Experiencia fantástica: My review is specifically for the Noah’s Ark location on Colerain and for Dr. Savage and her incredible team. My 16-week-old Frenchie puppy had been struggling with a recurring rectal prolapse. After two failed purse-string sutures at MedVet—costing me $1,500—I knew our next step needed to be a colopexy. We had a surgery scheduled for Monday, but he prolapsed again before his surgery date. At that point, I was already $3,000 into vet bills over just a couple weeks, and Grady quoted $3,000–$4,000 for a scheduled colopexy, with ER pricing being an even bigger unknown. I first called the Ft. Wright location hoping they could place another purse string to hold him over until Monday, and was referred me to their Colerain location. I was #14 in line at 10:20 a.m., and by 10:36 I received a text saying they were ready for us. Driving from KY, I called to let them know I would be a little late, and in the meantime asked for an estimate. The receptionist (a brunette with glasses—wish I remembered her name) was so kind and helpful. To my surprise, she told me they could perform a colopexy that same day. The suture would have been $500–$800, and the colopexy $1,000–$1,500. Since he would need sedation either way and I didn’t want him to continue suffering or risk more setbacks, the surgery made the most sense. When we arrived, we were seen almost immediately. Dr. Savage came in and thoroughly explained the procedure—her bedside manner was outstanding. She answered every question, took her time, and made us feel truly cared for, not rushed or like “just another case.” We put down a deposit (a little over half the estimate), left Bear in their care, and went home. Around 3:15 p.m., we received a call that surgery was complete, he was doing great, and they would continue monitoring him. When we picked him up, we were shocked—to learn the final cost was actually less, and they refunded us the difference. That kind of integrity is rare; they easily could have at least kept what we paid. They also let us know that Bear had a temporary suture placed and that it would be removed in 5–7 days at no charge, with no appointment needed—another gesture that really spoke to their compassion and commitment to care. I can’t speak on long-term results yet, but today’s experience was exceptional. Several staff even told him they loved him and kissed him before we left. It was incredibly sweet and reassuring, that he was indeed treated like their own. I felt completely comfortable trusting Bear with Dr. Savage and her team, and I’m praying this is the end of his prolapse journey. I’ll update if anything changes.

Experiencia fantástica: Noah's Ark saved my boy's life. My 4 month old puppy and I were attacked by 4 pitbulls. He was badly injured. They took him straight back for treatment. The staff was compassionate and understanding and extremely helpful. I'm so very thankful to everyone there that helped us.

Experiencia negativa: I've taken a couple of my animals here on emergency care and it was great the reason for my one-star review as I find it ridiculous that you can't call and make an actual appointment for your pet that you have to do some online automated wait list that tells you when you need to leave well I live too far away and have too many other obligations to have to sit and watch my phone to see when I can bring my cat to the vet it is ridiculous and for that reason I will not be bringing my pets

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this animal hospital , 4 years ago their doctor misdiagnosed my dog eyes and ran multiple several tests that billed me $ 500 dollars and said that my dog had glaucoma , I really doubt over this doctor decision and I ended up took my dog to a different veterinarian hospital and actually is just a little scratch on his eyes ! Not a glaucoma! I will not recommend this place !

Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming here with my son Cheddar for years, and I can not say enough good things about the staff. They are so friendly and remember my boy everytime I need them. I had a horrible expirience at the west Chester location yesterday (which I only had to go to due to a scheduling issue) after Cheddar had his first surgery, a total lack of empathy, patience, and information when I arrived to pick him up, I was a wreck. So I called my friends at the Colerain location to see if they could help with some info and the sincerity and compassion made me want to cry the lady on the phone remembered my boy immediately, comforted me about my fears, explained more about his condition, and just plain LISTENED to me. It made such a world of difference. 1000/10 definitely recommend these guys every time

Experiencia negativa: I adopted an older doxie mix and took her to Noah’s ark for a checkup. They told me not to worry about her mouth. It would just smell bad, don’t do a dental. Well, she got an infection and an abcess. It burst. It was bad. We did end up doing euthanasia because she had that and other issues. The euthanasia went badly. The vet tech did the first try. Yes, the first try. She didn’t get a vein and tried twice to inject. So she went and got the vet who did it flawlessly. It shouldn’t have gone that badly and my dog should have been offered a dental instead of telling us not to.

Experiencia fantástica: We had to put our best friend down because of tumors in his stomach. They were beyond great with my family and my screaming toddler! They had so much compassion after we called SEVEN different vets and the vet today is the first vet to show us compassion.

Experiencia fantástica: My cat was involved in an accident. My husband rushed her to this vet. Everyone was so caring that worked in the back they took my cat right away and took care of her. The only problem I had was with one of the receptionist. She was very rude and told my husband next time you need to call for an appointment how do you even know we could see her. This was an emergency and this was the closest place to us. I want to thank Dr. Savage for saving my cat. Thank you.

Experiencia positiva: I am amazed by Noah’s ark today. I called first thing in the morning when our lab was having a seizer and neurological problems with getting into some bug repellent. They met me at the door and immediately took him to triage. I filled paper work out and went to a room asap. They kept him all day, and answered every single time I called and answered so many questions. He’s home and on a slow road to recovery but Noah’s ark saved my soul today. I couldn’t thank them enough

Experiencia negativa: I had a really confusing experience back at the end of September. I tried to make an appointment for my cat to have her nails trimmed and they told me I had to sign up for a WellPlan in order to schedule that (which I later found out was not true, but she would've had to have an exam/rabies shot instead, thank you to the WellPlan person at Ft. Wright). What I thought was going to be a nail trim ended up being a lot of vaccines and blood work that I wasn't prepared for. Dr. Coleman examined her and told me she needed two teeth removed as soon as possible. I thought that was strange because he didn't do any testing it was based off a visual exam. They didn't follow up about her blood work results so I had to call them a week later. A snarky vet tech called me back and casually said my cat is in kidney failure and to see them in six months. Like what??? When I requested an emailed copy she said "well, you wouldn't know what you're looking at but I guess I can forward the blood work." Oh! Ok! Followed with an argument about whether or not I have a dog to keep my cat of its water bowl but my dog has been dead for two years. So I made a second opinion appointment with a vet we used to go to before we moved (NA is closer which is why I scheduled with them in the first place bc my cat doesn't like car rides). Today she had a dental x-ray and cleaning that discovered she had no gaps in gums aka she didn't need those teeth removed. This vet gave her three rounds of antibiotics and her teeth have been doing great. Also, the second vet reviewed the blood work and retested and guess what? No kidney failure. I'm really surprised by this experience, especially given the great reviews (especially for Dr. Coleman). I have previously visited the Ft. Wright location a few years back for a different cat and had a great experience. My cat was so traumatized from this that she didn't interact with us for almost a full 24 hours. I'm not not recommending this vet, but I hope that if you get a sneaking suspicion that you need a second opinion and you are able to afford it that you go to that second opinion before any surgery or major diagnosis.

Experiencia negativa: I got the email for the reminder of the cat (Nutmeg) to get her exam. I am still having a hard time processing things. My Marley (dog) passed away and you all didn't even do so much as a card, let alone a call the next day to check in. You knew he would pass away. I paid a high cost for him to sit in an ICU tank all day without us around. We were told 7ish to visit. His options were bring home or get to another facility with overnight. He died in 40 minutes off the icu tank. I brought him in every other month for his injection. I asked numerous times why he was gaining weight and told his heart sounded fine and then he somehow had an enlarged heart with no medicine. His trachea collapsed and I physically made an appointment and was told just narrowing of the throat. No x-rays suggested then or cost estimates. Most of the girls and guys knew him as spicey Marley. Everyone around begged me not to take him there and I felt okay and defied the family drama. When he truly needed help it was overpriced and he died. They even gave me a full supply of medicine to pay for when he died under an hour home??? Nothing really makes sense. My heart is broken. I was not leaving him dead overnight. I went to Grady's for cremation and they hugged me while crying. They sent a card. They called the next day and I wasnt even a normal client for them. Never been there. They delivered my dog to me at home cremated. You all need to think about those who are losing pets a little better. People relied on you for support and kindness.

Experiencia negativa: Would not recommend this place for anyone’s pet. Brought my fairly young kitten into this vet for a wellness check everything checked out Good Friday I left paid their 135$ well come into Sunday my kitten started having major health issues breathing not eating so I called soon as I could Monday made a appointment for what I thought would be a emergency a kitten not breathing well. welp get their at 4:30 on time and wasn’t seen till at least 5:45 in that time I heard 3-4 complaints about the doctors and nurses over my initial last visit. after my hour wait the nurse finally came over grabbed my kitten quick took me back to a room and the doctor informed me she wouldn’t make it threw the night the doctor made it he acted like he did me a favor by not charging a wellness exam after they just did not even 4 days prior and just charging me to put her down threw the process of that I didn’t like the smirk grin on that doctors face after I walked out with my deceased kitten will never return. Business is not ran good at all Feel like the whole process was not thorough and unprofessional spent over 250$ in less then 5 days just to have my kitten pass away without them having any treatment options telling me it would take a week to get like that would help. What comes around goes around in my book. Would not recommend

Experiencia negativa: Warning to prior clients customers over the years who have used this location and others. This is an honest review. The quality of care has went downhill after hiring young veterinarians right out of school who are incompetent not following up on care overcharging and being trained to just worry about the wallet and not about your pet. Prior reviews show negligence of care and clients ending up with their pets dying under the care of Noah's ark animal clinics. There are many reputable small practices around the greater Cincinnati area that will give you undivided attention great care and concern for your pet. All of the great veterinarians have retired or left practice due to all of the new changes and unqualified management as well as unqualified new upper management. You have been warned by one of those clients whose pet ended up becoming deceased while under Noah's ark animal clinics veterinarian care. Photos before and after while under their care

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best place ever!! … and I could afford the bill without going on a 10 year payment plan Unfortunately today was the first time ever not thrilled with my Dr. All of the doctors there are very kind and go out of their way to help. I have always found the doctors to be very thorough and pay extreme attention to detail. I would recommend to anyone, but I would ask not to see Dr. Katie Taylor. There are several reasons I will just name one. The fact that I saw large scabs in the inside of my dog ears ( she didn’t see) And was concerned with them after she walked out of the room. I stuck my head out requested she come in and look…. she took a hard pass on that and went on to her next patient. She had already passed out my bill!

Experiencia fantástica: We have been going to Noah’s Ark for many years. Our dog recently had to have a mass removed from his leg. He had this procedure done at the Colerain location. From the phone call to the biopsy report, it was the best experience for him and us. This location has wonderful staff. They were kind, respectful, eager to answer questions…. and I asked many. Thank you for treating our Dakota like family. We appreciate you all.

Experiencia negativa: I love Noah’s ark and use it for all my animals besides my cats, they go to ucan. Needless to say I highly doubt I will ever go to the Colerain location again. I took my dog who had 10 puppies for the first time (I’ve never been through this) and they said they were so concerned about her getting mastitis but didn’t give her the proper meds for it. Well she got it 1.5 days later. I also took one of the puppies with me to get his vaccines and dewormer. After being so focused on the state of the mom, I leave and on my way home realize they didn’t even give him the vaccines, only the dewormer. Needless to say I have to go right back to the vet again. He was 6 weeks and 3 days old. I give them 2 stars because maybe they were busy. The people at the desk were polite but the nurses and doctor were not what I would call very polite or caring. People who love their fur babies could use more patience and care in times like these. I was wondering why there were notes on the wall stating you would be asked to leave if you argued with the vets (or something to that effect). Well now I know why. I’ll stick with the Ft.Wright and Florence locations, way more caring and affectionate! Plus they don’t forget what your fur babies need that day!

Experiencia fantástica: Noah’s ark saved my dogs life and I will never forget their kindness and compassion during the entire ordeal. My dog had choked on an apple slice, my husband and I rushed him to Noah’s ark, even though we showed up after closing out of complete desperation, they took him in quickly and treated him promptly. They truly went above and beyond. I can’t thank Noah’s Ark and their entire team enough for what they did, truly.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to take Indy in for a hematoma in his ear, he was sore and scared. Dr. Coleman was gentle and kind with him, and we decided he would need sedation. I came back a few hours later and he explained how the surgery went, and I'm so pleased with the care he gave my baby. He also gave me a detailed estimate of the bill so I knew what to expect. Top notch care, I really appreciate it. Also a big shout-out to the gentleman who gave me aftercare instructions (I'm sorry I didn't get his name), but he was also exceptionally kind and thorough.

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly I thought this was going to be a long morning for me, but it wasn’t. I was there an hour max. The receptionist was great and professional as well as the vet and the doctor. All amazing. I also thought I was going to get hit with a half a thousand dollar bill and I didn’t. I was grateful of that. Glad I took my fur baby here.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE FOR EXOTIC ANIMALS UNLESS URGENT. went here for our exotic pet who got very sick. he died there. and not only did the vet not even think to allow us to see him while on his death bed. but HE (the vet) also shows clear signs of being a heartless old man who doesn't know how to hold his tongue in mournful situations. i WOULD NOT EVER recommend this vet to exotic pet owners. EVER

Experiencia negativa: We came in for a 10:30 and we’ve been waiting for literally 2 and a half hours just for shots and it wasent even that busy. This isn’t the first time we’ve been waiting for this long here either. This is the single worst clinic I’ve ever been to.. don’t recommend coming here in all realness. Prices are okay but wait time is crazy. There are cheaper, better and faster places. Worst animal clinic ever!!

Experiencia fantástica: I am greatly appreciative of the staff for waiting for me tonight. I ran late due to the weather. My 16 year old Mainecoon Goblin was suffering with age and pain. It was his time and that was very difficult for me. The Vet Tech and Dr. Emily Robinson made it as easy as it could possibly be. They allowed my daughter and I to stay with him as long as we needed to. We were able to get little vials of his fur to keep and will receive his paw prints and ashes as well. We will love and miss Goblin dearly. ❤️ They made it a little easier. Thank you both so much! Geralyn Ray

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic on Colerain Avenue. After years of struggling to get effective treatment for my dog elsewhere, I brought him here—and the difference was immediate. Dr. Emily Robinson took the time to truly understand his needs, and for the first time, he’s receiving proper care. His arthritis and skin issues are being managed, and he’s finally comfortable and no longer in pain. They also helped me find affordable options, including price matching through Chewy, which made a big difference. I’m so grateful for Dr. Robinson’s compassionate, thorough, and honest approach. The office staff has been very supportive and helpful as well! Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: bad experiences here. cat was spayed here and almost died, brought my dog in to be treated for skin allergy and was just rushed and they tried to sneak in flea and heartworm medication which isn't necessary. got to the front and they ran a bunch of tests and prescribed 3 different meds without explanation and told me it was about $400 for everything as if it wasn't a big deal. told them I do not want the flea and heartworm medication and it dropped it down to 200 something, but there was additional charges for tests done I did not agree to. Just wanted someone to look at her skin and give me an idea of how bad her allergies are and discuss a possible solution.

Experiencia negativa: I imagine they are great if you need an emergency vet. But they don’t take appointments so you have to join the waitlist online. I joined 2 hours ago at 8am. They kept adding people ahead of me in line. I texted the number asking why and they said they had several emergencies come in. I can’t waste my entire Saturday just to get my dog her vaccines and allergy shot. We will be going to another vet from now on.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience here during our emergency visit. Our normal vet was closed when our Pomeranian suddenly started bleeding from his eye which was very scary because he’s just a puppy. (He’s okay now and we have medicine to treat his injury.) Called several local veterinary practices in the area and couldn’t get through on the first 3 places. When the receptionist from Noah’s Ark answered she was very friendly and calm and helped us set up a visit. We got text updates about our place in line during our drive over which was pretty nice. When we arrived they were so nice to us and we were in a room in less than 10 minutes I think (impressive for a vet in general but doubly so considering we were not established patients and it was an emergency visit). The vet tech was so sweet and gentle with our pup and she was very professional. The doctor was great, he fixed up our dog and we felt comfortable and informed the entire time. Whole staff was wonderful, we’re very grateful for their efforts and their hard work. Facility was very clean and prices seemed fair. Front door is handicapped accessible and the waiting room is large enough to accommodate wheelchair/motorized access.

Experiencia negativa: I am writing this message in regards to my French bulldog, Tito who had received surgery from Dr. Savage on September 18th 2024. Tito received a standard neuter procedure along with Nares and soft pallete adjustment. June 2024 I brought in a stray kitten to your office. I decided to keep her and was receiving kitten shots from your office. During that time my boyfriend and I had decided to also bring in our 4 year French bulldog to get a standard wellness physical exam. During this visit Dr. Han Had examined him said he was perfectly healthy and she would recommend getting him neutered to prevent cancers and later issues that could be presented with not having your dog neutered. My boyfriend and I were both nervous, considering he is a brachiallic breed and anesthesia can be a risk. She insisted that this was a routine surgery and recommended the breathing adjustments to also give him a better quality of life. We decided to go through with the surgery wanting him to have a better quality of life. We had concerns and anytime that we had a question we caught up to the office prior to his date to get clarification. Everyone we talked to said this was a standard procedure. He had had the surgery on September 18 and passed away suddenly on Sunday September 22nd. Between those days I was monitoring him closely I had called the vet every single day with concerns and was told the symptoms of healing were normal. Saturday they recommended to bring him back in because the Doctor Who had performed his surgery ( Dr Savage) was in the office and since I had concerns she would look at him to be safe. We brought him and he was examined and everything was normal and he was given more antibiotics and some anti-nausea medicines and we’re told by tomorrow Sunday, September 22 he would start to improve drastically. Sunday morning comes around, I take him outside to use the restroom (She told me this is the only thing I should be pushing him to do) He comes back inside start shaking peas a little bit immediately falls over having a seizure and an instant heart attack that stops his breathing. We rush him to an emergency vet but it was too late they were unable to bring him back to life after multiple rounds of CPR. We are devastated. This surgery was pushed and recommended by your office if we would’ve never brought him in for a wellness exam and we’re never offered the surgery our dog would still be alive today. I am writing this message , not in hopes to get anything back, because our precious bulldog is priceless, But to bring awareness to your office and the doctor that they do in fact have a death on their hands. I hope this reaches the doctors that have seen him and saw how worried and concerned we were and how we were doing our best efforts to be the best dog parents we could be and because of their recommendations our precious puppy is now dead. I am writing this in to hopefully prevent another Dog parent to go through this because of your office and your doctors recommendations. I hope this reaches who it needs to reach.

Experiencia negativa: I am sorry, but I am giving this office a 0 review. My son brought his dog in to be euthanized. This of course was an extremely difficult decision for him as his dog was 15yrs. old. and in pain and his back legs keep giving out. The dog whines most of the time as I am sure he is in pain. My son saw a vet and came away with a prescription of antibiotics, which we have no idea why they would give a dog antibiotics if you have no idea what was wrong with him. Said he did have a heart murmur and gave him some pills for his heart. Not sure what the heart pills will do. They never once talked about the quality of life for this dog. They just assumed that give him some medicine and charge them $200.00 and they can be on their way. I have no doubt that within a week or so, we will be taking this dog to be euthanized. I am not sure if these Vets realize the difficult decision this is for their humans, no one wants their dog to be put down, they are part of our families, and we love them. Which means he will probably suffer a while longer. I can guarantee you though it will not be through here. If you are going here just for vaccinations, I would say you are okay, doing that. Anything serious, please take your pet somewhere else.

Experiencia positiva: The closest veterinarian to where I live I have taken my dogs there several times Thankfully not for anything too important just basic shots for my puppy and x-rays. I do feel a little rushed and they focus too much on trying to selling flea treatment even though my pets didn't have fleas the rooms are kind of small and the waiting room floor is very slippery and wide open so the animals do not have any privacy and bark at each other. I also feel that the staff is somewhat overworked as they rush you in and out once you are called. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable but feel that they are overworked by the amount of animals that they see everyday.

Experiencia negativa: Got our 8 month old lab puppy spayed at the Colerain location. We were told she needed to be calm/inactive for 10 days. Called to report that the “stay calm” medications were not working on our dog at all and we feared she was at risk of injuring herself. The Vet’s response was to use “training” and “puzzle toys” to keep our incredibly hyperactive, very vocal puppy calm. Not exactly helpful or well received by a household that’s been dealing with a barking dog all day and night for 6 days. I should add that the other location of Noah’s Ark was fantastic to deal with.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Hird might be the best vet I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, the news I got today was devastating (a terminal cancer diagnosis) but Dr. Hird listened to symptoms, past treatments, and then took a look in my dogs mouth. No tests or diagnostics were run but she knew what was wrong. I took my dog to get a fine needle aspiration later to confirm the diagnosis and sure enough, it came back positive for cancer. What an amazing Dr. only 80 bucks just by looking in my dogs mouth and I had an answer. When I asked about my dogs age, Dr. Hird also gave an educated approximation and went as far as to show and explain to me in detail what exact signs told her the age approximation she gave me. To say I’m pleased is an understatement. The bedside manner I received from both this Dr. and her vet techs was also outstandingly excellent. Great job to these awesome people Eden and Blue

Experiencia negativa: I been taking my dog to Noah's Ark on Colerain every since he was a baby, and now he's five and now they telling me he have liver problems. After all these years you just trying to tell me all of a sudden he got liver problems? They gave me some medicine and sent me on my way, the medicine seem like it's not working so I called them back and what they said to me I couldn't believe ain't nothing else we can do for you that's what they said about my dog my baby. You know how that made me feel? People kept telling me about that place and I kept saying no it's good, they don't care they only care about the money I don't even see how they still in business it's terrible I'm going to talk to a lawyer because I want to know how they still in business after all these bad reviews and how they treat people in their pets. Someone told me when you take him there do not put him on the floor you know how many times my dogs walked on that floor all those sick dogs in there. Listen to what I'm saying please you love your pets find somewhere else to take them.

Experiencia negativa: I visited for a simple vaccination for my pet, but I was surprised to be charged for a wellness exam that I didn't request. The staff were friendly, but I felt that the additional charge was not communicated upfront, which was disappointing. It's important for services and fees to be transparent to ensure trust and clarity for pet owners. If possible, please issue a refund for the wellness exam of $38.

Experiencia fantástica: I've recently been taking my cat to Noah's Ark Animal Clinic of Colerain. She is diabetic, and I need help managing her illness. The staff is friendly and helpful. They recognized an emergency and moved quickly to stabilize my cat's blood sugar. Their prices are reasonable, and they don't push expensive tests or treatments, even when I ask about them. They are honest about what will help and what won't. I trust them with my cat's care.

Experiencia fantástica: Went there yesterday for 1st time. Was there years ago, once when Colerain Animal Clinic. My experience was fantastic yesterday. Did the waitlist, when I was notified my turn was coming up, I had issues getting my Himalayan cat in her carrier. Let them know I'd be running a lil late and they said no problem be safe. When I did end up getting there, which wasn't that long of a time span, everything and everyone there was wonderful!!! The ladies at the front desk registered me with no problems and were very nice. I sat in the waiting room for a very short amount of time. When I was called back to the room the tech was very efficient, asking me all kinds of questions regarding my cat and why we were there. I only waited in the room a short time b4 the vet came knocking at the door. She was excellent!! Very thorough exam, and caring and knowledgeable. She did paperwork/notes which I was given about what she did and what I was to do once getting home. Very reasonable fee too. I am excited to tell my sister. I'm sure she'll wanna bring her dog. I will be back!! Thank you all so much.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible service. I went in for my puppy’s second set of shots and checked in at NOON then were “next in line” at 3p we ended up not getting a room or being seen by a doctor until 4:30p. After my puppy got her shots we ended up leaving at 5 with a $120 bill. Around 7:45 we notice my dog has a huge lump on her shoulder where they did her injection. We called up there and they told us to bring her in. As soon as we go in they took her back and just started giving her injections WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION or CONSENT. We then asked the doctor how much this was going to cost and she literally says “a couple bucks” total ended up being $96. They charged us ANOTHER exam fee after being there for over two hour earlier as well as 2 $32 injections they decided to give her without our permission. We went back in to speak with the doctor because we were very confused but she would not come out to speak to us. I have always had bad experiences here but this did it for me.

Experiencia fantástica: This vet clinic and their team are literal life savers. Brought my puppy with parvo to be hospitalized here and could not be more thankful. Not only did my pup make a full recovery, the price for hospitalization was 1/6th the expected cost than several other clinics in the area. They saved my dogs life and my bank account. Don’t listen to other reviews saying the quarantine room is a bunch of cages in the basement or they don’t have overnight care. I called multiple times throughout the night and there was always someone there taking care of the pup. I can’t thank Emily Robinson and her team enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my rabbit hear to get neutered. The price was a little less than 200, which is fairly reasonable for the area. Rabbits are considered "exotic pets" and I've seen many vets charging 300-400 for surgeries. The surgery went very well. My rabbit made a full recovery and we came home with instructions on what to expect over the next two weeks. He was back to himself in a day or two.

Experiencia fantástica: I have never felt so much compassion from a vet staff, this morning I had to put down my 11 y.o Rottweiler. She was the light of my life. The staff was so compassionate and understanding throughout the whole situation. From the front desk , to the staff in the back. Morgan was the assistant that helped the doc put my dog down. Even though I didn’t say much during this visit. Her voice was gentle, and she was gentle taking my dog away. The doc was very informative and patient with me. Putting your pets down is never easy. The doc said with a smile on his face “ She’s had a long life for a dog her size and breed “ that made me feel so good knowing I took such great care of her. I would give this place 10 starts if I could.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!! I wish I could give them zero reviews. This is the second animal I have taken to this vet and they killed both of my animals. I spent over $200 just to be told by the vet my dog was fine, they sent me home with some pain meds and antibiotics and the next day my animal dropped dead. Google says this medicine has been known to kill dogs and it killed mine. I called the vet and was told they would look into this and call me back but no one did. Took 3 more calls over the course of 4 days just to get someone to call me back and I was told "We don't know why she died and can' do anything about it now". Please find another vet as this place does not care!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience here today! We usually go to the location in Springdale for vaccinations etc. for our 2 puppies, but the Springdale location does not offer neutering services, so we scheduled with the Colerain location. All of our questions were answered very promptly via email when first scheduling the appt. I explained that I needed to be at work at a certain time the morning of the drop off, so I wanted to make that process as quick as possible and they were very nice to send me the forms I needed to sign ahead of time so I did not need to do them at the drop off which was great! Everything went smoothly at the drop off, the staff member who opened the doors at the exact time they said they would be opened, was very friendly and got me out in less then 5 minutes which was perfect! They called me later in the day to say that our puppies did great and had no issues. At pick up, the staff was very friendly and explained what we needed to do for post surgery care. One of the staff members carried one of my 2 puppies to my car for me since I was by myself which was super helpful and very much appreciated! I would definitely recommend this location!

Experiencia negativa: I rushed my pitty to this location, on a Wednesday afternoon, after he came back inside crying, whimpering and becoming lethargic. I called prior to leaving to ask if they were an emergency vet. I spoke with Alexis, she informed me that they were not an emergency vet but that they had no wait and to bring him. I was very worried but relived we could get in so quickly as I did not know what was wrong with my pup. Alexis required my contact info, phone number, email address and physical address during this call. I provided this information with the additional information that my pup is dog aggressive. I ALWAYS inform any vet we visit of this fact as it is my job as a responsible pet owner to keep my dog and others safe. I take my responsibility very seriously. We arrived approximately 23 minutes after I called. In my haste to get care I negated to grab my wallet out of the car prior to going into the facility. I let reception know I had just called 20 minutes prior, confirming the previous contact info I had provided. The front desk would not check us in without making a copy of my drivers license. I complied with the request and took my harnessed and leashed pup back out to my car to grab my identification. We than go back in the facility where there were other dogs being checked out. ANY vet we have been to in the past makes sure there are no other dogs around in the common areas due to the dog aggression I had previously stated. My pup goes into ‘bark mode’ and he’s a big boy to restrain but nothing I can’t handle. The staff than put us back in an exam room where we waited approximately 57 minutes. My poor pup not feeling well was growing more and more intolerant with the noise he could hear from other patients. While that part is expected and we were in a closed exam room. I was still panicked and my expectation was there would be little wait time as this is what I was told during my initial call with Alexis. No one ever came to check in with us and we ended up leaving as the stressful environment was making things worse for my sick pup. I than received a very nasty letter from the facility stating we could not come back as we did not complete the visit. I was so worried about my dog and this facility let us down exponentially.

Experiencia negativa: Its taken me two yrs to be able to write about this. I needed to put my sick cat down and I asked 3 different staff members if my cat could have a sedative before being given the 1st injection, bc I did not want her last moments to be scared and in pain. They all told me it was fast and not painful. In actuality, they held my poor terrified cat down, and injected her DEEP into her shoulder, and it took the longest 15-seconds of my life. It was traumatic. I'd been expecting the type of shallow injection they do for a vaccine. My cat was in anguish, wondering why I was allowing this man to hurt her. After the shot, the vet allowed her to get up and fall off the table! Later, when he came back to do the IV, he had a temper tantrum and started cursing when he couldn't get it placed. Idk if euthanasia is initially painful, and ppl can't talk about it, or if the vet did something he was not supposed to. He seemed sociopathic. RIP Pennylane. You didn't deserve what they did to you and I am sorry,

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this location over any other Noah's Ark in Cincy. They always treat my fur babies justly and ease a mama's stress. First, I'll start with background on today. My cat has had liquidy, bloody stool for over a week. He also is not eating as much, is less vocal, puking, less playful, and more tired. This is strange because my cat is the epitome of orange cat syndrome (aka he wants food and playtime 24/7). My husband took him to the West Chester location this morning and even with bloody, liquidy stool they sent him home with NOTHING. For reference, he had diarrhea last year very similar to this and the Colerain location gave him medication that fixed it. West Chester left him to fend for himself I guess. Anyway, after West Chester I took him to Colerain today. The receptionists are so sweet that even before we arrived they made sure the Colerain visit wasn't a mistake due to our West Chester visit earlier in the day. When we arrived they were very amiable and loving to Duncan right when we came through the door. The wait was short since I did online check-in. Once we got into the examination room, the person assisting us was super kind. They talked to my fur baby with respect and let me rant about his symptoms and the stress I had about our visit at the other location earlier in the day. The vet was the same way: professional, kind, caring, and attentive. She gave solutions that gave me peace of mind and hope for my baby. One solution was a nausea shot to help with the puking. I asked if I could please stay in the room while they did it and they accommodated my request without hesitation. Afterwards I was given his medication with a thorough explanation. The person assisting answered all my questions and really loved on my boy. It may not help him physically but the empathy these workers have is very much appreciated. Then I paid at the counter and made my way out. As I did, the first person who assisted me in the examination room made sure to yell, "Bye, Duncan!". We will always come back to this location. Not to mention the price is affordable too!! Side note: I've been here multiple times with all great experiences. I'm not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews. The receptionists don't laugh or giggle at you, from my experience. They treat you and your fur baby with respect. I highly recommend!

This place was such a breath of fresh air for a first time kitten-parent at making me feel calm, answering everything I had questions on, and treating my kittens like they were their own. Highly recommend this place for first time pet-parents and experienced pet-parents alike!

Experiencia negativa: Terrible place to take your animal! Don't do it. Wouldn't cut my dog's nails because other things were more important that I couldn't afford. But said no to trimming her long nails. That's painful for an animal, but they refused. It's all about money at this place. They don't treat your pet like their own!! That's for sure.

Complete pack of sympathy, I felt compelled to put my dog down or pay thousands before they would even offer help/support. The techs chat and giggle the whole time behind the door and they lack empathy as well. Do not go here! They do not care truly about you or your pet, just whats in your wallet.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been to 3 Noahs ark locations and this one is by far the worst. I’m always very polite no matter the circumstances and The front desk staff were also super polite and helpful. but the vet was almost robotic and seemed like he did not want to talk to me. No empathy while telling me my dog had cancer. They told me they would call me the next day to give me his test results & they did not. I called and they told me they would call me back - they never did. Had to call them the next day and still nothing.

Experiencia positiva: Very pleased with my visit today for my dog. She’s been experiencing the runs and not eating. Other than the long wait for the doc (however it was pretty busy) to come into the room I’m super happy. When the doc did get in the room she got on the floor with my dog and did her physical and even saved me a little money by stating she doesn’t feel blood work is needed unless the situation persists after we do this treatment first. VERY affordable even though I did find the same medicine prescribed to my dog for $10.00 on Chewy. I don’t wanna talk about what they charged for it…. But STILL cheaper than most other places. Lost a star for the over priced meds. Still keeping 4 for great customer service and attention. Online check in is kinda great too!

The staff was friendly, attentive, and treated my dog like he was their own, playing, giving affection and creating a positive experience for him the entire time. I didn’t feel a customer, I felt like a friend throughout our appointment. The clinic was clean, organized and professional in appearance. Experiencia negativa: I have a 3 pound Chihuahua It cost me around $400 to get the series of shot needed for a puppy On my last visit I received a call telling me my dog had parasites. I bought the Medicine from the Vet. After the series of meds were completed I wanted to verify that the Parsites were gone. I called to find out if I could drop off a stool sample to be checked. I fully expected to pay for the testing of her stool. I am on Social Security and just can't afford another Office visit. Needless to say I got a stern flat NO. To see if their medicine took care of the problem I now need to bring my puppy into their Office and pay. Noah's Ark already has the monopoly on Veterinarians they don't need my business. It would have been so nice if they had acted like they cared and offered to allow me to make payments. Just so much greed. I am surely disappointed with the behavior.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave negative 10 stars I would in a heartbeat, they say they treat your pet like their own, THATS A LIE. Idk where all these great reviews are coming from but these ppl do not care about your animals, all that care about is the money in your pockets! I took my cat to Noah's on 09/19 for uveitis in her eye. Dr Robinson drew my cats blood without asking me first, she put dye in her eye & didn't tell me those 2 things would cost $200+ by themselves.. so I wasnt able to pay for her blood work, & have until the 29th to pay for it so they can run it. Dr Robinson sent me home with an anti-inflammatory/pain med for 3 days, she didn't give me the topical or antibiotic she said she was giving me. She knew this wasn't going to do much & that I'd have to come back... they literally only care about the $$. Therefore I had to go back last night bc her eye is still very swollen & even tho she's eating & drinking & using the bathroom well, she's still sleeping a lot & isn't acting herself. Dr. Heard was so caring & compassionate last night, she's the only reason I'm giving a star. She stated she's almost certain without running her blood that she has FIP which is fatal. There are black market drugs out there but it's expensive & not 100%. We got to talking about putting her down so she doesn't suffer & I was so emotional I forgot to get the medication filled. So I called just now, Kate or Katie answered & was so rude & not caring at all. She stated Dr heard wouldn't be in until Monday & I'd have to wait. I asked to speak with a different Dr bc I need them today & she said she can put in a note but she doubts the Dr will get back to me today... & basically hung up on me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Experiencia fantástica: My cat had two leg surgeries roughly two years ago, which were both done by Dr. Ric Berlinski. Dr. Ric was phenomenal, he helped me understand what was wrong, and thoroughly explained what he would be doing during both of my cats surgeries. When he was determining what was wrong with my cats leg, I thought it may have been his foot. When I said something, Dr. Ric explained that it was his patella, and had me feel what was happening. He proceeded to explain what was wrong, and potential solutions. When a week or so of rest didn’t correct the issue, Dr. Ric made sure I fully understood how the surgery works, and what he would be doing to repair my cats leg. Dr. Ric was confident in his ability to perform both surgeries, and his patience and willingness to help me understand gave me confidence too. Post surgery I was a very anxious pet parent, my cat was confined to a large dog crate while he healed, and would lay in his litter box despite having a ton of room. I was terrified he would get an infection, and also had no idea if he was healing normally, post surgery looks brutal! I emailed Noah’s Ark photos of my cat, and Dr. Ric reached out to explain what I was seeing and what to look out for. When I had further concerns I could always reach someone via phone call or email, and they were extremely prompt and helpful. The staff was very kind and patient, especially with my cranky old cat. When I learned normal litter was off limits post surgery, an awesome tech gave me a huge bag of shredded paper, and helped me carry everything to my car. There were also quite a few staff members who made handling an irate cat look easy! We’ve since found a vet closer to home, but I am eternally thankful for the services provided to me and my family at the Colerain location.

Experiencia negativa: Took my cat in because she was going outside of her litter box. I let them know her ears looked like they were bothering her. They took ear swabs. The doctor came, decided she needed urine and and blood samples. I was told I was good to leave, but never heard about her ears. I asked, and they realized they never even ran the test. (1 hour after taking the swabs) They learned she had an ear infection and gave me ear drops. The doctor never even looked at her ears. I asked if we could cancel the urine and blood test since they could be causing the problem and they wouldn’t let me because they “didn’t know for certain” if that was causing her to go outside the litter box. Samples came back today with nothing wrong with them, and now I’m down $500. I wish I would have gone to another vet. The entire time I felt like everything was happing around me and not once was price ever talked about to me. I’m just lucky I had a credit card on me, I don’t know what I would have done.

Experiencia negativa: I want to give benefit of the doubt, but when it is happening for the second time, how much of it is coincidence? I bought their "wellplan", knowing I do not have to pay extra out of pocket. Took my pet when he was sick, and after visit I came to know sickness is not covered in the plan. I had to pay >$120 on that day. Whatever medicine they prescribed did not work. Came back in a week for a better treatment. They suggested test of blood+stool test, estimated around $350+, obviously "wellplan" does not work here. The "wellplan" states neuter/spay free with preoperative bloodwork. So, I called, to get it scheduled. On a recorded line they told me, I have to pay extra $120 for bloodwork, they will not honor the bloodwork that was done in last month. Even though "wellplan" rules says any bloodwork should be good for 90 days. These liars also says unlimited toe nail trims. Never got this service, every time the excuse was, the toe nail is not long enough. So we had to do it at home. Just wondering, who are these people that have giving 5 stars to such institution, are those the family members, friends, boyfriend? 5/5/2023: Adding this, wellplan is not helping reducing the cost. They want twice the cost they provide to be billed and spread into 12 months billing. So that customer will not see much at once, and get overlooked.

Experiencia negativa: I took my 2 dogs in for a teeth cleaning. 30 minutes later I get a call that my dog heart stopped and they asked me if I wanted them to try to revive him. I would've thought that they would have before calling me being it's in the pets best interest. He passed away and they billed me for trying to revive him. I paid the bill and paid for the ashes. They said that I'll have his ashes in 2 weeks and it's well passed 3 weeks now. People keep in mind they are practicing medicine on our dogs and if they really cared about their clients they wouldn't ask permission to save their clients and wouldn't billed to try to save them while in their care. Now I'm waiting for my phone call to pick up my dog ashes.

Experiencia negativa: My family has been going to this vet for nearly 50 years. I just had to change vets because Noah's Ark basically stole $200 from me for blood tests. Both my dogs needed "pre-surgery blood tests" and the results are good for 90 days meaning I just need to get the surgery done within 90 days. I call to get the surgeries scheduled but they are booked out FIVE MONTHS!! Basically, they talked me into getting blood tests which were meaningless because my dogs couldn't have their surgeries within the 90 day window. Noah's Ark of course knew this but still took my money anyways. I'm so disappointed. Also, they never reply to their emails. I've moved my dogs to Glenway Animal Hospital, hopefully I have better service there.

Experiencia negativa: I have always had amazing experiences at this vet until my last visit. All of the people up front are absolutely amazing and so kind but I had a vet walk right outside the room and start talking about me saying negative things within earshot. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional it was. At least walk away before you start talking about your paying customers. It was really awkward for me to finish the visit. I left with questions that were unanswered because she rushed out of the room. I would like a vet that cares and will answer all of my questions, not someone who made me feel like I annoyed them and they judged me. I will not be back to this location. I’m very disappointed because some of the vets and all the rest of the staff here are great but I would not want to get the same vet again.

Experiencia negativa: Our cat was sedated for the appt and we arrived on time, however we were not seen until the sedation had worn off. Friendly doctor but poor communication on emergencies that led to our car not properly being examined.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the most caring and knowledgeable veterinary practices in our area. I know my pets will receive the best care when I bring them in. The pricing is very fair, and the care is top-notch. When it comes to end of life care for your pet, Noah's Ark shows the utmost compassion.

Experiencia fantástica: Was able to schedule appointment quickly to get in and have my dog examined. So appreciative of the care my dog received. Left feeling at ease after diagnosing illness. Thank you for the great care you provided.

Experiencia positiva: I called and was added to the wait-list. I received a text link that I could check my place in line. I don't feel like I had to wait long. The staff was friendly and showed compassion. Rates were affordable. We had a standard visit fee, and x-ray and 2 medications. Overall good experience

Experiencia fantástica: This was our first visit to Noah's Ark with our dog, Brinkley, and it was the best visit ever! We were greeted by friendly staff members who had a great system for checking animals in. Then we had a nice talk with a technician who asked about the reason for our visit and what we hoped to accomplish. Then, Dr. Savage did a thorough exam and explained very clearly what we were dealing with. She answered all our questions and double checked at the end to see if we had any more. We were treated with respect and kindness all the way around. Everyone we met treated us well. Noah's Ark is without a doubt our new animal clinic!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff & Dr were very sweet towards my fur baby & treated him with so much compassion. I felt comfortable there I think because of the atmosphere the staff created. My family has been coming to Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic for at least 30 years! At my most recent visit I asked for a rabies vaccine & a booster. I then gave them my prior paperwork with the vaccination certificate from his last appointment. I realized after the visit that he didn’t need a rabies shot until 2024 but the booster was due. So he ended up getting a shot that he didn’t need for another year and a half. I do wish they would have been more thorough. The information was provided to them by request. But besides that the visit was great!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Our family Vet was out of town on one of the most horrific days in our lives. Our thirteen year old red nose pit, had a stroke that left him in sever pain, and unable to use his back legs. We called our Vets office and they suggested another place that we had been before and hated the Price, Service, and Attitude. So we called Noah's Ark Animal Clinic, right away the pleasant phone conversation, customer service skills, and the concern for my pets issue was priceless. Gave us a price over the phone, told us they could see us same day, and they take all forms of payments. Upon arrival, they moved us to a room and explained everything to us, asked if we had questions, told us to take our time, and we knew the best thing for our little boy was no more pain. The staff made us feel like we were at home with our dog, they came in and loved on him, played, coddled, kissed, cried, and asked if we needed anything at all to let them know. Having to say goodbye to your little furry boy that has brought so much love and joy into your life over the past 13 years is never an easy task, but Noah's Ark really helped us say goodbye with love and honor. I have another dog who is now going to be a proud Noah's Ark Animal whenever he needs anything coming up. You've won me over as a customer. Please, go visit these people! If you're going to a place on Winton Road, you are paying way to much! I recommend Noah's Ark Animal Clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: Extremely happy with the service, cost and overall friendliness of our visit. We got on the wait list and were able to be seen in less than 30 minutes to get shots for our girl. Professional, easy and they actually care about your animal.

Experiencia negativa: I called to see if i could bring my mother’s dog in for an emergency! (She cant walk, he paw is severely swollen, and she wont eat) The rude a** receptionist asked “is this a medical emergency or can I place you on hold?” I consider it to be an emergency especially since she cant walk and obviously in pain…. she placed me on hold anyway!! I called back three more times just for her to continuously do the same thing without hearing why my call was an emergency. She was extremely rude and I will never try my luck at THIS location again.

Experiencia negativa: I'm a little upset, not going to lie. I feel like the vet lied to us to squeeze money out of us, I brought my malnourished rescue in and was treated with nothing but passive aggression because they ASSUMED i had something to do with her condition rather than actually speak with me about when/how I got her. I spent 800 dollars on meds, an xray, and the vets reassurance that "she's going to be fine!" If you go to school for as long as a vet does then being able to tell someone "your dog isn't going to make it" shouldn't be that hard because its YOUR JOB. my dogs condition has not gotten better and other vets agree she should've been put down a week and a half ago when I first went into Noah's Ark, and instead they prescribed meds that don't work and tried to schedule her for a tail docking (she's an 8 yr old Boxer who's back legs are riddled with arthritis, so to anyone who has critical thinking skills surgery would not be on the table). Not to mention when I asked what I could to to help with her EPI I was given the instructions I was already following on her enzyme treatment container. Awesome work guys! You guys definitely care about our dogs and are not trying to weasel money out of desperate pet owners!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Savage is an excellent vet. She is very thorough, communicative, and gave me some excellent recommendations for local exotic vets, since you don't have one currently. Dr. Davis saved the life of our dog, Trixie, back in 2013, and now at 15 years old and only 3 legs, she's still going strong. I am always surprised by the low fees, and always have a good experience. Thanks for that!

Experiencia negativa: Took my puppy there for a checkup and the lady that checked her was not nice. Very rude. I would try to talk and she would just talk over me. She tried to do tests without consulting me first. She preceded to make up symptoms that we never said she had, as an excuse for these tests. Seemed like this place did not care for the customers or their pets. Seemed like they were trying to do random tests just to get more money. Never going back again.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog had to have foreign body surgery and Noah’s Ark took great care of her. She received a great veterinary care at a amazing price. Dr. Hird and Dr. Robinson were absolutely amazing and I can’t thank them enough. Yes the wait here is sometimes very long but it’s worth it in the end when you pay less than other veterinary offices in the area.

Experiencia negativa: The staff was super nice and super knowledgeable and made us aware of every possible outcome and all of our options. I just wish there was more privacy. My boyfriend and his mom had their dog since he was six weeks old and he was 15 years old. In the last couple months his health had declined and they had taken him in because he wasn’t breathing right. The staff immediately took him and put him in an oxygen incubator. They gave us our options and unfortunately we had to make the devastating decision to euthanize him. I understand it may have been a very busy day but the room we were put in had a very large window and a window in the door as well and no blinds or curtains and we had a clear view of the waiting room. With that being said the people in the waiting room had a very clear view of us being told the most devastating news of our lives. Our dogs are our children, I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the worst news of our lives, and everyone in the waiting room could see us breaking down and falling to the floor crying. They also got to watch us hold our sweet Rudo while he took his last breath. Like I said I understand it may have been busy and being short staffed, I just wish they would’ve moved us rooms when it was time to say goodbye or had a more private area. We also chose to take him home to bury him and they did give us a box to put him in but it’s very awkward walking through a waiting room full of happy people with their pets while we’re living the worst day of our life walking through them all with our sweet Rudo in a box. My friend had told me when she put her dog down (at a different vet) they had them walk out of the back door instead of through the waiting room. Just a suggestion maybe?? More privacy in that time would’ve made a huge difference.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a good experience this time. Except the wait for my pet to be seen was over 6 hours. I signed up on line which made it more convienient, however. I felt the price was high considering they are known forbbeing more reasonably priced. Their medications are expensive. The doctor was very knowledgeable and great with my pet. The staff was very professional and friendly.

Jasmine Mason Publicada en Google 3 years ago

Experiencia negativa: Since Covid everything has changed. You can’t make an appointment. It takes at least 2 hours to be seen. Once you get in the Doctor doesn’t even acknowledge your presence. Then if your dog is sick. You are going to PAY big time. Ringworm medication for a puppy was $178. Buyer beware. They are out for your money and professionalism is lacking.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT PUT THE LIFE OF YOUR LOVED PET IN THEIR CARE... because they DO NOT care. They only got a star because I can't post without one. They don't deserve $h!T! I don't like to give bad reviews but when I bring my "Who Dey" kitty through their door and they turn him away after I notified them of his life or death situation. This makes my review beneficial to others, especially to those who's pets may not have the time to travel 30-45 minutes across town to another ER Vet like mine did not. They were the closest to me and I was told my cat could be seen on Monday. I let them know that he would not make it until Monday and the response from the front desk was to casually ask each other where the post it notes were so they could casually hand write the contact info for a couple ER Vets on the other side of the city. My kitty could have possibly been saved. This place should be bulldozed to the ground.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this clinic! Everyone is so loving to my animals just like they are their own. Been bringing my pets here for many years and have never been disappointed in the care, the staff, the vets. I ave always recommended Colerain Animal Clinic to friends and family family for the care of their beloved pets. They are the best and continue to be as Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic. I can’t say enough.good things about them.
