Experiencia fantástica: This vet clinic is one of the best in Greensboro. I've gotten 2 of my girls fixed here, and it's always been such a pleasant, reassuring experience with a procedure that can be anxiety-inducing. Clear communication regarding appointment making and aftercare. It's always such a treat to see the kitties in the lobby, as well. This location also partners with the Guilford County spay/neuter voucher program, and provides a very valuable service at an incredibly reasonable price. Thank you for what you do for the community and our beloved fur babies.

Experiencia fantástica: A couple of weeks ago I brought in my kitten Izzy to get spayed. I have to say it was the best experience I’ve ever had at the Vet. The woman working the front desk was amazing. She was very thorough, but also she had the best personality. You could tell she is an animal lover and truly cares about every animal that comes to Sheets. And the value, compared to other vets you cannot beat the value at Sheets. I paid Under $200 for everything, that included the surgery and her shots. I had to take my girlfriend’s kitten to a different vet about 6 months ago and get her spayed and the same shots and it was $560 for the identical services. I got Izzy home and you literally couldn’t tell she even had surgery by her behavior. She started playing with my other cat the moment we got home. I want to thank the entire staff at Sheets, I have been recommending you all to anyone I know with pets.

Experiencia fantástica: We were faced with the impossible decision to have to put our sweet, 14 year old lab down. Sheets Pet Clinic absolutely went above and beyond for us and for our lab, Bailey. They comforted us & Bailey as well, talked us through each step before anything was administered or done. We also brought our other 2 dogs to have them fixed and the process was easy and they remained incredibly kind and professional the entire time. Experiencia fantástica: I have never left a review for a business before, but I must leave one for this business. I had occasion to visit Sheets Pet Clinic today; my doggie was hit by a car and sustained some fairly minor scrapes and bumps. I called one of the prime veterinarians in the area and was told that it would cost $500 for the examination. Needless to say, I called another veterinarian and was told that the testing would cost $470. Having nowhere near that kind of money, I didn't know what else to do. One of the veterinarians at least gave me a list of other veterinarians, one of which was Sheets Pet Clinic. I took my doggie to them and they examined him and checked him out, having told me it would cost $215 for the whole works. When all was said and done, they said that the bill was actually less than $215 and that they were refunding part of my payment. That alone is enough for me to say integrity like that I haven't seen any long, long time. Thank you Dr sheets and all you other lovely people! ,4

Experiencia fantástica: I went to another clinic that told me nothing was wrong with my 4 year old service dog yet she was getting sicker and sicker by the day. I was recommended to come here but by that time it was too late. I had to make the heart breaking decision to end her suffering. I was beyond heart broken. I came in with her in a wagon as she could no longer walk and left alone....so many tears. This clinic actually gave me the answers I was so desperately looking for and explained what the cause was for her sickness and sepsis. They walked me thru the whole process of saying goodbye. I cannot thank this clinic enough for starting the first chapter of healing. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Can't wait to see my pretty girl again at the Rainbow Bridge. Experiencia negativa: This clinic claims to want to help with the feral cat overpopulation situation. First, the website is very misleading and confusing on fees for feral spay and neutering. We took a mama feral I was able to capture and it cost almost $300. All went well and she’s now thriving in the woods behind my house, but when I took two of her 5-month old kittens, they told me I would have to pay full price for each even though I was going to bring two more, and while disappointed I still wanted to proceed with doing the right thing, willing to spend almost $1,000. I left the two kittens there in a medium dog crate together, it was the only way I could get them there. They all saw the kittens and crate but waited until after I get back home (40 minutes one way) to call me refusing to try and get the kittens out of the cage I brought them in because they were together. Claiming they can’t put employees at risk. Well, yes, feral cats are hard to deal with! Took me weeks/months to build the trust to get them trapped…bought the cage, took the morning off work to take them, only to get turned away and now I’m on a 9 month waiting list with another organization and waiting for another local vet to call me back. If you claim to want to help the ferals GET THE GEAR and train the staff.. proper gloves/protective gear for your team! If you you don’t have that, use a towel, a cardboard box, whatever it takes is my attitude since I care. And if that’s too much then don’t claim to be a feral vet. Ferals are hard to deal with.

While program funding can occasionally run out, we also offer feral-rate pricing for trappers who follow our guidelines.

At check-in, our staff clearly communicated that each cat must be brought individually in a humane trap, not in a carrier, and that cats cannot be brought together in the same trap or carrier. This is a safety and welfare requirement: combining cats invalidates the feral rate and puts the animals at risk of injury or stress. Despite this explanation, the cats were left in a carrier together, which is not allowed under our program policies.

Our team is fully trained and equipped to handle feral cats safely and humanely, and these policies are in place to ensure proper pre-medication, handling, and staff safety. These protocols reflect industry standards and responsible veterinary care, not a lack of compassion.

We remain committed to helping community cats and encourage trappers to review our program guidelines in advance to ensure a safe and successful experience for both cats and staff.

Experiencia negativa: I have called and left messages for 8 straight days for someone to call me back to schedule a spay for my cat. No one EVER calls back and no one EVER answers the phone. They need an automated or online scheduler so the desk staff can’t have more time to sit on their phones

Experiencia negativa: God forbid you adopt a cat from them. My cats now have a responsible veterinarian who will look over them but whoever is running the front desk God forbid your animal needs any sort of care. You will be on hold for at least 20 minutes no one will call to check on you My cats needed their rabies vaccination redone and I told the front desk lady they need their rabies vaccination redone she put me on hold for 35 minutes before I hung up. They have the worst veterinary care they have the worst front desk care The only good thing about them is I got two healthy cats from their adoption services do not ever take your pets here.

Experiencia fantástica: We had our 6 month old puppy spayed here and I had a wonderful experience I just absolutely loved first of all being able to make an appointment without jumping through the hoops, they sent multiple reminders and pre surgery instructions! The check in process was simple and the staff were all so kind and sweet! The after care instructions were handed to us and the pricing is phenomenal, they were super transparent about it from the start which I really appreciated! Definitely recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: If your cat has dental issues, Sheets is the place to go. My baby Stuart is getting the majority (maybe all) of his teeth removed due to stomatitis. Dr. Sheets knows what she’s doing when it comes to stomatitis kitties; she tells you what needs to be done and does a great job executing the treatment plan. I thought I was going to spend thousands on multiple tooth extractions, but Sheets is shockingly cost effective. Everyone here is friendly, and they do such a thorough job and explain everything so well. I felt very secure leaving my baby with them all day. You can tell that everyone genuinely cares about the work they do and the animals they help. I’m so glad I found this place! Stuart will also be very glad I found this place once the anesthesia wears off!

Experiencia negativa: Most unorganized pet clinic I have ever been to. I requested a heartworm test, which I did not get. I had to ask for a prescription six times. The office manager was extremely rude. Instead of calling me to see if my dog was current on his Rabies. He was given another 3 year shot. They called me to come get my dog because he was showing his teeth and growling. When I left him, he was wagging his tail. He is a Great Dane, a gentle giant, he has never showed that kind of behavior before. Not sure what he experienced while he was there to cause him to behave that way.They were able to sedate him with my help and they did neuter him. A friend had his dog spayed. He paid for an collar that he did not receive. When I asked for credit for the collar they gave it to him.

Experiencia fantástica: I got adopted by a cat on December 20,2024. I am not a cat person, but it was 18 degrees F outside, and she followed me to my car. No one responded to the Pawboost I placed so I made arrangements to get her spayed. Sheets did an amazing job as they did with my dog Tanner 4 years ago. My cat recovered well, but I had to go out of town for training with my job. While I was away, my cat took to overgrooming herself, and had wounds all over her body. I left a message with Sheets. I didn't hear back so I took my cat to Truss vet on Battleground. Truss got my cat's skin issues under control, and Sheets did a follow up. I booked the follow up exam with Sheets as they run a cat rescue, and they know their stuff. I've donated to them on and off over these past 5 years. I mostly booked a dental exam because the vet at Truss said the cat had gingivitis. It turns out the cat's teeth are fine. She was just cutting her adult teeth; it was all a huge relief not having to pay for a cleaning and extraction on a 6 month old kitten. Dr. Scott is the best! I will be back for my dog's vaccines. Even with upcharges, these guys are on par with Piedmont Communities Spay and Neuter Clinic. I'm not wealthy, and now that I have a cat and a dog keeping the vet costs down is a priority. They're cheaper than Cobb Animal Clinic and Banfield; I received the same care as I would've had at Cobb. They have good customer service, and I have no complaints. Realize these guys are busy, very, very busy. Piedmont Communities Spay and Neuter no longer does dental cleanings and only does low cost vaccines. Piedmont Communities also has inconsistent hours and I never know when they're open. These guys have picked up the slack. They may not call you back right away, but they will call you back. They called me so you guys need to be nice and persistent. They also have 2 people running that small waiting room. The fact they do the amount of care they do without too many issues is a testament to the vets and staff. I've been vet hopping for awhile now, mostly due to costs and losing income from layoffs. For now I only need routine care, I brush my dog's teeth daily, and am trying to get the cat used to it too. I give both of them omega 3s, and hip/joint supplements. That goes a long way in having a healthy animal. I know it's hard out there finding a regular vet that has the time, and good quality staff. I think I.found an ok place for the routine stuff for now. And if cost is an issue, please consider pet insurance the day you adopt your pet. Lemonade insurance starts at $10/month.

Experiencia fantástica: Sheets Pet Clinic has made a huge contribution to animal welfare and supporting people who love animals. Compared to a vast majority of veterinarian offices Sheets has been able to stay affordable in comparison to today's prices in routine health care, emergency care and spay and neuter. I have not witnessed where integrity, knowledge, experience, quality of care, supplies or medications are sacrificed to keep cost down. All the way around quality of care is what you would expect from any veterinarian office. I am thankful that I have found Sheets Pet Clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: I called to schedule a few spays (2 working farm dogs and our home pet) and the front staff was wonderful to work with. She booked all 3 on the same day since we'll be driving a decent distance and Dr. Sheets doesn't have weight limits like many of the Spay & Neuter Clinics near me. The person who handled scheduling was friendly and patient. She clearly explained what I needed to bring with us, when to arrive and the check-in procedure. I'll update after the surgeries.

Experiencia negativa: I took my dog to get spayed and Tammy (the office manager) was very rude at drop off. I adopted my dog from a foster program and changed her name. I used the her name at drop off and after a few seconds I stated that her name was actually different at the foster program (which is what the appointment was under). I corrected myself and apologized for the confusion. Tammy snapped stating, “well you should have said that” along with more in a belittling tone. I apologized again and she repeated herself in the same rude tone. What’s funny is she wasn’t even the one checking me in. It’s a shame because the new hire was extremely nice and welcoming both at drop off and pick up. I think I speak for all dog owners when I say if your dog is having surgery, you would want to be comfortable with who you’re dropping them off to. The rest of the staff did a great job making me feel that way.. but Tammy could use an ego check.

Experiencia negativa: Most irresponsible pet clinic I have ever come across. Would leave 0 stars if possible. I left a voicemail the day before my cats surgery detailing what services were to be performed. My husband dropped our cat off this morning with a full page signed/dated letter from me explaining the vaccines that were completed, the name of the LOCAL vet who did them, along with the rabies certificate and proof of vaccinations INSIDE THE CAT'S CARRIER! He showed the manager the partially folded documents and placed them back in the carrier. The manager proceeded to re-vaccinate my cat for 3 vaccines after there was already proof they were completed. I called, had records emailed, left a voicemail, delivered a signed statement and it wasn't followed. Don't waste your time or endanger your pet's life with this clinic to save a few bucks. It's not worth it.

From the time we stepped into the front door to the moment we left, all staff - receptionists, greeter, technicians etc] were so warm, friendly and polite! It was a bit of a wait, but it didn't bother us at all, from our understanding, it's an open clinic. Dr. Sheets is lovely and she really took the time to have a thorough conversation with us, answering all our questions and giving us meaningful insight! She really made us feel super comfortable. Experiencia negativa: Came here with my mom to bring my 13 year old Maltese who had dry scabs all over her back. For starters we came in they didn’t even ask any questions just my dogs name. We took her in and the first thing the doctor did was offer for her to get spayed she’s 13 no way are we doing that. Then they just prescribed her antibiotics without even knowing what it was and to come back if it doesn’t work. She literally said let me think and went out of the room didn’t even bother to do blood tests. We didn’t even ask her sense it’s clear as day the place was unprofessional. A few weeks later which is now we took her to a different vet today and they ran blood tests and everything and found out she had staph on her back. Don’t take your dog here unless you don’t care

Experiencia fantástica: Called on a Thursday and left a message on the hotline to have my rabbit neutered. Expected a longer wait but got a call back the following Tuesday. They had immediate availability which I also wasn’t expecting but ended up scheduling for the following Monday. Checked in at 8am, and they were able to do Cannoli’s surgery first of the day because I live an hour away. It was very much appreciated. Picked him up at 1pm and everything went well, no issues. Surgery comes with a free nail trim which he needed and a free long lasting pain injection so you don’t have to administer meds at home. Lifesaver. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and I never had one problem or complaint. The cats for adoption in the lobby were so cute. Noli was back to his normal self 4 hours after getting home but wouldn’t leave his incision site alone for about 2 days. Called the vet back for advice which they were very kind about but the bitter spray suggestion did not work for him. I ended up just checking the site daily for a week and thankfully it still healed well on its own despite him messing with it and escaping his recovery enclosure multiple times. Total menace. I am happy to report we are no longer using the entire floor as a litter box which ended immediately after surgery. Sanity has been restored. THANK YOU

My 8 yr old bulldog is my world… I feel like most pet owners can relate to this statement: I have struggled to find veterinary care that is willing to take the time and put in the work that my girl needs to have the best possible quality of life. Her breed is not easy to work with, this is why I am so grateful to Dr. Sheets and her amazing team. She needed a high risk surgery and they did not try to charge me 4x - 6x what I was quoted at other hospitals. I know that may seem insignificant for some, but for the average family- it can deter getting the help they need. They got her in asap and did an incredible job. They kept me informed every step of the way and were very good to her (and me). When they had questions, they called me. Their #1 concern was her… that’s all I could hope for. This place deserves recognition for being a top notch affordable animal hospital. Too many people are turned away or being given estimates for veterinary care that are just plainly inflated. Too many people go without the help they need for their pets and something needs to change. NOW Thank you. They spent a whole 4 minutes with me before rushing to the back with my cat to be Spayed. When I went back in the afternoon to pick up cat, they tried telling me they didnt have a cat with the name i just provided them and i said you better have a cat with that name then it took 20 minutes for them to even FIND MY CAT then another 10 minutes to locate her carrier. They were not nice nor professional at all!!! They were recommended to me and never again will I use them nor will i ever recommend them to Anyone!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: The RUDEST, most IRRESPONSIBLE clinic I've ever seen! I would NEVER take my animal to this clinic considering how rude the staff (Tammy) was to me. I scheduled an appt for a rescue and was quoted $245 for a neuter for a dog that is 26-60lbs. On their website, under the prices tab, it says the neuter is $200 for 26-60lbs. I emailed them to ask about the difference and they got upset with me for asking! They said their website wasn't updated. I go off of what is documented, not what is stated via phone. I expect for what is stated to also be what is documented. Replying to the appointment email, Tammy told me to just get another vet to do the procedure when it was THEIR mistake! She even voluntarily cancelled my appt because I pointed out the price difference! Their clinic has major attitude issues and NO accountability!

Experiencia negativa: I called the clinic on a Wednesday and the recording prompts you to select for spay and neuter. The recording then tells you to leave your information and someone will return your call in a timely manner. I called again on Friday and selected to speak to the front desk. The young lady was very short with me telling me that I had to call the spay neuter line. So I called again and left another message. Normally I would just go on to the next provider that I could find. But from what I understand Dr. Sheets is awesome. So I really wanted to get my dog in with her. I did receive a call back on Tuesday morning but I was in a meeting at work. I called back and left a message that I'd be available the rest of the afternoon, when my lunch was and that I would answer the phone if anyone could call me back today. On Wednesday I called again there was no answer. But my call was returned immediately. The lady on the phone was confused, rude and extremely bossy. This lady tells me her name is Betsy Myers and I need to write it down. We proceed to exchange information about my dog, all my information and their protocol for neuter. I inquired about Vaccines. I let her know my dog (a recent rescue) has had his Rabies vaccine but nothing else. She said okay do you have a pen and paper? I will go through the list and you tell me what you want your dog to have. Write it down! At this point I tell her I have to get back to work and I will need to call back either on my lunch or at the end of the day to finish the discussion. She said that's fine, but your appointment will not be scheduled. It is NOT in the books! Do you understand? Yeah Betsy I understand, customer service is not your strong suit.

Experiencia negativa: I cannot reach anyone. I left phone messages, emails and no one has returned my call. I do not know if this is a walk in clinic or by appointment only. It’s terrible they have no one answering the phones and it’s just an answering machine that says they are too busy to answer the phones and messages left after 3:30 will be returned the following day but I called in the morning, noon and after 3:30. I don’t want to bring my animal up there to have it not seen or sit snd wait hours. This is just poor and unorganized business practices! I wonder if the vet care is any better?

Experiencia negativa: I read all the good reviews and came here for an eyelid mass removal for my dog, the consultation price was expensive but I went through with it anyway because I heard good things. They quoted me 450 dollars for the surgery so I saved the money and got it done, I go to pick up my dog after surgery and they tell me it will be 670 dollars and offer no sort of explanation or help even though I showed them what they sent me. Might as well not even have sent me an estimate. Completely disappointed and won’t be returning.

Experiencia negativa: I was there today. There was six other customers in line that were all frustrated and confused and complaining about being over charged and questioning their bills. I paid and waited an hour just to see my receipt. Once I got it I demanded my money back. The other man got in a heated argument about his bill being paid but still saying credited meaning he over paid and it was credited to his VET account. They refused to pay it back and the “vet” or “manager” kicked him out and told him you need to leave. He was warning everyone there you need to check your bill and make sure you’re not being scammed.

Experiencia negativa: Staff is the absolute rudest people. Only have dealt with them because the rescue group I got my dog from used them. You can stand there all day and either they won't even acknowledge you or if they finally do, they are rude and act bothered they have to talk. The lady at the front (had to deal with her 3x) needs an attitude adjustment or new job. Find a different vet!!!

Experiencia negativa: Got my puppy neutered here few weeks ago on a tue I called to check on him and the lady who answered sound like she had attitude when I said I would like to know how surgery went and told me if there was a problem they would call me. I went to pick him up they just pretty much put him in my arms didn't tell me how he done. My puppy refused to walk and wasn't acting right I called them 2 days later at 10 am left a message never heard anything back I had to call 22 times the next day and finally somebody answered and said that she would ask dr sheets and call me back because I was on the list to be called back! I tried to call them back another 10 times trying to speak with somebody before they closed for the weekend and well needless to say it's been 2 weeks and they still haven't called me back I ended up having to take him else where to be looked at! This was so unprofessional for them to have 2 messages about a concern for a animal they did surgery on and them not call back!

Experiencia negativa: They were my primary vet clinic for all of my cats and dogs for over a decade, and the veterinarian and technicians have never caused me any stress or concern. However due to the continued difficulty in scheduling exams and quite honestly the lacking customer service on the front desk side (long wait to check in and out, standing there without being acknowledged for 15+minutes at a time every time I went there, and feeling like I’m inconveniencing them by being there) I have made the decision to find a different clinic for my family’s needs.

The people are so rude anytime you can talk to someone. They were so accommodating and moved up our appt. and squeezed us in as an emergency spay the same day I called. Sheets pet clinic really pulled through for us! I am a pre-vet college student and was so afraid I wasn’t going to be able to save my cat due to finances but sheets pet clinic charged less than half of what I would have paid at her regular vet, which was more than 3,000 dollars. I want to sincerely thank the entire staff for saving my cats life and giving me reassurance as I cried during check in. I hope you guys really truly understand that the work you are doing is of such importance. Finances should not be the reason an animal doesn’t receive the care they need and sheets pet clinic was the only vet I called that seemed to understand this as well. Thank you so much!!

Experiencia negativa: Please DO NOT bring your rabbits here to get neutered/spayed!! I brought my holland lop rabbit here thinking she was a boy and it’d be easier recovery after reading boys heal faster then the girls, but upon picking up my baby they told me she’s actually a female. Instead of calling me first to tell me they just proceeded with the surgery anyways and she almost died the following day after only giving her “a long lasting pain injection” Like Nathan Clark said I also had to take my baby girl to the emergency vet to save her life after she went into GI stasis from the pain she was in. She wouldn’t eat or drink anything and had no stools. In total I ended up paying a lot more with $200 here for the spay and then $450 at the emergency exotic vet in Raleigh to save her life… almost $700 altogether just like that. The emergency vet also told me that females always need to stay at least 1 day overnight to monitor the females healing and be given proper pain medication and should NEVER be allowed to go home the same day like they did here at this clinic. Sheet clinic did not give me not a single medicine or critical care to take home with me to give my girl for her pain. I could tell the staff and veterinarian here don’t really seem to care either and came off very clueless to proper care for rabbits barely wanting to answer any concerns I had as a first time rabbit owner. They also told me the same thing not to bathe my rabbit and leave inside small carrier for several hours smh.. Learned the expensive hard way what’s cheap can turn out to be more expensive and stressful.. Cheap is not worth your babies life. So please give your rabbit/s the kindness of just going to a rabbit savy exotic vet and giving yourself peace of mind that they will be safe and cared for.

Experiencia negativa: Overall horrible experience! I had to call several times and no one answered the phones or returned calls promptly and that should’ve been my 1st red flag. I had 4 kittens that needed to be spayed. We made appointments for them which unfortunately were on different days but that’s all they had available so we took what we could get. One kitten was to be spayed on a Thursday, 2 on Friday and then one on the following Monday. The surgery on the Thursday went well with check in. However, when I came to pick the kitten up, they could not find her in the back they brought out two carriers and asked me if either of those were mine. They were not. This should’ve been my second red flag. I was deeply upset that they potentially lost my cat in my cat carrier. And couldn’t find her in the back. she just had surgery so I guess she wasn’t being monitored? The next day (on that Friday) I brought in the next two kittens to be spayed. I was the very first person at the door. I even beat most of the staff coming in. my husband and I had to go somewhere that day and we were several hours away but the pick up time wasn’t until 5 PM so we were going to get back in plenty of time. we got a call around 12:30pm telling us to come pick up. They were closing in 30 minutes. I had to scramble to find someone who could come and get my cats because there’s no way we could’ve made it back in that amount of time. they didn’t do the surgery because they were closing the clinic to attend a funeral. I was absolutely appalled that they even allowed us to bring in our cats that day if they weren’t going to do the surgeries. We live an HOUR away from the clinic so I had to stress my kitties out for an hour car ride there and an hour back home in addition to them sitting in their carriers for absolutely NO REASON. Funerals don’t just happen Spur of the moment and I know grieving is Very important but there should’ve been proper planning. And as someone who works in the human medical field and has had to miss lots of funerals and birthdays and important events because I have a commitment to my patience, I found this TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! The phone conversation I had with the man who works at the clinic left much to be desired, there was no apology, There was no explanation as to what happened or why they didn’t get their surgery. It was basically like they just didn’t want to do the surgery so they just didn’t. I was told to bring both of those kittens and the fourth kitten back on the next Monday and they would be spayed then. This is when the final straw was drawn for me. The fourth kitten has a singular claw on both front paws that do not retract and splay outwards. I was worried that these claws would pose a safety issue for her as they are able to get caught on things. To prevent her from potential future injury I asked several times if they would remove those claws while she was under sedation. Multiple times I was told that they had checked with the vet in the surgeon and that they had got the go ahead to do this. checked in that day, they made sure to write it on the surgical paperwork that they took back to the surgeon. When I came to pick her up, they were totaling the charges and something told me to ask about her claws. what do you know, they didn’t do it. At this point I was extremely angry and upset. I was told that I would be allowed to speak with Dr. sheets. They took me back in the room and Dr. sheets basically explained to me that she just thought that I was stupid and didn’t know what I was talking about. She said that she thought that because people have dogs that have dewclaws and they asked to get their dogs dewclaws removed that I thought cats had to dewclaw to. It’s like she didn’t even look at the cats paws to see the obvious issue and instead decided that I was just a total idiot and then she blamed lack of communication. I will NEVER USE THIS VET CLINIC AGAIN and I warn everyone else about this place too. They have very dangerous practices and poor customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is just so amazing i dont even know where to start tbh theyve always been there for me and my animals they rescued/found one of my long lost cats and reunited him with me they helped out after we took in a pregnant momma cat who birthed one baby boy kitten and also helped out with that baby kitten when momma wasnt so nice to him and just recently saved our dobies life i cant give this place enough praise and good reviews and the women that work here are just amazing kind hearted people

Experiencia fantástica: They have taken care of both of my sweet darling cats by nuetering and vaccinating as well as chipping. They have a very simplified procedure as they handle many many spay/nueter per day. They have very reduced price from a regular vet. I have been very happy with the results and I feel they do a good job here. I'm thankful for making care for stray cats who need a home affordable. They give the cats cute belly tattoos as well as low cost microchips and disease testing. Also they open early and close late to make it possible for a working person to work with them on the scheduling which I appreciate.

Experiencia negativa: MINUS FIVE STARS OR five great. big. ZEROS. Sheets Pet Clinic needs to: - hire another full time vet, - OR schedule far fewer appointments/surgeries, - OR stop scheduling "dropoffs", - AND definitely install a phone system that is user-friendly and designate an employee to monitor that system throughout the day and return messages in a TIMELY MANNER. Positive Customer Service makes all the difference. I left two messages the week of August 15th, requesting a new patient appointment for my cat, Brian. He needed Rabies and FVRC vacs, plus blood drawn for a wellness check. All I could get was a "dropoff" appt. on Thurs., Aug. 24; I was instructed by the male employee, who finally returned my calls, to "drop him off at 7:30 am and pick up at 5 pm." When I got to Sheets at 7:20 am on 8/24 there was already a line forming at the door. It took 15+ minutes to get to the front desk and check him in. I told "Tammy" what Brian was there for, as a new patient. I also clearly explained to her that I was going to a funeral in Durham at 11 am but would be back home at 2 pm, and gave her my daughter's cell # in case of an emergency before my return. I was home by 1:30 pm. My daughter called me at 2:54 pm, to let me know Sheets called her at that time and left a message that "they were having a problem with Brian and needed permission to tranquilize him." Sheets never ever called me. I immediately called Sheets back SIX TIMES, trying to get through its awful, horrific, useless phone system and finally left a message at 3:10 pm on the option that states no messages would be returned until THE NEXT DAY if left after 3:30 pm. No return call. Arrived at 5 pm to pick up my cat, not having any idea what happened after I left him there, in his carrier, that morning. - What was "the problem they were having with" my boy? - Did he get his vacs? - Was blood ever drawn and tests done? - Did he SPEND THAT LONG DAY IN HIS CARRIER, without water, because they scheduled so many surgeries and the vet had X numbers of office appointments? All I got was excuses from "Yvonne" about how busy the doctor was (see above). AND she couldn't answer a single question I had because she didn't "see anything in the (computer) system" about my cat. So I asked her to bring him to me, send me a bill for any charges, and left, finally, at 6 pm. I did get a call from "Yvonne" the next day, but it was just a repeat of what she said the day before when I picked up Brian. And she STILL couldn't tell me if anything was done for him. Surprisingly I also didn't receive an apology. From anyone. I wouldn't take Brian or my other pets to Sheets Pet Clinic under any circumstances now. And, in my opinion, and you shouldn't either. It's a matter of trust.

Experiencia fantástica: Had to bring my German Shepherd here after an emergency. We were already familiar with Sheets as our other dogs have been there for routine care. Dr. B did an amazing job saving and stitching my dogs foot. All around great service from everyone in the building. Follow-up care has been great as well. I wish I could rate them higher! By far the best pet care team I've seen.

Experiencia fantástica: Sheets is truly a vet that cares. There actions and prices reflect this deeply. I have been going for some years now. I am always happy and never dissatisfied. I called when my cat was severely sick and they took him in despite how busy they were. He would have died if it weren't for them and their quick action. The percedure and over all cost I would have been buried by at many other clinics. But sheets was fair. And made the price manageable to afford for such an extensive procedure. Over a year later he is still doing amazing. Thank you Sheets for everything you have done and will continue to do.

Experiencia negativa: We've used this vet for approximately 20 years. For probably the last 5 years I have tolerated unanswered phone calls and unreturned messages because we were happy with the care that our many pets received. In the last week we have been turned away twice with extremely rude behavior. Do yourself a favor and find another vet who cares. When your pet is very sick this is definitely the compassionate treatment your pet and you deserve.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve never met a vet + vet office that has made me feel like they care less than Pets Smart. I tell them my dog has been having stomach problem for weeks, and recent stool problems** (leaving it clean) and there was no discussion of what could be wrong, or what could help going forward. No probiotic/antibiotic discussion (i forget which one it is) and no general feedback. A week later I get a phone call saying they’ve lost my dog’s blood work…??? How does that happen? I’ve never heard of that before. We requested blood work so we can give his teeth a deep clean. I am just disappointed. The people up front are like yin and yang: one is nice, and the other one is the most judgmental and unhelpful person I’ve come across in customer service. You don’t need to give clients an attitude when they are confirming information, you don’t need to give them a stanky eye when you don’t understand how to do your job, and you don’t get paid more by being rude to people with accents you’re too impatient to understand. I hope management knows exactly who I am talking about because just by her LOOKS you can tell she hates you. After taking my dog to Animal Medical Center of GSO, everything was addressed properly, carried out professionally, and NOW my dog is feeling better. This Vet made no attempt to keep my dog comfortable and healthy, but was glad to charge money for services they failed to carry out fully.

Experiencia fantástica: We took our bunny there to be neutered. After 1.5-hour driving from south Charlotte, we were a bit concerned after seeing the 60' wide clinic (located at a semi industrial zone). However, while we waited for the clinic to open, a line of pet owners started to form, including others with pet rabbits. The popularity of the clinic put us at ease. We got our bunny back after ~6-hour. The drug effects wore off after 1 day. He is back to his normal self now. Very reasonable fee, great service, worth the drive.

Experiencia positiva: Dropped off my female rabbit for a spay. Drop off was quick and easy. However, my rabbit came home with only a single long-acting pain injection, and female rabbits require much more than this to manage their pain. She would not eat or drink because of the pain and went into GI Stasis. After being brought to a proper exotics clinic and receiving necessary critical care food and pain medicine, she is doing much better. Actual surgery was done properly, incision area was clean and its obvious she was treated with care. It was very clear at checkout that most of the staff have very little knowledge of rabbit care, as the only things I was advised for aftercare was to not bathe the rabbit and leave it inside the carrier for several hours. It is very nice they accept vouchers from the shelter, however I ended up paying nearly 300 dollars for GI Stasis treatment which is how much it would have been for a spay at an exotics clinic anyway, with medicine and aftercare included. It is probably in your best interest to just pay the money for an exotics vet to fix your rabbit, as you will not be given the means to manage their pain at home. Excellent place for fixing your cats and dogs at an affordable price, not worth the stress on you and your rabbit.

Experiencia negativa: I used to take all of my cats to this place but in the past few years they’ve gone extremely downhill. I guess they have too many patients for their staff volume and capacity. Took my senior kitty in for a check up and rabies vac update, they didn’t let me go back with her and the vet came out, quickly mentioned that something was wrong with her thyroid and kidneys then LEFT. Continued to call for weeks, only one call was ever answered, they said the vet was unavailable and would email the results, they never did. My new vet tried to call them to get my cat’s records and they didn’t answer. I believe the staff means well but they’ve definitely bit off more than they could chew.

Experiencia fantástica: LOW COST spay and neuter clinic. They were able to take us in right away. Our kitten got fixed. They even flea mediated her and clipped her nails. She's great. They are great staff. Very good at what they do and efficient.

Experiencia negativa: I went with 2 stars because it's 5-stars for the vet and 1-star for the office staff experience. I really wanted things to work out here with our puppy. We had used Banfield before and I didn't like how I'd have to drop my dog off and leave her there for the entire day for any visit. When we got a new puppy, I went to Sheets based on a recommendation. The doctor was a 10...she was patient, kind, helpful...everything you'd want. The problem is the admin side. Among other things, they simply WILL NOT answer the phone. The groomer who works there told me that customers call the grooming number all the time because staff will not answer the phone. When you call, you'll hear a voicemail that describes how their menu was updated in Feb 2021 (2 years ago) and after it rings with no answer, you're invited to leave a message where you hear that you'll hear from staff within "a couple of hours." In my three visits and multiplied phone calls, I never experienced that. I'd call, leave a message...wait until the next day...still not hear anything and keep calling and calling and calling until apparently lightning struck and someone finally answered the phone. The check-in process was brutally slow. My first visit, I waited 20 minutes from the time I arrived, with one person in front of me, before I was finally waited on. I know how long it was because I was paying attention to my watch. Finally, I pulled a chair over to sit in front of the desk. Staff never made eye contact with me, apologized for the wait...nothing. The second visit I scheduled at the conclusion of the first. I put the appointment in my Google calendar also. The day before the appointment, I received a text confirming the time that I was told and that I put in my phone. When my wife arrived for the time of the appointment that THEY SET, she was told she was 30 minutes early because the appointment was scheduled for later. When she told/showed staff the text THEY sent, she was told simply that the message wasn't right and how she was in error. This was not true and their own text proved it, but they didn't even offer a simple apology for the mix-up. Like I said the vet was great. I wanted to use her, but the office was so poorly run, I had to make a change after 3-visits. I hope my experience was the exception and if you go, I hope your experience is far better.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place to take your dog. Every single time I call to make an appointment it takes them a week to call back to actually set the appointment. When they do finally call you back they always try to add in random services that aren’t needed and then when confronted she acted like she just made a mistake and was reading something else. Then today I have my dogs appointment I was asked to take my dog and wait in the car because another dog was excited and shaking mind you it was pouring down rain. Do Not take your pets here. Take them somewhere where they are actually taken care of and handled with care.

Experiencia positiva: Actual spay was fine but the billing system is extremely screwed up. I was quoted $140 for a spay over the phone and then confirmed it again when I showed up. When I picked up my dog the price has increased to $205. When questioned I was shown the sign that prices can increase without notice. I understand the cost of things have gone up but it’s wrong not to inform the customer. When I asked why I was given the wrong price in the morning at drop off I was told I have to understand mornings are hectic. I also opted to get cones for my babies and paid for them only for them to forget to give them to me and I had to turn around and drive back to go get them. Then they told me to put them on at home and they were too small. My babies can reach past the cone and lick their stitches so they cones were a waste and now I still have to buy new ones. The person could not figure out how to do a split payment so I had to use only my card because I didn’t have all day. Update: went back to talk with the owner, the actual vet was great just the front desk staff the sucked. She ended up fixing the issues for me.

Experiencia negativa: -10 stars!!! Warning!!! I went to pick up my sweet awesome loving boy Angel from his simple neuter procedure and when they gave me his carrier, he was dead Inside of it, and they did not even know it!!!! Dr. Sheets was right there talking to us and she did not even know until I asked her to look at him. When she opened the cage she noticed he was dead and tried to resuscitate him as my husband and I broke down hysterically in tears. She came back to say "I could not save him, he was already getting stiff which means he's been dead for a while" Feeling devistated and knumb, I asked through my sobbing tears "why wasn't someone watching him recover?" She said "we can't possibly watch 30+ cats". Isn't that what I am paying for?! Be warned! They are under staffed and have battle fatigue with the huge number of cats being fixed. I will never bring my fur babies there again. They have made many mistakes throughout the years. They have administered the cancer causing rabies vax after I specifically asked to make sure they give my cat the Pur Vax, they mixed up several of my cats charts putting wrong names with wrong color cats, wrong genders, wrong weights, and even the diagnosis multiple times causing me to go back 3+ times, causing my cats a lot of stress and me a ton of money. I've had them tell me they can't find my cats charts multiple times and much more, but this beats all those mistakes by a long shot! This is beyond a "mistake" it is pure negligence, not caring about the animals, and greed. If you don't have the staff to watch the cats after surgery, reduce the number if cats you fix daily. Since my terrible loss, I've heard other sad stories about Sheets. Watch out and do not let this happen to your sweet cats if you love them.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Fidele Byungura was fantastic. He spayed my 150 lb 5 year old dog. He was great with her before the surgery. He had enough people lifting her to make sure she wasn’t hurt. I picked her up the same day. She had a very small scar and tattoo. I can’t say enough good about his well it went.

Experiencia fantástica: For all those animal advocates out there. I have been rescuing cats/dogs all my life. I am 77 years old. I moved to Greensboro, NC about 12 years ago. I would like to give a shout out to nonprofit animal organizations I have found that offer very good services. *Piedmont Animal Rescue - *SPCA of the Triad - *Juliet’s S House Animal Rescue - *Guildford County Animal Resource Center – *Tailless Cat Rescue and I do want to also mention Sheets Pet Clinic; Dr Sheets has been helping animals for years. So, if you are thinking of donating or need some help…I have found these organizations to be very good. There is one organization, "Loving Pet Project", that I will never work with again or donate too. But, all in all, the answer to many of the problems here in the Triad is spaying and neutering. Please spay/neuter and vaccinate all your pets. And, please always contact animal rescues or the Guilford County Animal Resource Center if you find a stray or can’t keep your pet. Never just put it out somewhere thinking it will survive. Sadly, most probably it will not.

Experiencia negativa: This has been the vet for our pets for the past 6 years. Everything went well even during the pandemic time. However, we have noticed in the last 2 months we were having issue to talk to anyone there over the phone. We called and left voice mail and never got any call back. Our pets have chronic condition that require routine check up and medication. We had to go in person just to make appointment. We then had to go in person to wait just hoping my pet is ready. We have decided to change vet due to they charged us $150 for a test, and 4 weeks passed, we did not get any call about the result. We went in person, no one knows what test was done or what the result is, and they refused to issue refund since "the test is most likely done and we will sure call you soon with the result!"... the nothing. The whole clinic feels so unorganized now, I would not be surprised if they hand me someone else' pet when I am there next time. It is sad to see our once favorite vet has gone downhill so much.

Experiencia negativa: I love Dr. Sheets, but over the past year her staff has become very unfriendly, unknowledgeable, and UNCARING! I get it, it’s hard to find decent staff these days, which is why I have been very patient. I tried to get my puppy in for vaccinations which, I don’t have to remind you, are very important. Could not get a timely appointment, which never happened before. The final straw was when I called no less than THREE times to get my puppy’s heart worm as well as flea and tick medications refilled. I never got a call back. I finally placed an order through 1-800-PetMeds, which had to be approved by Sheets Pet Clinic prior to sending out. I literally begged them for three weeks straight to approve this order. That never happened, even though the guy told me “I approved that a week ago”… Liar! At that time, I had already taken my puppy to a different vet for vaccines, but had planned to return to Sheets Pet Clinic after she was fully vaccinated. This vet approved the order within MINUTES of receiving it. Needless to say, I will be taking her and my three other pets to this new vet from here on out. Do better people! You’re giving an excellent Veterinarian a very bad name and reputation!!!

Experiencia negativa: I had my dog spayed in addition to another procedure they recommended at the time of making the appointment that required additional recovery time and meds for my dog. This clinic did not provide a follow up appointment to remove the staples after my dog’s surgery in addition to messing up her discharge medications. I called several days in a row, left copious voicemails, and never received a call back to answer my questions about the meds and staple removal. I had to go to a different vet eventually because Sheets NEVER answered their phone nor did the ever call back. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. The additional expense of a practice that will properly follow up is well worth it. I regret my decision to trust this place with my beloved pup. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you for helping me stop the madness of the cat overpopulation. I had never used Sheets before but have recently taken in 4 cats for spay and they all did great. Sheets pet clinic is a very popular place for such and I'm thankful for their service.
