Union Animal Hospital is one of only a few locally owned and operated full service veterinary clinics seeing dogs, cats, pocket pets and some exotics in the Spokane area. We offer same day diagnostic testing, digital radiography, high quality dental care, digital dental radiography, preventative pet wellness, medicine and surgery. We also partner with local specialists and laboratories for testing and procedures not available on site. Our office carries flea and tick prevention, prescription diets and has an on site pharmacy to make getting your pets medications convenient and efficient. We believe in high quality patient and client care and work hard to be as affordable as possible so your fur family can get the care they need and deserve.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to Union Animal Hospital for almost 2 years. The staff (front desk and vet assistants) are phenomenal. So kind, fun and gentle! Dr. Griffith is the primary vet for my rambunctious but shy 2 year old doodle blue heeler mix. He loves her and she’s the absolute best. Takes quality time to answer all of our questions, concerns, and just overall understanding of his health care needs. Experiencia negativa: Had to euthanize my animal and they scheduled me and hr and half before they closed knowing it would take 3-4 hrs for my pets metabolism, tried to charge me over $200/hr for after hrs. This was told to me at 5:55p when they closed knowing at 6p. My options were a heart stick or pay their fees to keep a doctor. I understand this is a business but trying to profit off of my misery is disgusting. I will NEVER come back here.
We sincerely apologize for your loss. It appears that due to the number of individuals in your family involved in arranging your pet's appointment, you may not have received clear information regarding the process for euthanizing reptiles despite every ones effort at Union to ensure this was clear we relied on relay of information between your party. Our team communicated that these procedures differ from traditional methods used for mammals, primarily because of how exotic animals respond to the medication.
It was explained that typically, owners are present for the initial injection, but the animals are then kept with us for an extended period to confirm they have passed, given their unusual response to the medication. The only quicker method is quite invasive and is usually not performed in the presence of the owner. This information was provided, and your appointment was scheduled accordingly with the person who scheduled relaying they understood.
Unfortunately, upon your arrival, you expressed a desire to remain with your pet until verification of passing, which deviated from the original protocol and how the appointment was scheduled and as explained takes hours. Our operating hours are clearly posted, and we close at 6 PM. Had the initial plan discussed during scheduling been followed, there would have been no issues. However, your request to alter this plan resulted in insufficient time and the need for an alternative fee structure to accommodate the change. Please understand that no one intends to profit from your grief; we must cover the costs of paying employees overtime when they stay late, which can be significant. When scheduling had they not agreed to the standard protocol and requested to remain onsite until the pet passed, we would not have scheduled the procedure in the manner we did, it would have been scheduled early morning to allow for the hours it takes to verify passing in reptiles. Sadly, the request to stay the entire duration was not expressed until after your arrival for the procedure and after the start of the process. Again we are deeply sorry for you loss but much of what transpired was outside our control and we did all we could to mitigate in advance and when requests were made to change the plan we did all we could to accommodate you but that did result in a change in the fee structure, which was disclosed and approved by you before the change was made.

They were very responsive and communicative, quick to take action when a concern arose, and took every issue very seriously. Because of the aggressive nature of my bunny’s infection, procedure after procedure proved that they’re skilled with sedatives/anesthesia and aftercare.

My Dog is not very calm around most people but the vet is so calm with her voice and around him he is calm… They are very patient, kind, understanding and thoroughly goes over every option and the prices and very affordable!!

Experiencia negativa: By far stupid. My cats annual was up this month to renew her food prescription. Her vet was out on maternity leave. Nope couldn't see my other cats doc without approval. The lack of attention to patient owners trust is not there. I transferred my animals to another vet clinic.....bs on yourcorporate union and your antics. I can see you have a long explanation of bs on others bad reviews as well to explain away your lack of concern.

First and foremost, we would like to clarify that we are neither a corporate entity nor have we ever been. We are a locally owned and operated business, proudly founded and led by a seventh-generation Spokane native.
While your regular veterinarian is, in fact, on maternity leave for another couple of weeks, our team kindly offered to arrange an appointment for your pet with one of our three other outstanding veterinarians as early as tomorrow. However, we received a confrontational and disrespectful response when you were informed that the veterinarian you requested is not accepting new clients and that she would need to be consulted beforehand regarding your request.
Rather than allowing our staff the chance to finish, you resorted to insults directed at our team and the clinic, displaying unnecessary aggression. This treatment of our staff was both unacceptable and unwarranted. Our clinic had immediate openings for your cat with one of our excellent veterinarians who are currently accepting new clients, but you chose to decline that option and instead launched a tirade through phone calls, voicemails, and text messages, expressing your displeasure about the need for prior approval before they could schedule you with that one specific veterinarian. It’s important to note that they did not deny your request. Had you approached the situation with courtesy and politeness, your request would likely have been accommodated; instead, you are no longer welcome at our facility.
Our responses to reviews are grounded in facts because, as your review illustrates, many upset reviewers act out of vengeance for not receiving what they want, when and how they want it, and have no basis in the quality of care. We wish you the best at your new clinic and hope you treat them with more respect than you have shown our team.
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to here since 2022 with my cat, and I’ve couldn’t be happier with the quality and service they provide. Everyone there works SO hard and it shows! I have become a regular because my little boy has quite a few medical issues They have never let me down, are always there for me with my many questions, and Dr. Nilles is the sweetest to my little Atticus even when he can be cranky. Experiencia fantástica: Pragmatic, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I have always owned pets, but about a year ago I had a young cat develop pyometra and need emergency surgery. They diagnosed her quickly and got her into surgery immediately. Because of their care, Pancake will get to have a long and healthy life. I can't say they are the cheapest in town, but they are reasonable in pricing, and I feel that my animals (5 cats and a dog) are getting the best care possible. We see Dr. Arnora Griffith and she is a gem. I am impressed with the way she addresses concerns and love her level of thoroughness. 10/10! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great vet.

Experiencia positiva: I'll try to make this as detailed as possible. "They're response shows what I mean. They saw him twice and missed it. My review reflects my experience." Union animal hospital came highly recommended. I called a couple places including our original vet legacy animal in Liberty lake. Union had the lowest initial exam price and seeing that Liberty lake is a little bit of a drive, we decided to take our cat to Union. Upon arriving they had great customer service. We got into a room and explain to the vet assistant ,or whatever title she was, that he was an indoor/outdoor cat. We brought in a pet carrier that was a backup as our previous one was damaged by one of our other animals and we hadn't had a chance to replace it. The assistant or tag was very pleasant and listen to us explain about how he was limping and how we waited to bring him in just to make sure that it wasn't something minor. The vet that we got is named Dr G. She came in, introduce yourself, watched cat a little bit as we explained to her about his severe limping and how we were concerned. As she watched cat maneuver around a computer screen she explained to me and my daughter how are cat carrier wasn't safe and that we should replace it. I explained to her that it was a backup and we we didn't have the opportunity to pick up another one. She watched him a little bit, did her exam, gave us a medication offered X-rays and sent us home. When we left we felt like she was more concerned about our carrier than the cat after some time passed we brought him in again and had X-rays done. We skipped sending into radiology because of the pricing. We kept them isolated to one room for some time and he did not get better. Then we sent in the x-rays to radiology and paid more money yet again. The x-rays came back to just show arthritis and the doctor g still didn't know what was going on. Upon several text communications I was really impressed by all their customer service but also had internal struggles with the fact that I still didn't know what was going on with my cat. After giving him medication keeping him kenneled and even more isolated we kept an eye on him and noticed that he was missing some hair on his right shoulder and that there was a scratch there After more text communication which again I'm highly impressed by as I love good customer service we still had no idea what was going on and they wanted roughly $2,000 to do an MRI on him. Again more money. Finally after a couple more weeks had passed and this has been going on for probably 2 to 3 months roughly.. my wife checked on him and noticed he had a lump and was very little pressure it bursts open was puss coming out. I googled it and found out that it was an abscess at which point I sent pictures back to Dr g to let her know about the abscess. I went ahead schedule an appointment and they wanted $260 up front again more money. And I filled out the initial paperwork and had everything planned to have him dropped off and my wife decided that she was going to pull the plug on Union. I explained to Dr G my frustrations concerned and the fact that I didn't understand how this was missed and I do understand that my family missed it as well however we are not medically professionally trained veterinarians. Dr G was quick to explain and give a defense as to why it was missed and that was a catalyst to my wife deciding to go back to legacy. I don't feel like there was any type of apology or any type of care for our financial means to be able to take care of our cat. Again great customer service but if I go look at it as an analogy I think of it as like the customer service was the rapper but what was inside of the rapper wasn't what was expected. For a place that came highly recommended with great reviews on Google I did have really high expectations especially when I walked in and saw that they had a 2024 Year award for Spokane. However that was not my experience with them I won't recommend them and the three stars is only based on their customer service.

However, the inability to afford necessary diagnostic tests should not be used to blame the veterinarian. Dr. G was exceptionally thorough in her evaluation, taking the time to educate you about carrier safety—a concern that many might overlook for the sake of your pet’s well-being. She conducted a comprehensive examination and provided an estimate to assist in diagnosing the issue.
Exams provide valuable insights, but due to communication barriers, diagnostic testing is essential for accurate diagnoses. In early September, your cat showed no limping or visible wounds but resisted elbow extension. Dr. G recommended radiographs for further investigation and advised a radiologist review, which you declined. She reviewed the images and noted mild degenerative joint disease without signs of trauma or infection. Dr. G discussed treatment options, including supplements and pain medication, and recommended strict rest and indoor confinement, advising a follow-up if no improvement occurred.
The following day, you updated us that your pet's limp improved significantly after the appointment, praising our care as superior to previous experiences and indicating a desire to switch to our clinic. Almost a week later, you reached out with concerns about your cat's non-weight-bearing condition and requested to send radiographs for review. We accommodated your request, and Dr. G engaged in a detailed discussion about your cat's care, offering remote assistance at no extra charge and providing additional pain medication.
A few days later, you noted your cat was initially doing well but resumed limping due to not following confinement instructions. The latest exam showed no limping or wounds, indicating improvement. Dr. G suggested more pain medication, which you declined, and you promised to adhere more strictly to confinement for better healing.
Our team did not hear from you again until early October, three weeks from your first evaluation, when you mentioned some improvement but difficulties in medicating. Dr. G again provided a free teleconsultation. You declined her recommendations and opted for more pain medication. Nearly another week later, you reached out again and received another free teleconsultation with the veterinarian, sharing a photo of an abrasion you had just found on your cat's shoulder. This was a new finding not seen in previous exams, which isn't surprising given we hadn't physically examined your pet in nearly a month. Dr. G confirmed it appeared to be a scratch based on your description, and you acknowledged it was likely from one of the other cats in your home.
The veterinarian provided extensive teleconsultations about your pet's recurring lameness at no charge, while you declined recommendations and an in-person exams repeatedly. Despite concerns raised via text and insinuations of oversight, she continued to assist you by reviewing photos and suggesting treatments, understanding the limitations of not examining your pet. Acknowledging your financial constraints, you ultimately chose to have your pet seen by your previous vet instead of Dr. G. We cannot diagnose or treat a wound based on texted photos we must see your pet for accuracy and by law.
The care provided to your cat was well-documented, and blaming us for events that occurred outside our care is unjust. Your review misrepresents our care, which included many complimentary telehealth services. Events after your September visit were beyond our control. We hope your cat is better, but your review does not accurately reflect our team's care.

The staff were friendly and efficient and were able to get us in for a same day appointment. The pricing was very reasonable and I felt their follow-up advice and support was very thorough. It can be quite frustrating when our pets resist undergoing necessary procedures or examinations. Unfortunately, this situation poses risks for both the pet and the individuals involved. At Union Animal Hospital, we prioritize low-stress practical handling techniques to ensure our patients remain safe and comfortable and will never put a patient or our team at risk by using excessive force tactics to “get the job done.” We care too much about the health and well-being of our patients and our staff to do that.
When needed, based on a pet's behavioral history or any new behaviors observed during the appointment, we may provide pre-visit medications for pets prone to significant anxiety or aggression. Additionally, on-site sedation may be offered if required. Our policy, whenever possible and permitted, encourages pet owners to administer these medications ahead of time for pets with known behavioral challenges at home. If this is not feasible, we can provide injectable sedation at your discretion.
If a patient or client is new to our practice, it’s essential for them to be open about their pet's behavior beforehand. This allows us to adequately prepare for the visit and minimize the need for additional appointments. When pet parents do not inform us that their pet may be fractious during the appointment, we are unable to make the necessary preparations. This can result in situations where we cannot conduct the required examination without medical intervention. However, we always strive to do as much as we can, and as you noted, sometimes the initial visit becomes a behavioral consultation to plan for the future.
That said, such occurrences are not common; typically, pets must be extremely stressed or pose a risk to themselves or others to necessitate this level of intervention. Most of our patients benefit from the practical, low-stress techniques we employ, which usually do not require prescription sedatives. These behavior-based methods help pets relax, enabling us to safely complete examinations or minor, non-painful procedures. We tailor our approach to meet each patient’s individual needs, as we do for all aspects of our care.
We will never resort to excessive force, restraint, or compromise the safety of our pets or team for mere convenience. Such actions are irresponsible and can lead to significant physical and emotional harm, potentially exacerbating a pet's anxiety over time and making future visits even more difficult. Ultimately, the choice on how to proceed lies with our pet parents; however, it's essential to recognize that if your pet exhibits fractious behavior, additional time or medications may result in extra fees to cover these services. If you are looking for a clinic that disregards your pet's needs and uses harsh methods to achieve results, we may not be the right choice for you. We are dedicated to ensuring that fearful or anxious dogs are not placed in situations that increase their fear or anxiety simply for the sake of saving costs or enhancing convenience.
Oh, and you're absolutely right—we are closed on weekends and have always maintained this schedule. Our team of dedicated professionals values their family time. Experiencia negativa: In response to their response, the dog had no quality of life. It doesn't matter how you spin it. You made a mistake by not listening to the humans and a true evaluation showed the dog was suffering, all you did was prolong that. We are changing our review. The veterinarian that we recently saw for our senior dog is a high pressure salesman, she ignores what we said and talked over us like we weren't very smart. New veterinarian is like a private equity firm trying to make money by acting like you care when all you did was prolong the inevitable of a senior dog. Run more tests for an older dog with an expected lifespan that he is currently at. Disappointed that this person refused to listen to us, talked over us and ran tests and medicated a senior dog as though he has years of life left. High pressure salesman, wouldn't recommend *** this older review no longer applies Absolutely the best visit at a veterinarian for our very scared dog. This was our first visit here and we've found our furever veterinarian office. They treated him so gently and thoroughly.

In fairness, your last visit addressed serious health concerns that you had noticed at home. The veterinarian conducted a thorough examination, listened to your worries, and offered various options. Diagnostic testing is often recommended because pets with multiple health issues typically require testing to reach a diagnosis; this is foundational to evidence-based medicine for pets. At no point were you obliged to undertake any testing, and we always respect our clients' preferences.
Every pet owner has a unique approach to their pet's care as they age; however, age itself is not a disease, and we do not alter our recommendations or the options available, as that would be unfair to many patients. The veterinarian recommended several over-the-counter supplements, providing dosing guidelines, as we do not sell these products ourselves. These were aimed at improving your pet's comfort and quality of life, along with essential medications for the identified issues and comprehensive blood testing, all for a total of under $300. I’m unsure how this could be interpreted as high-pressure sales tactics, but again, perception is reality. Our team genuinely cares; they dedicated over an hour to assist you and your pet, staying late to ensure that your pet received everything needed and that all your questions and concerns were addressed. We are committed to providing quality, comprehensive care for both you and your pet. We deeply regret you feel there was any other motive behind the excellent care you received, and we hope you and your sweet pet are doing well as we wish you all the very best.

Experiencia fantástica: Unfortunately we had to put our sweet girl down on 7/17. When I called in the morning they did what ever they could to get her seen asap. The staff was amazing. We didn’t feel rushed to say our goodbyes. And everyone telling me that this was the right Decision. The doc was great making sure my kids knew that she was comfortable and not in pain. And what she had already given her. Then every step of the way she explained to them what she was doing. My kids are older but to see this was amazing. If and when we get another fur friend we will be taking them here. Thank you for all you did on such a hard day.

Experiencia fantástica: Our girl got discharged a few hours ago and I already told all friends, family, and acquaintances to give Union a try. We called the first open clinic for an emergency surgery for our dog and they got her in right away, they were very flexible with the time, honest and up front about the pricing and tried to save us money vs. nickel-and-diming us. The outlook was not good for our girl, and I had been really upset from the news and the way the emergency vet presented it, but they never showed us an ounce of doubt... only positivity, honesty, and frequent updates. Everyone was warm and friendly from the front desk to the surgeon, and I can't even tell you what kind of miracle they performed without paragraphs of backstory, but we are forever grateful and so impressed! Do not doubt if the staff are skilled and knowledgeable!

We did the best research we could and were more than impressed with the entire team here for exotic pet care. Their expertise and personalized attention to detail with my exotic was as rare as chinchillas are in the area. Pricing was fair and a small rebate at the end was a bonus. Experiencia fantástica: We are in Dr. Ovink’s care with our two dogs, but we have seen both Dr. Sutton and Dr. Griffith as well a couple of times. Every experience has been fantastic. We feel we are in absolutely excellent care with anyone on their team. Our dogs are well loved and we have zero complaints across about 15-20 office visits so far including 4 total dentals, a minor other surgery and many regular checkups as well as urgent care visits. We have one senior dog, and our other dog has epilepsy among other physical ailments. UAH worked very well with WSU with referrals and sharing of medical records and consultations. UAH offers a wide variety of pricing for procedures from low-ish cost to “premium” care. Their estimates are completely transparent and itemized. Regular office visit costs are beyond reasonable, almost on the low end of what seems fair for them. They also offer payment plans for all services. Medication refill requests are almost always filled the next day or same day and the front office team is extremely responsive to any requests via phone or email. Absolutely stellar job to everyone working here. We are beyond grateful for everything you do for our dogs (and us). Thank you.

Had a bad feeling, took our pet to another vet; was clear to other vet it was allergies. Got an allergy shot and no more issues. Glad we didn't take Union Animal Hospitals expensive advice.

It appears there has been some misunderstanding regarding your pet's treatment and diagnostic options, as your review includes claims that do not conform to current medical standards or requirements.
Typically, general anesthesia is unnecessary for conditions that can be treated with an "allergy shot." There are no allergy-related conditions that would warrant the use of general anesthesia, and our office has never suggested putting a pet under general anesthesia for health issues stemming from allergies or allergic reactions. I doubt any veterinary practice would include that in a treatment plan for a pet presenting with allergy concerns.
General anesthesia is typically reserved for surgical or other invasive procedures, as well as dental prophylaxis. At Union Animal Hospital, our commitment lies in providing the best treatment and diagnostic plans for our clients, ensuring full transparency through written estimates, informative literature, and comprehensive discussions. We will always provide clients with high standard of care treatment plans as our top recommendation as it is what is proven best and safest for a patient and every pet owner should be given the opportunity to know what is ideal so they can make informed decisions. If clients are unable to proceed with our recommendations, we collaborate to explore alternative options for their pets whenever possible. While we appreciate that you've found a solution that suits you, this review seems to stem from a notable misunderstanding regarding the information or advice provided by our care team.
If your pet's "allergy shot" was Cytopoint, it indicates that itching was the primary concern, as this medication is designed to address that issue. However, a pet presenting with itching does not require anesthesia as a part of a standard treatment plan; often, diagnostics are needed to evaluate the underlying causes, which may include autoimmune diseases, endocrine disorders, or parasites and those diagnostics would always be offered and discussed. If those are not feasible for whatever reason we will work with clients to find an agreeable safe option, often including a therapeutic trial of medication and a follow up if needed. On the other hand, if your pet received a steroid injection, it aims to reduce inflammation across the body for various conditions and is generally a temporary fix that can obscure issues beyond allergies. Steroid injections carry risks when a diagnosis is not established and are not advisable for genuine allergies. Neither option serves as a one-time solution for allergies and steroids can absolutely mask other more serious issues or be used in conjuntion with some treatments to treat various non allergy health concerns.
Once again, since the details given are limited and do not align with any cases we have encountered, it is difficult to pinpoint the source of the confusion. We always encourage our clients to contact us directly if they have concerns about their pet's care to clear up any misunderstandings; however, it seems that this was not pursued. We are pleased to hear that your pet is doing well and that you are satisfied with the outcome.

Union Animal Hospital provided us an immediate appointment and quickly assessed and attended to her crisis. We are so thankful and impressed by the efficiency, responsive care, professionalism and kindness every member of this staff showed to our dog and to us. This includes the ER Overnight facility that took and cared for our dog as well. Union Animal Hospital is a Godsend and we most highly recommend this veterinary.

Experiencia negativa: Took my dog here by recordation from animal emergency. My dog had to have emergency surgery and needed to be observed for the day for low glucose before surgery. Just paid $3300 for surgery this place was charging 520$ for care. Only cash I had left was 440$ instead of allowing us to go home get more cash and bring it back when we pick up our dog they demanded the money up front and was going to refuse treatment if we didn't go get the money. Took hour and half round trip to go get the extra money they wanted up from. It took over an hour for them to bring out dog back( she just got out of surgery 2 hours prior). They wanted to charge 5$ to feed her. With the price I paid for care you would think a can of food would be included for all day care while having low blood sugar.Seems like all they care about is profit instead of helping people with sick animals. *** We maxed out all of our other paying options so cash was the only option we had at the time. Instead of Union trying to put blame on other for not having enough money or knowing what's going on in their personal life they could work with their customers more. We just paid 700$ for another dog we had that was 15 to be euthanized and having health complications. so when this emergency took place we weren't ready. All we asked for was to pay the rest when we picked up our dog but that was not good enough. We were threatened that care would not take place until we brought the rest of the money and so ya we rushed so she would have a better chance of making it. So for the reply back shows what kind of people you deal with when you take your animals to them if you disagree with them then they will put all the blame on you and make you out to be the evil ones.

Furthermore, no one “threatened” you or your pet’s care, and while we empathize with our clients' financial challenges, this does not allow us to offer internal payment plans or change the facts that we have to collect payment at time of service approval. We provide a variety of payment options and can accommodate multiple methods; the decision to pay in cash was yours, and the subsequent visits were a direct result of that choice. Importantly, this situation did not compromise the quality of care your pet received; she was given the necessary attention promptly despite the outstanding deposit. We simply requested you to collect and return with the amount you already approved to complete the deposit. It is unfortunate that many individuals take advantage of veterinary services by assuring they will pay, only to fail to do so after receiving care, this is called theft of services and it is a crime that has increased dramatically in recent years. We, like nearly all clinics, have repeatedly fallen victim to this tactic because we do lead with compassion and trust. This dishonest tactic has forever changed the face of veteirnary care and we, like most clinics now, have been forced to implement policies that require payment in advance for all approved services. While we wish money wasn't a factor, it is necessary for our operations. Without payment, we can't effectively care for patients, as we have bills to pay and must maintain our operations. Typically, only those intending not to pay express dissatisfaction with this policy.
We believe that the fees charged for a full day of intensive care and diagnostic testing after emergency surgery were quite reasonable, considering the efforts involved in ensuring her safe recovery and you were not billed for feeding your pet as that is not a fee we charge. Contrary to popular belief, profit margins in our field are minimal. Veterinary practices have expenses to cover, and our team members need to earn a living, just like everyone else. The ongoing criticism of veterinary costs is exhausting and unfair; do you work for free? Veterinarians and their care teams are not listed among the wealthiest people for a reason; we are simply individuals striving to make a living while pursuing our passion, as this profession is a calling for many of us dedicated to this field. People can love their jobs but still require compensation, as medical equipment and supplies are neither free nor inexpensive.
Your assertion that we prioritize profit over patient care is both painful and baseless, especially considering the commitment we demonstrated to you and your pet. If we didn’t genuinely care we wouldn’t accept new clients on such short notice, working tirelessly to ensure per’s are seen quickly, even without an appointment. Our team often sacrifices their breaks to provide the highest standard of care, and we strive to assist as many pets and their families as possible each day, fully recognizing the significance of this responsibility. We are grateful that most people appreciate and acknowledge this dedication, as they inspire us to come to work each day. We hope you find a clinic that better meets your needs.
Experiencia negativa: We took our dog to Union Animal Hospital for a simple test at the request of our normal vet that didn't provide said test. We chose Union based on reviews and we were completely let down. From the very moment we walked in, we weren't greeted or even acknowledged. After waiting an hour to even get into our appointment, we waited another hour to actually see the vet. The whole time you could hear all the loud hubbub and noises and other vet visits in the clinic..not at all soothing for us or our pet and absolutely no privacy. The vet seemed discombobulated and confused by our simple exam request. She absolutely seemed as though she was trying to make my dogs care much more complicated than it was. She talked at me very quickly and threw a bunch of numbers, possible tests, reasons why she couldn't do her job etc at us. It was exhausting. We left with no answers, no visit notes, just a bill. As soon as I got home, I was promptly hit up by Union Animal Hospital via email to vote them "best Veterinary" service in Spokane. Gtfo. Never again. Now I've been trying to get our notes from them for several days and they have been extremely passive aggressive and evasive about providing them. It's gross and weird. Like, why are you trying to actually cause harm by delaying my pets care? Union Animal Hospital has a very dysfunctional vibe and I feel they were purposely harmful in withholding our records when they realized we weren't ever coming back there. **also, apon reading their responses to dissatisfied customers, I am not at all surprised we were treated the way we were. These responses lack accountability, are full of ego and are just lacking in any compassion. These responses are reminiscent of a high school bully. Disgusting. Do better.

You made a request to have your pet's records emailed to your email on file, not to another veterinary clinic, mid-afternoon on the 3rd. The veterinarian responsible for approving the final records was unavailable due to illness. Upon her return, she promptly signed off on those records, and you received them by 10:00 AM on the 5th. You did not inform us of any upcoming appointments at another clinic, nor did we receive requests for records from other clinics. If a clinic had requested records while the veterinarian was unavailable or if you had requested that we send them to another clinic, we would have provided an interim report to prevent delays in care until the final record was signed off. Claiming that your request for a personal copy of the final records was hindering your pet’s care is unfounded, as you already had the results from the testing you authorized at checkout, and the final record contained no additional care information.
During the appointment, the veterinarian examined your pet with care and provided a summary of her findings and recommendations. However, you dismissed her recommendations and insisted on tests from a previous telehealth consultation be performed and nothing else. She acquiesced and graciously only charged you for one of them. Despite the tests returning normal results as she expected, you declined further assessments. The absence of a diagnosis was due to your refusal to follow her medical advice, limiting the team's ability to provide the needed answers.
It is unreasonable to claim you weren't greeted upon arrival, as we checked you in early. Our practice can get busy with multiple clients and pets, especially during peak times like Mondays, as we also handle urgent care cases. While we may not have a large facility, we strive to maintain a clean and comfortable environment, which many clients appreciate. Regarding privacy, our exam rooms are located away from the waiting area for better confidentiality, though they may not be soundproof. We do offer a separate space for sensitive appointments when needed.
Your assertion that you waited an hour to be seen and then another hour for the vet is completely false. Our medical records are time-stamped, and our records indicate that you had a 2:00 PM appointment, which was kept on time, and you were in fact greeted and checked in early for that at 1:45 PM. Your appointment and all testing were completed with results provided by 3:30 PM, and you were fully checked out at 3:38 PM. That is a fairly efficient use of your time. This situation illustrates why we respond to reviews, as they are often dishonest, factually incorrect, and inflammatory for no other reason than to be spiteful. We apologize if our post-appointment email communications were irrelevant to you. These messages are sent to all clients through a system that quickly updates the email list for timely notifications. Your email was added shortly before the newsletter was released, which was not a targeted action. While many clients appreciate our commitment to their pets, those who do not may consider seeking clinics more aligned with their preferences. Best of luck to you and your pet's.
Experiencia fantástica: Union Animal Hospital and all the staff there have always been phenomenal with my pets. They made sure my two senior dogs were comfortable until the end, they did incredible emergency surgery on one of my rabbits, they have been wonderful with my young dog who has some severe issues with her rear legs. I’ve been going here for years and over the years have brought in 4 dogs, 3 rabbits, 1 leopard gecko, and 1 small parrot. I have had over 45 appointments here with multiple vets and multiple vet techs. They have always treated my animals with compassion (even the difficult ones) and have always been happy to answer any questions I have. They’ve never made me feel bad for declining a suggested treatment. When I have questioned procedures, they always respond kindly. They have always met my expectations and have often gone above and beyond. Their treatment of my pets has given me hope and confidence through some very scary issues my little zoo has faced. We will always be thankful for how our pets have been treated here and would never go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my classroom ball python (Ssssssssssam) to Dr. Griffith from Libby, Montana after inheriting him with some eye concerns. The 200 mile drive to get there was absolutely worthwhile! She treated him with great care, showed me how to administer the necessary medication so I didn't have to drive back every 3 days, and provided me with resources to ensure Ssssssssssam will live out the rest of his (hopefully many) days comfortably and safely. She spent almost 3 hours with him to ensure she knew how to treat him most effectively, and did not just rush us through to get to the next patient. I would definitely recommend this clinic, and Dr. Griffith specifically, for anyone needing care for their pet.

Experiencia fantástica: This review is for my senior pitbull Brody. About a month ago we had a bit of a scare for my 15 year old pitbull, he had extensive swelling in his face and front legs. This vet is beyond great. My dog doesn't get along with other dogs so they allowed us to wait in the car and bring him right in to a room when they were ready. The receptionists were friendly and kind. Our veterinarian (Dr. Griffith) and her assistant (I didn't catch her name) were both very professional kind and thorough. They spent time with us explaining the possible issues and our options. We are low income these days, and they took the time to talk about our options. Brody was well taken care of and my girlfriend and I both left feeling like we were well taken care of. They called for a follow-up to his care as well. I really appreciated them and we will be back, they are our go-to vet. I did look at the few negative reviews on here out of curiosity and I can firmly say that those reviews do not represent the professionalism and care this office puts forth in their business. We have been to other vets in Spokane and these guys are hands down the best we have had. Great job guys and thank you!

They got us in to be seen within 2 hours of calling, took wonderful care of our dog and alleviated our worries. They took a thorough history, rather than just insisting on expensive testing. We did not feel rushed or condescended to. Everyone there very obviously loves animals. I cannot recommend them enough! Experiencia fantástica: While our circumstances have been less than ideal with our dog, the care we have received from this vet has been amazing. We have nothing but great things to say about this vet- especially Dr. Griffith and Dr. Ovink. Dr Griffith has been our main vet here and she is truly wonderful. She has gone above and beyond- even checking in on our dog on the weekend after her surgery. Dr Ovink performed the surgery for our border collie (hind leg removal) and she did a wonderful job. It’s been less than a week and keeping my dog from running in the yard has been the biggest challenge. If you are searching for a new vet, I highly recommend this clinic. We have also taken both of our dogs here for dental cleanings and recommend this clinic for that as well.

Experiencia positiva: The first visit was great. At the time my Mastiff/pit was 6 months old. Had a bladder infection. The receptionist I spoke to before arriving was very helpful. Advised me on the potential costs(due at time of service) and her helpful information ultimately led me to bring the puppy in. The vet got down to the puppy's level and introduced herself. Examined her. The vet genuinely seemed to love animals. Even the people in the waiting room with their pets were friendly. 2 years ago I would have given the place 5 stars. A few weeks ago my pup had a blockage. I was worried sick. The receptionist wasn't the least bit helpful. Kept saying "I don't know." And "only the vet can answer those types of questions" leaving me to believe maybe it should be a vet who answers the phones. It's Super frustrating when you're living on a limited income, trying to raise funds to save your beloved pet and not being given a ballpark figure like before to assist in those endeavors. Thankfully my girl was able to finally pass the blockage on her own and made a full recovery. Zero thanks to the clinic or their staff. the lady I spoke to when I tried to raise my concerns was very rude after the fact. I don't know if I'll ever go back.

We apologize if you expected our receptionists to have the medical expertise of a veterinarian, but their role does not include diagnosing sick pets and that is not a skill someone just picks up quickly, it takes years of formal education and experience. They can provide estimates for known diagnoses or preventive measures, but creating a diagnostic plan is beyond their scope. She did offer you the estimate for radiographs and the exam assuming those would be part of the plan based on the history you provided. Additionally, it is illegal for us to offer medical advice over the phone without a valid veterinary patient-client relationship in Washington state.
Since your pet has not been seen at Union for over two years, our ability to provide accurate estimates is limited. While we offered a quote for basic urine testing in the past, the complexity of your dog's symptoms this time required a more comprehensive examination by a veterinarian. Our office manager responded to your concerns with empathy and professionalism, it just wasn’t the response you felt you were entitled too because it wasn’t the response you wanted but their was absolutely nothing in that email that could even be construed as rude. We always strive to assist our clients to the best of our ability and within their budget but that doesn’t mean we are the best fit for everyone.
We understand that your pet's health is a priority, and we recommend finding a clinic that can better meet your needs. Your account has been deactivated.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dog Rachel was having ongoing problems with her mouth/nose. Bad breath constant sneezing and shaking her head and her lower jaw would quiver. After 2 visits to our usual vet clinic with minimal to no results we called Union to see if they would be willing to do a 2nd opinion. Sarah the receptionist was so friendly and she got us in the next day. We came in to a very nice, clean office with such nice front office staff. We saw Dr. Ovink, she did such a thorough exam on Rachel and she recommended that we have her teeth cleaned and she could exam Rachel's jaw under anesthesia. They got us a surgery date for the next day! And guess what, our other vet was wrong, Rachel's mouth was not fine. She had 3 abscesses! Her upper way back molars on each side abscessed, her front canine and the tooth next to it was abscessed to the point it caused a fistula into her nasal cavity! (Explains the sneezing and head shaking) Dr. Ovink also found that Rachel's jaw is lax in the left side. We are absolutely thrilled with the clinic and the people that work there. If it wasn't for them......well, I don't want to think about that. If they'll have us they are now our new veterinarian office for all 3 of our dogs. Selena and Terry

Our payment policies are clearly stated in the terms of service notice given to all clients upon joining our practice. Clients are required to confirm their review and acceptance of these terms. Additionally, the policy regarding payment at the time of service is displayed at our front counter. You were provided and signed a new digital terms of service document, which clearly states all payment policies, well before the appointment time and soon after your appointment request, with your first of these being on file in 2022. While it is regrettable that it appears you did not read the document you signed, this particular policy has been in place since our clinic's inception. It is not customary for us to explicitly state this to clients that have been to our office previously and have prior documentation that this policy is in effect. We do regret any confusion or perceived feelings of disappointment this policy may have caused.
Experiencia fantástica: They helped me right away with an emergency ruptured behind gland on our German Shepard and were very compassionate, and thorough, being that our dog was always very anxious before, yet she was very comfortable and calm there. I would recommend this clinic for any family pet and they were very fair priced as well. They care about animals and it shows.

Experiencia negativa: God awful don’t EVER BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!! My tea cup poodle her butt hole was super inflamed rubbed raw, I told them that she was eating drinking normal her butt hole DID NOT LOOK RIGHT!! Spent two half hours there for them to say she had parvo but could t touch her unless we did the text that costs 295!! I explained she had shots she had no symptoms of it, they would not look at her for what I was there for they wanted me to pay for a test she didn’t need and pills that she didn’t need! My actual vet finally answered and even said that she didn’t need any of the pills! My vet didn’t have an appointment or I would have Gone there. I will go to the ends of the earth for my babies. These people won’t! They didn’t even give me a cone or have me buy one for her to stop licking her butt. I went out and got it on my own. All I’m saying is that they are not trusted people who are in it for money!
Your feedback is misleading and completely fabricated, to say the least. However, the one fact in this case that remains true is that you did follow through with one of your many threats by posting this false and nasty review. The reviewer stated they would do this repeatedly under different names and profiles with the sole purpose of disparaging us, if we refused to agree to their demands when they attempted to extort us for money. This reviewer and Chase, a man who had never been to our clinic and surely was not present for the pet in question’s evaluation, came barging into our clinic yelling and making outlandish accusations less than 24 hours after the sick puppy's evaluation. Chase verbally assaulted our pregnant receptionist and then proceeded to abuse multiple other team members and a few clients. He made false accusations and demanded money or free care, threatening to sue us and post fake reviews if we did not meet his demands. He even admitted to planning this extortion by removing his business decals, which we have since been informed is a local moving company, from his vehicles in advance of this planned assault. Contrary to these false claims we did not diagnose this pet with parvo or refuse to evaluate this pet without a high payment. Instead, we promptly examined their sick puppy within hours of their request when their regular vet refused to see them. We discussed various, and there were many, potential causes for the pet’s illness and then provided a full estimate for available testing to help guide the best treatment, Of course parvo was on that list because their puppy had not had a vaccine since it was at the breeder at 6 weeks old, over 10 weeks prior. The exam was $78, not $295, and even after medications the bill was far less this made up amount and clearly we “touched” the pet to evaluate it. Estimates were provided for testing, as is customary, but “touching” the pet didn’t hinge on them agreeing to testing, that is just ludicrous. Despite offering thorough care, and yes spending hours with them answering questions and tending to their needs, Felicia declined all testing and requested medication. While not ideal, we understand some clients have different thoughts on how much to invest in a pet after purchasing it and honored their request providing medications to keep their pet comfortable. For the actual visit, their pet did have indications it could have a contagious disease as such we had asked them to follow simple safety protocols, such as remaining curbside until we could prepare for their entrance into the facility appropriately, but they refused, endangering other pets. We did strongly advise screening testing for everyone’s safety but that was also refused. Furthermore, just an hour or so after their threats, accusations and verbal assault, they reached out to us for a price on a parvo test relaying their regular vet had again refused to see them! Due to their behavior, they are no longer permitted on the premises for everyone's safety. Though we cannot prevent baseless cyber attacks, we can respond to them with facts and always respond truthfully to such unjustified defamatory remarks by disgruntled and irrational individuals. Everyone at Union Animal Hospital treated Felicia and her puppy with the utmost respect and care. We honored their requests and spent a great deal of time trying to help her navigate the options only to be unfairly attacked and threatened less than 24 hours later, which is despicable, by someone who had no firsthand knowledge of any of the events the day prior. This brings to mind a famous, and very fitting quote, “Bye Felicia.”
Experiencia fantástica: The first vet I've been to and I'm happy to say it was a pleasant experience. My dog had dental work done and they were very up front about pricing and even gave me payment plans to look at. They explained everything X-rays, medications and the procedure itself. I was very worried about him because he doesn't like to be left alone so when I went to pick him up and found the staff taking turns carrying him in a baby carrier i was so relieved to see him so well taken care of.

It was such a freak accident, and she did such an amazing job repairing that tendon without having ever done it. They had me do a recheck with WSU just to make sure everything was OK and it was! Experiencia fantástica: As a retired veterinarian, my professional expectations are high. Union Animal Hospital exceeded them. The entire team at Union get 5 stars from start to finish. The front desk staff were courteous and very prompt in getting me scheduled, returning my messages and getting answers to my questions. As a visiting vet, I got to see the doctors, techs and support staff at work in the treatment area and had a tour the facility. In a nutshell, there is no need to worry about your pet when they are taken by the many capable hands here. The level of professional care, and personal attention (even a few snuggles) given to every pet was outstanding. The facility is well organized, utilizes current technology, and is spotlessly clean. There is a team approach among the staff, so every animal’s needs are taken care of quickly, efficiently, and with great kindness. At every step the staff was transparent about costs and provided clear explanations of the services that were essential, those that added value but were not essential, and suggestions for how owners on a tight budget could best maximize their animals care while trying to stay within that budget. Experiencia fantástica: My family moved to the area not too long ago and we had yet to establish care with a vet for our pups. I was nervous coming to a new area and finding a new vet. We came across this hospital when one of them was having an issue and I am so impressed with my experience. Dr. Griffith was excellent. She was so sweet to my very anxious dog and was so thorough with her exam. She never tried to push expensive/unnecessary things and informed me of pros and cons of my treatment options. She informed me of things for my pet’s treatment, but also on things for his diet and overall well-being. I felt that every single one of my concerns was heard and addressed. She made sure I left with no questions, which has never happened for me at any other appointment. The assistant or tech (I’m forgot to ask her name) who helped the doc was also great. She made sure to make my pup feel comfortable and was so gentle. I’m so blown away and felt so good leaving that appointment. I wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else after this point.

Experiencia positiva: My dog needed surgery and they ran a second round of tests instead of the necessary surgery causing excessive vet bills. This vet is good for regular visits not emergency care!
Bernadine, we located you in our system and are very perplexed by your review. Your pet was not seen for an emergency of any kind nor an emergency surgery. Furthermore there were no repeated tests only the tests you approved when you scheduled to have them done. Your pet was not seen for a surgical procedure plan at any time though you had hoped to have it removed when you came for a tech appointment for one of the tests and began cursing at our team when you found out that we could not just remove it as a tech appointment. Initially your pet came in for an ear issue and over the course of exams our veterinarian identified this mass and discussed options and recommendations with you. Given your pets advanced age, the delicate location of the mass and other health issues it was advised to determine if the mass was malignant or not before making a plan to remove it because it would alter how it was approached and your pets safety is of the most importance. We have since provided you an estimate for the requested removal and you have that scheduled with us. If you have decided to seek care elsewhere or do not want to proceed as planned you will need to call and cancel the surgery to avoid late cancellation fees.
Experiencia fantástica: I really really like the staff here, they are very caring and seem to be fully invested in my pet. Not feeling like I'm JUST another patient. The communication was amazing. The options I was given for my pet never felt forced they explained it to me why and what we were looking for. I never felt like I paid for somthing my cat didn't need. And that's always comforting. Prices were very reasonable. Thank you guys for being so great!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my cat in and they are awesome. They got me in fairly quickly and told me if my cat seemed worse to call them. They were really good with him and they contacted me 3 days later to check on my kitty Cheech! I would recommend Union Animal Hospital to my family, friends and anyone looking for a vet!

Experiencia fantástica: My new go-to vet for my exotic pets. My corn snake had some pretty bad swelling of his eye. Dr. griffith was quick to diagnose him and got him in right away to get it fixed. All the staff are very kind, and they did a great job explaining everything to me. So far, he's been doing great after his procedure.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been clients for over 10yrs when UAH was Affordable pet dental plus. As they have grown their service gets even better. We love all the vets, they are knowledgeable and caring. They take care of their clients.. they always get us in for an emergency which isn't the case everywhere else. They don't force anything but give you all the information to make your best educated decision. I moved about 2 hrs from spokane and still make the drive, I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: Very informative. Both the tech and the vet were relational and realistic. I loved how the vet explained what they were seeing to me and gave me good context. Based on our meeting, I trust the vet's expertise to take care of my cat in a thorough manner without trying to "rob" me by being excessive in the procedures. This clinic has historically been less expensive that other clinics I've visited or called for pricing.

Experiencia fantástica: Best veterinary office ever. I’ve been a client since this office was Affordable Pet Dental in 2017 and I will be a client forever. They have helped my animals in tremendous ways. From last minute sedations to remove a rogue bone from a lower jaw, to saving my rescue puppy on the brink of death, to surgery for my dog with cancer, down to the “little” things like cleanings and teeth extractions. They have been the most kind, professional, and helpful group of people I have ever had met. They truly care about my pets like they’re their own. I will always recommend friends, family, and anyone else who needs great care for their pets to come to UAH. An extra thanks from the crew! After reading other reviews, I want to add something…. As an established client, I have never had an issue with Union getting my pet in as soon as possible. I have called with an emergency an hour before closing(on more than one occasion…..) and have been seen that same day because they didn’t want me to have to pay a large exam fee with the Pet ER. My sick puppy had to come in almost daily for weeks, they made room for him every single time, even when they were short staffed and struggling. Being established at a vet’s office is EXTREMELY important and would help many of these people that have “sudden and urgent” needs and don’t want to pay the ER fee.
Peyton I can’t thank you enough for not just your continued trust in our office but also for your compassion to all pets. We truly appreciate you sharing that you have first hand experienced how much we will work to do all we can to help even when it seems impossible. You are correct being established does make a huge difference because we have a mutual trusting relationship with you and that makes it so much easier to work efficiently and quickly when your pets need help. Experiencia fantástica: We had an emergency that ended up in having to say goodbye to my dog. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were so compassionate and so helpful. Saying goodbye is never easy and I really appreciate how much everyone there did their best to help me through all of it. When I feel ready to welcome a new family member into the household I will be coming here no doubt about it.

Experiencia negativa: I will never ever bring my baby back to this clinic. To hear that making sure my dog was not dying was interfering with the Dr's lunch break and how much of an inconvenience that was; was the most unprofessional thing I have ever heard. I would have happily gotten all of the necessary care for my baby but after hearing how my dog was intruding on her lunch break and she was displeased with it. I grabbed my baby and went elsewhere.
Alexis, I will start this response by saying that the only fact in your defamatory review is that you, a non-client of our hospital, showed up without an appointment, or even a phone call, during the staff and veterinarian’s lunch break asserting an emergency with your pet. The rest of your statement is a story of complete fiction. You were not only seen but several team members rushed to your pet’s aid carside, ushered her into the building, had her triaged, examined, and provided you a diagnostic and treatment plan complete with estimate before you could even complete your new client paperwork. Union Animal Hospital is in fact not an emergency clinic, though we do our best to accommodate emergency and urgent care appointments and we are also an appointment-based veterinarian office, though we try very hard to find a way to help walk ins. In this scenario we did both and without delay when we have no obligation to see you as a non-client in Spokane, which has a 24 hr Pet ER. The veterinarian, and several other staff members, did in fact miss a good portion of their only break that day to rush to your pet’s aid despite the fact you are trying to assert otherwise and did so because we care and frankly, we do this often because of our compassion for animals, their families, and our self-sacrificing drive to help. Despite your attempt at emotional manipulation your pet was not dying, a fact you were aware of when you walked in. The truth is you reported your pet had been acting this way for nearly 6 hours. This gave you plenty of time to have contacted us and several clinics in the hours prior to arrival. It also means you had ample time to just call ahead of your arrival with your concerns, neither of which you did. Despite your fears of her untimely demise, as you claim, you declined to proceed with any of the recommended tests or treatments and opted to take your dog home and monitor her. This occurred after a lengthy conversation with your partner, and you relayed that if it wasn’t parvo you were just going to take her home. You then proceeded to get online only minutes after leaving our office and post this completely fabricated review trying to put the blame on us for your decision to decline care and leave. The veterinarian you saw was alerted to this review and she called and spoke with you. During that phone call you asserted claims of what you overhead people saying. She clarified that what you claim you heard was a conversation between her and the receptionist that was returning from her lunch break. This was a necessary conversation because she didn’t know who you were or why you were there because you were not a scheduled appointment, not a current client and did in fact come in during the lunch break. The veterinarian explained to her the plan with your pet so she could proceed in helping you without any confusion or error. This conversation occurred a distance from you and on the other side of the exam room door and after you had declined everything. You took it upon yourself to turn this innocent staff communication into something it was not. What you have accomplished with this review is to illustrate why so many veterinary clinics are no longer doing what we did for you and instead referring to the ER. You managed to not just insult but spit in the face of everyone that dropped what they were doing and rushed to help you in your time of need. No one deserves to have their character unfairly attacked in anyway let alone publicly the way you have done and for that you will not be permitted to return to our clinic. We sure hope your pet is feeling better and make sure to keep the marijuana out of her reach to avoid potential further issues.
Experiencia positiva: The people who work at this facility are very caring, the wait time for being seen by a doctor once you get there is always very reasonable. The only drawback to the clinic, like with so many other businesses is the inability to be seen very quickly if you're not a known client. My advice to anybody with a pet is to establish yourself with a veterinarian.
Thank you very much Lee. We greatly appreciate your trust in our office and we are glad we could help you and your family in your time of need. You are correct there is a huge veterinary shortage and many clinics are filling up their appointments quickly so being established with a veterinarian often means you will be able to be seen quickly. While many clinics stopped taking new clients due to this issue we have not and never did even during the pandemic. That said we do reserve same day urgent care slots for all patients but sadly preference has to go to current clients if the day is getting too full. It is still very rare for us to turn away any pet in need and the only reason we do is if we are not able to provide the standard of care they need in a timely manner and we fear that will be to the pet’s disadvantage. Thankfully we have two emergency care facilities and that can often see those pets if we are not able too.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best Vet experiences I have had in a long time. We are not even patient's (until now) and they got me in the next day for a dental emergency, provided a thorough exam, and treated the issue immediately without me having to make another appointment. Definitely a nice change from having to wait 5+ hours at the Pet Emergency or 2-3 weeks to get into anywhere else. What's even better is my very anxious dog was more comfortable here than she has been anywhere else we've been. Most places want to sedate or muzzle her but the vet treating us just got right in there without hesitation. So very grateful to have found this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best vet I have ever experienced. Our first interaction with them was when our dog passed away last summer and they were wonderful during such a hard time for us. I just had to put down my baby (dog I have had for 13 years) and it was so hard but union animal hospital really cares about their patients, and I just received a card from them saying sorry for your loss, and everyone signed it. It means so much to me. I wanted to say thank you to the entire staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Union Animal Hospital is an amazing place. Everyone there is so nice to my dog. My dog actually loves going there! He gets really happy around the staff and the doctors. The doctors are very knowledgeable and the staff is always on top of things. I often need random things from them (paperwork for the pet insurance, tests for my dog's boarding, etc.) and they always provide whatever I need very quickly. I also appreciate the fact that they are NOT after your money. I've lost track of how many times I needed to go there because of a new health problem with my dog. Every single time, it was clear to me that they wanted to do what's best for my dog but were at the same time very considerate when it came to associated costs. Very understanding and kind-hearted people. Do not look any further. Tingo and I say thank you to everyone at Union Animal Hospital!

Experiencia fantástica: Came here for a second opinion from our vet. Have really enjoyed being able to go back with my pet into the exams with the vet, unlike at Garland Animal Clinic. I also love how easy it is to talk to someone. You call and get a human or a phone call within a short period of time. They also have a text number you can chat with them in real time and they email! Such a difference than our original vet. Prices are competitive and everyone I've met has been so kind and reassuring. I had a last minute issue and they squeezed my other dog in that day! So needless to say, I think they won over our business.

I heard right away from staff that email was received and fwd to Dr. I heard from the vet the same day. She answered all of my questions very thoroughly. I feel much more at ease now for my fur loves procedure.

Experiencia positiva: Have to say it has been better to go to a vet hospital when it ain't a life or death issue. That being said if it was an emergency this place would fall in line with the rest. However I believe the level of compassion would rise above that if their competitors. They are a bit worried about getting payed for missed appointments. There was a few things I had to sing pertaining to that, which I found obsessive. The doctor I had was a nice tough looking lady who explained things to me without me having to ask myself. Seemed very on top of things. And it is for these reasons I'll be glad to call this place my vet for Taloolha.
