Experiencia negativa: DO NOT USE THIS VET!! Had my dog for 6 hours when they said 2. He didn't drink, eat or go to the bathroom. Literally no update or information from them at all from start to finish. Completely clueless front desk (Lin) the entire process. These reviews are heavily solicited and therefore skewed. Take the experience from an honest review and run. Horrible service. They claim they can't find my account but they've called me multiple times about this situation. SO NOW THEY"RE ALSO LIARS.

Experiencia negativa: Misdiagnosed my dogs bruise as "likely an aggressive form of cancer". Not a single mention of a possibility it could be a bruise, even after I questioned it and reiterated my dog was in a scuffle. The Oncologist couldn't believe they sent me there and even gave me a discount because of Cares incompetence.

This current experience with DR Gilbert was the same. Professional, caring, patient ,answered all my questions and provided me peace of mind knowing Archie is in good hands. Experiencia fantástica: We take our dog to Care Animal Animal Hospital and have her on the puppy monthly payment plan which makes the excellent care she receives affordable. Our veterinarian, Dr. Megan Fox, has a wonderful bedside manner and is gentle with our pup and quite thorough in addition to answering all of our questions. The practice has a great website and digital app and provides great customer service.

Experiencia positiva: Friendly, no high pressure, very good with my doggie, will go again Update, I had one bad experience here, however i was convinced to return by someone else who uses them and saw mostly the people I remembered from before, I'm gunna write the one experience off as just a one time incident and while I received news I would have preferred was better all things considered the staff was really very good, had a 4pm appointment checked in at about 3:30 and was seen just about at 4, was glad to see some of the older faces and to find out that the original vet is saw was still there though I haven't ever had a problem with any of the vets I've seen there Update have gone a few times since as someone else had offered to foot the bill, while it still bothers me they didn't look at his leg when he couldn't use it without making an appointment for several days later, in fairness another vet told me he thought it was a rotten acl and that makes sense, don't know if they could have done anything with that or not, my dog has cancer and is terminal, this of course is not their fault in any way, however the leg injury he had a year ago is becoming a problem combined with his current diagnosis, of course still not their fault, however I explained that he has trouble sleeping and seemed to have some discomfort and I needed something for that I'm familiar with the medication they gave him as it's a human medication that I have known several people who were on and none of them were on it for other things it didn't really seem to do a whole lot and he's very antsy unless he's being held out sleeping i should have been paying more attention when she wore the script as he's been on this medication before with little effect, but eitherr way my biggest issue with this place is just that the atmosphere has changed a great deal and it's not a place i really feel comfortable with like I used to, I won't say the place is bad but it just feels average now with hit or miss interactions I wouldn't recommend the place but I also wouldn't yell at someone for going here I think it's just a matter of how comfortable you feel here with the people

You folks treated her a few weeks ago, and now she is back to her old talkative, complaining self. Her infection seems completely gone. She even had "the zoomies" yesterday, which she hadn't had in years. Thanks.

The front desk will deliver my questions directly to the Doctor. Either an appointment will be made or advice will be given to me. I highly recommend Care Animal Hospital! We have a new baby, named Jack. He is a hand full and DR Alberg is helping us with this fisty young man.

We have had the pleasure of working with several of their vets, but we mostly work with Dr. Fox, and she is absolutely amazing. She is so kind and understanding, and you can tell she cares so much about the pups and animals in general. When our dog Ricky was sick, they were there for us and made the best possible recommendations on what the next steps should be. Unfortunately he passed away, which was completely out of anyone's control, and Care was so supportive. They made us an engraved memorial rock and the whole team signed a card for us. We appreciate them so much, and we highly recommend! The paw plans are also very useful.

Experiencia fantástica: This practice is aptly named. Every time we go with our dog Nala we receive the best CARE from Dr. Gorden and all the staff. Any issues found are thoroughly explained and options given, including estimates on pricing so we always know what we’re agreeing to. When I recently had to take in an adult daughter’s senior cat I was faced with a bill I wasn’t budgeted for and it was Dr. Gorden’s suggestion that I break it into monthly payments for a couple months. No hassle, no shame. Just wonderful CARE for my pets and me.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best animal hospital we have been too! This place is open all days of the week and even close late. My dog had a major surgery and they took excellent care of her. They didn't make me feel bad about our situation and they have even helped us with our payments. My dog is also a little dog reactive and they made sure to help us and get us in a room as quickly as they could. I was recommended by a friend and so glad they did. I highly recommend this place!

Experiencia negativa: Took my dog to the vet because something was wrong, they said nothing was wrong 2 weeks later she got paralyzed and died of cancer. New dog became sick, listed all the symptoms they just said to give her Benadryl and wouldn’t see her, took her to another vet and turns out she had kennel cough

But Dr. Alberg is the absolute best. She has been there through so many ups and downs with all my pets, and her compassion through it all has been nothing short of amazing. Experiencia negativa: This place definitely seems great, but I'm a bit disappointed that what they considered standard checkup is definitely above and beyond what other places consider standard. Usually an annual check up with vaccines is around 300-400 dollars so I was a bit shocked at the 700$ bill for what I assumed was a regular check up. Partially my fault for not asking, but also I'd like to think that 2 x 3 Times the cost would at least get a heads up

Experiencia fantástica: Ok, this team is the absolute best! First of all, they provided a Sunday afternoon appointment! Then there was no wait time - we got right in. The vet and the vet tech (I didn't get their names but they are awesome) were excellent with my Golden Retriever (Paco). They were super gentle, very friendly with him and completely knowledgeable on any questions I had. More than 5 stars if it were possible.

Another reviewer mentioned the prices are high but they aren't different from anywhere else we go. There is a nationwide shortage in the veterinary field - and we all know prices and COL are going up! If we lived here, this would definitely be our vet - really appreciate their good work!

Experiencia negativa: My sweet dog has passed away at only 6 years old because I trusted this vet. They never once ran bloodwork for him and this was treatable had they ever ran bloodwork to catch it. All they cared about was trying to get us to use their prescription food. I didn't realize it then. I trusted them. But at the emergency room when my dog got really sick they were shocked they had never ran bloodwork to see this before. By this point it was too late though. I will never trust this vet again. Or any vet that doesn't do routine bloodwork for that matter.

She advises things to watch out for (weight gain on my 15 month old Catahoula , bumps from vaccines). Our Australian Cattle dog was so scared when having blood drawn but Dr Gorden made it quick and easy!

Experiencia positiva: This is 1 of 3 veterinary offices I have used over the past few years (in Arvada). I was a “patient” with my dog for about a year and a half before I quit using their services. They simply over charged me for services that are 10-25% cheaper at neighboring vets. On multiple occasions they have tried to have me come in for visit before any vaccinations or treatments are needed. I received a message earlier this week saying my dog needed to come in, when I inquired why I was suspicious about the timing. I decided to go to another vet today and immediately they said he isn’t ready for any shots and they kindly suggested that I re-schedule to save money. I am certain this would NeVER happen at this place. They are more concerned with profit than animal care in my experience. Can they provide good care? Yea, the care is fine, hence 3 stars, but I can never trust this place to provide reasonable care for a reasonable price. This was a 3 strikes scenario for me, proving I cannot trust this place to be honest with me.

I was a little worried about taking her but she needed to be seen . Dr. Gordon gained her trust very quickly. I stepped out to make it easier. When I was called back in she was just laying on the floor relaxing. I feel so much better taking her to be seen . The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Experiencia positiva: Dr. Alberg was great, very thorough and patient with us when we had questions and gave us some great advice on dental care for our cat. The reason for the 3 stars is because this was not quite the fear free environment I was hoping for, there was a dog in distress in the back room that connected to our examination room that really spooked my cat. I came here specifically for their stress-free rating but I didn't find that to be true. I found their price visibility to not be as good as my previous vet, who would always let me know the estimated cost of any services they would perform, so I ended up spending a lot more than I anticipated for bloodwork. I also didn't appreciate how the staff are instructed to sell their monthly payment plan on checkout, something about it didn't sit well with me.

Experiencia fantástica: 5 stars! I was looking for a caring Vet after a not so great experience at my prior vet. I brought my very shy 14 mo. old Aussie here today for vaccines and other minor issues that needed checking. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The whole staff was so kind and patient with my girl. By the end of the appt she was besties with them all! Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I brought my dog in today because she is very sick. The secretary asked if she said if she could use my card on file, I said NO I would need to use a different card. After my appointment I left balling my eyes out. They don't normally charge me without consent but not today they used a card I did NOT authorize and cleaned out my entire account!! Now I have to fight the charges with my bank. They did this right before they closed so I can't even speak to anyone! So on top of being devastated about my dog being very sick , I have to worry about being over drafted because they took money out of my account without my consent!!!! Don't recommend this hospital at all!! They only care about money. Horrible business tactics

They have been taking my now 11 year old boxer for the last 8 years and Dr. Gilbert is by far one of the best veterinarians we have had throughout numerous health issues/concerns. Experiencia negativa: Two dogs, ten years. We use any vet available and like them all. The PAW plan saves a bit of money. Update: I can no longer give a 5-star review. Something has happened to the ownership of this place and it’s like you’re dealing with algorithms instead of people. Case in point: Not long ago, our dog became suddenly and seriously ill and acted as though he was on the cusp of death. I called Care. The receptionist took down the symptoms, put me on hold, and said to get the dog to urgent care because he needed emergency surgery from having eaten something. I was dubious, because I’d likely know if he did, but took him to urgent care anyway, where they immediately ruled out surgery and diagnosed the dog with pancreatitis. I thought well, okay, but was irritated that the vet hospital we’d gone to for so many years made a diagnosis without doing an exam. Urgent Care treated the dog and sent post-care instructions to give our regular vet. I called Care again when the dog had a flareup, and they said there was nothing they could do and to just go back to Urgent Care, who did what the post-care instructions for the vet said to do. The dog is pretty much okay, by the way, a least for now. He’s an old guy. Later, Care called to tell me they had mistakenly undercharged for the dog’s PAW plan for the past year and they needed to charge the balance. Well, it happens. I paid, but didn’t renew. It used to be a decent program, but it’s gotten pricey. The final thing was a HeartGard re-order. I tried to do it only, but Care’s website directs you to some online pharmacy which requires you to set up an account with username and password and all that stuff, which I didn’t want to do. I checked the meds price with Chewy and one other place and it was around $110 for a year’s supply. I bought it directly from Care but was surprised with a $134 dollar tab. It also seems like a big personnel churn, there. It’s just weird and uncomfortable anymore. UPDATE: The hospital manager called to address the issues I raised. I suspect she will address any issues, and it’s kind of cool that a real person in authority was actually concerned.

Did a serious procedure on our favorite child and they did an amazing job with lots of communication. Highly experienced and competent doctors, and is a one stop shop for all the things that we hope never happen to our fur children. Thank you all.

I was surprised and delighted to learn that they do avian care as well! All of the staff there are wonderful from the front desk to techs to vets, and I feel great about bringing all of my pets there. Dr. Fox in particular does so well with my grumpy old parrot, and seeing how calm and gentle she is with him also helps ease my anxiety during visits. As a bonus their whole waiting area is a bright, welcoming, safe environment for pets and for people. I can’t recommend this clinic enough!

This was by far the BEST choice for me and my mini Schnauzer. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Gilbert, and the office staff. They are very professional, yet very personable, very knowledgeable, compassionate and responsive. It is easy to schedule and I appreciate the reminders and reports of care given. I highly recommend them. The office staff are also very pleasant and responsive. They are simply the BEST!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so grateful for Dr. Gilbert and his team! My dog had a grass seed buried into her underbelly that got infected. My first vet recommended surgery under general anesthesia that would require stitches. I got a second opinion with Dr. Gilbert and he was incredibly thorough with patient education and discussing his plan. Within 24 hours, he got my dog in for an exploration under heavy sedation, local anesthesia, and didn’t require any stitches! My dog is doing much better and she’s able to go backpacking with me this weekend. Cost of the examination and exploration was very reasonable and much more affordable than my first vet. I’m so thankful for Care Animal Hospital for getting my dog back to her normal self!

Experiencia fantástica: I love this vet office so much! I was referred years ago by a friend. I live 40 minutes from them but it is well worth the drive. My fur baby sees Dr. Gordan. She is such a calm , caring and compassionate person. Always taking as much time as you need to understand everything that is going on. All of the staff are very sweet.

Dr. Gorden was wonderful educating me on what I needed to know for our new pup and helped explain some of what we are going through with him at 12 weeks. She was logical, insightful and I learned from her. What more could you ask for, great experience! All the staff there was great, teamwork.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend this practice enough - they are wonderful to my cats (one who is especially high strung and chaotic) at their regular vets visits, but have been incredible accommodating in emergency situations as well. Their staff and vets are patient and kind and will do as much as possible to help your pet. I highly recommend taking your pets here!
