Experiencia negativa: This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a veterinary clinic. They showed no compassion, no urgency, and wanted $300+ just to talk — without offering any help or advice for my pet in distress. I left and went to Killeen Emergency Vet, where they charged only $140 and actually cared. Save yourself the stress — go somewhere else.
We're sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. We tried to offer options over the phone and explained that our doctor, unfortunately, was in emergency surgery. We do our best to try and help every client, but there are sometimes we are unable to see them all. Our goal is to provide compassionate and effective care, and we are sorry we were unable to see your pet and glad you got the care you needed.
Experiencia fantástica: We love the care that Doctor Turner gives to our pets family. She is very through and gives the best care. The Technicians are wonderful and handle our pets with the best care. We caught Missy's ear infection early. Doctor Turner did a through checkup and test. She perscribed ear medication and she is starting to feel better. We have had all three pets teeth cleaned and some teeth needed pulling. Doctor Turner did a wonderful job and prescribed medication to help them feel more comfortable and heal well. We love Stagecoach Veterinary Clinic for top quality care for our precious pet babies.

Experiencia fantástica: I wish I took more pictures. The entance/waiting room was very esthetically pleasing and they even had beverages for guests (coffee/water) that I enjoyed while waiting. The people at the front desk was really nice and patient with my questions. Our vet technician was incredibly sweet, comforting and extremely helpful (sorry I can't remember your name ♀️). My cat Firefly was pretty chill in the hands of the team as well. The veterinarian was a charming older gentleman that genuinely cared about Firefly and did what he could to help me and my furbaby. Experiencia negativa: This was my first visit to this veterinary clinic and it was a horrible experience. I had an appointment scheduled, yet I waited over 40 minutes in the lobby with no updates. Eventually someone came out with a clipboard and started going over a $380 estimate they had prepared—without even examining my dog. I asked why we were discussing an estimate in the lobby before my pet had even been seen, and the response was dismissive. I explained there were additional issues I needed to discuss with the veterinarian, and was told, “Just wait, we’ll get you in when we can.” The whole interaction felt unprofessional and disrespectful. If appointments don’t matter and clients are expected to wait indefinitely while staff push estimates without evaluating the pet, then this clinic is not prioritizing animals or their owners. If you love your pet then do not waste your time or money here.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you for seeing my Hippie right away. My boy (cat) injured himself by somehow by winding up with quite a deep laceration. I was told to come in and he would be seen as soon as we got there. He was! They took him back and stitched him up while I waited. Dr. Taylor was very thorough and the front desk team was equally wonderful! The fees were very reasonable too. Emergencies are not easy on the fur baby or the human either. Hippie says thank you!

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been taking my baby here for about 2 years now, ever since she had an emergency where an abscess ruptured and we had no idea what was going on! They didn’t even hesitate to see her as an emergency without an appointment! I’ve been going to them since! One of the receptionist upfront was a little rude because of a lack of communication on their end HOWEVER the techs and the doctors and everyone else I have encountered are so wonderful and caring!

Experiencia negativa: You guys try to use scare tactic to get people out of money. The doctor literally told me my dog would die if they didn't take her in and run all of these test. They told me my dog had parvo but I kept explaining that she didn't have the symptoms they were explaining. Long story short I took my baby home gave her Pedialyte and lots of rest and she was back to herself the next day. Saving me 1400$

Experiencia negativa: I would give a zero star if possible. My wife and I have told them on numerous occasions to only contact me if there is a medical emergency. Ultimately, they would not respect this and constantly contacted me. This created a problem with my wife knowing why our cat was to be treated with a beta blocker. She attempted multiple times to inquire why our cat needed this. I repeatedly stated, "You need to contact my wife." They would not respect this and constantly called/texted me at work. Long story short, my wife was curt with a vet tech and once again the vet bothered me at work claiming wife was the problem. I told Dr. Turner to call my wife. I listened to the recorded conversation between them. Dr. Turner yelled at my wife. Ultimately, my wife yelled back. Dr. Alexa Turner said, "I'm going to call your husband!" Was that an idle threat? All she proved is that her and her staff do NOT respect other people. Stagecoach is a nightmare to deal with. You have been warned!!

Experiencia fantástica: Took my cat in for urinary issues, the staff were all super friendly and very knowledgeable, they answered all the questions I had, and they took very good care of my baby and really went above and beyond in their service. I called a few vet offices the day prior to price out services, not only are they well priced but the receptionist was the only one out of every place I called to ask me what was going on with my cat rather than just tell me the price for the service, she was super awesome and helped address any concerns I might’ve had. I would recommend this office 100% to anyone who needs a good veterinarian.

Experiencia fantástica: After having a Vet for over 25 years taking care of my pets, he retired. I found myself having to select another veterinarian to take on the task. After shopping around in the Killeen and Copperas Cove area, I chose Stagecoach, for a couple of reasons. One was the price. Although it was higher than I was used to, it was cheaper than most around here. Second, was the receptionist on the phone. She was kind, courteous and helpful. A BIG plus for me. Third, was the location. I liked the idea it was 'kinda' on the outskirts of town and easy to get to. Our first visit went well. Showed up early for yearly shots for my Heeler and got out early. Hardly any wait time. I was concerned about my dogs attitude and they provided a muzzle for me. (It was needed, as I expected) The on-line pharmacy is something new to me, but it went well, for flea treatment meds.

Experiencia fantástica: Took my little pitty(Stella) in for an emergency. The little punk chewed our pantry lock(plastic) and ate literally everything she could. Poison control told us to get here in as soon as possible. When we got in the staff was amazing! Running around to take care of our little girl, it kind of felt like we were in an actual hospital with the genuine care they provided. Our Stella is completely fine now and was cought trying to get in the pantry for seconds(new lock is on the inside now). 10/10 would trust them with our fur babies.

The ladies at the reception desk are super welcoming to all that enter. The technicians are friendly, loving and well trained especially Mia. They all go above and beyond to help. Experiencia fantástica: Dec 2024. I still bring my dog to Stagecoach and their care has been good. No more car visits! It’s easy to get new prescriptions from them day of. The vets are still very caring and listen to issues. Old review: I have no issues with their level of care and compassion towards my fur baby. They loaded him up on vaccinations, tested for heartworm and medicated him to prevent that. They explained some cattle/rat urine disease local to Texas that I didn't know he needed to be protected from. The vet even came out and explained his care in person, while waiting in my car. That's where my issue comes in. They have had many months of getting used to the Covid restrictions. I waited, in the car in the heat, for 45 minutes before we were seen. The excuse? Because we're visiting pets in their cars! Seems to me they should have the experience to know they can't handle their normal patient scheduling and should build in longer appt times. I know that would impact the bottom line since it means fewer patients per hour, but you'd certainly have happier customers. They wouldn't have waited for me to be 45 minutes late. Why do I have to wait for them? My time is just as valuable. Adjust your scheduling procedures to account for the car visits. It's an easy solution and would make your customers happier.

Experiencia positiva: I love the location but I always call ahead to ask for what I need and the pricing but it never fails every time when I get there there’s always extra charges and they try to upsell the ticket; it is bothersome when I am on the phone if there are suggestions tell me then so my budget can be my budget. Told I was seeing a tech but then get there got to see the vet which is double the price. Please stop doing that.

Experiencia negativa: I been using this vet since we moved here in 2020. It’s right down the road from us so it’s convenient. However I consistently try to find a different vet because this place is money hungry. Everytime we have been seen for one simple thing it’s one thing or another they want to try and sell us or recommend to us to buy from them. My dog twice has been tested for the same disease (hundreds of dollars) with nothing showing in that extra test just for them to just push it aside and no further concern or testing however when we just need an allergy shot they say they can’t see us because my dog hasn’t been seen in a year by them and we also must pay for an exam on top of the shot he needs. Probably because it costs us 300-400 everytime he needs shots and we instead take him to a vet who cares about the pets and not the $$$. We are finally washing our hands of this vet. The only reason I considered them this time was because of the location was closer than the other vet.

Experiencia positiva: New to the area, and my dog started experiencing symptoms of allergies. They were able to get us in quick for an appointment. The staff is all very friendly. They prescribed a few different medications for my dog to help treat his infections from the allergies, and to tame the allergies going forward. Experiencia fantástica: I brought my dog here for a second opinion. She has gradually been losing the ability to walk. Our vet kept saying she just needed to lose weight and she had arthritis in her right knee. Took her to stagecoach, they did a full lab work-up (waiting on results) and they did X-rays. My poor baby didn’t just have arthritis in her right knee. Stagecoach said she has severe arthritis in her back, both hips and both knees. They also think she might have some endocrine issues (hence the lab work). They also carried my baby to the car because she couldn’t walk. At our other vet, i had to carry her and I’m 8 months pregnant so that was fun . Needless to say, we will be now coming to stagecoach for all our needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Best animal hospital in the entire universe. I want to thank the Veternarian, Vet techs and Receptionists for their grace and support. For checking on my Raya, getting her all the tests done she needed. Kept in touch with me and took care of her for me. Unfortunately I had to make a extremely hard decision to put her down because she was not doing well at all. They were all there for me and treating Raya with love. I have 3 dogs, another cat and bird and you bet I'll be taking them here if anything is to happen to them as well. Your pets are in the best of care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Experiencia negativa: Spent 4 hours waiting, cramped uncomfortable rooms and bench. One assistant rolled her eyes and had a bad attitude. Expensive, felt unattaended to and uncared for. Only one assistant was friendly to us. Will never go back, take your pet somewhere else
Experiencia fantástica: Love this place! Much closer than the vet in temple. I was able to do a weekend walk in on Saturday. They did blood work on my pet that the shelter I adopted him from, nor the first vet I took him to, did not do. Because of that blood work, I found out my poor cat has FIV+ and Leukemia. The staff were very supportive and so kind!

Experiencia negativa: This veterinary clinic is ridiculously slow. I show up ten minutes early to the appointment but still ending up waiting for at least an hour after my scheduled appointment time. But they’re quick to try to get my money, sending multiple texts and emails to buy their products. Also, they had a receptionist who couldn’t figure out how to do her job. I bet they overbook their services. I’ve never waited so long just for routine care for my dogs. We won’t be coming back.

Experiencia fantástica: I called in for an appointment for my cat. Her eye was swollen and there was something wrong with her nose. I called 3 other vets and was told I would have to make an appointment for June. When I called StageCoach they offered me an appointment in June. I told the receptionist that would not work. I needed to have my girl looked at same day if at all possible. She told me she was going to consult the doctor. She came back and offered me two appointment times for the same day. The doctor and technician were extremely helpful. I was given medication to treat her condition. I received a call the next day inquiring about how she was doing. I would highly recommend StageCoach for their kindness and compassion and their professionalism! I am so Thankful they were able to squeeze her in. 5 Star Service

Experiencia fantástica: I'm a "frequent flyer" due to my dogs' various health needs. Whenever I go in, they are busy! This is a good sign. Even with the busy-ness, they do their best to make time for even a quick evaluation. Sometimes the wait is long for just a 10-15 minute visit, but, again, I trust the busy-ness due to having so many patients.

Experiencia negativa: The ONLY reason this place is getting two stars is because of the vet techs we had Saturday morning. I unfortunately had to put my dog down and it was sudden as he was consistently throwing up blood. First of all, $250 is insane. Secondly, the male veterinarian that came into the room is way too insensitive for this line of work. I understand you see these types of situations or worse almost daily, but come on dude. To act ANNOYED my dying dog is throwing up blood and getting frustrated he’s slipping around in it because he has not control of his body in his final moments really is disgusting and upsetting. The reason for my visit was known as I called ahead of time. So why are we waiting for me to be sitting on the floor grieving to ask me for payment? I don’t know. The entire situation felt insensitive and I wish I could have given my boy a better place to have his final moments. I went based off reviews and just hoped it was gonna be a similar experience to others. To the two vet techs that helped with Venom, THANK YOU. I cannot express my gratitude to you guys enough for being so calm, patient, and comforting in that moment for me. Thank you for trying to make me feel at ease with him leaving us and for being so gentle and loving with him. For explaining every step to me along the way as I made it clear I had never had to do this before and I was completely beside myself. Thank you.

Experiencia positiva: (This is an old review from 2023.) The acting vet and the tech, Sarah, were great. Especially Sarah. The main reason I am giving only 4 stars is because of having to wait outside in my vehicle instead of in the waiting room. They said it’s because my cat was coming for sneezing and they didn’t want to “expose” the other animals. Possibly understandable but neither myself or my son who accompanied me liked it. This was my first time at this clinic but it didn’t make me feel comfortable. Dr. Musgrave gave me the impression she knew her business but I really didn’t get a chance to ask questions. She talks very fast. Sarah does too but Sarah will slow down and listen and answer questions. I understand Dr. Musgrave is busy and has many clients but it really felt very rushed and hurried. Waiting for the test results to come back before I make a final judgement on this clinic. I much prefer a private veterinarian at these prices but I can’t find one here in Killeen, TX. Wish I could have dragged my old vet, whom I’ve been with over 25+ yr with me to Killeen. I stand by my 4 star rating right now. Holding the 5th star until later. Stay safe…

I had a dog pass away and when I was able to pull myself together enough to leave I noticed that they had lit candles, dimmed the lights and put a sign up asking customers to be respectful because someone lost a loved one today. It was very touching and made me feel cared for.

Experiencia negativa: I took my dog here to establish new care. We went to East Lake clinic up until their closure a couple of years ago and loved the team there. My first visit at Stagecoach did not go well. They did not pay attention to details. They made up a birthday for my dog and the vet called my dog a girl several times even after being corrected by myself and the vet tech. No big deal. The clinic administered his vaccinations and he has not been well since. We take him back today for testing and after an $800 bill receive a call that if we WANTED we could bring him back because the test showed something unclear. I truly feel my dog fell ill due to the care administered here a couple of weeks ago and to ask for me to pay for another test is unimaginable. For the price you would expect compassion and quality service. At minimum pay attention to the small things like the missed birthday and incorrect gender. I would never recommend this vet and regret subjecting my sweet dog to this.

Experiencia fantástica: Checked out this place after my previous vet closed. They treated my cat for her ear infection and got her vaccines done. The staff is amazing and kind. My cat has some anxiety with car rides and vet trips and even though she fought them the second trip they took great care of her. They were able to prescribe gabapentin to help with the trips and when I give her treatment at home, which has made this process much less stressful for myself and my baby. Im very grateful for the help in getting her to a healthy weight as well. Definitely will continue going here!

Experiencia negativa: Today, I called asking if they could fit me in (new to the area, I don’t have a vet yet for my animals) due to my cat vomiting and limping. They said they could fit me in at 3pm but it would be $175. I got there around 3:08 and checked in. By 5pm I still had not been seen and asked the unpleasant woman at the front desk if they had forgotten about me to which she told me they do not prioritize “walk ins” - no one at any point told me that I could be waiting 2+ hrs, i left work and my kids to bring my cat in. They did not seem to have any empathy or care in the world that I had been there for over 2 hours. I will be taking my animals elsewhere, obviously. But I just can’t believe this is concidered ok and normal to them!!

He has been going to this vet since I pick him up at 6 weeks.. but the last couple of times I been just trying to brush it over my shoulders. But this last visit was horrendous, 1st the prices have definitely went up and 2nd when they took my dog Milo to the back to clip his nails they had spilt it right down the middle and in that same sentence wanted us as the owners to put a muzzle on my anxiety dog which the techs and doctors already knew he has anxiety but wanted to treat him like he was an aggressive breed. I will be taking my business else where, since the tech and doctor seem to not know what they were talking about and kept repeating my dog was aggressive when he was just scared
Experiencia fantástica: My dog and I had an incredible first visit with this vet! When Dr. Turner came into see my dog she immediately sat on the ground and spent time making him more comfortable. She was so patient and made it clear she would hang around until my dog was ready to be close to her. The tech, Debbie, was very helpful in answering all my questions and demonstrating how to administer the medication they prescribed! Overall it was a really great experience, I highly recommend!

Experiencia positiva: It's okay. The prices are high. My mother is a senior citizen on a fixed income and she spends a small fortune at this place. One day after she got an $800 bill I asked if there is any way she could get a loyalty / multi-dog (she's got 5) / senior citizen discount and their response was basically "lol get bent." Response to "Response from the owner": I already tried to talk to you about the discount and was blown off. Why would I contact you now to discuss it? Is that the level of customer service your clients should expect -- to only get results once you've been shamed in a public forum? We've already taken our business elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Alexa Turner and her staff and truly wonderful and gifted. We had the privilege of leaving our dog, Ivy, in their hands. Ivy came in during an Addisonian crisis and Dr. Alexa caught it in enough time to save my best friend's life. She and the staff worked diligently and quickly to take care of my pet. Time was of the essence and God was on our side leading us to Stagecoach. You can tell the staff truly love the pets as their own. The techs and Doctor went above and beyond to make us and our Husky feel loved and safe. I truly trusted them with my most important furry friend’s well being. The staff even took steps to help us transition to an overnight clinic and personally called each clinic to find us the very best care. I am unbelievably grateful and impressed. Experiencia fantástica: Amazing clinic! I have been wanting to write this review for a while but have been mourning. I have had many pets over the years and seen many vets and this is by far the best. I truly appreciate the compassion and care that both my pets and I have received. Shortly after moving to the area one of my cats became diabetic. They were kind and did a great job of explaining things to me and we were able to get him into remission. Shortly after him being able to stop insulin my other cat had a sudden urinary blockage. My beautiful copper, they saw me quickly on a walk in and rushed to save him. They treated him wonderfully and took the time to explain everything to me. Although he continued to block and I had to ultimately let him go, it was in tender hands. They were extremely professional and sweet as I was an utter mess. I have loss pets over the years but this clinic was the most caring one I have been too. Everything from the exceptional urn to the personal card was appreciated thank you all so much! (Only vet I would ever recommend)

Experiencia fantástica: Of course, my pet doesn't get sick during normal business hours. Regular vet was not available and did not have an MD on site to treat walk-ins. I discovered Stagecoach Pet Clinic on Google! Hours of operation posted as well as walk-in info. The receptionist was friendly. Compassionate. Yet thorough. Provided cost details in advance!!! Check-in was seamless. They got us back to a room within a reasonable amount of time. Considering I didn't have an appointment. Maybe 15 minutes. In spite of an emergency in progress, two technicians did the initial assessment and checked on us constantly! The doctor stepped in to introduce herself and provided initial thoughts and recommendations. Words cannot express my gratitude for the entire staff!!! Professional. Friendly. Efficient. AND, a technician called me two days later to check on the status of my pet!!!! Provided recommendations on where I could purchase a specific pet food. I'm sold! I think we have a new vet!

Experiencia fantástica: We love this clinic so much, we have been there since we got our golden puppy. They pulled her through parvo and now she is 100% healthy and thriving. She LOVES going to the vet and she loves all of the team but she does have a favorite, one of the vet techs, Mya! Our pup has not forgotten the care they gave her when she was so ill. Experiencia fantástica: This is the BEST pet hospital I have ever brought any of my pets to. The staff here cares about the animals and the smiles I get when I walk in always make my day. I brought my puppy here originally for an emergency and ended up loving the entire office. Dr. Turner is absolutely incredible with my puppy and takes the time to explain everything and listens to owners about what's going on with their pet, treatment options, and affordability options. As long as she is in practice, my pets will be patients of hers. I just can't get over how caring the staff is, they will even call to check on your pet! It's so comforting to be able to trust such amazing people with your pets. Stagecoach doesn't get enough recognition for their outstanding patient care and customer service!

They are friendly, their prices are reasonable, and they don’t try to force you into paying some ridiculous high prices for items you may not really need at that moment. Experiencia fantástica: The staff here is amazing! The receptionist, the tech, the vet, and everyone else involved made understanding and treating my kitty’s condition so easy. My cat had a scary emergency situation but the staff took great care of him and now he’s on the road to recovery. I will absolutely be using this vet in the future. Thank you stagecoach!

Experiencia fantástica: I loved the employees friendly atmosphere and kindness. They gave me hope back into the veterinary community in Killeen. I’ve been to other places in the past and was disappointed in the treatment of my animals and staff attitude. Thank you for you kindness, it goes a long way when you are worried about your fur baby.

Experiencia negativa: ZERO STARS if I could. Don’t waste your time. Find a vet that knows what they’re doing/talking about. Took our cat in due to constant diarrhea multiple times and we kept being told to test the stool. Each time we were told to take these meds or give this then drop the stool off for retesting (which they charged us every time despite them never fixing the original issue) they assured each prescription “would work this time.” Somehow, each time we got stool results, which we had to call multiple times to get despite being told they would call us in 24 hrs, the infection somehow persisted so the recommend more prescriptions which “are stronger.” Straight money grab business and scam.
Experiencia positiva: I had to take my pet to a new Vet due to moving…The receptionists and techs are sweet and kind but everytime I have taken my pet here I never get seen at my appointment time. I wait on average from 40 min to an hour. They also do not carry food or preventative on hand so they have you use their online pharmacy which is not always convenient. Overall the vibe of the place just seems scattered. UPDATE: I was called personally about my experience this morning and they truly were the sweetest in refunding my tech visit without me even asking for it and apologized due to the wait and helped me complete an order over the phone for my pets preventative. Customer service is really good here.

Experiencia fantástica: We were referred to Stage Coach clinic by our vet on an emergency basis and we are so happy with the care our beloved dog received. The entire staff from the receptionist to the technicians and veterinarians were absolutely amazing. We’re so happy with the care received that we are switching over to them for full time service.

Experiencia positiva: I absolutely loved the veterinarian that saw my pupper. The only critique I have is this: the receptionist was lovely, and very friendly….but pretty chatty. I felt bad when checking out because she was telling me a story, meanwhile there was a line forming behind me. I was trying to pay and schedule the next appointment and she was trying to have a total conversation, which is great- (not sure if anyone behind me thought so)…however different story in the back…it felt kind of rushed. Almost like I wasn’t given an opportunity to ask questions. Not sure if it was just that day, or if it’s common practice. But my pup is a new breed to me as a pet owner and I would have liked the opportunity to ask questions. Overall, though I’m looking forward to going back for his boosters in a few weeks.

Experiencia fantástica: My Fifi was not feeling well. And needed to be seen right away. I was so scared as a new fur baby mom. The staff at Stagecoach Pet Hospital calmed my nerves. Helped my Fifi and took amazing care of her. I am so blessed they are where there. They should get more stars than 5. 100% recommend them.
