Experiencia fantástica: My great experience started with the front desk staff. They were very pleasant and informative on the phone before we even arrived. When we got there, the facility was very clean and welcoming. Nurse Brittany was assigned to us, and she was amazing. She explained each step of the process while being personable and friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. She took great care of our dog and made the whole visit much easier. The entire staff was wonderful and treated us and our dog so well. We truly appreciated the care and kindness we received. They also had a tv, games and hot chocolate station for the kids.

Experiencia fantástica: We just left this facility and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it! We came in with our dog and the way they handled everything, we couldn’t ask for more. Immediately, they were all friendly with him, gentle with him because they could tell he was nervous, and they were so kind with us. They explained everything with so much detail, they got us right on track on what we need to do moving forward, and they all were so professional. You could tell they were proud to work there. With an emergency or urgent care you need, I HIGHLY suggest this place and ONLY this place. Dr. Reinhart is fantastic! She really knows what she is doing with these animals. Experiencia fantástica: Despite the stress of needing to go here, this was an amazing visit. Long story short my little dog is fine. I did expect it to be expensive but I made sure to look into all of the emergency vets near me (Southern Indiana). Bloomington was closest but the reviews weren't great. I woke up at 530 and scheduled her appt for 815 (earliest available). I drove an extra half an hour this morning (compared to the distance to Bloomington) and got there 40 minutes before they opened. They even let us in 15 minutes early so we didn't have sit in the car. EVERYONE at VSP was so amazing! Not once did I feel rushed or like they were trying to sell me a bunch of unneeded tests. My total did come to $527 (I expected it to be more actually based on reviews from other clinics), which is rough because money is very tight, but it's worth it knowing my dog will be ok. I hope Hamilton the cat that came in as we were leaving is okay! Thank you so much everyone at VSP!

Experiencia fantástica: Our sweet cat gave us quite the scare. we literally thought she was dying. the staff here was EXCELLENT and took such good care of her. it turned out to just be a nasty tooth infection in a very dramatic girl but they were so calming and wonderful. we absolutely recommend them!!

Experiencia fantástica: This was absolutely the best animal emergency hospital I have ever been to. They were attentive, reassuring and kept me updated. They didn't demand money upfront and pymt every 30min. Their concern was taking care of the momma cat and 4 babies i found in my garage. The cord had become entangled around the 4 babies. I was extremely upset at a loss as what to do to help her. They were so nice and I knew they had her and the babies best interests above all things. I cannot say enough. how grateful I am to them for saving her and babies. These are Vets that truly care about animals. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: I have typed and deleted so many times.I cannot express how wonderful the staff is here. We unexpectedly had to put down and cat and they felt our pain. They went above and beyond to make an extremely difficult time painless as possible. They gave us time to spend with her, to stay and grieve. They didnt rush us. Experiencia positiva: I’ve used them twice. The first time, they were great. From the front desk to the techs to the vet. I could really tell they cared for my dog and they weren’t trying to get money out of me. However, the second time wasn’t as great. The front desk and the techs were great. They loved on my dog so well and I felt okay with them in his care. The vet not so much. I brought my dog in for a possible impaction. The vet spent 10 minutes telling me my dog is overweight before even getting to my concern. I tried explaining that he sees his regular vet monthly and all diet things are watched by that vet, just trying to get past that and get to the main issue. She responded with “you came here for my opinion”. Yes I did about a possible impaction not to waste time about his weight. It made me feel as his best interest weren’t the priority at the moment and made me uncomfortable.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been putting this review off for some time because I wanted to be sure I was level headed and rational beforehand. I wouldn’t come to this clinic again even if you paid me to. My dog had an ultrasound while at this clinic and when I arrived to pick him up i waited over an hour for him to be brought to me, i had to ask for him again. I got him home and realized they had entirely shaved off four of his nipples which they then argued with me about and said they were just nicked and had they been shaved off would have bled profusely. Well they kept him an entire hour after they told me he was ready, so perhaps they were stopping the bleeding? Either way his nipples are NO LONGER THERE. During the consultation with Scott Rizzo (internist and clinic owner) he rudely told me that he didn’t want to even test my dog for the issues he thought he has if i wasn’t willing or able to spend $4,000 a year treating said issues. While i agree that cost is an absolutely necessary conversation to have with clients, being preemptively rude and presumptuous about a client’s desire or ability to finance a suspected issue is such terrible bedside manner. Even if a client is unable to afford treatment, testing may still be desired and that should not be subject to Scott’s judgmental attitude. Speaking of cost, if you thought private equity was bad, a clinic who models their business off private equity is even worse. This clinic has apparently decided to charge 2-4x the cost of labs (finding the 2025 fee schedule for the labs they use is incredibly easy btw) despite not having to do so. $300+ for a lab that costs them $92 is insane. Upcharging a medication by $140+ is also insane, not to mention the online pharmacy they use is SLOW and you almost certainly will not get medications on time. Not only are they ridiculously priced but when you have genuine concerns and questions they will use CHAT GPT to incorrectly respond to you. They labeled our dog with an 8/9 body condition score (our regular vets said he is a little over 6/9) and then switched him to a low fat food for pancreatitis. They instructed me to feed him what equaled over 1400 calories of the new food. I asked them if this was correct because he was previously eating closer to 1100 calories and i thought giving more calories to a dog labeled as ‘obese’ didn’t make sense. They then used Chat GPT to incorrectly explain to me that 1400 calories of a less calories dense food was less calories than 1100 calories. I’m no mathematician but the math isn’t mathing there. Whoever in their office responded with Chat GPT did not even take the time to remove the tale-tale AI response signs from the email. If you have a pet who needs a specialist, find a different one who isn’t just trying to fund their vacations. I’m sure the vet techs actually do care about your animals but i bet they aren’t being compensated appropriately despite this clinic charging so much. If you have a pet who needs emergency care, just take them to an emergency vet so you aren’t spending money at both VSP and the e-vet. The AI response is attached so you can see how ridiculous this response was.

First, regarding your dog’s ultrasound visit and discharge timing: while we always aim to have patients ready promptly, delays can occur if additional monitoring or care is required to ensure a patient is stable and comfortable prior to discharge. With respect to the shaved area, ultrasound preparation does require clipping hair in the abdominal region, which can sometimes include the area surrounding the mammary chain. While we understand how concerning this appearance can be, canine nipples cannot be “shaved off,” and our medical team did not note any trauma to the skin or nipples after shaving.

We are also sorry that your consultation with Dr. Rizzo felt uncomfortable. Cost discussions are an essential part of specialty care, particularly when managing chronic conditions, as they help ensure diagnostic and treatment plans align with a client’s expectations and long-term goals. Our intent is never to be judgmental, but rather transparent, so that clients can make informed decisions about care.

Regarding pricing, our fees reflect the true cost of providing specialty-level medicine, including advanced diagnostics, specialized training, equipment, staffing, and medical oversight. Our laboratory and medication pricing falls within industry standards for specialty practices and is consistent with typical veterinary markup models. Comparing raw lab costs alone does not account for interpretation, medical expertise, equipment maintenance, staffing, and overhead required to deliver timely and accurate results.

With respect to nutrition recommendations, the caloric calculations provided to you were correct. Prescription low-fat diets often differ significantly in caloric density from over-the-counter foods, meaning a larger volume of food may be required to meet a patient’s daily caloric needs. While the total volume may appear higher, the calorie calculation itself was accurate and appropriate for your dog’s medical needs. We regret any confusion in how this was explained and understand how important clear communication is in these situations.

Finally, we want to address your concern regarding the use of AI. While we may use tools to assist with drafting responses, all medical recommendations and communications are reviewed and guided by our trained veterinary professionals. We apologize if any response felt impersonal or unclear, as that is never our intention.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been there now 4 times, each with a different dog. They don't push anything and they tell you the price before they do anything. The staff is wonderful and I don't feel ripped off. I only knew of this place because my veterinarian office couldn't get me in and I my dog needed urgent care. Experiencia fantástica: I had an issue with my Doberman and needed for her to be seen the same day. My vet could not get her in so they suggested I take her here. This is an amazing veterinary clinic and urgent care! I simply walked in! They were very kind and efficient in diagnosing her issue. While I was in the waiting room I met a gentleman who drives an hour specifically to see a vet there. It was not super close to where I live but will use this as my emergent needs vet! The waiting area is very large so as to create space between waiting animals to be seen. Also, the exam room was very large and very nice creating an exceptional experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I had to take my cat here on New Year's Eve because of some urinary tract issues he was having. On the phone they were transparent about pricing, and made it clear that he would be checked immediately for blockages. Thankfully his case turned out to be minor, so I waited for about an hour in a room, where a vet tech and Dr. McGill communicated very well about his situation. They listened and explained everything very thoroughly. They were gentle and friendly, which I really appreciated! The pricing was fair, I got a lot of treatment for my cat, and I was expecting to pay a lot more. I would highly recommend this urgent care, and I will be returning should my cat need help again!

Experiencia fantástica: THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC (I've had bad experiences with other businesses in order to have this range of comparison). I was recommended here because my dog's PCP vet couldn't squeeze her in. It was quick and easy to book a same day appointment online. From the moment I walked in, all staff members I encountered were welcoming, patient, and accommodating for my dog and myself. Everything was clean and nicely furnished/decorated. The care my dog received was thorough and I felt as if they truly cared about her comfort and health. I wasn't able to follow all of the recommendations due to $ (the pricing was not outrageous, especially for an urgent care, but it is Christmas time), but I wasn't made to feel guilty or ashamed. Amanda was very sweet and understanding. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend to anyone for urgent pet needs. Hope my baby stays well, but if not, I know where I'm coming in case of an emergency.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s a difficult review to write, as we lost our beloved cat Louie unexpectedly. But, in case you’re up on the middle of the night using Google to look up places to take your pet, try to go here. On Halloween, my seemingly healthy cat was acting very sick and I made an appointment on line for him to be seen first thing. We were treated with care and concern from intake. When the diagnosis was very bad, the Dr and tech showed amazing compassion and offered all types of support. The choices of testing, treatment and cost were all offered and up front. The process of euthanasia (which we usually have the mobile vet do at home) was a good as it could be. I was beyond impressed and very thankful. Their follow up in the mail was just so appreciated. Experiencia fantástica: The staff here is so awesome!! We were traveling for the holiday when our english bulldog's tummy started to get upset. We were nervous and wanted to make sure everything was ok. We had already planned to stop in Louisville for the night and looked for pet urgent care around our hotel, called this place, and they were able to get us in around the same time we would be rolling into town!! Right when we checked in, the front desk receptionist, Taylor, was extremely welcoming. They remembered that we had said we were traveling so they offered us some water, coffee and even showed us where the bathroom was. We waited less than 5 minutes and the amazing tech, Brittany, took us back. They were also extremely welcoming and reassuring. We saw Dr. Emilee and she was great as well!! All were very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. We felt that our pup was getting the care and attention she deserves. We were able to get the peace of mind we were wanting to continue on with our trip back home. The pricing was not bad either. Another emergency vet quoted us almost double the price than this one quoted us. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Experiencia fantástica: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t say enough wonderful things about this veterinary urgent care. Our family recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our ferret to sleep. To many, she might have “just been a ferret,” but to us, she was a deeply loved part of our family. We had called around to several vets, and none would see her—until we found this place. It was late at night and from the moment I called, they were kind, gentle, and compassionate. They told us to come in right away. When my husband arrived, they immediately took him to a room and never once made him put her down, he was able to hold her the entire time. The staff treated her and us with such tenderness and respect. They even packaged her so carefully afterward, made a little nose print and paw print for our daughters, and a few weeks later, we received the sweetest sympathy card in the mail. In one of the hardest moments our family has faced, they showed us so much care and compassion. I’ll forever be grateful for the way they treated us and our sweet girl. Thank you to the entire staff!!

Experiencia fantástica: Our Great Dane, Ivy, recently had a tail amputation at her regular vets office. It started bleeding a bit more than I found normal after regular business hours, so to be safe I stopped by VSP to make sure everything was OK. Ivy is TERRIFIED-I mean 120 pounds of shaking like a leaf- terrified of the vet, and suffers bad separation anxiety. VSP was quick to make changes to accommodate Ivy’s needs, and didn’t make her or myself feel like a burden. The craziest part?! They checked her out, eased my mind, and didn’t even charge me for an exam fee! This place is a great example of true excellent customer service. If any of my four legged babies ever need urgent care again, I will be bringing them to VSP without hesitation.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred here by my local vet for an emergency on my cat, Sparky. I called ahead and told them I was coming and that it was urgent. As soon as I got through the doors, he was taken back and worked on in seconds and although his circumstances lead to the decision of euthanasia with no chance of recovery, I had a grief counselor helping me through process. Experiencia fantástica: They truly care about your fur babies. It isn’t just a job. They probably saved my yorkies vision. Got him right in, after metro left me sitting in a car for hours. Treated him with love, care and me with empathy. Followed up with vet today, his cornea is all scratched and has an ulcer, from it being left to scratch his eyeball for hours. My Vet said it definitely was an emergency and could have ended so much worse. Experiencia negativa: I have a 12 yr old Lab/Shepherd mix , diagnosed with cancer. The staff and vets seem very knowledgeable and I respect their diagnosis. Very expensive though. $184 for visit and over $300 for bloodwork. A labs life expectancy is 12 yrs. They wanted to charge me between $1400and $2400 for further tests. No treatment , just tests. I was told medication would be about $600 a month in addition to possible surgery , Chemotherapy, and much more. When we left we weren’t given an itemized list of the costs. I called and was e-mailed what a list of the diagnosis. I also noticed, cameras in the room where we waited. I found that strange. I’m sure these people do wonderful work , but I would have had to spend thousands of dollars to possibly give my dog between a few months and possibly a year from what I’ve read. If you can afford their services, I’m sure you’ll be satisfied with them , but I honestly think vets tend to pull at your heart strings as tight as they can , knowing all the while your pet has a life expectancy and quite frankly , I think there’s no way to lengthen that . Spending thousands will not buy time from the inevitable. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend this place for urgent care. I am from out of state, and my dog was bitten by another dog. I called, and they were helpful on the phone to advise if I should come in as I was staying an hour away. I took my dog in, and immediately the facility was inviting, clean and orderly. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The vet tech and Dr were amazing at assessing the situation with both my dog and my emotions. They were kind, understanding and transparent about everything. The cost of the visit was incredibly reasonable and would have easily cost 3x as much where I live. If I were to ever need urgent or veterinary services while here again, this will be the place I take my fur baby. Absolutely amazing staff. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby!

Experiencia negativa: My husband brought our dog here on a Sunday for a suspected UTI, and I found out over the phone that they didn’t allow him back in the exam room with our very anxious dog. I expressed right away that I was not okay with this practice (as I’ve had several dogs over 15+ years and never been kept away from them during an exam unless there are scans or bloodwork being done) but my husband stayed, in hopes the experience wouldn’t take long. Our dog has been prescribed trazadone premedication for vet visits due to her anxious nature, and is still under a year old. We brought our own urine sample for ease of appointment, yet our dog was kept behind closed doors for 2 hours for a simple exam (no bloodwork, no scans, and our provided sample was not tested during this time). After my husband checked in several times asking for updates or to be reunited with our dog, I finally demanded (over the phone) to have our dog back and asked for no other tests to be done other than our provided sample so we could leave as soon as possible. I later found from a visit to our regular (certified fear-free) vet for follow-up, she is visibly and audibly more nervous (shaking, crying, tail tucked, panting). When I told them about our experience at this place and that they kept our dog for 2 hours without letting us back with her, they said their notes revealed they tried to put a muzzle on her - to which I was completely mortified. Our dog has never shown signs of aggression to warrant a muzzle, she had no tests done to warrant a muzzle, I was never asked if she’s ever worn a muzzle, nor did I (or would I ever) consent to them doing this. I am devastated and heartbroken that we chose this place for urgent weekend treatment as we may never be able to undo the damage they caused to our nervous dog’s confidence. Since leaving this review, we we have spoken directly with members of VSP staff who have expressed their understanding of our position, and I do believe that their intentions were genuine in caring for our pet, which I appreciate. However, it is not the approach we would choose for our pets (even in an urgent care setting). Situations like this one can easily be avoided if the human and pet are kept together when the vet does a simple exam, not just because the pet may be more comfortable while waiting, but because humans are the only voice for their pets- to either opt out of procedures they do not want to out them through (like a muzzle) or be able to provide a more thorough history if the vet is concerned about a bite risk.

Experiencia negativa: Third update: If you leave a honest negative review on Facebook, they block you and remove the review. How very honest of them. Total scammers and terrible people. Trying to blame their mistakes and faults on my emotions surrounding a “difficult diagnosis”. Gaslighting at its finest. Second Update: I spent $2000 and this vet misdiagnosed my cat. She is now on the proper chemotherapy and I can only imagine how bad it would have been had we followed his advice. GAMBLE at your own risk with this place! UPDATE: Apparently if you leave a negative review, regardless of how truthful it is, they send you a very formal letter saying they are no longer willing to see you in any of their locations. Honestly, as if I would trust the care of my animals to these heartless egomaniacs. As I said in my review, if you’re thinking of taking your pet here, FIND ANY OTHER VET! THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! Highly suggest finding literally any other vet. First visit resulted in an all day process that culminated in medication confusion that took an hour to figure out. Every time the tech came back, another medicine was missing or wrong. No doctor was available to correct the mistakes. So I waited. A particularly important compound was to be sent to me within an hour of leaving but that never occurred. It wasn’t until the following day that I got that text. Which was then followed up by the vet calling me, not to ask about the patient, not to apologize, not even to offer help, but to insist I was “absolutely wrong” and that he never, ever promised anything within an hour (he did). He apparently has a massive ego complex and chose to take it out on me that morning. How this person completes his job with such lack of basic care for a serious situation is beyond me. But I’m positive he really enjoys those nice big paychecks. Medications I’ve been getting filled for months at other offices cost three times as much here. So be prepared for that. And don’t expect any after visit care instructions. You won’t get those either. Although I’m sure I was promised those. And also be sure you read that little folder they give you when you check in. If you ever have a problem, the “doc” will have no problem belittling you for not reading through it and memorizing every policy. I’m sure I’ll get another angry call after posting this. Just wanted to save anyone out there that cares about their pet the grief of having to deal with this person. 1/10 rating. And the one I’m giving is because the vet tech was one of the best I’ve ever had.

We also sincerely apologize for any miscommunication you may have encountered. Please know that we strive to provide timely and comprehensive care for each patient, but internal medicine workups can be quite involved. Similar to human medicine, they require a thoughtful and thorough process—this includes a complete physical examination, reviewing your pet’s full medical history, understanding what treatments have or haven’t worked, and planning for both the present and future needs of your pet.

This level of detail means that appointments can be longer than expected, and every case is approached with the same care and attention. We do our best not to rush this process because we believe every pet deserves that dedicated time and attention.

In addition, our Internists prepare extensive documentation for each patient, which can take time. We understand how overwhelming this process may feel during a visit, which is why we provide detailed paperwork ahead of your appointment to help set expectations.

Regarding the compounded medication, we do not control the pharmacy’s policies, but we always aim to assist however possible. The timing around the holiday weekend unfortunately added to the delay. Because compounded medications must be specially made, they typically require 2–3 days to prepare before they can be shipped. We were able to have the medication compounded locally so help offset the shipping time, since this particular medication is not one we are able to stock or dispense ourselves.

Experiencia fantástica: Vsp in my experience was excellent. I arrived yesterday with a kitten i had found in the road the night prior. Among arrival due to her condition they took her back immediately. They walked me through the entire process if what was to come. Possible next steps for her. And options for me in terms of the kittens well being. The nurse was wonderful. She was so insanely kind and generous and made my experience there much more comfortable for not only me but baby kitten too. She helped explain my options and didnt push me to make certain decisions. They walked me through estimated pricing for that current visit and potential visits to arise. they made it entirely clear everything was up to me and what I saw best for little baby kitten. The doctor also walked me through every detail of what they could provide for her. They gave me ample amount of time to make my decisions, even brought the kitty back to me while I was working through what could be best for her. Her condition was too far gone unfortunately and they truly did everything in their power to help her. As much as I would've loved to keep her we chose to put her to sleep. They made me comfortable with this process and once again gave me ample amount of time to say goodbye to her. They are sending me her little inked paw prints in the mail and assured me they spread her ashes in their pet garden. Which I think is so special that they honor them in that way. My experience there was nothing short of wonderful. Though it was terribly sad they made it much more comforting for me and baby kitten and I am so grateful and will continue to brag on them. Experiencia fantástica: We took our dog here for back pain on the weekend (prior history of disc disease). The facility is super clean, friendly staff, they saw us within minutes of our appointment. The doctor came in and went over a plan. She did not push us to do unnecessary tests and provided us with medicine to treat his pain. This was a great place to go when we were unable to get him into his regular vet. We were pleased with the pricing as well for the ability to be seen at that quickly and leave with the treatment he needed.

Experiencia negativa: I completely recant my initial three star review, after going to another vet, And getting proper treatment . I took my dog here at VSP per Bannons' recommendation. VSP misdiagnosed our dog with pancreatitis, he was put on expensive medications and a low-fat diet. I was charged $1,000 for to not Do a $10 test. We were here about 5 hours. His test were all normal. The only thing vsp did correctly was give him fluids when he was severely dehydrated. I thought To myself, "State of the art facility" and "look at all the other great reviews" But the truth is, you're being over-charged for things like fluids, shots, and round after round of testing. It took Dr Joyce at shively 5 minutes to tell my dog had whip worms... 5 minutes, and about a couple hundred bucks! After VSP ran blood test, And a pancreatitis test, That all came back normal, the vet at VSP told me that he may even be diabetic, but It was most likely pancreatitis. Putting him on a low-fat diet, When he really DESPERATELY needed calories. I thought they would rectify The situation after I made them aware of the correct issue, I even had an appointment to see the specialty doctor there next (The husband and wife owners are The specialty doctors) where I would have probably spent thousands more. I asked for a partial refund, Not for the medication or even the visit, But for the extra unnecessary rounds of testing, after wasting my time for 2 days, the manager Just told me they would use this as " coaching moment"... what a joke! Will it still be a teaching moment if someone loses their beloved pet, over something completely preventable and treatable? No accountability. Please, take my advice, Get a second opinion, And sometimes a third.

During your visit, we recommended a fecal test, which could have detected whipworms, but we understand you declined this due to recent over-the-counter deworming. It’s important to note that many of these dewormers don’t cover whipworms, and fecal testing remains the most reliable way to detect such parasites.

We also want to clarify that our practice owners are not a husband-and-wife team, but rather dedicated board-certified internists focused on providing the best care for our patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Earlier this week we decided to get a second opinion for our Fern. She began having some health issues and we knew something more had to be wrong than her vet was able to find so we googled urgent cares and hospitals. We ran across VSP and I read reviews and decided we would take our Fern there. Unfortunately, they found out that she had cancer and was going to probably suffer the rest of her days and recommended that she be put to sleep. This was an extremely hard decision for our family because we absolutely love Fern like a family member and I literally cried all week. The staff at VSP has been nothing but compassionate and empathetic to our family and to Fern. They treated Fern so sweet. Unfortunately, Fern is no longer with us but I cannot imagine taking my pets anywhere else for emergencies in the future. We chose cremation for Fern so that we could bring her home with our family and we received a plaque with her paw print and her name on it. I of course cried when I saw it! It was beautiful! I highly, highly recommend VSP. If I could give them 10 stars I would! To the staff: Thank you for taking your job seriously and for understanding that the loss of our pet was like a loss of a family member and treating us as such. We cannot thank you enough for that.

Experiencia fantástica: You never want to end up in urgent care but we had a great experience here. Less than an hour wait on a Saturday when I expected hours. Very friendly staff. They presented all treatment options & then gave price estimates with no judgement on if you wanted to do all of it or just partial. The cost was very reasonable for urgent care. We live 30 mins away & will choose them in the future for any urgent needs.

Experiencia fantástica: The team at VSP Urgent Care did a wonderful job helping us with our dog Bear. From the first phone call we made to have him seen with Dr. Stello and go through testing, to finding out he was not going to survive flipping his stomach along with other ailments at the same time at his senior age. They had a lovely private room where I could lay with Bear for his last hours before they gave him the medicine to pass on to the other side. They held my hand through the entire process with such kindness and care, I could have not asked for a better team to work with our fur baby at the end of his life.

Experiencia fantástica: This will be long but ultimately the best service and people I’ve ever crossed path with. Hands down. Thank you a million times. If I could give a million stars I would. Just a few weeks ago we had an emergency with our cat where I took her to one vet that morning and went home. she declined worse so my husband and I called around and he told me to take her here. He said the gentleman he spoke to on the phone was sincere and very welcoming. I got here and there were 2 others in front of us. The lobby was clean, it smelt good and they had a children’s corner which I was so relieved because I had all 4 of my kids with me. (Husband was at work.) they were compassionate, caring and you can tell all these wonderful people truly give their 100% they have to help your pet. Ultimately we had to put our sweet ivy to sleep and we were devastated. They comforted my children me and ivy through the whole process. I’m so thankful we chose to take her here. I’ll always recommend them but most importantly they left a special place in our family’s hearts. Thank you. For everything

Experiencia positiva: Waiting room was clean and calm, and the staff were very helpful and personable in helping address an urgent concern in a quick and efficient manner. Didn’t have to wait long at all and appreciated the kind staff who helped me get scheduled asap when my furry family member was not improving. Experiencia fantástica: There was a thorough discussion prior to meeting with the doctor as the assistant was gathering information. The office atmosphere was clean and calm which is a huge deal because my LaCie gets quite nervous at the veterinary clinic. It appears that the staff are all very caring and accommodating. Experiencia positiva: I was torn with this place. I was sent here at the recommendation of my primary vet for an issue my regular vet isn't equipped to help with. The facility is very nice and clean, they were all very kind and service was quick. The tech working with me was very nice, but also took a very inaccurate intake history, despite me asking questions to clarify. I came for help with medications - so I feel this was extra detrimental to me getting any answers while I was there. At one point I asked her a question and got "Honestly I really don't know." and I had to ask her to go ask someone to see if they knew the answer to my question. Nobody reviewed and went over what was recorded before I left - so I only found out after I had paid, got home, and got my visit record emailed to me. The vet was very knowledgeable and explained things well but the intake history being recorded inaccurately caused me to leave with an expensive bill, no resolution, and an inapplicable medication recommendation.

Experiencia fantástica: Our boy Spencer started experiencing fainting spells and according to my vet his red blood cell count was so low and suggested that we come to veterinary Specialist Partners. We have experienced our share of emergency pet care, but they came straight to Spencer and immediately gathered some necessary info and took him back. We waited about 5 minutes they had already put us in a room for a more in depth review of what Spencer was experiencing. It's refreshing to see it's about the care immediately and not the cost.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited VSP for the first time with my elderly dog. We were both tense and I was worried; we were not expecting good news. But when we came in, we were put at ease by the ladies at the front and we were kept informed of what to expect throughout the entire process. Experiencia fantástica: The staff was very accommodating and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Both the veterinarian and the vet tech were both very knowledgeable and made our experience the best it could be considering the circumstances. I would not hesitate to use this clinic again.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m not sure what I would do without VSP. After our dog ate a sock, we jumped in the car and they saw us within minutes of us getting there. The vets and staff are so kind and helpful. The facility is the cleanest, nicest place we’ve ever been. I’m so thankful for this entire team who has helped our pup a few times now.

Experiencia fantástica: Came for an urgent care visit on a Sunday from about an hour away. They were friendly and kind. Treated our cats well. Gave us options in care. And recommended vets in our area for follow up. Great place.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love VSP Urgent Care!!! I was shocked to find our dog bleeding from the mouth and in pain all of a sudden. VSP got him in right away, had an affordable assessment fee, reviewed care and cost with me before doing anything, and were amazing and sweet the whole time. The building was easy to find and immaculately clean. Definitely recommend 10/10!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We took our older pittie to be looked at because she had a mass/swollen near her back leg. I called ahead of time and Ms. Danielle was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and transparent about how long things might take ahead of time and that they could see our dog for her foot. Everyone was kind and helpful and patient. And very understanding and gave us additional information on best ways to help her anxiety for future vet visits.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog, Marley and I have been here twice. Austin (front desk staff) has been so sweet and wonderful. All of my staff is up front and honest about cost. You don’t feel like you’re getting swindled like some vet offices make you feel. They seem to truly care about the patients. Would highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was an amazing help during such a difficult time. The support and knowledge was unlike any other place I’ve been. Trust is hard to find but VPS has my full trust when it comes to emergency matters regarding my senior cat.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was extremely kind and friendly. Austin greeted us as soon as we walked into the door and we got into a room very quick. They continued to update us while we waited and took great care of our fur baby. I highly recommend VSP for any of your pet needs.

Experiencia fantástica: VSP is amazing! My dog has had some health issues this year and every time we go they are always so helpful and are willing to answer my 1,001 questions. Recently we had to do an urgent care visit for my dog. They were so attentive to him and they even stayed open later so he could finish being seen. I can’t recommend them more!

Experiencia fantástica: Brought my 3 year old German Shepherd in due to her ears bothering her and my regular vet in New Albany didn't have any openings today. They got us right in and so far seem to be great. Very polite and professional and great with my girl.

Experiencia fantástica: VSP was absolutely wonderful with our cat after she was injured and needed an emergency surgery. They got her back super fast, explained all processes and broke down all costs for us in a way that made it easy to understand. Definitely recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: My dog behavior was so out of the ordinary after grooming. He was pacing, jumping on furniture he normally do not. In the fireplace. He was sitting in corners and just staring. Not wanting to play with his tennis ball. I could go on. I am so happy I brought him here to Veterinary Specialist Partners. I feel confident that after his exam he will be just fine. Great staff and amazing Dr's

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I called VSP, they were kind and ready to help. Austin at reception is such a sweetheart, and quickly got our boy in to be seen. He began acting strange out of nowhere, and since we don’t have any vets open on the weekends, we were thankful they got us in as late as it was. Dr. Underwood and her staff were very thorough, and didn’t perform any procedures until they went over our kitty’s customized plan of action. They make sure to break down the cost of any and all procedures beforehand, so that you can make the best decision for your pet. Our trip there wasn’t met with the best news, but we appreciate how helpful and compassionate VSP was when it came to helping our fur baby. They made a tough situation a lot easier to manage. Cost: As far as cost goes, initial eval is 99 dollars, which is near impossible to beat. Anything after that is discussed prior so that you’re able to weight your options. Facility: This place is immaculately clean. Each room has a cute name above the door, and the rooms themselves are cozy and inviting not just for us, but your pets, too! It also doesn’t have that anxiety inducing feel that some medical facilities put off. They even have coffee and other beverages available while you wait for your pet to be seen. Staff: Top notch! I can’t say enough about how wonderful they have been. I know if we’re ever in a pickle again, they will be the first ones we call

Experiencia fantástica: The staff were all so helpful during our pet emergency. The reception staff had a calming energy. The vet tech and doctor were informative, providing many treatment options, and helped us to make an informed decision. They truly treated our girl the best!
