close. The doctors have always been wonderful and caring. As of late though the admin staff is overworked and some are plain rude over the phone!!!! When calling with questions they rush and do not give out the same information. This last call resulted in holding and the staff seemed to forget. When the call was picked up again she had no idea what I was waiting for. Conflicting information was given and when asking again "trainee" snapped at me. Unfortunately for my new pets I think I will have to take them somewhere else. Dr. Keil thank you for your years of dedication. It truly has been a pleasure having you take care of my fur babies throughout the years. Best wishes to you

Experiencia negativa: I wanted took my dog there years ago and it still bothers me how he was cared for. He was hospitalized for a week because he was very sick. I called everyday to see how he was doing and they lied to me. I was told he was getting better.The one girl told me she just walked him. When I went to pick him up he was drooling and could not stand up. I was appalled. I immediately decided to put him down. That was very traumatic. I will never take any of my pets there or recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: An extra $212 was taken off my card when I went to pay for my dog's visit.. I was told on the phone that it will be returned in 3 to 7 business days.. In person, 7 to 2weeks... When asked to speak with the manager, they say, " Mary is with a client" or " Mary will call u".. Well I don't know where the Hell Mary is, because I still have not heard from Mary to see why no one said anything of a mistake when I paid for my dog's Annual and it's week now..NOT PROFESSIONAL! Will not be back!

Experiencia fantástica: My dog was very sick and his vet could not take him right away during the pandemic so a friend suggested I call Erdman. They told me to bring him in that day and he was seen and started receiving treatment within the hour. The place is really small and doesn't look to be one of the fancier facilities but they took good care of my dog at a reasonable price.

Experiencia fantástica: Best Animal Hospital in the Area. I took both of my dogs there for their annual appointments. So far I have saved on average 2,000 a year compare to other vets for the SAME EXACT SERVICE. Although the waiting area is small the staff is very nice and I can not thank them enough for the great care/ reasonable prices. As long as I stay in MD I do not mind the drive because I know I will not lose and arm or leg for the care of my dogs.

I'm curious where I will take my new dog when I get one.. they've handled 2 of my dogs cremations and they will handle when my dog is ready to cross the rainbow bridge.

Experiencia negativa: Great that there is an animal hospital in the neighborhood. Great pricing for services rendered. Desk staff are great but need organization. Erin is excellent to work with but at times seems overwhelmed. Even with an appt. you wait hours before you are seen. Dr. Woo needs to work on his bedside manner. Dr. Parker is excellent to work with. He is very good at explaining your pet's ailments.

Experiencia negativa: I really wish I could give zero stars. This place has becoms terrible. I have been going to Erdman animal hospital for over 20 years. Back in 2019 I left them because my 2 of pets got Kennel cough from them while they were boarding. They just apologized and provided my pets with medication. So I decide to go back in 2021 give them another chance because my pets been with them since babies. I boarded my pets with them again and they were also due for rabies vaccine. When picking them up from a 4 day vacation rabies vaccine was never given to them. I had to wait 30 minutes for them to give them the vaccine when I was just there to pick them. Once that was over I took my pet home and realized both of them were not their normal self. My oldest dog kept coughing and couldn't bark. Youngest dog kept gagging and drinking alot of water. So I did some research and once again my pets got the Kennel cough while boarding with them. Right now it's a major concern because my oldest dog cant handle being sick and doesn't recovering has fast as my youngest dog. Erdman animal hospital staff is like a evolving door, their always short of staff, and they don't seem to care about your pets like they use too. I know the prices are reasonably, but my pet health is more important. I hate to say this, but I would NOT Recommend anyone to Erdman Animal hospital.

Experiencia positiva: I love the Doctors, the hours, the prices and the care but not the support staff at the front. There was a beautiful young lady who was there but I believe she passed away. The front desk staff do not greet you, do not inform you, do not make eye contact and getting instructions and directions from them is like pulling teeth. The last time I was there, earlier this month, I stood at the window for 15 minutes and with 4 staff members in the reception area ..they just continued wjat they were doing. No "hello", " we will be right with you" "Do you have an appointment?" Nothing. They continued speaking to each other pulling charts going in and out but not a word to me even though I said "Good Morning I'm here for surgery " when I walked it. This is not the first time in the last year I have experienced this. If it were not for Dr. Keil and Dr. Sarah and the fantastic care my pets receive I would never go back.but even that is starting to not be enough.

Experiencia fantástica: Story Time. I was in Baltimore visiting my mom. My furbaby jumped out of my SUV and broke his leg. I took him to Erdman Animal Hospital where he had surgery to repair his leg. I brought my furbaby back to Texas,where I live. A month later I followed up with my vet. My vet proceed to ask where did my baby have his Surgery? I told him where. He said who ever did this surgery, did a dam good job. He said there's no way he could have done this and I would had to see a specialist. Which would have cost $5,000 or more. I didn't pay near that. I took my baby there bc my mom has been going there for 30 years and I'm glad I did. Dr.Parker did my baby's surgery. I can't thank him enough for a job well done. Thank You so much Dr.Parker for taking great care of my BabyBoy, I really appreciate what you have done for my Baby and me. When I'm visiting Baltimore and one of my pets needs a Dr,I'll be calling Dr.Parker.

Will squeeze your pet in for urgent issues. Three stars because they're awful to get on the phone and the wait is still bad even with appointments.

Experiencia negativa: I really wish I could give zero stars. This place is terrible. We waited over AN HOUR AND A HALF jam-packed in the tiny waiting room and finally decided to tell the staff that we were leaving. After an hour, they told people to wait outside. Some people had masks on, others did not. They were so overwhelmed and behind, it was ridiculous. There were people there half an hour before us that were still waiting as well. I do not recommend this place at all. Take your pets elsewhere for better care and professionalism.

Experiencia negativa: Let me start by saying the vets are incredibly kind and competent. I'm actually confused about what they're doing in this place. That, and the fact that their prices are unbeatable is the only reason I subject myself and my dog to the facility. Customer service is abysmal. The front desk attendees dont greet you when you come in or direct you to sign in. They dont answer phone calls or emails, so you often have to come in just to get a simple question addressed. Their scheduling is disorganized -- they will have you come in and wait an hour only to find that either the doctor is not available or they dont have the medication needed to treat your pet. The facility needs a deep cleaning and a fresh can of paint. They do a poor job of adhering to COVID guidelines by having everyone packed into the small waiting room with poor ventilation. Overall, I grin and bear it but if you have the means, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this animal hospital. They are great! The veterinarians are so sweet and caring. They are also pitbull friendly. There prices can't be beat. The only downside is (pre-covid at least) that you have to wait for your pet to be treated. They don't take appointments, but the wait hasn't ever been that long for me.

Experiencia fantástica: I've always liked the staff at Erdman but the wait left a lot to be desired. Now it's so much more efficient as a result of social distancing. You can make an appointment via the PetDesk app and the waiting room is much cleaner and less overcrowded. I was in and out in 30 minutes which has NEVER happened before. Love it.

Experiencia positiva: The doctors here are amazing and really care about the animals - our animals have had great care here, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The only drawbacks are that the location isn't great in that it's kind of a small waiting room in a questionable neighborhood, and that sometimes the wait can be rough, although they started doing appointments so this has helped a ton! Overall, you get great care for a reasonable price, you just have to get past some of the rough edges of the location.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Erdman Animal Hospital was beyond exceptional...i was under the impression that my cat was pregnant. All symptoms pointed to her being a mama...it had been several days since she experienced what replicated her water breaking. I had called vets all over maryland considering covid left my husband and i jobless and on unemployment unfortunately. So my option was to find a vet that accepted payment plans. I was denied for care credit and iwas running out of options when i finally came across EAH and every single vet i called just judged me for not being able to afford it since her life depended on it. When i called EAH they were immediately willing to help which was a huge relief even though they were almost 3 hours away from us. When i arrived i noticed that the waiting room was full and even though they were very busy with many other pets they took care of my baby in no time...no longer than 20 minutes after i left her there they discovered that she was not pregnant and just had a fecal blockage....cleaned her out and had her sleeping off the medicine and was ready for me to pick her up the next morning....also the amount i paid was expected to be more but since it wasnt what we thought it was i thankfully had over paid at that point. The nurses were wonderful as well as the doctors and i am extremely grateful for their services...they really understood how important it was for her to get to a vet soon and was the first vet to invite us with open arms regardless of the financial struggle. I would recommend them to everyone...i really felt like no matter the outcome she was in good hands and it really made all the difference. Thanks again Erdman Animal Hospital!
