Experiencia fantástica: Friendly helpful staff. Knowledgeable, caring, polite and respectful too. We came as walk-in for vaccines (3 hours!) but not once was it unpleasant. We were very impressed with the way an emergency arriving soon after we did was handled.
Experiencia fantástica: Great place to take your pet. As a first-time cat owner, I had a couple of concerns. The fine folks there took great care of my cat and alleviated those concerns with a clean bill of health! Got an exam, blood and urine lab work, rabies vaccination, and microchipped all for a good price. I only wish human costs were this cheap. Friendly staff and great Veterinarians. Mine even called me personally to discuss the lab results. I highly recommend Camino Al Norte Animal Hospital!

Experiencia fantástica: Of course I love that place, I suppose thats important. But my animals? They wouldn't want to go anywhere else. They treat all my cats like their own, and my fur babies love them... possibly more than me. Use to be a 4 mile drive, now its a 12 mile drive. But this is their vet, and it will be for life, regardless of when I move to. EVERYONE here is amazing! EVERYONE here loves thier job!

Experiencia negativa: I am so angry and so sad. And I won’t be taking my 4 other pets to them ever again. On Nov 10th my daughter brought our 6yo cat Mochi in Because he was Acting funny, excessive drooling, bad breath, He wasn’t cleaning himself and poor appetite. They told my daughter that it could possibly be feline herpes, or maybe He chewed on an electrical cord, or something with a sharp edge as he had an “ulcerated tongue”. They “recommended” bloodwork, but that was it. They gave him a shot for nausea, (although We did not tell Them that he was throwing up), and they gave us pain medication and a mouth Rinse. And sent him home. About 2 to 3 days later, mochi was acting normal again, cleaning himself and eating. On January 16th (2 months later) Mochi started acting funny again. I noticed the smell coming from his breath again, and the drooling, So I gave him the medication again, the pain reliever, and the mouth rinse, As I still had some . After 2-3 days, this time, he did not get better. He got worse. He was vomiting excessively, You could tell he wasn’t cleaning himself again. The drooling was really bad. His breath smelt foul again. And this time he was refusing to even eat wet food. When I got home on January 20th from work at 7:30 PM He jumped down off the couch and collapsed, As if no strength, he was also whining and crying. We rushed him to an after hour Vet Who said he was in critical condition, severely dehydrated, and lethargic. They rushed him to the back and when they came out, the vet came out herself and Said “we really need to do blood work on him”, We had them run the blood work, it came back Kidney Disease and he was in Stage 4, And was in kidney failure. The vet recommended humane euthanasia. I had to put my baby to sleep. I had to hold him in my arms while he died. He passed away at 10:25pm After he passed away, I looked up kidney disease in cats, And ulcerated tongue was in the top symptom for kidney disease!!!. What I don’t understand and why I’m so angry is if that was the case why didn’t they say that kidney disease was a possibility in November when we brought him in there? And that it was “vital to his survival” that he be tested for kidney function? They didn’t even suggest that it could’ve been kidney disease or say he really needs to be tested. They didn’t even say anything of the sort other than to say oh, we recommend bloodwork. Recommend? They should’ve insisted. EVERYTHING that we brought him in for was a symptom or sign of kidney disease. AND WHY DID THEY GIVE HIM AN ANTI-NAUSEA MEDICATION IN NOVEMBER WHEN WE DIDN’T SAY HE WAS THROWING UP? BECAUSE THAT’S A HUGE SIGN OF KIDNEY DISEASE Companied with all the other symptoms that we told them he had in November . And even if I couldn’t save my baby, I could’ve saved him two months of pain. Because I’m sure he was in pain as his kidney functions were diminishing to Nothing . Shame on Camino El Norte Animal Hospital, all I can say is do better. I hope no one else has to go through the pain my daughter and I Had to as we held our poor mochi while he passed away, At six years old.

Experiencia fantástica: Our 15 yr old jack Russell mix had dental surgery he had a lot of teeth pulled out because they where very bad along with a mass that needed too be removed .I was soo nervous about him being put under anesthesia because it's a higher risk for older dogs. But doctor lock heart was amazing and she gave us comfort knowing there are more than one person monitoring vital sighns and his heart and if any distress during surgery they stop too prevent any risks. She did a wonderful job with his surgery and he recoverd very well the next following day .he was very loopy and slept alot but that is normal and too be expected but I am very relieved how it went well and he's back too being his high energetic self again . The whole staff infront working at the desk are very sweet great personalities and the lady who came out too give us his meds when we picked him up was super nice wish I new her name.and for those people in the other reviews who complain about price if you go too a cheaper place you wont get good quality care .you get what you payed for quality over quantity. And everything they charged me for his entire procedure was reasonable. Our dog has been coming here since he was in his younger yrs for shots. I will continue too bring him here for future needs doctor lock heart is his doctor and she shows compassion and kindness for the pets and there owners and I want too thank her for the excellent job she has done and t.j will now have a better quality of life .sincerely suzanne staton.
Experiencia fantástica: My spouse and I had a wonderful experience with Camino Al Norte Animal Hospital. although I took a scheduled appointment, I also tried and did a walk-in on Sunday and they took a seat in within the next 15 minutes of course. We took in both of our dogs due to our dogs, being real frisky and wanted to just be friendly some people were kind of afraid of us one of the service representatives at the front desk offered to have us go into us a room that was available to wait until our turn for our dogs to receive services. they are very compassionate and very friendly and our dogs just love the staff.

Experiencia negativa: I don't understand why do they my dog to the back for all services. Why can't they be done in front of me? How do I know services were rendered? When we take our child to the Dr they are not taken back without the parent. I know an animal is not the same, but to me my dog is my child. This is the first vet I've had that does this. We moved from California and needed a new vet, but was surprised by this.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff hear is kind and understanding, and the doctor us knowledgeable and empathetic. My dog was really sick and I had to have her put down. I was not rushed and they even let me take her home to spend one last afternoon with her.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been coming here for 7 years and I can’t believe the experience I had today. I took my dog to get his nails grinded with a dremal and instead they only cut his nails and charged me an extra $35 special handling fee. I bring my dog every month for his nails because he is reactive and they are aware he needs a muzzle. LIZBETH at the front was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. If you are going to charge me extra, why not let me know before you continue services? Be aware before being your pets here. The service has gone down tremendously.

I’ve been going there over 10 yrs plus and all of a sudden I felt the disrespect when they took my dog from the back door and shut it in my face to force me back outside in 100 degree heat to wait while they cut my dogs nails . I go inside and they did not acknowledge my presents of me standing there with my dog when I went inside . Then the guy in the black suit told me he was going to refuse my service cause I’m pissed off cause they had me outside waiting in the heat . I was not offered to go sit in the lobby . They just took my dog and closed the door in my face . I felt it was rude after my wife just went inside and paid for me to bring our dog in service. The girl at the counter was talking on the phone while I was standing there with my dog and when she got off the phone she started texting on her phone walking away and that’s when I her I was there for my dog service and she had no clue I was standing there first or why I was there and the guy with the black suit was the problem cause he was the one who talked to my wife and then treated me like crap cause I was pissed cause HE made me stand outside in the heat while they serviced my dog . I did give an apology but he was so fast to deny my service after my wife already paid for it. I really felt inside he was judging me by my color treated me with disrespect by refusing my service cause a mistake or misunderstanding he did by not being clear with my wife . I was parked behind a tree with o view what so every yo see anyone flag me down at all so I took my dog to the outside door where they closed it in my face instead of offering me a waiting room to sit while they serviced my dog. These place seems like they have more joy time on their hands than customer service. As of this date me and my wife are handicap and Dr. Jessica Hagstette now is refusing our services to treat our dogs because I have spoken the truth about this company and I truly feel me and my wife are being discriminated against because we are black and spoken up about their services. She has sent me a email saying if I am ever to come there again she will call the cops on me for a mistake this company has made by being rude to customers after they already paid for their services. It went from just getting my dogs nails done to them now threatening me and ending our sevices to get our dog taken care of . It was rude and disrespectful to leave me outside with high blood pressure and handycap in over 100 degrees heat outside . This is not right at all amd I will be taking actions against this company. Me and my wife are legally handycap and to be treated like this is wrong for anyone to be treated like this . Period . They are lying they do Dont care about veterans at all . Or they would have not treated me and my wife like this .
Experiencia negativa: After deciding to put my best foot forward I spent near $900 to get my dog’s ears cropped. The process required my puppy to stay overnight for “monitoring and supervision” after the surgery. So I thought no problem, they’ll take care of him. However this was far from what transpired. I walked in to pick up my dog an hour early that morning which they said was ok & I ended up having to wait 20 minutes in a lobby with 2 people. This guy (Isaiah) who was supposed to be taking care of my puppy comes out with paperwork “are you the dog's owner” (no introduction / no name / no shaking hands - basically no customer service skills) He proceeds to inform me of the medication my dog needs to take then he goes to retrieve my dog and takes another 15 mins - once he hands me my dog I notice his stomach is greasy/ sweaty (under the impression that my dog had anxiety from the overnight stay / surgery) As soon as I enter my car I notice that sweaty grease I was feeling was dry urine and I look down at shirt to also notice a feces stain from them not wiping or cleaning him up. Just to think my 11 week old puppy was left in a holding area sitting in his feces / urine overnight is completely unacceptable - Isaiah definitely didn’t do his job so what was the $50 for the hospitalization fee was for? Now I could’ve just went back in there to confront them but considering the fact I now have a smear stain on my shirt + dry urine which felt greasy on a sunny day where my dogs crying to get home, I decided to give them a call later when I calmed down a bit. As soon I get home I had to clean him up which was a bit difficult since he had a cone on his head plus his ears wrapped. All of which could’ve been avoided if Isaiah was held accountable. Now later that day I talked to a guy named Jordan who claimed to be a manager but I’m sure he was the guy handling check - ins that day. Once I had him on the phone I explained to him the issue with some frustration using terms like “shit on my shirt and dry greasy piss on my forearm from holding my dog on the way home” but I never called him out his name & at one point he almost tried to pull the “sir the call is getting unproductive” most likely due to not having a solution/ answer to this situation & not being mature enough to handle an escalated call like a manager. I calmly explained to him that I had photos of this whole extravaganza and I’m trying to work with him, he tells me he’d give me a call back in an hour after doing some investigating. He calls back close to closing hours and misunderstood the story I told him by saying “I’m sorry your dog had had some issues on your drive back home & I talked with Isaiah, he says the dog was fine”. Well of course the guys going to say that Sherlock. I then refreshed Jordan’s memory by explaining that there was no doggy mess in my car which caused that. At this point the phone hangs up abruptly and I get left a voicemail saying he’s willing to talk about it, but at this point he hasn't offered any solutions but an apology. Honestly the only 2 solutions would be to refund the hospitalization fee which I can care less for, although it would’ve been a good gesture. Or FIRE Isaiah. So to avoid any misinterpretation or half hearted solutions I’ll be contacting the better business bureau instead. Finally I thought I’d add that me and my brother paid half on this whole ordeal & other than this incident my brother has been taking the dog in for checkups and informed me everything since has been smooth sailing other than the 20-30 minute wait times during 3pm -5pm. They’ve done an awesome job with my puppy’s ear cropping / postings hence the reason they’re getting 2 stars instead of 1.

They spayed my baby and ended up having a much complicated surgery but completed the task and cared for my baby until she was able to come home. The compassion they showed and love they have is beyond amazing. Paid a great price and had the best experience. Thank you I’m very grateful and happy

From seeing us on short notice, to transparent and efficient communication, I am extremely impressed with Camino Al Norte AH. Even down to small details--like instead of saying "have a nice day" when taking my payment, the tech apologized for my loss and gave me a hug. When you lose an animal, those extra considerations can mean a lot to the family. Thank you for being for us during the hard times!
Experiencia negativa: Last year i had a malinois who had gotten parvovirus so we took him to this vet since we have been taking all our dogs her for the past 6-7 years and this experience made me switch up on how i felt about this vet, when we first started noticing how much our malinois energy declined we took him to the vet and all they told us was that he had a upset stomach and we took him to get shots but they told us they would ask the actual “professional doctor” if they could give him shots while he was sick and they still gave him shots instead of telling us he might of had parvo virus. Then the day he passed we were waiting in the room for 20 minutes or maybe more! While my dog was laying on the floor slowly passing and when they got into the room he had already passed. And also about recently in april we took our german shepherd to get boarded there while we were in arizona and he had gotten sick in their care. He was perfectly fine before we took him. I would recommend changing your vet if you take your pets here.

Experiencia negativa: I used ChatGPT to help find the most affordable veterinary care during an emergency, as I was extremely low on funds at the time. Based on recommendations, I chose Camino Al Norte, which is about 20 minutes from my house—not exactly close, but it was listed among the top three most affordable options. Unfortunately, I had to work that day, so my partner took our dog in with my credit card to handle the bill. I was completely shocked to see the final total which was $869. This was far more than expected, especially given that this clinic was supposed to be budget-friendly. Our dog only needed sutures for a single leg laceration. Just a couple of months ago, our 15-pound mini Australian Shepherd was attacked by a German Shepherd shortly after her spay surgery. She had five lacerations, including a reopened spay incision and wounds on her abdomen and thigh. That emergency visit, with significantly more extensive treatment which only cost us $500 at a different vet. Had I known Camino Al Norte would charge almost double for a single wound, we absolutely would’ve gone back to the previous clinic. We simply couldn’t afford that kind of bill, especially in our current financial situation. To make matters worse, I had specifically requested that they not include any prescriptions, as we already had the same antibiotics at home. Despite explaining this and emphasizing our financial hardship, they refused to adjust the invoice and insisted on charging the full amount. The lack of empathy was honestly disheartening. I wouldn’t recommend this vet to anyone unless they’re rich!
Experiencia fantástica: My fur baby and I have been coming to Camino for a while now, and I can honestly say we’ve always had a great experience. Recently, my dog had to undergo a dental procedure for the first time, and I was super nervous about it. I even called the week before just to ease my nerves - and the staff was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring every step of the way. Everyone at Camino has been nothing short of amazing: attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to both pets and their humans. It’s clear they genuinely care. I trust them completely with my fur baby’s care and don’t plan on going anywhere els. Thank you, Camino staff and the wonderful Veterinarian and Vet techs that took care of my Lolis. You ladies are definitely in the right career!
Experiencia negativa: FIND ANOTHER VET!!!! Horrible office. Took my puppy in for microchip. Got him back with it hanging out of his neck!! Obviously, someone doesn't know what they are doing, and no one is paying attention. To get my refund, (which should be automatic when they saw it hanging out and then pulled it rest of the way out,) they tell me I have to come back AGAIN to make sure im not lying about him not having a microchip!!!! It was an easy procedure that was NOT done correctly & cost me more time... this leaves me wondering if all our other services were done correctly or at all.
Experiencia negativa: I have emailed the company several times and they must be too short-staffed to respond so i guess i will share my story here. I’ve been bringing both of my dogs to this clinic for years and have always trusted them with their care. But after my most recent visit, I honestly don’t think I’ll be coming back. I had an appointment for my Chihuahua to get his teeth cleaned. He’s small and naturally pretty anxious, so I expected he’d be treated with care. I arrived at 8:00 AM and checked him in around 9:00 AM. I also brought in a tooth I found at home, asking if they could confirm if it was his. I was told that wouldn’t be a problem. I waited all day for an update and heard nothing. I even left a message and didn’t get a call back. Out of concern, I went back to the office at 3:00 PM — only to find out my dog hadn’t even been seen yet. I was told they were short-staffed and had emergencies, which I totally understand. But I should have been contacted and given the option to reschedule instead of having my dog sit in a kennel for hours. He was finally ready to go home at 5:30 PM. When I was finally called, I was told my dog had lost two teeth and they wanted to pull more — for an additional cost. I declined. But when I picked him up, I found out he had actually lost four teeth. So not only was I given the wrong information, but it felt like they were trying to charge me for extractions on teeth that had already fallen out — which should never happen. What really upset me was knowing that my nervous little dog had likely been sitting in a cage all day without food or water. I was told the dogs were walked, but honestly, if they didn’t have time to make a quick phone call, I doubt they had time for that either. As for the tooth I brought in — I was told it “probably” belonged to him. Clearly no one checked. No one apologized or acknowledged the lack of communication or the stress this caused. I’ve emailed the hospital three times since, and no one has responded. if the hospital is short-staffed, that’s not something my dog should have to pay for. I used to feel good about bringing my pets here, but this experience made me feel like neither my dog nor I were treated with the care, respect, or honesty we deserved. Very disappointing.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly I use to love this place, I was taking my dog there since 2007, I had to put her down April 23, 2025. I had no issue with the care I received and the front staff has improved over the years, some of my favorite people. I had no issue with the care I received with either of my dogs. They assisted with helping them both cross over to rainbow bridge. And shout out, to the woman with blonde hair, glasses and tattoos (I know that sounds rude, but I’m overly emotional and can’t think of her name). She has always been so helpful, and knew how to tend to my dogs, and comforted me during my time of grief. She kept trying to make me laugh and smile. She needs a raise! The reason for my one star is due to them incorrectly placing my order, for my dog’s remains, specifically the one mentioned above. Her name was Cinnamon. It took me 4 days to be able to reach a supervisor. The supervisor seemed apologetic about the situation. I paid to have her remains, price of fur, ink paw print and CLAY paw print. I did NOT receive the clay paw print, which was the whole reason as to why I got that package. I wanted to be able to feel my bestfriend still, and now I will never get that. The supervisor said he could refund the $50 since I didn’t get the clay print. Which yes is nice and all, but I had her for 18 YEARS. $50 is nothing of the emotional distress I’ve been dealing with, and knowing I’ll never be able to feel her again, when I was suppose to be able to. He told me there wasn’t much more he could do and claimed the X-rays and nail trim was comped. Yes the nail trim was, but that’s only $15, and the X-rays were not comped, just changed to make it a little less expensive…still over $200 alone for the X-rays. Also I didn’t plan on putting my dog down that day, so excuse the heck outta me. Also the only reason why I got the nail trim, was because I thought I would be getting a CLAY PRINT. Otherwise I wouldn’t have done that at all. He then told me about some app for the vet, and could credit the money, for whenever I get a future pet. Sorry but I don’t plan on getting a dog for a long time, nor would I bring them there, because this is so much emotional distress, and I can’t have this happen to be again, no matter how much I loved the staff. My heart aches. He then told me that he would talk to one of the doctors, to see what more he could do, and I have yet to receive a call back. I would’ve called back, but unfortunately time waits for no one, and I haven’t been able to call them again. Regardless this is unacceptable!

Took my miniature dachshund there because she was struggling to breathe and had elastic like boogers, they supposedly did X-Rays on her, took a bunch of money from us, just to tell us “Nothing was wrong”. Took her to a different vet to figure out she had fluids in between her chest plate, pressing against her lungs. Now we might have to euthanize her.
Experiencia fantástica: We had to euthanize our senior kitty yesterday and I called Camino Al Norte Animal Hospital at 4:10 pm. They offered us to do a walk-in at 4:45 pm and took very good care of us. They allowed us time with our beloved kitty before and after the procedure and were very caring and compassionate. At no time did I feel that we were inconveniencing them by coming in so late and without an appointment. Their prices were reasonable and they explained everything to us with kindness. The staff and the Veterinarian were amazing. Thank you Camino Al Norte Animal Hospital for your fantastic services. We highly recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: My husky started having seizures. Did the whole work up, they diagnosed her with epilepsy. They put her on seizure medication. They asked if she was still having seizure to let them know so they can increase the meds (I’m a nurse I understand that it can take time to get the right dosage).. she was on twice a day extended release Keppra. Instead of increasing the dose they change it to regular Keppra 3 times a day. I expressed that I’m a nurse, live alone and work 12 hrs a day, that it’s not possible to give her meds 3 times a day.. their response “you just have to try and if she is still having seizure we can switch back to extended release and increase the dose after a check up”… I’m beyond pissed..

Experiencia negativa: They killed my cat, he was to undergo surgery to get neutered, they put him under anethsia and never woke up after that, his name was Astro and even one the workers admitted it was their fault, I’m assuming they put too much anesthesia causing him to not wake up. My family got into an arguenent with the front counter, with the workers smiling in the background as if it’s funny that they took my cats life, don’t ever go here, it is not reliable and won’t take accountability for faults, will try to blame you instead

My 13 year old cat needed emergency surgery that was done at another vet- his stitches were poorly done there, and Camino Al Norte Animal Hospital helped fix those stitches and gave him the proper care my cat Bandit needed! Every doctor, technician, and assistant at this hospital was seriously wonderful and kind, I will always recommend this location for any pet parent.

Experiencia negativa: Heartbreaking Experience – Lack of Care and Compassion I brought my dog to this veterinary clinic when he became seriously ill, and unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of disappointing. He had to stay overnight for three nights while they tried to determine what was wrong. During that time, he was completely debilitated—unable to move, bedridden, and entirely dependent on their care. When I visited him on the second day, I was devastated to find him in a heartbreaking state. Half of his face, the side he had been lying on, was covered in mucus and saliva, showing clear signs that he had been left unattended for hours. It was evident that no one had taken the time to clean him up, offer him comfort, or treat him with even the basic dignity he deserved. While the staff may put on a friendly front, my experience proved otherwise. Their actions spoke louder than their smiles, and it was clear to me that genuine compassion was lacking. No pet should be treated this way, especially in a place that is supposed to provide care. It’s deeply upsetting to think that a facility entrusted with the well-being of animals could operate with such indifference. I would never want to see a loved one—human or animal—subjected to this level of neglect. If you're looking for a vet who truly cares, I strongly recommend finding another facility.

They don’t seem to be in the same page. Once schedules me for a 2nd vaccine only to be told we were scheduled 3 days to early. I took hours out of work to make it to our appt.to be told we can’t be seen because it’s not time. I call for a grooming (as it’s also on your website). I was told it’s walk in service, so I bring my pup down to be informed that it’s not offered, “we’re a hospital”. My last visit I was given a price so please help me understand?

We took her back and they tried to charge us for an exam. They front desk ladies are super rude and demanding. Do not go here. They don't care about your pets!

Darian was so kind and patient with me. I am a disabled army veteran with hearing loss. Darian spoke slowly and louder for me to hear. Experiencia negativa: They killed my baby!!!! I brought my 8 month frenchie there because she was having vomiting and seizures. They refused to see her before paying so i then paid they seen her for 3 mins said there that it was something she ate -and asked me for $1800 to run a blood test. I left and took my puppy to Animal kindness vet they were absolutely amazing I can’t express how helpful they were. Unfortunately my puppy had been electrocuted from chewing on a lamp. The doctor stated that if a proper inspection of her gums and attention to her symptoms would have been done no blood test was necessary they would have known what the issue was and she could have been saved. Unfortunately i did have to put my baby down.i went back there to tell them that they did not help my dog and the vet stated to me that she had no knowledge of the seizures? I was there 2 days in a row for this and they did NOTHING to help. And refused to give me my money back for no treatment. I do not recommend this place at all. And will be switching my vet. My dog who was scared to go to the vet for the second time was barking in the exam room when tech came in was immediately labeled as a vicious dog per the dr. Then they refused to get close to her and wouldn't even examine her but still charged for the exam fee.
Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this vet. I have been made to wait over 4 hours for fairly simple services. People who came in over a hour after me without an appointment were serviced before me, and the office staff couldn’t explain to me why. Also, the costs for all of their services have practically doubled over the past few years. Take your pet somewhere else if you don’t have an entire day and thousands of dollars to spend for a single visit.

We love Camino Al Norte and Dr. Morales has been amazing with Jett...and the cats...but cats don't want to be anywhere. The front desk staff and vet tech today were amazing too! Thanks so much for taking great care of our pets! We appreciate you all very much! Update: Yesterday, 11/18/22, was the worst day! What started as a simple vaccination, 2 years from the day we got her from a person that had adopted her from Animal Foundation, ended with a trip to the urgent care and ER... and having to say goodbye to our baby girl. Nothing ok about any of it, the vet and vet tech dealing with us....amazing! I am sorry she was vicious and you witnessed what you did! Thank you for taking care of your impromptu human patient and cleaning up! When I came back with my husband and kids later in the day, Cynthia approached me in the parking lot offering authentic well wishes, a hug, and kept her composure as my kids were pleading for things to be different. We don't understand the behavior Journey sometimes exhibited to strangers and outsiders, but we thank you for taking the best care of us, always. Even when it is hard. Really hard. We appreciate each of you! This place has been AMAZING since we showed up to have our new cat's microchip scanned almost 2 years ago. Huge shout out to everyone we have encountered along the way. We have nothing but great things to say..and we now have two cats! Our Journey can be a handful and does not like cat sitters coming to our house...at all. Our first time boarding at this office, she was skittish. Cynthia chatted with me before the second time and sent me an email when Journey finally warmed up on day 3, and the 3rd time she warmed up pretty much right away. They sent me another email with pics. It is awesome to know our babies are in excellent hands and at home away from home! Cynthia, you are amazing! Vanessa and Sarah, you are wonderful too! Everyone else we don't have names for...thanks to you too! We are so grateful for the time and attention you are giving Odie and Journey. We highly recommend you to our friends and anyone needing services! This place is not close to our home (closest to where we got our cat), but 100% worth the drive. We will always try to board with them first! We also love reasonable prices although I was charged a higher daily fee this time. I just boarded them two weeks ago? This place is the best! They will accommodate walk-ins in a timely manner too.

Experiencia negativa: Please beware of this place. I needed last Parvo shot for my sons dog who resides in CA and was looking for a cheapest place who can do so without doctors check. I called Camino Al Norte Animal Hospital at 5130 Camino al Norte,North Las Vegas,NV 89031 and was quoted $15 for Parvo shot and no doctors visit charge. Actually a day before the visit I called again and was confirmed: no doctors charge and $15 Parvo shot. When we came, I was placed in the room and the doctor came, which is regular procedure, doctor have to see puppy before shot. For about 15 minutes we had to listen sales pitch from Dr. Lockhart about how important vaccines are, and which one we must get. She didn't even touched the puppy, only when she took him for a confirmed only Parvo shot. When we came to the reception, we've being charged $85 for doctor visit and $30 for vaccine which is come in the same vial containing Parvo and Distemper, and cannot be physically separated, but in this clinic they did separated it "mentally" and charging $15 for Parvo and $15 for Distemper.This never happened in our long life as a multiple dog owners. Also on the reception, they are saying they have no idea who told me on the phone about $15 and no doctor's visit charge, even it looks like there is only one person is answering the phone. I cannot call this visit anything besides an insulting of my I intelligence and simple Fraud. I refused to pay all other charges besides $15 for Parvo shot. They told me to leave without even providing Original "sticker" proof of vaccination like every other clinics do. I heard from people that Las Vegas is a different territory when it comes to finding good and honest service, and today's visit was a solid confirmation of that. These dishonest and rude people should be staying away from the animal connected business. Really disappointed. VK

Dr. H examined him gave him some anti inflation and pain meds. A few hours later he was acting his normal self. The staff does the best as they do get really busy.

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE OF IDENTITY THEFT AS THEY ARE NOT PROTECTING YOUR SENSITIVE INFORMATION!!!! I, and therefore my animal, were refused service because I would not allow the front staff to make and keep a copy of my driver's license. Animal has been seen at this vet accompanied by myself or my husband (who hasn't let them have a copy of his license) for 5+ years for dental surgery, cleanings, vaccines, injury, etc. The visit was for an injury that required a deep laceration be treated and closed. When I informed the staff I was happy to show my ID as I have always done they would not accept. They stated if I used a credit card they needed my ID. I informed them I'd be paying cash as my last visit they said I'd have to pay cash if I wouldn't allow them to keep a copy of my ID. I asked how they were protecting PII of their customers, they stated they just keep it on file and that they have no legal requirements to protect PII (as your driver's license number is considered PII). One short Google search later and I was showing them NRS 603A...... They have made it a norm to require you give them copies of your ID when it is unneeded. If you want to make sure I am who I am requesting services for my animal check my ID. Want to make sure I am using my credit card, check my ID. ITS THAT EASY! While companies like AT&T and National Public Data are getting hacked 2.9B social security numbers stollen be weary of who you allow to maintain records or your personal data.
Experiencia negativa: ALL LARGE BREED OWNERS: If I could give this place zero stars I would. After the experience I had today, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Will NOT be coming back. I've been coming here with my 5-10 lb Yorkies for about a year because their schedule to get seen is the most convenient for my lifestyle. In April I got an 8-week old rottweiler puppy. I called their staff and asked if they are a clinic that muzzles them by default and they said no. Today I brought in my now 6-month old rottie for an ear infection. He's 75lbs, but the sweetest boy. Dr. Shelby Morales came into the room and was instantly scared because of his size and because of his breed. There are no other pointers to why she didn't attempt to comfort the dog. Didn't talk to me at all, just got down to his level hoping he'd come to her. Of course he wouldn't, they're strangers and he's scared. She didnt ask for help or ecen talk to me. She tried to put the swab into his ear, and he cried, peed, and gave an attempt at a scared puppy nibble. I finished swabbing his ears with no problem, and they left the room. Her vet tech comes back with a cost estimate, and I see the charge for "exam consultation" on the sheet. I asked that if I'm going to be charged for a vet exam consultation, you could at least do an exam. Mind you, they DIDN'T EVEN OFFER TO DO ONE. Vet tech leaves, comes back and says the Vet said she'd do one if they can muzzle him, to which I refused. He didn't pose a threat. They didn't care to talk to his owner or just be a normal human being prior to trying to swab his ear. I asked would they muzzle a kid if he was doing the same thing to a doctor? No, you would make attempts at rapport prior to doing what you need to do Not only did they fail to treat my dog with any respect or dignity prior to attempting to swab his ear, the Vet didn't even come back to discuss how the infection may have happened. Gave the vibe of "take this medicine and leave." Didn't even attempt to come see my dog. Not once was he aggressive. The staff here doesn't give a damn about your dogs well being, they just want your money. We will NOT be coming back.
Experiencia fantástica: I would like to thank Camino El Norte Veterinary for the excellent services the provide to my 11 yr old rescue Seri. I walked in for immunizations and a dental cleaning consultation expecting to wait hours. Front staff was very friendly and got me in a room in less than 30 min. I met Dr. Rodriguez a kind and very informative vet. She agreed to service Seri immediately. Seri got her dental cleaning only to discover at cleaning Seri had a broken back tooth with pulp exposure. I am very please with my pets care and the follow up call the next day. My Seri is back to her old self wagging her tail and active once again. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

Before hand she gave me plenty of time to say goodbye. She explained everything that was going to happen before the process started, and during the procedure . If euthanasia is something that is the most humane choice for your pet, I highly recommend Dr. Rodrigues. The staff was also incredibly empathetic and helpful.

My dog received the very best care from Dr. Crouse and Dr. Morales. They were both wonderful. Dr. Crouse immediately identified what was causing my dog trouble with her hind legs. She thoroughly examined my dog in my presence which meant everything to me! She was knowledgeable and informative. Dr. Morales was also thorough and knowledgeable. Both were very up front but compassionate. There’s not enough thanks to give to them for relieving my dog of pain and discomfort. Thank you so much!
Experiencia fantástica: My sweet angel Bella was deathly ill for 5 days. The previous vet did not treat her well. We found CANAH and rushed her there 5 minutes before closing. Dr Hagstette (the director) saw our Bella immediately and hospitalized her overnight. When we came in the next day, the doctor said there was something attacking her internal organs. My husband and I talked about it, and agreed to let her go to sleep. They had a quiet, private room ready for us and we were able to lay with her on a blanket while the medicine was administered. The hospital took care of her remains so we weren't burdened during our grief. Everyone was so kind and compassionate. We recently got a new puppy and will be going to CRAH for now on. Fly high sweet angel. Victoria was so helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate. She is one of the reasons we chose CANAH as our primary vet care hospital❤️

My dog suffered horribly for 24 hours because of this place.I was instructed to cut back on seizure meds which sent my dog into an uncontrollable cluster of seizures for 24hours straight. Brought her in for intervenes keppa which is a anti -convusant. After 400$ she was sent home with me and I was given pills to give her when she wakes up. She was actively still convulsing even when she was sent home.They never gave her intervenes keppa. I proceeded to call around trying to find a place to buy some valuim suppositories of which they made it as hard as humanly possible to get them after I found a pharmacy that had some. 400 later those still didn't work. What emergency vet clinic doesn't carry intervenes anti-convulsant. They are ill prepared and showed very little compassion for my dog and the situation at hand. They were very quick to charge alot of money for doing nothing though. Don't bring your pet here whatever you do. Don't believe the fake reviews.

Experiencia positiva: We've been taking our animals here for about 8 years now. The staff is friendly & they do seem to care about your animals. The only downfall is the wait time. This isn't the first time they had placed us in a room and forgotten we were there. This latest time I went to the front desk after 45mins and was told they forgot we were in the room & they were very sorry. They did get the vet quickly after that. However, it's really disappointing to sit in a room that long and have multiple ppl walk by your room... see you... comment on your cat... and still forget about you. I think they should find a system that may prevent this in the future.
Experiencia negativa: Updated: This place is deplorable. Hold times just to ask a general question or to make an appointment is absolutely unsat as well as the wait time to be seen. Nobody passes information to each other nor do they look at the dog’s records before hand so you’ll have to constantly repeat yourself for no reason. Constantly giving you conflicting information from what the Vet says to do. There’s no structure at all. I got a weird phone call not even a day or two later after I drop my dog off for boarding saying her face swelled up. She was there to get better attention for an ear infection. She didn’t look like this before I dropped off so what happened?! You have people there 24/7 that are supposed to be overseeing all animals left in your care. As well as there should be cameras. How does this happen over night unless you failed to do something properly and you’re trying to cover it up. When I asked for more photos and an explanation I get nothing, but yet you have no problem having me pay more for medication to solve this supposed unknown problem. Stay away from this place at all cost! Or you’ll end up with a dead dog.
Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful staff ,very patient and compassionate to furbabys parents..my German Shepherd is hyper anxiety and they handled her with love after her seizure..even though i wasn't put as primary owner so I could be contacted after test they said no you'll be contacted..well I wasn't wrong person was called,I was upset I told them this would happen..but it eventually got fixed ..I'll still go here , because how they treated my Athena..that's important thank you Dr Rodriguez.
