Experiencia negativa: Had a mass removed from my do and had him ok neutered at the same time. And they left some of the stitches in. I noticed over a month later. Very poor service we received from Craig Road Animal Hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: Our first visit to this emergency vet was about an hour before closing after our cat, Pilot, got into a fight. We were understandably stressed, but Dr. Cooper and his assistant were incredibly friendly and genuinely caring from the moment we walked in. They treated Pilot with such compassion and made us feel reassured the entire time. I especially appreciated that they have a separate area specifically for cats. It made the environment feel calmer and much less overwhelming for him. On top of the excellent care, the costs were extremely affordable, which was such a relief during an unexpected emergency. This experience absolutely influenced our decision to switch our cats’ care here going forward. We’re so grateful for the kindness and professionalism we received.

Experiencia negativa: I got my puppy neutered today at Craig road animal hospital. When I scheduled the appointment I was quoted $140 for the neuter for a dog under 40lbs. I was dropping him off on the way to work which I thought would be quick but I waited for 45 minutes. Since I was rushing to get to work when I was shown the estimate it was pointed out that two baby teeth should be removed to avoid issues in the future. I agreed to that because it made sense. After picking up and paying I realized I paid $210 for the neuter because I got their silver option. Not at anytime during the call the estimate or any other time was I told there are option levels to the neuter. I was told I could have got the bronze option and it would have been $140. I was never shown or told about the bronze option. I asked what I got extra with the silver and was told I got the $13 pain meds for free and laser treatment after the surgery. I asked how much the laser treatment was separate from the package normally and I was told they don’t know because the computer wasn’t loading. Overall my dog seems fine and maybe I would have even opted for the silver but the fact that it was never even mentioned is wrong and dirty sales tactics. I didn’t expect that from a vet but now I know to not trust this vet. I never write reviews but this felt like I had to let people know about these shady practices

Experiencia negativa: Last time we will be going to this Vet. Besides to get our female Shih Tzu's stitches removed, we will never be coming here again. We never had a problem before today, however what they did today was just absolutely unacceptable and they have completely lost our trust. We scheduled our 1.6 year old female Shih Tzu to get spayed after her first real heat cycle, which was about a month prior. Our appointment was for 0715 in the morning. The staff at Craig Road Animal Hospital asked us to fast our dog starting at 9pm the night before her surgery, which is fine. What wasn't fine, is her day of surgery. We showed up at 0700 am for her appointment and they took her in and we left. We recieved a text message from the Vet saying something along the lines of "we are now PREPPING for her surgery," at 1:30 IN THE AFTERNOON. Then about an hour or so later we were notified that she would be ready to be picked up around 5:30pm. We arrived to pick her up just before 5:30pm and when they brought her out to us, she smelled intensely of urine. The lady who brought her out to us, said perhaps it was the dirty laundry smell from the kennel area. We then asked if she had been fed or watered at all today and she said no, not at all. We grabbed her, and began to get her situated in our vehicle. She didn't just smell like urine, but she was SOAKED in her own urine. She was also extremely dehydrated and very hungry. We got home and her hair was knotted into the bandana keeping the cone on her head. I immediately undid the knot and carefully tied it back where it wasnt pulling her hair. At this time, she was also panting really hard, having labored breathing (presumably from the medication) and drooling from dehydration. Why have our dog fast if you will not feed her for around 24 hours? And our dog is very well potty trained, for her to pee herself, she must have been kept in the kennel all day without being offered relief. We have never had an issue with this Vet, however, after she gets her stitches removed, we will not be coming back nor recommending this location to anyone else.

Experiencia negativa: This place is terrible. They 100% do NOT care about pets and their families. You can tell they are money hungry. We took our puppy in for an emergency dog attack. Their first assessment is that they had to TAKE HER EYE OUT! When we denied them doing that they kept pushing sutures over the eye and kept pushing her eye removal. All they said was she has no sight and they had to do it and no matter where we went they would say the same thing. WRONG. We left and went to a pet ER and they said she needed eye drops!

Experiencia negativa: Extremely disappointed with my experience at Craig Road Animal Hospital. To be fair, during our first two or three visits to this clinic, although the waiting time was always very long, I still felt that the doctor—Dr. Lutz—seemed to care about whether the treatment was effective for my dog. Because of that impression, I trusted her. I even recommended this hospital to my sister and suggested she bring her puppy here. Unfortunately, my sister had a terrible experience. The veterinarian who saw her puppy showed no compassion and handled the puppy very roughly. My sister told me afterward that she strongly believed I should never bring my dog back to this hospital. Despite that warning, out of trust in Dr. Lutz specifically, I decided to let her perform a dental cleaning and tooth extractions on my dog. About four years ago, I took my 11-year-old dog to Craig Road Animal Hospital for a dental cleaning. Dr. Lutz recommended cleaning her teeth and removing loose ones. Because of my dog’s age, she clearly told me she would remove no more than 4–5 teeth, and that she would call me first if more extractions were needed. I emphasized this again when I dropped my dog off that morning. The clinic required me to bring my dog in very early and told me the procedure would take approximately 4–8 hours. Throughout the day, I called the clinic several times to check on my dog’s condition, but my concerns were repeatedly brushed off with vague responses. Despite my very clear request to be contacted if additional teeth needed to be removed, I received no phone call, no text message, and no email the entire day. It wasn’t until nearly 4 p.m. that I was told I could come pick up my dog. When I arrived, a nurse handed my dog to me and casually informed me that 12 teeth had been extracted. I was completely shocked and immediately asked why no one had contacted me beforehand. The nurse said she didn’t know. I was then coldly handed a bill for $819, nearly double what I had expected, and was told I needed to pay it to take my dog home. When we got home, I discovered my dog’s mouth was still full of blood. Even worse, when we checked her teeth, we found that some teeth that only had tartar buildup were not properly cleaned at all. It felt as though instead of taking the time to carefully clean difficult teeth, they simply chose to pull them out and charge more—without any real consideration for the fact that my dog was already 11 years old. What angers me the most is not only that they removed 12 teeth without my consent or any prior notification, but also that afterward there was no explanation whatsoever. No discussion, no apology—just a bill pushed in front of me and the implication that if I didn’t pay, I wouldn’t be allowed to take my dog home. That behavior is unacceptable and deeply unethical. I even tried to make sense of what happened by wondering whether Dr. Lutz was not the one who actually performed the dental procedure that day, which might explain why no one called me as promised. But regardless of who was involved, the clinic as a whole completely failed us. I truly feel that my trust was abused, my dog suffered unnecessarily, and she did not receive the proper care she deserved. This experience completely destroyed my trust in Craig Road Animal Hospital and in Dr. Lutz. As a pet owner, communication, respect, and genuine care for animals are the most important things to me, and this hospital failed on all counts. I will never take my dog back here again. Looking back now, Dr. Lutz’s friendly smile feels completely insincere, and she is not someone I believe deserves a pet owner’s trust.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Johnson at Craig road animal hospital veterinarian did an absolute amazing job with my little baby fur baby ADonna Madonna will be 100% grateful for him taking care of her as well as he did. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Johnson and his staff are so kind and compassionate. My cat got sick around Christmas and Dr Johnson fit me into his schedule at the last minute and worked within my very limited budget. Everyone I have interacted with was kind and communicative, even during the couple of days where I felt like I was calling them every hour they never made me feel like a burden. My little guy made a full recovery and I just couldn't be more grateful.❤️

Experiencia negativa: Do not take your pet here. Horrible horrible people , they do not care about animals they did next to nothing. After waiting nearly 3 hours , when told 30 min as the first walk in… doc saw us for 5 min , if that , then disappeared with no after care instructions and no medication. 5 min and two shots - Basically 300 bucks for nada and when called for guidance on after care and meds told to bring her back for more diagnosis aka more money. I understand it’s a business but their behavior makes it very clear the priorities of this vet is not the animals but how much services they can tack on to get the most profit possible. It’s shameful and disgusting. There are much better places to take your pet.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! They will give you an outrageous bill to “keep your pet out of pain” when you decline they will push for euthanasia to get any money they can. Their fridge is full of euthanized pets because they will convince you to euthanize your pet for money!! Hope the owners/ managers have the karma they deserve!

Experiencia positiva: Updating: I am updating my review as we decided to give this vet hospital one more try and decided to take our newest pup here and the past few times we have gotten way better treatment it’s been 2 years since our last dog and could have been the staff or change in protocols and both staff but my pup is doing very well. Hmmm something very iffy with these local Vet/hospitals and Specialty Hospital some kind of commission but they’re pushing and saying your dog is declining and need to be taken to specialty and sedating your pups to make you believe. Man wishing some real Vets who care for animals in their hearts still exist. Be careful, I may be wrong but something is definitely fishy.

Experiencia fantástica: Have been taking my dog there for almost three years and have seen multiple veterinarians there. Dr. Johnson and his nurse Corina have given the best care I have received, probably in all of Las Vegas. These two are very caring and passionate about their work and it shows. They are kind and very professional. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. They are the reason I keep going back. If I'm not seeing them, most of the time I have had a good experience. Sometimes there is a long wait.

Experiencia fantástica: Today was a very sad for me. I had to put one of my fur babies to sleep. The staff at Craig Road Animal Hospital was compassionate and professional. They explained exactly what they were doing and told me what to expect. They didn't try to "up sell" me on other services. They just did what I asked and I appreciated that so much.

Experiencia negativa: Vet and techs were or seemed nice, but the receptionist on the other hand made me never want to come back, I have trouble hearing so when I say I can’t hear you I don’t mean for you to literally yell at me in a sarcastic rudely manner. Also do not know why they charge you a fee to read the x Ray exams, I feel that should be part of the x Ray exam…Probably won’t be back…

Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend this veterinary clinic. My experience felt rushed and impersonal it seemed like they were more focused on procedures than truly helping my dog. Three different staff members came in with conflicting information, and then they told me my puppy was in pain and should be put down. The only reason I brought him in was because I suspected he may have eaten a bone that upset his stomach. Before I could even make a decision, they had already shaved his leg and placed a catheter, preparing for euthanasia. I had to firmly ask them to stop and return my dog. Another staff member even tried to convince me that taking him home would be a mistake. I stood my ground and took my dog home. The next day, I brought him to a rescue farm for care and he’s now back to normal! I’m very disappointed by how this clinic handled the situation. It felt driven by money, not compassion. I’m grateful I trusted my instincts instead of agreeing to something I would’ve regretted.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to rush my puppy to Craig Road Animal Hospital after a tragic accident, and from the moment I walked in, I immediately noticed how organized and professional the staff was. Unlike other vet offices I’ve been to, where the lobby is packed and the staff looks overwhelmed, Craig Road’s team was calm, prepared, and ready for emergencies. They took my puppy in right away and guided me through every step with care and compassion. The staff was incredibly sweet, honest, and supportive, and I truly felt that they cared about my puppy, not just about the money. Sadly, my puppy didn’t make it, but the kindness they showed during and after that heartbreaking moment meant the world to me. About a week later, I received a card in the mail with heartfelt messages from the staff. That gesture brought so much comfort to our family. Craig Road Animal Hospital has earned my complete trust. We still have other fur babies, and from now on, this is the only place I’ll take them. I know they’ll always be in caring and capable hands here.

Experiencia negativa: Wow was I misled on pricing! I just needed bloodwork on my dog and was very clear on that when I called in to make my appointment. I was quoted around $170. While there they told me that my dog was ready for some shots so I elected to have 3 done for an additional $45... that was completely reasonable. That would bring the total to around $215... When the tech came into the room to cash me out she told me the total was $415. I was in shock! The pricing was completely off from the quote on the bloodwork and they charged me for an exam which I asked about on the phone when I made the appointment. I was told I could just get bloodwork. We've been coming here for years but I'm not sure if I can stomach returning anytime soon...

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my German Shepherd, Niner, in today as an emergency.. Dr (Forgot her name im so sorry but she was amazing) had told me based off how he is, he is suffering it is more than likely something increasingly serious and costly to work with. Working in the veterinary field myself i agreed, We ended up sadly euthanizing my poor boy only a week after owning him from the animal foundation as they did nothing for him in the shelter. Thank you to all the sweet souls up front, the Doctor and assistants & Techs who were so kind to my sweet boy. i wish his care could of furthered but with is poor prognosis, We knew he wouldnt make it overnight. Thank you for assisting in a kind end to my poor boys pain & for the kind staff.

Experiencia negativa: WARNING: Stay Away From This Vet Clinic MY DOG DIED !!! This place is corrupt and only cares about money, not animals. They aggressively pressured me into paying upfront, then kept stacking charges I never approved. When I questioned the bill, I was met with hostility instead of help. Chad in particular is a bully. He talks down to clients, uses intimidation tactics, and tries to corner you into paying more money before they’ll even agree to treat your pet. This is not professionalism — it’s manipulation. And Michelle Fraxione is flat-out dishonest. She twists facts, lies about what was agreed to, and will say whatever she needs to defend their shady practices. Meanwhile, my dog’s actual health was ignored. I asked for his eyes to be cleaned and treated — they did nothing. MY DOG WAS HOSPITALIZED AND THEIR DISGUSTING VET 'DR GOLDSTEIN' DIDNT TREAT MY DOG TIL I PAID MORE MONEY , WHEN I REFUSED SHE NEGLECTED MY DOG AND YELLED AT ME ON THE PHONE TO 'COME GET YOUR DOG' KNOWING MY DOG WAS DYING. They were more concerned about inventing ways to pad the invoice than providing care. DO NOT COME TO THIS HORRIBLE UNETHICAL PLACE!! YOU WILL REGRET IT THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY FECAL MATTER. DONT BELEIVE ME THEN READ THE REST OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THEM!! Do not trust this place with your pet’s life. They exploit people during vulnerable moments and treat clients with zero respect. There are plenty of ethical vets out there — this is NOT one of them.

Experiencia positiva: Honestly, I have been very happy with the actual veterinarians. They are knowledgeable and have been very helpful with my animals when needed. Unfortunately, the scheduling is absolutely horrible! Every single time I have gone there, I have been there for no LESS than 2 hours (even WITH an appointment). I understand emergencies and I feel for those animals, but every.single.time?? Its absurd. If the clinic is running behind, they should have the decency to tell patients when they enter that they are running behind and give patients the choice of waiting or rescheduling rather than sitting there for extended periods of time while their pets shake and tremble and have anxiety. Its terrible! And, I'm sorry, but they need to clean up the front desk staff. If I am paying the amount of money I am paying, then I expect to be treated with a little professionalism...not exotic hair and excessive amounts of facial piercings and tattoos. How am I supposed to take that seriously? Can you imagine if your personal doctors PA presented themself like that? As mentioned, I really have liked the veterinarians, but I am tired of my time being taken for granted. I hope this gets resolved in the future for the sake of the pets.

Experiencia negativa: If you truly love your pet, DO NOT bring them to this hospital. They do not take good care of the animals here. I took my 4-year-old French Bulldog here because he was showing symptoms of discomfort instead being very active. The doctor that took care of him told me he may have a condition in his back that was causing the pain according to what she found during the examination she did. She also recommended a blood and urine test which is what was done. My dog had vaccines due, and she proceed to put on the vaccines, what is usually not a good practice when the dogs are sick ( I knew this later when I was searching online). I took my dog home with the recommended medication, and I started giving it to him. He spent the night in his crate and the next morning he could not walk. He was paralyzed from the spine down. He could not pee or poop. I called the hospital to request another appointment because I suspected he had a reaction to the vaccines and that they worsened his condition. The new appointment was scheduled at 3pm. At around 9:30am my dog began to have respiratory distress, then I called the hospital for an emergency appointment. I took my dog, and we got to the hospital in the next 10 minutes. The doctor that received him in the Emergency room came to talk to me and the first words that came out of her mouth were “I think we should consider doing an euthanize”. Our dog was part of our family, he brought so much joy to our family and we loved him so much, so I immediately said “No, there has be something that you can do for him.” She said, “I will try, but it will cost thousands of dollars”. I signed and paid for everything they put in front of me. Despite all of my efforts and all of the money I paid, my dog died the next day. I was numb. I was in disbelief. Me and my whole family were extremely sad. When I arrived to the hospital to see my once alive, healthy dog on a table motionless and dead, they could not even explain the cause of his death to me; they never shared the urine and blood test results with me and two days after he died, I went back to the hospital to request the results. I will never bring another Pet to this hospital.

Experiencia negativa: JJ was good here for awhile, there hasn't been any issues. But unfortunately we brought him in for what seemed like allergies, we were given eye drops. Later we came back because now he was gnawing at his paws, again, it was treated as allergies... Unfortunately when we noticed a significant decline in his well being we brought him back again only to be told he had diabetes that was too far gone. I don't know what went wrong, we were told blood tests were all good. JJ had to be euthanized as of 7/14/25. I will not place blame, things do happen. I just hope that there are always mandatory full panel blood tests for all animals when they are brought in because obviously we aren't perfect and some symptoms are what we think they are . Blessings to all who have lost a family member to such quick and harsh circumstances. I hold no grudges. Peace be to all

Experiencia negativa: I went there with my cousin who was a long time customer of Craig Road animal Hospital because her dog was very ill. She had been there the 3 previous days before spending $1300. She had come in with an emergency appointment and they want to do an abdominal ultrasound which was like $840+. She just asked if someone could help her with the emergency appointment fee just to charge a regular office visit because you know she just spent money and she’s obviously going to continue to spend money. They send in I believe it was Chad - he was very monotonous, very non-genuine and basically said he couldn’t help in any capacity. We had decided on trying a different place with the same day results for the same price for the ultrasound. The office manager still told us they’d have to charge the office fee even though when the vet came in, they said they hadn’t touched the dog yet until they agreed on the estimate. The had put the IV catheter in his arm - so she said okay we can have it done here. I went and opened the back door of the room into treatment and said hey I’m sorry for all that but she’s willing to have the ultrasound here she’s scared of the wait time at the other place and he was already there. The office manager said and verbatim “I thought we were done here” I said “are you telling me no” he said “yes, I am telling you no - we’re done here”. So I asked for the last 3 days of records for the other place and they rudely printed his records from day one. On the way out, I did ask for his name and the owner‘s name because I was going to reach out and that’s when the lady at the front desk gave me both their first names and said “you know they have the same last name.” I think that’s the Owner vet and another manager though. So unless you’re not asking or questioning, they’re great. But otherwise, I’d avoid at all cost. BTW all the screen shots are PUBLIC reviews of the Employer by Employees or former employees on Indeed. Yes, not all of them are bad. One specifically calls out how they kept a client abusive employee for longer than the should have and that pet abuse happens there.

She's always showed compassion to our dog even though she's a nut and not trustworthy. She understands what the animal needs. Experiencia negativa: My appointment was today at 6 pm, and they have not had the courtesy to call me and tell me why my appointment hasn't been met to its highest priority. It is now 6:57pm. I called them @6:33pm advising them of my appointment, and why are they late if I was on time. Answer received was we have had an emergency and have fallen behind we will attend you in 15 minutes. Mind you, if they were to help me in 15 minutes, it would have been at 6:50pm. Customer service should be their top priority and if they are falling behind due to an emergency, have the manners to call everyone waiting in their cars with their babies( pups) that they will be falling behind. They don't give two shit about others and their precious time.

Experiencia negativa: Sadly, I cannot recommend this animal hospital. Although the staff is friendly, I am less than impressed with the medical care. We brought in our dogs for neutering/spaying and vaccinations. That went just fine, however my dog's repeated ear/eye infections were not effectively treated. Rather than just suggesting to bring him in for ear cleaning monthly or every other month, we came back every 6 months paying for ANOTHER exam fee, and met with a "dirty ears" diagnosis, supplied with a bottle of ear wash, and supposedly my dog's ears were cleaned. He ears didn't look any cleaner or less inflamed when they handed him back to us. Costing well over $500 each time. I really hope that their standard of care improves for future patients.

Experiencia negativa: I have brought my 5 year old dog 3 times for the exact same thing. Each, and EVERY time, they tell me that it's dirty ears. They charged me for some ear wash and an exam, a long with an ear cleaning (which I saw no evidence of) to the tune of $700ish each time. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to my worst enemy.

Experiencia negativa: ❗ WARNING TO PET OWNERS: Craig Road Animal Hospital Let My Dog Die ❗ I trusted Craig Road Animal Hospital to help my dog Nacho when he was sick and in distress. Instead, they neglected him, extorted me for more money, and left him to suffer. I paid over $1,200 upfront just to get basic care started. They did NOTHING. No meds. No fluids. No antibiotics. NOTHING. Dr. Goldstein was aggressive, heartless, and screamed at me over the phone when I questioned why my dog hadn’t been treated even though he was hospitalized with them overnight. She told me to “come get your dog” knowing I was at work—and hung up on me while my dog lay dying in their care. By the time I rushed Nacho to a real vet, it was too late. He died because of their negligence. DO NOT trust this place with your pets. They don’t care about animals—they care about squeezing you for money while your pet suffers. Stay far away!!

Experiencia negativa: I really tried to trust this veterinary office while managing my cat’s diabetes. We were trying a new medication, and I brought him in regularly for checkups. Each time, I was told his numbers were looking good or improving. I spent hours at every single appointment—this place always takes forever—and despite all that time, there was never any clear follow-up. I constantly had to chase them down for updates. Then suddenly, my cat went into diabetic shock. I rushed him in, only to be told his condition had actually been worsening for months, and that we “should’ve switched to insulin” long ago. That was news to me—at no point did they communicate that insulin was necessary or urgent. In a crisis, they quoted me nearly $5,000 for treatment, made me feel like it was “pay up or your cat will die,” and handed kept making me sign refusal of care paperwork, because they didn’t seem to like that I kept writing why I was refusing care on the paperwork. All I wanted to do was get him to another hospital that might actually help. Thankfully, I took him to a different vet immediately. He was put on insulin, stayed overnight, and the total was under $700. But more than the price—it felt like they cared. This vet’s poor communication, lack of follow-through, and crisis handling made an already stressful situation much worse. I do not recommend them, especially if your pet has a chronic condition. You deserve better—and so does your animal.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going here for 10yrs. Today my 85 yr old mother called at 9am to make an appointment and advised we didn't need one we could walk right in w our new puppy for its 1st set of shots. Upon arrival a VERY rude young man w a VERY bad attitude announced rather loudly they do NOT take walk ins. My mother politely told him as to how she was advised earlier this morning. He rudly responded again we don't take walk ins. A young lady named Bailey intervened to adv that we may have been told that this morning, however this not the case at this time, offering another day and time. I simply asked why if someone calls early in the morning to make an appointment we would be discouraged do do so and simply walk in. Not putting the 85 year old customer first, who was driven all the way to their office to be turned away. I have owned my own business, opened a Five star hotel on the strip as San concierge and now handle fatalities for the second largest insurance company in the country. I am lost for words and BEYOND disappointed, money is very hard to come by these days and apparently customer loyalty is no longer in appreciated here!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had been to 4 other Vets and ER animal hospitals on 3/17/25 with my dog she wasn’t doing well and suffering more every minute. She was 17yrs old, I was getting the run around all the while my dog wasn’t doing well dying. I ended up at Craig Animal Hospital had a consultation with the doctor and I knew that I needed to stop her suffering. From the girls and trainees at the front desk to the everyone in the back office and doctor my little Hershey baby and myself were taking care of with the most amazing kindness and compassion. I am so thankful for EVERYONE OF YOU working on 03/17/25, you made this difficult journey just a little easier. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Bianca and Dr.Whitcraft will always be the reason I come to this vet. Bianca always goes above and beyond. Dr. Whitcraft takes the time to explain our options. My dog Marley trusts them both so much and I can tell the difference when she is helped by them. It is rare to have peace of mind when going to the vet and I am grateful for them both.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a sweet hospital. I unfortunately had to put my baby down due to serious infection and they were so sweet the entire process and truly look care of sunny in the best way in his final hours. They also sent a sweet card all signed and it just made me cry. It was so beautiful. Will go here again! Thank you for your kindness

Experiencia negativa: On January 12, 2024, I took my dog to Craig Road Animal Hospital for a dental evaluation with Dr. Meisha Mychajlonka. I was given two estimates—one with unnecessary vaccines I declined, and another without. I took the consent forms home, filled them out, and emailed them back on January 15. I explicitly marked "Do Not Approve" for extractions. I emailed the forms to Craig Road Animal Hospital, they confirmed receipt and added them to my dog's file. When I arrived on the 18th, I expected a quick drop-off, as my paperwork was already submitted. Instead, I waited past my appointment time and had to sign new consent forms. Dr. Meisha Mychajlonka marked "Conditional Approval" for me after I said I wanted a call before any procedure. I made it crystal clear that I wanted a call before any extractions. At 10 AM, I received a voicemail stating 35 teeth would be extracted. I assumed it was a transcription error and immediately called back—only to be placed on hold for 17 minutes. When I finally spoke to staff, I explicitly declined the extractions. They acknowledged my decision. Yet, despite this, Craig Road Animal Hospital went ahead and extracted 35 of my dog’s teeth WITHOUT MY CONSENT. At pickup, I was told the procedure aligned with the "low end" of the estimate, and staff brushed off the miscommunication. The owner and family member of Meisha, Dr. Kurt Mychajlonka, stated that if a pet owner doesn’t respond on the first attempt, the operating veterinarian should stop the procedure—yet this wasn’t followed. So why did they go ahead and extract my dog’s teeth against my wishes? To make matters worse, my dog was also given a Rabies vaccine I never approved, and days later, he developed Kennel Cough from their facility. This clinic has zero regard for consent or ethics. My dog’s life—and mine—has been permanently altered. Instead of a simple cleaning, he now faces a lifetime of dietary restrictions, extra care, and suffering from the damages they caused. I filed a formal complaint with the Veterinary Board against Dr. Meisha Mychajlonka, only to have it dismissed due to “lack of evidence.” Lack of evidence? I have emails, consent forms, and phone records proving I declined extractions. Yet, somehow, that wasn’t enough. It’s infuriating that a vet can completely ignore a pet owner’s consent, permanently alter an animal’s life, and walk away without consequences. Craig Road Animal Hospital disregarded my wishes, ignored consent, and put my dog through unnecessary trauma. If you love your pet, stay far, far away from this place.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog needed surgery on his foot. I took him to Craig Animal Hospital for a second opinion. Dr. Womack was very thorough and kept me informed throughout the process. All employees were very friendly and professional. I really appreciate everything they did for my boy.

Experiencia negativa: I should have read reviews before I came. My dog had surgery there three weeks ago costed almost $4000 and just had the stitches removed in the last couple of days. They said that if I had any concerns within 5-7 days, I could call in. So, after three days of having the stitches removed, my dog started vomiting. I called back early in the morning on Sunday, February 16. The front desk didn’t ask for any of my pet’s information and answered rudely, saying, 'It's not related,' and that was all. If you don't like your job or don’t love animals that much, then maybe you should quit.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic service! I have a working dog and once I was able to get ahold of Dr. Mych, Dempsey and their crew I was so pleased! I had a dental procedure done, and they were very accomodating to my pets needs and my preferences. Everyone was SAFE and understanding. If my current vet ever lets me down, I know EXACTLY where I am going next! I even got to speak with Dr. Dejesus when I first went. He was not the Vet that could do my procedure but he was VERY helpful and provided loads of answers instead of just saying no and leaving it at that. The calling and having a few people to talk to at reception is my only complaint. The people were always helpful, the system wasn't the beat but my ONLY complaint.

Experiencia negativa: If i could leave no stars i would because i was there for 2.5 hours and my dog wasnt checked ONCE. The worst experience I've ever had. I called ahead and they said they were accepting walk-ins. Getting my dog checked for diahrea. There's at least 8 employees up front, one of them gives me a form to fill out and asks me to wait after I turned it in. As I wait, I see about 5 people check in and check out. After an hour, I ask for a time estimate. Turns out they never checked me in. I'm disappointed, but I'm reassured that they take care of me right away. They put me into a room and ask me about past records and say they'll call the previous vet about his records. I wait patiently. After another hour, I ask for any updates. Pretty much right after, Dr. Goldfield comes in and says it took them that long to get the records. I must've guessed correctly at what time I should ask for an update. She asks me some questions, she goes to try examine my 7 month Saint bernard and he growls. He's never been aggressive, but he was very nervous about the environment. She made no attempt to make him comfortable and is frustrated that he wasnt easy right away. Dr. Goldfield freaks out and asks to examine him outside of the room. I ask what she would do to him and she says she wants to check his belly, etc. She must've been waiting for 2 hours too because she seemed really annoyed that I asked about what they would do to my dog or maybe she assumed i should know. She tries to examine him while I restrained him, and immediately gives up and says she's gonna get help. This whole interaction must've been 5 minutes tops. Maybe every dog she's treated has been perfect, so my puppy really got unlucky here. She leaves me in the room for another 20 minutes, and again I have to ask the group of employees if I could get some kind of update or gameplan. They're all super friendly and say they'll check. They bring in the other employees who were apologetic the first time and inform me that Dr. Goldfield doesn't want to treat my dog and that a different vet would. At this point, I feel defeated and although they were apologetic, I really couldn't hold back my tears and had to get out of there. And I left at 2.5 hours later with NO EXAMINATION, and NO IDEA what's wrong with my dog. A MILLION EMPLOYEES AND NOT ONE PERSON THOUGHT TO CHECK TO SEE WHY I WAS STILL THERE AND EVEN AFTER THE FIRST MISTAKE AND I WAS WAITING IN THE ROOM, NOT ONE PERSON THOUGHT TO COME IN TO CHECK ON ME OR UPDATE ME. EVERYTIME I GOT INFO, IT WAS BECAUSE I HAD TO ASK.

Experiencia negativa: Arrived early for new patient appointment for cat. Front desk person was kind and informative. At appointment time, shown into exam room...waited 30 minutes, no one came in or checked on us, we just walked out, seemed no one cared. Very sad.

Experiencia negativa: The doctors are great. Their staff on the other hand, or one staff member in particular, takes away all of the great patient care that the doctors give. Hi Hannah this 1star review is here because of your god awful treatment of us everytime we’ve come in. My final straw was what I JUST witnessed as My boyfriend was asking about our fur baby medication that THEY called us and told us was ready and she hung up on him in midsentence… Hannah, pet health care like human healthcare which I am in, is a line of work where its imperative to provide good patient care along with having good “bedside manners”…. This means interacting with pet parents in a respectful manner and showing a little bit of empathy for how stressful it is when our fur babies get sick. Hannah you have been nothing but rude, disrespectful and impatient everytime we have come in. There is no level of empathy. it isn’t okay be a good awful human in your line of work. If you hate your job that much then quit. Because you are doing a HUGE disservice to this office continuing to show up with so much hate and judgement in your heart. You never know what other people are going through and although you are entitled to you opinion, it is your duty to check that opinion at the door and do your job without all the ugly attitude. You need to do better because karmic energy is real…what you put out WILL bite you back one day. People like this shouldn’t be allowed to be In pet health care or healthcare. Either put her in the back in billing where she doesn’t interact with people or have her shoveling poop out of kennels because her mannerisms are a huge patient losing mar scar on the face this establishment. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. For anyone else, If you see a redhead named Hannah at the front desk, or anywhere for that matter, I’d highly advise you to ask for someone else to help you. Dr De Jesus is a phenomenal human and is the only reason why we have continued to put up with this child’s behavior. Doctor please consider reevaluating the dedication of your staff and how they treat your patient/parents.

Experiencia positiva: The vets and vet technicians are decent. The front desk staff aren’t as good. They are always “behind” and appointments are never kept on time. I even called at one point for curbside assuming that since I had an appointment, it might go faster. I called the number and was immediately placed on hold which always happens. I was on hold for 7 minutes before I decided to just walk in. When I walked in two people were in the front doing nothing but talking with one another. Then they told me they’d be with me soon. 20 additional minutes went by and still nothing. My cat was in distress waiting so long in his crate so I finally walked in again, this time with my cat. They told me that they were backed up and would be with me soon. Another 20 minutes later, now 50 minutes past my appointment time they let me know I’d be next. If this were an isolated incident I might not be as upset but this has happened 3 times before! Between 45-75 minutes behind EVERY TIME. They’re seriously the worst at keeping appointment times which is not good business and also stressful on the pet. If it weren’t for the few nice people that matter I’d have given them 1 star and gone somewhere else a long time ago.

Experiencia negativa: Cat get diagnosed with diabetes. Cat goes through TONS, some unnecessary, months of trial and error to figure out the proper dose. They charged for appointments that needed to be scheduled bc of mistakes vet office made. Finally, The last glucose curve I brought the cat in for was only 3 measurements throughout the day instead of the normal 5. The numbers came back so good that Craig Road should have mentioned remission but instead told me to continue to give a cat insulin twice daily with numbers below 200. And then call to tell me to come get some prescription for WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION. Good doctors work here. But no one has the time to care at Craig Road. I absolutely never felt like the cat was getting the attention we paid quite a bit of $$$$$$ to them for. I'm driving an extra 25 min just to get better care for my cat. This place reminds me of America's healthcare system.

Experiencia negativa: These people do not care about your pet , They make you come back every 2 weeks , just to get a refill and charge you $45 dollars , give you no refill on purpose, so that they can get money off you again and again , The male Vet there has no clue what he is doing or saying. Its a joke ! They over charge you for everything and have no sympathy for you and your pet. Ill never bring my pet back here again.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t usually leave reviews, especially negative ones, but in this case, I have to be honest. If I can prevent even one other pet from this place, this review is a success. We took in our 12-year-old German shepherd for an ear infection. We were quoted $120 for the treatment. The ladies in the front office were great, especially Christi. But stay away from Dr. DeJesus. While on the office, we were told my son can come in for a free rabies shot for his new pup, so we had him drive to meet us there. When Dr. DeJesus walked in, he tried to charge my son $65. When we tried to explain that they told us to being the dog in for free and if they can make an exception, he said, and I’m paraphrasing, “the more you waste time with questions on the little one, the less time I have for your German Shepherd.” I was shocked. By that time he already took our German Shepherd to the back. (Why do they have to examine your pet in privacy away from the owner?). He returns with a quote of $540 telling us that he needs to give her anesthesia to clean out her ears, when my groomer does it for free without anesthesia. He was rude, condescending, unprofessional and lacks any knowledge regarding good customer service. I finally told him that I want my dog back and I’m taking her elsewhere. I paid for the time we were there and left. DO NOT take your pet here. Your putting their safety on the line. G-d knows how they are treated in the back away from the eyes of their owners.

Experiencia negativa: This is one of the worst animal hospital i have ever been to they are rude and don’t care about the pets or the customers they only care about the money! I took my kitten in there on the 21st for upper respiratory infections and looked at my kitten for about 5 mins and gave him a test for FIV and FELV which is the vaccine that cats and kitten get! They never tested my kitten for URI they sent him home with medication that he didn’t need and that give him allergic reaction then when I tried to take him back for the recheck they wanted to charge me another $65 after i already paid $347 the first time i took him in. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY AND SERVICE!!! DONT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: My experience today 12/26/24 with Dr. Bustria, Left me angry and disgusted with this place. We're all struggling in this country right now. A medication almost doubling in price is a big deal, and an attitude of get over it, is not appreciated or acceptable. Maybe her life is so financially comfortable that she never has to think about these things, but treating your patients with a little warmth, kindness and empathy would be great. Coldness and lack of understanding with zero compassion was probably the second worst experience I've had here. The vets might not be able to control the pricing, (although not all of them charge the same amount for the same thing!) but they can show some kindness and understanding. Good luck getting it from this doctor. Oh and then a man comes in to collect my payment. The card machine is next to him across the room. He turns his back to me and says, it's ready. Are you serious? You can't take my card, collect payment and provide some level of service? What's next? Do I treat my dog on my own as well? All for a higher price? I've been quoted three times more for services here than other places. My first vet here, Dr. Finder left and I began seeing Dr. Larkin over the last few years, but she eventually left as well. In fact, all the vets I've loved that worked here, eventually left. Many have grown tired of this place. Dr. Johnson is still here, and I behoove anyone who goes here to see him, because he's the best that's left that I'm aware of. Who knows how long though. I go here for shots and quick things. I go somewhere else for costly services because this place price gouges you into next week. Their services keep going up, and medications have doubled and sometimes tripled in the last two years. They try to sell it as "Inflation". It's inflation of their pockets. I go to another animal hospital and they charge two to three times less for the same things including medications. I guess inflation somehow missed them. The only reason I don't go there for everything, is because they are on the other side of town from me. Craig is seven minutes from my home. It's very sad to see this place going downhill.

Experiencia negativa: The staff was nice, that's why I'm not giving 1 star. I brought my dog in bc her paw was raw from her licking it so much. The vet never came in and examined her, she looked at her in the back (so they say) They brought her back and said it was allergies. Her hair is long and she didn't even trim the hair away to see the paw, so I don't even think the vet looked at it..... If she had, she would've seen my dogs nail was turning black from disintegrating The vet just saw that the paw was pink and said "it's allergies." They tried to get me to do "Senior routine" bloodwork on her again after I had just done a full $600 round of bloodwork on her six months before. I would not agree to doing more blood work. They Took her to the back said they gave her an allergy shot....for $280. They did not send me home with painkillers, Antibiotics, any kind of ointment for her paw, nothing, just a cone for her head The vet never put my dog on the counter and showed me what she could see that made her think it might be allergies. She just said "It's probably just allergies so the symptoms should stop in 4 days, If it doesn't bring her back in and we will assess her again" No, I was not about to bring her back in again bc I knew something more than allergies had to be wrong. I brought her over to Southshore animal Hospital. The vet Actually came in to talk to me and examine my dog..... Imagine that.... Then she took her to the back, trimmed all of the hair away from her nails, And noticed that her pinky nails is completely hollow ", even the vein is dried up, and is disintegrating and the skin is all bruised Then they did an x-ray and they saw that the the bone is disintegrating. They have to do surgery to cut the tip of that pinky toe off before the disease spreads up her entire toe. They sent me home with antibiotics and painkillers for her. I am just mad that I had to spend almost $300 for literally nothing and if I had listened to the Vet at Craig Road animal hospital, my dogs issue would've gotten so much worse than it is right now bc the bone would have KEPT disintegrating and she would have continued to be in bad pain. They need to 1 come in and actually examine the dog IN FRONT of the owner, and be a lot more thorough..... If you can't see the entire paw, like the nails and the skin, trim the hair away. Don't just assume a diagnosis

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this Animal Hospital! On December 2nd, I took Polo, my 9-year-old Labrador, to this Animal Hospital because he had been refusing to eat for a few days. They performed X-rays and blood tests. After four and a half hours of waiting for the report, Dr. Cameron Johnson finally entered the room for the first time to inform us that our dog had a mass in his stomach and liver damage. However, he couldn’t confirm if it was a tumor or something else. He promised to send the imaging results to an X-ray specialist and get back to us the next day. We paid $926.44 for the tests and medication and left, praying it wasn’t cancer. The next morning, I was extremely anxious and called the clinic multiple times but couldn’t get a response from the doctor. At 1:00 PM, I decided to go to the clinic in person. The doctor finally saw me and coldly informed me that, unfortunately, it was a very large and aggressive tumor that was pressing against the stomach, which explained why my dog wasn’t eating. He gave me two options: 1. Perform an ultrasound, though he didn’t recommend it, as surgery would require euthanizing him on the operating table if metastasis was found. 2. Perform euthanasia, which he recommended. He provided the estimate for euthanasia and very coldly added that he would be there until 8 PM that day to perform it, or we could come back the next day. Then he left the room. I was left with an assistant who hugged me as I couldn’t stop crying. She was very nice and understanding. I asked her to check with the doctor if we could wait until Friday to say a proper goodbye to our dog since he was still full of energy. She asked, and the doctor said no—it had to be that night or the following day. I was in complete shock and don’t even remember how I managed to drive home. My dog was still happy, jumping, and running around as usual—how could we put my giant puppy to sleep like that? My family and I were devastated; the emotional toll of this news completely shattered us. It was one of the worst nights in my whole life. The next morning, we went to another animal hospital for a second opinion. The new doctor performed an ultrasound and gave us a similar diagnosis but with much more hope. The tumor was in the spleen, not the stomach, and it wasn’t as large or aggressive as Dr. Johnson claimed. With medication and proper care, she said he could stay with us for up to two more months. My baby has cancer with metastasis—we’ve come to terms with that—but it has now been 10 days since Dr. Johnson wanted to euthanize him. I don’t know how many more days or weeks we’ll have together, but I thank God for each one of these 10 mornings where he’s jumped onto my bed to wake me with kisses, every one of the 10 sunrises we’ve seen together, every one of the 10 walks in the park, every one of the 10 races to the car when I open the front door, and every one of the 100,000 kisses I’ve given him in these 10 days. And for all the ones yet to come.

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn't take your cat here if you love them. If I had the ability to Sue this place I would. Nobody that works there should feel good about themselves. Not only did this Hospital not explained to me that the biopsy on my cat's nose would be "blind", they didn't even biopsy the right areas and missed a rare form of cancer. That was 8 months ago. When I finally got my cat to LVVSC they explained to me that they *strongly ask* hospitals to stop doing procedures they're not equipped for. I would say Craig Road Animal Hospital falls in line with that. The surgeon told me she would call if she felt a biopsy was necessary after the CT.... When I get my baby back I come to find out they did the biopsy anyway. I was told that in addition to biopsying the wrong area, and improperly, they didn't do any cultures that would rule out other factors.....in fact, all "tests" came back negative and it wasn't cancerous. They have cost me thousands of dollars, andwho knows how much of my cat's life, with their failure to provide proper care. I even called a couple of times concerned and never got a call back. I'm praying the last 8 months living with this rare form of cancer that was undetected through improper testing and procedures at this Hospital hasn't made my furbaby suffer more than necessary. I'm glad she's finally getting the help she needs.

Experiencia negativa: I am heartbroken and beyond disappointed with the lack of professionalism and accountability at Craigs Road Animal Hospital. Here is my experience: On October 10th, I brought my two cats to the vet to be microchipped and vaccinated so they could receive the proper documentation for international travel. One of my cats was due for a rabies vaccine, while the other wasn’t due until February. I clearly explained to the staff that despite her not being due, the rabies vaccine was essential for her to meet international travel requirements, as the documentation must reflect a vaccination administered after microchipping. The nurse assured me they understood and would take care of it. Due to one of my cats being difficult to handle, they insisted on using anesthesia for the procedure, which cost $350—something I accepted, thinking all necessary steps were being handled. I left that appointment confident that both cats were fully prepared for travel. Fast forward to mid-November, I scheduled the final pre-travel vet visit to receive the official travel documentation (valid for only 10 days). When I confirmed the appointment, I was shocked to learn that my second cat was not vaccinated for rabies during the October visit as promised. No one had communicated this to me, leaving me completely unaware that I was missing a critical requirement for travel. Now, just days before my flight, it’s too late to vaccinate my cat, as there’s a mandatory 21-day waiting period after vaccination for international travel. This means I am forced to leave my cats behind, breaking my heart and disrupting all my carefully made plans. To make matters worse, I cannot even consider having someone send my cats in the luggage compartment after I leave—it would be an incredibly stressful and traumatic experience for them, and it’s simply not an option for me. My goal was to ensure they were fully prepared and able to travel with me in the cabin, where I could care for them and keep them comfortable. I’ve been a loyal client of Craigs Road Animal Hospital and Dr. Goldfield for the past 13 years. To be treated with such negligence and lack of communication after all these years is devastating. Their failure to carry out what was explicitly discussed and agreed upon—and to notify me when they didn’t follow through—shows a complete disregard for their responsibilities. When I brought this issue to their attention, no one took ownership of the mistake or offered any solutions. The negligence and lack of accountability from this clinic have caused me immense emotional and financial distress. I trusted them to handle an important and time-sensitive matter, and they completely let me down. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re relying on them for detailed, critical procedures. Their negligence has caused irreparable consequences for me and my pets.

Experiencia negativa: This place doesn’t take the time with their customers like they used to. They didn’t spend more than 2 minutes to look at my dog. They are busy but that doesn’t mean you should cut corners. They also reported my dog to animal control after it bit the veterinarian’s thumb. Now my dog is on a 10 day quarantine and on top of that I got a $450 bill! Thanks guys!

Experiencia negativa: I live about 70 miles away from the clinic a friend told me how nice it was and he had a great experience having to put his dog down. My 15 year old dog needed to be put down. So I called they said come right in. I drove all the way there they sat me in a room for well over 11/2 hours and not one person came in so I left and drove all the way back home with my dog and had to watch him suffer again all night.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff! These professionals helped us in a time of need. I already left a negative review over at Providence Animal Hospital (literally the worst place to take your pet/family member). My wife and I had a 12-year old Chihuahua named Peanut. We had originally setup an appointment at Providence (I should have known better after taking our dog Eli less than a year ago) I urge you to go read the review on their page. Horrible Dr. Perry, oh man. Anyways the staff and Dr. at the Craig Animal Hospital are amazing. They went above and beyond. They made an extremely difficult situation (Euthanizing our pet) a little easier. I forget the Dr.s name, I apologize, but she was so amazing! After the Dr. at Providence tried to take advantage of us at a highly-emotional time in our life, also giving our daughter false hope, and after only looking at our dog for two seconds. The staff and Dr. at Craig Animal Hospital, listened to us, and then explained to our daughter the situation, and she was a true professional. Unlike the Dr. at Providence. He literally opened with “You need to convince me to Euthanize your dog” immediately following up with hundreds of dollars, actually 2000 to 10000 worth of surgery that would follow for our pets collapsing Trachea. We knew full well what was to follow. We tried explaining the situation (while they intentionally played really sad music over the loud speakers in their office). If you want medical assistance for your pet, do not go to Providence. But after preparing to Euthanize our dog, Providence pulled that. We ended up going to Craig Animal Hospital. I will end on a positive note. The Staff was amazing at the Craig Animal Hospital, and that is our new medical provider for all our pets. Thank you all so much for your compassion, and for actually listening to us and our unique situation.

Experiencia negativa: In my opinion they killed my dog. My dog was a 14 yo overweight lab and last Sunday my husband brought her in for a nail trim and a weight. She was on the Farmer's Dog for 2 mos and they asked for a weight. She lost 10 lbs and was finally starting to gallump again. She was healthy and fine, my husband walked her out to the car, but he's suffering with cancer and couldn't get her back in the car. He walked her back into the hospital, and asked for a vet tech to help get her in the car. He walked her back to the car. The vet tech tried to lift her properly under her belly but couldn't do it so instead of getting help she decided to get on her hands and knees and shove my dog on her backside into the car repeatedly until she could get her in and close the door. My husband brought her home but she could barely get out and walk into the house. She got in my just collapsed. She couldn't lift her backside and every time we touched it she yelped in pain. We gave her the anti inflammation meds she was on and put alternative ice and heat on her. She'd get up and walk a short distance and sit down yelping. The next day she still couldn't walk so we took her back by stretcher to the hospital thinking that vet tech may have dislocated her hip. They took xrays but everything looked good. Then the vet tells me the next day Tues that her kidney numbers are up and her sugar is low. She hadn't eaten or drank water since Sunday night. They finally gave her IV fluid and dextrose and her numbers went to normal. But they suggested a kidney ultrasound because the vet thought probably the reason she couldn't walk was kidney failure. I kept insisting she has soft tissue damage from being manhandled. The ultrasound test showed her kidneys were good, her pancreas looked good, no indication of tumors anywhere they tested. Then the vet says it's her thyroid and that's why she has leg weakness, nope test normal. Just like it had been two months prior. Then she tells us she's concerned about a bruise on her stomach. The vet techs were using a towel as a harness to get her to walk around and it bruised her. We visited her everyday as she just kept cascading downward. Look more horrible then the day before and still couldn't walk on her own. Then the vet says she thinks she might have Addisons Disease, nope test normal. The vet calls me 930pm Thurs and suggests she's giving more fluids During the night instead of watching my dog the night vet tech ignores her and allowed her balloon with edema gaining 13lbs that day in water until the vet came in the next morning. My dog was bleeding from her nose from the excessive edema.Friday we visited her and we couldn't recognize her she was so ballooned and the water was seeping from her skin. The next morning Saturday after being on several diuretics, she lost 12lbs of the water weight but the edema caused water around her heart and lungs and the vet said she probably die of heart failure either that night or the next 48 hrs so we decided to end her suffering. So not only did the initial vet tech hurt my dog do bad she couldn't walk anymore but the night vet tech ignored my dog's edema and never contacted the vet to remove the IV which eventually caused her final decline. To add insult to injury, the vet placed the first shot of the euthanasia to sedate her but it didn't take and as she gave her the second shot, she jumped up and I had to hold her down until she finally passed away. To say this episode was devastating from start to finish is an understatement. I am livid because in my opinion the hospital was just trying to find anything they could pin her inability to walk other than the damage their vet tech did to her getting her into the car. The subsequent edema because the night vet tech didn't do their job of taking care of her caused her such edema she never recovered. Like I said, in my opinion they killed my dog. Today we picked up her remains and I can't help to feel the guilt of bringing her in for that nail trim and if she didn't, she'd still be with us today.

Experiencia negativa: Super disappointed with this experience. I called to inquire how much a spay would be for my dog with her having had an accidental mating but it still being super early on. They decided to treat it as a normal spay, or spay with her in heat at the very most. I asked for an estimate and was quoted $261 if they did it while in heat. I asked to make sure and said does this include everything? Drugs, injections, etc? The woman on the phone said yes. I woke up before work at 5am to drive 44 minutes with my dog to drop her off for her spay, only to have the vet come in and quote me something that was DOUBLE what the girl on the phone did. I checked over the estimate, and it included all the usual things that I had asked the woman on the phone about. Yet the only two prices she had quoted me was the spay itself, and the $51 extra for her being in heat. The rest was all medications and anesthesia. This was the low end with no bloodwork or anything. I let her know that it was over double what one of her receptionists quoted me and asked if anything can be taken off. She said no, and I asked for a moment. My husband and I discussed and quickly left. How scammy. There was nothing extra, nothing I didn't disclose. I have a happy and healthy 1 and a half year old dog. She weighed the exact amount I said she did. If your receptionists are not trained on how to properly pull up an estimate for someone, how about don't have them do it? I used to work at an animal hospital and receptionists weren't allowed to give estimates unless they were extremely tenured and/or knowledgeable. And IF someone did misquote, we'd honor it because it was OUR fault. So so scammy. The doctor seemed nice, and the place was clean, but uneducated receptionists and no honor system makes this place a hard pass for me. Yuck

Experiencia fantástica: I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. De Jesus and his team. When my brother had to make the heartbreaking decision to put his dog, Slug, to sleep, we were all incredibly distraught. Dr. De Jesus was exceptionally empathetic, and his kindness brought us comfort during such a difficult time. He and his team made us feel cared for and supported, which meant the world to us. We cannot thank them enough for their compassion and professionalism.

Experiencia negativa: Came in 10 minutes early before my appointment. Waited 40mins in lobby. Another family came in that also had an appointment and they were “immediately” given a room, I mean they were in the lobby for less than 5 minutes and were serviced right away. I looked at the employee that did this as she closed their exam room door, she must have seen the shock on my face because 3min later she took my family and I to our exam room. Hoping it wasn’t a race thing but my family and I are of minority race and the customers that were serviced immediately were Caucasian.

Experiencia negativa: We have been taking our teacup Pomeranian to Craig for like 8 years now and we took her to arc animal hospital and we found out our dog had a bad heart and needed knee surgery in which after hearing this I was blown away and upset we weren't told about this. Also it seems like you are just a number at the clinic. Another the room where we talk to the doctor the chairs are really uncomfortable. Finally I am taking all my business to arc animal hospital and everyone reading this I would recommend them as well because they show genuine concern and compassion.

Experiencia fantástica: We've been taking our pets here for over a decade, and we won't go anywhere else. The vets here are up front about costs and what issues might be going on, so you're not blindsided if the worst-case scenario happens. They have gotten a bit pricier over the years, but I feel it's worth it for the quality of care you get.

Experiencia negativa: Made appointment two days before for an ongoing issue with my dogs, Collected a sample brought a day earlier from my appointment, Reconfirm the appointment time and once I was there, they made me wait one and a half hours to tell me that they couldn’t see me because They were too busy, Problem is if you give them the $250 for emergency, they will see you right away and of course it’s money over patients. this place was good Until it wasn’t, I don’t know who the new manager is but they’re not doing a good job.

Experiencia negativa: I had already shared my experience and somehow it got deleted. It really sucks to have to give such an awful review because I have been bringing my dogs here for over 10 years. To be clear 90% of the vets I have seen are fantastic here along with the vet techs. However it does need to be known when someone neglects so much. Our experience end of last year ended with us having to cremate our less than year old puppy after driving him to an emergency visit at night after he was handed to us seizing. Our dog ended up have a neurological problem and organ issues. I understand they are not a speciality however when we picked him up we saw the vet who had spoken to us on the phone Dr Ugorji. She didn’t even try to talk to us even though she saw us. We asked if he was ok to transport because he was limp and unresponsive. The two assistants who gave him to us had NO IDEA what was even going on they didn’t even know the vet had called us to pick him up to take to an emergency vet. Long story short we show up the an emergency visit and the vet there was beyond upset about the condition they handed our puppy to us in. She said he was seizing and was probably seizing when we picked him up and his brain was fried by the time they saw him and it was too late. He ended up dying that night. Dr Ugorji was over her head and didn’t just say that from the beginning and didn’t even have the decency to talk to us when she saw us because she was leaving for the day and wanted to go home. We know you can’t know everything but clearly no one was checking on him while he was boarded there . Such a shame because this has been a very great office up until then and it’s hard to trust them now.

Experiencia negativa: My father has been taking his dogs here for the past 30 years or so back then he was impressed now we are not so much at all they are all about the money very unprofessional and don't care about the animal my most recent visit with my dog they take him in the back room Dr walks in and tells me it's at the end for your dog within 5 minutes with no testing then he walks out of the room comes back 20 to 30 minutes later and start saying that he wants to do X-rays and blood work that is something he should have said the first off the bat before giving a diagnosis he had to stay the mind of just guessing and wanted the money I haven't been happy with the last few pets I brought there and my father told me don't go back good thing I got a second opinion for the dog I just brought there because he would have been dead that day took him to another vet and he is now recovering better than ever they are very unprofessional and I do not recommend them at all including if it was my dog's last option I do not trust them. Then as I walk out to leave the place there's a lady with her dog and she asked us what is wrong with our dog I told her our story and she wasn't happy either with them she said that she does not want to take her dog back there again

Experiencia positiva: Updating my review: I added a star - still some problems especially front desk issues and still takes way too long to drop pets for boarding (three people asking same questions and waiting for someone to come) and pick up takes a while too. However, recently two different vets took time to discuss my concerns and made me feel that they are trying to make changes to improve our experience. I feel they truly cared for my pets while they were there recently. Improvement, small but evident. Costs are high everywhere. Their costs are in line with trends.

Experiencia fantástica: *detailed review* ZERO complaints. Our senior dog had a bad weekend and wasn't getting any better. We called on Sunday at noon to ask about walking in and they answered every question I had. Told us to come by when we were ready and they would be there for us. We arrived at the very easy to locate location and parking was right by the door. Several nice ladies greeted us and had us fill in a simple form(first time visitors). They weighed her and walked us to a comfort room. It was not a cold sterile scary room, but one with a couch and chairs. They gave us time with her before dr Womack came in and explained how this was the best decision for her. She did not push surgeries, meds or tests, she gave us more time with her. They collected her for only a few minutes to put a catheter in and to get the line ready in her arm. Told us to take any more time we needed and then my sweet old girl passed with the Dr's help. Dr Womack is a god send and treated our dog like her own. Gave kisses and praises the whole way through. She made the worst day just a little better with her understanding and explanations. --side note for those looking, pricing was way below what we were expecting. 150 for euthanasia. They have packages for cremation available. Take negative reviews with a grain of salt, when it comes to our animals people are either thankful or upset. Will recommend this location to everyone we know <3

Experiencia fantástica: This hospital was the most kind hospital I’ve been to in ages. We had to make the very hard decision to put down our 1.5 year old pup due to both her CCLs being torn and her meds wearing off faster than I could give them to her without hurting her, with the expense of the surgery needed and how unhappy she would be with the length of time needed for kennel rest along with a chronic issue that she’d had since about 4 months old. I was very worried that we would just be pressured to have the surgery done or some other expensive procedure and she would just be in pain for ages. The entire staff was very comforting and gentle and reassuring that we were making the right decision so she wouldn’t be in any more pain, they were very gentle with her and helped us carry out our wishes to let her have chocolate and to have lots of hugs and kisses with our other dog there as well and didn’t start before we gave the okay, and they were closed for almost an hour before we left but they never rushed us out, they let us have our time. They were very gentle and amazing and a few days later we received a handwritten card from the entire staff. They helped make a painful decision and situation much easier to deal with, I can’t find a single bad thing to say about them. Thank you all, your kindness during such a hard time is amazing.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT COME HERE BAD SERVICE!!!! I never write reviews but when it comes to my dog it’s a different story. Came here as a walk in and they said it would be about an hour and that they would call us when they are ready for us, we waited outside in my car and then went back inside about 10 minutes before the hour was up. They then told us it would be another 45 minutes due to emergencies that came in after my dog. They again told us they would give us a call when they are ready, nobody ever told us to to wait inside or that we had to stay on the premises they said they would call us when they are ready. So while we waited another 45 minutes we went to the park for about 15 minutes to help my dog calm down and try to walk around, came back and waited outside of the vet building for another 40 minutes until we realized they were not going to call us back in even though my dog had been throwing up for hours at this point but that wasn’t a concern for them. The building had now closed at this point 8pm even though they said they would still take us after they close no matter what before we left. So we waited over two hours for absolutely nothing a waste of time while I could have been calling other vets to get my dog help. When I called the next morning to ask what happened the manager told me it was miscommunication and that I shouldn’t have left the premises. Ridiculous. Then you should have your staff tell people that, not that they will give you a call when they’re ready, because then I would have waited inside the entire time to make sure my dog got in. The only miscommunication here was from them!

Experiencia fantástica: We have been clients of Craig Road Animal Hospital for over a decade and used them for several services. The most recent was the euthanasia of one of my fur babies. They were patient and caring during the entire process. Shortly after we received a gorgeous wind chime with a poem from the rainbow bridge. I have had several friends say, "If we lived on you side of town we would use their services." We can't say enough good about them. Just use them for yourself and you'll see. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND SERVICES!

Experiencia positiva: Like the place very well till my dog and I were left in a room for 30 min waiting to see vet. Nobody came in to say hey sorry for the wait so we left without seeing a vet. Then they had a nerve to call and try to charge me for a visit. I make appointments cause my time is just as important as theirs.

I trusted them with Jasmine and Noodles and will trust them with others in the future I have no doubt.

Experiencia negativa: Really upset with how this place treated us when we had to bring our cat in for Euthanasia. She was in pain. she had cancer and was very weak this day. It was time. I had been recommended this place as my mom’s boyfriend had used this place in the past. Our experience was I’d say pretty traumatic. They immediately brought us into an exam room . As we were saying our goodbyes after paying and telling them we want to be in the room with our babygirl, A random young girl walks in and grabs our cat from my husband and said are yall done saying goodbyes I said yes. My cat pees all on her and I was asking but where are you taking her !?!? We want to be in the room . She hands her back to my husband peeing and upset. And starts saying “my apologies I was told differently . So sorry so sorry”. she leaves the room. Another girl walks in and was like we take the cats to the back to do catheter and then bring them back in . She was like “I’m a crazy cat lady I love cats too” mind you we don’t want to put our baby to sleep already . Like ? Why are you happy? We are all crying . It took 8 mins for them to give her catheter in the back. I was worried they did it and put her to sleep behind our backs . When she brought our baby back in with towels. she asked us “are you guys done saying goodbyes” we said yes we are . She said okay be right back. minutes go by and we’re just calming our baby down. She’s trying to get off the table top wobbly and of course she’s uncomfortable and does not want to be there. It seems like forever. We start to hear them locking doors and we’re like okay we must be the last people and they must be cleaning or something which is fine because gives us more time with our baby . But then We don’t hear anyone . We thought they forgot about us and closed the building on us. 30 something minutes goes by and I’m like this is torture I just wanted to take my baby and leave but knew she was in pain and hadn’t been eating. I go into hall way and around the lobby . No ones there but could hear a group of workers laughing loudly . Sounded like they were all in a room just joking around while we were waiting to end our babies life . A couple minutes later the doc comes in . Tells us about the meds and how the process works. My husband is just so upset because our cat did get snappy with the doctor as checking the catheter. She told him to cover her face with the towel while she inserts catheter and medicine and that’s how she passed . As we were leaving , Those girls were in next of rooms cackling really loudly still . So that’s our memories of this experience…… woman trying to take our baby and do it in the back. Our baby getting mad at us feeling betrayed and workers cackling next door when we just said our goodbyes to our first family pet that we honestly loved dearly . My husband just keeps repeating I can’t believe her last memory is me covering her face and upset and betrayed feeling overall it just obviously wasn’t a good expierience . It really sucks !

Experiencia negativa: My Grand Fur Dog was taken to this DUMP. His visit was for a “Ordinary Teeth Cleaning” and mail clipping while sedated. This was his 1st visit. His appointment was 8;00 no food after 10;00pm night before. At 12:00 pm we still had not been notified and after 2calls his procedure started He was picked up after 4:00pm. The bill was over the quoted fee, nearly $600 for a dental cleaning they did one 1 X-ray and charged over $150.00 My/Our Dog has a huge excessive amount of blood in his stool. This now requires an emergency visit that they’re charging another $250.00 for A PROBLEM THAT THEIR INCOMPETENCE caused I have real distain for places that take advantage of your love ❤️ for your pets and are unskilled professionals

Experiencia fantástica: We are new to Craig road Animal Hospital. But so far loving the care, and services they provide. We were not even a established customer yet, and I clipped one of my 5 month old pups nails a bit to close. Late in the day too, no appointment and they got us in and took care of him. Then time for our pup to get neutered. sort of a last minute decision. I knew I was going to be of work due to rain. called them Tuesday evening. they had an open spot for the next day. (I Got lucky there.) But got him in, and everything went great. Very helpful, friendly staff too.

Experiencia negativa: I took my dog to this vet as I just moved to this side of town and needed to find a new vet as she is vaccine exempt and has to be groomed at a vet. Before she could be groomed a vet had to check her out and they said she was long overdue for a teeth cleaning. I agreed and so scheduled her for a cleaning several days later. When I brought my dog Luna for her cleaning, the tech who came in thought we were there to be spayed. Then the next tech came in and said my dog needed to be vaccinated. It was clear no one knew what the heck they were doing. I should have left right then. When the vet dentist came in she was nice but extremely young. She gave me an estimate and got my permission to pull any teeth that needed to come out as long as it stayed within the estimate. I agreed to this. About six hours later I called as I’d heard nothing and the staff let me know she was not under yet for the cleaning as there were other dogs in front of her. So my dog was just sitting in a cage all day waiting. I finally got a call a couple of hours later that she was out of surgery and I could come get here around 5 or 6 pm. When I arrived to grab her, the vet tech let me know that she had 9 teeth extracted. I was in shock as I brush my dogs teeth regularly and add proden to her food daily. When he brought my dog out she was breathing like she had liquid in her nose and blood was coming out of her nose too. It was a rough 48 hours followed with reverse sneezing, gagging and odd breathing noises. The vet tech told me that was normal. As days progressed, Luna’s breathing became louder and it sounded like she was snoring when she was awake. So I took her back to the vet who was aware it could be a complication called oronasal fistula (I’d done my homework) but wanted us to try some anti inflammatory meds and allergy pills first to see if it was just airway inflammation. We even brought her back to the vet the next day and were told to schedule a f/u in 3 days but when we tried to schedule that the person up front told us they were closed that weekend for Christmas. Within 24 hours Luna’s breathing became very labored so I ended up in the ER for animals that night and spent several thousand dollars trying to figure things out. All tests came back normal. They thought maybe bronchitis but she wasn’t coughing. No one at either facility had enough dental experience to understand the post surgery complications she was experiencing. Christmas was awful watching my 5 year old dog slowly suffocate. We took her back to Craig road on Tuesday only for the vet who did the teeth extractions to say it was going to be a couple thousand more to put her back under to figure out what’s going on. She refused to even admit this was something done wrong on her part. That left us feeling like we couldn’t trust her to fix the issue. There is only one dental canine specialist in town and it was going to take weeks to have her seen by him. We were just one week away from the appt when she aspirated on food likely due to a hole in the roof or her mouth that formed either due to improper stitching, a traumatic tooth removal, or a removal that was pulled in the wrong direction. That hole allowed food into her sinus cavity which also impacted her lungs and breathing. It’s one of the most common complications of teeth extraction and especially with long snouted dogs. This dog was healthy except she needed a cleaning. One month after her teeth removal we had to put her down because she was suffering and wouldn’t be well enough to go back under to figure out what went wrong. I’ve never felt so helpless in my entire life. Do not take your dog here for dental work. Go to a dental specialist. I will never return to this vet. I lost my soul dog and I’m crushed. I spent $6k total and couldn’t save her. All for a routine cleaning for which I was never warned this could happen. I fully plan to file a complaint with the board of vet examiners.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Craig Road Animal Hospital for years and highly respect all the Dr's and staff. A few days ago I took one of my 10 yr old dogs in because he obviously didn't feel well. It turned out he was critical and needed a blood transfusion. Dr Lutz explained everything in detail and was so kind. She was wonderful in every way. In fact, the whole staff from the front desk on were very caring. My case was a STAT case and they moved fast. If you ever have to wait it isn't from them sitting around but working under stressful situations saving our babies. My little guy is home now but not out of the woods yet. Thank you Dr Lutz!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love the experience at Craig Road Animal Hospital! My sweet puppy got ran over by a truck and after getting quoted $10,000 at the emergency vet I was helpless. The next morning I brought my baby here, as she waited in the car with her grandma, I explained everything to the front desk they were very quick with intaking the information and very helpful! I waited about 30-45 minutes as a walk-in and got called. Dr.Larkin was who took care of my baby and she was so nice!!! She explained everything where it was very easy to understand, helped me pick the best option for my puppy and took her right in. (Only was quoted and charged $2,800 for x-rays and leg amputation!) I felt at peace leaving my puppy in their care for 2 1/2 days! They called me with updates and called to check up on my baby’s post-surgery. I’ve never been so satisfied and happy with a vet visit!! Pricing was affordable and adaptable to your income and very clean environment! I highly recommend Craig Road animal hospital especially Dr.Larkin and her assistant Juliana! Thank you Dr.Larkin and Craig Road Animal Hospital for helping my baby Zuma!!!!! <3

Experiencia negativa: Two stars given for great service 3 years ago... I've been coming here for years, the past year and a half this place has gone down hill. For the past 3 visits, each took over 2.5 hours and started an hour late. I get emergencies happen but not even sure that was the reason. There was no communication whatsoever, it just was. My pet had a visit this past Tues for a lab draw as he has kidney disease, no results..it's Sat night, this is despite calling twice to get results....all I got was sorry...I'll send a message to a vet. I shouldn't be surprised, it took 10 days two visits ago...the vet was on vacation....then she didn't see the labs....again...I made multiple calls to get the results. Another vet could at least call??? Both visits labs were a CBC and a chem panel. I really should have left about a year and a half ago when the vet removed the wrong tooth on my pet and never called me back-I asked twice to speak with her. After that incident, I took another pet in for a check up and explained the situation to a senior vet and she stated she would ask the vet who pulled the the wrong tooth to give me a call....nothing. I kept making excuses for this place, in my mind...things happen, events happen. What is now clear to me...Me and my pets are just another number....... Lab values matter, teeth matter...that's why I am a responsible pet owner and take my pets to the vet.....clearly I need to find a place that cares about the welfare of my family.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience, had to wait over an hour to get my dog seen. After they saw my dog the wanted to charge quite a it of money for diagnostics. I agreed to it out of desperation, they still couldn’t find out what was wrong with my dog. Just sent him home with some pain pills and he is still messed up. Not only is he suffering I am left with very little options since I just racked up a major bill with these guys and I am still in the exact same situation I was before,

Experiencia fantástica: We had Dr. Johnson who was very knowledgeable about my rescue kittens. Pricing was fair and the environment was clean. Wait was long but I did a walk-in so I suggest making an appointment. Thank you Dr. Johnson! Nyx and Muses are very grateful for your help!

Experiencia fantástica: When I took my dog here I was sure she was knocking on deaths door. I allowed her to stay at this clinic for 4 nights. They called me twice a day with updates answered all of my questions. She was on IV fluids, meds, and eventually a feeding tube. I had to bring her home because I could not afford a lengthier stay. I was given meds and very detailed care instructions. It's been a little over 24 hours since she's been home. Now she's eating, wagging her tail, walking around and jumping on our legs. Thank you all for the care you gave Kali. I know we still have a ways to go, but I'm pleased with the progress. I appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to Craig Road since 2009. I am very happy with the care my dogs have received. I also appreciate the considerable patience I am shown by staff. I am a horrible worry wort and my every concern and question is handled without judgment or disdain. Dr. Whitcraft is so very professional, considerate and knowledgeable! I'd recommend her to anyone. I was there yesterday with my fur baby and felt that my dog and I were important and taken seriously. Things are not always perfect but where are things perfect? I find that if I do have an issue and bring it to their attention, it's dealt with and acknowledged.

Experiencia negativa: We were recommended to bring our puppy here for a wellness exam and we were very dissatisfied. The front desk staff was uninviting and barely paying attention, the techs seemed confused and untrained, and the vet was nice but she seemed like she was rushing and not taking the time to answer our questions. This place tried to charge us 3 times for one test and we had to catch the mistake. Our appointment was at 1 and we did not leave until 4.
