Experiencia negativa: I took my sick dog in yesterday. They knew he wasn’t going to make it but still proceeded to lie to us and charge us $487 to find nothing wrong with him but knowing he was already gone but got our hopes up with all these medications!!! They told us if he isn’t better in 24 hours bring him back!! Well he didn’t make it 24 hours, we took him back and had to put him to sleep so he wouldn’t suffer anymore and they tried charging us to put him down after they said it would be free!!! I want my money back really smh!!! Yall are sad and pathetic people to do this to people!!!

Experiencia negativa: Used to be the go-to place in Oklahoma City. Today it's nothing of what it was. If you needed it for your farm animal's, dogs or cat, they either had it or would try to get it for you. I used to even order from them when my job would have me living in another state. It was a sad day for everyone in Oklahoma City when the powers that be, in my opinion, got stupid and closed its doors to the supply chain part of the name. Not to mention, when they changed, they also lost records of procedures done on my dog (had taken him there half his life. He lived for 14 years) and even my payment.

Her team and all the staff was very nice and humble!! We recommend 100%. Price was very reasonable as well that you can’t beat.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the first vet I started going to that I feel very comfortable asking a million questions without the fear of the vets or vet techs being rude or condescending. Everyone is so friendly and responsive and I trust my dogs life with them. Every time I visit (which is very often unfortunately) they already recognize my dog and almost everyone stops by his exam room to say hi and show him so much love. I think my dog might love going to the vet because he actually gets excited to be there. My dog recently had to go through a front limb amputation and they have been so supportive through the whole process. They even sent me pictures of him when i dropped him off for surgery which was so wonderful because I was sick with worry for him the whole time. When I sent them pictures of his amputation site over the weekend because I was worried, they were able to squeeze him in and get him all set up with the works to make him comfortable. I could quite literally gush about them forever. I hope if the vets and vet techs ever leave to another clinic, that they take me and my Good Boy with them. I highly recommend them and that says a lot because I am afraid of seeing any doctor, for human or animals.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been bringing my animals here for the past eight years at least… I’ve never had any issue with Swaims. They are always giving me detailed information on my animals as well as any procedures, prescriptions,cost associated with my visit, you name it. Annual checkups are around $200 total this IS cheap, considering all that they do for your animal ! They have puppy packages too! Don’t be afraid to bring all 10 of your babies up here if you need to ( under $100 a pup ) . Love the entire staff as well ! Everyone is genuine and so kind to the animals that cross their paths <3

Experiencia negativa: This morning I called to cancel my appointment for Ruby. I scheduled this appointment on Thursday for a minor skin irritation concern. Over the weekend the issue cleared up for the most part, so I called Monday morning (today) to cancel the appointment and opt for her NexGard to be mailed to my address like it was the previous month. The secretary informed me that she could not mail Rubys NexGard unless she came in for a routine heartworm test. I completely understood this protocol and asked if I could keep the appointment and come in for the heartworm exam. When I showed up the vet asked about the skin rash. I told her that it has cleared up. She decided to take a look anyway, I thought this was just because she cared. No. It was to charge me an additional $55 just for looking. When I expressed my concern and explained what I actually came to the vet for, I was told to simply have a nice day. WAS I SUPPOSED TO STOP THE ASSISTANT WHEN SHE ASKED TO “TAKE A LOOK” TO AVOID BEING CHARGED FOR AN EXAM I CANCELLED? I UNDERSTOOD THE PROTOCOL FOR NEXGARD, HENCE WHY WE SHOWED UP FOR THE SCREENING!!! AND NO!! I WAS NOT QUOTED ANYTHING PRIOR TO ARRIVAL!! HER VACCINE RECORDS WERE EMAILED THATS WHY YOU WERE ABLE TO DO THE HEARTWORM TEST! Your response is invalid, I was charged $55 for nothing. Simply glancing at something that I specifically cancelled, in today’s economy. Ruthless.

Experiencia fantástica: This place knows how to give you the runaround to get more MONEY FOR THEM. I took my car there yesterday she was skinny not eating much. They sold me kittens food. And said keep her drinking. She dehydrated. I call them today Friday May 2. And asked if they could give her a IV. They came back on phone and said yes. But I need to come get some gabapentin to calm her down. I did that $18. Brought her (my cat) back later. Now they want to do blood work$275. Came back said she has bobcat fever. She needs to be put down $150. I WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER ANIMAL THERE AGAIN. They should have done blood work yesterday. Instead they gave me the run-around to make more money for them.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very sick kitty. I originally brought her in and they ran tests, did bloodwork. After spending over $500, the tests were inconclusive. We were given medicine to increase her appetite. Then scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks later. But after a week she seemed to be getting worse. We scheduled an appointment for the afternoon next day but when we woke up we noticed she was doing a lot worse. We ran to the clinic and noticed a note on the door stating they were having a team meeting. We knew Polly couldn't wait. We kept knocking on the door until someone answered. We knew they had her tests and were familiar with what was going on. We were told they were in a team meeting and they weren't an urgent care. We never dreamed that they could care less. We explained what we thought and told her how urgent it was. She said, "I understand but we're having a team meeting". I said, "this baby is more important than a team meeting". She said I understand as she closed the door. Polly was gone before we got home. I worked in the dental field for 40 years. I've had my staff meetings interrupted many times with people "just in pain, not dying". I really thought their clinic cared more. We've taken our dog there for years and I never saw this coming. Heartbroken

Experiencia positiva: Rather get money than help the people or pet but my dog is ok but I asked for package that included the exam supposably but they didn't give me that instead said the visit fee and to treat was better option for my budget but if the exam visit was included in the package and I still paid more than the item sounded we should going to a different vet next time

Experiencia negativa: At first it was all very good. The front desk lady was super friendly as was the vet tech. I brought my kitten in for deworming and the starter vaccinations and I am not the best with dates as being dyslexic I don’t do specific times or dates very well and said we got our kitten around Christmas time. Easy fix as I just looked at my phone for pictures and that’s great because they have dates. The vet entered the room with no hello and in a very authoritarian manner told me me cat is no way four to five months old and it really just caught me off guard and as she was telling me his teeth are only present with adult cats (a year) I was made to feel like I was lying about my cat and I honestly shut down when people talk to me like that. When I showed the technician and the vet the video she couldn’t care less to see that, yes I was off but not like she was demanding he was a year and needed more treatment that went up from 95$ to 200$ and while she said ok to letting me pay the first quote I went ahead and did what she suggested. But to treat people as horrible pet owners who are bringing their pets in for care is absurd and while I understand pets are their focus and this is great, it would be great for doctors to be understanding that most people are struggling right now and it’s rude to make people feel uncomfortable even if we’re not the BEST pet owners. A pregnant neighbor brought us this little kitty and we have no pets, but said okay to taking it as she couldn’t take care of any more. We love our cat and do the best we can with what we have and can manage on life’s terms. We were going to go back to have him fixed but I was told a place will do it for free and there is War Acres Vet that’s much cheaper and said I don’t have to come back every month for worm treatment pills. Also they could have given my kitten the pills when we were there because that isn’t an easy thing to do and after paying a little over 200 dollars it’s something that they can easily do. Honestly she was just very rude and being kind goes a lot further than making people feel stupid. I’m not a vet and yes I was off a bit. He was no more than 8 weeks on October 14. So six months at the most. Here he is as a baby. He’s very sweet and very playful still like a kitten. The reality is yes poor people have pets too and care for them and it’s better than them being homeless. That saying if you can’t afford pets is nice for those that can afford everything your pets need at any given time but the fact is people with money and without love their pets the same so don’t pass judgement. It doesn’t make anything better.

I felt no pressure to load up on a lot of products & services and felt the pricing was fair. Coco seemed as comfy as a pet could be at a vet’s ofc., as was I. We appreciate Swaim Vet Clinic very much!

The vet who did my cats neuter took a look at him after he tore his stitches with no appointment and managed to slot him in and get him patched up. They are life savers. The facility is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. They even will do a free check up if you adopt from the Humane Society!

However, the last 3 times I’ve come the wait has been nearly 45 minutes past our appointment time and today the room we were placed in had blood literally all over the floor that I had to clean myself to avoid my dog licking it up I hate leaving negative reviews for nice people but that was disturbing.

Very informative, ready to answer any questions, and will ensure that your pet is healthy. And if they're not, they'll let you know. If I can successfully adopt my little kitten officially, this clinic will be her primary care.

Well.......the staff at Swaims CAME THROUGH AGAIN ! Our beloved fur baby became sick , and was nearly 12 years old . It was his time to go . HONESTLY , the compassion , concern and kind communication from the staff was nothing short of a GOD send. For those who LOVE their pets ( and for those who just just OWN them ) , Swaims is where you want to go . The process of "putting our baby down" was alot less abrasive to our hearts thanks to the GENUINE love & kindness shown by the staff (as usual ) , from the front desk , to the technicians , to the doctors and surgeons. This post is an addition to my original post, because Swaims deserves RECOGNITION for their service , quality , prices , staff , environment and more. As we greive the loss of our sweet , sweet boy P A N D A ......it is owed to Swaims that they are acknowledged during this difficult time..... because they made it easier in SO MANY WAYS ....including the heartfelt hugs........thank you Ladies.

Experiencia negativa: I have been coming here off and on for years so has my mom grandma and family friends but I will not be back nor will I send anyone new to them they are not good they treated me and my dog like we was trash paid 150 for barely any examination done and they are just money hungry these new ladies working in there are not worried about your pets health they are just worried about how much money you have. I feel like they even charge you to simply answer any questions. The one was rude to don't throw a dog treat for my pup to eat on your dirty hairy floors to eat you guys really disappointed and my dog still needs attention it should have been a one and done examination to see everything that needs to be done and then go from there on not piece it out and cause more than one trip that's going to cost another almost 400 dollars. I understand everything has went up but this is not the swaims that use to be so if you have money they will treat you and your dog fine but if your struggling a bit then expect barely any help leaving you with more questions than answers.

Experiencia fantástica: Brought my new kitty (he was a stray) in to check him over. Charlie had a yeast infection in his left ear, they gave me antibiotics to put in his ear. They were very compassionate to him and understanding. We have our follow up today and then scheduling to get him fixed. They gave me the pricing with a detailed description of cost. One of the best vet clinics I have visited, all of the staff is compassionate and nice, the facility is clean and doesn't stink. This is our new vet place.

I was in just in for a nail trim but had to wait on the bus so I saw lots of activity. Liam the tech is always great with my dog the Vets are top notch thanks for all the years of care.

Called how much it would cost to get my dogs neutered and was told by receptionist that she doesn't have any info about that, and that we would need to pay $66 for each dog to see the Vet first.. I then asked a time frame on when I would be able to get them in to be fixed and she said she has no info on that either and we would discuss it when we saw the vet.. no other clinics require you to pay to see the Vet just so they can tell u it's OK for them to get fixed and pay another $100-$200 per dog.. its a very shady and scammy buisness practice I feel since they are the only place that does it this way out of the 6-8 places I called... I for one will not be using Swains for anything and it's sad because they used to be such a great clinic...

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely loved the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. This was my 1st time bringing my lil girl Willow to be seen. I was recommended by a friend since their family have always used Swaim's Veterinary Clinic for their pets. I was so impressed that I could make an online appt and get her to be seen the same day! Willow was seen for a UTI infection. I was not able to get into her normal vet the same day. I was also very impressed with the fees they charged, I felt they were pretty reasonable too. I will be switching to Swaim's Veterinary Clinic for all my future vet needs.

Experiencia negativa: Charged me 900 dollars to test my puppy and my friends puppy for Parvo. We obviously wasn't prepared for that and the vet told us that one of us would have to stay there with the puppies while the other one went to get the money. Our appointment was at 10 am and we didn't leave until after 3pm

Experiencia negativa: I definitely used to love this place. It provided everything you needed at a great price. After my last visit, I can assure you it's not the same. Some of the staff are inexperienced children who make the experience extremely uncomfortable. It seems they only offer half of the professional quality and purchasing options as before. I will not return!

Experiencia negativa: Was told we could bring our Chihuahua in as he was bleeding in his poop as a walk in and the wait would be an hour or we could do an appointment..for 2:30 a hole so we decided to go asap n was turned away soon as we got there ...an hour difference is a difference with our baby life ! Experiencia fantástica: If I could give Swaims 100 stars I would! My cat Magic ate a nerf dart and got super sick over Labor Day. My normal vet was totally scheduled for 4 days as most of the clinics were after a holiday weekend. I called around and Swaims was the fourth call and the soonest to get me in. Dr. Daily and her assistant Kim were super kind and answered all my questions ( I may have spent a good part of Labor Day on Google trying to figure out what to do on my own). 2 days later unfortunately the nerf dart had not passed through his system and we were back for exploratory surgery. I saw Dr. Ridenour this time with her assistant Azucena and they were just as kind and helpful. When it was decided that Magic for sure needed surgery they let me know that they had no room on the schedule that day and I may need to go to another clinic. But then Dr. Ridenour called Dr. Daily who was on her day off and Dr. Daily came to our rescue and came in on her day off to do the surgery. This is how you earn a customer for life let me tell you!!!! Thank you so much to the whole team. The receptionists at the front are the sweetest and super helpful too. Seriously you are all hero's to our family!!

The staff is great, very friendly, and they make sure that they explain everything that your baby will go thru or the meds they may need! Even if they need special meds they have their own pharmacy in the building. As you can see our lil kitten was super relaxed here!!

I started going here because they were the closest vet to where I was living and I still take my pets here even though I have moved about 30 minutes away because they are so kind and respectful! The Front desk staff are so sweet and everyone makes me feel heard and like my pets are in good hands!
