Experiencia fantástica: BEST CARE IN HENDERSON, LAS VEGAS #1 Dr. Dominic Cacioppo and entire staff at Legacy Animal Hospital are the most knowledgeable, qualified, competent and professional Veterinarian Doctor and support I have ever encountered.I have had my share and not easily impressed. I never write reviews, however, the care and attention my HUGE, Tibetan Mastiff (very true to the breed) my Best Friend, My Protector but Very Dangerous, Must be handled only by very knowledgeable Doctors. Dr. Dominic Cacioppo was there, on a dime both visits, my Guy is not an easy patient to put it mildly. Our visits are only and always emergency. Dr. does what is best for the patient, my dog Dozer was treated with the utmost respect, compassion and most of all understanding, first and foremost. My dog Dozer is a majestic, exotic breed that takes very special care and focus that Dr. Dominic and Staff maintain at all times. “The Magic” that makes it possible. It’s a very delicate balance with my breed of dog. Legacy Animal Hospital sets the bar really high. Also, for services rendered, they are surprisingly very fair and reasonable with prices. The love and knowledge they carry and bestow upon (beautiful brains are hard to find nowadays) to provide the very best care for my family. You are a TRUE GEM !!! He needed vaccines and to be neutered, we had a rough first visit but Erica and Dr. Bower quickly fixed that. They worked with us to get our dog on track! Thank you! Godzilla thanks you! Tip... if you are nice to the front desk they will help you!! Please be nice. Update... since we had such a great experience with our younger dog, we took our senior poodle mix to see Dr. Bower. She usually cries and gives techs a hard time with nail trims.. but not this time. They are efficient and on time. I highly recommend legacy animal hospital to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Bower's repour with my very neurotic Border Collie was excellent. The dental procedure was more intense than expected. Henry wasn't to shaken up. The cost of the procedure wasn't cheap but very reasonable. By what I see the work was GREAT! The dog is recovering fast.

Experiencia fantástica: Legacy animal hospital was a top recommendation when I first moved to Las Vegas. I dont even live near them and still decide to use them as my pups vet. Dr. Bower is fantastic, always makes sure my questions are answered before I leave and is so great with animals. The staff there is incredibly helpful too, I once took my pup in for something unplanned and they noticed right away that he needed to be watched closer. I'll recommend Legacy animal hospital to anyone and everyone, I am very pleased with the car my pup receives and the way they're able to communicate so well.

The Doctors assistant and Doctor Dominic Cacioppo were very friendly and helpful as well as all of the staff. I will highly recommend them to everyone I know.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been taking my dog here for 2+ years. They’re busy and their waiting room is a bit small, but the service is good. Vet techs are knowledgeable and I like all the providers my dog has seen thus far. Again, busy place, but I’m never in a rush when I go and my dog can sit without having a melt down. The most important thing is that they’re very sweet and patient with my dog.

Not only were they just down the street, but they have some of the most incredible Vets and Assistants. I highly recommend Dr. Cacioppo and his assistant Lexi! My little guy needed a check-up with some dental work, and they both took care of him so well! I am blessed to say that I have found some amazing professionals to take care of my babies. Experiencia fantástica: We absolutely LOVE Legacy Animal Hospital! Dr. Bower has worked with our 5-1/2 year old lab mix since we adopted her at 9 weeks. Most recently she had a growth on one of her anul glands, which turned out to be a benign cyst. We were so worried about her and the required antibiotics gave her terrible diarrhea. Legacy Animal Hospital was there for us the whole time. They called for follow-up. Dr. Bower called himself when the test results came back - what a relief. And they helped us with medication to get her gut back to normal. I couldn't ask for anything more. The staff is knowledgeable, responsive and caring. A++

Experiencia fantástica: So Far, So Good! I recently made the move to Legacy Animal Hospital from another Veterinarian ... who just doesn't seem to "care" anymore! I'm so glad I did! Extremely professional place; with all the necessary equipment to care for animals. Staff is friendly and everyone seems Very Caring. They took time to listen to me; they allowed me explain the "quirks" of my pup's personality and needs ... and then they Actually Accommodated my Requests!! As a new patient, my "boy" needed a bit of surgery - nothing too major .... Dr. Bower and his Staff took Fantastic care of him and .... Called me the next day to check on him; asked me if I had any questions; and made sure I understood medication instructions!!! Folks this is my 5th dog ... I have NEVER had any Veterinarian call me to follow up on, Not One of, them after a surgery!! I can absolutely recommend Legacy Animal Hospital!

Experiencia fantástica: My 14 year old chihuahua had a bout of pancreatitis two weeks before Christmas and took her some time to get back to feeling good. Dr. Anderson, Dr. Cacioppo and staff were able to see us even though they had busy schedules, they gave Lola good care, calmed my nerves and they always called to check on how Lola was doing. I really appreciate all of this especially days before Christmas when life is so busy.

Experiencia fantástica: This animal hospital has the friendliest staff and workers there. The doctors always have a smile on their faces. My dog loves going there, She likes Dr. Bowers. Everyone there does a great job with the animals and the people that go in with their animals are treated with respect. The office is always clean. The prices have been getting very expensive lately and keep going up. It's really sad because you can't even take your animal any where any more without being charged an unreasonable price for their care. Just to see the doctor is almost $62.00 Just a heads up they take care of reptiles as well if you have a turtle or tortoise Lizard snake Whichever they take good care of Them as well. They took good care of Rafael. He’s got a respiratory infection. He is in the house being well taken care of someone. We now gave him to us and didn’t realize that he was sick but we will get him better. Thanks to the new Reptile doctor, Over at Legacy Animal Hospital, where they do take care of your Animals,. Thank you. For all your hard work that you do to take care of our animals thanks again.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a wonderful veterinarian service. We picked it for the location and stayed because of the people. From the office staff to the veterinarians we felt everyone really liked their jobs and were sincerely concerned about our cat. ‍⬛ They really pay attention. If they’re busy they answer the phone , “ Legacy Animal Hospital. This is so-and-so. Is this an emergency, or may I put you on hold?” Then they wait for a response . What a shock! We’ve all had the experience of someone speed talking and then placing us on hold with no response on our end. I think this is indicative of the time and effort the hospital has put in to customer service. But most importantly they took care of our 16 yr old cat properly and he is 100% better.

Experiencia fantástica: Had to take my Golden in for a Eye Issue. Since this was a last minute appt, we didnt see our normal Vet, but got Dr. Cacioppo. Glad I did. Hes as nice as Dr Brower and seemed generally as concerned with Rex's health. Suggesting to check out another possible cause for the Issue. He also sat and chatted for a few minutes which I greatly appreciated. Its nice to get to know who's treating your furbabies ❤️. Thank Dr. "C".

She chews the pills without any problems except I have to teak them into quarters and she chews them on her own without having to use cheese or peanut butter. Normally avian doctors are very expensive and they were able to take my bird for a reasonable rate. The staff was super friendly and professional and the place is clean and smells nice. Experiencia fantástica: I to thank the doctors at this hospital for their honesty. My beautiful senior dog had a splenic tumor that was very risky to remove with surgery. With the help of an ultrasound & bloodwork they were honest about his health & how surgery wouldn’t have saved the life of my pup. He now crossed the rainbow bridge without pain or suffering. I’m sure other hospitals would’ve remove to splenic mass without saving my dog’s life. Realistic expectations about your dog’s health are the priority at this hospital. Thank you

Experiencia negativa: This was probably the worst experience I’ve had at a vet. My dogs both have high anxiety and do not get along with other dogs. I always make sure to let any vet know before arriving of this and ask about their abilities to handle this since the last thing I want is for my dogs to have a bad experience. I did the same here with Legacy. I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment time as a new patient and I wasn’t addressed until 20 mins later when I was told I’d need to fill out the paperwork in the lobby an it would need to be put in the system before I could go back. I did so, and then requested if they could get me from my car when they were ready for me since dogs were coming in and out, the waiting room was small, and it was making my dogs rowdy and unsettled. She let me know she was sorry that no one told me to arrive 15 minutes prior, which yeah that sucked, but I guess wouldn’t have made a difference since no one got me for 45 mins. I was finally taken back, and put in a room. A vet tech came in the room and asked me what we were being seen for (confusing since I told them on the phone and also put it on the paperwork) I let her know the reason for our visit. Without talking to my dogs, attempting to pet them, anything that would be considered common practice for normal pets and even more so with pets who have anxiety and who are new patients, she followed my smallest dog Beans onto the chair he ran onto and approached him with the stethoscope towering over him. He was calm at first but when she proceeded without any attempts to introduce herself, he then barked several times at her and growled. She jumped back and started exclaiming she was done and she was leaving. I reminded her my dogs haven’t bit anyone and that he simply felt cornered. She said “there’s always a first for everything” and left. Next a doctor came in, made no attempt to introduce himself to my dogs and then attempted to put a lead around my other dog, Pickle’s, neck. I had to stop him and let him know my hesitation due to the inexperience of the vet tech that had come in. My dogs were calm and friendly with him, yet, he kept stating that Beans was hyperactive and he needed to take them to the back one by one, without me present, to treat them. I took a minute to think about it and then decided to leave. Having 2 rescue dogs with high anxiety both, especially at vets. I have never had an experience with inexperienced vet techs or doctors. When I let people know my dogs have anxiety, they simply take the extra 2 mins to greet them and give them a treat, letting them know that they are friends, and then proceed with treatment without issue. I have never seen my dogs that afraid, barking so much, or so uneasy at any vet appointment. But I guess I’ve just had better vets in the past. I frequently work with dogs. I rescue, and I work with strays that have aggression and a severe reactive nature. My dogs are not that. It takes nothing but an extra 2 minutes to calmly introduce yourself by calling them by their names and giving them a treat. I’m not sure why they treated my dogs this way. The reviews I’ve read have not stated the same, but I’m disappointed and disturbed at this experience. I would not recommend. I’ve never had this type of treatment towards my dogs before.

Dr Bowers took the time to go over Doc and Katie's medical background and gave us valuable information to assure our fur babies had the best of care. Blood tests resulted were explained over the phone by Dr Bowers and follow up care was given. We are pleased with Dr Bowers and his kind and caring medical staf, front desk and vet techs. We like Dr Bowers for his caring, professional persona and ww highly recommend Legacy Animal Hospital. Btw, we travel from Az and want the best care for our "kids" only downside is they don't accept pet insurance but told us they would provide any info our insurance carrier needs. I believe this helps to keep their costs down. I appreciate this.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely one of the best vet experiences I’ve had with my hound, Alice. She required oral surgery (lumpectomy). Not only was Legacy more cost effective than anywhere else, but Dr. Bower did not up-sell me a bunch of unnecessary procedures to accomplish outstanding results. Everything was explained in simple terms. Alice’s recovery has been great; as if she never had surgery at all. I will be bringing my other dog here now. We live in Summerlin but the drive to Henderson is well worth the trip. I highly recommend them and if you are a military veteran, be prepared for their appreciation for your service!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Cacioppo is the best! I have a pet duck who is really sick and he took his time explaining how to help him with the materials I had at my disposal. He drew me a diagram for Uriel's frame because I'm a visual learner. He made sure to ask if I understood and was willing to go over the information again until it made sense. He was efficient but he takes his time with you. You won't feel rushed. He has a true love for animals and his assistant Lexie is Uriel's favorite person to go see. If you want someone who cares about your pet and sees them as family not just another medical case, then give them the best veteran Dr. Cacioppo.

Experiencia fantástica: My 13 yr tabby broke his femur. Dr. Bauer sat with me to explain what I needed to know before I decide on the next step. Once surgery was decided, I then received a phone call from the surgeon. Dr. Olson was so very nice and walked me through step by step on how to fix his leg. Also because this happened a few days from tax day, money was very tight. Dr. Bauer still scheduled the surgery and allowed a plan for me. Both doctors are rated a 10 in my book and the ofc staff is professional and nice.

Experiencia fantástica: We are new to Legacy. Dr and staff are very nice. I can tell they do their very best to treat our pets with tenderness and care. The only downside is lack of room. They have two sides: one for cats and the other for dogs. The dog side is "trafficky" if you feel me! It's nice ro actually see and talk to the doctor one-on-one. Most of the vets in Henderson have gone corporate so say goodbye to face time with doctor or getting your pets to be seen by the same doctor anymore. We appreciate Legacy 10/10, 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They had a cancelation the following day for a dental and offered me the spot. Procedure went well and I was kept up to date the whole time. Very happy with our transfer to Legacy!

Upon trying to find a vet for my beardie, I was referred several times to another area hospital but could not get through on any occasion and when I did they would fail to return call etc. I ended up calling Legacy and they were able to squeeze me in and from the moment I stepped in the door until I picked up my reptile it was an excellent experience. The front office are absolutely amazing and have the greatest attitudes and attentiveness. Now Dr C. was amazing with my beardie Kiwi. He debunked a lot of what the pet store was telling me and took excellent care of her. I am grateful to the entire staff including Dr. C's assistant that made it a great experience. Thank you all and a side note Kiwi eye is all better now. I highly recommend this place especially if you have a reptile.

Since then, Bamsi has learned so much each day, 2-4 sessions per day. Repetition by tasks, Going for a Walk, basic needs with Lots of TLC Always! She learned Kisses & Hugs vs Chewing or Biting...Such a Smart Partner for Life!

Experiencia negativa: We brought our dog in January for teeth, cleaning and spent over a $1000 to have the blood worked on some teeth removed and a supposed cleaning.. Two months later I was told by our groomer that it looked like our dog's teeth hadn't been cleaned in over a year.

Experiencia fantástica: So far, this has been an excellent experience. Legacy is fantastic. Dr. Bowers has been compassionate, caring and is direct with you. I have not met the other 2 vets there but I am sure they are great just as well. The Dr. assistant’s and the front office staff are equally as great. Very efficient and organized. Glad to have chosen this animal hospital and will continue to bring my cavies here.

Dr Bower and his team are super professional and efficient problem-solvers, in addition to their empathy and understanding. Their pricing is very fair and transparent. Above all, this is the first and ONLY vet experience that our fur babies are not freaked out about. While waiting in close proximity with other dogs, they were actually calm- which had never happened before ever. We are very blessed to be able to find such a great team to trust our fur babies with.

Experiencia fantástica: I only have wonderful things to say about Legacy, Dr. Bower, and all of the staff there. I had to make the very hard decision to amputate my pups front leg after his third leg break on the same leg. I reached out to several vets in the area but went with my gut and took my dog to Legacy. My dogs injury happened during Christmas/New Years week and Dr. Bower came in on a day he was supposed to have off to handle my dogs amputation surgery because he said he didn't want my little dog to suffer any longer. Due to some complications with my dogs liver, he had to stay three extra nights at the hospital and Dr. Bower did not charge us for those nights since it was his request to keep him extra days. The compassion I was showed from every staff member I interacted with there makes me tear up to even think about hahah. My tripawd is already hopping around again thanks to Legacy <3

Experiencia negativa: So many great reviews, I really wish that this was our experience at Legacy Animal Hospital. We took our 12-year-old chihuahua here on Dec 23rd after discovering a large mass on his side. We have had a difficult time finding quality vet service in the area, so we thought we’d try this place because of the great reviews. We saw Dr Bower whom we found to be unkind and condescending. After initially telling us that our dog had a hernia, he took some X-Rays and bloodwork. He then informed us, almost excitedly, that our dog actually had a tumor. He discouraged us from having it removed, because he said it often ruptures and older dogs like ours just die under anesthesia. I had to ask him if it was cancer, and he said yes with a confusing level of certainty given that we hadn’t done a biopsy. He then left me crying while he checked on his bloodwork, which he seemed surprised to report looked good besides some mild anemia. While trying to ask him questions about options, he opened the door we came in and basically shewed us out. When we didn’t get up right away, he just walked out the door, wished us a Merry Christmas, and left. I have never been treated so poorly at a vet’s office in my life. He also badmouthed the other clinics in the area that we took our dog to, which we found to be pretty unprofessional. The front desk people were not kind either. Everyone, besides the vet tech we saw, showed us zero empathy. We have 4 pets, and we don’t mind spending money to make sure that they are healthy, happy, and comfortable. This was a truly heartbreaking experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I have a Ferrell Cat. I rescued the cat so the Coyotes would not kill it. I've not had the cat for almost 2 years. Took him Legacy Veterinarian Hospital and I will say this , THE BEST. He got his second Rabie Shot, Lab Work , Nails Trimmed and Groomed. I'm so glad I went to this Veterinarian Hospital because this cat needed everything they did . He now looks like a little kitten and im glad he has no more mats on him either. Experiencia positiva: Picked vet for closeness to the house. Overall experience is good. Vet seems to be experienced and is reasonably priced. Both times I waited for 30 minutes in exam room which is my one complaint.

Experiencia fantástica: My words are not enough to say how amazing the staff is at Legacy. They have done two different surgeries on my 15 year old dog that my old vet said couldn’t be done due to age which was heartbreaking because he was in pain. Dr. Bower did an amazing job and called me himself to let me know what was going on each time which to me shows the care and concern he has for his fur patients and their fur parents. The staff is just as caring . I definitely won’t be going anywhere else. When I received the bill for the surgeries I couldn’t believe it. I actually said both times wait that’s it, because I thought they were going to several hundreds more. They are so reasonable on their pricing. If you are looking for a vet that you can fully trust and that has wonderful staffing please take them to Legacy!!!!!! Thank you Dr. Bower and everyone at Legacy for taking such wonderful care of Chico!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Posted some pics of the past 3 years of pure joy and mischief thanks to Legacy. Adobo, was 1 of 2 Parvovirus survivors in a full litter. He was a very sick little man and the runt of the two. His odds of survival were heavily stacked against him but thanks to the skilled Veterinary care and staff at Legacy he pulled through and is now thriving. Thank you for pointing me in the correct direction to adopt him and brightening up my life on a daily basis.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my cat in for her ears and a weight concern. The front office staff were very quick to check us in and were friendly. I love the relaxed environment & clean rooms. The wait was about 20 minutes. We saw Dr. Bower and he was very kind and listened to my concerns. We left with an ear medication & prescription for a new food. I was very pleased with the service at Legacy Animal Hospital.
