Falls Road Animal Hospital: Opiniones
Experiencia negativa: I am extremely disappointed in the service and attention I received at the facility. I brought my senior dog in on wed to be seen. They recommended bloodwork and pain meds. Which i i purchased. Two days later her condition had worsened.i have. Called this hospital THREE TIMES today and have received a different narrative/story everytime. Its 9 pm now and I have yet to receive a call back from any doctor there in regards to.my dog after being told that i would receive a call back today. The receptionist, very unprofessional, very short with me and not helpful at all. This is my first and last time going to this hospital.
Erica, this is very concerning for us to hear, and we will discuss it with our team. Our goal is to care for every pet with the utmost professionalism and diligence. Please contact us directly at (410) 825-9100 so we can speak with you personally.
Experiencia negativa: Horrific. There was NO ONE in the waiting room, but 5-6 staff behind the front desk. I come in with my extremely sick dog at noon and ask to be seen, but the woman behind the desk (who never looked up from her phone by the way) said the only doctor was on a break and that I couldn't be seen until 9pm. But there wasn't anyone in there? She said they have scheduled visits. But the sign literally says 24-hour emergency care. It's one thing to be full and busy, it's another to have 6 people waiting around, the only doctor out, NO OTHER PATIENTS, and then deny service for an emergency when you literally say you offer emergency care. Oh, and then to be rude about it. Who works at an animal hospital and has zero compassion? Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.
We're very sorry to hear that. We know these situations are difficult, and you should always be able to count on us for timely, emergency care. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia fantástica: We were so scared for our elderly dog who was disoriented and having a hard time moving, and the staff was so friendly, reassuring, and answered all of our questions. The facility is nice, clean, and has ample parking. At every step of the way, from calling to get the appointment, check-in, treatment, and follow up care staff answered our questions, were patient, told us what to expect both from the treatment and about what the cost would be each step of the way. Our dog is doing much better.
Hey Harper, our team is dedicated to providing the best quality care, in a clean and well-maintained environment, and are glad to see you and your pet got the services needed. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback!
Experiencia fantástica: I had a WONDERFUL experience today with the staff and doctors present! As a young adult figuring out life, as a pet owner, and as a lifelong animal lover. Dr. Hammond was an absolute pleasure and is real-life animal welfare expert. I cannot be anymore grateful, and I won’t go to any other veterinary practice!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us, Bailee! We are thrilled to hear that you felt supported during your visit. Your trust and gratitude mean the world to us, and we look forward to continuing to care for your pets in the future.
Experiencia fantástica: We had a great visit with Falls Road - we're new dog parents and our puppy recently got spayed + had a gastropexy. She wasn't quite acting herself and seemed uncomfortable, so Falls Road encouraged us to come in for a quick check. They didn't pressure us into significant diagnostics (radiographs etc) but provided a lot of reassurance, didn't make us feel stupid for worrying about our baby, and sent us home with the tools we needed to take care of her. As well as solid signs for what we need to keep a closer eye on in case of future issues with her recovery. We were very grateful for the reassurance and quick turnaround care from Falls Road.
Thank you for the wonderful review, Arden! We certainly appreciate your trust. We're here to care for your lovely puppy whenever you need us.
Experiencia fantástica: Very clean facility, technician nurse was very accommodating to my dogs special care . Best veterinary visit so far with my dogs needs
Hi Harold, thanks for the great review! We're here to provide the best quality care and expertise, and we are glad to see you and your dog got the services needed. Our team appreciates you taking the time to leave us your feedback!
Experiencia negativa: I am very upset with my experience at Falls Road Animal Hospital. My puppy was seen at VEG Animal Hospital the night before for a broken bone. VEG treated him, but they do not have surgery available at that location. Since my puppy had previously been seen at Falls Road Animal Hospital when I first got him, and Falls Road does have a surgery department, I made an appointment for today at 10:30 AM to discuss next steps. This morning, I called to confirm the appointment, x-rays, and pricing. The staff member found my puppy in the system, confirmed the appointment, and went over everything with me in detail — including possible types of breaks, surgery pricing, and what to expect. I was told that since I already had an appointment, the fee to be seen would be $101. I agreed and said I would be there at 10:30. While I was getting dressed and getting ready to leave with my injured puppy, I received another call. This time, I was told that because my puppy had a broken bone, they would have to charge me an emergency fee instead. I explained that I had just spoken to someone who already knew exactly what was going on, had gone over pricing with me, and confirmed the appointment fee. I was then told that I had been given the wrong information. What made this even worse was the attitude and tone. I was already in a traumatic, emotional situation trying to get urgent help for my puppy, and the staff member was rude, snappy, and lacked compassion. Instead of showing understanding, the conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional. At that point, I canceled the appointment because I no longer felt comfortable bringing my puppy there. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the poor communication and lack of empathy were unacceptable — especially when someone is calling about an injured pet who may need surgery quickly.
Hello Steph, we understand how distressing it must have been to deal with the situation involving your puppy's injury. It's important to us that every pet owner feels supported and understood, especially during such challenging times. We regret that your experience did not reflect the compassionate care we strive to provide. Please call (410) 825-9100 and ask to speak to our hospital manager, who is available to discuss your concerns further. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our services.
Experiencia fantástica: Very thorough and informative staff. Gave us clear instructions and really cared for our baby Rosé
Hi Janeise, thanks for the positive review! We love hearing about our amazing team. They always strive to provide compassionate and professional service, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with them. Best wishes!
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Woodson is a wonderful veterinarian. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding of the budget concerns and was able to work with me to provide care for my dog. Her love for animals truly shines bright. And because of her compassion and understanding and willingness to allow me to do my part, Bane was able to make a full recovery for the most part. He will have scars but they do not stop him from running around the yard barking, snuggling with his family.
Hi Melissa, thanks for the positive review! We love hearing about our amazing team. They always strive to provide compassionate and professional service, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with them. Best wishes!
Experiencia fantástica: The team at Falls Rd has helped us on more than on emergency with our furry friend. Each time, they have helped our dog with emergency surgery for a nail injury and internal blockage. Our furry friend would not be around had it not been for this team’s diligence and competence. We thank you for everything that you have helped us with and for saving our buddy.
Hello Andrew,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are so pleased to hear that our team was able to assist your furry friend during those critical times. Your kind words about our diligence and competence mean a lot to us. We are grateful for the trust you have placed in us to care for your buddy. Please give your dog a gentle pat from all of us at Falls Road Animal Hospital.
Experiencia fantástica: We had to come for what I thought was an emergency for our frenchie. Wait time was minimal! Pricing is fair and from the front desk staff, to the techs, to the vets, everyone was so caring. Outstanding work. Dr. Bloom is amazing! She cares, listens, and truly wants what’s best for you and your pet. SUPERSTAR! 10/10 ⭐️ they will call, email, text, whatever to get in contact with you! We truly appreciate everything and we will be back for my pets regular visits! Thank you so so much!
Hi Jess, thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that our team provided the care and attention you and your frenchie needed. It's great to know that our communication efforts and minimal wait times made a positive impact on your visit. We look forward to welcoming you back for your pet's regular visits. Your kind words mean a lot to us!
Experiencia negativa: my animal was sent home with injuries my primary vet said may get infected if not treated. these were not listed on the notes by the doctor for my animals stay. staff were very dismissive and rude when asked questions about follow up care. communication was bad and i would not recommend anyone put their animal through this system.
Hello Sam,
We understand your concerns about the care your pet received and the communication issues you experienced. It's important to us that every pet receives the best possible care and that their owners feel supported and informed. We would like to discuss your experience further to address your concerns. Please call (410) 825-9100 and ask to speak to our hospital manager. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Experiencia fantástica: We cannot thank the staff and surgeon that did the tech on our sweet charli girl. We are already seeing improvement in her head tilt and she is starting to be herself again. The cone is something she is not a fan of and that has been a challenge. DOT was amazing in communicating during this whole process. Thanks. The FREELANDS
Hi Lori, we're happy to hear Charli is on her way to recovery. We will share this wonderful feedback with our team. We know these situations are tough but we are here to provide the absolute best care to your pets. Thank you so much for this review.
Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, my sweet boy, Brody, passed away this morning. Falls Road, you guys was his primary care provider and didn’t give him the attention he needed, and he needed you guys the most. Around 4a.m. on January 19, Brody was not breathing correctly, shaking, and he threw up blood. Obviously, that is an emergency. Instead of calling the hospital, I rushed over to the hospital, while signing myself up for the waiting list just so that I didn’t have to hear anyone’s mouth. There was no one on the waiting list. When I got there, my friend went inside and he said there was a woman at the front desk who was pointing to direct him to ring the button. He said he spoke to a gentleman and told him “Hey, my cat isn’t breathing. It is an emergency.” The guy responds saying “Sorry to hear that, but we’re at max capacity.” And he suggested that we went to VEG Pikesville. Max capacity…with an empty parking lot…?! At 4:30a.m….?! Are you 24/7 or….?! That was very dismissive and not right. Whether you saw him with a pet or not, we should not have been turned away. If someone says hey my pet isn’t breathing and it’s an emergency, you don’t turn them down you get them the care they need. Let alone you’re 24/7 emergency no? Then change your hours! Then I received a call around 6:51a.m. from Jacie asking if I could still bring Brody in, I informed her that he passed away and you guys were at max capacity. She responded with sorry to hear that I’ll remove you from the waiting list. You know I’m not even angry, disappointed but not angry. Obviously , that was a sign from God to not let his body rest inside such a negative place. He redirected me to a place where he would be handled with care. Lesson learned.
Dear Maya,
We are deeply saddened to hear about Brody’s passing, and we sincerely extend our condolences to you and your family. Losing a beloved pet is devastating, and we understand how difficult this situation must have been.
I had the opportunity to speak with your partner about the visit, and I want to personally acknowledge that the way your emergency was handled that morning was not acceptable. This situation never should have happened, and it deeply upsets us, as we take our responsibility to care for the pets in our community very seriously.
If you would like, I would be happy to speak with you directly as well to discuss what occurred and answer any questions you may have. While Brody was not ultimately seen that morning, we remain committed to learning from this event to improve our communication and response in critical situations.
We truly regret the circumstances and the pain this caused your family, and we thank you for sharing your experience so we can continue to hold ourselves accountable.
Experiencia negativa: drove my sick animal all the way here to be told they dont take walk ins?? whats the point of an er that doesnt take walk ins?? this needs to be clearly posted as it could easily cost an animal their life hence why its called EMERGENCY room
We're very sorry to hear that. We know these situations are difficult, and you should always be able to count on us for timely, emergency care. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia negativa: I arrived with my dog who was in a really bad state around 7am earlier this week and despite saying they are a 24/7 animal hospital, they informed me they had just done a shift change and nobody was there who could see him. I had checked the wait list on the drive there to ensure we could get the quick care he needed and it stated nobody was on the wait list, so we rushed there. I’m not sure a scenario where there would be no physician present at a 24/7 ER. Thankfully they directed us to VEG Pikesville where he was ultimately hospitalized for two days and received incredible around the clock care with doctors always present. The woman at the front desk sympathetic and I’m grateful she suggested VEG.
Hello Courtney,
We understand how distressing it must have been to arrive with your dog in need of urgent care and not receive the immediate attention you expected. Your feedback is important to us, and we would like to discuss your experience further. Please call (410) 825-9100 and ask to speak to our hospital manager. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope your dog is recovering well.
Experiencia negativa: I’ve been bringing my dog to this hospital since he was a puppy—he’s 11 now. For years, we loved this practice for its convenience, 24-hour care, and excellent medical treatment. When my dog was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Bloom performed a lifesaving surgery, and her care has always been exceptional. She deserves five stars on her own. Unfortunately, our last three visits over the past year and a half have been deeply upsetting and unacceptable. During an emergency visit after my dog was attacked by an off-leash dog—leaving him injured, including a wound near his eye—a vet tech treated him as if he were vicious. She demanded a muzzle, refused to touch him, and showed open hostility. My dog was in pain and understandably reactive, but the lack of compassion was shocking and traumatic. The doctor who eventually came in was kind, but the damage was done. At our next visit for routine shots, the same pattern repeated. Before even approaching my dog, the tech insisted on a muzzle and treated him as dangerous, despite him having no history of aggression toward people and years of uneventful visits. The situation escalated so badly that my dog had to be sedated—something we had never needed before—adding unnecessary stress and cost. Yesterday’s visit was the final straw. After being incorrectly told we needed to pay a “new client” fee despite ten years with this practice, I had to argue just to get anxiety medication prescribed proactively for his visit. Even after properly medicating my dog and waiting in the car to avoid overstimulation, we were met with the same fear-based, hostile treatment. The tech refused to come near us, demanded a muzzle without assessment, avoided answering questions, and conducted the visit from a distance. No proper wellness exam was performed. A doctor only spoke with us after I insisted—and even then, did not fully examine my dog (they never even touched him). To make matters worse, my dog’s medical records have basic inaccuracies, including an incorrect birthdate and missing microchip information. I am heartbroken by the drastic shift in this practice. What was once a compassionate, animal-centered hospital now feels cold, dismissive, and driven by fear, particularly toward certain breeds. After years of loyalty and tens of thousands of dollars spent here, the lack of care, professionalism, and basic kindness is staggering. This was our last visit. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.
Hi Kelly, we truly value the years that you have spent as a part of our family. We agree that you should always expect the best care for your pets. Cost is certainly a major consideration and we want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to billing. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100. We would love to speak with you personally.
Experiencia fantástica: I had an emergency visit for my pet. I was able to get in within the hour and they saw us almost immediately. The staff was patient and knowledgeable. For an "emergency" vet, they are very reasonably priced. I think my regular vet has a more expensive office visit. My pet did not have a life threatening issue and I think the issue will be dealt with through the prescriptions they sent us home with. I was stressed and the staff explained everything and answered my questions thoroughly. I hope I never need to see them again, but if I do need an emergency vet, I'll go to them first.
Hi B, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We know emergency situations can be tough but we're always here to provide the best quality care and excellent service for you and your pet. Thanks for the review!
Experiencia fantástica: We are so thankful for Dr. Herko and the wonderful staff at Falls Road. We have parrots, and they have been so helpful and kind with our feathered babies. When our Senegal parrot Max was self- mutilating from anxiety issues, he was admitted to the hospital. They were so accommodating when we came to visit him every day, and they still love to see him when we bring him in for checkups. We are thankful for every day with Max, and Falls Road has been critical for bringing him this far and improving his quality of life. Thank you!!
Thank you, Shannon! We pride ourselves on our clinic's high standard of care and expertise, and we're glad that you can count on us to take great care of you and your parrots. Our team appreciates hearing from you.
Experiencia fantástica: My dog had TPLO surgery at FRAH. Dorothy, the surgery coordinator, is clearly a dedicated and knowledgeable professional who is a huge asset to the organization. She answered my many questions ahead of time and the surgery itself was straightforward and the surgeon, Dr Haverman kindly called me right after the surgery to tell me how it went and what to expect next. Every person I interacted with from check-in to those directly caring for Luck, to those discharging him.... couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that our team was able to provide you with the support and care you needed for Luck's surgery. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we're grateful for the opportunity to care for Luck. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.
Experiencia fantástica: I brought in a stray kitten I’ve been caring for, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the compassion and care we received at Falls Road Animal Hospital. They were offering a $25 wellness visit, which was incredibly helpful for someone trying to do the right thing on a limited budget. From the moment I walked in, both the nurse and the doctor made me feel completely supported. They were patient, informative, and treated Fuzzy (the kitten) like he mattered. They didn’t judge me for not knowing everything or being overwhelmed—they just genuinely wanted to help. They were able to get Fuzzy up to date on his shots, check for feline herpes, and administer deworming meds. But more than that, they showed a level of kindness that made a stressful situation feel manageable. Their empathy and professionalism truly stood out. I’m thankful to have found a place like this and would absolutely recommend Falls Road to anyone needing honest, compassionate care for their pets—especially if you’re in a tough spot and just trying to help an animal in need. Ps. Fuzzy is looking for an amazing home for Christmas❤️
Hi Marie, we appreciate all your kind words! We're here to provide the best quality care and expertise, and are glad to hear you and Fuzzy got the services needed. We're always here to work with you and find the best options that fit your needs. Thanks for taking the time to leave us your feedback!
Experiencia negativa: If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had an appointment for 12 PM and did not get seen until 12:45 PM and then it took another 30 minutes just to check out and pay. Also the advertisement for the $25 promo is false advertising. You can only get that promotion if your pet is totally healthy, which how would you know your pet is totally healthy until you have the appointment? So don’t go in there unless you’re sure you’re not gonna be walking out with 100+ dollar vet bill. The Front Desk staff seemed unwelcoming. I will never be coming back to this vet.
Emily, we know how important it is for the appointment process to run smoothly, and this certainly does not correspond to the high standard of service you should always expect from us. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience here. I called in the middle of the night and they answered right away, didn’t make me feel stupid for my maybe non emergency issue, and gave me all the info I needed upfront. The vet tech was really nice and helpful. They saw my dog quickly and kept me updated through out the visit, giving me options and total transparency. The vet was really nice but also matter of fact which is exactly what I want in a doctor. They sent us home with medicine and clear instructions. My dog is getting better. Thinking about switching to them from my current vet. Very happy overall! Thanks Falls Rd Animal Hospital!!
Hi Caitlin, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We know emergency situations can be tough but we're always here to provide the best quality care and excellent service for you and your dog. Thanks for the review!
Experiencia negativa: This place is overpriced and the staff is rude . I called to ask a question about adding a new pet and the receptionists was annoyed with me calling . She didn’t calm until i asked her if i was bothering her ! I took my dog back for a 2 week recheck and they charged me for a full office visit ! They also wanted to charge me for extra testing which was not needed because my dog was no longer experiencing symptoms! They have a coupon posted for $25 for a new pet exam ! i was told it wouldn’t apply to me because I was already a client ! My puppy is new so why not ? And why not offer a multi pet discount. I will not be returning to this place . It’s clear they are only concerned about the money they can bring in and not the pets.

Experiencia fantástica: i LOVE this place! i have taken my cat for regular checkups, as well as an emergency visit, and the staff took great care of my little guy! they were also so welcoming to me as well. every staff member i’ve met is not only kind to me as a pet owner, but man do they advocate for our pets and love these animals! i really recommend this place for new and veteran pet owners, they are wonderful!!!

Experiencia negativa: My rabbit looked horrible it was about four or five in the morning I'm calling around and I called this place because I needed an exotic vet technician for my rabbit and they literally told me no he's about to get off so he can't look at your rabbit even though you said your rabbit that you've had for 7 years looks like it's about to die
Hello Nicholas, we understand how distressing it must have been to see your rabbit in such a condition and not receive the help you were seeking. Your concerns about the availability of care for your pet are important to us. We encourage you to call (410) 825-9100 and ask to speak to our hospital manager, who would like to discuss your experience further. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Experiencia fantástica: They try all they could to try save my mango and was very understanding and helpful with grieving process.
We're very sorry for your loss, Amanda. We know how hard it was to say goodbye to Mango, and we're glad that our team provided some comfort during the difficult experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Woodson and the staff were very compassionate and caring of my boy in his final hours. I miss him so much already but they were caring and gave me my time with my boy. Thank you for the little time Jax had with you all. You guys made my boys last moments peaceful.
We're very sorry for your loss, Melanie. We know how hard it was to say goodbye to Jax, and we're glad that our team provided some comfort during the difficult experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this place zero stars, I would. When we first brought our dog in for an emergency visit, they almost forgot to give us his discharge papers — we only got them because we spoke up before leaving. Dr. Hayward told us three different possibilities for what it could be but never gave him an actual diagnosis. She gave him eye drops because he had discharge in his eyes. After about a week or two of using the drops, we called back because even though his eyes looked a little better, there was still discharge, the area around his face felt hard, under his eyes looked horrible, and his face smelled like an infection. We called at 2 p.m. and didn’t get a call back until almost 9 p.m., and that was only after calling several times. When we came for a follow-up, another doctor said his condition had gotten worse but kept cutting my mom and me off while we were talking. She also kept trying to speak for Dr. Hayward and stating it’s not the hospital fault your dog going through this instead of focusing on helping our dog. When my mom calmly asked if all this should have been mentioned during our first visit, the doctor got defensive, rude, and even tried to close the door on us. Our dog wasn’t treated at all, even after the doctor said he had pus coming from his mouth and ear. We left feeling disrespected, ignored, and heartbroken. I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone who truly cares about their pets to bring them here.
We're very sorry to hear that, Riah. We know these situations are difficult, and you should always be able to count on us for timely, emergency care. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to Falls Road Animal Hospital twice now for my dog Charlie. Both times the service has been exceptional. The staff (front desk, vet tech, & doctors) have been polite, extremely educated, and have made myself and my dog comfortable and at ease. My dog Charlie passed away after 16 wonderful years & we have been to many vets all over Maryland for the past few years and I am being completely honest when I say this animal hospital has by far been the absolute best. From customer service to overall care and attention to the animals…they have been incredible & I cannot thank the staff enough. Last night was the hardest decision I have ever had to make and they were over the top incredible in terms of educating me on the options and caring for my dog. You can tell they truly love animals and giving them the care they deserve. Thank you again to all the staff. I encourage everyone to consider this hospital for all of your animals care needs — you will not be disappointed. With respect, Jacob & Kylee
We're very sorry for your loss, Kylee. We know how hard it was to say goodbye to Charlie, and we're glad that our team provided some comfort during the difficult experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
Experiencia negativa: Names of doctors who saw my cat are not relevant, desk people trained to be polite. But a lot of money you spend here will not make you and your pet happy. This hospital 24/7 doesn’t have doctors from 5 to 9 PM, at list I’ve been told so. We desperately needed to switch antibiotic and have anti-nausea medication, but there is no way to get it if the first doctor who saw your pet is out of hospital. Sure you can come to the hospital and be charged again for hundreds of dollars. Antibiotic was changed after 3 emails to 4 doctors and 2 phone calls. 2 days past doctor called me and helped with antibiotic, but anti-nausea medication has not been prescribed for five days even after I visited hospital myself. Have to admit hospital responded to my emails promptly with “doctor is out of office” and “Thank you for your patient”. Outrageous! Right? Pets owners! If you want a real help I highly recommend to find ANOTHER HOSPITAL!

Experiencia negativa: I called this afternoon and the receptionist told me they couldn't see my rabbit and said to call the emergency vet clinic. I thought she was helping me find one and then I said, do you know their number and she says "ugh just google it" Here I am, on Google, as she requested.
Hi Rebecca, we understand how concerning it must have been when you were seeking help for your rabbit and felt unsupported. Experiencia negativa: I am flabbergasted at how awful this place is. We called all over due to our bunny being in obvious pain & distress (unknown reason). So we find Falls Road Animal Hospital, an hour and 15 mins from our home. Not a long wait at first, we gave the information needed & waited for a Dr. She stated she examined her and there was an issue with her teeth and they needed shaved. She said she was working up an “estimate” - and she’d be back so we can discuss care. Obviously a bunny in GI stasis is emergent and should be treated immediately. Well, not here , a young man vet tech comes back and hands me an estimate with one Column at almost 1000$ and the other almost 600$. Bunny still not treated and been there from 940-12pm, didn’t leave till after 1am, I told him I’m not paying that kind of money and he said she need to be hospitalized (the Dr already said she didn’t need to be ). He leaves returns after more time wasting with another estimate for 157 or 1000 again. I say fine the list that is $157 is fine , please tell the dr to start treating her. We get our coco at around 1245am go to front with someone other man who didn’t know much. Coco still looks lethargic , teeth still grinding. They gave her fluids and anti nausea meds, no pain killers she needed that we adamantly agreed to, no critical care that we also agreed to. They were essentially sending us home with nothing and 175 fee just to walk in. So 175, 157, and then pain meds at 76 , we left with no discharge info, no write up of what was wrong just all their “estimates” I will fight these charges Her regular vet examined her this am first thing. She has no dental issues at all! Shocker ! Do not bring your bunny here
Hi Jenn, our goal is to provide the best possible care for every pet and leave our clients at ease. Your review is very concerning to hear and we will discuss it with our team. Please contact us directly at (410) 825-9100 so we can speak with you personally.
Experiencia fantástica: I rescued a stray cat at work. Took the cat to be seen at 8:30 PM. They confirmed what I thought. She is pregnant. They tested her for FIV and FeLV. She was negative. Prices were very reasonable. They fit me in . Everyone was so cordial and helpful. They really care about the animals! Happy to hear that Kim Hammond sees wellness patients. The new hospital is extremely state of the art. Extremely clean. Someone is always constantly going around and cleaning! Way better than Pet ER in Hunt Valley. I will never go to Pet ER. I had a horrible experience with a diabetic cat years ago. They let her go over 8 hours without a dextrose stick. Highly recommend Falls Road Animal Hospital!!!
Hi Elyse, we appreciate all your kind words! We're here to provide the best quality care and expertise, and are glad to hear you and your pet got the services needed. We're always here to work with you and find the best options that fit your needs. Thanks for taking the time to leave us your feedback!
Experiencia fantástica: I have nothing but great things to say about Falls Road Animal Hospital the staff are very friendly and professional they answer your questions with ease and my pet was treated with the best care possible.
Thank you for the wonderful review, Marilyn! You can always count on us for quality veterinary care. We wish you all the best!
Experiencia fantástica: We just visited here to take care of an emergency with my cat. The staff here were all very kind and professional. I called ahead of time to see whether I should come in, and I was informed of wait times, shift changes that might affect how long we would need to wait to be seen, and information about other 24 hour vets in the area. They called while we were on the road to another place and let us know that a spot had become available. We were in and out in about an hour. I'll definitely be bringing my cat here again if any other emergencies happen!
Hi Danielle, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We know emergency situations can be tough but we're always here to provide the best quality care and excellent service for you and your cat. Thanks for the review!
Experiencia negativa: I've been coming here for over 20 years. The caring family environment I appreciated is gone. After one too many encounters over seemingly small and petty administrative matters with no consideration for long term customers I realize it is time to move on.
Hi Nichole, we truly value the years that you have spent as a part of our family. We agree that you should always expect the best care for your pets. Cost is certainly a major consideration and we want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to billing. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100. We would love to speak with you personally.
Experiencia positiva: Beautiful new office! Dr. Herco was great with Chase who at times can be very difficult. He made me feel like my pet and myself were important. He made suggestions as to make Chase's visits less stressful. It seemed a little pricey because Chase needed blood work, but Dr. Herco worked with me. Overall, great visit!
Hello Cheryl,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're delighted to hear that you and Chase felt valued during your visit. It's wonderful that the suggestions provided helped make Chase's visit less stressful. We understand that costs can be a concern, and we're glad to know that you felt supported. We look forward to seeing you and Chase again in our new office!
Warm regards,
Falls Road Animal Hospital
Experiencia negativa: I hate this place. I brought my rabbit to the vet this morning he was in critical condition. And when I brought him into the building they denied service for him. And unfortunately he passed away in my arms in the parking lot. They have attitudes at the first desk and said that the doctor was in surgery for hours. No one came to help him. They horrible and I would never recommend them to anyone
Experiencia negativa: Worse ever took my daughter‘s rabbit there today we were on a waiting list all morning long only moved one number in four hours. We drove up there due to the fact that the rabbit condition was getting worse just for them to tell us that there was nobody to examine our rabbit that had shallow breathing, hadn’t eaten or drank all morning long told us the vet and techs were in surgery The lady at the front desk was very nasty and inconsiderate and had no care in the world. She told us to take him to a vet that was 15 minutes up the street and said they could atlease get him stable when I asked them you mean to tell me there isn’t a tech or somebody to look at my rabbit, she told me no very nasty. when we got into the car and not even two minutes down the road my daughter‘s rabbit goes limp and stop breathing on us and dies in my daughters arms. This vet center had no other pets in the waiting area or anything I know there had to be a vet tech or something to atlease come out and look at him to make sure he could have made it to the next vet center. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I wouldn’t worry about the negative reviews here. We had a fantastic experience with Falls Rd Animal Hospital given our circumstances. Our dog (9 yrs, golden doodle) randomly yelped out while running and couldn’t put any weight on her left hind leg. I brought her in the next day since our regular vet couldn’t see her for a few days and recommended we get her seen asap. We stopped in here the next morning since we’re close by and they set us up for an appointment that afternoon. So the service was quick. The doctor we saw was super friendly and really broke down our options along with pros and cons after giving us the diagnosis (torn ACL). Obviously surgery was the most recommended treatment, but at no point did I feel pressured to go that route. We ended up going with surgery because it felt like the best option given our situation. Falls Rd Animal Hospital provided us with plenty of resources and I was able to speak with one of the surgeons ahead of time to ask questions. I also called another place in Cockeysville that does these TPLO surgeries and their quote was much higher than Falls Rd’s. I think they were even surprised when I told them what Falls Rd quoted. We just got her home and surgery was successful. The doctor called with a report once they were done and gave lots of information on what to expect the next few months. They sent us home with a package of medication, an ice pack, the sleeve she has to wear to keep the incision protected. They also have an app with all kinds of help where I can upload photos and ask questions to the doctor. Everyone was super friendly, informative, and communication was great. And even better that the cost was lower than other places!
Hello Anthony, thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us at Falls Road Animal Hospital. We're so glad to hear that our team was able to provide quick and comprehensive care for your golden doodle during such a stressful time. It's great to know that you felt informed and supported throughout the process, and that our pricing was competitive. Experiencia fantástica: I took my cat Nia for her annual exam. The staff and assistant were helpful and nice. Dr. Herko was very informative and gave Nia a great exam!
Hello Alice, thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you found our staff helpful and that Nia received a thorough and informative exam. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we're delighted to have been able to provide the care you and Nia deserve. We look forward to seeing you both at your next visit!
Experiencia negativa: When I called to get information about boarding my dog I spoke to a male that present an indifferent and unreceptive attitude. I had to leave my dog due to an emergency, When I arrived, the receptionist was professional and accommodating. However, I asked to see the place where my dog was going to be boarded. I was deeply saddened to first see the very small outside cage facility and even more disturbed when I saw an area that was approximately 2’ by 4’ long to be used for outdoor potting. I did not see a play area. Then I was shown a confining crate that broke my heart. I left in tears. I returned as soon as possible to rescue my dog. Upon arrival there were two ladies at the desk one was on the phone and the other one was watching the lady on the phone and tapping and entertaining herself with her fingernails. The fingernail tapper looked up at me and said that she would be with me in a minute. I waited. When the phone lady concluded her call, the nail tapper waved a paper at her and asked,”who completed this paperwork,”. They commenced to engage in a conversation about the paper. I said excuse me, I would like to check my dog out. From that point the sarcasm and arrogance begun. I felt that it took longer to check out my dog and because of the disposition of the ladies I feared that could and would retaliate by assaulting my dog. I was anxious when my dog was finally brought out to me. The first time I boarded my dog their was in 2018. It wasn’t until June 2024 when I boarded my dog again did I realize that I was given and had paid for a document under another lady’s name that had my dogs name on it. The document number that I had, referred to an entirely different family with part of my last name. I will never use their services again. I only used the facility because of Dr. Kim Hammond excellent service. It is not the same place now.
Hi Jazada, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Our goal is to always deliver the best possible service and care to our visitors and their pets. Feel free to contact us at (410) 825-9100 at your earliest convenience so that we can speak with you directly and hopefully earn back your trust.
Experiencia positiva: I wasn’t able to be seen here and, in the end, I’m glad. I walked in with a very sick cat. Though the waiting room was empty and there were 2 unoccupied people behind the desk, it took a while to be acknowledged. They told me the only option was to wait 3 hours and then be 9th on a waiting list to see their night doctor or to go somewhere else. I understand that it was a busy day, but I didn’t feel the least bit of interest or concern for my pet or how urgent the situation might be which just didn’t feel good. I do sincerely thank them for referring me to the Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Pikesville which was truly wonderful.
We're very sorry to hear that, Ashindi. We know these situations are difficult, and you should always be able to count on us for timely, emergency care. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia positiva: I was looking for a new veterinarian, at that time they had a promotion of $25.00 first exam. So I figured that was a pretty good deal. The staff first desk staff was very friendly and helpful, they even sent a reminder email prior to the appointment. There wasn’t a long wait from my arrival time to my actual appointment, the technician and vet was thorough and patience , also the facility was very clean, everything was great, an itemized bill was given prior to any services were provided. Unfortunately it was way out of my price range and I was unable to get all the test that my pet needed, being on senior on a fixed income this set me in a panic mode. It is a terrible feeling not being able to give your fur baby the care they deserve and need. This created a financial hardship for me that I am still recovering from, however, I do recommend this clinic if you are able to afford it ,this is definitely not for people with low or fixed incomes. The last vet that I went to was usually around $200 or less, the estimated bill here was triple that amount, this included vaccinations and bloodwork.
Hi Conner, we agree that you should always expect the best care for your pets. Cost is certainly a major consideration and we want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to billing. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100. We would love to speak with you personally.
Experiencia negativa: Their sign and website clearly state that they are an emergency vet. My fiance and I had our dog in the car and he was bleeding really badly from his duclaw and in pain. I went into the front to explain the situation and the front desk girls said “we don’t take emergency patients anymore”. I was like “but your sign and website said that” They did refer me to a much better emergency vet up the road. But don’t say you take emergency patients anymore when your website and signage said otherwise.
Dear Shelby,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're very sorry to hear about your dog's injury and that we were unable to assist you during your time of need. As a 24-hour emergency hospital, we are committed to providing urgent care whenever possible. However, there are rare occasions when we reach our maximum capacity and can no longer safely accept additional emergencies without compromising the care of patients already in our hospital.
In those cases, our team refers clients to trusted nearby facilities to ensure pets receive the urgent attention they need, and we’re glad you were able to get help quickly.
We apologize for the frustration and confusion this caused and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand your experience. Please feel free to call us at your convenience.
Wishing your pup a smooth and speedy recovery,
The Falls Road Animal Hospital Team
Experiencia fantástica: When all the local vets I contacted couldn't find time to help my sweet cat, Buster, who was suffering and bleeding, Falls Rd Animal Hospital was our saving grace. I was told I would be contacted an hour before a time opened up so we could wait in the comfort of our home. It didn't take long for Dr. Bloom to personally call me and help me feel less anxious. When I arrived at the new location, I found it to be lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable with plenty of parking. I was asked to pay a deposit up front which I totally understood. I'm sure they have had people leave without paying when they didn't get the outcome they were hoping for. We were seen within minutes of our arrival by a tech who put all the pertinent info into the computer. Dr. Bloom arrived shortly afterward and it didn't take her long to determine that the source of the bleeding was a mass in his bladder. Because of his age and frail condition, I made the difficult decision to euthanize. I was given time to spend with him and when I was ready the procedure was explained in detail. Buster crossed the rainbow bridge quickly with no pain. A weight was lifted knowing he would suffer no more. With my permission, a prayer was said and I was given more time to spend with my beloved pet. The angels at Falls Rd Animal Hospital made a heartbreaking situation more bearable. From start to finish we were treated with compassion, dignity and respect and there were no unexpected costs incurred. They wholeheartedly get a from us. I wish I could get the same treatment when my time comes. Maybe the laws will change before then. Upon arriving home I sat for a spell remembering my special friend. As I cried I could have sworn I heard a cat purring in my ear and a second orb of light appeared on the little ceramic house that was part of a shrine in memory of my deceased dog Bear. I firmly believe that unconditional love from a pet never goes away. May God bless everyone at the Falls Rd Animal Hospital for their care.
We're very sorry for your loss, Deborah. We know how hard it was to say goodbye to Bear, and we're glad that our team provided some comfort during the difficult experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
Experiencia fantástica: I had to put my cat down back in January and their staff was so kind and compassionate during the whole process. Even at 3 in the morning when we showed up, they were patient, answered all the questions we had, and gave us as much time as we needed before, during, and after the procedure. A few weeks after receiving her ashes back, I got a letter in the mail that all the staff had signed to express their condolences. I truly couldn’t have picked a better emergency vet to take her to and would recommend them to anyone who is in need of one.
Dear Meghan, thank you for sharing your heartfelt experience with us during such a difficult time. We understand how important it is to have support and compassion when saying goodbye to a beloved pet. It means a lot to know that our team was able to provide the care and understanding you needed. Your kind words and recommendation are truly appreciated by everyone here at Falls Road Animal Hospital. Please know that we are here for you whenever you need us.
Experiencia negativa: Falls Road Animal hospital is a great vet the only downfall is pricing ! They are extremely expensive and I chose to no longer take my puppy here just because of that reason. Trust me I get it all vets are expensive but I now go to another vet and they have a wellness plan for me to pay 90$ every month and it cover vaccines, stool sample and more. I feel if falls road offer these plans I would have stayed but spending this much money every vet trip on my puppy is insane. The environment doesn’t give “ let’s help u financially “ it gives “ we are going to charge you for every little thing we can “ . If the front desk team was more like welcoming that would be more helpful for me spending my money there as well. They give off like they have attitudes of not wanting to help sometimes. But the doctors there are amazing I just wish it was more affordable.
Hi Mika, we agree that you should always expect the best care for your pets. Cost is certainly a major consideration and we want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to billing. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100. We would love to speak with you personally.
Experiencia fantástica: I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff. After calling about 15 to 20 vet offices and ER vets in the area, Falls Road Animal Hospital was able to get him in and checked out quickly. I wish I knew the name of the receiptionst who took my original call as I was in hysterics. He was admitted on Friday. I was thoroughly updated on his care several times during his stay. He was finally discharged today, Sunday, after a few days. I am beyond grateful they took him into their care. Thank you so much to Dr. Herko and Dr. Bloom. I don't think Harley would have made it without the care and the compassion of your staff who made sure he was getting the care and love he deserved. He is now home and went straight to his litter box and started eating hay. He is like a new bunny and I will forever be grateful to your office.
Hi Jessica, we're happy to hear Harley is on his way to recovery. We will share this wonderful feedback with our team. We know these situations are tough but we are here to provide the absolute best care to your pets. Thank you so much for this review.
Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy and relieved with the care that Falls Road has given to my pets <3 Dr. Woodson's kindness and expertise helped my tree frog Buttercup get back to health within a week. More recently, I also took my cat Ruby in for an emergency visit. She was quickly scheduled, attentively cared for, and Dr. Hayward communicated everything from diagnosis, cost, and when I should expect calls/information from Falls Road in such a clear and kind way. My cat's care also extended to team of vets, vet techs, and front desk staff who were all incredibly kind, caring, and knowledgeable. Dawn, Ashley, Nancy, Dr. Bloom, Dr. Herko - thank you so much. It makes a big difference to feel welcomed and know that your pet is in good hands. Will be coming back to and recommending Falls Road to anyone in need.
Hi Cat, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We know emergency situations can be tough but we're always here to provide the best quality care and excellent service for you and Ruby. Thanks for the review!
Experiencia fantástica: Last Monday at 2:30 a.m., my wife and I were woken up by our very sick dog, Gunnar. He was extremely lethargic, vomiting, and unable to control his bowels. We knew this was more than just an upset stomach, so we rushed him to Falls Road Animal Hospital. From the moment we arrived, the staff was responsive and compassionate. Within five minutes, Gunnar was taken back for evaluation. Dr. Keisha Hayward was on duty and was absolutely wonderful. She kept us informed and explained that some of his bloodwork was concerning and that an overnight stay would be in his best interest. She also assured us that she would call with updates after her shift. Later that morning, she called to let us know Gunnar was receiving IV fluids and beginning to stabilize. She had briefed the daytime veterinarian, Dr. Corinne Woodson, who then called us around noon with more updates. Dr. Woodson explained that Gunnar had undergone multiple x-rays, extensive blood work, and had been started on IV fluids and medications. His condition was diagnosed as severe hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, and based on his liver enzyme levels, it was very likely he had ingested something toxic. Throughout his stay, Gunnar was carefully monitored, medicated, and supported by IV fluids. By that evening, he was able to eat (and keep down) solid food, but he remained slightly dehydrated, so the team decided to keep him one more night for continued treatment—which we were actually relieved to hear. The next morning, my wife picked up Gunnar after receiving thorough discharge instructions and a detailed explanation of his care. The attention, communication, and compassion we received at every step made a huge difference during such a scary experience. A week later, Gunnar is back to his happy, playful self. There are many more details we could share, but the bottom line is this: the team at Falls Road Animal Hospital was absolutely incredible. If your pet is ever in an emergency, we highly recommend trusting them with your pet’s care.
Hi Dan, we're happy to hear Gunnar is on his way to recovery. We will share this wonderful feedback with our team. We know these situations are tough but we are here to provide the absolute best care to your pets. Thank you so much for this review.
Experiencia fantástica: It was an emergency visit. We scheduled the ER visit by phone and were put in the line and in about 20 min got notification to come to the hospital. Another 20 min of waiting in the lobby and we were taken into the room. The staff and doctors were very friendly and took care of my good in very experienced and very professional manner. The whole thing took about 2 hours. Compare to another ERs!!! A little bit costly visit, but everything about pets is extremely expensive everywhere.
Hi Vladimir, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We know emergency situations can be tough but we're always here to provide the best quality care and excellent service for you and your pet. Thanks for the review!
Experiencia negativa: I called as my furbaby was having a GI emergency. I called around 11:30am and was told that I was #5 on the waiting list and should be about to be seen within 1-3 hours. I did not receive a call until back from them until 7:39pm . Completely unacceptable. Thankfully I was able to find another 24hrs vet hospital and my baby was seen right away.
We're very sorry to hear that, MB. We know these situations are difficult, and you should always be able to count on us for timely, emergency care. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia negativa: I am devastated!!!! I took my baby to get help and was given pills that wouldn’t even help her and they knew that, it was all about “how much money do you have ?” . With in a few hours my baby was rushed back to ER and when I arrived I assumed I was going to get support and help with my baby seizures. Instead I wasn’t given any option but to put her down and it ripped my heart apart !!! I knew my baby was sick but I just needed some assistants with getting her back home to her doctor where she was comfortable and treated like she mattered!!! My baby was treated like she was just a dollar sign and Doctor Baker made me feel so horrible and guilty about my decision because I was forced to put her down or watch her die was my only choice . I was even told “do you want to drive a far way and spend money you claim you don’t have “ I will need therapy after this ! I didn’t make this decision on my own it was forced !!!!
Dear Zakia,
We are truly sorry for the heartbreaking loss of your beloved pet. Please know that we understand how devastating and emotional this experience has been for you, and our hearts go out to you during this difficult time.
Your concerns are very important to us, and we would like the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand your experience and address them appropriately. We encourage you to reach out to the hospital at your convenience so we can talk through the details and offer any support we can.
We want to assure you that your pet was treated with care and compassion throughout her visits with us. She was first seen by Dr. Kalinowski, who administered emergency medications to help manage her seizures. While hospitalization is typically recommended in cases like this to provide continuous monitoring and care, we understand this wasn’t possible for you financially, and we did our best to offer support within those limits.
When you returned, Dr. Baker—who is known for dedicating time and empathy to her patients and clients—spent significant time discussing your options with you. Euthanasia was only recommended based on the severity of your pet’s condition and her poor chance of recovery, not as a decision made lightly or without deep consideration of your feelings.
We recognize that this was an incredibly emotional situation, and we’re sorry if anything said during those difficult conversations made you feel unsupported. That was never our intention. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—we would welcome the chance to speak with you personally.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Falls Road Animal Hospital
Experiencia negativa: They wouldn't do anything for my pet until I paid ANOTHER fee (he already had an exam) so he was just sitting in the back while time was of the essence. It was very late so while my bunny was going through stasis I had to wait for them to come back to the front desk which took a very long time. Usually when rabbits are going through stasis you have to act fast but they were taking their time. I wouldn't go here again.

Experiencia fantástica: My cat sometimes has severe constipation pain. When this happens, we call our normal vet and they squeeze her in same day to take care of her. Our vet was closed on Sunday so we needed to find an emergency vet open that could take her in for her constipation pain and give her an enema. This emergency vet was open. I was scared of the cost of emergency care. The consult fee was 177.00 everything else for plan of care was listed out in an estimate. We pick and choose what we wanted done. So cost wasn’t too bad! They gave her an enema and she passed what was stuck and she was out of pain. Front desk is great. Waiting room is very clean. The vet tech and doctor were amazing. I will definitely be coming back if this happens to my cat again on a Sunday. Highly recommend their care.
Hi Erin, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We know emergency situations can be tough but we're always here to provide the best quality care and excellent service for you and your cat. Thanks for the review!
Experiencia fantástica: I unfortunately had to come in with my family dog this morning. MY 2 children and myself were treated with compassion and the upmost respect. My dog was treated very lovingly and even the news was delivered with care. Even tho these circumstances are not what I prayed for the staff and treatment definitely were. Thank you so much for gentle delivery, options, and a place to be absolutely vulnerable. I would recommend to EVERYONE in an emergency situation. Thank you to everyone on the morning staff of 06/15/2025. Thank you for loving Pounds too.
Thank you for the review. We understand what you're going through, and we’re happy to hear that our team provided some small semblance of comfort during a difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
Experiencia fantástica: Wednesday night we had to take our cat there because we accidentally gave my cat a double dose of insulin. We called and they said bring her in it was 830 at night. So she spent overnight there and we got her the next morning we where also told we could call through out the night to check on her.I recommended falls road to any cat owner I know.Thank you for making us feel comfortable while you had out precious cat.
Hello Laura, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand how concerning it can be when unexpected situations arise with our beloved pets. We're glad to hear that our team was able to provide comfort and care for your precious cat during her stay. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we're grateful for your trust. If you ever need us again, we're here to help.
Experiencia negativa: From trying to find the place, they moved to over an hour waiting in the forced air lobby, then in an exam room. I left without seeing a vet. The staff is inept, unwelcoming. It was a terrible experience. My dog needs some diagnostic testing that Lutherville Animal Hospital can't do. I had to pay a $50 deposit. Don't go there.
This should never be the impression we leave, Cheryl. Providing all pet owners with the utmost degree of quality and knowledgeable care is our first priority. We will share your feedback with our team and hope you give us a chance to take care of you and your pet in the future.
Experiencia positiva: I had to bring one of my cats in unexpectedly. The wait wasn't long. They gave good advice, provided educational documents for me to review and made sure to consider all the possibilities before providing a diagnosis. Extremely kind, helpful and affordable. The only reason I gave a 4 star is for the broken Xray machine. Overall great experience.

Experiencia fantástica: My puppy was so sick. Thought we were losing him. Veterinarians and staff were calm, professional, kind, gentle, warm and welcoming. Could not extol them more. Worried as we were, we felt or little fella was in competent hands. Home now, recovering slowly after almost a week in the ICU. Special shout out to Dr. Bloom. Ivy leaguer all the way. Could not be more grateful.
Hello Margaret, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand how distressing it can be when a beloved pet is unwell, and we're relieved to hear that your puppy is now home and recovering. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we wish your little fella a smooth and speedy recovery. If you need anything further, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Experiencia negativa: Bizarre & short lived experience with them. After making an appt online I called to ask a few follow up questions about a new appointment for my dog. I learned the promotion listed online was misleading and learned a deposit was required to hold the appointment. I told Michelle at that point not to schedule the appt and I would call back if I changed my mind. A few hours later the same employee called me back repeatedly in rapid succession even after I ignored the first call. I actually accidentally answered as I was trying to block the number to keep from the calls from coming through repeatedly. I asked why they were calling since I told them not to schedule. She kinda cut me off several times, ignored my confusion and just over and over again, in an oddly forceful manner, said I was supposed to call back. Just a very weird and uncomfortable interaction, won’t be using their services.
We understand your concerns and are sorry to hear about your experience, Lauren. It’s important to us that our clients feel comfortable and respected during their interactions with us. We appreciate your feedback regarding the communication you received and will ensure it is addressed. Please feel free to reach out to us us at (410) 825-9100 if you wish to discuss this further. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Experiencia fantástica: My dog 5 year old dog caught a stomach flu or something. He was sick, uncomfortable and miserable and he was like number 100 in line at an animal hospital in my area.He was only number two at Falls Rd, thankfully. The staff were courteous, quick and treated my dog with compassion and gentleness.I didn’t have money for the whole work up but I did get him what he needed to get better.I just left the place and he hasn’t even started his home Antibiotics yet and he’s already back to himself. He came straight home ready to play with my other dog and eat his treats like normal. After the care we received, Both of my dogs are going to this place for primary care going forward .Additionally, their new facility is very upscale, clean and lovely.
Hi India, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We know emergency situations can be tough but we're always here to provide the best quality care and excellent service for you and your dog. Thanks for the review!
Experiencia negativa: I brought my one year old pocket bully in to be examined. I informed the Dr.Dorito (yes, Dorito) who examined him how dehydrated and how much blood was in his stool. She thought prescribing him an anti nausea med combined with a appetite increase med , not to mention a probiotic powder to be added to his food ....AFTER I CLEARLY STATED HE WAS NOT EATING OR DRINKING!! and said if he didn't improve bring him back? And finished by saying no need for xrays. No need for xrays??? I was charged $700 for the wasted visit plus $200 more for meds that made him even more sick. When I brought him back the next day , a young black female vetenary doctor attended him this time, with her older white male tech who both asked why didn't she do and xray, it's obvious he may need surgery. As i stated, my dog was doing bad coming in....the next day his body was becoming septic. Dr. Dorito, speaking to me as if I'm low income OR unable to pay for medical expenses pushed the take him home narrative. My dog died on May 17 2025 bcuz of misdiagnosis and lack of empathy for my puppy, and my family. Take ya pet there at ya own risk. 24hrs does not mean Top Notch veterinary medical assistance.

Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our services.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely the worst place to bring your pet emergency or not. They do not care about your animal they only want your money and a LOT of it. Speaking with other vets about my experience after the fact I had no idea how badly I was scammed by these people. Brought my cat in with an emergency they wouldn’t even look at him until i called animal control and as he was struggling at the front desk, both the receptionist were just playing games and laughing with each other. You’d be better off taking your pet across the world before you go here. Seriously
We're very sorry to hear that, N. We know these situations are difficult, and you should always be able to count on us for timely, emergency care. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia fantástica: FRAH came to my family's rescue last week when our 13 year-old dog was discharged from another animal hospital after spinal surgery. Max was non-ambulatory, and all of his caregivers at home have some degree of physical disability. Therefore, we were unable to give Max the intensive care he needed to recover from his surgery. FRAH, located in a beautiful new facility, offers round-the-clock services and was happy to accept our sweet dog into their care. All of the employees, from the front desk staff to the vet techs and veterinarians, have been friendly, welcoming, and kind, tirelessly working to keep Max comfortable during his entire stay. They have been continuously monitoring his pain and his progress during his weeklong stay, and they have been communicative with my parents (Max's owners) while he's been there. I don't know what we would have done without the immense help and reassurance at FRAH. Thank you to all the employees of FRAH- you have made a huge and positive difference in our lives! :)
Thank you for the wonderful review! We pride ourselves on our clinic's high standard of care and expertise, and we're glad that you can count on us to take great care of Max. Our team appreciates hearing from you.
Experiencia negativa: Went to the emergency hospital around 1:30. Just to be turned away. Was told my pup could be seen at 6:30. Not once did the two cuties on duty look at my SMOOCHIE. Well to make a long story short. I registered on line to be seen at the PetER on York Road. They emailed for us to come on in. We arrive like 3:20. The two Professionals at the front desk, took one look at Our Smoochie and called this case STAT. All the staff arrived in the room that we were lead to. It wasn't good. OUR SMOOCHIE is no longer with us.
Dear Rahonda,
We are heartbroken to hear about the loss of your beloved Smoochie. Unfortunately, we cannot find you or your pet in our system without more information. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your visit further and address your concerns. Please call us at (410) 825-9100 and ask to speak to our hospital manager. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Falls Road Animal Hospital
Experiencia fantástica: Our first time going in with an emergency, Dr.Ullman and team took wonderful care of my furbaby Prissy. She needed dental surgery. The establishment is clean. The answered all of our questions. Customer service was kind and respectful as well. A little pricey but they are an emergency hospital so that's understandable. They also accept Care Credit.
Hi Misty, we really appreciate the review! We're here to be the best in veterinary care and are glad you and Prissy had a great experience with our team. We'll gladly share your kind words with them! Take care!
Experiencia negativa: This 1 star is for the overall Hospital, NOT my interaction with the receptionist, who was helpful and polite. I called on Sunday morning (8:30am) since, you know, they tout 24-hour Emergency Pet care.... apparently not. The receptionist said there wasn't even a vet there and one should be there around 10am... what??? She said 3 other people/pets were already in the waiting room so hope none of those animals was critical. I put my name on the waitlist and explained the issue my cat was having. I got a call back an hour later - the receptionist had talked to the vet (who still wasn't even at the hospital) and the vet said "your cat probably has xxxx and I'm unable to do that kind of surgery so we can't help" ......unreal. To be told by a VET that my cat cannot be helped? After not even seeing him? I went to another care location who diagnosed my cat with a very simple issue, addressed said issue (without surgery), and sent me home with medicine and a healthier cat. Won't even bother calling next time.
Your experience and the well-being of your pet means everything to us and we want to look into this thoroughly, Liz. We will discuss your concerns with our team, so please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia fantástica: My chase passed away a few years ago. He was my first dog and I took him from an extremely abusive home. I had no real idea how to raise a dog and sought help from several professionals and was turned down by all. I wasn’t going to allow that to be the end of his story so I retrained him the best I could. Unfortunately there was still a lot I wouldn’t know even with having pet insurance and monthly check ins. In the end I believe I gave him a beautiful life. On his last day I took him to this hospital hoping he would be cured but I was met with unbearable news. I wasn’t struggling financially but I pulled the finances together to ensure he left properly and had a beautiful cremation. When it was time to euthanize him chase died in my arms. Still to this day I wonder if he went naturally or if the people at this hospital could tell I was broken emotionally and financially, and induced him before I said good bye. It’s a question I’ll never get an answer to but his last moments were very special. He died in my arms, surrounded by love. When I got his cremation box I broke down. I understood the cost because the sentiment of it all was so beautifully arranged. It’s been a little over 5 years and I still think about that night. Thank you to whoever those workers were at midnight. Your efforts and your kindness meant a lot to me.
We're very sorry for your loss, Breanna. We know how hard it was to say goodbye to Chase, and we're glad that our team provided some comfort during the difficult experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
Experiencia fantástica: Doctor Scardina was very knowledgeable and professional. We felt like she took her time and really cared for our fur babies. We didn't feel rushed and I'm confident the medication will work. Thanks for caring so much!
Hi Stephanie, thanks for the great review! We're here to provide the best quality care and expertise, and are glad to see you and your pets got the services needed. Our team appreciates you taking the time to leave us your feedback!
Experiencia negativa: Avoid This Place at All Costs!!! About a month ago, I took my cat in for an injury. We ended up waiting for hours, received little to no actual care, and were charged $500. Now that my cat is experiencing the same symptoms, I simply called to request a refill of the same medication they had previously prescribed. Instead, they insisted we come in again—just so they can charge us the same outrageous amount. It’s clear they care more about making money than actually helping animals. The staff on the phone are also consistently rude and unhelpful. This place feels like a business first, and an animal clinic second. Please think twice before trusting them with your pet’s well-being.
Hi Gizem, we agree that you should always expect the best care for your pets. Cost is certainly a major consideration and we want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to billing. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100. We would love to speak with you personally.
Experiencia negativa: Been standing with a sick animal at an empty reception desk in an empty lobby for about twenty minutes, tough to recommend. People in scrubs keep walking by without helping or acknowledging us. Leaving for another place now.
We're sorry to hear about the long wait, Daniel. We know how important it is to treat your pet as quickly as possible. Please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia fantástica: The entire team at Falls Road Animal Hospital is outstanding. Every member lead with empathy and was extremely well trained. As I waited in the lobby I watched people who had obviously been bringing their pets for years enter knowing they would be well cared for, and share memories with strangers to let them know they were in good hands. Perhaps what was most impressive was the cohesiveness and efficiency among the entire team. The ability to read the needs of the patients, parents and people who make the inner workings happen is unlike any other vetrinary clinic I have ever been to. Paddington Bear, River and I are profoundly grateful.
Hi Ellie, thanks for the great review! We're here to provide the best quality care and expertise, and are glad to see you and River got the services needed. Our team appreciates you taking the time to leave us your feedback!
Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to Falls Road for over 15 years and have had many wonderful experiences. We love Dr. Hayward, but also the front staff and the techs have been wonderful too. Michelle and Dorothy were so helpful meeting my needs for getting my dog in for an emergency last minute visit and X-ray. I so appreciate them and all of the staff at Falls Road and can't imagine going anywhere else!!
Thank you for the amazing review, Michaela! We pride ourselves on our clinic's high standard of care and expertise, and we're glad that you can count on us to take great care of you and your pets. Our team appreciates hearing from you, it's been a privilege to be your vet all these years.
Experiencia negativa: Today is the 2nd time I’ve taken my dog for an emergency visit and I can 1000% say, this place is a pure money grab whereas the vet Dr.Bloom does everything to try to convince you to spend money. The first visit in mid 2023 where my 2.5year old dog injured his leg and they wanted $7000+ for surgery. She really plays on people’s emotions when it comes to their pets, saying how he would never walk again and it could cause further issues with bone cancer etc. After spending a little over $700 on X-rays and tests; I decided to not opt for the surgery and give him time to heal at home. She also recommended a behavioral specialist in VA which I felt was quite odd at the time… Well almost 2 years later with plenty of research and treatment at home with vitamins and supplements for joints he’s FINE! Now today my 2nd visit, due to him throwing up 2x in the last 3 weeks, refusing to eat and some other behavior changes she recommended blood work, sedation, X-rays, possible GI infection or pancreatitis issue, for around $1200 and recommended the behavioral specialist again for another $600. I then asked her is there anything I can do at home since he’s not consistently vomiting and eats less than normal and she offered a shot to stop the vomiting and IV fluids (in office done by her or her staff) — totally not answering my question- I’ve come to the conclusion that she is really just looking to get people to spend money blindly. Why would I let her give him a shot for something he’s not doing consistently? Doing my own research, I’ll treat him at home since he appears to be having anxiety since our daily routine has changed (which she actually mentioned)… so all of the extras for what? I don’t recommend anyone take their pets here. Upon reading the reviews, it’s definitely a money hungry clinic.
Experiencia fantástica: We had a potential toxicity emergency with our two dogs. I drove them to Falls Rd. Early in the morning and they were fast, caring, and reasonably priced. Dr Bloom and the vet techs diagnosed and solved the issue, informing me every step of the way. Jaden at the front desk was informative and helpful. I recommend!
Hi Lisa, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We know emergency situations can be tough but we're always here to provide the best quality care and excellent service for you and your two lovely dogs. Thanks for the review!
Experiencia fantástica: I just came back from my first visit. The receptionist, vet tech, and vet were all very patient with me and my nervous pup. They carefully reviewed her records, took their time in working with her, and by the time she left she seemed calmer than when we had arrived. The vet we spoke to took their time to answer questions and make recommendations. I'm happy to find a doctor for my pup that is just as good as my personal doctor.
Hi David, thanks for the great review! We're here to provide the best quality care and expertise and are glad to hear that your first experience with us was a positive one. Our team appreciates you taking the time to leave us your feedback!
Experiencia negativa: Not a great experience. Felt rushed by the exotic vet just so he could move onto the next patient. The vet lectured us in the waiting area and did not give us a chance to ask questions before prescribing us antibiotics and sending us home with a $400 bill. They said call us back in 2 weeks but our gecko died a week later despite following their instructions. Won’t be back.
Experiencia negativa: Spinning back to re-add the BAD REVIEW I gave, but this place must have deleted. I got home from going out to eat, to see my cat could not pee. I ran him to FALLS RD animal hospital. I apparently left my wallet at the restaurant, and they wouldn't even BOARD my cat until I drove 45 mins to a dif town to get the wallet. The cashier literally said "sorry if he dies ". I'm guessing it was deleted because they gave me a case of cat food as an apology. But I still feel as though people should be warned of the ethics in this place.
Experiencia positiva: Half of our experience was lovely, and the other half was terrible. I brought my cat into the establishment because he seemed unwell over the past two days. Upon arrival, the lady behind the counter - who checked us in- was very nice. He was then brought back by one of the staff, to do some preliminary test work. When she came back, she told us that he most likely had pancreatitis (thankfully he did not!) - this was not presented as “the worst case scenario” or “he might” it was “he most likely has this, and you're glad you got in here in time.” (It was not until a little while later WITH OUR OWN GOOGLING, that we figured out this was the worst case scenario. After a few tests were done, we were told he would need fluids and the doctor proceeded to leave the room. We were given ZERO information (if she would be back, if we had to leave, if a vet tech would be administrating the fluids, does he need and IV… NOTHING.) We were then told he would need the IV, and were left for another period of waiting. During this period of waiting my cat threw up blood. Immediately my mother rushed out of the room to find someone, she found ZERO staff. (Not great for emergencies) - she then found the lady at the front desk and told her our cat threw up BLOOD…and the staff would not have been LESS helpful. She said the lady poked her head in to a room and said “cats mom says he threw up and its pink). We were then left in our room for THIRTY MINUTES ALONE. They let my sick cat sit in his own vomit and blood for thirty minutes.!!!! It wasn’t until my mother stepped out AGAIN she bumped into another vet tech (I believe named Crystal) - who was very sweet, and unfortunately just the messenger, who relayed to us information that not only did they know we were waiting, know he’d thrown up blood, hadn’t come to see him and decided that he was okay. How can you possibly diagnose him without seeing him. Still no one came to clean it up. It wasn't until a random vet tech named Darnell (who is the only reason this review has 3 stars and not 0) stopped by our window. He was by far, the sweetest human being and could not have been more professional or kind. He explained he knew nothing of what was going on, and was currently in the middle of something else, but wanted to jump in. He was very calm, listened to all of our angers, saw the blood immediately, cleaned it up and said that he was going to take it to the vet because “its really red”. (Which makes me nervous, had he not come in, and the rest of the vets gone off their assumption of his blood/throw up without seeing it - would my cat have gotten the proper care?!) He also explained that our vet was also unable to come and see us again because she was in the middle of a dental exam. & while I do not expect my cat to be her only client that day - she never expressed a “goodbye” or that she would be passing her work onto any other members of staff - we had ZERO clue wed been left by her. (Which I find incredibly unprofessional). Upon his return, he and Crystal said they were going to take a look at him, because once again it was “really red” (which seemed to surprise them). In the end, my cat was given the proper meds (hopefully) and fluids. We’ve been told to monitor him for 72 hours so hopefully this prescription works. However, Crystal and Darnell were the only two good things about our visit. They definitely deserve more thank yous than we can give. The rest of the experience in my opinion was awful. How do you give someone an uncertain worst case scenario diagnosis and not present it as such?, leave your patients with zero information in waiting rooms for 30+ minutes, leave an animal sitting in its blood and vomit, make a diagnosis about said blood and vomit without checking on him, and then seem surprised its worse than what you BLINDLY ASSUMED. I try hope my cat has been given the right diagnosis and medicine, and I hope that any pet in need accompanied by a crying nervous pet owner meets Darnell and Crystal - because they are very good at their jibs as well as good people.
Your experience and the well-being of your cat means everything to us, Katherine. We will discuss your concerns with our team, so please reach out to us at (410) 825-9100 so we can get in touch with you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Experiencia negativa: This place is by far the most expensive vet or animal hospital we have ever been too in life. Sure the staff was friendly, but the assault on my pockets negated that. We are talking $900 for xrays and bloodwork on an almost 12 year old domestic short hair cat. The pricing screams private equity owned. The cost of this one visit was almost 3 times more than I spent at my original vet for the diagnosis for the same x rays and bloodwork. This place may boast of celebrity visits, but just know they are charging you like you are a millionaire. $900 dollars for Anesthesia for a cat when the same Anesthesia is $50 online for a horse feels like a fleecing. Buyer beware, the prices do not compare, no way we should have to pay $3000 to remove two teeth on a domestic short hair.
Hi D, giving your pet the best possible care is our goal. We're disappointed to hear you were unhappy with the options that were provided. We know you want to give your cat the best care and also be cost-conscious. We'd like to see if we can still help. You can contact us at (410) 825-9100 and we would be happy to work with you.
Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with the service I received on 1/1/25 for my emergency of my dog Midnight . I am very sorry that he passed away before I could bring him back for his follow up appointment on the 14th, He passed away on the 6th which was totally unexpected for me as I thought he just had an arthritis problem which he was being treated for at my regular vet. I am very sorry that in my confusion of my loss I had him cremated without thinking to have an autopsy as to what happened to him. I do apricate all that you did for him. Bill Eidman
We're very sorry for your loss, Bill. We know how hard it was to say goodbye to Midnight, and we're glad that our team provided some comfort during the difficult experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Falls Road Hospital has been a Great experience under stressful circumstances. My puppy had broken her leg and the Doctor and Dorothy had been very supportive and caring of Jackie. I really appreciate all the help I received during that time. Because of the care of my emergency care I decided to make this hospital Jackie primary hospital. The front office has been great as well. Thank you so much Falls Road Hospital for all your support and care.
Thank you for the wonderful review, Michelle! We certainly appreciate your trust. We're here to care for your lovely puppy whenever you need us.
Experiencia fantástica: We have had many animal friends be treated at Falls Road Animal Hospital over the years. Every Vet, Technician, and staff member has been knowledgeable and informative to help us with whatever our needs have been no matter what the hour. The facility has always had a warm and loving atmosphere over the years. I have seen them go out of their way to help numerous types of animals in every way possible. During Covid when they were understaffed, dealing with restrictions and less hours, they did everything they could to accommodate countless clients, including us, the best ways possible. We and all our animal friends owe them a debt of gratitude for all the ways they have helped us. Thanks and love for your service >^,^< <3
Thank you for the amazing review, Elysa! We pride ourselves on our clinic's high standard of care and expertise, and we're glad that you can count on us to take great care of you and your pets. Our team appreciates hearing from you, it's been a privilege to be your vet all these years.
Experiencia fantástica: My dog tore its ACL running in the snow. My vet said it needed a TPLO surgery to repair it.I researched and found the best place, Falls Road animal hospital. They have an experienced surgeon and most important are the only hospital that offers overnight post op care.
Hi Jordan, thank you for the review! We know surgeries are tough situations but we're here to do the absolute best job for you and your dog. Glad to hear about your experience with us!
Experiencia fantástica: Our golden has had 2 TPLO (knee) surgeries the past 2 months. Both times, the staff and doctors have been nothing but outstanding. The staff is very friendly as soon as you walk in the door. They answered all our questions, especially when it came to billing. They took great care of our dog, and we are so happy we took her there. They are one of the few in the area, and we drove over an hour each way, that is staffed properly to take appointments same day or close. Other places we call it was weeks before a consult and even more time for the operation. Their prices are the lowest compared to other centers as well. We will always take our dogs back to Falls Road for any major service and highly recommend them.
Hi Bryan, thank you for the review! We know surgeries are tough situations but we're here to do the absolute best job for you and your golden. Glad to hear about your experience with us!
Experiencia negativa: Go here if you want to make a bad experience even worse. I could tell you so much. I could talk about how I spent over $2400 and 3 separate visits with Falls Road for an issue immediately resolved when I took my pets to another hospital a state away. This wasn't about trial and error. The only difference was that the vet at the other hospital listened to me. I could tell you how often I've been snapped at over the phone or dismissed, despite the fact that I am NEVER rude to customer service workers. I'm shy; I work in the field myself; I know how hard it is. Most (maybe half?) of the staff are kind. or at the very least, don't regard me with scorn. However, I can tell you this much as I've been trying Falls Roads out for almost a year: ONLY COME HERE AS AN ABSOLUTE LAST RESORT. Believe me, I NEVER write bad reviews. I talked myself out of writing this one three times. But I KNOW this will save you a lot of heartache. Maybe just go somewhere else.
Hi Lee, our goal is to provide the best possible care for every pet and leave our clients at ease. Your review is very concerning to hear and we will discuss it with our team. Please contact us directly at (410) 825-9100 so we can speak with you personally.
Experiencia fantástica: This facility is truly here to help people! Best experience I've ever had when seeking care for my buddy! I'd do anything for him, and I truly feel they would do the same! We will be back in the future for any additional needs or routine checks! Thank you all so very much!
Thank you, Jon! We pride ourselves on our clinic's high standard of care and expertise, and we're glad that you can count on us to take great care of you and your pet. Our team appreciates hearing from you.
Experiencia fantástica: They’re amazing. I’d appreciate all of things from Falls road animals hospital always support and helping me & my pet had a peaceful time together before my pet will going the heaven . With a lots of of care for us. Many thanks
We're very sorry for your loss, Katie. We know how hard it was to say goodbye to your pet, and we're glad that our team provided some comfort during the difficult experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
Experiencia fantástica: Falls Road Animal Hospital gave my cat, Max, ten more years of life by helping him through a Urinary Blockage, And this year I brought in my 17 year old Jessica, they helped him heal from Pancreatitis and he is back home and well. ( I couldn't say enough about Falls Road to my Dentist, I just had a cleaning). Thank you so much!
Thank you for the amazing review, M! We pride ourselves on our clinic's high standard of care and expertise, and we're glad that you can count on us to take great care of you and your pets. Our team appreciates hearing from you, it's been a privilege to be your vet all these years.
Experiencia fantástica: Our dog had a few small puncture wounds on his ear and it was past normal office hours for most vets. I had seen Falls Road Animal Hospital previously on Google when looking for a 24/7 facility, so we drove down right away. Even as a walk-in, we were checked in promptly and a doctor was available to meet us. Dr. Ullman was extremely kind to our dog and quickly diagnosed the situation. We left with a clear treatment plan and the cost was generally less than what I had paid at other emergency vets previously. I will certainly be returning to this animal hospital in the future (if necessary)!
Experiencia negativa: Horrible. Just horrible. Dr Frantz was kind & compassionate but everything else was terrible. I was placed on hold endlessly when trying to get updates by phone on our hospitalized dog. We were not informed of significant changes in her health. I did not get the feeling that any of the staff loved animals. It was like a factory. My dog’s co-owner was abroad and had given them complete written permission to let me handle the dog’s care and paperwork without him, as he was instructed to do by the hospital. They then insisted on his signing and sending all the paperwork from overseas. Ultimately, we decided to put our dog to sleep. I was put in a dingy, dirty “comfort room.” The tech came in, carrying my dying pet, all bright and cheery, as if she had no idea why I was there. (At least someone there was cheerful!) Our dog was placed on my lap with a blanket (no waterproof pad) and somewhere in the process, she released her bladder all over my lap. I think a veterinary hospital should have been prepared for that possibility. After deciding I was ready to leave, I alerted the staff with the device they had given me. After waiting and waiting with my deceased pet on my soaking lap, I became so frustrated that no one ever came that I decided to lift our dog onto the exam table and I walked out, covered in urine. I tried to alert a staff member in the hall that I was leaving, but received a brusk, angry response from this arrogant doc that she was going into surgery and I should not be talking to her. To end my miserable experience, I discovered that there is no restroom at the facility and that I could only use an old, dirty bathroom which was in a creepy empty storefront nearby. What an aggravating and sad end to the life of our wonderful dog.
Experiencia fantástica: I had to euthanize my 14 year old Pit Bull my vet of 28 years said they had no appointments open until November 21, I called Falls Road Animal Hospital they got us in within an hour, the vet techs , the vet Dr Lance were nothing but amazing caring and compassionate , I couldn't have been more thankful for what they did for us. Highly recommend
We're very sorry for your loss, Kim. We know how hard it was to say goodbye to your Pit Bull, and we're glad that our team provided some comfort during the difficult experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
Experiencia fantástica: Falls road did an excellent job of taking care of my pup when he needed surgery after being attacked by another dog at daycare. Even though they were not our primary veterinarian, they were able to see and treat him right away. Not only that, Dr. Burks been excellent about his follow up care. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I was absolutely blown away with kindness of everyone that helped us when I called and came in with my sick pitty girl! They were compassionate to me and her . They also worked with me financially to meet the best care for my girl without breaking my pockets. I am so grateful for them and both my girls will be now receiving care from them from here on out . Not matter how small or big .

Experiencia fantástica: Literally the best veterinarian I’ve ever been to! They always take great care of my pets, and when our pet turtle passed away, the gave us a wonderful memorial package with his ashes. Last time I was here the staff put on a movie for my anxious cat ❤️ The vets were so gentle with my scared little man, and managed to calm him easily. They also clipped his nails super fast!
Hello, Logan. We understand what you're going through, and we’re happy to hear that our team provided some small semblance of comfort during a difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
